When my shower started putting out only boiling hot water with no way to adjust it from the handle I suspected my shower cartridge (The piece behind the handle that controls water pressure and temp) had gone bad. Having experience changing them before I took a crack at my Kohler shower fixture. After an evening of trying just to remove the shower handle and bonnet that wouldn't budge I knew something was off and I didn't want to apply unnecessary torque potentially cracking a pipe or worse behind the wall. Time to call a pro...

I put the word out on Yelp and Tom's was the first to respond (within 20 min). He communicated over text with a quick estimate and availability. A few texts back and forth gave me a good feeling so I scheduled for the next day. I was really impressed with their efficiency and communication, while the 3 other plumbers all responded with a give me a call (ain't no one got time for that) Tom's Plumbing and Heating Services was hustling!

True to form they showed up at 10am (right at the start of the 10am-12pm window) got started right away. I felt relieved and concerned that he also struggled a bit to remove then handle/bonnet - the reason was poor initial installation. A knucklehead tightened and skewed the piece on incorrectly. Once removed it was determined that the replacement shower cartridge I bought (not being able to see through walls I bought what goes with the current model, mine was an older one). He tried to fix the existing one, but to no avail. He went to try to get the part locally, but only one half (this model has two pieces instead of most that have one cartridge). Tried to see if installing that would fix the issue but it needed the other half because water was still not adjustable. He ordered it and said he would come back when it was in.

He got the part the next day, came to install the following morning and got everything back up and running perfectly. The price was on target with the original quote, but extra to cover the unexpectedly purchased parts. This was a fantastic experience where it pays to have straightforwardness, experience and efficiency doing a job - especially valuable traits when it comes to plumbing. I would not hesitate to call Tom's again and plan to soon with some other projects I have in mind. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had a slow leak that was difficult to diagnose so I called Hub on a Tuesday and made an appointment for Thursday.  The cost was $50 to show up.  Angelo diagnosed a faulty faucet and told me where to buy a new faucet on line to save money and showed up the next week to install the faucet.  He did an excellent job and maybe I'm being naive but labor cost of $325 for the 30/45 minutes it took to install the faucet seems a bit pricey.

Chris did a great job with fixing a valve on my boiler. He took his time to explain how it works and what he needed to do. No further issues. Price quote was fair and accurate. I would absolutely use Intrepidus again.

Found Top Pro Plumbing via yelp.  I needed a pipe in the basement fixed that had developed a leak.  Benny responded very quickly on yelp.  We set up a time to meet and he came and gave me a free estimate.  It was fair and very reasonable so we set up to do the work the next day.   Benny called and showed up on time and the pipe was changed quickly with no surprises.  I am setting up an appointment now for other plumbing work that needed to be done that I had been putting off.  Thanks, Benny!

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! I came home on a Friday evening to a broken water heater and a damp basement. Given all of the phased openings and general uncertainty around Covid-19 my family expected cold showers until Monday at least I launched a request for quotes either way.

Tom and Fred responded to my request almost immediately! Then I had to re-read the message several times because I could not believe they would be available for this job Saturday morning (the very next day)! But it gets better, they showed up early! It's early Saturday AM, we have a fantastic new water heater, cleanly installed and the old water heater has been carted away. I can't say enough about Serve-Well, hire this team with confidence!

Technician came to do estimate for moving pipes in kitchen for kitchen remodel.  Husband fielded inquiry. Technician said he'd contact us with an estimate... That was two weeks ago.

I called a week ago, spoke with a girl in the office who said the tech would return my call.  Still waiting.

Needless to say I never got my estimate.

I had an issue with installing a bidet toilet seat because our bathroom setup was irregular. GG Plumbing suggested the part that would fix the issue. This was after I already tried to ask many other plumbing companies for solutions to no avail. I even went to a plumbing supply store but that didn't help either. Thanks to GG Plumbing, I was able to install the toilet seat with minimum cost. Even though I didn't need for GG to come help, his quoted price was also much more reasonable than the other plumbing companies I reached out to.

We recently had an issue with needing a sign-off and he responded immediately.

Chris helped me out QUICK, FAST, and in a HURRY! I was experiencing a water leak coming from my water heater that turned into another leak created from one of the valve's due to the pipes being so out-dated. The leak was to heavy and needed to be fixed immediately. I gave chris a call and he stopped by and evaluated my problem. He was able to diagnose and give me suggestions as to what my options were. I trusted his judgement and continued the job with him. I'm about 15-20 mins he had fixed my pipes and stopped the leak. I was amazed and grateful. I was able to use my water and heat my house again. I had a very mixed experience with these guys. Manny and his helpers seemed like nice enough guys initially. The TL;DR is that they wired the system incorrectly which resulted in a lot of wasted heat and potential damage/wear to a brand new boiler. Manny also wasn't shy about squeezing an exorbitant amount of money from us (far beyond his quote over the phone) and then taking a really aggressive tone with my wife when she rightfully expressed concern about the unexpected cost.

They came to the rescue over the Christmas holidays when my hot water heater sprang a leak. They installed the new hot water maker and connected all of the plumbing just fine. However, the electrician they sent (which they made me pay separately) didn't know what he was doing and wired the aquastat on the hot water maker (which is indirectly heated from the gas boiler) to fire up the boiler whenever it needed to make more hot water. The result was that every time someone would take a hot shower, the boiler would have to fire on full blast to circulate enough hot water to the hot water maker and everyone in the house would bake because the boiler would also make steam as a byproduct that overheated the house. The correct way to wire it would've been to wire the aquastat to turn on the pump to bring in the hot water from the boiler to the hot water maker. Something that wouldn't be rectified until more than a year later by a more knowledgeable plumber. But what really soured our experience with Manny was the way we were aggressively squeezed for a lot more money than was initially quoted. Anyhow, we finally have a plumber we can trust so we count ourselves fortunate.

Plumbing emergency is not cheap, But the perfect job makes it less painful. We definitely use them again.

wow - what an unprofessional company.  Tried calling over and over and someone answers the phone and hangs up on you.  Nice.  Dont' bother with sending emails - they never answer them.  How does this plumbing company stay in business - I wouldn't trust them with my pipes - keep looking and find a better company.

Nush is professional, decent, and incredibly knowledgeable. He is also, most importantly, trustworthy. 4 months ago I was installing a new bathroom and he came to put in the rough in valves. I told him I'd like him to come back after I finished the tiling to put the fixtures on the valves and he agreed. I paid him the entire amount up front. 4 months later I texted him to tell him the bathroom was ready for him to put in the fixtures. The only experience I had with him was back in November and frankly I was iffy on whether he would bother to come back. He did. Not only did he do that, but when I asked him to install my toilet, he quoted me, started putting it in and then pointed out a problem that meant I actually needed to replace the toilet. He could have just installed it, pocketed the money and been on his way but instead he told me he'd come back to install it after the new toilet arrived, and you know what? I believe him.

He's my go-to guy now. If he's busy, I'll wait until he's free. He's that good.
