Immediately on my first phone call they were concerned about my problem and about me not having to waste money on a service I don't need.  Then Victor came out and spent twice as much time cleaning and troubleshooting as anyone else ever has and at a faaarrr better price.  I highly recommend them!!!! And will be using them for all of my plumbing projects.

I placed a call to Safeway at 2pm because my bathroom drain was very slow. They told me they would be there by 6 pm. Well Javier showed up at 4:45 pm. He was beyond punctual and that was a plus for me. He was very respectful and had on a mask. He was able to clear the drain for us. He did tell us that our pipes probably need to be replaced due to corrosion.  The price he quoted over the phone didn't change. The service was excellent. I highly recommend Safeway. A part in our boiler system was starting to go bad, occasionally making sharp noises and leaking lubricating oil. We used Yelp's Projects feature to look for contractors to help us resolve this situation. I added a picture of the part making unusual noises to my Yelp project request to provide some detail about the situation.

Tom's Plumbing & Heating Services responded first. From my photo, Justin identified my malfunctioning part as the circulator pump, and after a few questions confirming that nothing else was wrong, Justin recommended that the circulator pump be replaced. He provided two options for circulator pumps, along with web links and total costs for each option, and a web link to my existing circulator pump for reference. I selected a pump with horsepower equivalent to my existing pump. The cost of all parts that Justin referenced were roughly equivalent on Amazon.com.

Other vendors requested a complete picture of the boiler system, or had initial consultation fees.

The service visit totaled roughly 90 minutes. In that time, Justin:
- Replaced the boiler drain valve because it hasn't been used in many years and no longer worked
- Drained my boiler
- Installed the new circulator pump
- Bled (i.e., removed air from) most of my radiators. Justin emphasized the importance of bleeding the radiators, as air in the system reduces the boiler's efficiency.
- Demonstrated how to override the water pressure regulator in case of insufficient system pressure.
- Pointed out other potential points of failure to monitor in the boiler system -- the water pressure regulator and expansion tank.

Overall, we were very happy with the service provided.

Picture a mortifying situation: you're the new person at your new job and you go #1 (pee) at the bathroom at work and don't do anything unusual and the toilet backs up and clogs. I wanted to crawl under a rock.

Much to my relief, the toilet issue was already a known issue.

Mind you, I work at a nice/upscale store that is connected to a residential building. We have one bathroom for employees and customers. We need it fixed ASAP but the building super says he doesn't have the right tool and no he doesn't think the plumber would be able to come on such short notice.

Bruno of BK Plumbing was the first to answer. The other two plumbers did answer but Bruno was certainly the most helpful and professional. I got the feeling from
Speaking to him that he was serious about fixing this plumbing problem ASAP and that he would show up and make me look good to my boss.

Look no further.  These guys are the real deal.  I put a service request in online for the office kitchen sink which had a leak and was clogged for about a week. ( Porter was getting to it).   I got a call back within 5 minutes.  Christian called me to set up an appointment for 10-12 (it was 9:15am). Dominik showed up less than an hour later.  He was pleasant, thorough and left everything clean afterwards.  He went through pricing with me for approval before just handing me the bill. Found Top Pro Plumbing via yelp.  I needed a pipe in the basement fixed that had developed a leak.  Benny responded very quickly on yelp.  We set up a time to meet and he came and gave me a free estimate.  It was fair and very reasonable so we set up to do the work the next day.   Benny called and showed up on time and the pipe was changed quickly with no surprises.  I am setting up an appointment now for other plumbing work that needed to be done that I had been putting off.  Thanks, Benny!

It was great working with Donna and Fred. We recently did a oil-gas conversion for our home. It is a long process due to all the paperwork but Donna helped us walk through the process. She is responsive and ready to help, via email or phone. Con edison is difficult to work with but Serve-well team will help you throughout.

Had great experiences both times I've scheduled plumbing work with WaterMac. Very professional and reliable. They charge 60$ for an in person price quote, which is waived if you decide to get the work done with them. After getting several price quotes for the work I needed, the pricing seems very reasonable. I love that they give detailed price quote in writing before work is done. It's been difficult to find this kind of transparency with other plumbing companies I've hired in the past. Definitely recommend.

I had an issue with installing a bidet toilet seat because our bathroom setup was irregular. GG Plumbing suggested the part that would fix the issue. This was after I already tried to ask many other plumbing companies for solutions to no avail. I even went to a plumbing supply store but that didn't help either. Thanks to GG Plumbing, I was able to install the toilet seat with minimum cost. Even though I didn't need for GG to come help, his quoted price was also much more reasonable than the other plumbing companies I reached out to.

He has a master plumber license and that means he can get things done directly with Department of Buildings.  Uptown property owners needing to find a good plumber should seek him out.

Kris came over with a quick response and was able to fix my leaky faucet right away. The service was speedy and would definitely call again for plumbing issues. The speedy response was the most important factor as I tried fixing it myself and ended up making it unusable.

I either had to spend more money on buying dinner for my family or just spending it to get the faucet fixed and eating a delicious home cooked meal. I obviously chose the latter

My boiler was not working. I had a company come out and say that it was so old and carbonized the best bet was to replace it.  I called other companies who either refused the work of attempting to fix and clean or suggested a full replacement. Upon recommendation of my realtor, I called Franco Belli Plumbing.  I spoke with the manager there, Manny, who after seeing photos of my boiler, insisted he could fix the boiler.  And fix it he did! Manny knows what he is doing, he's like a boiler artist, a Mozart of heating systems. He just gets it. My boiler is up and running perfectly, and judging from the way it looked on the inside before and after - is running even better than it was before.  Such fair pricing as well, after a lot of researching and calling around - Manny did this amazing work and saved me from using another company and their easy way out of installing an entire new boiler at $5K when I could get another 10 years out of this one. Don't hesitate to call Franco Belli Plumbing & Heating!  Manny is the best!

I've used Waterhouse twice when my old 1920s bathroom had issues that I couldn't resolve on my own. When you need a plumber, it's always an emergency, and they respond in a timely manner, and once they even came on the weekend. They care about doing good work, and have even replaced old valves in my apartment that are clearly above and beyond the scope of the work that I had called them out for.

When you look for people to service aspects of your home, you never know who's going to be good and who you can trust, but I've found my plumber!

Have done several jobs for my apartment which has some very old and unusual plumbing issues.  They have done excellent work and I highly recommend them. Were able to accommodate to do the work on my schedule (evening) and charged very fair price for the work done.  Honest, fair and efficient.

Rusty did the job no one else could! We had been trying to find a plumber to replace a very old toilet in the house. Previous plumbers said they would have to rip open the whole wall to complete the job. Rusty came and completed the job quickly, efficiently and with minimal mess. Highly recommend!!

John came in to fix my kitchen sink by replacing the piping and putting in the faucet. He was communicative about his eta and was efficient in his work. The price was fair compared to other quotes I got and I could tell this is an honest company.

Marinel was an excellent plumber with whom to work. Very professional, fast, easy to schedule with, and very true to his word. The overall experience couldn't have moved more smoothly. I had a water heater die mid-day, and Marinel had the new water heater installed the following morning first thing. Beautiful plumbing work too for the new unit, which was larger than the previous unit and required some reworking of the pipes. Highly recommend!
