Immediately on my first phone call they were concerned about my problem and about me not having to waste money on a service I don't need.  Then Victor came out and spent twice as much time cleaning and troubleshooting as anyone else ever has and at a faaarrr better price.  I highly recommend them!!!! And will be using them for all of my plumbing projects.

Had a clogged kitchen sink drain. Asked for a request from Yelp, response was nearly immediate. I called the number and spoke with Mike (mechanic). He was super nice/helpful even though I'd not gotten the office directly. Said I'd call back when I was sure. Chose them out of the bunch. He was here in an hour and done in 15 minutes. No mess, cleaned up after himself and was, for lack of a better term, very easygoing and positive. Great experience and great results. Adding the number to my contacts for future services.

I called at least 10 companies and Tom was the only one who picked up and was willing to come out the same day.  Other companies either didn't pick up or wanted pictures of the pipes in the ceiling or some other excuses, but Tom picked up and came over quickly.  

Another heating pipe plumber could have changed pipes to make money, but Tom diagnosed the issue as being a boiler part that needed to be cleaned and he changed a steam valve that was leaking and everything is working perfectly now.  

I'm so glad that of all the plumbers I called that Tom was the guy I got through to because he did EXCELLENT, COST-EFFICIENT work.  I recommend him 100%.

Showed up in less than 40 minutes and sorted my issue in less than hour. Fast, efficient, and reasonable rate. Would definitely use Bruno again!

Rich came to my apartment in Gramercy Park and was able to quickly clear a clog in one of my building drainage lines that was causing a backup in my kitchen sink as well as my upstair neighbor's.  He was professional throughout the visit and I really appreciated that he took the time to clean the work area afterwards.  It was extremely messy and dirty as you can imagine if you have ever seen the gunk that come out of drains.  My only gripe and it is a small one was that he showed up about an hour late because of a scheduling mix-up.  That said, John was helpful in returning my calls to Hub's office to let me know Rich was on his way.

As several other reviewers have said, Hub charges a fair price (by NY standards) for good quality work and customer service, which I wholeheartedly agree with.  They are my new go to plumbers and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and co-workers.

After they Came, not even five minutes, they charged $325.00 just 5 minutes service fee. Totally not fair just turn on the boiler fire. Total rid off. Not even tell me a advance. I has same service before with other company. The standard charge is $100.00. I understand he made the service, unless pls be reasonable.....

My bathroom faucet needed to be replaced and they were very efficient and responded to my service request quickly. I would definitely recommend them for any plumbing needs and I would definitely use them again in the future.

Asked for a quote early in the morning and was able to schedule service that same morning. The whole process was seamless from start to finish. They are very professional!

I had an issue with installing a bidet toilet seat because our bathroom setup was irregular. GG Plumbing suggested the part that would fix the issue. This was after I already tried to ask many other plumbing companies for solutions to no avail. I even went to a plumbing supply store but that didn't help either. Thanks to GG Plumbing, I was able to install the toilet seat with minimum cost. Even though I didn't need for GG to come help, his quoted price was also much more reasonable than the other plumbing companies I reached out to.

We recently had an issue with needing a sign-off and he responded immediately.  

He has a master plumber license and that means he can get things done directly with Department of Buildings.  Uptown property owners needing to find a good plumber should seek him out.

As a new home owner, finding dependable contractors is one of the hardest things to do. With Kris I have absolutely found an extremely dependable plumber. We have used his services several times for various plumbing issues and every time he has been helpful, courteous, and accommodating. At this point i have recommended him to family and friends and have no hesitation to continue to recommend him.

As I sat in a hair salon waiting for my wife to be done I observed a plumber greet an employee with a courtesy not often seen. He was clean and unobtrusive as he did his job without intruding on customers. The respect and quality of work, especially professionalism,  is what will prompt me to request Stratos for any needs that may arise in my houses.

SKETCHY. Went way over quote, didn't know about the coupon on YELP when I tried to redeem it, changed the final price several times. Did an incomplete job and had to come back two weeks later but then pretended like he wasn't the same guy who came the first time.

I had a very bad experience with them. My wife called them to remove our drain from the tub, something very simple for a plumber. They told us on the phone that its $85 for the call and if additional services needed, the guy would tell us in advance. The guy came and it took him about 15 minutes of work to complete the job. Only then, I was told that the job would cost $320!!!
I later found out that this did not even include taxes and they actually billed us $348!! That was after he completed the job and not before like I was told.
Needless to say, my wife and I felt completely manipulated by these people. Quite a trick they have. I would have never agree to pay that much if I knew at the beginning that this would be the cost.

I had a guy that was willing to do the job for a $100, flat. I should have gone with him.

I hope my story will be a warning for the rest of you.

Called to have a toilet unclogged. Plumber arrived the same day and was finished in less than an hour. He reassured me the toilet would not clog again, and if I have any issues he would return to fix them. Highly recommended!

Responsive and easy scheduling. I was able to get a quote right away and pricing was more than fair compared to many other comparing businesses. The job was done quick, well and our toilet and bathroom was left in a clean condition. Thank you!

Nush is professional, decent, and incredibly knowledgeable. He is also, most importantly, trustworthy. 4 months ago I was installing a new bathroom and he came to put in the rough in valves. I told him I'd like him to come back after I finished the tiling to put the fixtures on the valves and he agreed. I paid him the entire amount up front. 4 months later I texted him to tell him the bathroom was ready for him to put in the fixtures. The only experience I had with him was back in November and frankly I was iffy on whether he would bother to come back. He did. Not only did he do that, but when I asked him to install my toilet, he quoted me, started putting it in and then pointed out a problem that meant I actually needed to replace the toilet. He could have just installed it, pocketed the money and been on his way but instead he told me he'd come back to install it after the new toilet arrived, and you know what? I believe him.

He's my go-to guy now. If he's busy, I'll wait until he's free. He's that good.

We had an appointment window of 11a to 3p and called repeatedly, someone shows up at 8p.  We called to have a bathroom faucet replace and they wouldn't give any pricing over the phone - said we would get it on site. When the plumber got here, he quoted us $450 and said it was a 30 minute job. This is outrageous pricing for 30 minutes or work (in addition to all of the extra waiting time). We said no way and sent them away.
