The technician was very polite and he was able to clean the kitchen drain within 20 minutes when another company trayed to open the drain and was not able for over 30 minutes. Hired for a video inspection and cleaning / snake of main sewer line - team was responsive, pricing was competitive and the service was great. Pete and Javier were punctual, took their time, answered all of our questions and got the job done.  Exactly what I needed, when I needed it. Would recommend.

I put in a project request last night and within 15 minutes Luigi responded to me and asked me to give him a call. We agreed on a time for this morning and a man named Miguel came over and fixed our problem within 30 minutes! He was so nice and explained very well what the issue was and he was very honest about what he can for the most affordable solution and we appreciated that very much.
We would definitely be using L&C again and will specifically ask for Miguel!!!

Spoke to Tom at approximately 10am explained the issue we were having with our toilet. He arrived by noon.  Toilet was fixed by 12:15pm.  We will definitely call him again.  He was a pleasure to deal with.

Had a shitstorm of a problem with the boiler in my loft on Vestry. Called in two guys, wasted time and hundreds of dollars.  Few days later, still no hot water. From the moment John came in, we felt totally confident he was going to be on it. He came in on estimate, fixed, boom, done. Great experience and a few laughs too, which was definitely an added bonus cos I was pissed as hell at that point. Not angling for martyrdom because of crappy NYC plumbers, forgive the pun. Highly recommend.

I am in the middle of a total basement demolition and renovation in my 100-year-old row house. The plumbing inside the walls and the drain pipe in the cement ground for a small shower were an ancient mess. I hired Chris from Intrepidus to work with my contractor to reconfigure various pipes so they would be nicely aligned and tidy before the drywall goes up. In particular Chris completely re-routed the water supply lines and installed the shower rough-in valve and the shower pan base. Chris problem-solved some issues with the valve and with the leveling and stability of the shower pan. He worked well with my contractor. His rates were reasonable. He's also a friendly guy and a fun, positive presence in a frustrating construction site. I'll definitely contact Chris again for future plumbing and heating issues in my home.

Called and an appointment was given for a specific date and time.  Plumber never showed up and no one even bothered to call to cancel.  Kept me waiting, wasting valuable time.

I needed a code related plumbing problem corrected so I could sell the house.  They came quickly, fixed the problem in a very tight space, and cleaned up extremely well.  It wasn't cheap but no plumbing problem is nowadays.  It was worth the money to get the problem fixed.

I had an issue with installing a bidet toilet seat because our bathroom setup was irregular. GG Plumbing suggested the part that would fix the issue. This was after I already tried to ask many other plumbing companies for solutions to no avail. I even went to a plumbing supply store but that didn't help either. Thanks to GG Plumbing, I was able to install the toilet seat with minimum cost. Even though I didn't need for GG to come help, his quoted price was also much more reasonable than the other plumbing companies I reached out to.

We recently had an issue with needing a sign-off and he responded immediately.  

He has a master plumber license and that means he can get things done directly with Department of Buildings.  Uptown property owners needing to find a good plumber should seek him out.

Called Kris up concerning backed up sewer line as well as installing new vanity and toilet in master bathroom.  Came the next day and service was quick and professional.  Pricing was very fair.  I have lived in my house for 32 years and finally found a contractor I can trust!  Highly recommend MKC Plumbing.

It was right before Xmas and it was hard to get anyone to come so quickly. They did an excellent job for a very fair price.
So when his apt. had another issue we called them and they spent 3.5hrs and did a fantastic job. This was the first time we had direct experience with them.
They solved a very complex blockage problem between the washing machine in the bathroom and the kitchen drain in the next room. They really kept at it until they figured the root cause and then they fixed it.
I cannot recommend Larry and his partner highly enough. Trustworthy, competent and experienced. They also cleared up very well.

I had a good experience with Bargain Plumbing.  I was helping out my friend's aunt who owns an apartment in Brooklyn.  My friend was out of town, so I helped out.  Bargain Plumbing came out, were on time, the technician was friendly, worked fast, but efficiently and gave what I thought was a fair price.  They didn't leave much of a mess either.  A good experience!

so i have my main line clogged and needing cleaning. no experience with what that should cost so i put out an open request on yelp for estimates along with a basic description of the problem. i've gotten 16 replies in the last hour or two, every single one of them with a price for main line cleaning or at least a price range as well as an invite to discuss the problem further over the phone with it being obvious that they read my request and understood what my problem was.

except THIS company. all i got from them was a generic hi, if you're interested in a consultation or quote please contact us at ect ect... nothing about my specific problem, nothing about a price range, just a spam email that could have been sent to anyone with ANY plumbing problem. Are you kidding me ? there is zero chance in HELL i'm hiring someone who just spams every request for an estimate on yelp with the same generic email. or who is possibly too damn stupid to figure out what the word estimate means.

I called John at about 11pm on a Tuesday night with an overflowing sewer in my cellar. He first diagnosed the problem over the phone and offered me advice on how to attempt to mitigate the problem myself. Unfortunately, I needed a pro, and John was the right guy for the job. He was on site within an hour (coming all the way to north Brooklyn from Staten Island), and worked quickly and professionally, solving the problem and making recommendations on how to prevent a future recurrence. He was careful to protect the surrounding area and clean up any mess after he was done. His rates were also straightforward and very reasonable. Although I hope I never need emergency service again, if I do... My first call is going to be to John

Marinel was an excellent plumber with whom to work. Very professional, fast, easy to schedule with, and very true to his word. The overall experience couldn't have moved more smoothly. I had a water heater die mid-day, and Marinel had the new water heater installed the following morning first thing. Beautiful plumbing work too for the new unit, which was larger than the previous unit and required some reworking of the pipes. Highly recommend!
