Good service. They know what they are doing and they are very nice and friendly. Also gave me useful advice. price is also very fair. I am very satisfied.
Only thing to complain is that they told me they would be here around 1230pm and they arrived after 4pm. I can wait till that time, but it would be better to let me know at the beginning so I can better plan my day.

These guys were easy to work with. We scheduled everything over email. They were on time and worked quickly. The price was in line with other offers. The work was to replace the wax ring under my toilet. It's been a month and everything is in working order.

I called Mike of thesewerguyinc.com aka L & C Sewers and Drains late in the morning a couple of days ago. I had already hired two different plumbers who had tried and failed to clear a sewage line from a kitchen sink, and dealt with two other plumbers who strung me along and then dropped me before ever showing up so I was getting pretty stressed out.  Mike and I talked briefly about the problem and he told me he'd get someone over there in the early afternoon, and that he felt confident that his guy Giovanni would succeed where others had failed.  Because of some challenges his guy had at the first job, he ended up coming later than expected, but there was pretty good communication, so it wasn't such a big deal. Mike ended up coming with the other guy Giovanni and with an arsenal of plumbing snakes, cameras, and other tools to get the job done. After a couple of unsuccessful first attempts to clear the line, he told me that he was the best person for the job because he was committed to figuring out a solution, and that he wouldn't give up until he succeeded. After four false starts with other plumbers, I loved hearing that!  He suggested several possible last resort measures he could take but ended up going with something much less costly and that didn't require opening any walls. He charged me a reasonable fee, was very pleasant to deal with, and cleaned up well before he left. I recommend this business 100%. I feel so glad to have found them.

BLUF: Knowledgeable, straightforward, efficient, courteous, expensive.

A part in our boiler system was starting to go bad, occasionally making sharp noises and leaking lubricating oil. We used Yelp's Projects feature to look for contractors to help us resolve this situation. I added a picture of the part making unusual noises to my Yelp project request to provide some detail about the situation.

Tom's Plumbing & Heating Services responded first. From my photo, Justin identified my malfunctioning part as the circulator pump, and after a few questions confirming that nothing else was wrong, Justin recommended that the circulator pump be replaced. He provided two options for circulator pumps, along with web links and total costs for each option, and a web link to my existing circulator pump for reference. I selected a pump with horsepower equivalent to my existing pump. The cost of all parts that Justin referenced were roughly equivalent on Amazon.com.

Other vendors requested a complete picture of the boiler system, or had initial consultation fees.

The service visit totaled roughly 90 minutes. In that time, Justin:
- Replaced the boiler drain valve because it hasn't been used in many years and no longer worked
- Drained my boiler
- Installed the new circulator pump
- Bled (i.e., removed air from) most of my radiators. Justin emphasized the importance of bleeding the radiators, as air in the system reduces the boiler's efficiency.
- Demonstrated how to override the water pressure regulator in case of insufficient system pressure.
- Pointed out other potential points of failure to monitor in the boiler system -- the water pressure regulator and expansion tank.

Overall, we were very happy with the service provided.

This company came in and made quick work out of the job. I had to two install two toilets and one sink and they were done within an hour and a half. They were very clean, super professional, wore a mask and kept their distance. I requested a quote from a couple different people and his price was very fair and reasonable. I would hire this company for literally anything and will continue you to do so.

Never in my life have I been more impressed than when I witnessed the tag-team plumbing duo that was John and Rich.

Picture this: At roughly 4pm on a Friday afternoon, I received a frantic call from my beautiful wife screaming and crying that something horrible happened and she didn't what to do. As a reference, imagine if you will, the scene from Anchorman when Will Ferrell's character is screaming into the phone that Jack Black's character had just kicked his dog Baxter into the Pacific Ocean while his co-workers disparately try to explain that Christina Applegate was about to read the news, to understand the level of hysteria my wife was suffering. After spending a few moments calming her down, I finally learned that she had accidentally dropped her $35000 wedding ring down the sink! (Oy vey!) Luckily for us, I knew just who to call. John Wood, of HUB Plumbing and Mechanical had done work for several of my Father's properties throughout the city and I knew that he would be the one to fish out my lovely haphazard wife's ring from the bowls of that dastardly sink. I was nervous that no one would answer when I called given that it was so close to quitting time but Mr. Wood, himself, picked up the phone within two rings. I quickly explained to him what had happened and he assured me that everything would be okay and said that he would be right over. It wasn't until a few minutes afterward that I realized in my rushed explanation/plea for assistance, that I hadn't even told him who my father was.

I caught a cab home and within 5 minutes of me arriving, Mr. John Wood and Mr. Rich Collazo appeared at the door looking as sharp and professional as any of my coworkers at Goldman Sachs, well other than the fact that they weren't wearing $5000 tailored suits but really, nobody would wear $5000 suits to do plumbing in. That's just stupid. Anyway, I wondered why they had sent two people for what I thought would be an easy and routine job and I started to become suspicion that it was because they knew I was not home when I called and were going to try and make the job seem bigger than it was to overcharge my frantic wife.  

I knew this didn't seem in line with how my father told me Mr. Wood ran his business but my suspicion got the best of me so I pulled him aside to find out what was going on while Mr.  Rich Collazo worked to get the ring out. Well, let me tell you! Was I embarrassed when Mr. John Wood explained to me that he lived in the neighborhood and decided to come along with Mr. Rich Collazo to help calm my wife down while he worked. I apologized profusely for ever doubting HUB plumbing and slowly sulked away...

After that embarrassing incident, I went to talk to Mr. Rich Collazo who is a delightful person born and raised in Brooklyn. He told me that he started working for HUB after he had met Mr. Wood via craigslist where they started a Hardcore band, whatever that is. Mr. Rich or Chepho as he is known to his friends quickly, cleanly, and expertly retrieved my wife's ring and even took the time to clean it off afterwards. Now regardless, of whether or not my germaphobe wife was going to clean it again, it was a nice extra touch that meant a lot to me. As he was finishing up, he handed me the invoice, which to my surprise did not contain any kind of after hours call out fee. I know this was long, but I must say, HUB's prices were fair and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Found Top Pro Plumbing via yelp.  I needed a pipe in the basement fixed that had developed a leak.  Benny responded very quickly on yelp.  We set up a time to meet and he came and gave me a free estimate.  It was fair and very reasonable so we set up to do the work the next day.   Benny called and showed up on time and the pipe was changed quickly with no surprises.  I am setting up an appointment now for other plumbing work that needed to be done that I had been putting off.  Thanks, Benny!

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! I came home on a Friday evening to a broken water heater and a damp basement. Given all of the phased openings and general uncertainty around Covid-19 my family expected cold showers until Monday at least I launched a request for quotes either way.

Tom and Fred responded to my request almost immediately! Then I had to re-read the message several times because I could not believe they would be available for this job Saturday morning (the very next day)! But it gets better, they showed up early! It's early Saturday AM, we have a fantastic new water heater, cleanly installed and the old water heater has been carted away. I can't say enough about Serve-Well, hire this team with confidence!

A very good friend and the only plumbers I would call and trust to work in my house without hesitation. The whole crew is responsive, respectful and does the job correct the first time.

I had an issue with installing a bidet toilet seat because our bathroom setup was irregular. GG Plumbing suggested the part that would fix the issue. This was after I already tried to ask many other plumbing companies for solutions to no avail. I even went to a plumbing supply store but that didn't help either. Thanks to GG Plumbing, I was able to install the toilet seat with minimum cost. Even though I didn't need for GG to come help, his quoted price was also much more reasonable than the other plumbing companies I reached out to.

We recently had an issue with needing a sign-off and he responded immediately.  

He has a master plumber license and that means he can get things done directly with Department of Buildings.  Uptown property owners needing to find a good plumber should seek him out.

After speaking to Kris on the phone I also HIGHLY recommend this company.   My family have decided all future plumbing concerns (particularly the larger scale and daunting repairs) will be address by MKC Plumbing.  I regret I did not find them sooner; in part because I did not appreciate the geographic span of their professional endeavors.

It is very rare to find a professional who understands that honesty and transparency are the indicated means by which long term customer loyalty is fostered.  Kris explained what my options were clearly and also discouraged me from realizing some alterations which would be counterproductive.  However, he always had an alternative solution in mind which included non-involvement in some cases.  The human integrity which characterizes his persona is as iron-clad as the guarantees which come from being licensed.  To say I was impressed and relieved I found such quality in New York would be an understatement.  Clearly, our politicians need to look to the small business owners (whose progress is sometimes hampered by draconian social and fiscal policies) for the moral compass direction lacking in the social fabric of our times.

Called them to take a look at low hot water pressure in our shower and bathroom and kitchen sinks. They sent two plumbers out.  They were courteous and professional, texted before they arrived, and did not waste time. Now my shower has plenty of hot water and the sinks have no issues as well. Has a positive experience,  would call again in the future.

I've used Waterhouse twice when my old 1920s bathroom had issues that I couldn't resolve on my own. When you need a plumber, it's always an emergency, and they respond in a timely manner, and once they even came on the weekend. They care about doing good work, and have even replaced old valves in my apartment that are clearly above and beyond the scope of the work that I had called them out for.

When you look for people to service aspects of your home, you never know who's going to be good and who you can trust, but I've found my plumber!

Genuinely the best plumbing service i have encountered in NYC.
I called them on Thanksgiving morning after having a leak in the kitchen, no attempts for insane charges due to the holiday. They arrived quickly did what they had to do and priced it fairly.

Shower was clogged from too much hair going down the drain.  I tried everything but need a profesh.  Rusty's was easy to text and had someone come the next day.  Service was fast, friendly and a good price.

We had a plumbing emergency and these folks couldn't have come faster or provided better service.

Quick and prompt service. We needed a gas line terminated and they were able to complete the job the very next day.

We had an appointment window of 11a to 3p and called repeatedly, someone shows up at 8p.  We called to have a bathroom faucet replace and they wouldn't give any pricing over the phone - said we would get it on site. When the plumber got here, he quoted us $450 and said it was a 30 minute job. This is outrageous pricing for 30 minutes or work (in addition to all of the extra waiting time). We said no way and sent them away.
