Steve is extremely responsive and very professional. We called him with a kitchen sink that seemed to have lost all water pressure. Steve was very busy, but committed to coming over the next day, which was better than the other 4 plumbers we called- 3 of which never returned our call.  At the last minute that day, he texted to say he was nearby and could come by, which we were thrilled about. He quickly figured out the problem with the sink (a rubber washer had broken apart into pieces blocking the water flow) and he was able to fix it. He was efficient in suggesting that he had an extra faucet in the car he could put in place for us, if needed. It turned out our faucet was a professional one, however, so if it indeed had been broken, we would have had to special order it. Steve is funny, fast, efficient, and made the whole stressful experience much less difficult.  We were lucky that he was able to come over quickly, and appreciate his quick responsiveness.  He is now our go-to plumber and we will definitely be calling him again.

Love them they saved us so much money all others said we needed a new water unit they fixed it! We have been using them ever since!

Called Darwin for a couple of problems we were having, the worst of which was a leaking toilet that was causing the entire floor of our bathroom to be flooded and leak down to the first floor. Darwin was very quick to become angry and seemed like he just wanted to be left alone to do his job. We left him alone to avoid creating a volatile situation, but had to push him to take a second and even third look at a sink he was supposed to fix that was still presenting the original problem he was asked to fix. The worst part though was paying Darwin a few hundred dollars in cash, with a tip, and going upstairs to a bathroom covered in plaster, finding that the toilet seat was broken, and that my floor was covered in water because the leak was still not fixed. As Darwin was walking out my door, he assured me that he would return should any problems arise. Fifteen minutes after he walked out, I asked him to come back and he refused, stating that he was done for the day. He claimed that he did not work Sundays and that he would return on Monday morning. Well, when I called him on Monday morning, he gave me a sob story about working all day Sunday and that he needed a day off. My very nice tone at this point changed to one of complete disbelief and upset. How dare he tell me that he doesn't work Sundays, only to end up doing what he referred to as emergency work and treat my completely unusable bathroom as something that's not so bad? On Saturday, Darwin had offered to refund me $175 out of $300, but when I took him up on that offer, he tried to offer me $150. Of course, I was not happy about this and insisted that the $175 and some of the tip be refunded to me since I have to call yet another plumber. After he agreed to come over (still waiting for him to arrive) and at least refund me my money, I found that the leaky tub and sink stopper he was also asked to fix are right back to where they were before he got here. Tub's leaking and sink stopper is not working. So, he just left and gave us $190 back for the toilet and an extra $70 for the tub and sink not working. He continued to argue and tell us we were the worst customers he has ever had and we assured him it hasn't been a joyride for us either. I was nice enough to let him keep $40 for gas, time and materials. I don't think he's a bad guy, I just think he's a bad plumber with an ego and a temper. So, my advice is this, if you meet Darwin at a bar or a party, feel free to say hello, but do not call him to fix anything in your house.

Mike came to work on my upstairs neighbor's toilet after it began leaking into my apartment.  He was available to come in the evening, so no one had to miss work, which was extremely helpful.  He arrived on time, got right down to the work at hand, and left the area clean and tidy.  He explained everything he was doing and was very polite and respectful.  He fixed the problem and guarantees his work.  His price seemed very reasonable to me. A++!

Haven't had a service appointment with them yet but Adam was incredibly quick to respond to my inquiry and that's hard to come by, also very much appreciated when you're having a heating/cooling issue in extreme temps. If his responsiveness is any indication of quality of service, I recommend Eco Airflow

Very responsive for a clogged shower drain. Came on time. And finished the job in 15 minutes. Price is reasonable.

It would be amazing if every contractor was like JCA Mechanical! First and foremost, communication with Justin was very easy and smooth. Even though it was the weekend, Justin responded promptly and courteously to every yelp message, text and phone call. Justin was patient and well-mannered with me while I shopped around for several quotes for replacing my leaking hot water tank. He was never once pushy, and I felt he respected me as a customer and tried his best to win the contract with integrity. He answered all my questions until I felt comfortable to commit.

Secondly, let's talk quality of work. Justin came in on Sunday morning earlier than stated, which I really appreciated. I'm tired of contractors giving me a call at the appointed time telling me they're running an hour late. Justin was timely, and although he was on his own due to the extremely short notice during the weekend, he finished the job in an hour and half, as he predicted. This man is a machine and really knows what he is doing. My dad likes to oversee contractors when they work on the house, and Justin engaged with him and answered all his questions respectfully and kindly while working his butt off. He's all around a good, sincere guy. Once he finished installing the tank, he insisted that we register the product to make sure we take advantage of the product warranty that we paid extra for. He offers his own labor warranty on top of that, but by the looks of it, I'm pretty sure we won't need to call Justin back. The job was very clean and well done.

Finally, Justin was extremely reasonable when it came to pricing. I was speaking to the five top-rated businesses in the area that install water heaters, and Justin - more than anyone else -actively communicated with me to understand my expectations and was willing to work with me on pricing. When all was said and done, he offered the best deal without any doubt. This is a guy who's genuinely not trying to rip you off, which is so refreshing. I recommend you take the time to chat with him before you commit, and, like me, you'll quickly feel that Justin is honest and reliable. I felt comfortable and reassured throughout the entire ordeal, and will definitely invite JCA back next time I have any sort of plumbing issues.

Capable, timely, professional.  Sadly, that makes this company rare among plumbers.  But kudos to them for being excellent.

I called this plumber to service our furnace for the winter from an internet reference and was glad I did. Not only did the technician routinely service our gas boiler, but found a pet that needed replacement and then thoroughly cleaned the unit. As a resultt, our heating system works like a charm.

This is a followup to my review of gas boiler installed by AJAX earlier this year.  On Thanksgiving day my dinner guests notice the house was getting colder. I checked the boiler and it intermittently was igniting but failing to turn on the burners. Since the AJAX boiler installation included a 3 year parts and labor contract I contacted Adam and left a voicemail message.  He returned my call within an hour and suggested a few actions but to no success. Adam made an appointment to visit me the next morning. He called me at 630am stating he was on his way to supply store he found open on the day after Thanksgiving.  By 730am Adam arrived and inspected the boiler. He determined the burner startup problem was caused by low gas pressure from utility company.  I contacted Utility company and several hours later they dispatched a tech and confirmed gas pressure into house was too low.  After increasing pressure the boiler kicked on and all was well.  Several months earlier Adam and his assistant also performed a tune-up which was covered in the 3 year contract.  Each visit Adam lived up to his word of providing professional, timely and quality service.

I called Zatos plumbing for the local law 152 gas inspection. They were quick to respond they did it on the same day and had it filed the following day. Highly recommend them.

Reliable, knowledgeable and extremely skilled.  I needed old cast iron pipes removed and replaced with newer PVC. Pappaceno Plumbing took care of it with care and ease. Would definitely recommend to others.

I had a fast leak in my tub and the tub was clogged the water was coming out at about 4 gallons every 5 minutes. I've heard of Roto Rooter, I've seen the $99 special that was posted online & I also saw that you guys also was offering a $60 coupon. And although one of my neighbors warned against me using Roto-Rooter service because of the high price, I needed a professional service. We scheduled online, waited a couple of hours for confirmation, and nothing. So I called myself and ask them when I can expect the technician because I spent the better part of the day scooping out water from my bathtub into my toilet to avoid a flood. I was called back and told that he would send someone over as soon as he had a technician available. We waited another couple of hours and finally the technician came. He wore a mask but nothing covering his work boots & I just cleaned my carpet from a the fire in my building last Wednesday that caused all this. He barely looked at anything and quoted me a price of $587 to just to snake the drain. I found that price to be exorbent and insultingly high just to remove a clog. I told him that is way too much money. I apologized for wasting his time and invited him out of my apartment. He then immediately offered to do the job for $300. Which was also too high, I again thanked him for his time and he then asked how much I was willing to pay. I told him the going rate in this neighborhood is $49.99 - $149.99 to clear a clogged drain. But since I was desperate I offered $200 if he can complete the job. He then went back downstairs to his truck and came back with an electrical auger one I had used myself to no avail, I thought he'd bring some big professional auger or other drain opening tool
Then proceeded to turn off the cold water from under the sink which started a leak under my sink. I scrambled to remove all my personal items from under the cabinet and please a bucket under that leak So now, I have an added repair to do. After he began, I tried to accommodate him by giving him something to drink since he said he was getting a headache do to the noise coming from the auger. I thought he would leave without finishing the job so I was trying to be pleasant and level headed. Although I was losing my patience by the minute. He sat there for about an hour and a half trying with that little electrical auger to clear the drain and then came out and told us he couldn't do it and started packing up his stuff. I ended up giving this guy a $40 tip just for the effort. Between my buildings handyman and this guy I wasted $80. I then called another company who unfortunately didn't have anybody until today. He sent his guy over who quoted me a solid price of $200 and an extra $100 if he had to open up my pipes which he didn't  he came up with a big industrial size auger and cleared the drain in 20-30 minutes. I still think it was pricey but it was an emergency and I was quoted a solid price without any games or surprises. I am very disappointed by the lack of integrity I was shown by your company. I should have been given a price over the phone or at least an estimate so I know what to expect. And as far as the $99 drain cleaning offer and $60 coupon I found to be all bait and switch gimmicks. Not cool for a company that's supposed to be completely professional, guarantees the job to be done, tries to shake down their customers in time of need, then leaves without completing the job. And creating extra problems to fix in addition to the already existing nightmare. Very disappointed

Ive been a customer since 2003. They are phenomenal. Someone is always in the office to take your calls 24/7. They respond immediately to emergency calls. Both their customer service and repair department go above and beyond to get it done. I highly  recommend them
