We had a live wire in our house that needed immediate attention and Peter was able to come by in just a few hours and repair what was needed to be fixed quickly and professionally. He's a very nice man who clearly knows what he's doing. I would recommend him as a handy man and jack of all trades to anyone. Thanks Peter!!

This place is professional, responsive and accountable.  I've worked with other plumbers who disappear on you, don't follow through, or are just never available when you really need them.  They do have a minimum service call fee, but it's pretty on par with what you'll pay for any plumber (maybe less).

Andy's Plumbing & Drain Services were incredible. They will be the only one I call for my plumbing needs in the future. Reasonably priced, professional, courteous, and most of all the work speaks for itself. If you are looking for a plumber in Brooklyn (or anywhere else they serve) I would 100% recommend hiring them. We had to have our water heater replaced in a rush. They provided honest and reliable service. They came on time, completed the job in a timely fashion and best of all they came in with the lowest bid.

Super awesome! Steve returned my call quickly, and he came over exactly when he said he would.  He took at the look at the small leak/hissing sound we had under our kitchen sink and immediately knew what was wrong.

He pulled the pipe out and fixed it,  he said that if it happens again it would be worth replacing just that portion of the pipe which he could do with a day's notice.

A very dependable plumber, would recommend him to my own friends so thought I should share with my Yelp friends!

It was on one of the coldest days, so I'm sure they were extremely busy, but they got the job done quickly and gave us tips on preventing the problem in the future.

My hot water heater was leaking and Infinite Comfort was able to come do an estimate as soon as I called. The technician Jermaine was very thorough and even pointed out that the water heater was not vented properly!  He also was able to triage and repair an HVAC issue I had been having for over a year that the company who installed my system couldn't even figure out! This is a great company. Very knowledgeable and provided great service! Will hire them for my next project!

Harry and co did great work upgrading our cellar half bath to a full bathroom. They handled several types of work including demo, electrical, a challenging plumbing upgrade to a nearly century old drain pipe, electrical, fireproofing, tiling and procuring/installing a custom shower partition. I've worked with a few contractors over the years and Harry had the best communication by far, keeping me in the loop for all of the important decisions. The finish work came out great and we're very happy

I wish I could give them 10 stars! I had a clogged toilet fiasco and legit thought I was gonna break my arm trying to unclog it. I reached out to them and Samantha was nothing but professional and accommodating. They really came through on a Sunday when everyone else was closed and/or unresponsive. Adonis showed up at scheduled time with his muscle and auger and went to work! Lol Problem solved! I can't recommend them enough.

I contacted Michael this third time because my kitchen faucet suddenly stopped working. One minute, I was using it and the next minute there was no water coming out. It turned out that after 13 years, the faucet had just run its course.

Just like the first two times I used Magic Drain, Michael responded promptly to my Yelp message and answered any questions I had prior to scheduling an appointment. He showed up in the time frame we discussed, and he was very efficient - finishing the install in approximately one hour.

My new faucet is going to take some getting used to (aesthetically, I liked the old one better, and it was solid brass), but for Michael's part, I'm satisfied with the service and would hire Magic Drain again.

The best!  Rates are a little on the high side but certainly worth it when you consider the quality.  The two plumbers who showed up were clean, careful, pleasant and professional which is important as you are letting them into your house.     I would not hesitate to recommend them for any plumbing needs you have.

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now.  The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen.  They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge.  No recurring problems.

Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store.  Guess that was a good sign.

Had a.really poor experience with ariel. I had a shower body installed by their plumber a year ago to have it fail on me this week. After calling and booking a plumber to come take a look at the issue today I was told the plumber would come this morning. After spending 7 hours at home today and 2 calls I still have no update. Really poor customer service. Where is the proactive follow up? Unreliable

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!  My building forced me to use them during my recent kitchen renovation and I regret it every day. The job was to move our kitchen gas line 12 to the right to accommodate our new kitchen lay out.

To start it took them 3 weeks to get me a quote for the job and that was after one no show for a scheduled appointment. When the estimate did come in it was twice what my contractor had quoted. I called and ask them to send me a more detailed quote as theirs only included a price with very little description. The man on the phone gave a response that could summed up as a verbal shoulder shrug.

When work was supposed to begin they did not show that day and did not notify me they would not be coming. There excuse was weather emergencies and that they were not taking on any new residential work. This happened two other times.

They finally showed at my apartment only to tell me that there was an incorrect permit for the job. At this point it had been well over a month since we first contacted them and two weeks from the start date they had told me. The job was finally completed two weeks after that, but no one called to notify me.

The final straw is that I just checked my credit card statement to find they ended up charging me over 3x the original quote. This was after I had requested a revised estimate multiple times and never received one. I'm seriously debating taking action with the BBB and will be putting a hold on the charge to my card until they can provide suitable documentation on why the cost was so much higher than the quote.

Overall this company lacks any sort of customer service and frankly has questionable business practices. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I would give them ZERO stars if Yelp allowed.

I called this company and it's a scam. They sent a so called repair person who didn't fix my leaking fridge he just took a blow dryer and melted ice. He came up with so many scenarios and at the end my fridge kept leaking. Their number is a Google number that changes and they told me to make a payment electronically on square space. Also promised me a 6month warranty. Obviously when I called they went MIA.!!!!!! Please do not fall for these scammers. They go by Gotham appliances or K.A.R. Check out the pictures of the repair guy he goes by the name Vicky. Now if they comment they will most likely say we don't know the guy (of course they will)....

Call these people if you want to get completely ripped off.
My tenant has called Roto Rooter because dishwasher didn't drain water, and the water was leaking.  The fix on the invoice was kitchen sink drain stopper clean.  Three trips.  Replaced the 2 Elbow waste pipe for kitchen.  For this, they have charged her $200 for parts and $732 for labor.  First, an elbow pipe cost $20 max, so that should have been $40 at most.  The job lasted an hour and 20 min, counting the time he had gone to park his car and to retrieve tools, which was treated as three trips on the invoice.  My tenant is a young woman with no knowledge of plumbing and has signed off on this without checking with me first.  When I called them, and spoke with the manager on this blatant abuse of pricing, his response was that this is their price and the tenant was willing to pay this.  Yes, I understand that they are free to quote whatever price they want to, and it was my tenant's own fault to get ripped off for not checking with other companies.  However, it is completely dishonest to take advantage of someone just because they didn't know what the going rate is for the type of service performed.  This job should not have cost more than $400 by a licensed plumber, and I'm counting higher because it is NYC.  For a similar job, I have paid $200 elsewhere.
I'm giving them 1 star because at least, the job was done correctly and the problem is solved. But Roto Rooter is never getting my business again.
