Peter's work is exceptional, we have used his services twice going on our third time tomorrow. Professional, prompt, and friendly! Highly recommended

Dorjan is knowledgable and quick. He helped me repair a leak to the input valve for a Toto toilet. Little pricey but better to get the job done right the first time. Would return for repeat work if needed, which is the ultimate sign of a job well done. Thank you!

Continental did an excellent job. I called them to clean out some of my drains. They were very accommodating, showed up on time, and were polite and neat. I Will definitely use them again.
1374 Stuyvesant Ave Union, NJ 07083
Great work from this company. I was very worried at the amount of work that would need to be done to my bathtub. The pipe under my bathtub was completely rotted. Dwight was on time and ready for the task. Very professional and knew what he was doing. Now I can take a shower in my apartment due to his work. Highly recommend this company!

Came out, clearly not interested in the project. Was sent by home depot to provide a quote, spent less than 5 minutes in the house and told me they wouldn't do the job unless it was bigger.
195-44 Jamaica Ave Jamaica, NY 11423
I needed my AC installed. Boris and Tseren did it quickly and very well! They were very kind and patient as well. Definitely recommend hiring them!
Brooklyn, NY 11228
Did an excellent job with restoring a vintage desk and repainting it, also with hanging artwork

I called S&B after a very bad experience earlier in the day with Luongo Plumbing (who happened to come highly recommended to us).
Here's the story:
It's the middle of winter and we find ourselves with no heat and negative temperatures on the horizon.
The previously mentioned guys came out spent about 5 mins looking at my furnace and said, You likely have a frozen pipe, there's nothing we can do. It's eventually going to burst, here's how to shut it off when it does and then call us to come fix it.
Then they left!
Having survived hurricane Sandy and living on the ground floor, we are no strangers to a flooded apartment but I couldn't believe there was no recourse and that I simply had to wait around until the inevitable burst and flood!
Was there no getting ahead of this?! I just had to wait till the damage was done?!
We decided a second opnion was in order! Off to Yelp for a search of other local plumbers... We decided to give S&B a try based on the good reviews here and other sites.
At around 5:15 pm I called and left a message. About 20 minutes later Steve called back and said he could come shortly. I was pleasantly surprised. I was thinking maybe I'd be lucky to get an appointment for the next day, let alone the same day!
He also told me there would be no charge for the service call unless any work was done. I was happy to hear that as other companies I had researched charged just to come out in addition to any work.
In less than 10 minutes he was at my door!
Right away he was so different from the other guys. He walked from room to room actually looked at all my heaters and the furnace, did some tests and even though he came to the same conclusion that it was likely a frozen pipe, he didn't give up there!
He kept a hose running and was trying some troubleshooting things. He also discussed what we could do to fix it before it burst, that they could try to thaw and repair any broken pipes rather then me waiting until they thaw and flood on their own.
I was happy to hear we could try a preemptive strike and not just wait until there's a puddle of water on my floor!
Luckily none of those scenarios happened because Steve was able to clear the line! He worked his magic and somehow was able to get it running! He said it was likely a partial freeze vs a solid freeze and was able to clear it out.
In the time he was here, he not only fixed my heater, but also gave me peace of mind that if he hadn't been able to get it running that night that there was still something he could do. There would be no just waiting until I have a flood with S&B!
Steve wanted to do everything to PREVENT me from having to go through all that and he did! He actually worked to resolve the issue rather than take the easy way out.
I am SO happy with the prompt, throuough, and professional service I recieved.
The cost was also very reasonable and less than most of the other places I researched. Though I would have paid more because the great service was worth every penny!
I was in a desperate and stressful situation and S&B bailed me out!
Next time they will be my first call!

Joe is the best. I had him replace a mini split system that kept breaking. I'm glad I got this taken care of before the heat of summer.
They installed a great quality unit with power and energy efficiency..
He was easy to schedule with, punctual, cleaned up as before and had the patience to answer all of my questions.
Thank you so much! I'm definitely recommending you to my neighbors.

Needed a local plumber to fix a plumbing issue that I had for weeks and found Patriot Plumbing & Heating information online. Contacted the company and spoke to Lorri who's extremely helpful and informative had provided a quick turnaround scheduled less than 24hours notices and completed the job within the hour. I highly would recommend to all as I would definitely be utilizing them on all future projects.

Wow. I don't really know how to explain how positive our experience with Fabio from Infinite Comfort was today. We are very, very happy with the service and price we received and we recommend Infinite Comfort to anyone who need HVAC work done.
Our Carrier central A/C unit is almost 20 years old (we're its third owner). We have lived here for 7 1/2 years and haven't serviced the unit at all (a mistake we will not continue!) The unit started making terrible noises in the evening five days ago, and then just stopped working later that night. It was a hot stretch, so I quickly did online research, made a few calls and had a service guy from a well-regarded company over to help us the next day. He spent a lot of time back and forth in and out of the house, explained a lot about the components of a central A/C system and how they work, and then told me our options. He said the unit was old (1999) and beyond the normal lifespan of such things. He said for sure our fan motor was bad, there might be a compressor issues he couldn't figure out right then, some bad electricals and possibly a clogged TXV down near the evaporation coils. He said we could use trial and error to replace parts in sequence over time to see which repair might fix the problem, but it would be expensive (as parts for old machine can be), time consuming and still not identify what if any repair might be the one or how long that repair would hold up on an old unit like this. The Internet told us that on average A/C unit last 10-15 years, so we decided to get estimates on replacement.
While waiting for our repair guy's company to send its replacement estimate I made appointments with a few others to come quote us prices. Fabio from Infinite Comfort was the first to arrive. He inspected our system, answered some questions about ducts, vents and airflow, and explained some add-on options we might want with the replacement (e.g., a better air filter unit, new humidifier, etc.). He then asked if we wanted him to check out our current unit just to see if he could figure out why it wasn't working.
He spent about 5-10 minutes pulling the unit apart and reconnecting all the parts the service guy had left disconnected. He tested a few things and told us the unit itself was older, but was a Cadillac. He said it needed a cleaning, but that he thought the only thing wrong with it was a bad fan motor, which he had on his truck. He a said no guarantees, but he was pretty sure that would fix it. About $600 rather than thousands. We said do it! About 5 minutes into that work, and Fabio came back in to tell us it wasn't the motor but rather than fan blade that was broken and that's why it wasn't turning or cooling the compressor properly. He called a local supply house, but it was after noon on a Saturday so they were closed. So Fabio studied the fan blade again for a minute, took it out to his truck, and FIXED the stupid thing!!! He said this old unit was high end when it was purchased, and was still durable for years if it was re-charged a bit and then maintained. So overall Fabio repaired our unit fan, he cleaned the filters and the unit itself, put about 3 1/2 lbs of freon in it (the older R-22, which he had on his truck) and added a leak sealant to the system because it took more Freon than he was expecting and we back online!!
Now we have a functioning A/C that has been cleaned and re-charged for the first time in who-knows-how long for about $700, instead of spending what was looking like $4,000 - $7,000 for a new unit sometime (hopefully) in the next month!!
You pray that you can find contractors and technicians that know what they're doing and treat you fairly. Sometimes you find them. Sometimes you don't. Fabio and Infinite Comfort are exactly that. If this unit ever does give out on us, they will have the replacement business from us without hesitation. If for some reason our unit completely fails in the next year, Infinite Comfort will give us 50% of today's bill as a credit towards any replacement we do through them.

Harry is THE MAN!
What makes Harry different is that he is a contractor WITH A BRAIN! He thinks on the spot and problem solves. If there is a pipe behind a wall that we weren't expecting to be there, he quickly figures out a great solution to ensure our original plans still work out.
We hired Harry and his team to do a gut renovation - merging two apartments into one on the upper west side.
It involved ripping out the old floor tiles, removing all walls, gutting a kitchen and turning it into a bathroom, redoing all electrical and plumbing, installing new wood flooring, custom building and installing all new closets, building all new walls, installing all custom doors and door frames, all electrical work and of course painting the entire place.
HARRY HAS FANTASTIC ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND CARES: No matter if it was about altering the design of a door frame to ensure it wouldn't crack down the line or anything minor, Harry cares and wants to make sure it is done properly and in a way that would make me happy to live there.
HARRY PUTS IN THE EXRTA EFFORT: As an example, he and his team carried 12 foot long pieces of wood up 10+ flights of stairs (wouldn't fit in the elevator) to ensure when the wood was installed, there would be less number of joints than if he had simply purchased 8 foot long pieces and used the elevator (which is what our last contractor did 5 years ago).
COMMUNICATION: Harry was always easily reachable on the phone and was on site a couple days each week. Whenever I told him I would be in to check on the place, he would be there and walk through with me.
TIMELINE: I gave Harry a challenge - gut renovate and merge two apartments to create a three bedroom, three bathroom apartment. Do it with great detail and everything was to be custom made, from the kitchen to the book shelves to the reading nook area, built-in office desk and all closets. Oh, and do it within 4 months... He did it. Despite the challenges of renovating during covid and having limits on the number of workers in the apartment, he managed to deliver on time. This is a testament to Harry's commitment to his clients, his dedication and accountability.
PAINTING: I haven't seen anyone paint like this before. Despite putting up all new walls, Harry had his team spend ~2 weeks compounding, sanding, flattening, and all over again, multiple times, so that each wall was as smooth as a baby's bottom. They also smoothed all my metal window frames that had ~40 years of paint layers built-up on them. Needless to say the final paint job came out really nice.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll post a number of pictures so you can see for yourself his final work.
Thanks for the great work to you and the team Harry
Regards
Ronnie

Had issues with my sewer. Adonis arrived and took care of the situation and explained everything from the beginning. It was pretty seamless. I will definitely use the service for anything that arise in the future.

My new plumber in union. Reasonable, affordable, and quality work. Thank you again Mike!

I don't know what John D. is talking about; I suppose nobody's perfect. But I've been using Wellbrock for eight years and they always treat me fairly, are responsive, and do great work. It's really nice to have a local, reliable plumber--Doug and Co. fit the bill.

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now. The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen. They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge. No recurring problems.
Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store. Guess that was a good sign.

We just needed to use Ariel Plumbing yesterday during our COVID quarantine, and their service was so on point, safe and efficient, a review was necessary. Had a major blockage in our single bathroom/bathtub. We were so nervous to need to call an outside plumber during this difficult time. We called Ariel services and they arrived within an hour. The plumber arrived with a mask, and gloves, and before he even entered, he requested that our family maintain their 6ft distance from him while he completed his work. His work was done quickly and efficiently and he left the bathroom in the same condition it was found. So thankful for their amazing service.

I wish I read the reviews before I asked my building super for a plumber. They must have an in with the building managers. If you are on YELP you have probably already been ripped off by this company. Beware this company!!! If your experience is anything like mine you will be very sorry you called them. They take your credit card before they show up and then they don't show and charge you!!!
I was charged for work that was no done bc they did not show up for the appointment! It was an active leak and if it wasn't for another plumber who fixed things in short order the apartment below me would have been flooded. Don't let your building manager let these people into your home for any reason. Not to give a bid and certainly not to do work!. Somehow they bill you through your building even after your credit card company credits you back for work not performed. I am furious!!!! Now I get to fight with my building manager and management company. This company is the worst! BEWARE!! They are crooks.

I called this company and it's a scam. They sent a so called repair person who didn't fix my leaking fridge he just took a blow dryer and melted ice. He came up with so many scenarios and at the end my fridge kept leaking. Their number is a Google number that changes and they told me to make a payment electronically on square space. Also promised me a 6month warranty. Obviously when I called they went MIA.!!!!!! Please do not fall for these scammers. They go by Gotham appliances or K.A.R. Check out the pictures of the repair guy he goes by the name Vicky. Now if they comment they will most likely say we don't know the guy (of course they will)....

Call these people if you want to get completely ripped off.
My tenant has called Roto Rooter because dishwasher didn't drain water, and the water was leaking. The fix on the invoice was kitchen sink drain stopper clean. Three trips. Replaced the 2 Elbow waste pipe for kitchen. For this, they have charged her $200 for parts and $732 for labor. First, an elbow pipe cost $20 max, so that should have been $40 at most. The job lasted an hour and 20 min, counting the time he had gone to park his car and to retrieve tools, which was treated as three trips on the invoice. My tenant is a young woman with no knowledge of plumbing and has signed off on this without checking with me first. When I called them, and spoke with the manager on this blatant abuse of pricing, his response was that this is their price and the tenant was willing to pay this. Yes, I understand that they are free to quote whatever price they want to, and it was my tenant's own fault to get ripped off for not checking with other companies. However, it is completely dishonest to take advantage of someone just because they didn't know what the going rate is for the type of service performed. This job should not have cost more than $400 by a licensed plumber, and I'm counting higher because it is NYC. For a similar job, I have paid $200 elsewhere.
I'm giving them 1 star because at least, the job was done correctly and the problem is solved. But Roto Rooter is never getting my business again.
