Unreliable.  This guy gave us a bid to do some electrical work on a rental property in Brooklyn.  We got it approved by the property owner, and then he bailed.  Never responded to calls and emails.  Left us hanging with a bid that we had to honor.

Had a great experience with Dorjan. He came on time, quickly got to the root of the issues with my shower, and charged a reasonable rate for the job. I'm glad to know I can count on him for future plumbing needs as they come up.

This place is professional, responsive and accountable.  I've worked with other plumbers who disappear on you, don't follow through, or are just never available when you really need them.  They do have a minimum service call fee, but it's pretty on par with what you'll pay for any plumber (maybe less).

Great work from this company. I was very worried at the amount of work that would need to be done to my bathtub. The pipe under my bathtub was completely rotted. Dwight was on time and ready for the task. Very professional and knew what he was doing. Now I can take a shower in my apartment due to his work. Highly recommend this company!

I called them about installing a tankless Combi water heater system and the man who came whose name was Ken told me that it would cost me $10,000.00 +. Can you imagine such a ripoff. I guess he thought that because I was black and a woman that he could get away with such an outrageous quote. No tankless Combi cost that much so be careful of this company for trying to rip people off.

I needed my AC installed. Boris and Tseren did it quickly and very well! They were very kind and patient as well. Definitely recommend hiring them!

Called them for a simple parts question, not even a service call.  The woman who answered was friendly and helpful, and referred me to a parts supply place in town, and even gave me there number and told me to speak to the owners.  As luck would have it, the parts supply place even happened to be on the same street as my condo.

These guys are awesome I called them last minute and they were able to accommodate me the next day they showed up with everything they needed included with a great price on a 24000 BTU ac. Can't wait for it to get hot out so I can turn my huge apt in to a walk in cooler.
Would highly recommend these dudes.

I had a great experience working with Fabio and his team at infinite comfort.  From the start Fabio was clearly very knowledgeable, authentic, and fair.  When I bid out the work Infinite Comfort had the best rate and the most professional team.  Once the work started, they were in and out in a very short time.  One thing that I particularly appreciated was Fabio's help in preventing cold air from escaping in the basement.  He insulated my ducts free of charge to help address this problem.  Overall I would recommend Fabio and Infinite Comfort based on both price and service.

Yes, a real 5-star review. Harry really is as good as people say. I needed a ceiling fan installed, and some tiles repaired in the bathroom. Harry came, quickly assessed the situation, laid out what the work entailed and provided a price. Followed up in a couple of hours with a formal quote, that laid out all the work that would be done (in detail, down to the painting, patching, grouting, everything - that way everyone knows what is getting paid for). He worked with my co-op board to get insurance paperwork taken care of, lead-paint riders, everything. I will be there at 9am on Monday. And 9am on Monday he is there, I go off to work, throughout the job he's in touch with me to let me know what's happening and with any questions.

Now here's the bit that really makes him great: the fan had a defective motor controller. He called the manufacturer and they shipped a new one. I'm thinking, Great, so now I have to pay for the electrician to come back. Nope - the new part came, the electrician came and fitted it. Didn't work. Ordered a new part. The electrician came again, fitted it, now it works. That's an additional 3 hours of work that I'm not charged for - Harry is a guy who takes the view that the job is done when it's done, and not before.

I would recommend him to anyone who needs a contractor - is he the cheapest? Probably not. But in this business you get what you pay for. And honestly, I would rather pay 10-20% more for a guy who I know does good work (I mean, he painted the whole ceiling after he installed the fan, I didn't want the patch to look different from the rest of the ceiling,), comes when he says, cleans up after himself, is polite, organised, and communicates. The lady in his office, Adrianna, is incredible - she is On The Case, she responds to emails quickly, you're never left thinking the guy's got my 50% deposit, is that the last I'm going to see of him?

Put it this way - I'm already thinking of more work that I can have done so I can get his guy's back here. You will not be sorry if you hire him.

never heard from them, so we found a contractors worker who was willing to do it for us that same day and he got a big Christmas gift as well.

I reached out via Yelp about a small leak, and Mike replied right away and was able to come out within 2 hrs to take a look. His price was fair, and I hired him to do the work. The job turned out to be a little more complicated than either of us figured, but he persevered through it and completed the job perfectly.
While we were working, he noticed and mentioned a gas smell in my boiler room; when I had it checked out by the gas company, it turned out he was right! I'm not sure I would have figured that out myself, and it could have turned into a serious problem!
Great guy, and throughout the job looked out for my best interest to make sure I was happy.

I don't know what John D. is talking about; I suppose nobody's perfect.  But I've been using Wellbrock for eight years and they always treat me fairly, are responsive, and do great work.  It's really nice to have a local, reliable plumber--Doug and Co. fit the bill.

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now.  The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen.  They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge.  No recurring problems.

Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store.  Guess that was a good sign.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink and needed someone to fix it ASAP.  Ariel Services was very accommodating and I got an appointment right away.  They called to let me know that they were on the way and got here when promised.  They quickly identified the problem, ran out to get the necessary part, fixed it promptly and took the time to explain to me what happened. They were very pleasant and professional to deal with. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

I was extremely disappointed with a last minute cancellation at 12:00 Noon for today's 10a-2p appointment, I find it incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable.  They simply left a voicemail saying they got too busy with other jobs.
Hmm...that seems a bit contradictory to their website where they state [their] reputation has been built on high quality, fairly priced service...On never having to make excuses.
My wife and I made arrangements, not only moving our schedules around but also everything under both our sinks in advance of what we thought would be an agreed upon appointment.  
They came well recommended by our well-connected broker at Corcoran Real Estate, and seemed to have it together by how quickly they turned around a COI that named us and our building management, but alas, no play no pay!

I tried to make an appointment they told me 1230pm I said ok great....its almost 5pm and I have called and left messages and never even received a courtesy call they are running late or not showing up.very unprofessional and wouldn't wish service like this to anyone.
