Peter gave me a great service! He put up 5 paintings and helped me asamble a wardrobe in less than two hours, for a very reasonable price. He was pleasant and most definately helpfull!

We purchased washer and dryer combo and we could not use it because it clog up our kitchen sink due to old drainage pipe that needed replacement and unclog. We called DC plumbing and they arrive within 2 hours.  Dorjan completed the job and cleaned  up nicely afterwards.
I highly recommend them.

This place is professional, responsive and accountable.  I've worked with other plumbers who disappear on you, don't follow through, or are just never available when you really need them.  They do have a minimum service call fee, but it's pretty on par with what you'll pay for any plumber (maybe less).

Andy's Plumbing & Drain Services were incredible. They will be the only one I call for my plumbing needs in the future. Two workers came to install a kitchen hood. I was told they would come with Covid precautions. They came without masks and just walked in without wiping their feet outside. I had to give them masks. They couldn't install the hard because of an exhaust fan, which would prevent it from being installed. When I asked them If they could remove the fan, they said no it will leave a hole. I have to get a remodel to install my kitchen hood and remove the fan.

I needed my AC installed. Boris and Tseren did it quickly and very well! They were very kind and patient as well. Definitely recommend hiring them!

S&B have done a fantastic job taking care of the plumbing in my house in Weehawken for years now.  From small stuff (fixing sinks) to big stuff (replacing major sections of piping in a old basement).  Steve is knowledgeable, reliable and a nice guy to boot.  I've got nothing by compliments for S&B.  Yes, they are expensive, but you get quality work done on time.

We couldn't get our thermostat to work. New batteries, cleaned up the installation area so the wires can connect properly, re-threw the breaker switches. We did everything we would think of. I finally did a quick search on who could come out to look at this issue. This company was the first.

WOW!!! Great repairman, great service, everything was explained over the phone prior to the repairman going to our residence. You have all the details: track the driver, free texts on an ETA and your order info for your records, everything in real time.

We later found out one of the wires broke inside the wall. What a pain...yet was a simple fix. For a generous price and friendly service, we got it installed. No problem! Everything done in about an hour. None of this.. press 1 for this, press 2 for that, oh sorry our repair staff are unavailable until next week. CALL THIS COMPANY!! After 2 consecutive nightmares involving contractors for our bathroom, we did some serious research and found Harry. He was the only one of three more estimates to come in right away. He was also very personable and knowledgeable. His proposal was a little higher than others, but more detailed and specific, leading to no issues later on. Also, as an old contractor myself, I know that you truly get what you pay for. I tend to gravitate towards the higher ones. You'll forget about the cost, but live with the bathroom for years!
    Well, that's exactly how it turned out. We are a bit nitpicky at times, but Harry just rolled right along with it and made the changes.  In the end it was an outstanding job!  If my wife is happy, I am happy.
    Take the plunge, go with the best!

I had been putting off getting a hole in a pipe under my kitchen sink fixed for a few weeks. I had patched it on a temporary basis but I really needed the pipes replaced. I put out a request through YELP and in seconds was contacted by Adonis. He asked some questions, and quoted me a reasonable price for parts and materials. He came by that day and had the pipes fixed in no time. While doing this job he also noted that the valves under the sink need to be replaced (old plumbing). He said any able to take care of it then because the building has to shut off the water on the line. But when I get that sorted, I'm calling these guys to do the work.

Mike has helped us with our plumbing issues twice now. Both times he showed up within an hour or two of our call and was able to figure out and fix the problems. His prices are fair and he does fast and reliable work and he is a very nice guy. We are new to the area and already very glad to have found Magic Drain. Hopefully our issues are over now, but if something else come up we know who to call!

Had them install new boiler They put circulator in wrong called 4 times to correct.Has left my basement without heat for 2months. Basement is finished and is my daughters bedroom .Do not  use

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now.  The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen.  They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge.  No recurring problems.

Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store.  Guess that was a good sign.

Had a.really poor experience with ariel. I had a shower body installed by their plumber a year ago to have it fail on me this week. After calling and booking a plumber to come take a look at the issue today I was told the plumber would come this morning. After spending 7 hours at home today and 2 calls I still have no update. Really poor customer service. Where is the proactive follow up? Unreliable

i had to give a major shout out to this company.  They actually have been in business for 100
years!  so obviously they must be doing something right.
I had some major issues with my bathroom sink and tub , broken pipe etc.  My handyman called them and they sent 2 amazing guys over that were so knowledgeable ,  friendly , patient and
just the best professional guys i ever had in my apartment.  they took control of the situation
and spent a decent amount of time fixing etc. Double checking to make sure everything was
in working order.  When they finally finished I took a look and honestly there was not
a drop of dirt or mess,  actually they cleaned my bathroom better than i would have.
Just truly top notch workers.  I am recommending them to my friends and family and
anyone who wanted a trusted well done job done by very professional workers.

I tried to make an appointment they told me 1230pm I said ok great....its almost 5pm and I have called and left messages and never even received a courtesy call they are running late or not showing up.very unprofessional and wouldn't wish service like this to anyone.

Call these people if you want to get completely ripped off.
My tenant has called Roto Rooter because dishwasher didn't drain water, and the water was leaking.  The fix on the invoice was kitchen sink drain stopper clean.  Three trips.  Replaced the 2 Elbow waste pipe for kitchen.  For this, they have charged her $200 for parts and $732 for labor.  First, an elbow pipe cost $20 max, so that should have been $40 at most.  The job lasted an hour and 20 min, counting the time he had gone to park his car and to retrieve tools, which was treated as three trips on the invoice.  My tenant is a young woman with no knowledge of plumbing and has signed off on this without checking with me first.  When I called them, and spoke with the manager on this blatant abuse of pricing, his response was that this is their price and the tenant was willing to pay this.  Yes, I understand that they are free to quote whatever price they want to, and it was my tenant's own fault to get ripped off for not checking with other companies.  However, it is completely dishonest to take advantage of someone just because they didn't know what the going rate is for the type of service performed.  This job should not have cost more than $400 by a licensed plumber, and I'm counting higher because it is NYC.  For a similar job, I have paid $200 elsewhere.
I'm giving them 1 star because at least, the job was done correctly and the problem is solved. But Roto Rooter is never getting my business again.
