Peter is the best. I was building a recording studio and having trouble with the vocal booth being completely soundproof, after calling several contractors to take a look peter was the only one that knew the issue. Not only did he fix the issue he explained the process as he went along which gave me a better understanding about soundproofing. Peter is very professional, quick and has a great sense of humor. He was also very flexible with my budget. He is definitely my go to contractor from here on out. Thx again peter you will b hearing from me soon when im ready to exspand the recording studio.

Dorjan Ceraj is very responsible and arrived on time. He did a wonderful job and highly recommend him. He made sure to clean up after completing his work.

I called for a routine annual furnace cleaning. After they serviced the furnace 180.00 the glass broke the next day and they advised I am responsible to repair the glass another 120.00.  They are scammers. I've been a home owner for 20 years and always have annual cleaning never had this issue.  GO SOMEWHERE LEGIT

Andy's Plumbing & Drain Services were incredible. They will be the only one I call for my plumbing needs in the future. I chose this company because of the reviews.  My basement shower was leaking. When the two guys arrived,  one told me it would cost $150 for just coming, $150 for each hole they had to create to locate the problem and then $150 per hour. The guy spent two hours on the phone bullcraping claming he needed to check with his supervisor or call around to get a part. He kept going outside my house to use the phone. I finally confronted him that if he was being honest why was it necessary for him to go outside and not talk in front of me.  He talked on the phone for an hour and a half, completed the job in 15 minutes by just sealing off the rim of the drain and then gave me a bill for over $600.  Don't trust these guys!! Scam artists.

I needed my AC installed. Boris and Tseren did it quickly and very well! They were very kind and patient as well. Definitely recommend hiring them!

Joseph (owner) helped me select 2 new units - one a 28,000 in-wall unit (big boy!) and a 12,000 unit both to replace my  17 year old models. He told me he could do it that day and gave me a time window and how long the job would take.  He an Jacob showed up exactly when they said they would. They took out the 200 pounder and the smaller one, installed the new ones and even customized the installation in the bedroom in a way that we could open the upper window to wash it. By 3:15 I had 2 new AC's, old ones removed, boxes out of the house - done. They were totally professional and a pleasure to deal with. Do not hesitate to call them.

I had a great experience working with Fabio and his team at infinite comfort.  From the start Fabio was clearly very knowledgeable, authentic, and fair.  When I bid out the work Infinite Comfort had the best rate and the most professional team.  Once the work started, they were in and out in a very short time.  One thing that I particularly appreciated was Fabio's help in preventing cold air from escaping in the basement.  He insulated my ducts free of charge to help address this problem.  Overall I would recommend Fabio and Infinite Comfort based on both price and service.

We found Harry through his glowing yelp reviews and are pleased to add another. We hired Harry to replace a few broken bathroom tiles under and around our toilet. Harry and his team did such a great job, the repair looks seamless.  He was always on time and is a pleasure to work with. We are very happy to have found a contractor we can call when the need arises.

My sump pump failed, Mike came within hours and was able to replace it.  He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.  His price came to be exactly what he quoted over the phone, would highly recommend.

I don't know what John D. is talking about; I suppose nobody's perfect.  But I've been using Wellbrock for eight years and they always treat me fairly, are responsive, and do great work.  It's really nice to have a local, reliable plumber--Doug and Co. fit the bill.

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now.  The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen.  They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge.  No recurring problems.

Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store.  Guess that was a good sign.

Let me start this review by empathizing with John S. and David A.

They are very curt on the phone.  True.
They take a long time to get to you True.  

They were also my only option and it worked out ok for me.  I did have to wait for about 3 hours for them to get to my place.  I called a few times and got a run around.  Understand that I had no choice, my bathtub would not drain at all.  Yuck.

When they got to my place, the plumbers were very nice and apologized for being so late.  They also got right to work.  It turned out to be a big problem and they investigated it fully.  They saw that it was turning into a building-wide issue and they stopped and got the super of my building.  They helped me itemize the bill so that I wouldn't be stuck holding the bag for common charges.  They tried everything they could (it is a much bigger problem).  

For that consideration, I give them 3 Stars.  I probably would have been harsher on them but, so many places around me either (a) no longer in business or (b) not answering their phones.

More of the same...came out for an estimate same day. Scheduled repair for three days later. Never showed, gave excuses when called, delayed for two full days, said they had other emergencies and employees out on vacation, finally said maybe next week. Completely disrespectful of customers' time.

Update: ended up hiring Petri Plumbing & Heating for this job. They were professional, showed up at scheduled time, and completed the job in 5 hours. I highly recommend them.

I tried to make an appointment they told me 1230pm I said ok great....its almost 5pm and I have called and left messages and never even received a courtesy call they are running late or not showing up.very unprofessional and wouldn't wish service like this to anyone.

Call these people if you want to get completely ripped off.
My tenant has called Roto Rooter because dishwasher didn't drain water, and the water was leaking.  The fix on the invoice was kitchen sink drain stopper clean.  Three trips.  Replaced the 2 Elbow waste pipe for kitchen.  For this, they have charged her $200 for parts and $732 for labor.  First, an elbow pipe cost $20 max, so that should have been $40 at most.  The job lasted an hour and 20 min, counting the time he had gone to park his car and to retrieve tools, which was treated as three trips on the invoice.  My tenant is a young woman with no knowledge of plumbing and has signed off on this without checking with me first.  When I called them, and spoke with the manager on this blatant abuse of pricing, his response was that this is their price and the tenant was willing to pay this.  Yes, I understand that they are free to quote whatever price they want to, and it was my tenant's own fault to get ripped off for not checking with other companies.  However, it is completely dishonest to take advantage of someone just because they didn't know what the going rate is for the type of service performed.  This job should not have cost more than $400 by a licensed plumber, and I'm counting higher because it is NYC.  For a similar job, I have paid $200 elsewhere.
I'm giving them 1 star because at least, the job was done correctly and the problem is solved. But Roto Rooter is never getting my business again.
