WE FOUND THIS DUDE LIVING IN OUR HOUSE.

We live bi-coastal. We hired Peter almost a year ago, for a basement project. He did a decent job, so when our tenants in the upstairs units needed minor work, it was easy to call Peter to handle a loose doorknob, etc. We keep the garden unit empty for our own stays back.

Fast forward, we land at JFK, go to the house and I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT WE FIND.

We get to the house and this dude has his bedsheets on our usually bare bed. His slippers next to the bed. Our kitchenware as his ash tray. Rolled dollar bills with coke on it, condom wrappers, other garbage on the night stand. His boxers hung over the shower curtain to dry. Toothbrush, Ax body spray, etc in the bathroom. His dirty laundry in our basket. He had food and leftovers in the fridge, dirty dishes in the sink, garbage everywhere.  It smells like cigarettes, weed and BO. His iPad thrown across the bed like he pitched it there leaving home for work and bunch of his tools in the hallway by the front door. He went through our boxes and drank all our commemorative and vintage alcohol, that had been carefully packed away.

This m*****f****r is straight LIVING IN OUR HOUSE, USING IT AS A SEX AND DRUG DEN.

We immediately changed the locks.

PETER HAS THE AUDACITY TO TEXT ASKING IF EVERYTHING WAS OK.

He tried to come at us like WE KNEW AND HE WAS DOING US A FAVOR.

This dude is filth. Straight trash. He stole from us. He's a criminal. We couldn't even stay in our own home, we had to stay in a hotel. I'm terrified he will try to break in and cause further damage and trauma. We had to install a camera and check it frequently now for anything out of place.

Obviously. I do not recommend you hire him.

Dorjan was amazing! He was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and charged a very fair price. We will be calling him for all of our pipe and plumbing needs. He swiftly fixed an old steam pipe for us.

We called a few days ahead of time for an appointment to hook up a washer, a gas dryer and a slop sink.  We had a day and time scheduled.  We waited a few hours (this is not our home, so it was a special trip).  We finally called only to have the owner (who was running the company from another country) tell us that we really didn't have a formal appt, but he could send his people by.  He quoted us $360. Which we thought was high, but agreed to the price.  The two young fellows arrived.  No English was spoken.  The next thing we know the owner calls us and says he needs $210 more.  All parts except for the dryer vent was on site, but he said add'l parts would be $125!  We had used them in the past and were satisfied.  Do not waste your time with these folks.  They are not a stand up operation.  Never again

Great work from this company. I was very worried at the amount of work that would need to be done to my bathtub. The pipe under my bathtub was completely rotted. Dwight was on time and ready for the task. Very professional and knew what he was doing. Now I can take a shower in my apartment due to his work. Highly recommend this company!

I received an extremely high quote for a mini split unit (contacted through Lowes).  Requested a breakdown of charges several times with no response.

I requested a window AC installation service and received a prompt response within a few hours. Two professionals arrived at the agreed-upon time and took care of everything without my intervention. They removed my old AC unit, installed the new one, and even cleaned up after themselves. The entire process took approximately 30 minutes, and they also took away the old AC unit, relieving me of the responsibility of disposing of it.

Such a great job! Michael installed my whole closet from ikea. Will definitely be reaching out in the future!

OK where do I begin I see there are  four other reviews for the same problem that I am dealing with I have called left numerous messages finally someone came it was  the owner to give me an estimate after waiting 5 days I finally got an estimate.  I called back the following day no one returned my call I called 6 more times no one return my call finally today Thursday November 1st I called up I got a very nasty woman on the phone who really didn't care if she got the business or not I asked her if  she was a relative of the owner and she said no  and I said  do you usually talk to customers in that tone of voice and she laughed and she said if you don't want to do business with us you could take your business elsewhere not only was his estimate the highest out of 3 other people but the speaking mannerism of this woman who answers his phone is horrible she seems like a very unhappy Person. If you're looking for a reliable plumber do not call them.  They really don't care if they get the business or not I had to give them one star or else I was unable to put this throw horrible customer service.

These guys are great! Good prices, very friendly service and fast installation. They installed my two A/Cs today, the same day that I called, which is amazing because it was 90 degrees! They installed my A/Cs with safety brackets in less than 30 minutes. Really nice guys and great service. Highly recommend them!

Called Infinite Comfort to get a diagnostic on a home HVAC issue.  Fabio was absolutely patient and thorough in his diagnostics.  However, there was absolutely no follow through - He was suppose to get back to me in a week, nothing.  I called back in 2 weeks, they apologized and said will follow up ASAP.  Still no follow up.

Great attitude during diagnostic phase, zero follow through or results.  Waste of my time unfortunately.

Scheduled a site visit and Harry never showed up.  Enough said.

Had issues with my sewer. Adonis arrived and took care of the situation and explained everything from the beginning. It was pretty seamless. I will definitely use the service for anything that arise in the future.

Awesome Service! My sump broke and rain was forecasted in a couple of days. Mike was able to come out the next day. He made sure to call/text to confirm apptmt and arrival time. He even asked for pictures in advance so he could prepare. He did a seamless installation and was very respectful not to track dirt in/out of our home. He did such a good job I asked if he could come back to install a battery backup. As promised he followed up a week later and like the first time, texted/called to make sure we knew when he would be coming. Pricing was reasonable and def worth the value. Very professional and punctual. Will def keep his contact info on-hand for the next issue that comes up.

I don't know what John D. is talking about; I suppose nobody's perfect.  But I've been using Wellbrock for eight years and they always treat me fairly, are responsive, and do great work.  It's really nice to have a local, reliable plumber--Doug and Co. fit the bill.

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now.  The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen.  They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge.  No recurring problems.

Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store.  Guess that was a good sign.

I had contacted the company for a small bathroom work in Manhattan apartment. Another company, Standard Plumbing, responded back very professionally. Very pleasant experience and recommended.

Called over a week ago to schedule an appointment for a leaking faucet.  They were quick to take my American Express to start a job ticket for one week later but when the day arrived they cancelled at the last minute due to other emergencies (whereby they get more money).  Totally disappointing!  Would never recommend them in good faith!  Don't Call!

I called this company and it's a scam. They sent a so called repair person who didn't fix my leaking fridge he just took a blow dryer and melted ice. He came up with so many scenarios and at the end my fridge kept leaking. Their number is a Google number that changes and they told me to make a payment electronically on square space. Also promised me a 6month warranty. Obviously when I called they went MIA.!!!!!! Please do not fall for these scammers. They go by Gotham appliances or K.A.R. Check out the pictures of the repair guy he goes by the name Vicky. Now if they comment they will most likely say we don't know the guy (of course they will)....

Call these people if you want to get completely ripped off.
My tenant has called Roto Rooter because dishwasher didn't drain water, and the water was leaking.  The fix on the invoice was kitchen sink drain stopper clean.  Three trips.  Replaced the 2 Elbow waste pipe for kitchen.  For this, they have charged her $200 for parts and $732 for labor.  First, an elbow pipe cost $20 max, so that should have been $40 at most.  The job lasted an hour and 20 min, counting the time he had gone to park his car and to retrieve tools, which was treated as three trips on the invoice.  My tenant is a young woman with no knowledge of plumbing and has signed off on this without checking with me first.  When I called them, and spoke with the manager on this blatant abuse of pricing, his response was that this is their price and the tenant was willing to pay this.  Yes, I understand that they are free to quote whatever price they want to, and it was my tenant's own fault to get ripped off for not checking with other companies.  However, it is completely dishonest to take advantage of someone just because they didn't know what the going rate is for the type of service performed.  This job should not have cost more than $400 by a licensed plumber, and I'm counting higher because it is NYC.  For a similar job, I have paid $200 elsewhere.
I'm giving them 1 star because at least, the job was done correctly and the problem is solved. But Roto Rooter is never getting my business again.
