Not easy finding a good plumber so I was very happy when I got Peter. Reliable, affordable and most of all knew what he was doing. Very fast too. Super knowledgeable. Fixed both my sinks and pipes in no time. Was able to point out issues that other plumbers didn't bother too. Would highly recommend.

I hired this plumber when I was in California in an emergency situation to fix a leak under my sink. My friend met him at my home. He did not fix the leak. He lied and said he had replaced the strainer. He only replaced the top, not the bottom (see pictures.) He used silicon to seal the bottom and stop the leak temporarily. He guaranteed the work and said to call back any time within six months. He charged an outlandish $650 (down from $700 as he was doing me a favor.) No credit card was allowed. Only cash.
I asked him to fix the leak yesterday and he refused unless I pay him. He said he would never guarantee the work, especially as it was done 3 months before. In my opinion, he knew it was going to leak and wanted to charge me again.
DO NOT USE THIS CROOK. I would also bet that his positive reviews  on Yelp are from bogus accounts and friends.
P.S. A real plumber cut off the old strainer and installed the new one in 10 minutes. It took the DC Piping and Heating apprentice, Dorjan sent out to do the job, 40 minutes to replace the top part of the strainer only. This after calling Dorjan and asking how to proceed with the job. THIS IS A SCAM OPERATION FEEDING OFF PEOPLE IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS.  DO NOT USE!

I reached out to Continental this past Saturday morning because I had a leaking steam boiler return line and was in a bit of a jam due to the  sub par plumber that was assigned to my service request by American Home Shield.   Continental came through like a champ!  When they arrived they assessed the damage, gave me a quote and told me how long the job would take. I hired them on the spot.  They were done within the time frame given and the guys that came out were super friendly and clean.   They did a fantastic job   all around.  So much so that I plan on having them come back next month to do some additional work for me!   I would highly recommend them for any heating and/or plumbing  work needed.  They're responsive,  professional and competitively priced.

Great work from this company. I was very worried at the amount of work that would need to be done to my bathtub. The pipe under my bathtub was completely rotted. Dwight was on time and ready for the task. Very professional and knew what he was doing. Now I can take a shower in my apartment due to his work. Highly recommend this company!

I called them to repair a constant leak in my bathroom tub & a drip from my bathroom sink faucet. The plumber that came to do the work said he was only able to saw off the shower faucet and replace. The handle now jiggles on the replacement part, but he did do the job. However, the sink went from dripping every 21 seconds, to 14, to now at least every second. I called them when I noticed how much the frequency had increased, and they sent the same guy to look at it again. He said he replaced the washers and was not sure what it was - probably would need to replace the entire fixture. Have you ever heard of a plumber that cannot stop a leaky faucet? Further, the $300 bill I received did not breakdown parts, labor, and the individual jobs, which I find upsetting. I'd like to know how much I paid for the issue to not be resolved. Now that I have a constant drip, I got replacement parts from the manufacturer. I have called and left three messages with no returned call. Guess I need to find someone else and throw more money at this.

My wife and twins were complaining about how hot it is and now they are complaining how cold it is.... I mistakenly put window units into the wall. My electric bill was 800 bux and we were living in a SAUNA.
Called these guys up, got an wall AC for about 500 bux delivered and then 100 to install.
I couldn't afford to get that in all 3 rooms so they hooked up the window units for me in a  very safe and cooling way

Chris and AJ, and Sal of course, have done extensive plumbing work as part of my renovation of a kitchen and 2 bathrooms in an old building in Manhattan. They had to be creative to solve many of the problems and they were definitely up to the work. The final job they did was to install a Toto Neorest 550H toilet/bidet. They did it well and quickly.  Impressed with the quality of the work.

I received a recommendation from my realtor to call Fabio. I used him two years ago to replace a sink that had been broken. I called him and he came out and inspected my furnace and AC system. In the process of doing so, he noticed my laundry sink was leaking, and recommended ways that I save on money by using different filters for my furnace, and to adjust my furnace settings to save money. His team ended up replacing a leaking pipe, putting in a slip bar in my master bath, repairing the laundry sink, and putting in the new Moen faucet. I am very pleased. I felt that Fabio shared his knowledge as he walked through my house and gave me many ways to save money, and to be a more educated homeowner. I highly recommend him.

Your search for a top-notch contractor ends here. I reached out to Harry's Contracting via yelp regarding a quick project and he was able to get things done on time and on budget. I thought it was going to be a stressful process due to the fact that I live in a co-op building, but Harry was able to get all the necessary paperwork to the management company in a timely fashion and got the project done. I appreciated how Harry heard me out on what I needed to have done to my apartment and provided guidance on how to best get it done. If I ever need to have any work done to my apartment again in the future, Harry's THE man.

Our sink pipe cracked on Christmas Eve and PS&D was very responsive and had a team out very quickly. They replaced the pipe and associated fixtures quickly and thoroughly.

Mike fixed my leaky sink. It was an older faucet so it was stuck. And he battled for a while. But he didn't give up and got the job done. Thanks mike for coming on a short notice (Saturday).

Had them install new boiler They put circulator in wrong called 4 times to correct.Has left my basement without heat for 2months. Basement is finished and is my daughters bedroom .Do not  use

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now.  The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen.  They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge.  No recurring problems.

Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store.  Guess that was a good sign.

I couldn't agree with David A more. Totally rude on the phone--answer the phone with a simple Good morning, and then when I ask, Uh, is this Ariel Plumbing? they got all snippy and acted like it was the dumbest thing I could possibly have asked.

But I was willing to overlook because they said they'd be there to do the job within 45 minutes. 2 hours went by. I called. They said they'd page the plumber and he'd be over ASAP.

Another hour. Another call. Another promise.

And still another hour. And still another call. And this time, I was told that, unfortunately, they'd have to reschedule for the following day.

And then they never showed up at the appointed time. So I cancelled, much to their chagrin.

I had no idea finding a decent trustworthy plumber was so difficult in this city. This is NOT the place to start. I think Vermont P. is a fake and works for the company and put up a fake review.

I don't buy it. You shouldn't either.

I was extremely disappointed with a last minute cancellation at 12:00 Noon for today's 10a-2p appointment, I find it incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable.  They simply left a voicemail saying they got too busy with other jobs.
Hmm...that seems a bit contradictory to their website where they state [their] reputation has been built on high quality, fairly priced service...On never having to make excuses.
My wife and I made arrangements, not only moving our schedules around but also everything under both our sinks in advance of what we thought would be an agreed upon appointment.  
They came well recommended by our well-connected broker at Corcoran Real Estate, and seemed to have it together by how quickly they turned around a COI that named us and our building management, but alas, no play no pay!

I called this company and it's a scam. They sent a so called repair person who didn't fix my leaking fridge he just took a blow dryer and melted ice. He came up with so many scenarios and at the end my fridge kept leaking. Their number is a Google number that changes and they told me to make a payment electronically on square space. Also promised me a 6month warranty. Obviously when I called they went MIA.!!!!!! Please do not fall for these scammers. They go by Gotham appliances or K.A.R. Check out the pictures of the repair guy he goes by the name Vicky. Now if they comment they will most likely say we don't know the guy (of course they will)....
