Peter was really helpful in helping to install two Danfoss thermostatic radiator valves (TRV) in my apartment. He came by to make sure I ordered the correct valve and then installed the valve in two radiators later that week. Peter was friendly, flexible around my schedule and easy to coordinate with. I will definitely reach out to him for more help in the future!

Dorjan was awesome!  He was so fast to response and extremely knowledgeable.  He was flexible and helpful as I was not 100% how to explain our bath/shower issue.  When he arrived he assessed the issue and came up with a plan to fix it.  We will definitely reach out to him again if we need anything and have already shared his name with a friend.

Continental did an excellent job.  I called them to clean out some of my drains.  They were very accommodating, showed up on time, and were polite and neat. I Will definitely use them again.

Great work from this company. I was very worried at the amount of work that would need to be done to my bathtub. The pipe under my bathtub was completely rotted. Dwight was on time and ready for the task. Very professional and knew what he was doing. Now I can take a shower in my apartment due to his work. Highly recommend this company!

I had an emergency situation at my home where my 17 year old water heater had to be replaced after it suddenly stopped working and it leaked throughout my basement. So, I called Home Depot and they told me its a Friday after 12 they would put in the request to see if I would get an install before Monday.
I am so happy to report that I received a call via the company that services my area via Home Depot - All Day Plumbing & Heating Company and thankfully the technicians Vish & Mohamed came to my home and installed my new Rheem Hot Water Heater.
Vish called me before coming answered my questions related to the type of heater, cost and installation time.
Vish & Mohamed arrived at my home on time and they were professional from the beginning to the end of the job.
Vish answered all my questions related to the water heater install, the importance of Maintenace and registering the water heater . Also, they ensure that I had hot water. I even had an additional question and Vish answered and that was appreciated.

I requested a window AC installation service and received a prompt response within a few hours. Two professionals arrived at the agreed-upon time and took care of everything without my intervention. They removed my old AC unit, installed the new one, and even cleaned up after themselves. The entire process took approximately 30 minutes, and they also took away the old AC unit, relieving me of the responsibility of disposing of it.

I moved into a condo in Williamsburg, that needed a ton of odd-jobs completed. Michael came quickly to my aid, and completed everything from hanging things on walls, to plumbing and electrical issues. He provided his COI to the building, which was required and couldn't be a nicer guy!  I will be calling again for any task!

I called them and another plumber yesterday for a dishwasher install last minute. Needed a valve changed. One said a month, S&B stayed next day. Get a call a few minutes later that they had an opening. They got someone out here in time, didn't charge me an arm and a leg, and I appreciated working with their whole team. Would highly recommend.

We had some frozen pipes and Nick and Chris came promptly and got the hot water running in this old house!
It was on one of the coldest days, so I'm sure they were extremely busy, but they got the job done quickly and gave us tips on preventing the problem in the future.

Had them come in to fix our very loud heat valve leak after having another company tell us it is fine. I can not say enough good about this company. Two problems in two weeks fixed quickly, professionally, and affordable.

We will be contacting them for a contract for yearly furnace work!

Solid work! After being jerked around by a couple people for our kitchen renovation, we found Harry through Yelp. At our first meeting, we definitely got a good vibe from him. Friendly guy, very personable, kind of serious looking, but able to crack some jokes. So we decided to go with him.

The job consisted of three separate trips, because we were coordinating electrical work in the kitchen, and it needed to be done in the proper order. And we were sort of on a deadline and we relayed this to Harry, who assured us it would be done on time. I guess we were nervous and needed to be updated or wanted to know a definitive time. At times Harry could be too laid back, or maybe he was used to more laid back customers, or our job was small so he wasn't as definitive with his dates/times -- but there were two instances where he said he would call/come by, but then he didn't. He always called and let us know -- he never just flaked on us completely or ignored us. However, I guess we were relieved, excited, and hopeful whenever he told us a specific time/date, and we were expecting him on said time/date because that meant things were not stalled. Once he finished his part, we could get the electrician to do his part, and so forth.

It didn't make us upset at Harry; we could tell he was a good guy. But we were weary. We didn't want to be clients that were not taken seriously, whether we were young or seemed passive. We needed to let it be known that we expected things on a specific timeline, as promised (that's why we went with this business in the first place). My husband sent out an email on two different occasions asking for more information, and asking to speak with Harry. Harry's office manager/receptionist was on point. She always responded very quickly.I could tell she kept the ship running smoothly, because whenever we emailed her, Harry would follow up with a call. I really appreciated that communication. It was instant! I can tell they do take their clients and business seriously.

In the end, it all worked out. As for Harry's work, it showed quality. And he was efficient with what he did in one day. He and his team also cleaned up after themselves, very well. They didn't leave garbage or sheet rock dust . They even swept up too.

I know our job was small and minor, but I have confidence that bigger projects or a full on gut/renovation, he could do very well.

Michael showed up right away even though it was late in the day. He did a great job, cleared my waste pipe quickly and guaranteed his work. His price was reasonable especially compared to the other quotes. I'll use him again.

My entire family lives in the neighborhood and has been using RJ Wellbrock Plumbing for years.  We trust them completely and know we are being taken care of and will receive the best service. I recently purchased an apartment and the fixtures that were in the bathroom tub from the previous owner were a nightmare - outdated, and constantly leaking to the point where it was damaging the tub. Doug and his team were able to locate the hardware needed to replace everything and fix the leak - it works perfectly and looks brand new!  So happy I reached out to them for this and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now.  The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen.  They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge.  No recurring problems.

Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store.  Guess that was a good sign.

I think I was wrong about the plumber who did me wrong. It was NOT Ariel. I confused the phone numbers. So, I'm sorry, Ariel.

I'm not a licensed plumber, but I had to hire Fred Smith because the work required a shut-off in the whole building. Fred Smith wouldn't come to look at the job without my first coughing up my cc #. I needed a shutoff valve replaced, and was then gouged for parts. They charged me $151 for a shutoff valve. (And $31 for solder.) These prices make the Pentagon's $900 hammer seem like a bargain. They seem to be taking advantage of helpless NYers who don't know about plumbing or what the parts cost.

I tried to make an appointment they told me 1230pm I said ok great....its almost 5pm and I have called and left messages and never even received a courtesy call they are running late or not showing up.very unprofessional and wouldn't wish service like this to anyone.

Call these people if you want to get completely ripped off.
My tenant has called Roto Rooter because dishwasher didn't drain water, and the water was leaking.  The fix on the invoice was kitchen sink drain stopper clean.  Three trips.  Replaced the 2 Elbow waste pipe for kitchen.  For this, they have charged her $200 for parts and $732 for labor.  First, an elbow pipe cost $20 max, so that should have been $40 at most.  The job lasted an hour and 20 min, counting the time he had gone to park his car and to retrieve tools, which was treated as three trips on the invoice.  My tenant is a young woman with no knowledge of plumbing and has signed off on this without checking with me first.  When I called them, and spoke with the manager on this blatant abuse of pricing, his response was that this is their price and the tenant was willing to pay this.  Yes, I understand that they are free to quote whatever price they want to, and it was my tenant's own fault to get ripped off for not checking with other companies.  However, it is completely dishonest to take advantage of someone just because they didn't know what the going rate is for the type of service performed.  This job should not have cost more than $400 by a licensed plumber, and I'm counting higher because it is NYC.  For a similar job, I have paid $200 elsewhere.
I'm giving them 1 star because at least, the job was done correctly and the problem is solved. But Roto Rooter is never getting my business again.
