I called Sunday for a quote and they replied within minutes. Someone (Dorjan) asked to see the job and arrived on time. On Tuesday he came and did the job for the price quoted.

My husband and I bought a fixer upper row house in downtown Jersey City about three years ago. Over the last three years, we have had a LOT of experience with plumbers, carpenters, electricians, constructions workers, brick masons... and the list goes on. And a lot of those experiences have been bad. Edmundo and his crew at Continental Plumbing & Heating, Inc. stand out as one of the few positive experiences we have had. I have come to rely on them more and more and I have used them as general contractors as well as plumbers. They are reliable, responsive and always an excellent value. Edmundo takes the time to listen to what I want and if there is a problem it always gets fixed. I would recommend them to anyone and (unfortunately) I really know a lot about whats out there.

Great work from this company. I was very worried at the amount of work that would need to be done to my bathtub. The pipe under my bathtub was completely rotted. Dwight was on time and ready for the task. Very professional and knew what he was doing. Now I can take a shower in my apartment due to his work. Highly recommend this company!

If you want to deal with a company that you have to constantly call to make an appointment and to get a plumber, then this is the company for you. Seems like they didn't want my business/didn't want to work since they didn't return phone calls.  Waste of time.

Been using them for my parents house for over 10 years.  They come and install the windows units every summer season. At the end of summer I usually call them to have them remove it so I can close the window.  Yet this time I was cheap and didn't call them to remove the unit.

During the recent snow storm we got major drafts coming in that made it uncomfortably cold. So I called Joe and he had his guys out here in a jiffy to remove the unit.

I think I'm finally gonna go w one of his custom installs for my parents house  so I don't have to have them back out to remove it.

Needed a local plumber to fix a plumbing issue that I had for weeks and found Patriot Plumbing & Heating information online.  Contacted the company and spoke to Lorri who's extremely helpful and informative had provided a quick turnaround scheduled less than 24hours notices and completed the job within the hour.  I highly would recommend to all as I would definitely be utilizing them on all future projects.

Fabio has been servicing our hot water heater,  and gas boiler and furnace for years now. He's always very prompt at replying and comes in ASAP to check, diagnose and give us the best options to fix the issue. Recently, we had to replace our gas boiler.  We met with Fabio and was quoted a fair price. Osvaldo and his assistant were very professional and courteous, and they did such a clean, professional installation. They also addressed all of our questions and concerns. We are very impressed with how honest, reliable, and competent these people are. We definitely recommend Infinite Comfort.

We found Harry through his glowing yelp reviews and are pleased to add another. We hired Harry to replace a few broken bathroom tiles under and around our toilet. Harry and his team did such a great job, the repair looks seamless.  He was always on time and is a pleasure to work with. We are very happy to have found a contractor we can call when the need arises.

I had been putting off getting a hole in a pipe under my kitchen sink fixed for a few weeks. I had patched it on a temporary basis but I really needed the pipes replaced. I put out a request through YELP and in seconds was contacted by Adonis. He asked some questions, and quoted me a reasonable price for parts and materials. He came by that day and had the pipes fixed in no time. While doing this job he also noted that the valves under the sink need to be replaced (old plumbing). He said any able to take care of it then because the building has to shut off the water on the line. But when I get that sorted, I'm calling these guys to do the work.

Let me tell you, I have never had a better experience. The owner is absolutely honest and just wants to help. He refuses to sell you on work you don't need. This will be our new go to for any plumbing work that we ever need. I could not be happier or more appreciative.

Had them install new boiler They put circulator in wrong called 4 times to correct.Has left my basement without heat for 2months. Basement is finished and is my daughters bedroom .Do not  use

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now.  The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen.  They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge.  No recurring problems.

Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store.  Guess that was a good sign.

Wanted to share the pleasant experience I had today, using Ariel Quality Plumbing.
4th of July, when no one else is working, my bath tub and toilet got badly clogged. I called and much to my surprise, Ariel Quality Plumbing were at my door 45 minutes later.
The plumber was really nice and worked hard to clear the stoppage. I was expecting to get hit with the charge because of the holiday but he told me that they charge the same all year round.
Over all, very good plumbing and customer service. I would definitely use them again in the future.

This process is still ongoing. I called the company several weeks ago. The estimator showed quite late, after follow-up phone calls, on 8/13/16 and gave a price of $350 for one unit Kohler San Souci Touchless Comfort toilet replacement. When the toilet arrived on 8/18/16.  I made contact with them and they arranged the installation date on 8/22/16. They told me that the price is $450. I challenged the quote because I was told it was $350. Since I already invested time and energy I went along with it. Yesterday and today 8/22/16, I spent a lot of preparation to clear the hallway as well as the bathroom, as well as cleaning the toilet. I called at 8:30 AM today to confirm the promised arrival time between 10 and 2. The person told me that he wasn't sure about the time. I called  at about 2 and he told me that he can't make it today. I stayed home to meet with the installer and that means no income since I'm an independent consultant at 70. However, on their side they didn't lose money. I was told that they will try to do it tomorrow 8/23/16. I asked what time. He told me to call at 8:30AM otherwise I guess they will not call me. It sounds like it's their usual business practice. They were not really apologetic about the inconvenience they have caused. Let's see what the customer's experience will be tomorrow.

Addition:
Unfortunately, when I called exactly at 8:30 AM Mike, after a long pause,  told me that it could be scheduled in the afternoon. I was able to find another plumber who did the installation with COI the same day.

I tried to make an appointment they told me 1230pm I said ok great....its almost 5pm and I have called and left messages and never even received a courtesy call they are running late or not showing up.very unprofessional and wouldn't wish service like this to anyone.

Call these people if you want to get completely ripped off.
My tenant has called Roto Rooter because dishwasher didn't drain water, and the water was leaking.  The fix on the invoice was kitchen sink drain stopper clean.  Three trips.  Replaced the 2 Elbow waste pipe for kitchen.  For this, they have charged her $200 for parts and $732 for labor.  First, an elbow pipe cost $20 max, so that should have been $40 at most.  The job lasted an hour and 20 min, counting the time he had gone to park his car and to retrieve tools, which was treated as three trips on the invoice.  My tenant is a young woman with no knowledge of plumbing and has signed off on this without checking with me first.  When I called them, and spoke with the manager on this blatant abuse of pricing, his response was that this is their price and the tenant was willing to pay this.  Yes, I understand that they are free to quote whatever price they want to, and it was my tenant's own fault to get ripped off for not checking with other companies.  However, it is completely dishonest to take advantage of someone just because they didn't know what the going rate is for the type of service performed.  This job should not have cost more than $400 by a licensed plumber, and I'm counting higher because it is NYC.  For a similar job, I have paid $200 elsewhere.
I'm giving them 1 star because at least, the job was done correctly and the problem is solved. But Roto Rooter is never getting my business again.
