I met with the gentleman and at first wasn't sure who to go with had few other companies gave me estimates one actually a little cheaper but the way the guys at A&O responded to my needs and the urgency of my situation Let me say the professionalism was impeccable very glad I chose them even though I may have paid just a little more definitely worth every penny just the comfort and convenience knowing I don't have to get it done again is why I will be calling them up for my next project in our home I highly recommend these people they left my house looking better than when they came in my hat's off to those young men

I just change my furnace in my home and the installation was fast and professionally ,, a bit expensive but it's worth it

I had a leak in an original cast iron pipe in my house which is over 100 years old.  They were able to replace the leaky section by making two small holes in the wall of a closet on my first floor and one under the carpeted hallway floor (no damage to the carpet) to replace the leaking section of the pipe.  A carpenter they sent will be making the small patches.  I'm relieved that they didn't have to go through the tiles in the shower or anyplace that would be expensive to patch.  They identified the source of the leak and repaired it quickly and didn't leave a mess behind.  I highly recommend this plumber!

Called them regarding a home heating system installed several years ago.  It was not running properly.  They came quickly, were very pleasant to work with, and competently analyzed and repaired the problem.  The bill was reasonable too.

I have used them several times for leaks in my plumbing and they are very fast to respond and fix the problem.  They always clean up any mess they have made and always put cloths down when doing work.  One time I thought it was a pipe leaking and they discovered it was coming from a cracked shower pan.  They didn't charge me to look at the problem and gave me recommendations on how to fix the problem temporarily until I could get a tile person in to fix the problem under the tile.  I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber!

We had a great experience with this company. We thought we had a leak in a wall and placed a call for them to come as soon as possible. They arrived within a couple of hours, assessed the situation and found out that only the flushing system in one of our toilets was broken. They installed a new one for a reasonable price and we're done shortly there after. I would highly recommend these guys!

There plumber fixed my toilet fast when I decided to use this company. He also showed up fast and he did not charge me much at all. He was very nice and very professional. If you need a plumber you found the best.

Saying they are fantastic would be an understatement.  Our water heater went out on Saturday, I left a message on Sunday and Monday morning Billy called at the time I had asked.  He gave me a reasonable quote and was at my house by 9am to start the job.  By 10:30am he and his assistant were done and an hour later I had hot water.  Billy explained everything to me clearly and updated all my shutoff valves (including the one to the humidifier).  They were recommended to me by a neighbor and I whole heartedly recommend them as well.

Words cannot describe how Bart is my hero! After weeks of scheduling plumbers to quote the cost of hooking up my new gas grill, I called Five Star Plumbing and Heating.  Not only was Bart kind but when I explained that all I wanted was to light up the grill and prepare a burger for my birthday in exactly one week, he was able to meet me at my home within two hours!  Not only did his price beat all of the local competitors but  he installed my grill the same day!!!! I think I almost threw him over with a hug when he said now you can have your burger for your birthday. In addition, when I thought my day couldn't get any better...he offered to discard the old grill, checked an existing leak, immediately identified the cause and gave me a quote that I'm sure would beat his competitors.

Believe me, I will be using him for all my plumbing needs going forward.

We had Zeek Plumbing to fix our sump pump about 6 months ago.  When our pump stopped working in a freezing snowy time last night, we thought this would be a major job right before Christmas. When we called Zeek Plumbing, Steve, though unable to schedule us immediately gave us some ideas to check before trying any fixes.  Well, sure enough, Steve's suggestion worked.  The whole system started working again.

Steve always calls a couple days after a job to make sure everything  working. We just want to thank Zeek's Plumbing for their conscientious and honest work ethic--and for the remote fix on our pump.

I called Seaman Plumbing and Heating on a Thursday morning for an estimate on a Navien Combi tankless heating and hot water system. Jimmy Seaman called me back shortly afterwards and said he was available to stop by right away. 15 minutes later he was at my house and within 15 minutes of examining my system was able to give me a fair estimate. We came to an agreement and he said he would order everything needed without even having to provide a deposit. A few days later on Monday afternoon Mr. Seaman called me and asked me if I would be available for an install the next day at 8:30 A.M. Tuesday morning Jimmy Seaman along with his crew showed up early at 8:00 A.M. ready to work. When I came home from work at 5:00 P.M. my old boiler and two hot water heaters had been removed and my new Navien system was professionally installed and up and running. After talking for a few minutes Jimmy let me know I qualified for a $600 rebate from National Grid that I didn't even know about. He told me he would fill out all the necessary paperwork and drop it off to me the next day. Sure enough I received a phone call the next day saying all the forms had been completed and were in my mailbox. I don't think I've ever dealt with a more professional contractor of any sort. It was a true pleasure dealing with him and his crew from start to finish. He had a smile on his face from the estimate until the completion of the install. I highly recommend anyone needing plumbing and heating work to call Jimmy Seaman.

I am very pleased with the work done by Manneh Plumbing.  He quoted the same price he charged with NO extras added on like some other plumbers do.  Plus he explained how things get stuck in drain pipes and clog.  He was very thorough and a super nice guy.  I will use him again even if I have to wait.   I've had a lot of repairs the last year and this was the best service man I've had to my home!  He's a small businessman with exceptional service and fair prices!  I highly recommend calling him if you need a plumber.

well ill tell you this much Harlem's Handyman really is a hand man he took a little long and i was late for a meeting but some people might find that as a good trait. he was professional with everything that he did. only issue was the time. like i said if you have all day he's definitely your guy .

I called cox plumbing when I first moved into our home in Valley Stream. Water was backing up from the basement bathroom and the I think Charlie cox a big bald chubby did an estimate of $8000 and could be more to fix the problem. He mentioned new pipe, new basement concrete and re-routing drains. I told him that I could not afford it at the moment and he would not leave till I give him $80 for just literally looking at the pipes. I gave him the money to get it over with. I called Roto Rooter and whoalla! They quoted me $300 to clear the sewage drain and they even showed me whats going on with when they used the drain camera. I never had back up or any problems ever since.  Anyways I was a new home owner during that time and he clearly took advantage of it. Just please have or use another plumber before considering using this company.

Great guy, I called for an emergency visit because the chain in my toilet had corroded - now everything is as good as new. Highly recommended, very friendly and honest.

I called M&T Plumbing for a boiler issue.  Before they arrived, I figured out the problem and called the office to cancel.  I guess the office did not communicate this to the plumber and he showed up anyway.  I told him we didn't need him anymore, and he left.  M&T then sent a bill for over $700 claiming that they did a full system check-up.  I mean really?  Who does that?  Now they are threatening to sue me if I don't pay.

Beware of this company, they are a bunch of scammers!
