I met with the gentleman and at first wasn't sure who to go with had few other companies gave me estimates one actually a little cheaper but the way the guys at A&O responded to my needs and the urgency of my situation Let me say the professionalism was impeccable very glad I chose them even though I may have paid just a little more definitely worth every penny just the comfort and convenience knowing I don't have to get it done again is why I will be calling them up for my next project in our home I highly recommend these people they left my house looking better than when they came in my hat's off to those young men

I just change my furnace in my home and the installation was fast and professionally ,, a bit expensive but it's worth it

This is my local plumber and I can't recommend them enough.  Their rates are very reasonable and despite the fact that they always seem to be busy, they fit me in asap.  All the plumbers in this firm are professional. knowledgeable, and courteous.

We have used CJ Plumbing for many years... they are simply the best! Not only Carmine and his crew are competent, attentive, and always prompt if there is an emergency, but they are always willing to explain the problem and find the most efficient solution for it.  We had them install and repair several heating units  and water heaters in many of the homes we moved to, and in some of our rentals and they always demonstrated top notch professionalism. We also had broken pipes replaced and and leaks repaired  and C+J Plumbing always did their job with maximum competency and cleaned everything before leaving.
I can't recommend them strongly enough . Everybody in our extended family and all our friends are now using them!

We have used Ventura a couple of times for plumbing repairs in our 70+ year-old house, and have been very pleased with their prompt and friendly service in setting up an appointment, and then with the quality of the work and fair pricing.
[NOTE: I have changed by earlier 4-start rating to 5 stars. In an earlier version of this review, I  wrote about not being able to reach Ventura by telephone after several tries. It turned out this was due to a temporary glitch in local telephone service. But the next day, my call went through, and was answered by Donna at the Ventura office in her usual friendly way. She made an appointment for a plumber to come today, and gave a 2-hour range.

I would gladly use Ventura again. Good work. Good people.

Honest team of guys. Had an issue with a leak and they helped out. There customer service was on top of things as well. Priced on the high end, but they are professionals. I do recommend.

There plumber fixed my toilet fast when I decided to use this company. He also showed up fast and he did not charge me much at all. He was very nice and very professional. If you need a plumber you found the best.

We had a small leak under our sink today,  but it made the sink unusable, so we really wanted to get it fixed quickly. I called them and they were booked for the day, but said they'd call back if things freed up. They did, arrived on time and were done with the job in under a half an hour. Roland, our serviceman, was very nice and knowledgeable, even answering other plumbing questions I had. Best of all, reasonable rates. Will absolutely use again.

Five Star Plumbing was great. They replaced a leaking water heater with a tankless water heater unit. First, they came out free of charge to examine the situation and then gave a reasonable quote. I shopped around and Five Star was the most reasonable. Lastly, they came when they said they would and installation was completed without a problem. I would highly recommend Bart and Igor.

I have been dealing with Joe for over 30 years, ever since I was the Facilities Officer of the Ridgewood Savings Bank. Wealways call Joe and his for partner Darrin for ALL of our plumbing needs. Now that I am retired from the bank I still call him for my personal plumbing needs

We've used Zeek Plumbing in the past and their team has always been responsive, fair, and capable, but they exceeded all expectations with a recent issue that they were willing to escalate and accommodate us with on an emergent basis, in spite of a full schedule, all while providing a fair (and explained ahead of time) price and a great result to a tough issue. I can't recommend them enough.

I am very pleased with the work done by Manneh Plumbing.  He quoted the same price he charged with NO extras added on like some other plumbers do.  Plus he explained how things get stuck in drain pipes and clog.  He was very thorough and a super nice guy.  I will use him again even if I have to wait.   I've had a lot of repairs the last year and this was the best service man I've had to my home!  He's a small businessman with exceptional service and fair prices!  I highly recommend calling him if you need a plumber.

well ill tell you this much Harlem's Handyman really is a hand man he took a little long and i was late for a meeting but some people might find that as a good trait. he was professional with everything that he did. only issue was the time. like i said if you have all day he's definitely your guy .

I called cox plumbing when I first moved into our home in Valley Stream. Water was backing up from the basement bathroom and the I think Charlie cox a big bald chubby did an estimate of $8000 and could be more to fix the problem. He mentioned new pipe, new basement concrete and re-routing drains. I told him that I could not afford it at the moment and he would not leave till I give him $80 for just literally looking at the pipes. I gave him the money to get it over with. I called Roto Rooter and whoalla! They quoted me $300 to clear the sewage drain and they even showed me whats going on with when they used the drain camera. I never had back up or any problems ever since.  Anyways I was a new home owner during that time and he clearly took advantage of it. Just please have or use another plumber before considering using this company.

Skeptically, we called several 24/7 plumbing companies after 11pm to get help with a broken shower diverter. Waiting til the morning wasn't really an option. Only two responded at all. So much for 24/7. 24 HOURS PLUMBING responded quickly, asked for any pictures of the problem and said they could send a plumber. Yes, it was expensive - but it was after midnight when he arrived. Yes, they took my credit card number upfront, but didn't bill me until the work was finished. Yes, the problem was fixed and we could shower in the morning and get on with our day as if nothing had happened. The plumber was a nice guy, polite and able to fix the problem with the parts he had on hand. We would recommend them at any hour of the day but if you need someone at an ungodly hour, these guys are reliable.

Their driver (whomever it is that drives a Porsche with the company information detailed on the side of the car) is completely reckless. His driving was so dangerous that I took the time to look this company up. Just this past Wednesday afternoon he was weaving in and out of city traffic and creating his own lane with the vehicle. I do not know what kind of company would have such a volatile driver representing their brand, but alas I can only speak to the taking behaviors and aggressiveness of this individual. However, since he is a representative of their brand, I personally would not seek their professional (plumbing) services.
