Mike saved us from a potential disaster! We had a leaking water heater, and no prior experience with anything of this magnitude since we bought an older home. I wish I could give Pete  a 10 star rating.   I had a terrible smell in my house.   He went into my  crawl space and found I had 3 huge issues.   When he said that I freaked out.   From broken pipes to loose caps and sewage leaking out, I thought I was going to have to sell my wedding ring.  Nope, soooo reasonable.  Absolutely worth every penny.    I absolutely found my new forever plumber.   Thank you so so much!!!

Horrible! Initial interaction with this place resulted in them quoting me work that was 3x more expensive than another plumber. Tried a 2nd time for a much smaller problem and despite telling me that they would definitely be there and waiting all day, noone showed up. Other options available.

I have relied on Colin's plumbing skills for the last two years.  He is an excellent plumber, reasonably priced, and cleans up after each project.  He communicated how long it will take and how much it will likely cost.  He is a friendly Irish-American you can count on.

We had no heat this weekend, and my building was struggling to get a plumber to come by. I used Blaustein a while back to install some new bathroom fixtures, so I gave their number to my super without really expecting much. Thankfully our pipes weren't frozen and in less than 3 hours later our heat was fixed and my super raved to me about the fast, clean work that the mechanic did.

Samir did an outstanding job painting my bathroom walls. Samir offered great value for his service and was responsive to all my questions. I was also impressed that Samir was able to relocate the towel rack and repair the wall as if the towel rack was never there. Overall I highly recommend!

My shower dripped.

I called FI&S on Tuesday and was told I'd be called back with an appointment time.  I wasn't.
I called again on Wednesday and said I'd called on Tuesday and again  was told I'd be called back with an appointment time.  I wasn't.
Friday, finally they called to reset my appointment.  Reset?, I asked.  you mean 'set' the appointment. You never called me before.

Short story shorter, the guy showed up at 3p.m. that Friday.  After whacking my shower handle for 15 minutes with a screwdriver and busting the cartridge inside, he realized he didn't have the tools he needed.

What was a drip from the shower head, now it was a gush coming from the shower handle, still stuck in place.  Still, he had to leave, and leave he did  after promising to be back first thing Monday morning.

He did not come back, neither on Monday, nor on Tuesday, nor on any other day, nor did he call, ever after that.

I got myself to the internet, watched some videos, went to the plumbing store, and after a few videos and much praying, I remove the handle, replaced the cartridge, and was done with both the drip and the gush.

So, all in all, I thank FI&S because they were kind enough to help me realize that I can do good plumbing if I try.  As a a token of my gratitude, I give them a 3 star review and these 2 words:

Appalling customer service even borderlining obnoxious for being busy I am just going to have to live with not having your business. Extremely disappointing from a customer service 20yr veteran perspective, a woman owned Construction Co in NY and them being recommended from a Successful GC friend....

We needed to replace a kitchen faucet and received a quick reasonably priced quote online. Set up an appointment and Oscar came to do the installation. He was very professional and very considerate of our safety as he came in with safety mask and footwear. He did the installation and it was very good and efficient and he addressed all our questions and concerns. After the service was done, we paid what the agreed quote and it came with a year of labor guarantee. Very happy with the service and we finally found our go to plumber and hvac servicer!

Woke up to water in the basement and panicked when I realized it was the main line. Called Urgent Drain and Raheem was professional and reassuring.
Once they arrived, He & Junior quickly cleared the drain.  Reasonable flat rate for the service so no complaints.  Professional and courtesy.  Would recommend!

We called cheap John's and Eric showed up on time and got the job done quickly and Profesional... We will definaly refer this company to our friends and family... We will give you 10 starts if we could.

Guy tells me on the phone that they have the cartridge for a specific toilet flush system.  He sounded dismissive and like he didn't know what he was talking about, so I asked three times, even though he tried to hang up on me, if it was the cartridge they had.  He says yes then hangs up.  Walk over there and it's the handle not the cartridge.  Another guy working there acknowledged what an idiot the person I dealt with was and tried to help but they didn't have the part.  I'm not a plumber, but I know how to fix a toilet and the exact parts I need to do so.

Steer clear of this place.  They don't want to be bothered by non-plumbers.
