I am so glad that after researching several companies and asking around, I decided to call Scott from Main Man. Our main water pipe broke and water was leaking from the walls into the basement. It got worse and fast. Luckily we redirected the flood of water coming in towards the sewer basin or else we would be flooding. Stressing out, the whole family was digging dirt from the crawl space and moping the basement floor. It was labor intensive and a highly stressful time for us.

I called Scott on Sunday. Send him pictures and videos over the phone. He came Monday, and he came earlier to assess the situation and gave me a quote. He really is a nice and supportive business owner towards his customers. He was professional and always texted me when his crew was coming and what's the next step. He took care of all the permit and advised us from day one. I am very grateful.

The crew was wonderful. Everday, six of them came. They were punctual, clean, and worked so hard. Special shoutout to David and Juan (professional, attentive, and courteous).They showed me I can trust them and the integrity of their work. They were meticulous of the repair and of other resident's property. When they leave, the worksite is neat and guarded until they return next day. They even helped me push my car parked in front of my house into the driveway when the battery died so they can dig in that spot. Day one, they found the broken lead pipe and stopped the water from coming into my basement. There were a lot of tree roots underneath the property/foundation. Day two, they took the lead pipe and installed copper pipes and fixed everything. Day three, they finished the road and sidewalk. They were also kind enough to pour cement over the hole we made on the porch. Not only do they get the job done, they go beyond to help you as much as they can. They were diligent and professional. Akeim is professional, knowledgeable and efficient.  When the kitchen faucet in my tenant apartment broke, from the pictures of the damage he was able to assess quickly that I needed to do a replacement instead of a repair and advised objectively on the type of faucet I should get.  Once obtained, he installed it quickly for a reasonable price.  I was very pleased with his work and look forward to working with him on future projects.

The pump in my office pantry that pumps out waste water gave out. The plumber recommended by the building engineer wanted a crazy amount of money (kickbacks involved it seemed) so I made calls to a few other places. Some could not do the work because they didn't have the insurance requested by the building manager (we're talking about a midtown commercial office building). Star Cities sent a plumber over within hours and I got an estimate  the next day (Friday) quoting a reasonable price. My only hesitation was that they wanted 75% of the price up front. I was concerned that I'd end up waiting around for a long while to get the work done if they were already paid that much in advance. Well, happily I was wrong. The same plumber was back exactly as they said (Tuesday) and got the job done right the first time.  Also, Natasha is super pleasant to deal with on the phone. This was an all around great experience and I highly recommend this business.

Called 3 times and always got to voicemail. The owner did call back but missed. When I call back, still voicemail. Giving up now.

My Family and I are in the midst of a gut and reno and needed some plumbing taken care of. I had (2) other vendors on the line, one cancelled 15 minutes before scheduled appointment and the other....no response after initial communication. The latter is disgustingly unprofessional! I reached out to Platinum Plumbing and within minutes had a response, a quote and a scheduled appointment for later that same day. Pete showed up on time, summed up the task at hand and tackled it. All the while carrying a pleasant conversation with me.

While there are undoubtedly many plumbers in the NY area who have the technical ability to do a job well, what's much harder to find is someone who can both do a job well and whose judgement can be fully trusted.

Colin Lee has consistently demonstrated both qualities throughout the many projects he's done for us over 3+ years, whether it comes to properly diagnosing a problem, providing accurate time/cost estimates, thoroughly executing a project, running all of the proper tests to verify completion, and his overall reliability.

We couldn't imagine using anyone other than Colin for our plumbing-related needs, and confidently recommend him to anyone who can benefit from his services.

We just had the best experience with Blaustein Plumbing. Their employee arrived in less than 2 hours from our call.  He was polite, articulate and knowledgable - even funny!  The issue with our in-sink disposal unit was diagnosed and repaired quickly.  I have told our management company not to use anyone else any more.

I have been having a lot of trouble finding a reliable plumber / construction repairman.  Today I lucked out.  S & A Quality Pro Services did a fantastic job.  He showed up on time, did thorough and accurate work, replacing a bathroom faucet and fixing a major hole in the drywall.  I certainly will be calling him again for the many jobs in the building.  I highly recommend him.

Wholeheartedly recommending Friedman Irwin & Son Inc! My water heater stopped working after some electrical issues in the building. Called them in the morning and they were able to come in right away. They found and fixed the problem in around 15 minutes. Aside from fixing the problem in record time, they were friendly and professional! They will be my go-to plumbers from now on.

Best service Ive ever had from a business.I had a problem with the DEP not accepting my backflow test results due to the initial test being filled out incorrectly by a Build it Back architect,Tom and his staff did all the legwork contacting all the parties involved and rectified the situation.They saved me a lot of money in fines,And also saved me from having to hire another architect.They asked for nothing in return,even though they spent alot of time and energy on my case.

There customer service is great, everyone is friendly. I would recommend this spot to any one in need of plumbing supplies. I was also told they sell Girl Scout Cookies so I had stopped by to buy some and it was very heart warming to see how the father was supporting his daughter.

I messaged in June. In mid-November they replied 'out of our service area' .. Would be funny if not so sad. I mean, why even bother (replying..) FFS?

I called Cheap John's on a Sunday afternoon they said somebody would be out in 1 1/2hr, well he got yo my house in a 1/2hr. Mike quickly diagnosed the problem and unclogged my kitchen sink and dug up and cleared my line in less than 1hr, super fast, reasonably priced and very professional I'd recommend Cheap Johns to anyone who has a plumbing issue

Really rude and unhelpful. Just needed one part and they were going to charge extra bs fees for handling. Do yourself a favor and buy exactly what you need online
