My problem was low pressure in my entire house. 5 minutes into my conversation with Scott, I immediately knew I was going to give him the job. I'm an engineer and very methodical and did my legwork and spoke to 5 or 6 other contractors asking every question you could image before I spoke to Main main. Each contractor give me a piece of the explanation with no clear plan or explanation that I and was looking for. Scott gave met the entire outline and painted my scenarios while being extremely detailed.  I could tell he was very very experienced - no bull.

Scott came in with a professional and courteous team. They made sure they covered all the bases from making sure the street was free where they needed to dig to cleaning up and sealing the street extremely professionally. My water pressure was so strong afterwards that I've never had such good pressure for 25 years! They made sure they carefully worked and walked in my basement as it was a finished basement. What I thought was going to be a painful job, turned out to be so seamless and painless. My issue was a dirty city tap.  Main man cleaned it out with a special threading tool and tested the pressure several times afterwards before reconnection. They made sure to show me the difference of the pressure before and after. Scott is a pleasure to contract out.

Our toilet had a stoppage in the middle of the night. After consulting with multiple plumbers, Akeim of Sturks Sewer Works was able to clear the blockage and get the toilet back into functional order at a very reasonable rate. Thank you so much Akeim!

Natasha, Hans, and the owner, Robert are the most professional, and respectful team I have ever encountered in this industry. They were extremely reliable and attentive. Robert clearly and patiently explained my issue and the step by step process of how to resolve the problem. Their prices are very fair for NYC. I spoke to no less than 14 other plumbing companies before I confirmed my appointment with Star Cities. I would unquestionably hire them again and recommend them to anybody who needs and wants excellent service.

Eddie has and will remain my buildings plumber of choice. Nice guy, transparent and more importantly communicative. Last job was running late due to an issue with another customers job but called to update me on his time. Things happen, and making sure he didn't leave me hanging was the most important thing. Not knowing who to call and being skeptical of someone taking advantage, we decided to call Mike at Austin Plumbing and Heating. He showed up ready to work right away. Plumbing issue- and you find yourself filled with dread. From out of state? Frightening. Yelp research and set up and appointment with James. Communication was quick and excellent. Service was tremendous, no fuss, no muss. The price was fair and didn't make me want to cry. Our second visit to finish a couple other items is already on the books.

We had Downtown P&H visit our apartment to fix an overflowing toilet tank. Their customer service was available in the middle of the night and coached us on how to temporarily solve the problem until the plumber could come in the morning. William called us at 8 am, just like the operator said he would, and showed up to fix the issue within an hour. He was efficient, friendly, and detail oriented. Not only did he fix our plumbing problem, but he CLEANED our entire bathroom area around the toilet and the sink, replaced our problematic toilet flushing lever without being prompted, as well as noticing our bathroom door handle was loose and tightening it. These guys are great. Would definitely be using Downtown P&H again and utilizing William's skills and excellent customer service.

I have relied on Colin's plumbing skills for the last two years.  He is an excellent plumber, reasonably priced, and cleans up after each project.  He communicated how long it will take and how much it will likely cost.  He is a friendly Irish-American you can count on.

Excellent service ! The men are efficient , very professional , quick ,  thorough , polite . My plumbing issue was resolved beautifully . Samir was a pleasure to work with. I reached out to several contractors regarding a small project that most contractors would not even get back to me about because it wasn't worth their time. The scope of the project was removing the existing countertop, building a new custom cabinet for my appliance(the existing one was a custom 18 depth), installing new countertop and installing a new backing for the back of the island.

He was responsive, came to see the project and discuss the scope, gave me a price and was honest about pricing (he said he would have to mark up the countertop price if he ordered for me which is understandable)

Overall, I'm happy with the work for the price. I ordered a large countertop that had to come in two pieces due to the size and you can tell one of them is slightly not level. It's a minimal height difference but I can tell, doesn't take away from the renovation too much.

Great service, communication and everything was done in a day as promised.

Irwin Freidman is pricey - about double the rate of my regular plumber. But for twice the price, I did get twice the professionalism, reliability, efficiency and punctuality. You absolutely get what you pay for here. Great, high-quality results and customer service.

Best service Ive ever had from a business.I had a problem with the DEP not accepting my backflow test results due to the initial test being filled out incorrectly by a Build it Back architect,Tom and his staff did all the legwork contacting all the parties involved and rectified the situation.They saved me a lot of money in fines,And also saved me from having to hire another architect.They asked for nothing in return,even though they spent alot of time and energy on my case.

There customer service is great, everyone is friendly. I would recommend this spot to any one in need of plumbing supplies. I was also told they sell Girl Scout Cookies so I had stopped by to buy some and it was very heart warming to see how the father was supporting his daughter.

Great company to work with! We had a sink and shower that had been clogged and hired Racso Plumbing and Heating for the job. They were very quick to reply to messages, offered a really affordable price, and the sink and shower were fixed very quickly! I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

Rob is the man for all your drain and sewage needs. Called him and he was able to take care of my emergency same day and on a Sunday ! He diagnosed the issue right away and performed hydro jetting to clean the 30 ft of backup found in my home, which has so far worked like a charm. Three weeks ago I had contracted Cheap John's to clear a stoppage,by the time he got here the water went down but I asked him to service my sewer anyway. He went to his truck and came back with a hand drill operated snake with auger which you would use for a sink. When I  pointed out that the auger w as to small and snake to short he assured don't worry it's guaranteed. Well it backed up again and when I called he said it would be $90. When I told him it was still under the 30 day coverage. He said that's only during business hours.
If you are looking for a company to do the job the first time don't call Cheap John.

Guy tells me on the phone that they have the cartridge for a specific toilet flush system.  He sounded dismissive and like he didn't know what he was talking about, so I asked three times, even though he tried to hang up on me, if it was the cartridge they had.  He says yes then hangs up.  Walk over there and it's the handle not the cartridge.  Another guy working there acknowledged what an idiot the person I dealt with was and tried to help but they didn't have the part.  I'm not a plumber, but I know how to fix a toilet and the exact parts I need to do so.

Steer clear of this place.  They don't want to be bothered by non-plumbers.
