Replaced lead water main with new 1 inch copper line and installed DEP required outside shutoff valve. Competitive price for premium service. Arrived on time with major equipment, worked diligently completed work early enough they had to wait for inspector to arrive. Without water only a couple of hours. Neatly patched concrete and left work area cleaner than they found it. Workers were undemanding and friendly. Excellent communication with master plumber Scott begging to end.

Akeim is professional, knowledgeable and efficient.  When the kitchen faucet in my tenant apartment broke, from the pictures of the damage he was able to assess quickly that I needed to do a replacement instead of a repair and advised objectively on the type of faucet I should get.  Once obtained, he installed it quickly for a reasonable price.  I was very pleased with his work and look forward to working with him on future projects.

Robert has helped with two plumbing issues over the past month.  He is very responsive with text and phone and a pleasure to work with.  On one of the projects, he resolved an issue that the building super said couldn't be done and in the process saved the owner additional expenses.

I've had bad experiences with plumbers and contractors.  Who hasn't?  Those who don't return calls, say they have insurance but turns out they don't have insurance etc....

With Robert, the required insurance and admin paperwork required by the condo was provided expediently.  We agreed on time and he showed up on time.  Everything was just smooth.  Highly recommended.

Eddie has and will remain my buildings plumber of choice. Nice guy, transparent and more importantly communicative. Last job was running late due to an issue with another customers job but called to update me on his time. Things happen, and making sure he didn't leave me hanging was the most important thing. Mike from Austin Plumbing is great! called him at 8AM showed up promptly to help fix my heating pipe leak on a Sunday. Very detail oriented and made sure everything is okay. He seems very knowledgeable. Will definitely call him again for future plumbing needs. 5 stars

I highly recommend Platinum plumbing. The owner Pete came on Saturday within an hour of me calling for an appt and provided a very good price and explained how the work was going to be completed. He assured me that he would complete the work himself. Pete was very accommodating and worked around my work schedule so that I didn't need to take an additional day off.  He arrived promptly and very efficiently installed the dishwasher, sink/ faucet and some additional work. He made sure everything was working properly before he left and again explained the work completed. Pete was a pleasure to work with, very reliable, experienced and knowledgeable plumber and feel confident to recommend him to my family and friends.

Extremely flexible to our schedule, came out on a Saturday morning.  Quickly repaired shower and reasonable cost. Will use this company again!

Had a problem with the heat in my house this morning. Making things worse was the temperature outdoors was below 32 degrees.  I checked the pilot light for the Weil Mclein boiler in my basement -- despite several Attempts to light the pilot, it would not stay lit, and thus no heat in my house.  So I called a couple of contrac I knew -- unfortunately they were not available to help.  Hence, I decided to check on Yelp.com for heating specialists.  Found Downtown Plumbing & Heating with positive reviews-- thus I decided to give them a call.  i called around 11am, and got a dispatch for someone to come to my home by 2 - 3 Pm. At 1:23 pm, George arrived well ahead of time with the right part to quickly resolve the boiler issue.  I am very happy with the service, and enjoying the warm heat on this cold night.  Saving their number for the future!

While there are undoubtedly many plumbers in the NY area who have the technical ability to do a job well, what's much harder to find is someone who can both do a job well and whose judgement can be fully trusted.

We had an incredibly positive experience with Blaustein Plumbing. We have custom, European plumbing fixtures (installed by previous owners) that are so specialized many plumbers don't understand how to fix them. I was recommended Blaustein Plumbing by a Plumbing and Hardware store that sells the specialized parts we needed. They charged a VERY reasonable (relatively speaking) flat fee per hour and are far more experienced and knowledgeable compared to other plumbers I've worked with. They're also super courteous, in addition to the mask, they put booties on before entering the apartment, gave me advice on how my building's super could fix certain items or issues (so I wouldn't have to spend the money calling a plumber). It was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend this plumber.

Samir was great to work with. We needed to make space in our kitchen for a dishwasher installation (which included putting a new outlet in and taking out some cabinets). Samir was super responsive and easy to work with. Scheduling was a breeze and he came and did the job in an afternoon. The price for the job was really fair and better than all of the other quotes we got. Samir is also a really nice guy. I couldn't recommend him highly enough and we are very happy with our new dishwasher!

I needed the boiler repaired because it just started getting cold.  I called to ask about how much they charge and they said it was $125/hr...fine so they came took an hour and the bill was over $270! I appreciated it that they came right away --the boiler wasn't broken..it was clogged...so no parts were needed--so why the large bill?  Because they charge travel time! They never mentioned that when I asked about the cost..funny how that works....I think I'm going back to school to study plumbing because that's where the moneys at!  They should really think about changing their ways because next time anyone in building needs something..they won't be on the top of my list...--but they did fix my problem and came on same day so I'm glad about that-please guys just tell people what it's really going to cost.

Very proffesional and was half the price of every other company  I called,  They came and took care of the backflow device the same day i called them and took care of all the paperwork as well.

One afternoon I was walking by and realize they sell Girl Scout cookies. Well, I don't need a single plumbing supply but  I was happy to find cookies. Costumer service was friendly and helpful and I didn't feel uncomfortable  being a woman walking in there. Head to DJ plumping for your Plumping and cookie needs. HAHA

Oscar from Racso is amazing. Finding a good HVAC person is so challenging but I'm so happy that i found these guys. I had THREE other HVAC guys TRY to fix my heating system and every person said something different was wrong and NOBODY fixed it until I called Oscar.

These guys are the real deal. Prices are fair, they were able to get parts and fix within a week from me calling, and I finally have heat again!

Hands down these guys are the best at what they do. I wouldn't think of using anyone else. Mike is very professional and sincere.

These guys rock! Definitly a Supply house for professional plumbers, but if you heed somthing done, you might meet one us there.
