I hired Main Man to do a broken sewer line. They gave me a reasonable price $12,000 total. They charged me a deposit of 50% of the cost which is about $6,000. When they attempted to do the work. They came without any permits. They got kicked off from the work by the Dept of Building and Dept of Transportation. Main Man said that they don't wanted to do the job anymore. They cashed my deposit into their account and they refused to give me back my deposit of $6,000. I will have to go hire a lawyer to sue them. I advice you to stay away from Main Man. They are scam. Do not trust them.

Akeim is professional, knowledgeable and efficient.  When the kitchen faucet in my tenant apartment broke, from the pictures of the damage he was able to assess quickly that I needed to do a replacement instead of a repair and advised objectively on the type of faucet I should get.  Once obtained, he installed it quickly for a reasonable price.  I was very pleased with his work and look forward to working with him on future projects.

Eddie and his team were excellent: prompt, professional, and knowledgeable!

Despite it being New Year's Day when I contacted Eddie, he responded in less than an hour and came out the next day to diagnose our problem (dead water heater). Since we opted to use him for the repair, Eddie did not charge us for the diagnostic fee. He is knowledgeable about the different water heater brands, and I feel confident with the product he recommended and installed.

For both the diagnostic visit and the repair, Eddie kept me updated via text on his estimated arrival time and was always punctual. The team installed the new water heater very quickly. The price was quoted up front, and there were no surprises when the work was completed.

In terms of COVID precautions - the team wore masks and gloves while they were in my apartment.

Discovered leak from pipe in crawlspace.  Temporarily stopped it by shutting water supply to toilet. Called Platinum Plumbing and Peter was affable, and immediately available. He arrived right on time early in AM AND QUICKLY repaired the failed PVC joint .  He was extremely accommodating and very skilled.  I asked him to check a sound coming from toilet and he discovered malfunctioning fill valve.  He offered to come baxk same day or make a new appointment, my choice.  His price was very fair, and his immediate response and helpful attitude were refreshing. Highly recommended!!

Called on a Friday at around 1pm to have my kitchen sink drained and someone showed up around an hour later. Very prompt, professional and quick.

Would absolutely recommend Colin for your plumbing needs.  He showed up the same day I called him, just a couple of hours later, to fix 3 separate minor plumbing problems we were having in our apartment related to our kitchen sink and washer/dryer.  He was kind, polite, and explained everything clearly, which I appreciated.  Because of the pandemic he also wore a mask (properly over his nose, I would add) and shoe covers.  He worked quickly and had reasonable rates.  Highly recommend!

We had an incredibly positive experience with Blaustein Plumbing. We have custom, European plumbing fixtures (installed by previous owners) that are so specialized many plumbers don't understand how to fix them. I was recommended Blaustein Plumbing by a Plumbing and Hardware store that sells the specialized parts we needed. They charged a VERY reasonable (relatively speaking) flat fee per hour and are far more experienced and knowledgeable compared to other plumbers I've worked with. They're also super courteous, in addition to the mask, they put booties on before entering the apartment, gave me advice on how my building's super could fix certain items or issues (so I wouldn't have to spend the money calling a plumber). It was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend this plumber.

We reached out to Samir after purchasing our home to handle the installation of numerous electrical work as well as interior painting of the entire home. He was extremely responsive and flexible via text / email. He came the following day, took a tour of our new home, and gave us a very fair estimate of the project and time frame to complete. We quickly agreed and he started the very next week. Insurance was provided. He also gave us a great discount on painting materials which saved us a lot of money on our end.

He came at 9am every day on time and concluded work at 5pm. He gave us a project deadlines that he followed and was able to finish the work he promised to do in that time frame.

Installation of multiple outlets was completed within 1 day.

3 floors - all walls/closets/doors. Each floor averaging about 2 days completion.

His team varied per day, but Samir overlooked the entire project and managed his team and their work. If he was unsatisfied with the quality of work, he would make amends. He is very hands on and even helped us other things that were not initially included in the quote such as installing a very heavy chandelier. He also provided a snake to clear a clog in our plumbing. Overall, Samir is a very knowledgeable contractor who knows a bit of everything.

Payment was given via Venmo after completion of work.

Although I've never done official business with Friedman & Son (thus the 4 star rather than 5 star review), I greatly appreciated the fact that they helped me with a useful referral. I called for an emergency bathroom repair and although Friedman wasn't available during the time frame I needed, he graciously referred me to a friend of his at another company who *was* able to help (and who provided great service). I appreciated his willingness to provide info that enabled me to rapidly solve my problem, rather than just saying, Nope. All booked up, and hanging up- a mark of a quality person and business! I was at first a bit intimidated by DJ Plumbing. I walked in soon after opening on a weekday, and was the only one there not belonging to one of the numerous plumbing trucks outside. Everyone else was coming to pick up a long list of items they had ordered ahead of time, using jargon and shorthand for each item. I had a plastic shopping bag with a broken pipe I couldn't tell you the width of.
I was helped quickly, though, and was NOT treated like the idiot I am. I left with the item I needed, a wrench for the job, and had my sink drain fixed minutes after getting home. Everything was relatively cheap, too.

We had a major issue with our kitchen sink drain that couldn't be fixed with Drano. Due to holidays, it was hard finding someone to come out or the rates were very high. Robert got us a very reasonable quote and scheduled us for the earliest time next morning. Fast and quick!they cleared the first clog but they couldn't clear the main sewer line bcoz it needed some digging and they don't do digging!!

The plumber I received was extremely and unreasonably rude. Thought I should write a review about it. Tells me that he knows what he is doing and he in fact, did not. I needed 1 part replaced but he acted like it was life or death. I wouldn't use their service ever if I were you.
