We had a water main leak and the DEP gave me a notice to have it fixed in three days.  I kind of freaked out and started calling a bunch of companies but only got somebody will get back to you ASAP or the guys who did show up made me feel like they were trying to get one over on me.  When I called Main Man Scott picked up right away and was able to give me a lot of information over the phone. I was impressed with how knowledgeable and on top of things he was especially compared to the others.  The pricing wasn't that far off from what some of the others were quoting but after coming to give the estimate he made me feel comfortable that everything would be taken care of properly.They showed up first thing the next morning and everything was finished by the time I got back from work.  They also seemed to make the extra effort to clean up afterwards.  Hopefully this problem doesn't come up again but if it does I know who the first person I will call will be. I had a leak in the basement from a broken pipe. Responded quickly to request for a quote. Showed up and did a great job for a fair price. Highly recommend to anyone in need of plumbing service

I have no idea how I could add more superlatives.  I have had such bad experiences in my 30 years in NYC.  Robert was amazing in every way.  He was always on time.  His work was incredible and the price reasonable.  And he made certain i was satisfied.  I recognize that I am meticulous.  Robert exceeded my highest expectation.  I hope I don;t need a plumber anytime soon but i will always use Robert.

Great guy fixed our shower leak, and draining sink issues replaced whole fixture and declogged it dealt with unusual plumbing that was in place reversed hoses and other stuff. Also very nice and accommodating with a nice sense of humor. Experienced plumber which quickly knows what tools and products he needed to not waste time, and quickly solve the problem. Accepts credit cards things cost about $100-200 for labor.

Pete and James were respectful, punctual and efficient. I had an issue with my steam heat system and they came and diagnosed and fixed the problem under an hour. They provided an abundance of information while they were here. I will be using them again.

While there are undoubtedly many plumbers in the NY area who have the technical ability to do a job well, what's much harder to find is someone who can both do a job well and whose judgement can be fully trusted.

We had an incredibly positive experience with Blaustein Plumbing. We have custom, European plumbing fixtures (installed by previous owners) that are so specialized many plumbers don't understand how to fix them. I was recommended Blaustein Plumbing by a Plumbing and Hardware store that sells the specialized parts we needed. They charged a VERY reasonable (relatively speaking) flat fee per hour and are far more experienced and knowledgeable compared to other plumbers I've worked with. They're also super courteous, in addition to the mask, they put booties on before entering the apartment, gave me advice on how my building's super could fix certain items or issues (so I wouldn't have to spend the money calling a plumber). It was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend this plumber.

Our kitchen needed remodeling. Honestly, my wife and I purchased a new kitchen countertop and we were looking for someone install it. Samir by far is a great choice. He made us feel very comfortable, answered all our questions, and also suggested a few other options. The installation was quick, neat and perfect. He educated us throughout the installation and has a great sense of humor. You can tell that he really enjoys his work and understands what the customer needs. Definitely a great choice. Although I've never done official business with Friedman & Son (thus the 4 star rather than 5 star review), I greatly appreciated the fact that they helped me with a useful referral. I called for an emergency bathroom repair and although Friedman wasn't available during the time frame I needed, he graciously referred me to a friend of his at another company who *was* able to help (and who provided great service). I appreciated his willingness to provide info that enabled me to rapidly solve my problem, rather than just saying, Nope. All booked up, and hanging up- a mark of a quality person and business! Best service Ive ever had from a business.I had a problem with the DEP not accepting my backflow test results due to the initial test being filled out incorrectly by a Build it Back architect,Tom and his staff did all the legwork contacting all the parties involved and rectified the situation.They saved me a lot of money in fines,And also saved me from having to hire another architect.They asked for nothing in return,even though they spent alot of time and energy on my case.

One afternoon I was walking by and realize they sell Girl Scout cookies. Well, I don't need a single plumbing supply but  I was happy to find cookies. Costumer service was friendly and helpful and I didn't feel uncomfortable  being a woman walking in there. Head to DJ plumping for your Plumping and cookie needs. HAHA

This is my first time to call this guy to help, our air conditioner was not working . He really knew  how to fix it and very responsible, Plus , the price is affordable. Highly recommended!

Really rude and unhelpful. Just needed one part and they were going to charge extra bs fees for handling. Do yourself a favor and buy exactly what you need online
