I am so glad that after researching several companies and asking around, I decided to call Scott from Main Man. Our main water pipe broke and water was leaking from the walls into the basement. It got worse and fast. Luckily we redirected the flood of water coming in towards the sewer basin or else we would be flooding. Stressing out, the whole family was digging dirt from the crawl space and moping the basement floor. It was labor intensive and a highly stressful time for us.

I called Scott on Sunday. Send him pictures and videos over the phone. He came Monday, and he came earlier to assess the situation and gave me a quote. He really is a nice and supportive business owner towards his customers. He was professional and always texted me when his crew was coming and what's the next step. He took care of all the permit and advised us from day one. I am very grateful.

The crew was wonderful. Everday, six of them came. They were punctual, clean, and worked so hard. Special shoutout to David and Juan (professional, attentive, and courteous).They showed me I can trust them and the integrity of their work. They were meticulous of the repair and of other resident's property. When they leave, the worksite is neat and guarded until they return next day. They even helped me push my car parked in front of my house into the driveway when the battery died so they can dig in that spot. Day one, they found the broken lead pipe and stopped the water from coming into my basement. There were a lot of tree roots underneath the property/foundation. Day two, they took the lead pipe and installed copper pipes and fixed everything. Day three, they finished the road and sidewalk. They were also kind enough to pour cement over the hole we made on the porch. Not only do they get the job done, they go beyond to help you as much as they can. They were diligent and professional. Thank you Scott and the Main Man crew.

Our toilet had a stoppage in the middle of the night. After consulting with multiple plumbers, Akeim of Sturks Sewer Works was able to clear the blockage and get the toilet back into functional order at a very reasonable rate. Thank you so much Akeim!

I have no idea how I could add more superlatives.  I have had such bad experiences in my 30 years in NYC.  Robert was amazing in every way.  He was always on time.  His work was incredible and the price reasonable.  And he made certain i was satisfied.  I recognize that I am meticulous.  Robert exceeded my highest expectation.  I hope I don;t need a plumber anytime soon but i will always use Robert.

Called 3 times and always got to voicemail. The owner did call back but missed. When I call back, still voicemail. Giving up now.

Mike from Austin Plumbing is great! called him at 8AM showed up promptly to help fix my heating pipe leak on a Sunday. Very detail oriented and made sure everything is okay. He seems very knowledgeable. Will definitely call him again for future plumbing needs. 5 stars

Let me just start by saying, Pete is a Godsend!
My Family and I are in the midst of a gut and reno and needed some plumbing taken care of. I had (2) other vendors on the line, one cancelled 15 minutes before scheduled appointment and the other....no response after initial communication. The latter is disgustingly unprofessional! I reached out to Platinum Plumbing and within minutes had a response, a quote and a scheduled appointment for later that same day. Pete showed up on time, summed up the task at hand and tackled it. All the while carrying a pleasant conversation with me.

Extremely flexible to our schedule, came out on a Saturday morning.  Quickly repaired shower and reasonable cost. Will use this company again!

Had a bolier issue and have been unhappy with the last, oh, ten plumbers we've used.   Asked around the neighborhood and everyone's response was Don't know, but if you find a good one give me their number!   I ended up getting Downtown's recommendation from a contractor who I trust, and my search is over. I was 80% sure  I didn't need anything replaced and they didn't try to throw expensive solutions out before they looked closely (been there too many times) or have even a hint of upsell during the call (ditto).  They knew what they were doing, solved the problem for a price I was happy to pay, and I was back in business.   Domenic has a great manner and is an excellent communicator.  Everything, from phone calls to figure when they could come to doing the job and filling me in on what I had going on was handled professionally and to the satisfaction of anyone's standards.  

Will definitely be using them from now on.

I would certainly recommend Colin.  He just installed a kitchen facet for us. Communicated well, showed up on time, and did an excellent job at a fair price.  Will certainly call him again if I have future plumbing needs.

We had an issue with a leak at our restaurant. No one was available.  When we called and spoke to the owner, not only did he make sure to get someone out right away. He followed up after to make sure we were taken care of.

Our kitchen needed remodeling. Honestly, my wife and I purchased a new kitchen countertop and we were looking for someone install it. Samir by far is a great choice. He made us feel very comfortable, answered all our questions, and also suggested a few other options. The installation was quick, neat and perfect. He educated us throughout the installation and has a great sense of humor. You can tell that he really enjoys his work and understands what the customer needs. Definitely a great choice. Have used IF&S twice now and they have done a nice work. They had to contend with some challenges with both jobs but they persevered to complete the task even if it meant coming back to resolve!

They provide exceptional and quick Backflow testing at a competitive price.  Tom went above and beyond to resolve additional issues arose after the testing. He is courteous and walked me through step by step to get the work done. Highly recommended to anyone who needs Backflow testing!

This was the best plumbing experience I've had in years. Oscar is smart, professional and timely. He got the job done at a very affordable price and didn't charge a visit/ inspection fee. Definitely recommend to all. He ran a snake for us and found the issue. Then he cleared it up and recommended other things we can do to save money.

They broke two of my sewer caps but what do you expect if it hasn't been touch for over 30 years.

very disappointed that I thought this guy is cheap or at least reasonable when most charge only $49.99 I feel he rip me off by charging me $350 cash for a 15 minutes job using just snake to clean the sewer see pic. this is exactly what he used to drain the sewer

At times you will see a van with advertising Drain Sewer for $49.99 because they only use snake (see pic) and it only cost $42.05 at Zoro this is exact Snake he used

He did not even use the professional machine (see pic) maybe I won't feel bad

He is a very sensitive guy too, he took advantage of my being naive and vulnerability since the basement is already flooded.

When I called his office the woman says it's a free estimate? his estimate is $350 and went to his van to get the small red snake (see pic)

Also, this company offer a 1-year warranty if they have to come back and Drain the sewer pipe again all I have to pay is $50.00 (all the time they have to re-do their draining) -

I will not recommend this company.

Really rude and unhelpful. Just needed one part and they were going to charge extra bs fees for handling. Do yourself a favor and buy exactly what you need online
