We had a leaking problem pipe in our basement! We called a lot of plumbers.

Scott returned our call promptly and came by the next day with a fair estimate. Then he came back the next day with a pipe camera to make sure the problem was as he had diagnosed.

Compared to other plumbers who either didn't return our calls, or scared us with huge estimates to fix much more than needed fixing, Scott focused on the problem and fixed it within a few days. He guaranteed his work for five years, which is very reassuring.

He was honest, fair, and knowledgeable.

Our toilet had a stoppage in the middle of the night. After consulting with multiple plumbers, Akeim of Sturks Sewer Works was able to clear the blockage and get the toilet back into functional order at a very reasonable rate. Thank you so much Akeim!

We had an issue with the gas line at my restaurant. There was a pin sized hole somewhere in the line and it was leaking out. Damion came down and within hours the hole had been found and the leak fixed. Not only was he professional but his great attitude kept everyone at ease through this obviously stressful time. I don't generally Yelp but couldn't pass this one up. If i could give 10 stars, I would. Excellent company and Damion could not have been better at what he does. Highly recommend.

Long story short...returned my phone call, showed up in less than an hour, diagnosed the issue and fixed it same day...could not ask for more.

I called multiple plumbers in the area and only one returned my phone call, that was Eddie of Recommended Plumbing. I called to have a leaking toilet fixed due to an improper install and repair from another plumber. Since I was at work, he sent me a video explaining what the issue was, which gave me comfort. Most importantly, the leak is fixed and no longer an issue. The fast response and great customer service was icing on the cake. Would highly recommend.

I have been satisfied every time I've used Austin Plumbing and Heating. They have always completed work on time and within budget. The work they have done has always been up to code and passed inspection. I highly recommend them!

I believe it was Pete who responded to my call for help with water leaking from the main floor's bathroom to the finished basement, damaging the ceiling. He was punctual! () He found out the water was from the toilet, and first told me that the pipe might need to be replaced. Then he removed the toilet bowl and discovered that all he needed was a pipe sleeve which he had to go to a supply store to buy it. He came back fairly quickly (I live near Lowe's) and fixed the problem right away. I was happy that it did not turn out a big and expensive job and he was honest about it! (). When he opened the ceiling in the basement, he was very careful and took into the consideration that it will need to be repaired (once before another plumber hammered down a huge ceiling area unnecessarily which cost me so much more) (). He noted in the invoice his suggestion on the ceiling access panel and size (). Finally, he cleaned up areas in the basement and main floor bathroom. Did not look like a plumbing job was done! (). As for the price, I believe it was quite reasonable. I call him a good plumber by the old days' definition and am very happy to have found one finally!

Our kitchen sink was not draining well so I called these guys in the morning and spoke with their answering service, in less than 2 hours Dominic and his partner were at my door (granted their shop is not far from us). They quoted me two prices, best case and worse case scenarios. They tried the first fix, it didn't work, so proceeded to remove the trap to snake the line. That didn't work completely the first time, but two more attempts did the trick and some nasty stuff came out. The drain seems to work fine now. I paid the quoted price and am satisfied with the plumbing work. I appreciated their diligence, the only complaint I have is they severely scratched my hardwood floors, (originally I thought they were just scuffs on the floor from the work boots, but they have proven to be permanent). I'm now not sure if it was their boots or other equipment that made the marks, but I have been unable to buff or clean them off. My original 5 star rating has been reduced to 3, as I will now have to hire someone to fix the floor.

I have used Colin Lee for a number of plumbing issues in my apartment. He replaced a faucet in my bathtub and in my kitchen sink and he also fixed my toilet. Colin is very responsible, very responsive and great to work with. He gives an honest assessment and his prices are great. I highly recommend him.

Our kitchen needed remodeling. Honestly, my wife and I purchased a new kitchen countertop and we were looking for someone install it. Samir by far is a great choice. He made us feel very comfortable, answered all our questions, and also suggested a few other options. The installation was quick, neat and perfect. He educated us throughout the installation and has a great sense of humor. You can tell that he really enjoys his work and understands what the customer needs. Definitely a great choice. Although I've never done official business with Friedman & Son (thus the 4 star rather than 5 star review), I greatly appreciated the fact that they helped me with a useful referral. I called for an emergency bathroom repair and although Friedman wasn't available during the time frame I needed, he graciously referred me to a friend of his at another company who *was* able to help (and who provided great service). I appreciated his willingness to provide info that enabled me to rapidly solve my problem, rather than just saying, Nope. All booked up, and hanging up- a mark of a quality person and business! Three weeks ago I had contracted Cheap John's to clear a stoppage,by the time he got here the water went down but I asked him to service my sewer anyway. He went to his truck and came back with a hand drill operated snake with auger which you would use for a sink. When I  pointed out that the auger w as to small and snake to short he assured don't worry it's guaranteed. Well it backed up again and when I called he said it would be $90. When I told him it was still under the 30 day coverage. He said that's only during business hours.
If you are looking for a company to do the job the first time don't call Cheap John.

Bought a portable dishwasher, and the device that connects to the sink didn't seem to fit my sink. I went to AE on the recommendation of a local hardware store that wasn't able to help me out.

Turns out, I wasn't doing it the right way and it did fit. They helped me out free of charge, despite the fact that I was a retail client instead of a contractor, who seem to be their typical customers. I appreciated the honesty and quick service!
