A fantastic and kind person, who showed up for a house call within 15 minutes of initiating a call, on a cold & rainy Sunday evening. The work was thorough, & he walked us through the plumbing issue that was causing the leak in the kitchen sink; fixed it and gave us tips on how to better monitor our plumbing going forward. Also followed up on his work to confirm things were functioning as intended a few days later. A comforting experience from beginning to end.

Excellent service. I called him and explained the issue. He was so courteous and helpful. He was able to fix the issue and he is the only plumber I will call. I love the service.

Recently, my wife and I experienced one of the worst ways to wake up in the morning. With a stuffed up toilet. A mess all over the bathroom, with a nasty clean-up ahead. We called American Sewer, and right away you knew they were pros... asking questions that would determine if this was a problem with the toilet... or the sewer. They were correct in it being a sewer issue.

Problem was, they were booked (this was a Friday, and we were expecting weekend guests... ugh!). But Richard called back when he found he had extra time and was here by midday. Any homeowner in the same situation would be as happy as we were to see him!

Very quickly, he found and fixed the problem. He was quick and clean. The service was at a very reasonable price.

As I told him as he left... I hope I don't have to see you again soon! If you have a sewer or drain problem.. make this your first call!

Friendly, reliable, and responsive handyman. He got the work done efficiently and we are very happy with the quality of work! He has already completed multiple jobs for my moms house and I only found him two weeks ago. He put up a new towel rod through tile, installed a new mailbox, fixed our leaky basement pipe, and helped with a minor repair on our screen door. Highly recommend for all the odd jobs you have around your home.

With the rain and the fact that it drains from our roof into the sewer system, we started getting a little rain water coming up through the floor drains in the basement. Then, on a Sunday, it got much worse and it wasn't just rain water coming up from the sewer line. We found Zoom through Guarini Plumbing in Jersey City, a sister company to Zoom, and they dispatched Keneth on Sunday afternoon. Keneth was professional, competent, and solved the problem. He took the time to show me on the video camera down in the pipes some other issues I may need to take care of in the future. I would definitely use Zoom again.

Poor customer service. Had an appointment set up for an estimate from 2-4. No show, no call, no email. Yet when I sent an email to say no one showed up, I got a response pretty quickly apologizing and saying that someone could be there within the hour. When I responded back ok, as long as it's within the hour.. I got another response saying they couldn't guarantee that. They're ALL on emergency jobs. Unprofessional and shady. Took my business somewhere else.

Steve came at the arranged time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it within a half hour.  He was affordable.

We had a huge sewer line blockage which almost flooded our basement; Mike came and found the issue and got started right away. He was so fast and efficient, by the time I came to see if everything was ok he was already done. He has great communication and extremely fair prices. He also explained to me what was wrong and power washed the front yard. Truly great service!

I called to get a quote for installing radiant floor heating a week ago.  The receptionist told me they're too busy to take on renovation projects right now.  I thought that'd be it and went and called other plumbers.

Today I got a call back from the owner, and we discussed at length about my project (even though we both know they won't be contracted to do it).  He gave me sound advice and a wealth of valuable information.  Very classy!  I wish I could hire them for the job!!

Tri-Star?  Better to Try Harder.  What do you get for a $250/hr professional?   Excuses & more excuses.  

It's bad business to have a 7 day COI turnaround because they couldn't copy the sample I sent.   Their EXCUSE, was that they don't offer COIs?!  Every NYC trade pro does, so that's lame.  They should have paid me for all the extra work and time I had to do just to get them to do it right.  

It's also bad business to wait around all day to have them cancel in the final hour.  Their EXCUSE, that they're an emergency business & schedules are subject to change.  I hope you will never need them for an emergency.  Am i paying for the responsibility to be understanding and accommodating them?

There were almost too many unnecessary mistakes that cost me more time & money, when all I required was a certified plumber to hook up a new stove!

I am tired of businesses that make like they are doing us a favor while overcharging.  A good business would take accountability & offer a small compensation or concession.  Their worst EXCUSE is why they didn't offer either.  They said Your job wasn't big enough.

You can belittle us, but consumers have a big voice today, and there are plenty of other plumbers out there to chose from.   As another professional in the business, I can not in good conscience make any recommendation or refer to use this company.

I was really impressed by Ricardo and his team. My in laws had a huge flood that wrecked two floors of their home and my husband had gone through a few contractors that were not fitting the bill (am being polite of course) but these guys really did an amazing job.  Highly recommend them!

Called Jay from JV MECH with a toilet issue. He came over the next day, quickly diagnosed the issue, gave me a couple of different options and then proceeded to resolve the problem!  He was excellent at communicating the problem to me and then explaining what he had to do to fix it.  He worked quick, cleaned up afterwards and charged me a reasonable price.  He does charge to visit but that price is deducted from any repairs he makes during the visit.  Overall, I was very happy with the job.  Thank you, Jay!

Had the guys from Plumbwell install all the plumbing and fixtures for a new bathroom. They did a fantastic job. From day one, Bob (the owner) was at the job with his crew and went over everything. Every step of the way these guys did a great job. They are polite, efficient, fast and neat! The job was on the top floor of my house through my bedroom and each time they came there were drop cloths laid out to protect all my floors. Very pleased with the end result and would definitely use again.
