Came out looked at the job a month ago never heard back. Left several messages and am still waiting.

I've hired Jim Richard for several jobs in my home in Somerville and am very satisfied with his work. Jobs included: new plumbing both gas and water lines for a kitchen and bath renovation. He also replaced a large portion of my house's vent stack. Jim is trustworthy because he arrives when he says he will arrive, and answers emails/texts promptly.

Called for shower head and got it fixed quickly and received great service !

Called on Sunday, got the problem checked Monday &  resolved on Tuesday. Second time & again received great customer service and a few options to fix my problem which I appreciate. Will make my go-to 10/10!

These plumbers are nice, fair, and, do good work. They were really polite to us, even though I left a mess in the walkway outside with gardening stuff (nobody should have to step in my pile of dead slugs on the way to the basement) and my youngest kid wanted to watch some of the installation of our new water heater. They came on a Saturday and explained how some of the stuff in our basement works, as in where the big drain is for letting out water if the basement ever floods.

We contacted Terry when during our house buying process when we needed a estimate on a plumbing issue the inspector noticed. He did the plumbing inspection for free, gave us an estimate, and fixed the problem after we moved in. He did great work and we would call him again if we had a problem.

We have a 9 year old gas fireplace insert. I have cleaned the glass every spring, but apart from that it has never needed service. Last fall it started taking 5 - 10 minutes st start, so I searched Google looking for causes. I tried a few fixes, but again this fall it started doing it again. I found Berlanger and Sons on Facebook and made an appointment right there on Facebook! So easy and convenient.  Steve came over this morning and diagnosed the issue in under 5 minutes! Turned out it was the wall switch - I would have never even thought that could be the issue. Steve fixed it, tested it, tested the stove for carbon monoxide, cleaned it, cleaned up the area he worked in and left. It was so very easy! We have found a new plumbing & heating company! Thanks, Steve!

L.B. responded to my voice mail quickly, and was able to come ahead of the originally scheduled time.  He was able to provide a quote immediately on the phone, which allowed me to hire him immediately.  He completed the work in under an hour, and was able to explain everything to me in a clear and professional manner.  I appreciated his insight, professionalism, and workmanship.

l called two weeks ago.   left a message saying l needed  two water meters installed.  l guess they are to busy to even return a call.
Will not call again.

Looked on Yelp for a reputable plumber. Came across P. Floros because of the great reviews. Called and was able to immediately tell Floros about the issues that were occurring at my house and was also hoping to get my furnace inspected. P. Floros was upfront that he did not know whether he could attend to the furnace; I appreciated his honesty. Before hanging up, we agreed I would send photos of the furnace and water heater so he could better determine whether he could attend to the furnace. After doing so, he informed me he might be able to help. So, I tried to schedule a time (on two separate occasions, the second one was a few days after our first correspondence) that he could stop by; I informed him I was available anytime.

Unfortunately, he did not follow through in scheduling despite my attempts. I think that P. Floros is probably a busy person who attends to many people, many of whom have urgent needs. I presume that I was forgotten since I did not have anything that was immediate.

Knowing my plumbing issues weren't urgent compared to others, I understood if I would have to wait a few days to get my plumbing issues addressed. At the same time, I would have appreciated if P. Floros at least gave me a time frame rather than forgetting or potentially seeing my plumbing issues as unimportant. At the writing of this, it has almost been a week since our last correspondence.

Lamattina's plumbing has come through time and time again.  The do everything right and only have to do it once.  They've recently done my heating system, hot water heater, a pipe repair, toilet swaps and have been nothing but excellent.  When they're done - you can't even tell they were there.  I highly recommend.

Van saved our Thanksgiving! The pipe leading to the kitchen sink was clogged and he was able to snake the pipe and clear out the problem quickly. We thought it was a lost cause trying to get someone to come out the evening before Thanksgiving, but we found Alligators Rooter on Google and Van was at our apartment within an hour.

We were having trouble with one of the heating zones in our home. Technician Peter K. diagnosed the problem and quickly resolved all our issues. He was very professional, kind and helpful. Great experience! Bob C. Braintree MA.

Took forever to get an appointment (and only called them because a neighbor referred us to them), then five minutes before they were supposed to be at the house they call out sick with no replacement....waited two more weeks, they promised first appointment at 7:30am...no call no show...I finally called and got the run around..waited til 3:30 for them to tell me they are done for the day....What kind of people do this...If your time is valuable then skip these guys.

Not sure about this corp.  They clearly pay off Google.  I called for a frozen drain pipe.  The answering service said that they don't cover my area.  I'm in Metro West.  I keep trying to search for anyone other than them on Google, I find a 24 hour plumbing service that brings me right back to Roto-Router.  This time the operator puts me on hold for twice as long and sets me up for next day service between 8 and noon.  She doesn't know why they said that they don't cover my town.  The service calls me the next day at 10 am and tells me that they don't have any plumbers and their technicians don't do frozen drain pipes.  They were willing to send someone out though and charge me for a visit.  (No thanks!)  I called Dowd Plumbing instead and they were awesome.

I got Donners Mechanical's contact information from Republic Plumbing Supply.  I was looking for a local company (Allston/Brighton).  My tenant's steam boiler went out at 7pm before the Jan 27, 2015 blizzard, talk about bad luck.

I waited until after the storm to contact a plumber.  I tried Boston Standard, they said they were booked during the storm and had to decline to come out unless it was an emergency.  

They charged me $135 for them to diagnose the problem.  I agreed and 2 plumbers came out within a few hours.  I got scared because I was reading Robert C.'s review how they charged him double because of 2 people.  I called Donners Mechanical, the secretary forwarded me the call to a head plumber who was surly and short with me.  I asked him if I was going to be charged for 2 plumbers.  He said I said $135, didn't I?!.  

Other than that, the experience was very professional.  The plumbers told me what was going on in real time.  What he was doing, why it's not working right now, etc. . . My only hang up is pricing and contracts.  I didn't sign a contract to agree to have the work done at a specific price.  No receipt for when I paid by check, even though they said they accept credit cards.  The contract to have work done protects both me and the company, since everything was agreed by voice and over the phone.  However, if they're honest and don't sway from their pricing, I will continue to use them.

He has replaced a water heater for us and completed some other plumbing repairs in our condo. Very responsive and really nice guy.  Highly recommend.

I need a Plummer to connect a cold water line for my refrigerator. I asked a community group for recommendations and was Sharp was a good company. Went on their site in the evening and had a response in the morning. Spoke to Ranna who was wonderful to deal with. I got an appointment the same day. Carlos was professional and friendly. He didn't leave until he know the job was complete. He arrived wearing a mask, gloves and shoe covers on. Aside from being a great company they were less expansive than other estimates I received

Very disappointed with this company.  Called 2013 spring for a Spring tune-up on my central AC unit.  The technician's advice was to have the blower clean (the most expensive job).  I agree to have the job done given the fact that the previous winter my energy bill was very high.  A week later we had a heat wave and the unit failed.  The technician to do the most basic checks.  I called the company to check the unit again and they found that the unit was very low in Freon.  I contracted another company to do the job who offered to do it $140 less.  I also had signed up for their PANN protection plan.  I was basically hooked for 6 months.  I called to cancel the plan and the representative told I needed to send an e-mail to cancel the plan.  I send the e-mail to cancel and the next month they still charged my credit card.  Shame on this company.  They only care about making money out hard working families.
