I had a great experience using Frank for his plumbing skills. I called him on a Thursday night and he called me back immediately. He came the next morning to fix the issue which was a fireplace gas leak. It was a very difficult task considering the confined access
point, but he completed the job through persistance. I most certainly recommend Frank to anyone searching for quick, honest and efficient plumbing services.

I own an old multi-family home in Dorchester and Larry Darcy has been my plumber for many years.  As I said, my house is old, and the pipes are called galvanized.  I'm not sure what that means, but I don't think it is good. Its just old.  Anyhow, Larry and or his son, Larry Jr have been to my home often - so much so I've given them keys.  

They installed 2 new boilers which have saved me a ton of money, they've cleaned out my shower and sink drains.  Larry and his son are both excellent plumbers.  They are reasonably prices and show up when they say they will.  They are also very pleasant and trustworthy.  I highly recommend them,

Our main drain clogged between the cleanout and the septic tank last evening. I called John's this morning at 7:30 and by 9:30AM Pat had shown up, diagnosed, and cleared the roots from the pipe and we were back in business. Coming in this time of stay at home, we were quite appreciative of the fast, friendly, and cost-efficient service. I hope we don't need their services for years, but I highly recommend them to others!!

Thompson Plumbing is awesome! Great customer service and competitive prices. I got quotes from two other plumbers and Thompson was the best deal. I left a message and received a call back the same day. Joey came out the next morning to give me an estimate and offered to do the job later in the day. Pleasantly surprised with the quick turnaround! He and Billy disconnected my water filter system (made the pressure weak) in 10 minutes.  I now have normal running water. Thanks, guys! Highly recommend them.

I found this company on yelp , they had alot of good reviews so decided to try them. I was not wrong this company is the best, prompt and reasonably priced. I would most definetly recommend them to anyone that asks.

I had a problem with my boiler- Andrew offered to come out right away, and unlike other plumbers was happy to give a free estimate of what needed to be done. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the work. He was flexible about scheduling, and did the work promptly. Will most definitely call him again. Highly recommend!

We had an ongoing leak from our second floor bathroom through the ceiling on the first floor.  I appreciated that Welter communicated about what he would do to diagnose the problem, to appropriately set the expectations of the work.  During the process, at each turn he would take the time to explain what he had done, what he had found and what he recommended for a resolution.  I was very happy with the work he did and for the recommendations he provided.  While I certainly do not want any plumbing problems in the future, I would look to hire Welter, again, to get them resolved.

We have had the pleasure of using Charlie Murphy's plumbing services for the last 11 years. He is not only an awesome plumber but a great guy.  He is amazingly reliable, trustworthy and professional and his rates are reasonable. He has always been available whenever we have needed him. He is quick to figure out the plumbing problem and will immediately find a solution. Charlie is a people person who loves what he does and as a result, even though we are clearly calling him because of a problem, we are happy to see him.  He cares about his work and his clients. I highly recommend him.

Our 9 year old hot water heater sprung a leak or cracked and needed replacement ASAP. I requested several quotes via Yelp and their price came in the middle range. Pat came by within a couple hours after confirming we wanted them to do the job. Your mileage may vary since we are both in Quincy (although it's great to support local).

The job was done quickly and efficiently (I attached some photos of the completed job). Pat was personable and friendly.

The next day, we noticed some water pressure changes. Pat came out within 30 minutes to diagnose our problem, no questions asked. It was due to sediment buildup in the pipes and not from their workmanship. Their follow-on service is good - they don't leave you hanging if something needs to be checked out again.

It appears the quickest way to communicate is via text through their phone number. We paid by check and our receipt was by email.

EDIT: The water heaters they install are NOT mass save eligible. Be wary if you're looking for a rebate!

we had an oil burner service company for 20 years and the owner retired a few years ago.  we thought we would never find that level of service again. we decided to convert to natural gas, and we used mainstream mechanical. we also installed a whole house generator.  these guys do great work, are professional, and know their stuff!  we are always assured that no matter what time of the year, day or night, if we have a problem they are there!  we highly recommend mainstream.  Lisa and Richard M.

I would recommend Marc 12/10 to anyone who asks. We recently moved into an older home near Homestead Plumbing and were doing a major renovation in the kitchen which needed a lot of plumbing work to reroute things to their new proper place. We felt confident with Marc from the beginning, it's clear that he is a seasoned professional and his work only further proved that to me and my fiancé.

He was easy to work with and get a hold of and is with renovations sometimes unplanned things happen (and always at the last minute) and Marc was always accommodating and found time in his schedule to stop by and address things.

Marc (and his son Matt!) were always professional, kind, trustworthy, and respectful. I don't have a single bad thing to say. He really made a daunting project like our kitchen reno feel manageable and I always felt like we were in the best hands, and I really appreciate that.

Wanted to give some props to WCP. I have recently used them twice. A few months ago, my boiler stopped working. I brought in three companies for estimates. The first two told me my boiler was dead and promptly wrote me estimates for ~$8k. WCP showed up, drained something, and it's been working fine ever since.

So I called them back the other day when my garbage disposal stopped working. They could have shown up, told me it was fried, and charged me for a new one. Turns out they removed some glass that fell down the drain and all is well.

These guys have been honest with me and I will call them for all my plumbing and heating needs!

My (future) son-in-law has been raving about this company for the last two years, and pushing me to convert from oil to gas.  I finally gave them a call and ended up converting this January.  

From start to finish, dealing with Roberto Gallinelli (the owner) and Lisa (his daughter), as well as the installation staff, was a pleasure.  Their prices were fair, installation was on-time, and professionally accomplished, and they followed-up to make sure everything was working fine.

I recommend them wholeheartedly.

We had a great experience with AA Zack. We were an hour away from going out of town when a pipe leading to our water heater sprang a leak. We were able to reach them , and it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving! They had us take a photo of the problem, and they came right over and replaced the leaking pipe. I feel lucky that we reached them. The problem seems to be fixed, and we are happy with their work!

To be fair, I had tried to reach them a few months ago for another problem, and never got a callback, but this recent experience was 100% good.

If you like to pay 8 times the cost of any plumber, use Cranney.  We were
quoted $1,600 to replace a sprinkler valve and a local plumber replaced it for $200 including parts.
