Simon from High Quality Plumbing provided top-notch service, and I would recommend him to anyone who needs professional plumbing services.  His rates were very reasonable.  He recommended what needed to be done only but nothing extra.  His work ethic was very high, and he really focused on solving the problem I had.

I needed to have a commercial style toilet flush unit replacement work done at my condo.  While the replacement work itself was not complicated and laborious for a plumber who has a Master Plumber license, Simon made sure the work was done right the first time due to the number of people that was affected from the main water shutoff required at the condo building.  He came to my unit to take measurements and evaluate the issues before making an appointment with me and the building management to do the actual work.  He offered to purchase the flush unit for me or let me purchase it myself.  He told me beforehand that he did not intend to make any profits from the parts.  He merely provided the parts as a one-stop service for the customers.  His part prices were even cheaper than what I could buy on my own outside.  My condo building management had to change the appointment two times for the building water shutoff due to the logistics involved.  Simon was accommodating and provided us with other alternative dates and times that he would be available.  His communication was excellent.  All phone calls, e-mails and text messages would be responded or returned.  He provided his license and insurance coverage to the building management directly.  On the job day, he showed up on time and started working immediately without any delay.  He went down to the basement of the building to drain the standing water in the pipe after the building serviceman shut the main water off.  He laid something similar to rosin paper on the floor, making sure he left the work place as clean if not cleaner than before he started.  During the process, he explained to me why and how he did what he was doing.  Every step was done in details to ensure that he did not need to re-do it.  He had a much higher standard for his own work than I had expected.  After the replacement work was done, he carefully inspected any leaks and adjusted the unit to ensure that it functioned properly.  He tested the unit many times before calling the job done.  He cleaned up the work site at the end.

Simon is an honest professional that I would recommend hiring.  My condo building management required someone like him who has a Master Plumber license with insurance coverage before they let anyone touch the pipes.  You will not only appreciate the quality of his work, but also value his humble, unassuming personality.

My neighbor here in Hopkinton was having trouble with her toilets flushing and draining, she was referred to Wayne's Drains by her plumber and they came out and through systematic testing and deducing, they were able to determine that the problem was the outflow pipe into the Septic Tank was partially blocked. I called twelve plumbers when my boiler died on Patriot's Day. Steve, the owner of Champ Plumbing, was one of three who responded. He was on vacation with his family but he at least reached out and let me know when he would be available.

Long story, short. I used Steve and his crew to replace two problematic old boilers with two new boilers and two hot water heaters. It was a big job but I am thrilled with the way it turned out! Steve made recommendations as to what would work best for my apartments and the entire job went smoothly! He was organized, thoughtful and honest. He remembered every detail and threw in extra work at no cost. He cleaned up the work of a previously installed unit, descaled it and replaced some old copper pipes that he kept banging his head on :) Always showed up and followed up on everything!

I really can't recommend Steve enough if you need a plumber or a new heating system! He's the best we've worked with!!

I booked an appointment for 5 days out. Never called, never showed up.  When I called, was told I wasn't in their system. Unbelievably inconsiderate of my time. Had to take a useless work day off. Would NEVER use them.

Addition: I did get a message from the owner and he did try to make things right. Unfortunately I had already booked another plumber and used them.

I have never in my life met a team so passionate at their job.  We needed a water heater replaced in our house as well as some other areas issues looked at/fixed.  Once we called Landmark we were completely taken care of.  We were met at the house and provided options that ranged in prices (with no upset pressure), they educated us on current requirements for venting (3 duct to a now required 4 duct), as well as provided us some good insights into how the water system works in general.  Clearly knowledgeable.  The quote they provided was never exceeded and we were provided options when looking at water heaters.  We chose the one we wanted and before you knew it the team was at the house, early on a beautiful Saturday morning ready and eager to get to work.  The work was done beautifully.  Not only did we have a new water heater installed (which looks darn good I must say), they installed the new venting ducts as well as shored up ALL the pipes in the basement (something they certainly did not need to do): insulated this one, clamped down that one, checked the water pressure here and removed excess pipes there.  A dream team.  

Quoting and invoicing is done through FreshBooks which makes the entire transaction paperless and easy.  Pricing was unbelievably fair for the work done.

These guys have not only earned our trust, but have earned lifelong customers as well as references.

Green Energy Mechanics installed an AC system for us. They were great to work with, pragmatic in their approach and gave several options for hardware choices. The AC is working well, the duct work has been done in a way that is least visible and the unit is very quiet.

Our drain was clogged with roots and Jason did an awesome job cleaning it up! He throughly explained the process to us and even gave us some recommendations for future steps. He was very helpful! Recommended the company!

I've been pondering on writing a review.  Decided to do it because I don't want anyone else to have this experience and I'm still cleaning the sewage left indoors and outdoors. Tried this company based on referral and reviews to clear clogged main sewer line- cleared...no problem!! However my basement white walls were left stained with sewage.  I had a cleaned shop vac that I was planning to take to my garage to vacuum my car the next day.  The basement smelled horrible the next morning so when I traced the smell I discovered he used it to clean the sewage and left some in there.  My blind dog had gone out into the backyard and came back in, leaving smelly paw prints on the floor.  When I traced it, I discovered he emptied the sewage on my fenced in back lawn along with his dirty glove.  I left my dog kennel tray in the basement to see how much water was leaking from the ceiling earlier that day. He used it and left sewage all in and around the tray. Two days of cleaning left behind sewage for an additional $75 charge for a Saturday on top of a pricy job.  Truth is I've had this done before at my current location for $110 less and no signs of sewage left inside or outside my home.  Didn't initially mind paying the higher $360 bill vs $250 normally but to see all this the next morning...Disappointing.  For this extra cost I would think the service would be superior at the least.  I think I'll stick with my septic clog guys in the future only wished they weren't overbooked at the time. Cleaning my shop vacuum, walls, toilet paper debris off pipes, washing floors and carpet paw stains and diluting the yard patches of sewage...the level of clean up behind this is not worth it. I've never experienced this lack of consideration or professionalism as a 30 year home owner.  I would not hire them again. Good lesson though not all service companies are the same - check premises before they leave.

There was leakage around my garage disposal- I looked up Yelp and spoke to a couple of plumbing companies in the evening. Bill from Clark Plumbing was extremely helpful and gave me good advise. He gave me an appointment  for the very next morning and promptly at 9 am Scott arrived and replaced my garbage disposal within an hour. Scott also looked at a leakage in my bathroom and gave me advice.
Scott was extremely friendly and professional. He did an excellent job.
The charges were very reasonable and the work is excellent! They seem like a very ethical team who are not prolonging a job just to bill clients more money. Infact, Scott did the work under an hour and also gave me useful tips on maintenance!

Mike repaired our hot water baseboard heat pipes which burst during the February 3-5, 2023 cold snap. He came in the same day as we called him and did a great job! We are grateful for his prompt and professional service.

Repaired a broken valve for hot water in kitchen sink. Called Joe and he had someone at the apartment within a few hours. Professional and honest service. Reasonable rates for service call and labor. Highly recommend!

Jim was recommended to us by a colleague.  They were impressed with his work.  We were equally impressed with the work he has done for us.

Specifically, Jim converted our home from an oil boiler to natural gas fired system.  Our house is over 100 years old and required Jim to accurately size our system to order the new boiler as well as install it.  He also lined up the necessary other tradesmen for the project and pulled the necessary permits from the town.  We needed a chimney service to install a liner for our chimney, an oil tank removal service, removal of the old boiler and an electrician for wiring upgrades.    

Jim lined up these contractors and accomplished the installation in less than one day!

We also used Jim for a needed repair recently. He was easy to contact and schedule and very fair with pricing.  

I have a little experience in the trade having worked as a plumbers helper a few summers for my brother-in-law, a master plumber in PA.  In my conversations with Jim I quickly came to the conclusion that he was 100 percent on the mark with his estimate of the situation and recommendations for the job.

I do not know anything about plumbing, or whether or not performance-wise this company does a good job, but I do know one of the employees is a creepy wacko.  

After my boyfriend let the guy in, he left for work and I was home alone with the employee, who hit on me (inappropriate much?).  When I told my boyfriend, he called the place and spoke to the owner, who explained he understood, since he had numerous similar complaints.  Seriously?  

The fact they continued sending a weirdo pervert to people's homes after getting complaints makes this business one-star worthy.

Work is good and reliable BUT they inflate the number of hours the plumbers worked on the job. This is an ongoing problem. Their response to complaints about this is snippy and arrogant. Would use them again because the work is good but would watch the time on the job carefully.

McCarriston Plumbing & Heating came highly recommended to us from neighbors and friends.  Unfortunately, they did not live up to their reputation.  They were supposed to install a shower handle for us.  I took the day off of work in order to be available to the company at a time that worked for them.  When the plumber arrived, he said there was not time to do the work and promised someone from the office would call to reschedule the appointment.  No one ever called.  He and I discussed him potentially coming on a date later that week.  I called the company on that day to confirm that indeed, they were not coming (as I'd not heard from them).  I was told they were coming.  I reminded them that no one had informed me of the appointment time or date.  When the confirmed and rescheduled date and time arrived, I took another day off of work to be available and let them into my home.  McCarriston did not arrive.  I called them only to be told they had called me three times (though no missed calls appeared on my phone) and that they would have to reschedule.  

McCarriston Plumbing has now cost me two days of work and I still have a faulty shower head.

I've used them in the past and liked them, so they've been my go-to plumber. But this last time, the plumber they sent seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. I had replaced a toilet myself but it rocked so I called them. The plumber was a younger guy than they had sent in the past. He told me the flange needed replacing, which he did. But after he left the toilet still rocked so I had to call them again and they sent someone else to fix it.

The second problem he fixed while he was here was that water was dripping out the bathtub spout. He replaced the control valve which fixed the problem. I have no complaints about that. But he also replaced the spout without asking me first so that it would match the control valve. The new spout was a little smaller in diameter and you can see the edges of the opening. He also did not use any sealant or caulk (see pic).
