Work was done in two parts:
Initially raised ceiling in kitchen, moved washer and dryer to garage from kitchen, installed new lighting, and painted.
Second part involved total kitchen remodel with removing walls to create open space; new cabinets, granite, lighting.
MK remodeling did a beautiful job remodeling my kitchen. I had my kitchen gutted and completely redone. They are very professional; they completed the kitchen in a timely manner and went out of their way to make me happy. Kristina designed my kitchen; she has a natural talent for understanding what you want (and has excellent taste). Mike is wonderful to work with and will always go out of his way to make sure things are done to your satisfaction.They made a big project easy by handling everything.
This honestly was not an inexpensive endeavor, but I am a believer in you get what you pay for.  This is the third time I have used MK remodeling and would absolutely use them again for any future project  that I may have.

You cannot get any better than Rodriguez Remodeling. This may sound dramatic, but they have literally saved me from a nervous breakdown and a near walk out of my own home. We suffered a plumbing disaster--yep, the worst you could get: collapsing sewer lines throughout the ground of our foundation and into the backyard. We were recommended a horrid company called Bingham & Murray Restoration--I won't get into it, but they are the worst. Fortunately, after all the new plumbing was relaid, (and mind your, Rodriquez/Roland did the concrete cutting as well, SUPERIOR work) Rodriquez came, yet again, to the rescue. Roland, Claudia, David, Alfonso and ALL STAFF are kind, responsive, communicate so well, AND they SHOW up and do fantastic work. It goes beyond just their physical work; they walk you through everything that can make your head spin (get that head screwed back on with kindness) and help you to get what you deserve from insurance. Everything is BEYOND & quality. I cannot say enough fabulous things about them. Thank you, to all at Rodriquez for literally helping me to get my life back again.

Q is literally the best handy man ever. Ever since the first day I hired him, he has tackled all of the crazy random jobs I've thrown at him quickly and professionally. I don't even feel right calling him a handy man as he is way more than that! On top all of that, he's super sweet. I will miss him and all of his amazing work when he leaves California. Damn you Arizona for stealing Q from us!!

Ghosted. Had an appointment for 6/28 10A - 11A timeframe. Several confirmation texts sent and approved. No call. No reply to texts. It's not just horrible business practice, it's a horrible way to treat people. That says a lot about the company to me.

Simply put, Mike Roberts and his team did a phenomenal job on our kitchen. We are completely thrilled with our results, and are very indebted to Mike and his team. Every aspect of the process was agreeable for us, from the original quote, to length of construction, to payment plan. Mike communicated very well and let my wife and I know what would be happening when. As this was my first major renovation, the certain power of horror stories from friends who have undergone similar renovations really biased my view against having such a major project done in my home. Mike reassured me, and followed through. He was communicative, had solid follow up, addressed my questions as I went along, and generally had subcontractors there when they needed to be there. He was also sensitive to the needs of a historic home, and the finished product, although modern, really does work well with the historic façade. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mike Roberts and the Second Avenue design team when considering your next home remodel.

I can't say enough good things about Kyle! He put my 3 pieces of furniture together in no time at all! Very reasonably priced! Kyle was courteous and friendly and he loves cats; so I knew he was a great guy! Give him a try and you won't be disappointed!

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

If you are looking for an Iron Door come to Eric! This couldn't be better! The quality is amazing and Eric was very experienced and professional! Communication was perfect and He actually showed up and finished on time. We couldn't be happier. Did I mention he was about half the price of any local Iron Door Company!

Very professional to say the least. family owned business thats professional and personable is hard to find. They came out and gave a free estimate in a timely manner. They were actually ahead of schedule to finish the projects. The workers were friendly and professional. The owner Youssef even reached out to me to make sure everything is to my demands. I would give 0 if I could. I sincerely wish that we had the positive experiences that other reviewers seem to have had... it is hard to believe they dealt with the same company. I would not recommend Atelier 507 to anyone, for any reason. I am writing this review because I've noticed an increase in Atelier507's advertising, and I think anyone considering this business should be aware of my family's experience.

We signed a six-figure contract with Bobby in December of 2020 for our home remodel. We ultimately paid that entire contract amount, plus about 60% more.

To this day, the work is not complete. Bobby abandoned the project before we were able to pass the City of Phoenix's inspection process. So, we have not been able to close out the permits with the City of Phoenix.

We were initially told that our home would be finished in March of 2021. It still isn't, 18 months latter. Bobby did find another company to complete the work when we informed him of our intent to file a complaint with ROC after he abandoned the project, so I am hopeful that we will be finished with this chapter in our lives soon. It has caused a lot of stress for our family.

The work that was completed required (and still requires) significant repair and "touch up" work. The work was rushed and not carefully completed. It seemed that Bobby wanted to complete the job as quickly and inexpensively (for him) as possible.

Some examples: The grout and drywall in and around our primary bath shower is severely cracking. The shower tiles themselves have begun to crack. The drywall around the title is cracking. The shluter around the shower niche is sharp and sticks out from the wall. Our child's bathroom tile has similar issues. The shluter around her tub is sharp and sticks out to the point that she recently cut herself while getting into the shower.

He purchased (basic, undoubtedly inexpensive, white) paint for the interior of the home without consulting us about paint color. We were told that was the color our walls would be painted, because the paint had already been purchased. The paint was thinly and sloppily applied.

The kitchen layout was not well planned. We are unable to open one of our refrigerator doors. We purchased our appliances prior to the remodel; still the kitchen design was not compatible with what we'd purchased. The kitchen backsplash was installed quickly and carelessly: the grout is cracking, and the square tiles are noticeably off center above the stove. The "under cabinet lighting" was screwed into our cabinets so that the sharp end of the screws were poking through the bottom of the cabinets.

Our plans included a pantry/mudroom, which had to be scrapped due to poor planning.

When we finally had no choice but to move in to our home in October 2021 (despite the fact that it was unfinished), we spent my. first few days there cleaning urine, grime, and pubic hair off of our "new" toilets. We still find cigarette butts in our yard. A custom-built entertainment center was damaged. A box full of our clothing was used as a trashcan (and cigarette receptacle). There is paint splattered on our flagstone patio and pool deck. Our kitchen cabinets were full of trash. The crew left behind their garbage and extra supplies for us to clean up.

We have paid Bobby every cent we owed. And when we were asked to make progress payments early to accommodate Bobby's vacations, we did. Still, when we expressed concerns, we were reminded of the fact that Bobby was "trying to run a business," that it "wasn't worth it" to him to have anyone come to our home to address issues, and that there was a "million dollar project" that was Bobby's priority. At the beginning, Bobby was professional and accommodating... that did not last.

I hesitated to post a review prior to our home passing a City inspection because I just want the project finished so that our family can move on. It's been a year since we moved into a construction zone, and this process has been a nightmare. I hope that sharing our experience helps others to make an informed choice.

How often can you say what an awesome experience remodeling a master bath was?
M2 just finished our master bath and it could not have gone smoother or turned out better. Mark really has his act together. He is on top of each job, communicating schedules and the work that will be done each day. His trades people are all excellent and have been with him for years in most cases. Clayton promptly responded the same day to our request for consultation and quote on the replacement of a pergola shade structure. He was very personable and pleasantly discussed multiple options for layout and materials. His quote was detailed and thorough. He leveraged a 5 man crew for the job in the interest of getting the job done professionally and in a timely manner. All the guys on his crew were great. We felt as if this group was taking care of us as they would their own families. They even cleaned the worksite cleaner than they found it. We will definitely call on Gusto Construction again and highly recommend them!
