Greg did a wonderful job helping us fix our doorbell system, that wasn't put in correctly by our alarm company. He was prompt and polite and did a good job answering all our many questions. He's also a great guy and we enjoyed visiting with him. He's definitely our new go-to for all our electrical needs, as our old electrician was unreliable.

We hired anytime handyman for installing our 8'x12' storage room and our 14'x12' gazebo in our backyard. They did a really good job on installing these 2 as these 2 items are not only very heavy but also come with complicated installation guide. They finished the installation by 2 days and we checked the two things, all finished with great quality and they also installed some hangers and bars inside the storage room, with very good details. We are very impressed by their work, and will definitely hire again in the future. Highly recommend them! (Check the photos to see how good the installation are:))

I had contacted Mark on Oct 27th to install a Emerson hi-tech ceiling fan. Despite his busy schedule he arranged for the installation next day. He followed it up with emails regarding the arrival time of his associate Jason. Jason did a great job in installing this complicated ceiling fan. Jason finished it it time and cleaned up the place before he left. Thanks for the job and I will gladly give 10 stars if one is available to these folks.

I didn't go looking for Jesse; he was recommended to me by the HVAC company that was putting in my new central air and heating. I needed to redo all the electrical in my house, since it had very old knob and tube wiring and I couldn't even put insulation in the attic on top of it. As it was, I had already picked out an electrician who I was going with, but the HVAC guys said such great things about Jesse that I had to meet with him. And I'm sure glad I did!
Jesse is a very straightforward guy. When you meet with him, he'll tell you all about himself, and his family, and his history, and how he became such an expert in the electrical field. At first you might thing TMI! But in the end, you realize that this is just Jesse trying to make you feel at ease with him, with no pressure to hire him, and he even makes it feel guilt-free if you decide to go with someone else.
The real irony here, though, is that Jesse turned out to be waaaay better than the HVAC company I hired. He was able to tell me ahead of time what they were doing wrong -- and how to fix it. In the end, they fixed every problem there was, and I appreciate that in a company, but it really helped to have Jesse there to give me a heads up.
Jesse worked on our attic during one of the really hot spells this summer. I dropped by the house during the high heat of the day, expecting the house to be empty because it was way to hot to work, but there was Jesse -- in the attic no less -- working and sweating his butt off. The HVAC guys, it should be noted, were no where to be seen! I didn't want to bother Jesse, so I left and returned around 8:00 p.m. that night to see how things had been progressing. Well slap my a** and call me Judy, but there was Jesse, still in the attic, still sweating, and still working his butt off! He really was/is the hardest working contractor I have ever seen (or likely will ever see!). I was truly impressed with his work ethic and sense of professionalism. But it doesn't stop there.
Jesse also has an encyclopedic knowledge of the electrical code, and can virtually quote chapter and verse of it. It was a joy to watch him yucking it up with the Code Inspector for the final inspection, and I could swear that he was finishing the inspector's sentences for him! There were some changes to the code that weren't supposed to go into effect until later in the summer, but the inspector wanted Jesse to implement them now. With no complaint, and with no extra charge, Jesse spent an entire additional day implementing the new code changes onto the work that he had already done. You do NOT get service like that these days, certainly not from a contractor!
Is Jesse infallible? Not really. He is human after all. He was not able to finish the job exactly on schedule, excluding the extra day for implementing the new code changes. But even this wasn't really his fault. The HVAC guys had hammered in some nails through three or four different lines in the attic (ugh!), and Jesse had to completely re-run those lines. He could have just spliced them at the cut, but he's way too professional for that. He never even complained about the HVAC guys doing that -- they told me about it (kudos to them for their honesty).
Jesse also did a great job of cleaning up after himself every day, which was really great. I did, at one point, blame him for the tremendous amount of drywall dust all over the floors, the walls, the furniture, etc. He explained that he cleaned up after himself every day, but all you had to do was look around at all the dust to wonder if he was crazy. Well, once again the HVAC guys confessed to making the mess. And they even offered to hire a professional cleaning crew to come in and clean it up (which we did!). Once I factored that into the equation, I realized that Jesse was in fact super clean in the limited amount of wall work that he did (i.e., he vacuumed up after every cut into the wall).
I try to write fair and balanced reviews to be helpful to people. I realize this review sounds like I'm trying to get a job for a close family member. But I'm not. Well, if I had to say there was a drawback to hiring Jesse, I guess it would be that he is a small company (just himself) and for larger jobs it will take a little longer. But his prices are definitely lower than the big companies, so it all washes out in the end. Oops. That turned into a plus. Well, all I can do is recommend that you meet Jesse, let him tell you his story and give you an estimate, and then you can make up your own mind about what I'm saying.
But I do highly recommend Jesse for any and all electrical work that you might have to do.

We needed 6 lights and a ceiling fan installed and reached out to a few businesses for a quote with pics included. Not only was Ivan one of the first to message back, but he was able to offer a prompt quote without additional back and forth questions or needing to physically come and assess (which was unlike many of the other businesses that responded, so to me showed competence in his craft). The quote was competitive, he showed up a few min early, was professional, and even brought his own shoe covers. Would definitely hire back for other electric jobs (he also specializes in HVAC), thanks so much Ivan!

I have used Brian Archbold as an electrician on many different jobs. He completely wired in my Photovoltaic solar system and is always responsive and knowledgeable. He is honest and has great staff.

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power. They actually had more reviews for the LA branch. I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.
OK, my story. I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely. I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc. I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco. I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job. No sales; no project managers. While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary. Mega Power does everything very fast. Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours). One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof. Installation of 24 panels was done within one day. City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire. Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours. Passed city inspection. Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story. Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that. Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive. Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication. Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady. I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

Natalie was 5-star! I had a pretty straightforward install of a EV charging unit, but placing it could have been a bit of a challenge. Not for Natalie. She was on time, and helped me find a safe and secure location for the unit. High quality work from an intelligent and motivated electrician. I highly recommend her.

My A/C went out so I called Service Champions to come out. They came out quickly which was appreciated. When the service tech got there he checked the system and started trying to sell me on new equipment right away before even looking at the condenser outside. When we got to the unit outside he said that he couldn't service it since it was next to a shed and that it is so old I might as well get a new one. He came back at 4:00pm that evening with a trainee to try and sell me a new system and quoted me over $8,000. I got other quotes from companies that included a new A/C system and furnace that were only about $5,000. Then, to top it off, the final person I had come out to check it out just changed the fuse and it kicked right up. Why couldn't Service Champions, who are supposed to be so good even just check the fuse before jumping to an $8,000 new system. I found it offensive and frustrating!!

These people are reliable and on time. When he says the job will be done by 1PM, it will be done and they are fair on pricong. We are very happy with the job they did.

Paul Kelly was our service technician today and gave us excellent service. Explained everything clearly, fixed two items that weren't working and did troubleshooting for some other issues. Highly recommended!

We found Cockrums Handyman Service on Nextdoor. I messaged him on Yelp and he answered quickly and was at my house the next day for an estimate. Returned to do the job later that same day and completed it for a reasonable price. He was on time and left the work area clean and we feel a good honest business man. We will definitely be calling him in the future for more projects! Thank you!

They do a great job explaining the project, gave a fair estimate, and their electrician did an amazing job! I know who I'll go to for my future needs.

Wilson is very professional and efficient. He helped me solve some issues with my rigid conduit requested by PG&E for my electrical panel upgrade. I needed help fast because this problem blocked my house remodel inspection. Wilson is very flexible to support my timing needed. And he did a great job fixing the issue. Highly recommended!

Sam is very professional. I called in to fix outlets in garage and I just paid the service charge. I called to have the work done on Saturday but he asked if I was available Friday night so that saved me a day! I plan on using their services again in the future!
