Called Greg based on the reviews on Yelp and I understand why he has nothing but 5 star rating! Super nice, professional, and EXTREMELY reasonable pricing! Came by a day early and got the job done quickly.  I highly recommend using Greg for any electrical need.  Its nice to have such an honest and efficient electrician such as Greg! Thank you Greg! Found an Electrician for all my future electrical jobs! =)

Sergei helped me to remove my old moulding and installed new ones. He was able to come help me out the next day with very a reasonable price. I'd hire them again for stuff I need in the house.

I think Precision Electric is perhaps overbooked and maybe that's causing problems.  This review isn't consistent with his other positive reviews.

We first scheduled work for about a month out.  I didn't mind because I wasn't in a rush.  The day before they were supposed to come out, I called to confirm, and they didn't even have it on the schedule.  Later Mark confirmed that he had the job in his records but it didn't make it to his calendar.  He apologized.

We rescheduled, Jason and Josh came out and did a wonderful job.  Mark admitted in a text to me Sorry if I sound frustrated but the workload has been extremely difficult to deal with.  Throughout, the job he complained about various issues.

At the end of the job, I had a check ready to pay him (the workers couldn't accept the check for him).  Mark didn't show up with the bill.  He emailed me the bill the next day and followed up with a text and voicemail further complaining about the difficulties of the job and how I should have selected one option of recessed lights rather than the second option.  He went on further to say how my selection was so outdated.  Very unprofessional.

I'm happy with the work and the results but not with the process of getting there.

Excellent service, fair price, prompt service.  Cant really ask for anything more than that.  Jesse knows his stuff.  He added an additional outdoor outlet for me on the side of my house and got the job done quickly and made it look like it was something that came with the house.  I would definitely re-hire him if I ever need any other kind of electrical work done.

Had to install a Tesla Wall charger and Ivan offered the best quote after a quick visit, provided his recommendation, booked an install appointment. The entire process was smooth, prompt communication, showed on time and performed a quality work. A+service. Will hire Ivan again and will refer him to my friends as well.

I could not have been happier about my experience with Brian and Archbold Electric.  He responded quickly to my call, and was able to fit into my somewhat difficult schedule (due to the fact that I was working around renters that were coming and going).  He made a number of suggestions that were immensely helpful and then did the work quickly and at what I felt was a really reasonable cost.  He brought in Chris to do some of the work and he also seemed great.  I highly recommend!

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

Natalie was 5-star! I had a pretty straightforward install of a EV charging unit, but placing it could have been a bit of a challenge. Not for Natalie. She was on time, and helped me find a safe and secure location for the unit. High quality work from an intelligent and motivated electrician. I highly recommend her.

Please reduce attitude that will help... no way contacting this guy again.  There are many other shops around you

Armando & Ivo upgraded the panel (100a to 200a) at one of my rental properties.  They also added 14/50 NEMA outlet for future EV charger in the garage.  Efficient. Responsive. Simply brilliant setup to avoid trimming an avocado tree, messy stucco work, and relocating downspout.  Best part - worry-free final inspection, permit approved.  My future electrical need == Call Orbis Electrical Works.

My wife wanted a quote for replacing an aging electric panel.
Their quote was 2-3 times higher than the competition.
They also tried the we need to sit together and discuss the old panel is a security issue pressure tactic to get you to sign on the spot.

Unrelated, my wife wanted to hang a ceiling lamp, there was a fan with lamp, they had to replace it with a lamp. Maybe 1 hour work.
They charged her $1200.
The guy was singing, chit-chatting, taking his time, basically dragging it out.

If you are rolling with cash, call them. The work gets done but it is your money. I probably won't be calling them again.

Ryan helped repair a shower valve and replace a motion light outside.  He gave me a reasonable and fair quote.  He is reliable and responsible.  I didn't have the correct part but Ryan went out and got it to finish the job.  I am very pleased with his work and will hire him again for future projects.

We used John Hope for one job.  They got a good deal of work done in the time they were on site.  I greatly appreciated how quickly they were on the job from the time I called and how productive and friendly they were on site.

Sam arrived quickly. Diagnosed the problem. Did everything I needed and gave me a senior discount. We now have a good man to call for our electrical issues!

Unfortunately the schedule set by our Solar Company kept us from being able to use Cross Electrical, but I still wanted to give a 5 star review  because they were the only electrical company to call us back (and quickly) and were extremely helpful and professional on the phone. We will definitely keep them in mind for future jobs!

Not pleased.  We had previously been told that our refrigerator was not grounded and needed to be, plus we had a few other minor electrical problems. The only electrician available without having to wait for two weeks was Los Gatos Electric.  We were told it was $174 for an hour.  We figured that time would be spent fixing our grounding problem.  It turned out there was no grounding problem.  Two outlets had loose wires and were quickly fixed - that's all that was done.  When we were told that the cost was still $174 for the hour, I was livid - I asked if, minimally, a few more electrical problems could be looked at, but were told they were beyond his scope and I guess time had run out . ((The man who came out was very nice, however there was a lot of time spent visiting.) I called Jim and he said that's what we had agreed and yes, he was right.  My point was we didn't get $174 worth of value from work done. Not pleased.
