I have used Don Laidlaw for a number of plumbing issues.  He stands by his work and always does a fine job.  

The last time I used him I had a whole house water filter installed outside the house.  After he left we noticed a small leak that night and called Don back.

It turns out that when Don manipulated the pipe outside a small hairline crack formed inside the wall.

Don came back immediately the next day (which turned out to be Father's Day) and discovered, cut through the wall and fixed everything.

The thing that impressed me most was the quality of his cuts through the wall, the replacement of everything, and the initial work he did.

I know that he was excited about spending Father's Day with his kids and I respected that he took a part of that day and followed through to make sure the job was complete and of good quality.

When it comes to hiring a professional to work for you, you can't ask for more than that.

Their name says it all. I was very impressed with Chris and Saxon were perfect! Experienced , clean and honest.  They showed up on time,  got to the tankless water heater job, did it quick and clean, and not expensive.  My kind of guys.  I highly recommend them.

We woke up to a leak in the supply line to the water heater this morning. We reached out around 8:30am, and by 10am Titus was here where he immediately diagnosed the problem, and he was done and gone by 12pm. Totally great and reliable, and problem solved! Will keep these guys in mind, if there is a next time! Even more appreciated was that he was on time, and Evelin stayed in touch with me while we waited for him. Thank you!

So it was like 8PM or so at night, and I'm calling like 10 plumbing companies to see if anyone is available to come fix our restroom immediately. People wanted some crazy amounts of money just to come out within the next hour. I happily declined all of their offers. Eventually I find Prescription Plumbing on Yelp, and gave them a call.

I couldn't reach Travis over the phone so I texted him. He offered me so much help over the phone that we ended up fixing the problem, which saved Travis a trip, but ultimately saves me money and when you're saving money.. ya just can't complain! I would reach out to Travis for help again without hesitation if I ever needed it. Friendly guy with the know-how. If you're going to trust anyone with something, that someone ought to know what they're doing, and that someone is Travis!

Quality of the work was good and he appeared to be quite knowledgeable. We called ahead and he was pretty straightforward about the labor charge and how long he thought it would take to fix the issue. However, I was really disappointed in the amount he charged for parts and materials. Basically charging a 500% markup. Perhaps I should have asked beforehand but I wasn't expecting such a  significant charge for parts that I know the retail cost. I think he would have been honest if asked beforehand so just make sure you do so as the work was done well, but just felt that he took advantage of us not asking. Oh well!

Richie was super helpful and knowledgeable. Got us up and going quickly and was very nice during our freak out moments!

Chose him because of the other reviews. Which were spot-on, he knows what he's doing. Fixed one problem and took a look at another w/o extra charge. Will be calling again when I'm ready to deal with that.

We had a couple of jobs - replacing some outside faucets that were leaking, installing our new gas cooktop, and a leaking gasket around the above-counter bowl-style style in our downstairs bathroom (by the way, don't ever buy one of those). I put out one of those quote requests to multiple plumbers in our area, and Jared was one of the first to reply and the only one who provided an actual numerical estimate, which is what I requested. All of the other responders required an in-home consultation before they would give a price - who has time for that for a small list of jobs. I also thought the price sounded about right.

He responded on a Sunday and was able to come the next day. He gave us notice via text before arriving, showed up on time, and got to work. There was a problem with the gas cooktop fit in our counter top, which obviously wasn't his fault - he was still able to install it, but we'll have to retrofit the drawer underneath to accommodate the position of the gas regulator hardware. He had some suggestions on how to do so. All of the other work looks good so far - the faucets and sink no longer leak and the cooktop works.

Overall, Jared was responsive, efficient, professional, and priced reasonably. I'll definitely give him a call for our next plumbing issue.

I checked out several contractors that specialize in hydro jetting, after manual snaking  and garden-hose blasting my rain drains didn't work. Most of my efforts resulted in a muddy mess and further blockage of the drain. Xtreme Drainworks was the best value I found on Yelp. The owner was very responsive and his crew showed up within a few hours of my call. Paul, one of the crew members, did a great job cleaning the rain pipes and providing pragmatic recommendations for future.maintenance. I plan to use Xtreme Drainworks again and likely for an annual maintenance of the drain pipes.

We had a hot water pipe break in the concrete slab of our kitchen; leaking into my garage. Tim and crew at Just Plumbing did a fantastic job. They were honest. Treated us kindly and fairly. Went over all of the issues with us, discussed the pros and cons of each solution. We felt very involved in the process. Very happy with their service. Will absolutely use them again.

p.s. The other company (1.4 stars on yelp) was rude, didn't give us any options and wanted to charge triple the price as well as take twice as long to complete the job. Doesn't surprise me that Just Plumbing has 4.5 stars and the other company (that shall not be named) only has 1.4 stars. Hmm...wonder why?

When we had a plumbing nightmare last week I called these guys and they were out in 20 minutes. Gave me a complete estimate on fixing the problems and several options to meet my budget. They were responsible, knowledgeable and completely dependable. The problem was fixed quickly. I would not hesitate to use them again and will call them the next time I have a plumbing problem! Dont do it!  if your repair requires calling a Supervisor.......Don't do it!  My repair required removing what I was told extensive root invasion under my toilet. The supervisor which included two people in addition to the original technician, implied the work would be extensive possibly requiring multiple days to repair. After agreeing to the proposal of $4600, which included a $1000 discount, the technician left for about an hour to get equipment and completed the job after he returned in  three  hours!

In short ARS. charged us $4600 for a total of 6 hours from the technician and 2 hours from a Supervisor. They also cover their rear ends by verifying with someone over the phone that you are in fact authorizing the charge....that you have someone else with your during this approval and reiterate, in writing, the work to be done.

WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN THE MAIN OFFICE STATED THE WORK WAS NOT PROPOSED ON THE AMOUNT  OF TIME THE JOB REQUIRED. WHEN I ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR TO RETURN MY CALL......I HEARD NOTHING.

ARS is a scam and takes advantage!

I called and they answered!  James Isales was are service tech, he took less the a minute to find the problem and gave us a cost effective options.  Highly recommend, and we found our new plumbing services for future needs.

Joseph came out and fixed a pipe above our tankless water heater that was leaking into an outlet. He was here within 40 minutes late on a Friday night. He was very pleasant and finished the job within an hour. Definitely recommended!

Have used this service in the past and was very satisfied. Prompt and fair pricing. However, last month, I had two sinks I had purchased to be installed. I called GP to give me an estimate. The tech came out and I was stunned by the estimate.  The quote was equivalent to paying them $100/hr. for two days of work. They wanted over $237 to replace two valve stops. This was such a simple job that my 20 yr. old daughter and I completed it in 4 hours and we replaced all four valve stops for under $100. Today I discovered I needed a new water heater. Decided to try somewhere else this time.

The team at Coast 2 Coast plumbing came out and got my leaking water main replaced same day. I had water coming up everywhere and didn't know how to shut it off. Danny was able to walk me through turning the water off over the phone. I appreciated their cleanliness, attention to detail, and ability to quickly diagnose and repair my plumbing problem. Definitely recommend 10/10.

We have been using proactive for about 3 years now. The owner is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and most importantly honest. If you're looking for a plumber go with Proactive, they will get the job done and get you back to life.
