I called out Point Loma Electric because I was getting some flickering lights in my house. I explained to the technician I thought maybe the power tools from the construction next door might be the cause but was not sure. And really I didn't think it was possible. The technician told me to first call SDGE and have them come out and check the lines that come from the pole to my house.  The Technician didn't want to start trouble shooting, possibly find nothing and have to charge me. He also didn't charge me for him to come out which I was more than willing to pay.

 I took his awesome advice and had a SDGE linemen come over and check his lines. It turns out I had a bad connection from the pole into my house. SDGE fixed the problem and it did not cost me anything since it was on the SDGE side. But the Linemen did suggest to replace the mast and line that comes into my house because the line was of lower grade and the current installation is not as safe as it could be. My house was built in 1960.

I then turned around and called out Point Loma Electric and asked for a quote on the work. They gave me a competitive quote and I didn't bother to call anyone else because I trusted they could do a great job. I was not home when the technician finished I went and checked the work and it all looked good except for a few minor details. I called Point Loma Electric and explained my somewhat dissatisfaction. I was very happy on the more than gracious response and integrity to make sure I was 100% satisfied. They came out again and fixed it all and made sure I was 100% satisfied before they left.

Bill and partner navigated the complexity of our condo needing to shut off the water so they could do the work, and came back, and was kind enough to fold in the initial charge reasonably into the fee at the end. Everything was done well, and they displayed great knowledge  about everything. Also, this is the first time in our experience  that a plumber actually showed up EXACTLY when he said  he was going to. I almost couldn't believe it at first! I thought I had gone to some heaven of plumbing punctuality previously unknown  in life! Wow!

Woke up to a Slab Leak this morning, oh no what a mess. Called C&C and talked to Gary, super nice and helpful, said he was going to get someone out to the property pronto. Nick showed up in about an hour and helped me through the process. They got the leak fixed and re routed so the house has hot water. We then discussed options and decided to make sure we address the entire problem. Nick was profesional, clean, and was able to discuss the details in a way that I understood. I called DyLon and made an appointment on Tuesday 12/22/20 at 10am. They called at 9:10am on Tuesday and were at my home at 9:20am as promised. In only 3 minutes they removed our 150 pound sofa bed and loaded in their truck. Andy and DaLorean were fun and professional. Call these guys if you need some junk removal.

I called Pure Window Cleaning because they had good reviews. They were friendly on the phone, and we're able to set up an appointment within a couple days. They showed up on time, gave me the price upfront, then did the work faster than any previous window cleaners I've had. The windows were cleaner than ever when they left, so I set up with then to come out 3 times a year to keep the windows looking good. Very satisfied

They quickly replied to my inquiry, but then for scheduling, I sent them 2 messages and they never responded.

Tim was excellent! He is very knowledgeable and organized. Got the job done same day without a shocking invoice. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend Reasonable Drain & Plumbing Repair for plumbing/drain issues. I developed a very clogged kitchen sink on Easter Sunday and tried a number of home remedies that evening and throughout the next day with no luck. I was referred to Reasonable Drain & Plumbing Repair for help Monday evening. Pip responded quickly and was able to come the next day. They arrived promptly and cleared the clog in no time. The were very friendly, knowledgable, tidy and mindful of   current extra sanitary practices and their price was very reasonable. I will definitely be using them again and I highly recommend their service to anyone who is having troubles with drains or plumbing.

On August 30th of 2015, I had a fourth slab leak this one was a major decision maker for me and my family. We had to decide whether we were going to continue with the bs insurance claim that after several years of paying your premiums you have a claim and the insurance company send a bunch of Gomer Pyle Contractors that always wind of sayingSurprise Surprise Surprise the insurance company will only pay to dig up the location where the leak is and reroute to the next branch of piping that's let. We had both cold water and hot water. So after all the guesstimates, quotes, not one of the plumbers ever mention that we could have an alternative. That's when a friend of ours had some work done by Shaun and The Works Plumbing, no not Angie's List friend, a Facebook Friend but a true friend who we would trust with our investment our home. We call Shaun and he came down did a very thorough inspection not this bs walk by and spit some off the wall numbers but a very methodical inch by inch inspection and sat down with us to offer some solutions, not some band aids. Shaun sat down look us straight in the eyes and whip out a sample material of PEX. Hold on yoyos who knock new technologies of home building. Shaun gave us the pros and cons of using PEX and forget the reroute and repipe the entire house. I looked at him and said to myself this guy must be high on dope or dog poop. What does he think we are cash cows or my name is Money Bag$! Well he had me blown away with the competitive bid, not a low ball bid but a true honest bid. Well the next 3 days they came as true professionals, got to work yes it was late at night but hey they are workhorses and clean. Pull out all the pipes from the house knocked out all the holes for the running of the PEX and these guys work, no bs chatting, looking at Facebook, Twitter, and all the other distractions that happen on the site for most of the contractors of home repairs. People I rate this the BEST EVER EXPERIENCE for something that was a NIGHTMARE and THE WORKS Plumbing were Dreamweavers. People wake up to the back to the future where the old way of doing business is the new way to have a wonderful experience for a traumatic event. Don't let them yahoos, Angie's List and the many other companies out there not give you the respect, dignity, and customer support that you deserve during events that can bankrupt your home. This is probably the worst customer service that I have ever had in my life.

So, this technician Javier sent me heads up text message saying that he'll be arriving in 10 mins. Ended up not showing up like half an hour. Then he showed up with someone who was not in the uniform. This man even did not identify himself so I don't know if he is working for this company or not.

They started to access the water heater for a few mins. One of them went back to the truck, then I asked Javier what was wrong with the heater. (He did not explain anything to me until I asked him)
Javier told me that they need to change some parts. Then I went back inside for a min. When I came out again they were gone and truck was not there. Like 20mins later he called me let me know that they'll be back next day in the morning 8am.

Next morning, at 9am still nobody showed up. Called the company to check the time window and  the lady told me that was 10am-2pm... right now, I'm still waiting...

I see lots of positive feedback about this company. That makes me feel even more disappointed when you receive this kind of terrible service.

We had slow-draining bathroom and kitchen, a smelly drain, and a few other plumbing concerns.  After 2 plumbers with whom we hadn't been satisfied, I looked to Yelp for another plumbing company, and Daniel's Plumbing & Son had 6 five-star reviews, so clearly liked, but not well experienced? (They solved all of our plumbing issues -- details below.)

I phoned, and Steve and I had a long, informative and listening conversation.  We scheduled service, and he, Art, and Manny arrived, only to find a misaligned sewer-pipe junction with a camera...in the middle of our house...ugh.  We scheduled for the jackhammering and other items we wanted fixed (e.g. water-hammer arresters), and after a short medical-emergency delay for which Steve was clearly sorry and nervous I'd be upset (I wasn't.), they performed all of the work in 2 days.

Steve and Art pulled in their father, the eponymous Daniel, and he helped solve the misaligned sewer problem.  Art found two small leaks from the previous plumber's work, and he fixed them without charging.  They solved the hot/cold water mixing problem we had throughout the house (found crossed water lines at the hot water heater) and solved that.  They installed 4 water-hammer arresters in our lines and we no longer experience the daily explosions in our house multiple times a day (yay!).  And, finally, our sinks/tubs are draining much better.

The best part is that, even though Daniel's Plumbing & Son did not re-tile the tiles they'd jackhammered, after we finally replaced the tile ourselves (3 weeks, due to concrete dry time, 1 weekend trip, and 1 week trip), they came out the day after I said the tile was done to reinstall the toilet.  Can't ask for better service than that!

I highly recommend this company.  Communication is prompt and thoughtful.  Questions answered.  Payment easy (invoice emailed and all payments available; I paid by check, but could have with CC).  Work, so far (3 weeks later), remains as expected.

My upstairs bathtub was making gurgling noises when I flushed the toilet. I called my usual plumber in Vista and told her my concern. I was told that it sounds like my main water line needs to be cleaned out but doesn't have anyone until Monday next week unless I activate EMERGENCY SERVICES. I called Robert at Vanguard. (per recommendation from my neighborhood email posts-NEXTDOOR) I told him my dilemma. He asked how often I used my bathtub. I replied NEVER. He stayed on the line and told me to run water into my tub for 5 seconds, let it drain and then flush the toilet. NO MORE NOISES from my tub. He explained that there is a water trap for my tub, but since I don't use it, it had dried out and echoes water draining from my tub. Had nothing to do with the 'main water line'. Robert charged me nothing for the phone call. I cannot express how grateful I am. Vanguard Plumbing is my main plumber from here on out!!! WOW!! Thanks Robert!

Let's start at the end. Best plumbing outfit going. Honest -- word play intended. This is your new plumber. Examples? Best price for new water heater and install; checks toilet, nothing wrong so doesn't try and sell me something. Seriously, it's like 1950 and the plumber is your second cousin. Thank you George.

We recently received a referral for RJB from one of our neighbors who had a great experience.  Bob diagnosed and resolved our issue within a couple of days.  He was informative and took pride in his work.  I would highly recommend calling RJB for any plumbing needs!

Unfortunately our furnace went out on a Saturday afternoon. I called Thompson's and was scheduled for the following morning.  Garrett arrived on time and had our furnace back up and working in 30 minutes.   The whole process was very simple, professional and easy. I definitely recommend this company.
