Best Plumbing Services in San Diego, CA

I called CSR plumbing based solely on their Yelp reviews. I have never done that before other than selecting a restaurant. What a pleasant experience I had, which is saying something when you're talking about a plumber.

I had called one of the large San Diego plumbing companies to have my 75 Gal. Hot water heater replaced. I live in Coronado, and from the time they arrived the tech. Started talking about how big a job this would be. I wanted the option of going tankless, but he immediately said it couldn't be done without running a dedicated gas line. So they gave me a quote of $10,000 to install a new 75 Gal. Heater. He also said The job would likely take more than a day to complete the work so we would be without hot water.

So I called Huyen at CSR and he could not have been any more professional. He sent his tech. Mike out and what a different experience. Mike began looking at my installation and rather than saying how difficult it would be he was looking for the least expensive solution. I told him I would like a tankless option and with a little effort he found a tankless solution that would meet my needs. Further with a little investigation we found that if a larger dia. Gas line was required we could change the line relatively easily. Mike and his assistant had my old heater out and the new system installed in about 5 hours.

I got the tankless solution I wanted and the price was 40% of the other company's bid, and that was for a standard hot water heater.

If you need a plumber, I highly recommend calling CSR Plumbing! These guys are focuses on the customer.

I moved into my new home in the fall and had put off some plumbing work that needed to be done. I found Collins Pacific Plumbing highly rated on Yelp and I reached out to them. Aaron and I emailed each other about the work that I needed done. He was responsive and interested in helping me and addressing my needs. Another company I reached out to that was highly rated on Yelp never replied. We finally spoke by phone. He gave me a very competitive price and scheduled me promptly. Jose arrived and knew what needed to be done. He had all the supplies he needed for the repairs. He got straight to work, did a great job, showed me somethings I didn't know and cleaned up beautifully afterwards. I was very happy with their service and woill use them again. Thank you!

We were pleased with the entire interaction with Five Star Plumbing. Both Debbie and Justin  were very clear and efficient with their communications with us.  We had a water heater replaced.  Justin showed up on time, He was courteous, neat and even made another small plumbing repair while he was here.  Reasonable price.  Great company. Highly recommended.

Fred Zandian is extremely professional, courteous, and honest.  We have had him help us with 2 emergencies so far and couldn't be happier with his service.  He was very helpful both before the service (on the phone) and during.  He arrived promptly, and did an excellent job.  Only did what we needed (tried to save us money and not sell us anything we didn't need).  And he cleaned up after the work.  His rates were very reasonable, even on a holiday weekend.  I would highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs.

I needed a new toilet.  Contacted a few plumbing companies but decided on TL Plumbing.  I had used a different company before to install a garbage disposal and that company did a poor installation job and were expensive.  This firm was very helpful in that they picked up the toilet at Lowes (about 100 lbs) and kept it until it needed to be installed.  Their price seemed fair and they did a good looking installation.

Tony and Ant came by house and replaced our leaking water heater.  They were in and out in about two hours and charged me about $300 less than they originally estimated.  Super nice guys.  I'm so glad I called them.

We had an unidentified leak in our condo, and Jose immediately was able to come out and assess the problem. He basically redid our bathroom's plumbing in a day! Jose and his crew are fast, efficient, and honest. This is the second job we've had them work on, and they will definitely be our go-to plumber for as long as they are around! It is hard to recommend anyone else given our positive experiences with Discount. I absolutely believe that this should be the first place anyone calls. Beyond their services, they have always worked with and recommended excellent restoration companies and contractors. Absolute life savers! I had a leak occur on a Sunday night during a holiday weekend and Armstrong Plumbing was the only company to understand the urgency of the situation and come to the rescue. I had called about 6 other plumbers prior to reaching out to Armstrong Plumbing, and all of the other plumbers didn't want to take on an evening job and wanted to wait until the morning. With my ceiling caving in, I continued to call around because I live in a condo complex and the only other way to stop the leak was to shutdown the water for the entire building. Even though Matt and Eric were already fully booked for the day, they sensed that I was in desperate need of repair and came around 10:30pm that night after their last job had finished. They got right down to business to repairing the leak and were nothing short of excellent. They were very knowledgeable with what to communicate to my insurance and they even had their recommended drying company to come out that same night. All of these guys didn't even up leaving until midnight, and this was a Sunday night nonetheless. The most surprising part was that Matt and Eric charged a much lower price that I was expecting, especially considering this was an emergency job late at night on a holiday weekend. Armstrong Plumbing is definitely going to be my go-to guys for anything now. I seriously cannot thank you two enough!!

I need a hot water heater replacement and contacted a few plumbers for a quote. Daniel at Express Plumbing offered me a very reasonable price and came to my home with a brand new Rheem hot water heater in an hour. He is honest, professional and polite, explained to me all the details about the installation and city code. My water heater is in a tight space and he finished the installation in about 2 hours. There is no extra or hidden charges. I am extremely happy with the work he did and I would highly recommend him to anyone I know.

I called today because a handyman came out to fix a leak issue and had no idea what he was doing. Fernando came to my house within 2-3 hours and quickly diagnosed the issues and had it repaired very promptly. I took East Lakes business card because when you handle issues with this much attention to detail and care it means a great deal. I will refer anyone with issues to them as continue to utilize them myself for projects of any size.

Kelley did a superb job installing shelving in my closet and hanging some big mirrors and wall art. She is very responsive, professional and friendly. I will be calling her in the future for other handy jobs.

I look for the F words when I look for a repair company - friendly, fair and fixed. Add fast to the list. Omar got my drain request this morning and within a few minutes I was scheduled for this morning. Jonathan was on time and within minutes the problem was fixed and he also told me some maintenance stuff I should be doing to prevent issues.

We have an older home with updating needed from time to time so I will be calling again for our plumbing needs as they arise. I recommend you do too. They do much more than just drains.

Considering that a Yelp 5 star review means as good as it gets, I can't in good faith say the overall (in italics) experience warranted that. That said, the service performed by Miguel, was indeed 5 stars.

I won't go into background details, but my bathroom sink hasn't drained well ever since I moved into my loft... then all of a sudden, it wouldn't drain at all. My owner tried to set me up with their plumber (same last name, so I think it was their brother), who then proceeded to no-show on two separate occasions. Annoyed since I don't want to spend my off days waiting for a plumber to not come, my owner said the just call someone and they'd cover the cost.

I've never had to call a plumber before, so like seemingly everything else, I turned to Yelp. I tried a few of the top rated, who didn't really have much time for a simple clogged bathroom sink - uh, I might be able to get to that on Monday, was one reply.

Then I get to Plumbing Tree and give them a call. From an 8am call, they were able to get me a 2-4pm appointment, which I was fine with. The person scheduling was friendly and informed me that I'd be called when someone was getting close to heading my way - about 30 or 45 minutes ahead of time. I received a call saying the morning appointments were running long and that I should expect someone to be there towards the end of the time window or slightly past. I was fine with that, since I didn't have to be anywhere until a few hours after.

At about 5pm, I had to call and confirm I was still scheduled, since I hadn't received any updates. I was told that someone was coming shortly and was offered a slight discount for waiting this long. About 45 minutes later, I received another call, this time from the plumber himself. He said he was on his way and confirmed my address.

Miguel showed up just as he said and was very friendly and polite. He was able to fix my bathroom sink in about 20 minutes and wished everyone I dealt with was an efficient and professional. As I stated above, Miguel's work gets 5 stars and the company overall gets 4. I would definitely use them again, but if I had somewhere to be after their 2-4pm window, they would've missed the appointment. I also had to call them for an update. It's for these 2 reasons, I reluctantly couldn't say as good as it gets.

I won't publicize the discount amount, since I don't think that would be right, but they charge $95 for the first hour, with a minimum of one hour. From there, they bill in 15 minute increments. So basically you're going to be paying a minimum of $95.

Andrew Diaz was great. On-time, thorough, left the place neat and clean, extremely professional, polite, explained everything.  Highly recommed.  If only all repair people were like him.
