Talk about competent, reliable, and reasonable service...this is one. Mitch is responsive to phone calls, arrives as promised, and does not gouge. He has saved me tons of $.

There's a reason why Victor Lee gets all the 5-star ratings. He is a good, honest plumber, who is very easy to work with, very personable, and gets the job done right the first time. My water heater stopped producing hot water three days ago, and the pilot light wouldn't stay lit. Called Jay Greenwood of Aztec Plumbing (another 5-star plumber), who correctly diagnosed the problem over the phone as a bad thermocouple/pilot light assembly. Jay was booked, but Victor, who initially trained under Jay years ago, was available. Both Jay and Victor advised me (correctly) to contact the manufacturer, and get the new part, since the heater was still under warranty. I did that, got the part Fed-Ex'd the next day, and Victor showed up in the morning to install it. Installation perfect, heater producing hot water with no problems, and Victor fixed my heater in about an hour for a fraction of the price of a new heater. Victor (or Jay - whoever is available first) is now my go-to plumber.

Awesome job! I called Bob, from Neighborhood Plumming, for a backed up kitchen sink problem we were having. Bob came out quickly and worked very efficiently. He was very professional and very friendly. The work was reasonably priced and we are happy with the results. He has an excellent work ethic and is very experienced. That's hard to find these days, so we are definitely going to continue using Bob as our plumber.

I contacted Andy's Plumbing to clean out storm drains and sewer lines at a rental house I'd just moved back into.  Andy is a consummate professional in that he confirmed the appointment and showed up when he said he would.  He completed the job efficiently and charged a reasonable amount for his work.  If you want a great job done by a great honest guy, I would highly recommend Andy and would definitely call him again to fix any plumbing issue.

This company may have named themselves after a yippy, annoying dog.  That's where the resemblance ends.  After all, this is a PLUMBING company.  This is NOT the kind of company I really relish doing business with; does anyone?!

Five years ago, we remodeled our kitchen, and Chihuahua Plumbing did the waterworks part of the job.  A couple of years ago, we installed a gas fireplace in our house; again, the same company came out.  Oh, and the time our son backed up the shower in his bathroom?  Chihuahua Plumbing to the Rescue!

So, fast-forward to this past week.  My kitchen sink was backed up, but after a couple of days of gingerly usage, all seemed well.  I started a load of laundry, and when it spun out, all of a sudden I heard a large burp in the kitchen, and lo and behold, the sinks were full of black, disgusting water.  Oh, No!  What to do?!  Fortunately, with a name like Chihuahua Plumbing, I can easily remember this company, so 2 hours later, we had a plumber in our house, and within one hour, and $95, my emergency was over.  

All I can say, is thank God for plumbers when you need them.  And thank God for unusual, quirky names that make it easy to recall said plumbers.  They truly are a godsend when you need them....and let's face it, it takes a special person to do that kind of work!  Thank you, guys, for being fast, efficient and affordable.

I called for outside drain service/clearing and needed the job done ASAP. In short, they got it done faster than expected and  cleared the drain. I would recommend and use again.

Ziggy was very helpful when he didn't need to be! Even though he understandably doesn't do HOA-related affairs that I thought I had, he talked with me for 15 minutes giving me every bit of helpful info and he answered my many, many questions. He definitely knows his stuff - got more helpful info out of him in 15 min than I did with my 10 hours researching on Internet.

Saturday afternoon my husband dug up the front lawn to see where the puddle of water was coming from. He found that the pipe had a leak. I began calling to see who could come out and repair it. We knew it would probably be costly because it was a weekend. Thank goodness Bob called me back, spoke with my husband and came out within the hour. I did not want to hear the price but my husband said we recieved a good deal the final cost was less than the estimate. Thank you Bob!!!

The next day Bob contacted my husband to follow up on the service and all was good.

I highly recommend Bob great customer service and stand up guy! I know who we will be calling for all future plumbing problems with our house!!!

Long story short, I had a sewage back up in my shower, I called Personal Plumbing because I had used them before and trusted that I would get good service at a fair price.  After charging me $500 to clear the drain, they told me I had a tree root problem.  They gave me an estimate (I was naive in thinking that this small locally owned company was offering me, a repeat customer, a fair price)   The estimate was for $1650, I called Bob and talked to him personally about reducing the price considering I was a repeat customer, his exact words were, if I give you a discount on the service, then I would loose money if I have to do any warrenty work.   He couldnt tell me how long of a warrenty they could offer me on my pipes after they clear the line until they are able to look at the pipes after the roots are cleared.  I agreed to the work and they came out to start, 1/2 way through, I approach the plumber and asked him what kind of warrently am I looking at based on my pipes, he said, we NEVER issue a warrently of tree root work, company policy  So I tell him about my conversation with bob, he calls bob.  Bob offers me two options: clean up and leave and I don't pay anthing or continue with the work, pay full price and he would give me a 1 week warrenty.  His plumber strongly advised that I continue with the work considering another back up could happen anytime and if it were his house, he would continue.   So I did.  Their equipement (the knocker) could only reach 60 feet from my clean out, the camera went further and ran into a root intrusion at 71 feet.  Their equipment couldn't reach it.  They suggested that I install a double sweep clean out at the cost of $3500 in order to clean the roots.  After paying Personal Plumbing $2210, I was still left with roots in my pipes that they couldn't reach.  Based on their assessment, the tree that was causing the intrusion at 71 ft was owned by the city, I called the city and told them the whole stroy.  They suggested that, instead of installing a cleanout, hire a plumber that had a longer knocker.  I was again, naive and didn't know that that existed.  So i called Bill Howe.  Bill Howe came out, ran their knocker 111 feet at the total cost of $223.  ($154 for the first 100 feet and $69 for each 25 feet after).   I paid personal plumbing 7.6  ($2210) times what I paid Bill Howe to do, and they did an additional 51 feet.  (leaving NO tree roots in my pipes)  Bill Howes plumber also ran his camera the full 111 feet to make sure that the pipe was cleared and didn't charge me a dime for that.  Just wanted to show me that they did what they were hired for.    I emailed Bob and explained everything, suddenly, the very responsive bob is now silent.  No response to my email.  I'm asking him to explain why the inflated charges or what special service did his company give me that justifies such an increase in cost for the same services from another company, especially considering Personal Plumbing left me with tree roots still invading my pipes because they lacked long enough equipment to reach it.   I'm asking for a reimbursement for some of the money I paid his company based on the very contradictory warrenty' information, the inability to complete the job and the inflated costs.   Not such a short story!   Good luck with any plumbng issue you're having (if your reading this you must be looking for a plumber, do your due diligence by getting a couple estimates.  tw  (Bill Howe's estimate for a double sweep clean out was also $1000 less than PP)

Kerry is reliable, moderately priced and does excellent work in the Clairemont area. He is straight forward, and does not try to sell you a service or something you do not need. He will even fix items or situations made worse by an DIY enthusiast without judgment. Installs parts you purchase if you prefer, or will provide. We recommend him highly.

Pleased with the service we received today!  Carlos was prompt, professional, very courteous and resolved our plumbing issue quickly; under 20 minutes. Would definitely use this company again!

Had the pleasure to work with Israel the last two days on a plumbing need in my house, he was great, an all around wonderful experience and I will call them again!
