Have been using Vick's services for going on 16 years now after we got our first house and not planning to use anyone else. Vick is the most fairly priced plumber around and a straight shooter who knows the industry and his recommendations are based on giving you the best bang for the buck. He's a no-nonsense guy and a great choice for any of your plumbing needs.

Bob is the absolute best Person & Plumber! He spent so much time on my issue and man was it a doozy! I had SDG&E out three times, ultimately diagnosing everything wrong. Their conclusion was that I needed to repipe the entire house as my pipes were too small for my tiny home even though I have been living here with no problem for 16 years. I had a heating and air guy out as well that could not figure out the problem since my issue was involving my tankless heater, lack of hot water and involved my central heating system.... Bob spent so many hours on the phone, contacting the tankless heater company, contacting all of his friends in the industry, contacting our Hi-Velocity heater company & more. He must have made at least 20 phone calls (spending hours on the phone trouble shooting) on my behalf trying to diagnose our problem. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYONE MY EXPECTATIONS and I am so grateful to him and his son for that. He is the absolute best!!!

Service was amazing. I thought we had a big problem but Blaine (new owner of the Company) came over to check it out and diagnosed the issue in no time. He fixed our issue on same day at a very reasonable price.
He is by far the best plumber I have hired. He even took the time to explain and show me what he was fixing along the way and cleaned up after. Bottom line, he is outstanding. A gentleman. Knows everything there is to know in the plumbing business. Highly professional, extremely courteous, prompt and always had a smile on his face. Loved his work ethic and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs any type of plumbing work done. Haven't had great service like this in ages. Loved having him here and would definitely use his services again. Thank you so much.

This company may have named themselves after a yippy, annoying dog.  That's where the resemblance ends.  After all, this is a PLUMBING company.  This is NOT the kind of company I really relish doing business with; does anyone?!

Five years ago, we remodeled our kitchen, and Chihuahua Plumbing did the waterworks part of the job.  A couple of years ago, we installed a gas fireplace in our house; again, the same company came out.  Oh, and the time our son backed up the shower in his bathroom?  Chihuahua Plumbing to the Rescue!

So, fast-forward to this past week.  My kitchen sink was backed up, but after a couple of days of gingerly usage, all seemed well.  I started a load of laundry, and when it spun out, all of a sudden I heard a large burp in the kitchen, and lo and behold, the sinks were full of black, disgusting water.  Oh, No!  What to do?!  Fortunately, with a name like Chihuahua Plumbing, I can easily remember this company, so 2 hours later, we had a plumber in our house, and within one hour, and $95, my emergency was over.  

All I can say, is thank God for plumbers when you need them.  And thank God for unusual, quirky names that make it easy to recall said plumbers.  They truly are a godsend when you need them....and let's face it, it takes a special person to do that kind of work!  Thank you, guys, for being fast, efficient and affordable.

We had a leak in the kitchen and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Vincent came out and fixed the leak. He was very nice and professional and did an excellent job!

Thomas came out to help me with an aging water heater.  Not only did he get it up and running quickly nor push me to replace it, he suggested some improvements that can extend the life and/or minimize damage when it does fail.  He was very professional and I would highly recommend.

Ziggy has been the neighborhood plumber for over 30 years. He has reasonable rates and great service. He's done our plumbing for 15 years and he's never once had to come back to fix a problem; he gets things right the first time.

Ziggy runs his business from his home, but if you search for the business you might see an address on Deerpark. Apparently that's an error from Google maps photographing his truck on another street. 2752 Burgener is the actual address.

I called this guy to come out for a job and told him the job involved two condos and he told me that my job was too much drama and he was not interested... really?

It is very hard to find an honest plumberWe talked about a couple of projects, and he informed the entire scope.

Our home's hot water heater was on it's last leg and Generations plumbing replaced it.  This company is very professional,  friendly and knowledgeable about  your plumbing needs.  The plumber also finished the job in a timely manner.   I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for any of your plumbing needs.

I don't like haggling or someone playing the sales game with me.  If I have something very straight forward, I get quotes for the job.  I had a water heater that needed replacement and after texting Bob the specifics, he came back with a very competitive quote and a little under the best of the other quotes.  But, many plumbers wouldn't give a quote needing to come out to look at the project even though I supplied photos of the job.  That's when I know I'd get a sales pitch and probably upselling as that always happens in those cases.  Now, I know there's a lot of plumbing jobs that can't be quoted and they'd need to take a look and figure out what needs to be done to price it out but Bob looks like the first one I'd look to call in those situations.

This company is so good that I felt obligated to write this Yelp review before they even completed their work.

Bob was able to give me an estimate when I was still at work so I didn't have to drive home and back.

Their bid came back so much lower than the other two I got that I was a little skeptical that I might be getting quoted for inadequate hardware. But Bob stood by his quote and ensured me that if I was not happy with the performance, his company gave a 1 year satisfaction guarantee on top of the 15 year warranty on the Navien.

The more I looked into the specs of the unit these guys were recommending the more I could tell that Personal Plumbing were giving me a very fair price, for exactly what I needed (plus an inline ion filter that the other companies weren't offering), whereas the other two were deliberately overselling me, and one even insisted that I replace the pressure regulator and overflow tanks for another $2,000, which Personal Plumbing told me were not necessary.

I am now writing this as John and Tim are in my garage, carefully and expertly replacing my cracked 15 year old standard water heater with a state of the art Navien tankless. The fact that they even put oil catch mats underneath their vehicles in the driveway shows how much they go above and beyond what is expected. And Tim even came inside and fixed two stuck faucets for free!

If 5-stars on Yelp signifies as good as it gets, then Personal Plumbing is the epitome of 5-stars.

Kerry is reliable, moderately priced and does excellent work in the Clairemont area. He is straight forward, and does not try to sell you a service or something you do not need. He will even fix items or situations made worse by an DIY enthusiast without judgment. Installs parts you purchase if you prefer, or will provide. We recommend him highly.

Adrian just left our home after fixing our clogged kitchen sink. He was fast, efficient, and very knowledgeable. Super nice guy. He even cleaned up after himself and put all of our items under the sink back nicely. I would definitely have Adrian out if anything happens again. Thanks Adrian!!!

This not a trustworthy company. They told me there was something wrong with the pipes under my home,  that they were leaking and had to be replaced for 6500.  Had a suspicion something didn't seem right so I called another plumber.He said nothing was wrong. Snaked the drains and everything has been perfect since. Get a second opinion before spending any money with this company. Others in our neighborhood have had the same experience with Bay and Shore.
