I was a new homeowner when all drains clogged up in my house. Old Republic Insurance sent someone out to look at the problem. It was a joke! He wanted to refer me to others (for a kickback is what others speculated on YELP) and said he couldn't help me although I still had to pay the service fee. I called Jessie with SD Rooter immediately because he did work on the house for the previous owner. Jessie came to my home the very same day. Not only was he able to snake a drain to open a toilet to use, he didn't even charge me! It was obvious this guy knew his stuff. He started on my repairs right away. It was clear to him that there was a problem with the main line from the house to the street. Initially, he estimated it would take about two days to do the repairs by installing a double cleanout, hydro jet the lines, and resleeve the main pipe. He quoted me a price and proceeded with the work. But after he and his crew dug a trench down to the main pipe and evaluated the situation, they realized the situation was much more serious and involved. The job started on a Thursday and Jessie said they would work through the weekend if they needed to complete the job. He was true to his word and worked through the weekend; however, it took about 9 days for the job to be complete! They tried to shoot material into the line to resleeve it but the old cast Iron pipe was in such bad shape, they needed to replace it, so more excavating needed to be done. Jessie worked with me. Even though he gave me a price assuming the pipe would be resleeved, he stuck by his word and did not charge me more money even though it cost him a lot more money to replace the entire pipe. He also provided several free services for me: snaking my drains twice, running a cable and camera through lines, and he also looked at a different problem inside the house free. I had to work part of the time during the repair so Jessie was great about updating me. His crew were hard workers and professional. Because it was so hot, I provided water, drinks, and some food because they were so nice and were working so hard in the heat!! They were VERY appreciative. When they completed the job, their concrete work over the area of my driveway that was removed looked really good! They were also meticulous in cleaning up trash and debris and hauling it away. Jessie took care of me, and although he could have made more money doing this job, he stuck by his word and charged me less than what he would have normally charged. Jessie is honest. He'll tell you directly that he's not the cheapest and he's not the most expensive. He is very good and experienced and he knows what he's doing. I highly recommend this company.

Learn how to set expectations. If your tech says they will call the office at the end of the visit, then DO that. Secretaries, dial the correct number, and be efficient about it (don't call the tenant, when the property manager is the one waiting for the report). Show up when you say  you are going to (not decide to show up 1.5 hours before the allotted time).

BDP Services installed my SpringWell water filtration system, and they did a great job.  Everything is working great.  Darin was my contact person and did most of the work.  He is very knowledgeable and honest.  He even showed me how my system works and how to change the pre-filter and lube the rings in the valves.  I anticipate that I may need to replace my water heaters soon, and I will definitely be calling BDP Services.

I wish I had known about Akamai earlier for previous plumbing projects my husband and I have had done on our house and town home rental unit. I tried to fix a leak on the front sprinkler valve installed incorrectly into the water main by the previous owner of my house. I broke the pipe and needed help quick. Mark came by and cleared a drain that was partially clogged. No-nonsense guy who did the job efficiently and provided estimates for other work I inquired about. Due to an emergency call he wasn't able to come at the originally agreed time, but he communicated this change of plans well.

Powers plumbing has been extremely prompt and does excellent work. But the best attribute that I  have seen is not from the plumbers who come out but also  from everyone including the customer service representives which have
such positive empathic energy.
