I had a fabulous experience with E-Drains and Edy and can't recommend them highly enough!  I had a backed up main drain and utilized the Yelp function to receive multiple quotes at the same time. Edy's company was extremely responsive and the only one who was willing to give me a fixed estimate and also able to make it out the same day.

Edy arrived within the designated window, communicated his ETA, and showed me the issue via his camera system at no additional charge. I paid an exceptionally reasonable rate, especially as compared to other estimates I'd received. They have my business moving forward, period. What a relief to find an honest business owner who does what they said they would do with no up charges or hard sell.

I hired Darrell to install an reverse osmosis water system underneath the sink..  he did an awesome job, very professional and respectful.. I would definitely recommend him to handy stuff around the house if you are looking for someone to install or fix something for you..

Chris the owner of Acculine Leak Detection saved the day for me.  I had a bad water leak under my house that was costing me $100s a day from the gas and water department.  He came out the day I called him and gave me a competitive bid.  He explained everything to me in easy to understand terms and I trusted him immediately.  I am disabled in a wheelchair on a low income and a severe emergency for me as I had to turn the water off.  He came the next day with the equipment to find the leaks and checked the entire house.   He started work that day with an assistant and they worked two full days to reroute the pipes through the attic which also saved me much money.  It was in El Cajon, CA which is extremely hot so it was a very difficult job.  He is friendly, kind, caring, very respectful, He is  professional and really knows his trade. His written bill spells out his warranty so I feel secure about the transaction.  He is the epitome of a professional and I highly recommend him!  J. H. El Cajon

From the dispatcher Ricci who was super friendly and efficient on the phone to Brian an employee for 22 years who fixed our heater the whole experience was positive. No one keeps employees ,responds promptly and does job efficiently anymore. This company is doing it the right way. Ideal it sounds cliche but you were Ideal. Thanks !

My mom had a leak in her bath tub and definitely wanted a good Plummer. We heard about 805 plumbing from a friend. We're sure glad we listened! Carlos and his workers were amazing guys with great prices and very quick! They re did my moms whole bathroom to pristine condition. Couldn't be happier with out new shower and tile. Don't go to those big plumbing companies that'll charge you an arm and a leg! Give 805 the job to do it RIGHT!

Had a drop in water pressure at my house and I was worried I had a leak somewhere. I submitted an inquiry on their website late at night and they called me at 8 o'clock the next morning and the tech was here at 9 o'clock in the morning and all he needed to do was adjust the pressure valve. They only charged me a diagnostic fee to just the valve and make sure there was no other leaks.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE FOOLS

DrainHelp.com claimed to do septic inspections as I found them through online searching and saw their yelp rating was pretty good (I now think their Yelp ratings are all bogus based on the experience I had with them.)

I called them to do a thorough and accurate septic system inspection which I was told would cost $250 from the operator who I communicated with. I told her that would be fine as long as the inspection was thorough and accurate. This is where the whole thing goes downhill....when Ali arrives and is very aggressive in demeanor and I must admit, I was a bit intimidated by him (like he could snap at any minute.)

He proceeded to look around property for septic tank cover, could not find and it became apparent that he was not equipped to do the job. I mentioned we should not waste each others time but he assured me he will find and we will love him for the work he provided. He found a RV Septic Cover that he thought was going to be the septic cover, but anyone would have known that it was not the septic system for the home.

He messed around a bit more and said since I already owed them $, he would get his camera and stick thru the main sewer drain line and would push all the way down to the septic tank and leech line and that we would have pictures, video of the whole think and could definitely 100% tell the condition of the system. I reluctantly agreed as he was trying to be mr niceguy, but was still very aggressive and intimidating in body language. He said the charge would be $485, but promised that I would be able to see everything I needed and have pictures, he would put a report together and everything.

He stuck the camera in about 8 feet and started to point out a cracked sewer line, clogs/debris in the line and showed water, but he stopped because camera would not go any further. This is not what he promised, so I thought the charge would be less. We basically got NOTHING CLOSE TO A SEPTIC INSPECTION  and I greatly wished I had never come across them in the first place.

I told him that was not worth $485, but he scared the heck out of me so I did pay via my DiscoverCard knowing I was going to have recourse on the charge.

I attempted to mediate with them on the charge and split the difference taking 50% of blame for having wrong company come out,  but they would not agree. They have quite a few complaints on Yelp I now see and even more on the BBB in San Diego. Looks like we will have

Called after hours with a leak under in my bathroom sink. Nicholas Schaefer showed up on time. After opening a small section in the wall, he determined that it was a leaky pipe that needed repair. It was too late at night to do work in the condo, so he temporarily stopped the leak.  He returned the next day, opened up the wall, found the problem and fixed the pipe. Nicholas was very polite, answered all my questions and kept me informed about what he was doing.  He also cleaned up all the areas when the job was complete. I would definitely recommend PIC Plumbing.

I needed a toilet replaced and got several quotes through yelp before deciding to go with True Value Plumbing.  I always try to support veteran-owned businesses, and Cody was just a pleasure to do business with.  He was friendly and accommodating, and was able to give me a quote over the phone, which most plumbers don't do.  His technician Marcos showed up on time and did a great job. He was very clean, respectful, and professional. After removing the old toilet out and getting the new one out of the box, we realized the bowl was cracked...  Marcus had to put the old one back and made sure the bathroom was spotless when he was done.  He even offered to return the broken toilet and pick up a new one for me at no charge!  

Since this was an online order I had to deal with getting a refund over the phone and picked up a different one today. True Value offered to come back and install it at a discounted price because of the inconvenience I had to go through with the company I ordered it from.  This is above and beyond anything I would expect and just amazing customer service!

Marcos will be back tomorrow to install the new toilet and I am sure he will do a wonderful job!

Update: Marcos came back the next day and did a fantastic job with the installation. I am one happy customer!!

I would highly recommend this company to anyone with plumbing needs. Such genuine caring people are hard to come by these days.

I hired Alejandro to repair a recessed light fixture in our kitchen. It was dead for a long time and just before vacating the unit we wanted to replace and have it working. Unfortunately even with a new bulb the light won't turn on.
Once again I turned to Yelp's 'Request Quote' option and received multiple quotes that ranged from $70-$200. It could only either be a contact issue or a blown out socket and the quoted prices were extraordinary.
However, I received a quote from Alejandro Can Fix It with a fair price and reasonable terms.
After a couple of exchanges we set up an appointment. I could sense his courteousness even in scheduling the appointment.
Next morning (Veteran's Day) Alejandro gave me a 15 minute heads up and arrived on time.
We exchanged pleasantries and some chit chat about schools and then he dived into work.
I noticed he was well prepared for the job with all necessary toolkits including a step stool.  
The part I liked about his workmanship was his troubleshooting skills. He proceeded in a step by step manner and also explained the rationale behind those steps. Ultimately it turned out to be a problem of simply flipping a different light switch that separately controlled that single light for night mode  but the way he 'debugged' the issue and got to that solution was akin to solving an engineering problem
Feeling embarrassed, I thanked him and also shamelessly asked him to debug my washer's drain problem. He wasn't judgmental even for a second and cheerfully accepted the assignment on spot despite his schedule.
Once again he explained the possible causes for drain issues and gave me a heads up that he could help me only with clog issues and that any drain pump problem might be out of his reach.
He reached out to the drain hose , didn't mind blowing it even though the pipe was gross and finally reached out to the drain trap where he unearthed a treasure worth 'A Dollar and A Dime' ,literally !!! There were those 5 coins that had been impeding the drain outlet all along. Phew !!!

Problems solved !!! He also gave useful tips in maintaining and cleaning the drain for longer drain pump life.
Ultimately , as stated above the 40 minutes he spent fixing the issues , was Simply Awesome  

He didn't charge me anything extra but I wanted to thank and appreciate his 'willingness to help' attitude and paid for the additional time.

I strongly recommend Alejandro for simple home jobs for his honesty, dedication and love for fixing stuff.

Had a clogged pipe that created a flooded garage. I called on a Sunday, they came with in the hour and the problem was resolved in 2 hours!! The tech was very nice and knowledgeable! Thank you  bad day averted.

As I try to have an active/healthy life style I realized at some point how much water I am going through every week. It was not only inconvenient to carry those water bottles but was not cost efficient. I start looking for alternative solutions online for in house water filtration systems. I had no idea of the existence of such a huge a variety of options, and I was not sure which one worked ( as they all they say online they work). I found Water Purification Systems online and decided to give them a try. The person on the phone was very friendly and knowledgeable. He walked me through all the different types of water filtration systems and explained the benefits of each of them. He recommended me a Reverse Osmosis System to be able to get high quality drinking water free of any impurities and chemicals. Also he suggested to add an alkaline filter to the system so I can get all the good minerals in the water. The price he quoted me including granite drilling and installation was way more reasonable than other Companies I contacted. So I decided to set up an appointment for installation and 2 days later right on time their technician was at my place.
I waited 6 months to write this review just to make sure everything works fine. I can tell you now the water taste great. I use the water for drinking, making coffee and cooking and never run out. I am really happy with the decision I made.
If you are still looking for a water drinking system just give this guys a call. They are truly awesome and they offer great quality service and products! I will definitely recommend Water Purification System to my friends and family!

Darryl Fountain came out to replace my water heater and gave me options when no one else did. Darryl was fast and  accurate . I definitely recommend him and will call him if a need a plumber again.

Such a professional and friendly company! I was very frustrated after being flaked on a couple times by other companies, so when I found San Diego Backflow Testing I was very satisfied. They were super professional and very fast to respond and get the job done! Jen got back to me right away when I called and when Adam showed up he was a nice guy, really knew what he was doing, and took care of my needs from start to finish. I was so relieved to finally get this level of service and not have to wait to get a call back!

We've had to call CPL a couple of times to detect leaks in our rental properties. They have been timely and friendly each time. The manager, Joey, was also responsive and helpful when we asked a leak detector to come back out to confirm the leak detection by taking care of an extra charge for us. We had them come and repair a hose leak and shower. They came and did a great job. They are very responsive on Yelp.

I just messaged them about a new leak near the area of the shower. Hopefully, they do a good job at a reasonable price here as well.
