We recently had Alvarado Electric upgrade our electric panel (& subpanel) to larger amp in preparation for solar and David was great! He corrected the existing subpar patchwork arrangement and he and his assistant replaced it beautifully. He came early for all appointments, gave us clear explanations/bids, and worked seamlessly with the city and SDGE for permits/inspections.

We were so pleased with the quality of his work, we hired him to add an in- door switch for an outside water feature and make some lighting changes in our house. Again, they worked together to efficiently and professionally complete these projects for us. I love, love, love the lighting they did in our hallway and living room! Can't say enough good things about Alvarado Electric...we highly recommend them.

Ramon was quick to respond and provide a fixed and reasonable quote. He fixed my electrical issue the next day after initial contact, was friendly, wore shoe covers to protect my floors, and even explained what went wrong and what he did to fix it. Thanks Ramon!

Louis has become my goto guy for electric. I am comfortable with electricity and my own hobbies involving power but when it comes to my house, I don't fool around.

Just had a random outlet smoke today while vacuuming and called White Horse (Louis). Not only did they call me back with an hour we had a time scheduled that worked for getting it checked.

Trust them. They do good work, they communicate, and they are very professional.

note: they are not a drywall company so special projects in home may need a separate set of hands to outside of the electric work. They were upfront on this doing an estimate for me but I do hope they add this in the future.

Linden responded to my inquiry in less than thirty minutes.  He was able to troubleshoot and fix my GFCI issue in less than a minute and fixed five outlets.  Also, Linden and Josh installed a new exterior mount bell box for my new Kuna flood light in less than one hour.  Linden and Josh were very professional and quick.  These guys have EXCELLENT knowledge, skills, and abilities with respect to residential electrical services.   They are AWESOME!

Jerry the owner of CLD was great!  We needed an outlet installed outside our house for an irrigation timer.   He installed the outlet mounted the timer & everything looks great.

Because I am getting ready to sell, and have thousands worth of renovations to do before listing, I decided to get multiple quotes for every aspect of the renovation. (painting, landscaping, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)

After doing research on several Electricians and getting multiple quotes for my scope of work, Jeff was an obvious choice for me. I actually could tell that Jeff was who I wanted for my rehab work through our first phone call. Off the bat you can tell that Jeff is extremely competent and knowledgeable, and it didn't take long into our conversation for me to understand he was intelligent. He was also very helpful. A lot of our conversation focused around educating me on identifying good subcontractors, different types of contracts and the legalities of each.

Although I had already knew off the bat (and scheduled Jeff), I decided to get other quotes just for my due diligence and reference points. The other electricians I met were either giving me outrageous quotes, or completely bloating my scope of work to increase how much they would make. Jeff on the other hand actually tried to grasp my ability and showed me multiple ways I could save money (by me either doing the work myself or educating me on what was necessary to impress buyers when selling a house.)  

When it was time to show up and do the work, Jeff was friendly, punctual, informative and completed his work in a timely manner. I highly recommend Jeff if you are looking for a QUALITY electrician. I will be recommending Dwelling Electric to my family and friends.

I called Core Electric about an outdoor outlet that was not working. They came out  in approximately 2 to 3 hours and replaced the outlet and made sure the outlet was safe and appropriate. Shane did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company. They are available 24 hours seven days a week.

I reached out to Jimmy with Spark It Up Electric after speaking with multiple electricians. Jimmy was very responsive, reasonably priced and often worked  to find creative solutions for the power and lighting issues throughout my house. I would highly recommend Spark it Up Electric for any project and will be reaching out to Jimmy again for projects in the future.

Quickly responded to my request for some help. I didn't end up having him come out, but I appreciate the quick contact which is more than I can say about a few other people I reached out to.

Doug did 7 jobs for me in two and a half hours, plus the time it took him to shop for two parts I knew he would need.  He worked very quickly, despite most of the tasks requiring various-sized ladders.  I really appreciated his on-time arrival.  He is friendly, a good communicator, and has a nice truck with all the tools and components you could hope for.  We are extremely satisfied with the work.

Because of Yelp reviews, we hired Ideal Plumbing for some minor repairs.  We found while their owners/managers and company are top-notch, and Ideal Plumbing may be deserving of great reviews, it really depends upon whom they send out.... as one or two others have commented here.

What was initially an easy shower valve replacement, and a small section of shower drain replacement, it took two visits, 2.75 hours,  and two slow workers for $487.  They/he also wanted to replace my pressure regulator for $300 plus labor, which I later did for $65 and about 10 easy minutes myself.  It took over a week from the time of the inspection for him to ever return.  In fact - with the leak still leaking - I had to call Ideal asking when he would be back.  Their rep said something was wrong and they apologized.  

I am sure this is a good company, but they need to better supervise whom they send out.   When I complained to the owner/manager, he was most receptive and said he would take action.   He kindly offered me compensation too, which I refused.  

I recommend Ideal, but if the one they send out does not impress you, get someone else.

Alfredo has done it again. This time he assisted with my bathroom Reno, I needed a new outlet installed, switched out my old lighting fixture for two new sconces and helped swap out my old dingy ceiling light for a nice clean recessed light. He was even able to assist with a wire we cut during our demo. He is always professional and efficient at completing the task you are hiring for. If you are needing a quality electrician make sure you consider Brilliant Electric as a choice.

A light fixture in a bedroom stopped working.  They came out and charged $180 to 'diagnose' the problem, which, with a voltage tester would have taken them less than 10 seconds.  They wanted to charge an additional $200+ to install a light fixture - not even providing the fixture.  Luckily, I found out about it before they came out to do it, and had my handy-around-the-house hubby do it.  Put in a $30 light fixutre in under 5 minutes, and we were done - the only tool required was a screwdriver.  The whole job, even if you charged a travel fee and an hour minimum should have been less than the $180 they charged for the 'diagnosis'.  I tell everyone I know to avoid them!
