Once in a while you come across a contractor that is so good to work with you want to share your experience.  Enter Alvarado Electric.  In my recent residential electrical job I found these guys to be both cost competitive and customer focused.  My job wasn't a big one but there were moving parts.  Owner David Alvarado listened, understood the issues and patiently explained the options. He and his colleague were prompt, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.  Invoicing was transparent and easy to understand.  But the best part is now at home after the sun goes down I really enjoy an improved lighting atmosphere.  Thanks Alvarado Electric!

Ended up going a different vendor, however Ramon is extremely knowledgeable and reliable. We came extremely close to choosing Ramon for our job, however ended up going with someone who provided better value and had a more flexible schedule. If you're looking for a top-tier electrician, highly recommend Rampad Electric, they may not be the best value however, they are definitely worth the premium, if you need it.

A+++++ total experience.  From the first contact with Edward to evaluating my situation with multiple pictures to actually coming over and doing the install, Edward was extremely professional and very friendly.  Within days of getting my EV, Edward fit me into his schedule and did the install.  Will definitely go back to Edward for future needs.

Luis was very responsive and helpful, we had a big project with many people coming to our home. We had delivery service to deliver our newly gas range, plumbers to install a new gas line and a electrician to remove the old round amp (electric stove) to replace with the 120volt and add another circuit breaker. Trying to have all these done in one day was hectic but we made it happened. The electrician (who I didn't get his name, sorry) was very respectful, had his booties on and face mask on the whole process. He even worked around the delivery service when they were dropping off and picking up the old range. Luckily the plumbers were coming in in a later time, he was done within 30 minutes. Thanks Luis and your crew for your work! Will definitely call you guys if we need more service.

Reached out to Carlsbad Electrical via Yelp and Linden responded within a couple hours - after business hours no less. He was able to fit me into his schedule the next day. Communication was clear, and he (and Josh) were very nice. They replaced a couple of outlets, rewired some of my landscape lighting, replaced a couple landscape light fixtures, and a couple other things. Work was completed quickly and with no surprises or problems. It wasn't the biggest project in history, but I will use Carlsbad Electrical again for any future needs, and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I bought a ring floodlight camera and contacted Tom for installation because there were no existing wires. He gave me a fair quote after i found him on yelp and decided to set up an appointment. Upon Arriving, Tom was very friendly and gave an exact break down of what was going to be done and how. Tom got to work diligently and thoroughly as he ran the wires thru my garage and installed light. Overall he did an awesome job and i am happy with the work. I highly recommend him for any type of residential electrical work.

I recently completely flipped my home, and needed an electrician to do the recessed lighting. I called CLD and they sent out Blake to do the work. Blake did a great job. Out of all the contractors I had, he was the only contractor to put in the extra hours to get the project done on time! When you say a job takes X amount of days to finish, I expect you to follow through and CLD did just that.

Super responsive and showed up right on time. Did great work and super fast. Highly recommend and if we find ourselves in need of an electrician again, we will definitely use Dwelling Electric!

After having a smoking electric socket on a Saturday morning, I was desperately trying to find someone that would come out to address my situation.  Craig answer my call right away, and told me he would squeeze me into his already booked day.  
When he showed up, he was so great about addressing not only my major concern ( smoking socket), but he took the time to go through all of the other electrical issues I had going on in my home.  As a parent, I was very concerned about an electrical fire.  He tested everything of concern, fixed what needed to be fixed, and help put my mommy mind at ease!

I called Jimmy with Spark it Up Electric and he was very responsive and helpful! He was able to come by that day to check out my faulty outlet and fixed it on the spot!  He is fast and efficient and I felt safe with him in my home. I also had him install a ceiling fan, which is awesome! Great priced and reliable too! I would definitely hire him again!!!

They came out quickly and solved my problem which turned out to be loose fuses, after a tightening my problem is solved. The service technician was there for 45 minutes and I got a bill for $160. I think that's outrageous, I looked up average wages of electricians and it says between 27 and $28 per hour for our area. And it's not like he had to drive far as I live right down the street from him. Happy with service, unhappy with price!

Wow!!! Called him late Friday to install a 50 amp plug for my trailer at my house and he was out there quickly to install it. the install looks natural to the house and left no mess behind. Thank you very much and will definitely refer you to all my friends and family!!!

I needed an electrician to install service to support an electric vehicle with substantial needs. Jeff and Ideal rose to the significant task of generating the proposal and permits to install the outlets and a dedicated feed with a new additional meter.

The plan and proposal went through 3 iterations as I was very particular about what I wanted.  I needed to ensure that we had capacity to support potentially 2 electric (big ones) vehicles simultaneously, charging them off-peak, without impacting our existing household electrical usage.

They did the job professionally and this complicated task was handled and coordinated expertly by Jeff and his team, including interfacing with SDGE and the city.

After reading the nice reviews I decided to call Brilliant for a quote for an outdoor outlet installation.  I set up the appt. for a Tuesday at 3:30 and no one showed or called. After 25 minutes I called Alfredo, got a million excuses, he apologized and then he said he could come out the following day around 10:00AM.  Guess what - again no show, no call!  Wouldn't use them if they were the last electricians on earth - no respect for others and their time!

We needed to have all of the outlets grounded in our old vintage Craftsman house before we moved in with our modern electronics. They gave us an estimate that beat other electricians we had contacted, but we were wondering if the quality of the work would suffer. Well, it didn't. The technicians they sent over were professional, knowledgeable and efficiently updated every socket, replacing wiring when needed. There was no mess left behind, either, which was a problem with another company who worked on our previous home. We will definitely call them again!
