We needed at 240V outlet installed in our garage and were referred to Carlsbad Electrical Services by a colleague who had a great experience with them.  Linden and his team were awesome.  They responded to my initial inquiry in less than 30 minutes and asked for photos of our electrical panel.  The quote was back within a couple of hours and was more than competitive.  The work was completed 2 business days after initial contact.  Absolutely incredible.  They were readily accessible via text message, easy to work with, flexible and considerate.  I will use their services again and I recommend them to anyone in need of A+ service.

They were on time and had on a mask the job was done without a problem. The Electrician was friendly and did a great job.

We needed an electrician to install our Ring Doorbell and Camera Floodlights. I had reached out to 3 or 4 electricians based on reviews in our neighborhood NextDoor app. My first appointment showed up, we walked the property, and they indicated they would email an estimate. I had two other electricians come out for quotes. The latter two never sent their quote. The first electrician sent a quote and then vanished. Several months later I found Horton Electric on Yelp. Tom, the owner, offered excellent advice about the install and provided his quote promptly. He also had installed Ring equipment prior to our visit. Tom installed our Ring equipment impeccably. We could not be happier. He is competitive, highly-skilled, an excellent communicator, responsible, professional, and delivers high-quality work. He is now our go-to electrician.

Had Ralph come out from CLD Electric to install some outlets in my closet, awesome guy very friendly and did a great job making nice clean cuts into the dry wall, and of course outlets work perfect!

Jeff is excellent. He did a superb job and was better than I had exlected. Jeff is reliable and knows residential electrical work at an advanced level. I have hired Jeff to do more projects and I am glad to have found an electrician after a lengthy search.

We highly recommend these guys! After being ghosted by an electrician that we had used in the past, I did a Yelp search and found these guys. I'm so glad I did. Craig and Shane were able to see us within 24 hours and help us out.

We just moved into our new spot and needed some electrical work done. They helped us add a plug for an electric car and had to run cables from one side of house to the other, which was no small task. We also had an issue with the kitchen breaker that they were able to fix for us.  

Something that really stood out with them is how quick and communicative they were throughout the whole process. We will definitely be using these guys again!

I am very happy with the services I received from Mark Snyder Electric. Their initial quote was more reasonable than others I received via Yelp. The technician that was sent out, David, was very knowledgeable and friendly. In about an hour he was able to fully diagnose our issue and recommend a course of action. In addition to that, he sent me the exact communication I needed to send to the power company for them to complete the fix, which was done in short order. I will be contacting again in the future for any additional needs.

Doug was quick to reply to my Yelp request, quick to schedule an inspection/estimate, able to schedule me for work a few days out, and showed up on time and did a great job(and quickly too).

Contacted this company due to the overall good ratings on Yelp. I had an old hot water heater in a stand-alone wash house on my property and it finally gave up the ghost. (It was also horribly out of code.) I gave consideration to replacing it with an electric tankless device which would have required installation of 220v.

Wrote a request for service via their website, and to my surprise I was called back within a couple of hours - 7:30 that evening! The technician and I chatted about the pros and cons of such a scenario, and promised to send out one of their electricians next-day.

He came, and after chatting a bit, we agreed it wasn't an ideal solution - best to just go with another traditional gas water heater. He stated he would make an effort to get one of their plumbers out next week to assess. (I waited a few days for a phone call but didn't receive one, so I just went back to their site and wrote up another request - no biggie, perhaps just a communication error.)

That written request, again, was followed up by a phone call in record time, and after Ideal came out and reassessed the needs (plus addressing all the needs to bring the install up-to-code!) I committed to the estimate and install date.

Friday morning 2 gentlemen showed up with everything that was needed for a top-notch, professional, almost gorgeous in-code install of a new hot water heater. The re-plumbing that had to be done was a work of art upon completion, and they had all the parts and tools needed to even vent up through the roof as my out-of-compliance previous install from dozens of years ago vented out the side wall. They didn't need to borrow a tool or interface with me once - by noon, Norris and Rob were done, and the old water heater was taken away.

These guys weren't just plumbers - they were artistic technicians - and as professional and friendly as one can get. I even showed off their job to some pretty hard-nosed critic friends of mine, and they were impressed. It sounds ridiculous, but I still find myself just staring at their work sometimes, out of sheer admiration for the challenges they faced and coming through with flying colors.

The estimate I was quoted upon that second visit (I think it was the actual owner!) didn't vary one red cent from the final bill.

I now have total peace of mind for all my plumbing, heating, air and electrical needs in future. Thanks, Ideal!

I chose Brilliant Electric to come install two new fixtures for ceiling fans in my home.  This was definitely a small job compared to some of the jobs described in the other reviews, but I definitely didn't feel like they treated me any differently.  Alfredo was great in setting up the appointment, detailing all the work that would be required and providing a cost breakdown for each portion.

On the day of the install, Jose and Alex showed up promptly, went over some last minute details (switch and fixture placement, etc.) and then got to work.  The crew put down dropcloths and set up drop cloth screens to keep drywall chunks and dust from getting all over the place, which was great.  In the end, they did great a job and they left the house as clean as when they arrived.  Very satisfied with the service and their prices.

My dining room light fixture was not working along with my two outdoor lights. I called ZED Electric in the morning on Friday, 1/2/14 and she said it would probably be Monday or Tuesday before someone could come out, which was fine with me. She took down my number and said she'd call me as soon as there was availability.

She called that afternoon around 2 and I was home. She sent over the electrician, who was super cool. I told him I wanted to fix the fixtures, as opposed to replacing.

The dining room - he took the fixture off and noticed the wires were taped up. He removed the tape and put wire nuts on the ends and  my light worked! Woo hoo!

The first outdoor light - He took the fixture off and noticed right away that the wiring was jacked up. He fiddled with the wiring and got it to work.

The second outdoor light - The fixture was old and he said it had a halogen bulb that was energy inefficient. He had an extra outdoor light that was really basic and he installed that for me. It was only $5.

So, to fix all 3 lights was exactly 1 hour which was $135 plus the outside light fixture, which was $5.

Overall, I highly recommend Zed Electric. Very professional, efficient service.
