Call these guys!! They know their trade and are awesome to work with! David and his team (shoutout to Peter and Troy) started with replacing my electrical panel and finished with changing out all the outlets and switches plus some lights too. Their knowledge, attention to detail, post-job clean up and patience with all my add-ons is appreciated! Thank you all again! Hummm...what else can I replace... ;)

The owner, Ramon, was very responsive when I submitted a request for quotes through Yelp. He came by my place to provide an in-person consultation for the services I requested. He was friendly, thorough, knowledgeable and gave good insight on what should and should not be done. Although I did not select him for this project, I will definitely use him in the future.

EV installs was great. I was provided a rough estimate over the phone for the installation of a Tesla charger in my garage to replace a standard nema charger. When he arrived, he opened up everything in front of me (explained all he saw) and unfortunately found many shortcuts in the original install. He identified lack of ground, incorrect gauge being used etc which was the cause of over heating at the outlet. The price did increase for the change of original scope but I was very happy to have the job done correctly. I recommend EV installs for your car charging needs as they are timely, professional and very detailed in the work performed.
Thank you very much for making this outlet safe for my family.

I was quoted $150 for Troubleshooting, diagnose and repairs.
Some outlets went out in my house. I tried resetting the outside breakers. I wasn't aware I had a soft panel inside my home. Louis came to my house and informed me I have soft panel. He flipped the switch on the soft panel in my house which took about 30 seconds. Still charged me the full $150 even though it was basically just a diagnosis. There wasn't any troubleshooting or repairs done. He was also over 40 minutes late from when he said he would be at my house.

I actually had a hanging light fixture that people hit their head on in my house, and I left it for years because I couldn't find a good electrician...and then I found Linden! He does quality work, he is super friendly and reliable. One time I had a small issue after he had been at our hose and he gladly came back to look at it/fix it in a timely manner. I definitely recommend him.

Our overhead lighting went out monday afternoon. We are a small family restaurant and needed the light to be fixed quickly and when we are closed. We found Ochoa Electric. And they service north county. When we called we received prompt service. The technician Enrique Gonzalez arrived promptly Tuesday at 9am as promised. Enrique did a great job!!
I Can't say enough about how smoothly it went.
We will be using Ochoa Electric and Enrique Gonzalez for all our electrical needs.

Tom Horton was very professional and was referred by Home depot. I highly recommend him as he knows his stuff. I had another electrician to check the wiring for my doorbell and they had mentioned it was going to coat $125. Horton just checked it and fixed the wiring and said that there was no need to run any wirings and that it was just wired incorrectly. He helped set up my Ring doorbell and made sure it was functioning right before leaving. He also mentioned that I don't need a chime as my phone would suffice. However, if I wanted one that I could purchase a Ring chime brand and that I could exchange what I originally purchase for it.

Jeff came and installed our EV charger. He was professional, fast, and most importantly reasonably priced. We will definitely be using his services again! Thanks Jeff!

I was in a dark place... (I laughed after I wrote this)
I was doing a little home improvement when I got in way over my head with the electrical. I had a complex (for me) circuit powering three different lights with three sets of three way switches. I spent an entire day trying to figure it out myself with online diagrams. Then it started to get dark outside and I realized I needed professional help. So I cracked open Yelp like I always do when I have to spend more than a few dollars. I limited my search to affordable, local, five star companies. I called four or five electrical companies. Some were big with call centers and secretary's who only had appointments beginning a week out. Some were small; The number dialed straight to the owner. Either way, no one was willing to help me when I needed it (right now!). I don't blame them. It was 6 PM. I probably wouldn't have helped me either.
Then I called Craig with Core Electric. He was different. Just talking over the phone I could tell he really wanted to help me. In fact, he was truly interested in my problem as if he actually liked what he does and thinks the paycheck is a perk. He too was unable to come over because early that morning he was involved in a head on collision and his car was destroyed, and he was working another project he anticipated would take him late into the evening.
Most guys would have let the stress and situation get to them and be abrasive and impatient with people over the phone. Craig took the time to listen to me, he looked at pictures and amateur diagrams I texted to him, and he actually walked me through the problem over the phone!?!? What? This is 2016 and old fashioned customer service doesn't exist anymore right? Wrong. With Craig you get old fashioned customer service. I know I will call him for any future electrical work and I'll recommend him to everyone I know. I hope, for your sake (future customer) this review finds you, because you won't be disappointed.

I called Jimmy with Spark it Up Electric and he was very responsive and helpful! He was able to come by that day to check out my faulty outlet and fixed it on the spot! He is fast and efficient and I felt safe with him in my home. I also had him install a ceiling fan, which is awesome! Great priced and reliable too! I would definitely hire him again!!!

At first, I though I'd found my 'forever go to' electrical service. I spoke to David and he was very knowledgable, providing an evaluation of what needed to be accomplished through texted photos and phone conversations. Then, it took weeks to get a cost quote. Once the quote came it took several more weeks to get a scheduled appointment. Then on the appointment date, they never showed up. I waited, and waited, then called them and they didn't even have me on their schedule (and they are the ones that gave me the appointment day and time). I could go on, however no need. It doesn't matter how much experience and knowledge a business can provide, if they have no customer service acumen and they don't follow through.....

Doug was recommended on the Santee facebook community page and he certainly delivered great service. He is honest and fair priced.

Needed quick service and Ideal Plumbing responded to help meet my needs. We needed to move the washer and dryer so the new tiles could be installed. Naturally, what else could go wrong, the facets needed replacement. Ideal responded quickly, did an excellent job at a reasonable cost. New facets were installed as well as new hoses. Now the tile work can remain on schedule. I could not be happier with the work performed by Chris Taylor, our service technician. Thank you Chris and thank you Ideal Plumbing for meeting my needs and far exceeding my expectations.

The owner I spoke to schedule the work, Alfredo, was nice. Rescheduled the day of appointment 5 times. They did show up on time the day they made it. They looked at the project and confirmed the price. They broke $200 of eqipment with no apology or offering to replace - did acknowledge it. Caught one of them going through my things, opening drawers and shuffling through cabinets - there's no electrical in my dressers. The work was pretty good. Then they said they were going to have to charge twice what they quoted for the job without a reason or explanation why they couldn't have told me it would cost more instead of lying. After they left I found they also had gone into another room and taken some small office supplies. Also, another contractor was looking at their work and said the wiring wasn't correct, he was nice enough to fix it for free as part of what he was already doing. Before the increase price they were only $20 cheaper than my 2nd quote and $40 cheaper then my 3rd quote. I can't call into work 5 times and sit in the room they are working in to make sure they don't steal or break anything so I won't hire them again but I appreciate the effort.

I have used Zed several times now. I appreciate that they are in my neighborhood, I like to give my business to local folks. They are professional and courteous and always get the job done without a glitch. I also appreciate that they send me a bill, very trusting and neighborly. They are my go to electricians.
