Call these guys!! They know their trade and are awesome to work with! David and his team (shoutout to Peter and Troy) started with replacing my electrical panel and finished with changing out all the outlets and switches plus some lights too. Their knowledge, attention to detail, post-job clean up and patience with all my add-ons is appreciated! Thank you all again! Hummm...what else can I replace...   ;)

Had an issue with an exterior garage outlet that stopped working suddenly. Sent multiple requests out to Electricians for quotes. Most were overpriced and honestly gouging customers. Ramon responded quickly that he couldn't get out for over a week but offered some advise of potential easy DIY problems. After a few minutes troubleshooting he helped resolve the GFCI issue and probably saved my family $300+ dollars for a none issue. Highly advise anyone who is ethical enough to help people whether or not the get the business.

EV installs was great. I was provided a rough estimate over the phone for the installation of a Tesla charger in my garage to replace a standard nema charger. When he arrived, he opened up everything in front of me (explained all he saw) and unfortunately found many shortcuts in the original install. He  identified lack of ground, incorrect gauge being used etc which was the cause of over heating at the outlet. The price did increase for the change of original scope but I was very happy to have the job done correctly.  I recommend EV installs for your car charging needs as they are timely, professional and very detailed in the work performed.

Guys did an excellent job running my wall charger from back panel into garage. Clean installation with patch work. Also did two nice outlet installs. They worked with us around a tight schedule to ensure we had charger moved from one house to another on same day to ensure we didn't lose ability to charge.

We got a quote by someone else who was telling us we needed to replace some electrical panel, our landlord told us to get another quote and so we called Carlsbad electrical services, they figured out that we didn't need to replace anything and it was just an issue with one outlet and he was able to fix it really easily.

Another outstanding job!!! They recently added garage LED lighting and an outlet to supplement a smaller shop light. This is a 1000 times better. Thanks guys.

I contacted Jeff to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for EV charging, and an external 110V for the backyard. During our initial talks he was very thorough about how he would install the outlets at their desired locations. He came over 2-days later and did an excellent job with the installation.
The 14-50 outlet was installed within the wall and he ran the wiring under the house. Everything looks clean and precise, you can tell he takes pride in his work.  The price was fair for the work he did. I would ask Jeff for his services again if something else comes up.

Buyer beware , they charge a $500 Troubleshooting fee if they can't find the problem in 15 minutes. This is something that they will not tell you when you call and schedule an appointment. They will spring it on you after you've been waiting three hours for them to arrive at your house.

Guess how long it took them to find the problem, 20 minutes... con artists.

The lady answering the phone is useless, rude and should be no where near anything to do with customer service. Xantrex said they were a warranty center, Xantrex also said they were in Carmichael, CA. These people are not. Aside from being rude they are running a scam with were they are located.

When calling Xantrex, Xantrex was great. Xantrex is pushing a fast return for us. By sending it back to the factory. As a small business we try to do all the business we can with other small businesses. Businesses with this attitude don't deserve your support. Joan is not nice or helpful.

Called and made an appointment with Doug, the owner. He ghosted me and never responded to my calls or messages at the scheduled date and time. I had to take off time from my busy day and work schedule only to find out he flaked. if time is important to you, he wont value it.

UPDATE:  Doug ended up reaching out to apologize for the mix-up and promptly asked to come take care of me.  Between him and his wife, they handled and managed this situation very professionally and the work Doug did was awesome. I would hire them again!

This is our second time (new house) having Dustin come install a tankless water heater. We had such a great experience with Ideal the first time we knew we wanted them for the job this time around. Dustin has an incredible attention to detail and really goes above and beyond. Love that they have multiple people in the office working on scheduling and making sure we're all on the same page and on time. Highly recommend!

Well i thought i posted this a few weeks backs...Similar type story.  I googled el cajon electrician.  Read the yelp review and called Alfredo.  He spoke to me on ring two.  I told him what i did and he said Ill be there Tuesday(it was Friday).  He met my father and my dad said he was great.  He trouble fixed what I did wrong replaced a part that I didnt have,at cost, and was very professional.  This is my first place and I have an electrician for life.  I recommended him to a friend and he showed up 8pm on a Friday night and fixed her problem...awesome.

I've used Zed Electric numerous times and have always been impressed.  Years ago, I needed power ran to a new hot tub.  I researched a bunch of companies and selected Zed Electric. The technicians were on-time, courteous, and did great work.  
About a month ago, we purchased a new home and needed a variety of electrical work done that was noted in our home inspection.  I reached out to Zed Electric once again.  I spoke with Dave, the owner, and explained what work was needed.  He asked for a copy of the inspection report so they would know exactly what they were looking at when they came to do their estimate.  Matt arrived on time to perform a more comprehensive inspection.  He noted a few additional items, which the general inspection hadn't caught.  About a week later, I was able to get an appointment set and the work completed.  
In the midst of all of this, I was having some repair work done to my existing home to get it ready to sell.  One of the contractors tripped a couple of circuits and they wouldn't reset. As luck would have it, one of them was the circuit my internet connected to, and since I'm currently working from home, I needed it fixed ASAP.  I called Zed Electric and explained the situation.  Dave was able to dispatch a technician immediately and within the hour I was back up and working.  
I realize many reviews are written based solely on a single experience, either good or bad.  But, I have now had four great experiences with Zed Electric.  So look no further, Zed Electric will not let you down.
