Call these guys!! They know their trade and are awesome to work with! David and his team (shoutout to Peter and Troy) started with replacing my electrical panel and finished with changing out all the outlets and switches plus some lights too. Their knowledge, attention to detail, post-job clean up and patience with all my add-ons is appreciated! Thank you all again! Hummm...what else can I replace...   ;)

Ended up going a different vendor, however Ramon is extremely knowledgeable and reliable. We came extremely close to choosing Ramon for our job, however ended up going with someone who provided better value and had a more flexible schedule. If you're looking for a top-tier electrician, highly recommend Rampad Electric, they may not be the best value however, they are definitely worth the premium, if you need it.

Edward from EV installs showed up to fix a poor install from a previous contractor. He was able to get my Tesla charger installed and set up the way it was intended. He also fixed a couple outlets that went bad in my home. He was on time, courteous and professional. I'm so glad I found a dependable electrician in San Diego!

My husband and I were in need of an emergency electrician New Years Day. With it being a holiday we figured no one would be able to come out so we called and left CLD Electric a message. Jerry called us right back and we were able to set up an appointment for 9am the next day. Jerry was awesome! He came out looked at everything and was able to handle and fix our issue right then and there. He was very professional and kind. I had half of my power go out in my house on a Saturday evening, after searching for electricians that did weekend calls, I came across Core Electric, After reading many excellent reviews I called Craig on Sunday morning, he was able to come out the same day troubleshoot and resolve the problem. Mark and his team are top notch. My electric service box overheated and was damaged during the September long weekend heat wave we experienced here in San Diego. Mark's team showed up promptly to make temporary repairs so I could continue to maintain my household while we scheduled in a full electric service replacement. They helped navigate the entire process which takes weeks and requires significant coordination with the local utility, obtaining various approvals, completing the actual electric box replacement and then finally certification and drywall repair. They managed each step in the process and did an excellent job completing the work on-time and as budgeted. I highly recommend them for any electric service repairs or if you are considering upgrading your electric service for solar or for EV charging.

Contacted this company due to the overall good ratings on Yelp. I had an old hot water heater in a stand-alone wash house on my property and it finally gave up the ghost. (It was also horribly out of code.) I gave consideration to replacing it with an electric tankless device which would have required installation of 220v.

Wrote a request for service via their website, and to my surprise I was called back within a couple of hours - 7:30 that evening! The technician and I chatted about the pros and cons of such a scenario, and promised to send out one of their electricians next-day.

He came, and after chatting a bit, we agreed it wasn't an ideal solution - best to just go with another traditional gas water heater. He stated he would make an effort to get one of their plumbers out next week to assess. (I waited a few days for a phone call but didn't receive one, so I just went back to their site and wrote up another request - no biggie, perhaps just a communication error.)

That written request, again, was followed up by a phone call in record time, and after Ideal came out and reassessed the needs (plus addressing all the needs to bring the install up-to-code!) I committed to the estimate and install date.

Friday morning 2 gentlemen showed up with everything that was needed for a top-notch, professional, almost gorgeous in-code install of a new hot water heater. The re-plumbing that had to be done was a work of art upon completion, and they had all the parts and tools needed to even vent up through the roof as my out-of-compliance previous install from dozens of years ago vented out the side wall. They didn't need to borrow a tool or interface with me once - by noon, Norris and Rob were done, and the old water heater was taken away.

These guys weren't just plumbers - they were artistic technicians - and as professional and friendly as one can get. I even showed off their job to some pretty hard-nosed critic friends of mine, and they were impressed. It sounds ridiculous, but I still find myself just staring at their work sometimes, out of sheer admiration for the challenges they faced and coming through with flying colors.

The estimate I was quoted upon that second visit (I think it was the actual owner!) didn't vary one red cent from the final bill.

I now have total peace of mind for all my plumbing, heating, air and electrical needs in future. Thanks, Ideal!

Wow! Stellar customer service!

Situation: It's a Saturday and I'm having trouble with my dishwasher not turning on.  I called Brilliant and they said they only have emergency service at $300. BUT! They said if that was too much they could help me out over the phone (FOR FREE!). They cheerfully and without complaint or attitude spent over 15 minutes on the phone diagnosing the problem.

Result: I was able to fix the problem. But more importantly the time they took to help me fix the issue shows how great the folks who work here are and how they genuinely care about helping you out.

We have used Zed Electric for a few projects around the house, and are always satisfied with the work - and the level of professionalism. The technicians are on time, friendly, and helpful. For the last project, we wanted to install a ceiling fan but weren't sure whether the fan we were interested in would work with our switching configuration. I spoke directly with Dave Zedaker, the owner, who gave me advice. We purchased the fan and his technician installed it in less than an hour.
