Once in a while you come across a contractor that is so good to work with you want to share your experience.  Enter Alvarado Electric.  In my recent residential electrical job I found these guys to be both cost competitive and customer focused.  My job wasn't a big one but there were moving parts.  Owner David Alvarado listened, understood the issues and patiently explained the options. He and his colleague were prompt, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.  Invoicing was transparent and easy to understand.  But the best part is now at home after the sun goes down I really enjoy an improved lighting atmosphere.  Thanks Alvarado Electric!

Ramon did a fantastic job installing an outlet for our dryer and an ev charging outlet. His professionalism, attention to detail and communication were all superb. He will for sure be my go to guy for all of my electrical needs.

Edward was very helpful and got to our project very promptly. We are expecting to receive our EV next month and needed to prepare for charging. There are some things you need to know when installing level-2 charging capability. We recommend, especially for EV charging, to use a specialist like EV Installs. Highly recommend!

Linden has done work for us twice in the past. The first job was to install an outlet on our outdoor patio. We needed it done in a pinch before having a party, and he even came out on a holiday weekend to take care of us. The most recent job was to change our ceiling fan for a newer model. Both times he has gotten the job done quickly, efficiently and for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

We needed an electrician to install our Ring Doorbell and Camera Floodlights. I had reached out to 3 or 4 electricians based on reviews in our neighborhood NextDoor app. My first appointment showed up, we walked the property, and they indicated they would email an estimate. I had two other electricians come out for quotes. The latter two never sent their quote. The first electrician sent a quote and then vanished. Several months later I found Horton Electric on Yelp. Tom, the owner, offered excellent advice about the install and provided his quote promptly. He also had installed Ring equipment prior to our visit. Tom installed our Ring equipment impeccably. We could not be happier. He is competitive, highly-skilled, an excellent communicator, responsible, professional, and delivers high-quality work. He is now our go-to electrician.

Had a late night emergency at 10pm on a Saturday night when a fuse blew. Tried calling lots of places but Craig was the only one that responded. He came out fast within the hour himself to come fix it. Craig was incredibly nice and professional and got it fixed up lickety split. Really saved me and I highly recommend him and Core Electric.

Mark and his team are top notch. My electric service box overheated and was damaged during the September long weekend heat wave we experienced here in San Diego. Mark's team showed up promptly to make temporary repairs so I could continue to maintain my household while we scheduled in a full electric service replacement. They helped navigate the entire process which takes weeks and requires significant coordination with the local utility, obtaining various approvals, completing the actual electric box replacement and then finally certification and drywall repair. They managed each step in the process and did an excellent job completing the work on-time and as budgeted. I highly recommend them for any electric service repairs or if you are considering upgrading your electric service for solar or for EV charging.

Doug was on time, a great communicator before and during the job, and his prices are excellent. He and Rick installed four ceiling fans, fixed a dimmer, and replaced five light fixtures for me today, with considerate  customer service throughout. I got several bids for this job, and I'm really glad that I went with Bingham Electric.

Outstanding service. Had a leak in my guest bedroom ceiling, first noticed when I saw a dark stain on the carpet. Immediately turned water off and started hunting for a plumber. The first 3 I called were unable to come out ranging in time from 3 days to 2 weeks. The third business recommended Ideal and I am so glad they did. Aaron showed up in a few hours and was able to diagnose the problem. He and Ramiro came back the next day to finish the job. I can't say enough about how professional and caring they were. Job well done. Also need to praise the office staff, Jamie, Roseanne and Vivian. Had several conversations with them and was very impressed by their knowledge and professionalism. Was kept aware by text and phone calls about the projected times of arrival which helped me plan my day. Thank you all for helping me through this problem.

Alfredo, answered my call right away and pretty much knew what the problem was over the phone. He was able to come out the next morning and gave me honest and affordable options. He is very knowledgeable and clearly explained what he would be doing. He also answered ALL my questions. Within a few hours he completed the repair. He is a very careful and clean worker. This is a real review written by a real customer.   I am a small business owner starting to do business  in San Diego.   Zed Electric was referred to me by a property owner/client, and their performance has exceeded every expectation.   David Zedaker and his staff exemplify the highest  ideal in competent work, fair dealings, and customer service I have likely ever experienced in my business life.   My projects are small and inconsequential likely in the overall scope of their business.  Yet they treat my work as their highest priority and have further graciously accomodated a number of changes in the schedule as factors outside my control impacted the plan.   Bottom line, you could not find a better qualified or more conscientious general contractor and electrician, what a stroke of luck it was for me to find these guys in the first place.
