EV installs was great. I was provided a rough estimate over the phone for the installation of a Tesla charger in my garage to replace a standard nema charger. When he arrived, he opened up everything in front of me (explained all he saw) and unfortunately found many shortcuts in the original install. He  identified lack of ground, incorrect gauge being used etc which was the cause of over heating at the outlet. The price did increase for the change of original scope but I was very happy to have the job done correctly.  I recommend EV installs for your car charging needs as they are timely, professional and very detailed in the work performed.

Jose and Luis are very professional and helpful. I bought my home earlier this year and quickly found it had some electrical problems. After an unfortunate series of electricians sent by my home warranty company, I decided to find a more competent electric company myself. Luis was able to provide to me a quote for a replacement of my sub panel and dispatched Jose the following day to troubleshoot my power outage. Jose methodically went through his process of finding the problem, taking the time to explain everything to me (I was hovering due to the issues caused by the previous electricians). Once he discovered the issue, he explained what most likely caused it and went through the home ensuring power was restored. I asked his opinion on my sub panel, since the prior electricians had recommended I replace it, but Jose said it looked good. My home is old and I expect much more electrical issues to appear, so I will absolutely be keeping White Horse Electric as my go to. Thanks again for your services!

It's been about a month since I had work done with Carlsbad Electrical. I have been super busy with work, but i wanted to make sure I let any potential customers know that this company is amazing. I got a response quickly, and Josh was sent out the next day. Josh spent some time looking for the most cost-effective way to install an outdoor outlet, and he did an amazing job. Not only did he take the time to explain everything, but he went above and beyond what i had expected. You get what you pay for, and i wanted to find a local business, and Carlsbad Electrical will be my go-to for any problems I have. Thank you again guys you made a very stressful situation quickly dealt with.

Ok, so I needed a connection to my house for a generator I bought just in case of a power grid failure.  Two other electricians were unable to do the job.  Then I found Ochoa Electric.  Eddy Ochoa came to the house and told me exactly what was needed.  He returned with his crew and did a beautiful job, carefully explaining to me what needs to be done before connecting the generator to the house.  I was particularly impressed with the care given to do the job right.  I highly recommend Ochoa Electric.

Tom Horton was very professional and was referred by Home depot.  I highly recommend him as he knows his stuff.   I had another electrician to check the wiring for my doorbell and they had mentioned it was going to coat $125.  Horton just checked it and fixed the wiring and said that there was no need to run any wirings and that it was just wired incorrectly.  He helped set up my Ring doorbell and made sure it was functioning right before leaving.  He also mentioned that I don't need a chime as my phone would suffice.   However,  if I wanted one  that I could purchase a Ring chime brand and that I could exchange what I originally purchase for it.

I had a problem with a circuit upstairs in my condo. I called and everyone was super professional but the receptionist didn't want to discuss pricing and left it to the tech.

Orlando shows up at my condo at 3:00pm as expected. I tell him the issue, and show him the breakers and all the CFGI outlets I have and have already reset. He resets the one in my bathroom and repairs my problem with one finger push. I told him that I did that earlier and nothing changed.

He then starts to tell me the itemized total $165.00. This is why I wanted to discuss pricing for everything before he came out. $90 for 30 min of troubleshooting, which he did not need to do because I told him the issue. Also he was not even here for that duration of time. Then I was charged the service fee of 75 dollars, which I was content on paying because ultimately he was able to fix my issue. For some reason everyone dodges the question so that the tech can bend you over later.

Not only did I tell him the problem that I had exactly, I also showed him how to fix it. I'm upset because he was here for less than 5 min of work and didn't need to use any of his tools, yet I was charged a crazy amount.

Then we had an argument about how much it should be, The tech goes on to lecture me in my own home comparing his service to a car locked door situation and it costing 90 dollars for a 5 min job to unlock his car. I'd gladly pay $90 for him to come out and press a button. I had already paid the man. At this point I just wanted him out the house but he just stood there. I had to walk him out. So it is 3:10pm, I thanked him for the fix but expressed that the 90 dollar fee on top of their service charge is unnecessary in this situation and I can be mad about it. I will not be using this company again.

In response to Jerry's reply. If you read the review, he did fix my issue. So i still needed him to come out. And you may want to check you order of operations. The woman on the phone clearly states that the technician will go over pricing with you when he arrives. May want to go back to your recording. Also, if I knew speaking to you was even an option, I would have.  The technician stated he can't do anything else for me as far as the overpriced fee goes. I have no intention of flaming any business. Just sharing my experience. Isn't this what yelp is for? I hope your business still thrives. I have a family to take care of which I am sure you do too. I just won't do it by charging bogus fees. I also won't be lectured in my own living room in front of my family for asking for a more reasonable price. Have a good day Jerry...

If you want a professional, knowledgeable, competent, honest and friendly electrician, Jeff from Dwelling Electric is who you're looking for. After reading Yelp reviews and comparing quotes, I decided to schedule with Jeff. He was very easy to communicate with and arrived on time for our appointment. I wanted a general electrical inspection for a home I just purchased. We walked through the home and Jeff thoroughly explained what work could be done, always giving me the choice if that was something I wanted to do. He worked efficiently given the amount of work to be done (multiple outlet/switch replacements, switch box replacement, removal of old electrical wires from previous light fixtures). He really knows what he's doing and an expert in his field. I really appreciated his professional opinion and guidance. I would highly recommend him to my family, friends, and anyone else looking for a quality electrician. I'll definitely be a returning customer for future electrical needs.

We had an issue with our electrical system at 7am on Sunday morning. I searched online and found Craig through Yelp. He was the only electrician out of 5-6 to pick up the phone and was over just two hours later.

He fixed what was needed and was in and out quickly. Very nice and accommodating as well - he is who we will go to for any future issues! Thanks, Craig!

We were in a pinch and I saw a recommendation for Jimmy on NextDoor, so I called.  Fortunately he was free the next morning and he went to work trying to figure out our lack of power on one wall problem.  He was able to find the source of the problem and fix it for a reasonable price- we were very happy with his work and hope to hire him for some future projects.  Even my uber-picky husband was impressed.  Excellent customer service skills too!

We had a Xantrex 6048 solar inverter that stopped working. We are at a very remote location so Mark provided us support over the phone to diagnose issue. Mark was so polite and accommodating yet completely professional. He obviously has lots of experience yet was very patient as he walked us through diagnostics step by step. I would highly recommend Mark for anything electric.

I can't say enough about the owners on Ideal.  The support they give to our community is outstanding.  They help sponsor and pay for many of the community events in our area.  I love supporting local companies that give back and take pride in their communities.

They also do quality work.  I have a service contract for both my AC and tankless water heater that they installed.  They also remodeled my kitchen many years ago.  I call them any time I have a problem, and they are all over it.

At the beginning of December, I contacted Brilliant Electric to request the installation of two sets of outdoor outlets, to permit access to power for Christmas decorations without having to run extension cords under the garage door.  It would also be more convenient when using electric gardening tools, in the front lawn.  I was pleasantly surprised that Alfredo fit me into his busy schedule for the following week.

Alfredo began by asking where the outlets were to be located.  After I showed him where they went, he asked additional questions, to make sure that I was aware of all my options.  I wound up with a layout that included two duplex outlets and an indoor switch that would control the power to one outlet from each of the duplex outlets.  Per my request, one of the weatherproof electrical outlet boxes was mounted on an outside wall, and the other was fixed to the inside of a fascia board.

The outlets look great and work beautifully.  The work area was left clean, inside and out.  Alfredo was friendly and knowledgeable.  The cost of installation was very reasonable (I had appraisals from three businesses).

I unconditionally recommend Brilliant Electric, and will use them again for any future projects.

Zed Electric has provided prompt & courteous service over 4 times I have used them.
