Oscar is a caring and knowledgeable professional.  I am thankful to have located a trustworthy neighborhood plumber.  I hired Oscar for his video camera inspection for an underground pipe in my garage.  For some reason, this pipe has been accumulating water, and I couldn't locate where it was coming from.  Oscar showed up, ran the snake camera and informed me that my pipe was fine, and the likely culprit was a broken sprinkler near my dryer vent.  This saved me $$$$$$ because my other option would have been to break open the concrete.

During the inspection, we noticed that a section of the pipe was filled with water.  He was able to tell how big of a pain this issue has been for me.    Oscar suggested that I get rid of the water using a shop vac and offered to come back for a second inspection (Free of charge), so we can get a better view of the pipe.  He didn't have to do this.  He showed me that he cared about me as a customer and is here to help me.  He came by the next day and ran a second inspection which confirmed his initial diagnosis of the problem (Damn sprinkler!)

Had a pretty bad clog in our bathroom lavatory that was previously diagnosed as a lost cause and would require $1k in fixing. Figured that was over the top and found Roma Rooter (Cris Perri) on yelp. What a find He came in and was very persistent and thorough and finally unclogged our drain. Very honest and very informative and gave great advice...Never use store bought chemicals to unclog! It can make matters worst. Highly recommend Cris and would definitely use him again in the future.

I recently used Matthews Plumbing after having some plumbing issues in my home. I am renting an older home, so problems come up. But, I have a 3 yr old and a preschool in the home so plumbing issues are not something I need! Matthew came out in a timely manner and was able to get everything back up and running in no time. My landlord may have been responsible for the bill, but to be fair I wanted something fair priced.. which he definitely was!  So, my landlord and myself were both happy! I will definitely use him and his company for future needs and would recommend/refer him to anyone in need of a good, trust worthy plumber.

Very professional and also helpful, the reports with lots of diagrams so make it easy read, it's my first time to choose home inspection authority but I highly recommend to my clients.

11/3/2020   This is an update to my review of this fabulous company from last week.       We had a new issue come up at our house - our tankless water heater just stopped working mid dishwashing!  I called City Plumbing and Frances jumped right on getting Luis out to our house to look at the water heater.  It turned out to be a tripped breaker, and bless his heart, Luis did not look at me like I was a looney lady for calling him out for this simple fix.  He asked me about whether we had been instructed upon installation about maintenance and filters for the unit.  We had not, so I went ahead and authorized the service and installation of the filter system.  Everything was done by early evening.  The professionalism is tremendous.  Everyone from this company has taken care to be clean and clean up.  I really appreciate that.  Put City Plumbing and Rooter at the top of your plumbing list!

My family has used Keefe for decades and we have always been happy with their professional, knowledgeable and reliable service. They are not a discount service, but their prices are fair and competitive with comparable businesses.

I set up a service with Riordan Plumbing to help with a water shut off of a building in order to perform repairs inside a unit. The appointment was set up at 9 am to shut it off and at 1 pm to turn it back on. After the repairs were made it was barely around 10 am, so I called Riordan to see if they could come back early to turn it back on. Unfortunately, they technician was busy and couldn't come early, which is fine.

The problem occurred when the technician didn't show on time for turning the water back on. I called multiple times and either the technician was not reached or was told they were running late from another job. In the end, the technician arrived an hour late. This created an issue for me because the entire building had no water for an entire extra hour than needed and also I had to pay an extra hour to the contractor doing the repairs because Riordan didn't make it on time. On top of that, the technician was not able to turn the water heater back on (though he tried in multiple ways) and took approximately another 1.5 hours.

After all of this, I asked Riordan given the grievances particularly because of the late arrival of the technician, to help me at least offset the extra cost that I had to absorb by paying the other contractor for the extra hour he had to stay. Riordan Plumbing was unsympathetic and argued that they never give specific appointments (only time-frames), and it has been that way in their twenty-something years of experience in the industry, which that is not what I was told when I set up my appointment. Additionally, the technician told me that they were not even charging the extra 30 minutes he took trying to make the water heater run again, which he couldn't do (as if that should be my reward for the entire situation)... In the end, they only offered me a $20 discount on my bill which was not even 20% of what I had to pay for the extra hour to the other contractor.

After this experience, I wouldn't recommend Riordan Plumbing. They don't care enough about their customers and were condecending in their treatment.
