The work that Mr. Harris completed was good.

However, we gave Mr. Harris a list of jobs around the house that needed to be completed. He gave us an estimate for the complete list (minus some outlet covers in the kitchen, a window lock and insulation, tub glazing - things he said we'd have to find someone else for, and that was fine).

The problem was that he did not complete the other items on the list. He didn't replace (one of the outlet covers - wires left without plates covering them).

He didn't grout and caulk in the kitchen.

He said the doors didn't fit and couldn't be hung. We had someone else go and hang them for us even though we paid Mr. Harris for the job.

Before I paid him, he told me that his work was guaranteed, and that I could call him to come back if there was any problem.

When I called, he was very defensive and told me he had finished the job.

We paid him too much for an incomplete job.

Dave is wonderful -- very professional and organized.  He comes on time. His bids are accurate.  He pays attention, works very hard, and is very conscientious. He focuses on quality, and clearly does things beyond what he needs to.  We are very happy with his work, and would recommend him without hesitation.

Update: Dave is great.  We had a leak in the bathroom and needed help fast.  Dave came and fixed in a jiffy.  You can't go wrong with him.

Needed a cleanout for the waste line built. Oscar was honest and gave me a reasonable price and had the job completed in a timely manner.

I needed a faucet and disposal unit attached to a new sink. Orlando did great work for a good price and showed up at my home exactly when he said he would. Very friendly and efficient. I will definitely use him again.

We were visiting my 82yo grandma for Christmas when we smelled gas outside. She has lost her sense of smell from age so we called immediately, since we had no idea how long this had been an issue. The gas company gave us a 4hr window for arrival and ultimately had the gas turned off for the night until we could get plumber help. BEFORE calling The Plumber, we called another 24hr service who basically said can we talk during normal business hours (yea no, they lost our business). The Plumber (the company) answered the phone immediately at 11pm and was extremely helpful and open. He encouraged me to call first thing in the morning to get on the schedule. When I called at 8am, they answered IMMEDIATELY and put us on the schedule.  Brad arrived promptly 1hr later, assessed the situation, diagnosed the problem and came up with a plan to fix it. Ultimately, the issue was a corroded gas line that probably has been damaged for years (see photo) to the point that he could snap it by hand & showed us the hole where the gas was leaking out. Brad and his co-worker Paul, worked diligently all day and in less than 24hrs from the time of the original call to the gas company, we were back in business with gorgeous copper pipes and sealed back up with cement!!! Amazing, respectful, professional, highly communicative and charged the EXACT estimate- ZERO secret fees.
10/10 recommend.

Our water heater went out unexpectedly, no hot water, so I created a project on Yelp to get quotes and support. MVP was the first to respond, almost instantly, and considering it was around 10pm at night. Most other companies I reached out to responded the next day or even a few days later. My home had a major blockage in the plumbing that prevented me from flushing the toilets, using the water to do laundry, etc. My husband called this company. Osman and Pablo were able to diagnosis the situation quickly. They gave clear recommendations. They performed the tasks to fix the problem. Osman and Pablo were professional, hard working and finished the job as they described in the time frame that they indicated. I recommend this plumbing company.

Merco and his team did a fabulous job. I just purchased a new condo and the inspector found a moist area in the hardwood that tested positive for mold. Merco was incredibly helpful in trying to determine where the source of water was and his team including Tony waited for me for almost an hour while I was stuck in traffic. I told them I wanted to be able to see the work for myself and they waited patiently for me to arrive and explained everything to me including what had already been accomplished and how the chemical fog would work. For a first time home owner going through a stressful process Merco and his team helped to alleviate my concerns and their level of service and dedication to their line of work was extremely impressive.

Reynaldo and Franciseco came out to day in the rain and help me out with my backed up drain . Highly recommended this company .

As a single woman, I have had more than one dishonest plumber try to sell me expensive plumbing services.  Jeff is totally honest and never  overcharges.  I have some weird plumbing challenges in my house and he always patiently trouble shoots them even if it means going up on my roof!  He is always friendly and prompt.  A GREAT PLUMBER!!

When the drains in our house backed up, and our plumber, for the first time ever, couldn't snake them successfully, we called A1. They came out immediately, and brought a camera, which clearly showed the problem(s)--invasive roots in the main sewer line and places where the line had broken. Over the next two days, they worked efficiently to prepare and install a sleeve in the entire line--ultimately far more than they had initially planned, but without increasing the cost. All the workers that showed up were professional, personable, very hard-working, efficient, and took obvious pride in their work. They left our property in pristine condition--you couldn't tell they were here despite digging two deep trenches along the way to access and repair the line. George was the first on the scene, and the last, and worked alongside some top-notch specialists/co-workers until the job was done. His dedication to resolving our plumbing crisis, and his detailed explanations of the entire process, including photos, were really appreciated.

Yesterday was a Sunday when I discovered that my toilet wasn't working properly. I called Fearless Plumbing Service and they sent a technician over within one hour. The toilet  needed special parts that wouldn't be available until the next day. But they came back the next day (Monday) with the right parts and had the toilet working within one hour. They left the service a  re ea clean and dry. Nightly recommended!

Alen was a very responsive and helpful plumber in repairing a clog in my toilet.  I appreciated his timeliness and reasonable, clear pricing.

I am trustee for my sister's modest trust.  She is itellectualy disabled and recently experienced a clog in her plumbing lines in her Camarillo mobile home.  I live more than 1000 miles away from her and on the day this happened I could not 'vet' anyone to come out to take care of the problem.  Somehow she wound up calling a quack roto rooter company who wanted $500+ to pull a toilet & camera to assess the problem (a clog).  They wanted $3200 - yes that's 32 $100 dollar bills to correct the problem.  Through a friend, I was encouraged to call Highsmith & Daughters for a second opinion.  Matthew corrected her problem for under $200.  He did suggest a few upgrades for her clean-out situation which we will proceed with soon.  What a blessing to have such an honorable man to call on.  Do not even hesitate to call him if you have a problem.  Side note - arrived exactly when he said he would.  Thank you so much Matthew - and your wonderful scheduler, Phyllis.

As a new homeowner, it is very difficult to find folks you can trust. Well, after Luis' treatment and attentiveness, he will be the person I will call for all my plumbing issues. He was straight forward, to the point, and quick. If you need a plumber, Luis is your guy!

Just fine gentleman showed up at my house worked his tail off trying to figure out where the problem was after four hours he figured it out and now we are digging up the backyard after he put the camera down in and your problem is where the sewers in the back all I can say is he's got a great attitude he's a great guy he's got great work ethic and the people that he's brought over to help him I've been over and above five stars I ever have any more problems I definitely will be calling
