We had a new gas line installed from the gas meter to the house. The bid was reasonable and the scheduling worked out for us. Originally, the job was bid for one day, but it actually took two. I think they underestimated how long it would take to hand dig the trench.

We are very happy with the finished job and are thrilled to have our hot water and heat back! They tidied the work area up nicely and there were no hidden charges.

Definitely will consider using these guys again!

I had a moderately urgent need for fixing a toilet that was a little above my beginner expertise (it involved taking apart the tank). APM were quick to confirm an early opening in their schedule to inspect the situation.

APM sent Mike to take a look. He gave a fair quote and did a standard repair on my toilet issue in less than an hour. He also noted some related toilet issues to be aware of in the future.

A few days later, I had trouble with the same toilet again. I did not know whether the issue was related to the previous repair, but I did not want to mess with it in fear that I might make things worse.

APM arranged an appointment the next day. Mike and another guy arrived and took a look. They told me it was an average clog that I could do myself. So saving myself money, I did. They gave me some helpful knowledge and tips as to why my toilet had these particular issues. Having no troubles, they quickly went on their way to their next job.

We had some Thanksgiving drama with clogged bathrooms, Henry responded to Quote request within 15 minutes, we discussed what the  potential issue was and he committed to come out with a few hours (after finishing another service call). ***Reminder*** This was Thanksgiving day!!!

He came out, the service took a few hours but he and his son were professional, thorough, clean and very friendly.  A big Thank You to him for committing to our family and finishing the job before he joined his family late for holiday dinner.

These guys are the absolute best!!  Kesh is super responsive, helpful and knowledgeable.  He's extremely honest as well!  I've had a lot of trouble finding a dependable plumber in West LA - between overpricing and being strung along for hours - I just about gave up! But then I found VJ's and I'm set! No need to look for anyone else.  They are fantastic.

NexGen Air is excellent for HVAC issues!!!! Their scheduling was professional and easy, they sent someone out first thing they could and confirmed with texts and phone calls. They were even... early!!!!! Something that was unexpected and very welcome when your AC isn't working. Their professional, Brandon, was courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable. He showed pictures, explained the problem and solutions, and offered services to fix. I felt I had the knowledge needed to make a smart choice... and that there was a choice and that I didn't need a second opinion. Lastly and most unexpectedly, Brandon was excellent at follow up. We have a problem that has frequently happened and new hvac people come every other year. However Brandon and Nexgen showed they really cared and came back a few days after the job was done to ensure everything was working exactly as planned.

Finally, they are very easy to reach (our tech was running early and wanted to confirm it was ok by having me call him back-- the company answered and was responsive!) and lastly, they have emailed receipts with pictures.  I'm really impressed with this company and will use them for my maintenance and any time we have an HVAC issue. Highly recommend!!!

They came at the exact time they said they would. Both guys were kind and informative. They fixed my toilet in no time and detected a leak outside the home. They were even nice to my little doggie that wanted to see what was going on. I highly recommend them.

I first had an encounter with SJ plumbing two years ago. During escrow Tim came over to do a plumbing assessment for me and was able to provide honest feedback on the condition of the plumbing system. Two years later today, the original 15y/o water heater tank finally gave up. I was able to get a hold of John and he sent over Tim and Ernesto. They did an amazing job taking out and installing the new system. They laid out tarp and made sure to clean up after they were done. As much as I like working with them, I do hope I won't need them any time soon. But if Ido, I will definitely give SJ Plumbing a call for all of my plumbing needs.

Teo is the person to call for general handyman work. He's responsive, reasonable and prompt and makes sure the job gets done .  Excellent service!

Michael is awesome. I needed a plumber to do some work on my rental property in LA (replace a corroded faucet and unclog a bathtub drain). After two other plumbers gave me the run-around, Michael came out the next morning at 8 am and did everything he promised and stuck to his estimate. He called me immediately after the work was done and took my credit card over the phone, sent me a receipt electronically, and then emailed me a copy of the invoice. I wish every company I worked with was this great. Thanks Michael!

Simple problem, quick solution! My kitchen sink was leaking due to a cracked garbage disposal. After a quick phone call to set up the consult, Alex easily identified the problem and was able to swap out the parts in the first visit since I had a replacement in hand. Also explained what he was doing as he worked, which was very helpful.

My tub faucet stems broke and I had a plumbing emergency.  Warren came to help me immediately and I was forever grateful for his responsiveness .  Please don't hesitate to call Warren.  He's the best!

Home Depot fridge installers said they wouldn't touch our copper line to install the icemaker. Luckily Bryan from Rave would! Showed up in 10 minutes and was out in less than 30. Now drinking filtered water from my new fridge. Thank you Bryan!!

Professional and honest! Chris was excellent, he came out and unstuck our garbage disposal, checked our faucets and was so helpful.  We will be purchasing new faucets and giving our business to A-1 from now on!

Jorge came out to our residence for a leak behind our washer within 2.5 hours of us calling. He was on time, friendly, flexible and cleaned up after himself after the job was complete. Rates were very fair. We'll definitely be using Tony's again in the future.

What a gentleman and such an honest and wonderful guy.  He first told me over the phone how to try to fix my broken garbage disposal to save myself money!!  That worked but since my disposal is so old it sounded like it would crap out again any second.  He came out immediately and I was very impressed by how efficient, clean and a genuinely great guy he is.  I would give 10 stars if I could.  Would highly recommend his services to anyone and will definitely be calling him in the future.  I've owned my condo for over 8 years and have had plumbing issues in the past.  I've always just google searched and used whomever called me back first.  Cody called me back first today and told me he could come immediately, ... We woke this morning to find our Gas was not working and called around to a few places but then found LR Services -- after a very brief phone call, Owen had me go through a quick check list of what might be wrong, and then he walked me through exactly what to do.

He was extremely helpful and offered to come out immediately but in the end he was able to solve the problem over the phone! When we tried to pay him, he said it wasn't necessary, that it was an easy fix that he would be happy to help anyone with -- so LR is kind of like a good neighbor and we are incredibly grateful.

Such great integrity and good, honest business!
