Best Plumbing Services in California
I recently used MC Tile & Shower Pan for some tile work in my bathroom and kitchen back splash. The owner Mark was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. He was always available to jump on the phone or a quick text if I had any questions. His work was very thorough and precise. The tiles I selected were quite intricate, but Mark did an excellent job. He's also very affordable. I will be calling Mark again for some more work in the near future. Highly recommend!

Last night I received an urgent call from my tenants whose toilet had broken at 7:00 p.m. I called Gateway and Daniel said he'd be over to fix it in 30 MINUTES! Now THAT'S what I call prompt service. I will certainly keep Daniel as my go-to man for plumbing related issues. I would highly recommend Gateway to everyone.

I called on a Sunday to set up an appt to fix a sink with a jammed sink plug. Anver tried to help me on the phone first. But when he realized he'd have to come, he came right over to my surprise. Being a Sunday, it was $120, but I was happy to have it unexpectedly taken care of right away! One less headache to deal with during the week!

Willy's service was efficient, affordable, and friendly! I called in for help with hooking up my gas grill to the gas line with a turn off and turn on valve. I had another quote from a company with far more reviews than Willy's but it was so expensive and also the valve was going to be very bulky, which I didn't want. Willy's offered and fulfilled the service for a reasonable price (way below the other offering). The plumber even helped take a look at a somewhat clogged shower head in my master restroom as well for no extra fee. I recommend Willy's and will request their help with any other plumbing type projects.

I have an AC leaking water. I contacted NexGen. They gave me a quick appointment. Ryan and his coworker (I don't have his name at the moment) did a great job explaining what they were doing and what to expect. They gave me estimates of what they do. I liked the service and I highly recommend!

When I flush the toilet, dirty water came up through the tub. It was clogged. Another plumber came and ran a snake earlier today but wasn't successful. I called Jose who answered the phone immediately. He was upfront with prices and the price was very reasonable. He showed up at the house within 40 mins. He had to run 100 ft snake and it took him multiple times because the pipe was very clogged. I'm thankful he didn't give up. He was able to clear the clog (lots of things came out on the snake), made sure water was draining, put back the toilet and sealed the base. He was very helpful and also gave recommendations for the future. Thank you Jose!!! You're the best and saved the day!!! Will definitely be recommending him to family and friends that need plumbing work in the future. If you need help with plumbing, call Jose. He has the right tools to fix the issue and he was very honest with the price.

We noticed the hallway carpet was wet, suspected a pipe leak in our walls and my husband found Local Service Pro to come out for the fix last Friday. Alex came out, put two holes in our downstairs ceiling, two holes in our upstairs hallway, couldn't find the leak, scheduled to come back on Monday and left for the day. We lived with the leak all weekend.
On Monday, he showed up with another guy, put another hole in the bathroom wall, looked up and down. Said the toilet was the culprit, detached the toilet, announced the mystery was solved, charged us $800 and left. Guess what? The toilet wasn't the source of the leak! We had another group come out who found the source of the leak for only $250 and didn't put any additional holes in our walls, they used a moisture meter. So we are out $800, have multiple holes in our dry wall in multiple parts of our house and a detached toilet, all thanks to Local Service Pro. We literally paid them $800 to make our situation even worse. Now they're not returning our messages to request they at least fix the toilet they detached so we can at least have a functioning toilet.
I'm a mom with two small children and to say I'm mad that these people came in, didn't solve the problem and took $800 from me after making the problem even worse is an understatement. I don't ever recommend doing business with Local Service Pro.

If you read the negative reviews, as this will be, there is a clear pattern. You have a minor issue (clog, leaky pipe, etc) Marco and SMP&H are helpful, efficient, and you think, Awesome, this will be done with a minimum of hassle. However, when he gets there he will either try to up-sell you on a repair vastly more expensive or charge an insane amount for a minor part. You know how you take your car in for repairs and you aren't quite sure if you are getting a bad deal because you don't know for sure if the mechanic is telling you the truth? This is worse. If you say no to the charges or up-sell, the efficiency and helpfulness vanish and he becomes aggressive and insistent - and might not actually do the repair.
We called for a clog of one toilet and an evaluation of a wobbly toilet. After the $99 house call fee, the one toilet flushed slowly, and he actually broke our wobbly toilet removing a bolt and making it unusable - we were left over the weekend without a working toilet in the house. Marco was insistent that the wobbly toilet was cheap and he could replace for $350 + $99 house call - which we declined. He was also insistent that the clog was in the main drainage system even though the bathtubs, sinks, dishwasher and other toilet were draining just fine, and that would cost ~$600 for them to bring the equipment to open up the pipes in the backyard (we did need that done a year ago - but you know that because nothing drains well - this time, just the one toilet - the toilet was clogged, not the pipes). We called 4 hours after Marco left the first time because the toilet clogged the first time it was used. 72 hours later, they did come back to re-snake the one toilet and demanded $75 in cash, all the time insisting the nanny (who was out of the house), my child (who was in preschool the entire time) and my cleaning lady (who didn't work that day) must have re-clogged it. Personally, I think he left our one toilet broken and the other partially unclogged so we need emergency repair of both toilets over the weekend. We went out of town and hired another plumber who replaced the wobbly toilet and left both bathroom floors cleaner than when Marco had been there. Yes - did I mention, Marco and his 2 other guys (3 people, 1 clog - a proper business cannot bring that much help to a simple service call and still stay in business if they aren't making a killing on the margins) left the toilets and floors disgusting, bolts and rust everywhere, dripping toilet water on the floor. At the same time he was demanding more money for the repair that wasn't actually repaired, he kept insisting we should have him replace the toilet and do the external work on the drains. So $175 for him to snake 1 toilet.
So, if you want a pleasant experience - you are going to pay way more than any reasonable person should and likely get a whole lot of work done that you don't actually need. Or, save yourself (a lot of) money and call someone else.

I am a skeptic about work people because I have been 'taken' too many times. I have had quotes, for the same plumbing issue, that ranged from $75 to lady, you're in trouble but we can bail you out for $1,200.Luckily a friend gave me the Drains Unlimited phone number. Gaby Korkis and the men who work for him are the only plumbers I would ever call. They are prompt, polite, remove their shoes in the house without being asked, clean up when they are done and the fee is always reasonable. Besides all of this, Gaby's wife does the appointments during the week and the billing. She is truly professional and VERY nice. My entire family counts on Drains Unlimited and they never let us down. Trust me, call them and you will know that everything I have written is true.

Ruben and his team at Repipe Expert are some of the most professional tradesmen that I have worked with. My previous plumber had a job that was running over a week late and I called Ruben. He was able to provide an estimate the same day and was able to squeeze me into his very busy schedule the very next week! I cannot express how grateful I was for his flexibility. His work was very done professionally and timely. Ruben was outstanding at communicating and walking me through all of the work he was doing. He also help educate me in possible issues that may arise in the future. I had many concerns about repiping, but after my experience can say that you will be in good hands with Ruben and his team. Fear not and give Ruben a call. I have all ready referred him to two of my friends and family. Thanks again Ruben!
