Had a clogged garbage disposal on a Sunday afternoon.   Went to Yelp and found JB plumbing.   Jose was over within two hours.  Super nice guy.  My fear is that I was going to need a new garbage disposal or at least try to be sold one.  Jose took a look and to my fortune he was honest enough to let me know that I didn't need one.  Problem solved and now I have a plumber I can trust and recommend.

We have had good & great experiences with Palisades plumbing they are not the least expensive but if You are lucky enough (or request) Joe Green to work on plumbing concerns you will get the best.  Joe is excellent at diagnosing a problem thoroughly explaining and fixing it so that you do not require follow-up.  He's extremely trustworthy, he does not over-sell to increase cost and is safe to leave to complete his work without supervision.  Finally, he leaves the area he works on neat and cleaner then prior to any plumbing issue.  I highly recommend Joe Green & Palisades Plumbing.

I had an emergency situation where one of the pipes connected to my water main had burst. John was able to come out that same day just a few hours later and had my water line repaired in a jiffy. I was worried that it would cost me an arm and a leg but John was honest about his rates and did the work for a very fair price. A total lifesaver!

I needed to snake my sewer drain that was clogged and Steve was able to take care of the issue with no problem. Upon first call, he greeted respectfully and provided outstanding customer service. As the situation was an emergency, he arrived promptly and took care of the situation with no further complications. Thank you Steve! I will do business with you again brother!

Ray is awesome!  He replaced the parts on my leaking toilet in no time flat, and for a great price!  He is super-skilled, friendly, reliable, and very personable.  I am going to use his company for all of my plumbing issues in the future!

Last night, I thought I needed a new water heater because it was leaking and had no hot water.  This morning Andy determined that my water heater was OK but it had shut off from flooding.  He was able to find the leak, clean out our sewer line, and reset the water heater.  He explains everything before he does it.  The fee was reasonable and worth the high quality of professional service provided.  Since our past plumber retired, Andy is now our family plumber.

Luigi top notch service and support , my heater went down in the front house and Luigi came to the rescue and was very happy with the service and repair received

He fixed the heater , replaced the thermostat and even cleaned out the heater and made the house nice and warm again

Our home was built in 1949, and added onto through the 70's and into early 80's, and let's just say the plumbing underneath is straight-up crazy! Pipes that lead to nowhere, capped off, hanging loosely from hooks, sometimes tied up with old telephone wires... just terrible. So while not surprised that we had a leak blasting up into the floorboards of our kids room, we really didn't know who to turn to! Our previous plumbing experiences had been mediocre at best.

AND THEN WE CALLED PAPAS PLUMBING! First off, they answered the phone quickly. Shout out to Pricilla who is literally queen of all things water related... is she a water sign? Maybe an Aquarious like my mother? I don't know, but she assured us all would be fine and dispatched the orange van... Danny and José arrive! Consummate professionals, they were prompt, polite, and wildly knowledgable about the type-M copper that was plumbed all around the Pasadena area in the 80s, and showed us dozens of other areas along the piping that were about the burst. We were just hours from leaving the house for the day, so their timelines saved us major flood damage!

Long story short, we hired Papas, in one afternoon a crew re-piped all our crap copper with PEX and even managed all the nuances of our old house (like how hot/cold switched in laundry room .)

To Danny, José, Nico, Nico Junior, and all the names that I missed, and especially la Reigna Pricilla, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I would recommend your services to anyone who needs expert plumbers and fast. They literally saved our Christmas, and saved us tens of thousands of dollars in flood damage.

Tomas fixed the bar in my closet and now it holds all my clothing. He did a great job. He was nice, worked neatly and his pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend him and will use him again.

Our water heater leaked and Santos installed the new one.
He was very responsive through yelp messaging and gave a good price. He was upfront about the fees and explained the fees in detail. (which is good)

I turned to Sherlock Leak Detection after a few mishaps with the plumbers my home warranty company sent out, who are not actually leak detectors but won't mind charging the customer  for it.  I read reviews on Yelp and two independent plumbers referred me to him.  Ron is a professional.  He is punctual and is very good at what he does.  He brought in special equipment to listen to the water.  He marked the location of the leak.  Cost was $295.  My whole family room didn't have to be torn a part to fix the leak thanks to him.  Going through an in slab leak is no fun and very stressful, so finding a qualified person to do the job is important.  I highly recommend him.  He also answered my phone calls and emails even after the job was done when I needed additional advice.

Amazing same day service! Highly recommend. They were very thorough and made sure our drain was cleared from both directions. We had water coming out of the bottom of our toilet every time we turned any water source on. Fixed the problem and reinstalled the toilet in a timely manner. Don is very experienced and very knowledgeable and it shows. Thank you again.

This is really a zero star review masquerading as a one bc of Yelp's requirements. Extremely bizarre experience. Easily the worst customer service I've ever gotten calling around. Asked if someone could come take a look at a leak. Was told by a very flustered sounding rep that no one was available until July 5. Understanding that I was calling the day before a holiday, I said that was completely fine. Then the rep claimed I wasn't in Sunset West's service area even though I'm in West LA / Palms / Mar Vista, almost exactly right where the 10 and the 405 meet, and directly in the middle of where they claim their service areas are online. She just kept saying yeah, I don't know why, but you're not in our service area. I really got the sense that she was hoping I would be dissuaded by the fact that no one was available for 2 days, and then resorted to lying about my not being in Sunset West's service area when that didn't do the trick. I rang this place bc I saw on here that my friend had used them and given them a glowing review a couple of years back, but evidently things have gone downhill since then. That or they are so successful they don't want any new business from Yelpers. If the latter, they should just come out and say so instead of wasting people's time. If you sort the reviews by date instead of just accepting Yelp's sort like I did, and also look at the questions asked, you'll see that I'm not the first person to get the run around from this business in recent months.

Called them since our sink was leaking.  Found out it was the gasket.  Daniel called back; he was very responsive, professional.  The work was done and very happy with it, price reasonable, and would definitely call again for any future plumbing problems.

Needed help with my plumbing issue and the company impressively  kept in touch with me when they were going to arrive and what the issue was.

Despite a  busy day, the staff still came to me after their hours and helped my troubles with their reasonable prices.

I appreciate their professionalism and the respect they gave me for my problems. I would refer to them again for any future problems
