Jose at JB has been our plumbing partner for several years now.  I say partner because he has helped us work through several plumbing problems in our older properties.  JB is VERY reliable , helpful,  fair and can come to our aid quickly when emergencies arise.  Prices are reasonable and the results are perfect. He is a problem solver and gives solutions that are workable and reality based.  We trust him and highly recommend JB plumbing.

This is a great company I would highly recommend them. They came out when they said they were going to be there. They finished the job on time and everything works great! It was a pleasure having very friendly service. :)

Don't waste your time with this guy . Terrible service an communication. He was no call , no show . Once I finally got in touch with him he tells me he forgot !!! As I sat there an wait for a plumber after a confirmed appointment, his answer was I forgot !! Wow . He would not compensate me at all . Terrible terrible customer service . Wish I could give no stars

Luis!!! He is my go to guy for all my plumbing needs. I have had issues with other pulmbers in the past who say they know what they are doing, but leave a Mickey Mouse job done instead. Luis communicates will (Spanish and English), uses an online system to send invioces, appt reminders, and payment (if needed). Luis installed a new water heater in my home on one job and also redid my shower valve in another job. What impressed me most about Luis is his work ethic. I recently have a plug in my drain pipe in a new home I moved into and Luis came out IN THE RAIN to take a look and fix it. Other plummbers wouldn't even come out to take a look, but my guy Luis is a good honest guy. I highly recommend him for all your plumbing needs. It is hard to find someone who will not overcharge you or rip you off. Luis is Honest and relaible. I promise you can find someone else on the street to do you the job cheaper, with cheap parts and with Mickey Mouse work. However, if you want honest and quality work at a resonable price. Luis is the guy to go with.

Shellback were great. Replaced our hot water heater and did a thorough job. They even ran a leak pipe out from my garage, which was no small job. Awesome work. Very satisfied. We will use them for all plumbing needs as they come up.

Andy was extremely quick at responding and was able to get out to our tenant's location to fix up a clogged pipe. No frills and upselling and was cheaper than other places. Other places we reached out to required us to schedule a visit before they could get as a quote. Thank you!

Amazing service! I called Luigi on a Sunday & he was there within an hour. He helped fix an a/c issue and even came back later when things still weren't working quite right.

Luigi is super thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again and highly recommend him!

Serge did a sewerline camera inspection when we were in escrow, found a crack in the main line and was able to service and replace the portion of the pipe on the spot which made the process seamless for everyone involved.  He is a true professional, very knowledgeable and extremely dependable.  I highly recommend Serge and Papa's Plumbing to anyone who has any type of plumbing needs!

Tomas did an excellent job fixing a water damaged wall and installing a new sink and toilet. He works hard and takes his time to do the job right. Will definitely use him again in the future.

I didn't choose this company my management company chose this business. With that being said I would give them 3 out of 10 for services and customer service or lack there of.

Made an appointment for June 10 from 2-3pm and waited until 2:49 to call to see what was going on. The person Natalie Santos stated she didn't know why they hadn't gotten to my house and she would find out and call me back. When she calls back a few mins later she stated that the person van broke down and we can reschedule for tomorrow morning at 8am. After being inconvenienced I still agree to them coming out tomorrow to resolve the issue with my sink. The guy comes the next day at 8am as scheduled. He never stated his name but he looked over what needed to be done, left out to get his tools to complete the job. Once he was done he left without stating what the issue was but that the job was finished. He ask his what/why the sink was stopping up.

After he finished explaining I went back to the bathroom to make sure the sink was working properly and found that this guy had made a complete mess of my bathroom along with leaving water/hair/ whatever was in the drain all over the items in the bottom of the sink. Highly upset that I have damaged items that have to be thrown away and water all over everything including the toilet.

Nasty and careless worker !!! I would NEVER have chosen this company on my own. I spoke with Natalie Davila about the mess the worker left me to clean up and she tell me ITS JUST WATER as if water doesn't cause damage to stuff. Very clueless!!  Also spoke with the owner Santos Davila and he brushed it off like it was my fault his work was careless and nasty worker.

These guys are amazing. They showed up within a few hours to repair the water valve that hooks up to my washer. On a Saturday nonetheless. They are professional, do great work, and at a fair price. Will be calling them again for plumbing work in the future.

Very professional service and dedicated to determining the cause of the leak. Love that they show up with a plumber who then can fix the leak immediately. They also recommended a great restoration company. I wish my insurance company would move as fast as Sherlock leak detection, the plumber and the restoration company. The whole process started November 23 and it's still not finished to this day on December 14. Highly recommend Sherlock leak detection services!

Contacted them to come out and check on a broken shower pipe. Came out next day, they were very nice and professional and got the job done quickly. Will definitely use them again.

I've used Sunset West a couple times, but that was when Jim, the owner was out doing the calls.  Last week Sunset West no-showed an appointment.  They had given me a two-hour window, and when it was past the window time period, I called them, but no one picked up.  I left a message, and now, a week later, they have still not called me.  I've called a few times since, but no one picks up.  I think it is possible that 1) they have gone out of business? 2) Jim, the owner sold the business?  So odd to just leave a repeat-client high and dry, no call, no communication - no care.  I keep thinking that their phone message will be changed to let people know that they have a family emergency or something has happened, but the message doesn't change.  I thought I had experienced it all with contractors, but I guess their world will continue to surprise me.

We discovered a leak in our water heater and were about to leave on a vacation.  We called Pitman Plumbing and Dale was at our home in a flash.
He replaced the water heater without a hitch and within two and a half hours we had a new water heater and plenty of hot water. We were able top leave on our vacation without worry!

Thank you for proving my point! First let me say that the job and the price charged speaks for itself. Next, you contacted me via another platform and I have reviewed you on that platform as well, no where else.
1) You admit that I was quoted and charged for travel time to get parts, which never happened. The bathroom job was a straight forward stem valve replacement. Your plumber certainly knew that he already had the parts and didn't need to inflate the price to include going out for them. You seem to think that if you can fool clients into agreeing to your price that price gouging is okay.
2) Do the math. The charge and the time spent equal the hourly rate charged.
3) Of course you were nice. You duped us into overpaying you. I contacted you about this issue before reviewing, but you did not to respond me. That's how caring and professional your business is. In addition, just look at the invoice we were given (after we paid). There's no breakdown of parts and labor. How professional is that?
4) I'm glad that you've mentioned that you also tried to charge us a 3.5% credit card fee on top of your inflated price.

Original Review:
We trusted Michel and his business A-1 Apex Plumbing and got severely over charged. I connected with Michel through the app NextDoor. Michel lives in my general neighborhood. Long story short, they came out for two separate issues; to replace 2 angle stops in the kitchen (charged us $55.00 ea) and to replace 2 stems (leaky shower faucet) in the the bathroom (charged us $175.00 ea.), for a total of $460.00. When I asked the plumber why the bathroom price was so much higher than the kitchen, he told me it was going to take a long time to fix and that he might have to go out for parts. So, I trusted them, because Michel is a neighbor, and I agreed. Turns out it only took him 20 minutes top to replace the 2 stems in the bathroom, and he already had the parts. I looked them up and valve stems cost under $50.00 ea. So, if the parts ran say, $80.00 (that's a generous assumption), the labor charge was $270.00 for 20 minutes of work, or $540.00 an hr. MY BAD for agreeing. MY BAD for wanting to support a neighbor. MY BAD for trusting a neighbor.
