Best company !! These are my go to guys whenever have a clogged drain or plumbing issue! Best prices around and such a great company that doesn't try to rip you off!! Highly recommend these guys to everyone !

I've lived in the Palisades for the last 35 years and have used Palisades Plumbing many times with good results.  We are renting a place in the Highlands while our home is remodeled and the garbage disposal here jammed up.  I call PP to make an appointment and the guy doesn't show up.  I leave a message on the machine and when they call me back they have me call the plumber to see where he is.  I thought this was strange to begin with.  I call the guy, who is already about an hour late, and he says he can be there in about 40 mins, 'that's just how it is' or I can wait till Monday.  He asks how old the unit is and I say I don't know, I'm renting the place.  He goes, oh, if you're a renter will you be able to pay me?  I say of course.  He calls me back 20 mins later and says, my boss told me since you are a renter you will have to pay me upfront.  I said, well how else would I pay you?  He says it might be expensive, maybe $400 or $500, you can pay that much?  I go are you kidding me right now?  Why is this such a pain to get you here?  He says you know what man, F**k you and hangs up on me.  Of course, no one picking up at the office at this point and its the weekend so I'm left with a jammed kitchen sink my family can't use unless I pay some other plumber a weekend rate. This was one of the most bizarre and infuriating experiences I've had.  Obviously will never use these guys again which is a bummer as I like using local people for work.
Moral of the story is, these guys can be good, just be careful who they try to send out to you.

We've used Steve a few times now, at our condo over the past few years. He fixed a leaking pipe last year, and when we bought our new house last month, we used him for inspection, and to help with fixes after moving in. Our house's water heater was new but for some reason the previous owners didn't install it to code. Steve came in and reinstalled everything. He even took the time to talk me through everything he did, what each part does, etc. His prices are super reasonable, and he's honest & reliable. We'll definitely be using him again!

Ray is a true professional.  Arrives on time and his fees are reasonable.  He is friendly and reliable.  I won't use anyone else.

Luis provided excellent service! I originally had Ser Plumbing out to our home before we moved in to have the gas line cut and capped in the kitchen. Then shortly after we moved in, we had an unexpected block with out plumbing. I contacted Luis that night, and he came out the next day to fix it! He gave us advice on the system (which wasn't installed correctly) and suggested ways to fix things ourselves in the future. As new homeowners, we appreciate the knowledge and understanding of Ser Plumbing. We will definitely be return customers.

Our shower was leaking from behind the drywall, so I expected the worst. Greg was on time and took the time to explain his plan once he accessed the situation. As it turned out, he was correct and was able to access and replace the failed pipe without having to cut into our drywall. In addition, he offered to send a water damage technician free of charge to determine if we had a potential mold issue within the walls. Josh from PAC Fleet Water Damage Solutions (part of Shellback) was here in about an hour.  We have peace of mind knowing that we are ok on that front too. Like Greg, he was also friendly and professional.

We will be calling Shellback Plumbing for any future plumbing issues without a doubt!

Andy fixed our clogged main sewer line in no time at a reasonable price. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient-- highly recommend their service.

Our A/C went out today so I called Luigi based on all his good reviews. I got a hold of Luigi right away and we figured out a time in the afternoon for him to come out. He then met me at my house and started diagnosing the problem with meters and what not right away. After a little while he narrowed it down to the capacitor. I know nothing about A/C units but he explained the issue and had the part in his truck and fixed it right then and there. So happy because it was getting hot today and there's a heat wave coming in the next few days!

Serouj is the best.  He was kind enough to come out in the middle of his Sunday to help me out.  He's very knowledgeable and trustworthy.  He dispensed great advise and refused to take my money when I offered to pay for his time.  He's a great guy.  Highly recommended!!

Would absolutely recommend. We had a time sensitive project repairing water damage in some drywall and he exceeded our needs in time, efficiency and quality of his work. His pricing was very affordable.

Allstar Rooter was the only companies, via the messaging quotation process, that was willing to negotiate on pricing, and not just a flat fee other plumbers were quoting just from a few pictures I provided.

After evaluating the actual work firsthand, Santos was able to provide more insight on how the piping layout should be.

He did all that was requested and cleaned up the previous plumbers' work, making it more user-friendly, as well as making it more secure. Great fast work! Easy to work with. IF and When we will need a plumber in the future, we will be calling Santos at ALLSTAR ROOTER first!

Finally a plumber that knows what he is doing and doesn't mind sweating to do it. Robert takes pride in his work, I can tell. It sounds like he is has experience. He is exactly who we were looking for.  We went through 3 plumbers (who say they were plumbers) and 2 handyman, in the last year and they all charged more once they arrived or changed their price saying it was because of this and that (of course I am no fool), did sloppy work, didn't care, nor returned to fix what they didn't actually fix or didn't return to fix something that wasn't there but had caused more issues during their repairs. We needed a REAL plumber with most of his parts in his van and knew exactly what the issue was without trouble shooting the wrong thing and charging us. Most of our issues aren't that simple as the really easy ones are the ones that we can fix ourselves. Attitude was honest, upfront, professional, with a twang of coolness. And the most important thing is that he actually listens to you! License, bonded and insured- Yes.

I had an issue at my home where my insurance adjuster wanted me to check for a slab leak.  So I went to Yelp to look for a company and Sherlock Leak Detection had top reviews.  The technician that came out was named Amit.  Amit is a very nice and personable guy.  He explained the whole leak detection process as he went through it which I thought was very professional. Amit was able to determine there was not a slab leak and substantiate the findings of the restoration company that the water had traveled from another location.  I would definitely use Sherlock Leak Detection again.  I highly recommend this company.

Mr DeVinney came within an hour of me contacting him and was incredibly efficient. They fixed my issue within an hour, charged me what they quoted and did all this in a safe manner.  They were courteous and respectful and worked within my timeline as I was working from home. I highly recommend it.

These guys are often hard to reach and they're not usually fast on the callback, but they DO VERY GOOD WORK.  Back when owner Jimmy Papik worked for his late father, he came to our house once and quickly solved the problem: water was coming out through a wall.  He found it and fixed it.  Today, he employs a plumber named Jay who has the mind of an engineer: On two consecutive days I observed Jay figuring out solutions to a pair of non-routine plumbing issues.

Dale is the best.  3rd generation plumber with incredible knowledge.  He is also very friendly and extremely trustworthy.  And my wife appreciates that he is very clean.  When he had to go under the house through the bedroom he laid out drop cloths, put on a special suit, and even vacuumed up after himself.

I hired A1 Apex Plumbing for a complete repipe of all water lines and also ran new gas lines for pool, fire pit, and barbecue station. They are professional, prompt, quick and precise. Most importantly honest and fair. Will recommend and use this company for all future needs.
