Our old water heater stopped working and Armando quickly responded to our needs, and replaced our water heater promptly and successfully. They dealt with the old water heater company as well to figure out whether it was under warranty. Will be using them again for our next plumbing needs.

I paid $130 for a new flapper for my toilet.  $7 dollar part ( but let's say it cost $12) that took 6 minutes to put in.  The gentleman was nice enough and seemed like a guy who would be trustworthy and knowledgeable, but he wasn't versed in the work I needed outside by the pool and couldn't get out of my house fast enough!!  But was more than happy to come back and had me a bill for $130.  I've used Palisades Plumbing before many years ago... I would definitely try someone else first unless money is NO object...then I think they be fine.

Disclaimer: I waited for the entire work to be done, giving John, the benefit of the doubt, before posting a review.

We removed 70% of my bathroom sink faucet and had the remaining 30% left when we called John's Plumbing to help finish the job.  We weren't able to remove one of the valves so I needed help. We had purchased the new faucet from OSH. When we called John he came with his father to finish the job. They came promptly, earlier than the time frame he had quoted. On the phone he quoted me 100-$200.

He installed the faucet, charged $260 and left. The justification was that $200 was for his labor and $60 for the additional parts he used. Mind you I had already purchased the plumber's putty, the water lines, and valves. The valves turned out to be the incorrect size so he used his own (those were some expensive $60 valves compared to the store bought ones I had). Don't forget I had also removed most of the faucet, saving him some time on the labor. As for the putty, he only used a quarter size.

Before they left, as I waited for John to write up the invoice I listened to his father give me a nice little lecture on society's morals and how people will try to gain from others instead of trying to help one another.  John said to contact him if there are any issues and even put on the invoice that his work is good for 1 year!

The reason for changing our bathroom faucet in the first place was because of the leaks from the valves. I came back inside to check on their work again and noticed they took my original faucet without even asking! It wasn't even an hour later I checked again and noticed that now, instead of the valves leaking there was a leak under neath the sink where the waterline connects to the faucet. We called John the next day and asked that he return to fix the new leak.

While on the phone, he gave me excuses as to why there was a leak and that he had noticed it was leaking before he left. Why didn't you tell us this? Instead he just left and said that we'll notice water seeping out from under the pedestal because of the extra water in the pipes. He dwelling on the manufacturer, it being a defective faucet, lower quality faucet and in his own words he couldn't do anything about the leak. Reluctantly he agreed to stop by Monday morning to see what he could do.

He stopped by Monday morning, again with his father. His father started lecturing about the quality of manufacturers, high end vs. low end products and how China made items are not the best in quality. John and his father both agreed that they did not recognize the brand of the faucet I had purchased. This is not appropriate customer service. You do not insult what a customer can afford and you definitely do not lecture your customer. I understood what they were saying about quality of products, but my concern is and was why would I be replacing a problem with a problem? If he noticed the product was defective why not tell your customer this as soon as you notice the issue? I would have gladly returned and replaced a broken or defective product!

When they finished checking and fixing the waterline leak, we checked their work again. He fixed the one waterline leak but now the side that didn't have an issue was now leaking. They again mentioned the manufacturer's defect. His father asked in a condescending tone, how difficult it would be to change the faucet. We advised John that it was not appropriate for them to take our original faucet, not offer a refund for work he was not able to appropriately complete and completely inappropriate to lecture customers about morals as if we had asked for free work! We asked them to leave and thanked them for their work. I give him 3 stars for trying...customer service needs work and would recommend not shying from speaking with your customers about issues that you observe as you are doing the work.

I contacted Clear Pipe Plumbing and Rooter and got an immediate quote from Steve to snake two drains in my house. My husband and I were able to set up an appointment right away.

Steve was on time, friendly, and did a very good job. He was able to answer all of our questions and gave us some good information on what to do with our plumbing needs for next time. I will definitely reach out again, next time I need something fixed in my house.

Ray and his team are great. I've used them now for a couple of jobs. First to replace a broken shower cartridge and now to run a gas line for an outdoor BBQ pit. Best experience I've had with a plumbing group in Los Angeles, bar none. Would highly recommend for anything plumbing related on your home.

Great customer service all around . I had an issue with my washer valves ,  I ended up messaging him with my concern an Jose responded right away with an estimate options an came the next day to replace both my water valves. Very satisfied customer.

I called 2 minutes before they closed at 9PM on a Tuesday because a pipe exploded in my kitchen.  All the other scumbag 24 hour plumbing services  (I called three others) flat out said they wouldn't come to my house, despite advertising as 24 hours (scumbags).

Shellback came within 20 minutes, was helpful in explaining what he was doing and was nice!
He also took his time and didn't charge for the late night call.

A head above the other scumbag sleeze-ball plumbers lurking out there.

I'll only call him for all future plumbing needs.

Some plumbers provide good service and then forget about you after the initial service. Andy from Peter Lai Plumbing does not. He promptly returned our calls when we had questions long after the service call. I highly recommend for professionalism, knowledge and promptness.

Just as it was getting dark on a Friday night our HVAC suddenly stopped pumping cold air and the temperature started climbing. I called Luigi and he agreed to come take a look before he went home even though he was clearly tired from a long day. He was here within an hour and managed to get things back up and running in no time. Really grateful for his kindness and professionalism. Thanks Luigi!

Called with an emergency and they were able to help the same day. Fantastic service!!

Tomas did an excellent job fixing a water damaged wall and installing a new sink and toilet. He works hard and takes his time to do the job right. Will definitely use him again in the future.

I was very pleased with the service from Allstar Rooter. Everything was completed promptly and they quoted me a fair price for the work. Much less than other quotes I received. What else can you ask for? I'll definitely call them next time I need help.

Had some major plumbing issues going on and Robert and his team were quick to address.
He provided a written estimate ($spent 7500+) and answered all my questions.  

I was happy with the prompt response and professional team provided to replace some old clay pipes in 2 units.  

My yard, some concrete and walls had to be broken up to reach pipes.  They put everything back together and it wasn't the best finished work I have seen but the other plumbers that came by would only do the work and I was on my own incurring the expense. It works for now.  

The plumbing, response and workers have been top notch.I will call them again.

Mr DeVinney came within an hour of me contacting him and was incredibly efficient. They fixed my issue within an hour, charged me what they quoted and did all this in a safe manner.  They were courteous and respectful and worked within my timeline as I was working from home. I highly recommend it.

I called on a Saturday morning and reached their answering service.  I told the service that I needed a quote to snake my mainline, and that I urgently needed an appointment for later that day.  I waited two hours, and, hearing nothing, called again.  The answering service assured me that Jim had received my message, and that he would get back to be shortly.  I waited another hour, then called for a third time.  Again I was told that my messages had been forwarded along, and to sit tight.  I never received a return call.  I used another plumber that I found on Yelp, and he was fantastic.  If you want actual help, I would not recommend Sunset West.

These are my new plumbers!  Great work but also responsive and helpful.  All in all happy with a family recommendation, I have made the switch.

My new go-to plumber! My tenants had a problem with the shower - scalding hot water only! I called A-1 late on a Wednesday and they were at the house bright and early the next day to resolve the issue! They thoroughly explained the problem and were super accommodating of my situation, handling from a remote location in Washington. Trustworthy, fast, and reliable!
