Second time using Allstate. Both times received completive pricing, timely completion of service as promised, and courteous employees. Cleared and replaced piping in utility area of garage; and cleared and installed clean-out point to main drain.

I am the fix-it person in my home and am proud of my ability to make it, or fix it...that is, until I blew it.

Enter Ken D. And Chuck, from Master Plumbing who saved the day and taught me a few life lessons about plumbing repair: #1. Know when you are in over your head. # 2. You Tube does not explain everything.  #1 & 3.  Leave the plumbing to the professionals.

I cannot express with words how AMAZING LUIS is, i had a plumbing issue where my tub was not working at all, no water coming out, and he was able to help me resolve it and gave me some great tips that saved me ton of time and money. I even offered to pay him for his help and he said he was honored to save me in a jam. I really appreciate someone who goes the extra mile to help their customers, and LM Plumbing is now my plumber for life!

This review is not for the quality of work but for the initial helpfullness and customer service  / yelp quoting. I called a few times as they don't use Yelp messaging and there was a repeated confusion on the line. They were not abile to provide any closer information on the price so I couod make an appointment except to first say $189 + about $60 for the part, and then just to firmly switch to some wild range of prices from $400 to $815 depending on the type. And all for coming out and just replacing a Kohler shower cartridge (a problem with mixing hot and cold water). It felt like a person on the line didn't have a clue what we were talking about. They didn't even know how the Yelp coupon applies towards the work as well and what Yelp coupons are available.
I hope they will improve this process for some next potential customer. That is the only intention of this review, I don't like giving low ratings.
To say something positive, they mentioned they could come out even the same day.

I contacted Norman, the San Mateo Handyman, when I had a leaky valve behind my toilet.  He quickly diagnosed the problem over the phone, informing me that the source was the toilet angle valve. He put me in touch with Robert, one of his business partners. Robert came by the next day, and replaced the valve with a new flexible valve (much more likely to withstand an earthquake).  He gave me a package deal, also repairing the soft-close toilet seat, which would have cost much more if I replaced the entire toilet seat (the only option the toilet manufacturer offered).

Both Norman and Robert are expert handymen, with decades of experience.  They are both very professional, friendly, and down to earth.  I happily and fully recommend them both.

HAND'S DOWN, Will and his team were the most professional, efficient, cost effective and thorough....my yard looks better now than it did before they got here.
Not only did he quickly repair my sewer lateral (which I discovered late in the project needed to be unexpectedly replaced- yikes-), but he also did sewer clean up from mistakes from the previous plumber hired that didn't pass inspection.
He was my make this problem go away guy, and HE DID IT! We passed inspection within days and I'd been dealing with it for WEEKS.

Thanks to Will and his team...I'm gonna share his info with every relator I know and every home owner who may need to replace the sewer lateral.  SIMPLY THE BEST.

Matt from Smash Plumbing is so reliable, responsive, and trustworthy. He has helped unclog drains, replace faucets, install new piping in the backyard, fixed leaking sinks. He is reasonably priced and does great work. It's very difficult to find a plumber that you can trust - Matt is awesome! I have recommended him to all of my friends and family.

Raheb was willing to come out on a weekend to install our water filter. He also services outside of San Jose. Some plumbers don't work weekends or only service a certain area, so this was a great convenience. Raheb came on time, gave us a quote and got to work. 3.5 hrs later, filter was installed. He even used a snake camera to show me that there was no leak from the new fittings. The whole time he answered my questions and I learned a few things for myself. Overall, pretty good. Recommended!!!

I have have always wanted to support locally owned businesses.  This place shows that they do care about their clients by given me a return phone call in a timely manner even though it's the holiday weekend.  In addition, they do know their stuff vs the other plumbers that I have talked to.

We needed our pipes replaced under the house. They were old and worn out to the point there was an actual 2-inch hole in one of the main lines. Matt & Allen from Savior were at our house for 2 days. They are friendly, professional and experts in the field. They ensured we were not displaced during the process and kept the distractions to a minimum. They explained everything they did and showed us pictures of the before and after. Highly recommend them for all plumbing needs!!!

Joe is absolutely amazing.  I called him with an extreme plumbing emergency in the middle of a Saturday and he dropped everything to come and make sure I was OK.

Not only that but he was able to fix the problem in 20 minutes.  He is absolutely my go to for any plumbing needs and I recommend calling him for anything that may arise with your home.

He's also extremely trustworthy and I am able to have him come do repairs while I am not at the house, which is extremely convenient to me given my schedule.

Excellent job.  He was on time and within budget.  Excellent value and workmanship.  I've used In Demand for two small jobs and will always call them first next time.

I noticed water under our water heater on Saturday morning and Bob's name and number were written on it.  He installed the water heater for the previous owner over 10 years ago.  I called Bob and left a message. He called back within an hour and said he had other jobs lined up for the day but he could come by at 4 PM. He asked me questions over the phone that confirmed that the problem was a leak within the tank. Bob was on time and knew immediately what to do. Within two hours, he had removed the old water heater and installed a new one. There were a couple of drain lines still to install, but it was getting late, so he came back Sunday morning at 10, again on time, to finish the job. Bob is affable, capable, efficient and clearly takes great pride in his work. His dogs are friendly, too. I highly recommend Bob Cowden plumbing.

I own an old home and have experienced my share of plumbing issues and Bart has fixed every one - from replacing an old garbage disposal, unclogging pipes/drains, replacing rusted out pipes and replacing our bathroom vanity and toilet. He works quickly, cleanly and his prices are great. He is extremely responsive, provides clarity on what the issue is and offers different ways to resolve the issue. I have worked with many plumbers over the years and Bart is by very far the best! His work is fabulous and I couldn't recommend him more!

A huge thumbs up for Mark Bissell!

Mark replaced a broken over-the-range microwave with a new range hood and added matching backsplash tile above the range.  I contacted Mark by email and was able to get an estimate from him just by sending some photos and describing what we needed done.  He was very responsive and recommended that while he could find matching tile, it would be cheaper if we went and found the tile ourselves, and suggested some places to look.  We were able to find it ourselves, saving quite a bit.

Mark's installation of the range hood and tile was excellent, and he was very communicative and asked exactly how we wanted it done.  When the hood didn't fit as expected, Mark quickly improvised and was able to cut out the bottom of the cabinet above to make it fit perfectly.  The tile was done meticulously and overall the job was completed very efficiently.  Mark took care to lay down a cover to protect the floor, and used a wooden cover to protect the range top.  He also vacuumed while he was cutting the old tile to prevent dust from collecting and cleaned up the kitchen when he was done.

It turned out he didn't need to cut any of the new tile for installation, so he even gave us a discount on the original estimate.  The job was done so well we just stuck with the original estimate, so Mark disposed of our old microwave for us at no charge instead.

My wife remarked he was the first contractor we've hired who did such a great job.  Mark is honest and straightforward, I highly recommend him for your home repair/remodeling services.
