I recently bought a gas dryer from western appliance (also reviewed), and after they installed it for the second time, the laundry room still smelled like gas.  I don't like to mess around with gas plumbing as a small mistake an lead to utter destruction of your house.  I called Allied, and they had it fixed within a day.  I also had them change the gas line to the hot water heater, since the previous resident used some sub-standard connector.

Price was high, but commensurate with work and professionalism.  I'd use them again for sure.

I live in an upstairs condo, and I recently remodeled my bathrooms which involved, among other things, the replacement of a tub.  Unfortunately, my contractor did not properly tighten the new tub to the waste and overflow line.  So yesterday when I turned on the water in the tub for the first time, a lot of that water ended up in my neighbor's bathroom ceiling, and eventually on their bathroom floor.  Of course, neither my neighbor nor I knew at first what was going on.  We contacted our home owners association to see what they could do, and they told us to call Master Plumbing and Sewer.  Good thing we did.  

The plumber Master Plumbing & Sewer sent was Dean (a military veteran as it turns out).  Dean is a complete pleasure to deal with, and someone who clearly knew what he was doing.  In order to troubleshoot the problem, Dean did have to open up a few holes on my neighbor's bathroom ceiling as well as a hole on the wall next to my bathroom.  But notwithstanding all that demolition, Dean took care to confine all the debris and mess stemming from the wall work to a big drop cloth that he had brought along.  Then, afterwards, he folded up that drop cloth carefully with all the plaster and dry wall bits now wrapped inside, thus leaving the areas he had worked in as clean and tidy as when he first started.  Dean also, without being asked, put on cloth shoe covers when he was inside my condo and my neighbor's.

The leak naturally stopped after Dean had correctly tightened the tub to the waste and overflow line. Then, as part of his quality assurance, Dean filled the tub with water to make sure everything was now draining properly.  Throughout, Dean was very patient in explaining to me the whys and wherefores to what he was doing.  

I am thoroughly impressed by Dean.  He is truly a credit to both his company and his profession.  Dean is without a doubt the one silver lining to this whole water leak episode: we have now found a plumber whom we can unreservedly trust.  Thank you again, Dean!

We discovered our main drain line from the kitchen had broken off at the elbow. I called Luis as his reviews were outstanding. Luis was very polite & honest as he went over what our repair may involve. He went in and accessed the damage, left to get items needed to repair it, returned and completed the job within 15-20 mins. He was quick, clean and friendly the entire time he was in our home. I would recommend him for any of your plumbing & drain needs. Thank you Luis!!

I was referred to Alfred Williams Plumbing by a neighbor, years ago, and have used his services on several occasions -- both to install a water line to a refrigerator ice maker and to rotor-root tree roots that periodically clog up my pipes. I have referred the service to family members, friends and neighbors, and everyone has been most impressed with the speed of service, quality of work, and price. Norman helped me with a few projects in my condo: fixed broken screen door, touched up walls, put up new light fixture and replaced two ventilation fan lights in the bathroom & laundry room.  He is professional and always punctual.  He explains the project and any potential issues upfront, is detail oriented, and always cleans up after the project.
I have a couple more projects this year and plan to ask Norman to help again!

Matt at Smash Plumbing really saved us the other day by investigating a back up we had at our home.  Him and his team arrived quickly and identified the current issue of a break in the old clay sewer line and also showed us a potential issue in another area that we could consider fixing now if we wanted to save time and money.  His rates were comparable to the other quotes we received and he was super professional and trustworthy through the whole process.  Thanks for your help Matt

Love this store! Kathy (the owner) is always smiling and helpful. John knows his stuff! They pack an amazing amount of product into this small floor room. I like to be able to see and touch before I purchase, so appreciate they maintain a floor room. The turn around for ordering is quick (often next day). Could buy online for less but choose to spend the extra so my friends at the Powder Room can continue to provide the great service I enjoy.

I had a shower leak where I was concerned that water might be leaking behind the wall. When I called American Home Plumbing, Raheb answered immediately and said that he could be at my home in 15 minutes. Raheb was fast, pleasant, knowledgeable, and charged a fair price which included a 1 year warranty on the repair

We had a good experience with Mauro's when we needed a fix to get our new washing machine working. They were able to get someone out to give us an estimate within a couple of days, and then were able to complete the job same-day after they gave us a quote. Their pricing was reasonable, and we'll definitely use them again!

Last Tuesday (Oct 30, 2018), I looked under my kitchen sink and found water all over the cabinet floor. My garbage disposal unit was leaking and obviously needed to be replaced. On Wednesday, I called several plumbing companies. One only had an answering machine and never returned my call. The other two said they needed to schedule an on-site estimate before they could give me a quote. One scheduled the visit for that day, while the other couldn't get to me until the following Monday.

When I called Savior Plumbing, they said they did not need to come out for an on-site estimate. They told me their hourly rate, about how long a garbage disposal replacement normally took and how much they would charge for the new disposal unit. I asked if I could buy the unit myself and they said that was OK. But, when they told me how much they would charge for the unit they provided (I had already priced garbage disposal units on the Home Depot web site), it was actually less than the Home Depot price. So, I went with their unit (which, by the way, was a quality product). They even gave me a 2 year warranty on the unit.

The first slot they had available was on Saturday, which worked for me. They asked me if I was interested in having it put in sooner, if a slot opened up and I said I was. Later that day they called and said a slot had opened up on Thursday. However, it was at a time I knew I wouldn't be at home, so I declined. On Thursday afternoon they called again and said one of their plumbers had completed a job early and would I be interested in having him come by and do the job. This worked for me and so the plumber did the job that afternoon.

If you are familiar with plumbing contractors, the idea of having a job completed a day after calling them is almost unthinkable. The person I dealt with on the phone was very friendly and courteous, the plumber who did the job was pleasant, the work was high quality and I am extremely satisfied with it. I would heartily recommend others using Savior Plumbing for their plumbing needs.

I needed a plumber to fix my toilet that kept running and replace some hardware (shutoff valve and supply line).  I found Fast Response Plumbing on Yelp and am completely satisfied with the quality of service, response time and price.  Billy DeCoty and Kevin arrived promptly and handled the repair effectively in a professional and friendly manner.   Highly recommend!

I noticed water under our water heater on Saturday morning and Bob's name and number were written on it.  He installed the water heater for the previous owner over 10 years ago.  I called Bob and left a message. He called back within an hour and said he had other jobs lined up for the day but he could come by at 4 PM. He asked me questions over the phone that confirmed that the problem was a leak within the tank. Bob was on time and knew immediately what to do. Within two hours, he had removed the old water heater and installed a new one. There were a couple of drain lines still to install, but it was getting late, so he came back Sunday morning at 10, again on time, to finish the job. Bob is affable, capable, efficient and clearly takes great pride in his work. His dogs are friendly, too. I highly recommend Bob Cowden plumbing.

Wilver and his team are one of the best companies we worked with.  They're super responsive, quick, and honest about everything upfront.  Wilver explains all the work that needs to be done step by step so there aren't any surprises. We highly recommend them!

Another plumbing company said we needed a huge process that would've cost many thousands of dollars. Bart Niciejewski, owner of Everclear, proposed a possible solution that wouldn't even require us to hire him. If that doesn't work, he proposed a back-up plan - also a 10th of the price of the first guys. How many of us have met a plumber that customer-friendly? He's awesome. We have an old building, so we'll definitely need more plumbing work in the future, and we'll definitely hire Bart.

Delighted to have met Mark. He responded promptly to my email, scheduled an appointment at a super-convenient time, showed up punctually and got to work cheerfully and speedily. Everything was completed to a high standard and at reasonable cost. He was friendly & professional; I won't hesitate to contact him again.
