Please note that this review focuses on the quality of customer service and follow-up of Allstate Plumbing.

When I call for an estimate for both water heater replacement and copper re-piping back in February 2013, the staff at Allstate Plumbing were very friendly, courteous and proficient in assisting me in setting up an estimate appointment.

Then, on the day of estimate appointment, Mr. Paul Reeder came out and did a very thorough job in explaining the details of the two jobs along with some very useful suggestions (e.g., regular water heater vs. tankless).  I will never forget this.  Because my water heater happens to sit in a closet near the living room, Paul suggested to build a pan underneath the water heater to avoid any flood damage in case if the heater leaked or overflowed.  I have never thought of it because I did not know such pan exists.  And more importantly, he cares!  He also went the extra mile to check my front yard to see which part of piping really needed to be replaced with copper pipe.  On approach, Paul is gentle, friendly, straightforward and professional.  His written estimate is detailed, clear, descriptive and competitive.

I cannot ask for more or better in Paul's follow-up.  Because I had other estimates in hand, Paul was willing to review one of the lower estimates and gave me a discount while taking time and explaining to me why his job and pricing remained to be competitive.  Without coming across as forceful and yet still showing his strong interest in doing business with me, Paul even gave a couple follow-up calls afterward, just to check on my satisfaction with his pricing adjustment.  What a professional way of doing business!  Although I did not move forward with Allstate Plumbing because of family reason unrelated to Paul or his company, I enjoy my encounter with Paul and highly recommend this company to others for their quality customer service.  I will certainly call Paul or his company up next time when I have a plumbing problem.

Since writing the above, the faucet set that the first plumber broke, giving rise to all the above issue has begun to revolve and now needs further repair. So even the simple task they first undertook, messed up and then took months to remedy was not done properly.

Kitchen drain was clogged called him and he came the next day! Good prices too! Highly recommend !

When our kitchen sink was leaking, we reached out to a few plumbers to get a quote. Advanced Quality Plumbing was the quickest to respond and they were home within an hour after the call, to take a look at the sink and give us an estimate.

They recommended replacing the kitchen faucet, and even recommended a particular brand and model, which made it very easy for us to buy it. Within the next 2 days, we made an appointment for them to come over and not only replace the kitchen sink faucet, but also a couple of wash basin sinks in our bathrooms. They were flexible with the timing to come home and replace the faucets, were very professional, prices were reasonable and handled the job in a clean way. Another bonus is that they accept credit cards.

I'd definitely recommend Advanced Quality Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs.

We hired Norman for a bunch of various jobs (replace door knobs, refit door stops, toilet replacement, sprinkler system repairs, etc) and will certainly hire him again for any future work.

I am normally an internet shopper since I never feel there is a value add in fixture stores, however the folks at powder room have completely turned me around.  They were so helpful as I was working on my kitchen remodel.  When we start the bathroom remodel, I will absolutely start by coming to the powder room when I am ready for fixtures!  Great selection, fast delivery and helpful feedback.  Thank you powder room!

I do not often receive exceptional service; however, with American Home Plumbing I did!  From the first contact via the phone to the initial meeting and the final result i was very pleased.  My water heater was leaking (badly) and needed to be replaced.  I wanted to increase the capacity from a 40 gallon to a 50 gallon.  Unfortunately, there were a few constraints in my garage such that it appeared I would not be able to upgrade.  However, with a little creativity American Home Plumbing found a way to install the 50 gallon.  The work was done professionally and the job site was left cleaner than before.   AND- the job was done at a very competitive price.  I could not have asked for more.  I will definitely call American Home Plumbing the next time I am in need of plumbing services.

My under sink hot water pump started making odd sounds and, the water gets cold too soon (the back-flow valve is inside the pump itself and seems to be stuck open).  And, oddly, the radio control button that starts the pump (ours does not operate on a pre-timed schedule 24 x 7 all day long or, worse, run all of the time) now seems to now get triggered by our garage door opener - never did this before.  Mauro came out to inspect a few days after contact and gave us his estimate - we're still considering it as it was pretty high.  He was polite, competent, efficient and the estimate came quickly, but as I said, it was unexpectedly high.

I went to Home Depot on Hesperian to buy some plumbing needs. They didn't have in stock. One of the employee at Depot recommended me this store. I went there got what I need and guess what.. the part at Home Depot was 25 bucks here it was 10 dollars. Surprised with price. Will definitely come back for plumbing needs. I am not sure about their return policy as one of the yelper says 25% charge to return any part. I wouldn't be happy to pay 25%. As of now I don't need to return anything. Will update if something changes.

Our water heater gave out last week and we were frantically calling around to have it replaced. Fast Response truly lives up to its name! They were able to help diagnose the problem over the phone and Billy stopped by within hours to take a look in person. Our house is very difficult to service as we live on a hill and up a narrow staircase, but they were able to get the whole job done in a matter of hours at a very reasonable price. Billy was super friendly and answered our many questions with a smile on his face. So happy to have hot water again! Highly recommend!

Great communication before even making the appointment, once appt made, actually ended up being able to come a day earlier with great communication to make that possible.

Once Vince showed up, he was very thorough and talked us through everything he was doing.  He explained everything in great detail but at a level we could understand.  He was able to fix the issue quickly and even said he would contact the vendor of our faucet for the other issue we were having.

I highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs!

He is uncertified licensed plumber which has no bonds, no warranty, and no profit to customer for any qualify taxes purpose.  Overall, be aware with this Bob Cowden, plenty others quality licensed plumbers out there.

We needed a gas line installed to our fireplace.  Wilver clearly understood and described what needed to be done.  He and his team completed the work quickly and they did a great job.   The price was fair too.  I highly recommend Wilver and Bay Area Plumbing, Rooter and Service.

Years ago when I bought my home I had to replace the water heater. I was fortunate enough to find Bart who not only replaced my water heater but was able to find a creative way to create a drainage system should the area where my water heater was stored flooded (and all within code).

Based on his previous work, I decided to hire Bart again as we had a leak between the master bathroom and guest bathroom downstairs. Bart went through what he believed the error to be and was able to fix it in a quick and timely manner (and I appreciated his thorough clean-up afterwards). One of the best things about working with Bart is that he is honest and you can tell by his work ethic that he takes pride in the little things.

I hope to not run into anymore plumbing issues but I'm glad to know that if I do have any problems, I have a good, reliable, honest plumber to count on.

Mark is professional, responsive, and incredibly reasonable regarding service costs. I would recommend Accolade Home Services to anyone who needs a home repair - great for that annoying list of odd jobs in and around the house. I'm definitely keeping his number handy!
