My wife will be the first person to tell you I'm not very handy around the house. Hey, I'm a business coach! Maybe I should coach a plumber and ask them to teach me a thing or two while I help them grow their business.
Anyway, back to reality. One of the vanity sinks in my home was draining very slowly these past few weeks and we needed to take care of it. I called my new friends at Master Plumbing to help. They'd already sent Mark out last October to take care of the same problem, which he did with a smile and a great attitude. Let's put it this way, I was happy to pay him when he was done.
So, when I called the other day I asked for Mark. He wasn't available. Hmm, should I risk it with another guy? Could he possibly be as friendly as Mark? I looked at my sink, looked back at the phone and said, Sure, I'll take another person.
Bill came over during the appointed time and was every bit as friendly as Mark. He put the baggies over his shoes without a second thought. Other tradesman have walked right in with their shoes on my light carpets and made me wince. Kudos to Bill for this thoughtful gesture.
He assessed the problem and went right to work. Within 20 minutes he was done. Yes, maybe I can learn how to do this for myself next time, but you know what? Master Plumbing is so good I might just leave it to them anyway. Nothing will go wrong this way.
My Growth Coach tip for business improvement: Master Plumbing, you do business with integrity. I visited your website and read your pricing explanation: masterplumbing.net/prici…
and I am impressed.
What's equally important to fair in my mind is friendly. Fair and friendly is a great combination! You should leverage that more. You may even want to feature pictures and bios of your people on our site. They're the stars of your business.
Next, I'd recommend that you say you serve South San Francisco since that's where my plumber was prior to my job. Don't leave out a city if you serve it.
Lastly, create an incentive program for happy customers like me to refer you to others. Say if I refer you to a neighbor I can get an extra 15 minutes of labor with one hour paid at no charge. Makes me want to refer and use you again.

I had my kitchen sink leaking and I contacted LM Plumbing and they fixed it. Excellent service, exceptional, I recommend this 100%.
Manteca, CA 95337
I had a leaking Moen kitchen faucet. Prior to coming out, Steve asked for the model # of my faucet. The day of the appointment, Steve replaced the cartridge to the faucet in about 5 minutes and problem was solved! Price was extremely reasonable. Before I called Alfred Williams I called another plumber who had 5 star reviews on Yelp as well and they immediately made the assumption that I needed a new faucet without even looking at the faucet. I'm glad I didn't listen to them and called Alfred Williams instead. Not all 5 star rating companies are the same!

Norman s work is excellent. Every job I has asked him to do has been 5 STAR.. He is a man of his word and does great work. I would recommend him highly,

They thoroughly assessed our issue and helped me come up with the best solution, given our budget restraints. We talked about the range of possibilities and Will explained the pluses and minuses of it all. He also set things up so that it will be easier to do a more thorough job in the future when we're ready.
His crew was friendly and courteous, respecting the particularities of our home. Their work was quick and of high quality, and they did an excellent clean up job. I'm very happy that I went with Avalon and would recommend them to anyone.

Matt is by far the best Plummer I have dealt with in the 36 years we have owned our home. He has handled everything from clogged toilets and drains to replacing/updating old sink hardware and he has done a yearly inspection--which I believe may have saved us from future water damage. He is prompt; he explains what needs to be done; he is honest; and cleans up when the job is done. I highly recommend Matt/Smash Plumbing!

I simply love this place. I have shopped around for a few years trying to locate a place that had great Customer Service and either knowledge about the products or the ability to get me the information needed. They are able to provide the materials when they say they can get them. I feel very confident that I will get results every time I bring in a Customer to select Plumbing materials or compare the pro's and con's of the different materials and manufacturers. I tell my Customers that we need to go to the Powder Room and talk to the experts about their Plumbing selections.
I have had numerous bad experiences with other plumbing places, misinformed me of the shipping time line, didn't receive the order complete, didn't place the order the first time, didn't know about how to fix issues, wasn't helpful when I need answers or just plain rude. This in the end makes me look bad and unfortunately my customers start to second guess what I commit to them.
As A General Contractor I rely on suppliers to get me the materials when they state they can get them so that I can produce results and stay on time for my Customers. The Powder Room has helped me secure the Plumbing Materials side of my business.

Replaced our 6 year old water heater. Placed my trust on him based on all the wonderful yelp reviews.
Probably felt a little expensive, but I will give him the benefit of doubt. Happens a lot with our neighborhood.
Got everything done nice and clean.

Sometimes you get service so good you just have to get on yelp to rave about it. This is one of them. These guys were amazing, helpful, friendly, and patiently taught me how to relight every pilot in the house and clearly explained everything they had done. A+

Great family owned plumbing supply in the east bay. They have just about any plumbing supplies you'll need, whether your a plumber, or an average joe trying to fix his toilet. They are cheaper than Home Depot in many areas, but not all. The staff are always friendly and excited to help you and are generally very knowledgable. Plenty of room for Parking and loading up trucks. Will definitely be back.

Wow, we just had another great experience with this plumbing company! Years ago, we had them repair a broken clay pipe sewer line. They did a fine job and they were one of the lower priced estimates we received. Clay sewer lines are kinda rare these days so they had to do some searching to find the right materials.
Since then we used them for various smaller jobs and another big one - re-piping the whole house. Our house was built in 1966 and iron pipe was used throughout the house. Iron pipe rusts eventually rusts inside and the iron oxide builds up to and ends up seriously restricting water flow. Again, they did a superb job - finishing the total job in less than 2 days at reasonable cost.
This time, it was a fairly simple job - we noticed the garbage disposal unit starting to leak. I checked it and was able to determine that it was not a pipe or waste line connection leaking and it wasn't the sink collar mounting that had gone bad. Therefore, the only thing it could be is the main seal of the disposal had sprung a leak and the entire unit needed replacement. I called the office and scheduled an appointment. David came out to the house on time of the appointment date. I had texted photos of the sink and disposal under the counter so he was well prepared for the job. He was courteous, professional, thorough and very efficient. It took him less than 1/2 to complete the job. The Badger 5, 1/2 hp unite was $130 and the total job came to $265! We're very happy with the job, the new disposal (much quieter) and the speed at such a good price!
Thanks Savior Plumbing!

They were very responsive to call to assess water heater. Rafael ecommended replacing water heater due to leak from our old heater. Came the next morning with new heater at the appointed time and replaced the heater and replaced old valve within a couple hours. Extremely polite, wore a mask and explained everything thoroughly. So very high rating for service and responsiveness. One caveat, it seemed expensive. $2,400 for newly installed 40 gallon water heater. I didn't get competitive quotes so maybe this is about the going rate In Pac Hghts.

We woke up this morning and our hot water heater had sprung a leak. We called Jeff at 8 and he was able to schedule us in for 11-12. He showed up on time and wrapped up the work in two hours. Basically a lifesaver! We paid $1100 for a 50 gallon replacement hwh.

Bob has been a hero on two plumbing emergencies. He is responsive, honest and will look out for other issues. Look no further if you are looking for quality, fair rate, no-nonsense upselling and friendly service.

We needed a gas line installed to our fireplace. Wilver clearly understood and described what needed to be done. He and his team completed the work quickly and they did a great job. The price was fair too. I highly recommend Wilver and Bay Area Plumbing, Rooter and Service.

I have used them for several plumbing needs--including major projects.
The most recent one is installing a whole home water filtration system. It turns out the city water is not as great as you think it is.
Bart is the only plumber I would call for those needs. PS he is great with dogs.

I scheduled to have Mark come work on some things on my house at 2:15pm on Sunday. I got home at about 2:17pm and didn't see him outside so I figured he was running late. 10 minutes later my roommate comes out of her room and asks if I saw him outside. She told me he had arrived 5-10 minutes early and he told her he would wait outside, it was no problem. So I figured he must have gone somewhere quickly and would be right back. I called him and got no answer, but I left a voicemail. 5-10 minutes later I still hadn't heard back. So I sent him an email asking if he was in his way. He said no, he took another client because he thought I was a no show. I was two minutes late! And he knew that I was coming from something that ended at 2pm! I emailed asking if he'd be able to come after that client, and his reply was No, sorry. Are you freaking kidding me??? What the heck kind of customer service is that? He didn't even try calling my phone while he was waiting to see if I was almost home. I am so totally disappointed and shocked by the rudeness.
UPDATE in response to owner's comments: let me reiterate, I was only 2 minutes late. Anyone who thinks someone is a no show after 2 minutes is not being realistic at all. 2 minutes difference could be a clock that's slightly off. And I would have had no problems with the owner charging for his time starting at our agreed upon meeting time. But no, he just left. No call or email to let me know he was leaving. Let me remind readers that my housemate was home. Did he tell her that he was leaving since I wasn't there yet? No. He thinks I should have pulled out my phone and called him while I was driving to let him know I was running 2 minutes late. I'm sorry I didn't realize that I should have risked a ticket or an accident to call him and let him know I'd be 2 minutes late.
Update in response to additional owner comment: my roommate said he came to the door, introduced himself, and said he knew he was early. She said she didn't know where I was, but that she could text me. Mark said he already knew I was coming from church, so roomie says oh, her phone is probably on silent anyway then. Mark says something like It's no problem, I can just wait outside. So that was fine by my roomie who is a petite 100 pound girl and would prefer not to wait alone in the house with a man she's never met before. She said he gave no indication that he was concerned about me getting home exactly by 2pm, versus 2:02pm. Also, she didn't know the details of what I wanted done, so she couldn't have had him get started.
