My realtor friend recommended Allstate Plumbing when our bathroom was suddenly clogged. They arrived in under 2hrs as promised, did a great job, cleaned up the area very well and left. Price-wise, when we felt that we had overpaid, the manager called us back the very next day and explained the details of the price and even sent us a check for $25 for inconveniencing us at dinner time..all said and done, very nice folks and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

We needed the water shutoff valves in our condo unit changed out, as the originals were stuck and would not turn.  We had one replaced approx 15 years ago, but now we needed both to function as we needed to do some plumbing repairs.  I called Master Plumbing and explained the issue....that we needed shutoff to the entire building to replace the valves in our unit.  They requested that I send them the tenant notification notice indicating that the building would be without water from 8:00 AM to 1:00 pm - which i did.  So they knew that the issue required water shutoff to the entire building.  

The plumber got to my door at 8:30 AM and I showed him the closet with the shut off valves.  He was upset because the work order indicated that the repair was to the valves under the sink which would NOT have required the entire building to be shut off!!!!  He was not happy with this news and said he didn't have the necessary plumbing fittings to do my job (and also the job of another resident who needed the same service).  He said he would not be able to do both units in the required time, since the work order was incorrect.  He called down to his office and had the parts sent up with another plumber who would do the job for my neighbor.

Then he didn't know how to shut down the water heaters, etc in the building.  Luckily, the association president was available to give him access to the water heater shut offs.  This took quite a bit of time before he could start on my job.

There was a great deal of interaction between my plumber and the plumber working on my neighbor's unit.  They would both take time coming and going from unit to unit and talking...i.e. Wow, my access is way harder than yours, etc etc etc.

When they are finally done - my bill was over $850.00....my neighbor's over $750.00!!!!!  We both thought the job could have easily been done in 2 hrs - not the 4+ hours we were charged for.   I called the office to explain that the work order was incorrectly written and that this resulted in additional time and cost.  They said that the parts arrived immediately (no idea how this could have been done so quickly) and the extra time was due to the first plumber not knowing where the water heater shut off was located.  I didn't argue and paid the bill....but I think it very unfair, as if the work order had been correctly written - they would possibly have asked where the shutoff's were located before they came out.

The work done was fine....but, in my opinion (and that of my husband and neighbor) it was not a very professional operation.  So just be aware that you need to have them be very clear about what you need before the plumber arrives.

I was very pleased with the service I received. Luis is very thorough and very helpful. He explained as well as showed me what repairs were needed. I found a good plumber!!

This is how its supposed to go.  I called and the phone was immediately answered.  The receptionist took some basic information and said I would get a call from the plumber in 15 minutes. In about 10 minutes I got a call back from Steve.  He offered to arrive in 2 hours, but I had a conflicting appointment, so we scheduled for the next day.  Upon returning from my appointment, I received a call from Steve asking if I wanted him come over.  He said he moved up another appointment and knew I would be available later in the afternoon.  He arrived within 15 minutes, fixed my problem within the hour, cleaned up after himself, collected his very reasonable fee and was on his way.  Albert Steve Williams is the man to call if you have a plumbing problem.

Norman is a very nice and honest man.  I felt very comfortable with him and he was very thorough in trying to resolve my problem.  Overall, i would highly recommend him.

They thoroughly assessed our issue and helped me come up with the best solution, given our budget restraints. We talked about the range of possibilities and Will explained the pluses and minuses of it all. He also set things up so that it will be easier to do a more thorough job in the future when we're ready.  

His crew was friendly and courteous, respecting the particularities of our home. Their work was quick and of high quality, and they did an excellent clean up job. I'm very happy that I went with Avalon and would recommend them to anyone.

I recently had a sewer repair done by Smash Plumbing and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From start to finish, the team at Smash Plumbing, especially Matt and Aaron, were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous.

Matt and Aaron arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the issue. They took the time to explain the problem to me in detail and offered several solutions to choose from. They were patient with my questions and concerns and made sure I understood everything before proceeding with the repair.

Not the type of service I would expect in a location like Los Gatos.

Let me say first off, don't waste your time with other plumbers, American Home Plumbing is the way to go.

Raheb is super friendly, respectful of your house, takes his shoes off and applies covers to avoid messy clean ups, and super receptive and responsive over the phone and via text.

Raheb first did a regulator for me and was literally half the price of ROTO rooter and other companies I called. I continued to ask for more worked to be done since I was so happy the first time.

He did a number of faucet leaks, cartridge replacements, shower valves, outside hose valve, and RO piping replacements with no problem.

Recommended to my neighbor for some leaky bathroom sink issues involving piping and the cartridges and was literally 1/3 the price of the quote my neighbor got previously from a chain plumbing service.

American home plumbing is fully licensed and I fully recommend their services. No BS, up front with parts costs etc.

Within 45 minutes of calling Mauro's Plumbing there was a plumber fixing my toilet. Turned out clog was in the pipe and not the commode so they simply removed the toilet and got to the clog that way. Took about 20 minutes in total and the price was very reasonable.

Wow! Rented a large tool from this place and what a different experience than Home Depot.  No wait, brand new equipment, really friendly service.  And the price was amazing - $75 for a stump grinder that Home Depot charges $138 for (although this may be limited time pricing since they have a sign saying 50% off).  Still - they made it so easy to rent from them that even if it was a little more I'd still be happy.  I'm definitely coming back.

I had called to inquire about the garbage disposal replacement , the price they quoted was reasonable and scheduled an appointment the same day with Roger. Roger was great. He went through the replacement process and provided regular tips on maintenance which was great. He did a fabulous job. The major replacement was done smoothly but the hose clamps were small for the newly installed unit and it was running overtime. Roger after talking to his owners waived off the extra hours spent on the clamp install as he wanted to finish the install in a complete state and test it thoroughly , even though I mentioned I would take care of it.
He did go a extra mile to get the job done ! Awesome !! Great service !!

Fast Response Plumbing did excellent work on a very challenging bathroom sink installation.

Had a bad clog in my shower that i couldn't quite reach my self. Messaged Jeff the owner and he got back to me quick and early at 7:00am and had me scheduled same day and fixed.

Nice and easy and reasonably priced. Jeff ,his company ,and workers are great!

We hired Bob several times for plumbing concerns.  He did a decent job on small jobs and was reasonablely priced.  Then, mysteriously, he just did not return calls, didn't follow through as he said he would, and never would explain his actions (or lack of action) to us.  We finally gave up and found another plumber who was better, reliable, and gave senior discounts.  We were actually never really sure if Bob Cowden was a licensed plumber as he never put a license or a number on his billing.

Great job to fix my clogged kitchen drain on a raining Sunday morning. Really appreciate.

Bart was very prompt in handling my plumbing problems. He is great to deal with and very fair with pricing. Will be using him for any future plumbing needs.

Mark did a fantastic job with installing our new cooktop. He was punctual, cleaned up after himself and hauled out the old cooktop with no questions asked.

He was also super on top of making sure all safety precautions were followed. Highly recommended!
