After contacting over 20 other plumbers (I'm not kidding!) to install a Grohe Smart Valve, I was able to connect with Allstate Plumbing.  The other plumbers or plumbing companies either could not work with this valve or wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount.  Abraham came out, assessed the work and the office gave me a reasonable estimate.  The work was scheduled in a timely fashion and completed within a day.  If  I could give Allstate Plumbing 10 stars, I would.  Thanks to all the folks I came in contact with.  Very professional, established and easy to work with.  Allstate is now my go to company for all my plumbing needs.

Master plumbing does the plumbing for my apartment building.  Jimmy came in and replaced my shower valve.  He was very courteous and didn't leave a mess like lots of plumbers do.  Everything works great!  Thanks Jimmy and Master Plumbing!

We called early in the morning and Technician Steve arrived just as scheduled ...on a busy Monday after Thanksgiving. He successfully unclogged a bathroom sink drain, noticed a drain pipe leak and repaired it, and corrected a dripping bathtub faucet. The price was right. This was our first experience with Alfred Williams, and we are very pleased.

Norman has been incredibly patient, thorough, and knowledgeable in coaching me through the fix of some leak issues in our new home.  He has so much expertise and focuses on how best to solve the problem, rather than getting a quick buck or over promising with our family.  Even while out of town, he has been very responsive, proactive, and helpful in getting us to troubleshoot this tricky issue since our house is an old house with unique architecture.  Overall I could not recommend Norman highly enough.  Thank you for everything!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with John and The Powder Room.  I found myself in a pinch and in need of a cabinet and counter top for a remodel that was already in the works.  John was so helpful, worked with me on different manufacturers that met the color and style I wanted.  He followed up on status, before I even needed to ask.  I highly recommend John and the personal touch he provided.

Raheb rocks!! He not only came out last night to shut all the water off to make sure there was no water damage, he gave me a quote on the spot. He came back today after picking up my new water heater and installed it and made sure everything (even my circ pump) was running properly. I cannot praise Raheb enough..he was very courteous and explained things to me...when he left, he left a clean and organized workplace. Thank you Raheb!!

I can't say enough good about Mauro's plumbing service.  We called the company he was affiliated with about 4 years ago and got great service then - I still had his phone number so this time when we had a serious clog that was backing up into the bathtub, I phoned him on a Sunday night - he answered the phone and came as soon as my husband could be home the following afternoon.  He put in a solid 45 minutes freeing the clog and the rate he charged was completely reasonable.  I agree with so much said by the other reviewers, especially that most of us brace ourselves to be soaked (yeah, pun) by a plumber and it's like with any tradesperson, when you find one who is honest, reasonable and trustworthy, it's really an unexpected pleasure.  Mauro is the best!

I have have always wanted to support locally owned businesses.  This place shows that they do care about their clients by given me a return phone call in a timely manner even though it's the holiday weekend.  In addition, they do know their stuff vs the other plumbers that I have talked to.

I called Savior to replace a broken toilet handle and the plumber who came out recommended replacing the bowl gasket, and fill valve as well.  Unfortunately, that just caused more problems and it   took 3 trips out to get the job done right.  After the second fail I requested a different plumber.  So what should have been a simple job required me to allot a 2 hour window 3 times.  Even more annoying was he charged an additional fee on top of the hourly rate for a mini rooter to unclog 2 drains.  Valley Plumbing does not charge extra to unclog a drain if it  falls within the hour.  I see some great reviews for Savior.  I guess it   just depends which plumber does the job.

San Francisco City has contractors examining the sewage pipes throughout the neighborhoods.  This time the contractors came down my block. They examined
the sewage pipe coming out from my house and discovered a very bad situation.
Showing me on camera, there was lots of roots growing and clogging the line. The
line was draining very slowly but not not totally cogged yet. I decide to have the sewage line clean out before it got worst.  

Calling several contractors that knew plumbers, I but could not get them to recommend any of the plumbers to do the type of clean out I needed to have done honestly. This is my very first time I have ever used Yelp to find a plumbing service company or any other type of services.  I don't find every review negative or positive trueful which causes some concern when a choosing a company.

I finally called Fast Response Plumbing & Rooter.  After a short wait Eric arrived. He
recommend that I do a hydro jet clean out instead of a snake clean out. I was concern about doubling my cost with a hydro clean out.  After given it some thought that afternoon, I went with the hydro clean out with a appointment the next day.

The next I received a phone call from their office, Dennis arrived earlier than expected. Dennis drove up in his truck towing a trailer with a huge hydro jetter to do the job. Tackling the sewage drain from the street and from the garage, one hour and fifteen minutes later the sewage drain was cleared. Dennis ran his camera down the drain and showed me the condition after the cleaning, Super CLEAN and no roots.

Both men were very prompt, pleasant and professional. Dennis brought the right equipment and got the job done in no time. I recommend that you try them out. I
was pleasantly surprise using Fast Response Plumbing and Yelp for the first time.

Jeff was very professional & I really appreciated the fact that he made the extra effort to work in fixing my disposal today even though I just contacted him this morning!!! His work was done in a timely manner too!

I noticed water under our water heater on Saturday morning and Bob's name and number were written on it.  He installed the water heater for the previous owner over 10 years ago.  I called Bob and left a message. He called back within an hour and said he had other jobs lined up for the day but he could come by at 4 PM. He asked me questions over the phone that confirmed that the problem was a leak within the tank. Bob was on time and knew immediately what to do. Within two hours, he had removed the old water heater and installed a new one. There were a couple of drain lines still to install, but it was getting late, so he came back Sunday morning at 10, again on time, to finish the job. Bob is affable, capable, efficient and clearly takes great pride in his work. His dogs are friendly, too. I highly recommend Bob Cowden plumbing.

We decide to replace our old toilets recently. Bart was very resourceful and patient to address our questions and concerns over the phone. He came on-site and did a free inspection and recommended the toilet to install in each bathroom. A few days later he came with the new toilets and spent the time to install them firmly and cleanly.

One of the toilet seat was a bit off the center after installation. I actually didn't notice that before he pointed out. He then spent the next 30min triaging what was off, and eventually made everything perfectly symmetrical. I am very impressed with his craftsmanship and meticulous attitude.

Cost wise, Bart's quote ranks reasonably in the middle (I had quotes from 6 different sources), and what we get is top brand TOTO as well as top notch service. The !/$ ratio is hard to beat. I would definitely recommend Bart to friends and family in the future.

Mark is still awesome!!  He came to our house on a Sunday and I had a list of jobs ranging from gently removing birds nest to hanging a heavy mirror and removing a sink.  By the way he did everything quickly and did not tie up our whole Sunday waiting on him to finish. He is stellar at what he does and he is fair at what he charges which is so important because I don't want to feel gauged just because my husband may not have time to do these odds and ends jobs or simply just doesn't have the skill.
