Our house is 50 years old and we have struggled with the washing machine overflowing for years. We have tried different plumbers and I have always been less than satisfied.
I found Allstate from Yelp, and then was told by our handyman that
Allstate was who he would recommend as the people are talented and ethical.
Alfredo came out and was very professional. He explained that he would try to clear the drain in the shortest time possible, but if that didn't work, he had other methods to make sure that our washing machine didn't overflow anymore. Sure enough, he worked for an hour without stopping before he finally got the pipe cleared and we were only charged for the basic rate. Alfred also told me of things we can do in the future to upgrade our pipes without having to replace all of the drain pipes.
I really appreciate his conscientiousness and sensitivity as well as his professionalism and downright talent.
It's good to know we have the name of a plumber we can call without holding our breath in fear of being ripped off.

Jorge and Edgar came out to fix a problem with a noisy pipe inside a wall. This was the second company I had look at the problem (1st company did the wrong thing that had to be undone by Master). Jorge accurately identified the problem the first time he came out and then fixed it with Edgar after I finally got approval for the job to be done. They're honest guys and they do good work. Cleaned up well before they left.
The noise is finally gone. Thanks!

I recently had two weird unrelated plumbing problems with my water heater and kitchen sink faucet. I called Luis to request his opinion and advice, and he was extremely pleasant, patient, and generous with his time. He clearly explained what he thought was going on, and based on his advice I was able to deal with the problems myself, at least for now. I had to call him 3 or 4 times to sort this all out, and he always answered immediately or called back within 10 minutes, even on a Saturday. The next time I need a plumber he's definitely got the job.

I called Steve to replace toilet tank bolts. He was very punctual, quick and professional!
I will call him next time!

Honest and generous with his time, Norman was upfront that he could not provide the service I needed but was very helpful and assisted in locating someone who could. I can definitely recommend him as someone who will give you an honest assessment of your job!

Will and his team provided outstanding service! He is very professional, reliable, responds very fast and does amazing work. My pipes under my home was leaking and the water created giant puddles under my home. Will and his team in 1 day were able to replace all of my piping under my home. I am an extremely happy customer. I highly recommend hiring Avalon Services.

Almost exactly 2 years ago, Matt installed for us a new garbage disposal unit. It fell apart a couple of months ago. Why? Because he did not use plumber's putty where he needed to. Basic stuff, right?! The unit finally was shaken loose and it broke down: leaking and foul-smelly with spoiled food inside. ONLY 2 years later, I had to pay for a new unit not because the unit stopped working but because it was not installed correctly. Frustrating.
Speaking of BASIC work not getting done correctly, Matt replaced the flushing mechanism for one of our toilets. He did not pay attention to where the water level was in the tank before he replace the mechanism. The tank started to leak very soon. He came back and corrected his work. And he charged me $75 for correcting his work.
Then there was a bidet on one of our toilets that was leaking. He fixed the leak but he tightened the knot so much that I could not replace the bidet when it broke. He came back and 'fixed' it and again, he charged me $75 for correcting his work.
I did tell Matt I would not use him ever again and I told him I probably would not write him up on yelp etc. And I didn't. But this garbage disposal issue is beyond reasonable tolerance. I am beginning to worry that the job he did for us in the crawl space will go bad soon, too.
The take-away here is it's extremely frustrating to see so many jobs Matt did developed into problems in very short time. I don't want this happen to those of you considering Matt for your plumbing jobs. For those of you who have praised his work recently, hang tight.

Our 20 year old Grohe shower was dripping. I was afraid because of the age, we'd have to tear out the wall to replace the discontinued temperature valve and stops. By phone, the Powder Room was able to identify the parts needed by my texting pictures. They arranged for Thornes Plumbing to come out with the correct parts and everything was fixed. The single handle shower valve now works as smoothly and easily as new. Very nice and professional people.

I called and Rahib said he'd try to work me in on New Year's Eve, which sounded great especially on short notice. Unfortunately he wasn't able to because of another job, so he said that he could show up at 8:30 AM on the day after New Year's instead. In light of the holiday and my difficulty in finding someone else, that sounded okay. This morning he didn't show up, didn't call, his voice mailbox is full, and he did not respond to a text message. I can respect that on short notice, someone may not be able to fit me into the schedule. If they tell me as much, that's no big deal; I can find another plumber to help me out. But when someone does give me a specific time they're going to show up, I expect them to be there. This experience did not impress me at all.

OMG! I agree with the others. This guy is AWESOME!!!! We were so expecting an expensive, depressing experience. But I'm happy to say the opposite. Mauro came when he said he would - on a Saturday. He took care of replacing a thermal coupler on our water heater, fixed a broken pipe under our one story house and cleared out blockage in our pipes. All in one hour. He used his time efficiently and was nice to be around. The pricing left us with a grin on our faces, as we were expecting so much worse. Will be recommending him to everyone I see. A+ indeed.

This is a great shop. They have all the rough plumbing stuff you need. It's in bins so you can walk around and pick out what you want. Really handy if you are trying to figure it out. Having Sunday hours is a huge deal. They are on my short list of suppliers for sure!

I've used Savior Plumbing for several years now, and I'm glad I do. Recently I had a NUVO H2O System installed by them and it is outstanding. The quality of water now is far better than it was. The water is softer, and tastes great right from the faucet. We are very glad we had it installed.
Also, I want good and honest service and that is what you get with Savior. Tom, the owner, is a man of high integrity and stands by his company's work. So, we always use Savior and recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

Dennis is very knowledgeable and took the time in explaining pros and cons of replacing our main sewer line. We originally wanted to go with the trenchless. After doing some exploration, he found that we had very little grade on our existing pipe and because roots were already in the old pipe, pulling in the trenchless pipe may end up with bellies in them. In short we end up putting in cast iron and clean outs every 50 feet. I was amazed at how fast he and his crew worked.
We have a 110 feet sewer line and he completed the job with city inspection in 6 days. He used a jackhammer to pound the soil back in so there will not be much settling of the soil when raining season comes. They covered grass area with tarps so the lawn won't get all muddy up and cleaned up very nicely. He starts work early and worked late into the evening.
He even planted some lawn seeds for me when job was completed. Thank you. :=)
I would use Dennis again and would recommend him if you need a reliable plumber. He pulled 12 hour shifts along with his crew.

Fantastic experience. Jeff was friendly, courteous, and professional. He found the multiple problems causing leaks under my sink and showed them to me for verification. He replaced the worn parts and fixed the problems without delay--and at an extremely reasonable cost. Jeff is the man in In Demand.

I was very happy with both times I used Bob's plumbing services this month. He came on time, showed up with a friendly attitude, protected the immediate area that he worked in, and even got an appliance company to replace my faucet for free with a phone call! I would absolutely use him in the future.

Great job to fix my clogged kitchen drain on a raining Sunday morning. Really appreciate.

We were evaluating a possible natural gas line and Bart came by to take a look and give us a free quote. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable. We ended up not moving forward with the project based on his advice. We'll definitely be working with him for all future plumbing and drain projects!

Mark is really good at quick fixes around the house. He is efficient and his price is reasonable. I have had him come to my house numerous times for various jobs.
