My shower floor was filling with water and debris from the floor drain, it also did the same thing in the other bathroom. I gave Allstate a call Wednesday in the afternoon and described my predicament to Paul. He sounded courteous, but didn't want to assess the situation nor give a  quote.

I asked if I can get an appointment with a plumber at 5:30pm. He said to expect someone between 6 and 8 pm. That was Miguel who arrived at half past 6. When he found out about the clogged shower and bath tub drains, he said it'll cost me $150 because service calls after 5pm are at this rate. I almost asked him to leave. He then gave me $25 discount because of Yelp. And he also added that if he can't unclog the drain after an hour, he won't charge me.

Miguel cleared the clog in less than 20 minutes. It was a quick and professional job, but I will probably try a different plumber next time because of the hourly rate.

Thanks to Jach H's recommendation, I called Master Plumbing when my guest bathroom's toilet needed to be fixed.

Just like all the reviews here, making the appointment was easy and they call when they were on their way over.  Everything was taken care of and fixed in less than 15 mins! They are definitely good at what they do!

Yes they have a minimum fee of 1 hour at $88, which is a little high for my 12 mins work, but it's ok since the job got done and they had to drive to North San Jose from Mtn View. Think of it as a cab fee. :)

Si habla Español. Luis was prompt with replaying thru here and gave his number for further communication. I had a clogged toilet with was caused by a clogged main drain that leads to the street. He used a 140ft plumbing auger and dislodge the clogged at or about 50ft. He used all 140ft of it 4x thru the drain. He then asked to run the water for about 15-20min while runing a water hose down the drain to create greater water pressure. He will need to use some electricity or other utilities to complete the job or at least attempt. I was satisfied with his work. Not only did he fix the issue, he explained what was that he did to fix the issue. For a total charge of $299.00

Hands down, THE BEST. I rarely leave yelp reviews, let alone positive ones :), but these guys deserve it. Stand up guys that are extremely honest and fairly priced. My storm drains were clogged and the flooding had begun, they were out on the property within an hour and immediately unclogged the drains within the next hour. Saved my house from flooding. Turns out there was another problem on the other side of the property that needed to be addressed so I called them back, and they shot over in a couple of hours to start fixing it. This was a gnarly one, so the team called in Kory, who showed up within 20 mins and they diagnosed and fixed it within a couple of hours. Honestly, super impressed with their diligence and work ethic. Definitely my GO-TO folks and I plan on having them on rotation to service the storm drains every other year. Jeremy, Kory, and ____ (name escapes me), are truly an amazing team.

Norman was fantastic.  He showed up in 15 mins and helped fix the problem very fast.  A+ customer service!

Will was very responsive, and professional.  His team completely replaced our sewer lateral through trenchless replacement and installed a clean out, and took care of all the permitting.  He made extra effort to avoid damaging our hedge, even though the work was done in a tight space.

While waiting for the permits to come through, our sewer backed up, and they rearranged their schedule to quickly come and clear the line again, which I really appreciated.

I certainly recommend him.

My Tankless water heater basically blew up after years of working great.  Aaron and Matt picked up the phone be the first ring and immediately trouble shooter the symptoms with me.  

Without me asking they were on the phone with Navian ordering me replacement parts.  Unfortunately the parts took a week to get her because of a holiday.  Instead of me being without hot water for a week they came and set up a temporary water heater at no charge while we waited for the part.  

I was shocked at the great level of service and care that I received from smash plumbing.

Small storefront crammed with plumbing goodness. However, the particular kitchen faucet we wanted wasn't on site. As we needed it today (two days before Christmas), John hooked us up to will call at his distributor. Done. Reasonable price. Great service. Nice store.

I contacted Rahib, the owner, and once I explained the situation, he made a thorough assessment on two potential issues related to the shower head not completely turning off.  He provided a quote and was very professional.  Once he came to the home he quickly identified the issue and replaced the cartridge in the shower lever.  He ensured the area was clean when he left.  In addition, he provided good recommendations related to a water softener system.   Highly responsive, professional, excellent assessment and corrective action, personable, and fair pricing for services performed.  Thank you, Rahib!!

I have been using Mauro's company for many years and today his excellent service moved me to write a review--which is saying a lot because I hate Yelp!  

I had already asked my super skilled carpenter to look at my shower handle and he couldn't get the old one off without more tools.  Oh no worst fear, my 13 yr. old son going days without a shower!

First, Mauro himself came to my rescue on a same day notice.  He was only scheduled to conduct an inspection of the problem because he's the owner and has plenty of skilled guys of his own he normally sends out.  However, lucky me, Mauro was near the end of his day when I called!  He arrived like a monk at my doorstep, not a plumber.  Once he realized we couldn't turn off our shower, he jumped right in...

The cartridge you bought doesn't fit the old one, he whispered.  What should we do?! I asked.  My worst fear creeping up again, reschedule for another day?  No. he warmly assured me.

Like a zen master, he quietly broke off the warped handle (with his hand, no tools required!) and began assembling old parts with new parts, all while teaching me how the pieces function together.  Am I really learning how to install this alongside him as the crisis is being averted?!  Yup!  That's the magic of Mauro and his incredible team!

Wanted to replace/upgrade my shower valve and trim. Contacted them but decided not to upgrade my shower fixtures after all - I just did a quick repair myself. But they did provide good customer service, competitive pricing, prompt response times, were available after hours, and can do the work 24/7. Local owned business.

Sammy of Savior Plumbing cleaned up my clogged kitchen drain today. He did a great job and take time to make sure the problem went away. I was bit surprised when he mentioned $20 cable charge,  but he got that waived as I told him that I was not made aware of that charge in additional to the hourly charge. Great customer service attitude!  Something that Sears really need to learn.

I've only used Fast Response Plumbing once, but I appreciated that they honored their original quote despite the fact that the job required multiple visits to rectify the issue (not their fault).  And they were patient about a building access delay due to my landlord.  And I love that they don't charge for providing estimates.  Will definitely call them again with future plumbing needs.

I would give this company no starts or negative stars if I could.  Most of these reviews are fake done by the business.  Worst experience I have had from any plumbing company.

I was charged $1000 dollars erroneous amount for the plumber to fix some pipe issues, after inspection and replacing parts the issue of backed up pipes occurred again.  I called a commercial company as In demand could not fix or find the problem and as a result wasted my money and time.  Roto Rooter fixed the problem and was honest about all issues that needed to be fixed..

I ended up paying and eating the cost that in Demand Demanded lol but what a joke!!! Had to pay two companies and as a result In Demand robbed me from fixing the issue and out $1000 due to their lack of training.  Please avoid them at all cost just wanted to write this to help others from dealing with such issues and headaches.

I noticed water under our water heater on Saturday morning and Bob's name and number were written on it.  He installed the water heater for the previous owner over 10 years ago.  I called Bob and left a message. He called back within an hour and said he had other jobs lined up for the day but he could come by at 4 PM. He asked me questions over the phone that confirmed that the problem was a leak within the tank. Bob was on time and knew immediately what to do. Within two hours, he had removed the old water heater and installed a new one. There were a couple of drain lines still to install, but it was getting late, so he came back Sunday morning at 10, again on time, to finish the job. Bob is affable, capable, efficient and clearly takes great pride in his work. His dogs are friendly, too. I highly recommend Bob Cowden plumbing.

We needed a gas line installed to our fireplace.  Wilver clearly understood and described what needed to be done.  He and his team completed the work quickly and they did a great job.   The price was fair too.  I highly recommend Wilver and Bay Area Plumbing, Rooter and Service.

I had a few problem toilets at my office. I gave Bart a call and he was able to squeeze me in within two hours. He was very professional and knew his stuff. He was very honest and up front with what needed to happen and how much it should cost. He had all of our plumbing issues fixed within a hour.
Hopefully I won't need him again very soon, but I will recommend him to my friends and I recommend him to you!

A huge thumbs up for Mark Bissell!

Mark replaced a broken over-the-range microwave with a new range hood and added matching backsplash tile above the range.  I contacted Mark by email and was able to get an estimate from him just by sending some photos and describing what we needed done.  He was very responsive and recommended that while he could find matching tile, it would be cheaper if we went and found the tile ourselves, and suggested some places to look.  We were able to find it ourselves, saving quite a bit.

Mark's installation of the range hood and tile was excellent, and he was very communicative and asked exactly how we wanted it done.  When the hood didn't fit as expected, Mark quickly improvised and was able to cut out the bottom of the cabinet above to make it fit perfectly.  The tile was done meticulously and overall the job was completed very efficiently.  Mark took care to lay down a cover to protect the floor, and used a wooden cover to protect the range top.  He also vacuumed while he was cutting the old tile to prevent dust from collecting and cleaned up the kitchen when he was done.

It turned out he didn't need to cut any of the new tile for installation, so he even gave us a discount on the original estimate.  The job was done so well we just stuck with the original estimate, so Mark disposed of our old microwave for us at no charge instead.

My wife remarked he was the first contractor we've hired who did such a great job.  Mark is honest and straightforward, I highly recommend him for your home repair/remodeling services.
