A couple weeks ago, our upstairs' bath tub handle broke and we weren't able to turn on the water to take a shower.  So I went on Yelp to find a plumber.  Originally, we called another plumbing company to come out and take a look.  The guy who answered the phone said he would give us a quote but won't be able to work on it because his schedule was full.  When he arrived, he told us that we had to change the valve and gave us a quote.  He even said that it was the only way to fix it.  We weren't too happy with the price he quoted so we called Allstate.  A couple hours later, Allstate sent a plumber and he gave us 2 quotes: one was to try to remove the existing faucet, change the broken piece and put the faucet back in and the other choice was to change the valve.  The plumber, who I believe was also the owner, went immediately to work with the cheapest quote he gave us.  After removing the faucet, the water burst out and it started leaking water.  This is when all of us decided that we should just change the valve.  The price he quoted us was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the first plumbing company we called, so we were very happy with the cost and they showed excellent customer service.  The other plumbing company gave me a negative vibe.  I saw that they had two different company names on Yelp so that was a red flag for me.

I was referred to Alfred Williams Plumbing by Nelson Plumbing.  This was for a rental property and it is a manufactured home with old plastic piping.  Nelson Plumbing to suggested l call Alfred Williams because he had experience with manufactured homes.  I called at 10:30 a.m. today and Steve met me at 11:30 a.m.  After understanding what the problem was, he immediately went under the house and found the leak.  He advised repairing it was not worth the time, that repiping was the way to go, or I would likely be having another leak as this type of piping is really bad (I knew he was correct, as I had been advised by a few plumbers over the years that I need to get rid of the old plastic piping).  He told me exactly what and where the problem was.  He was very nice, very knowledgeable and I appreciated his honesty.  He charged me $60 and was there for about 40 minutes.  I will definately call him again if I have another plumbing problem.

We worked with Norman to create a playroom out of an unfinished room on our second floor.  Norman installed sheet rock over stucco, painted the sheet rock, recommended an excellent business for carpet installation and then installed the baseboards.  He also did miscellaneous tasks around the house, such as patching a hole in the ceiling.  We really enjoyed working with Norman - we felt like he really knew his stuff and was honest with us about pricing and options (his pricing was also very reasonable as well, and we got two other quotes for the work).  He did the work on a very timely basis and left the area very clean.  We will definitely continue to work with Norman as we have projects that we need help with.  We are very excited about the playroom that he helped us complete.  Thanks, Norman!

Will is personable, thorough, and does things at a great price. His work is fantastic and I do not see myself calling any other plummer. He is honest and straightforward with what is needed versus what could be done. He is friendly, does clean work, and is speedy.

We bought some new faucets and a garbage disposal and after looking at the  installation instructions, decided to turn to the professionals!  Aaron came to our house within a couple of hours of our call, and had all three items installed within a couple of hours. He was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and we will call this company again for any plumbing needs.

The Powder Room is the best place to go for Kitchen & Bath plumbing needs in the bay area. We recently had a problem with our shower fixture. We were told by other stores to replace it with a new fixture, since our current fixture was made by a company that had gone out of business.  Kathy and John helped us pick out a replacement fixture, but they also encourage us to review options to fix the current fixture. With John's coaching, we were able find an industry standard part to fix our current fixture. This saved us money as well as help keep our current bathroom design intact. They have an incredible network of suppliers that allow them to get products quickly. What separates them from other similar businesses is the in-depth knowledge and amazing service of Kathy and John. I would highly recommend them for your Kitchen and Bath plumbing needs. Thomas B

Our p-trap under our sink was dripping and we had a new faucet to install.  They responded within one day.  They made an appointment the next day.  They did a great job we're in and out in a hour.  Thank you.  No more dripping water under our sink or above ou sink.  Thank you!

Hired a water tank replacement in a rental home I own. I had called several places. Savior was the cheapest and most responsive, clean job, lively tech. He did a super job and cleaned up ever little piece of trash. Tech was so sweet and nice to both me and my renter and explained ways to keep the new tank working for a long time. Great!!  I would recommend them to everyone.

We had a leaking garbage disposal under our sink.  It looked like the gasket  had failed filling the cabinet with water.  Rafael came over exactly on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and repaired it. Reasonable rates, fast and reliable service.  What more would you want from a business?  I would use them again.

Super job on my water heater repair. On time and excellent customer to business relationship. Communication is very responsible and this is my second job w them. I would like to add my recommendation for Bob Cowden Plumbing. I had a plumbing emergency on Sunday evening. I ended up turning to Yelp and a different 5 star recommended plumber responded and attempted to snake my drain then told me I needed to have a grease clogged kitchen drain pipe replaced at $1200.

I called Bob based on recommendations from Nextdoor and left a message. He promptly returned my call and informed me that I most likely did not need the pipe replaced and explained this type of problem should have been easily resolved with a snake by any competent plumber. He also told me even if the pipe was damaged or corroded shut and required replacement he could probably replace it for around $300 plus parts.

In any case, he came over first thing Monday morning and snaked the drain and cleared the obstruction. There was no back up or slow drain at all. I filled the sink to the top and it drained in about 30 seconds! He also installed a new kitchen faucet and replaced a corroded pipe fitting. This was all done at a very reasonable agreed upon price!

Great job to fix my clogged kitchen drain on a raining Sunday morning. Really appreciate.

HE DOES NOT DO RENTALS.  He assumes all property owners are scum!  HE TOLD ME THAT!!!!!!!  I am a private property owner with a duplex.  He refused my business with a snarky text saying that property managers burn their bridges with him.  I am NOT a property manager - just a person with a rental unit ON MY PROPERTY!

Well - THEN I WILL TAKE my BUSINESS  ELSEWHERE.  I am so FURIOUS, I am seeing red.  What a freaking nerve!

I have never been so damn angry in my life!
