I had a leaking faucet in the shower which had not been replaced since the house was built.  To help replace it, I called Allstate plumbing who arranged for a plumber to come out the next morning.  The plumber conducted himself professionally and had a friendly demeanor.  He worked quickly to replace the parts and charged a reasonable price for his time.  I was pleased with their overall services and will call them again if I need any further help.

Having used them for our current water heater installation and their quality work a few years ago, we called a week in advance to get an estimate for major work to be done for a new home purchase (several slow drains, improperly installed garbage disposal, broken RO system, 1 main supply upgrade, several leaky pipes). The normal quick estimate time didn't apply to us because the job was so big, so we waited for Jim to come out this morning.

30 minutes late, we called and asked where Jim was, since we'd already taken the morning off for work. Another job. I won't be there until late this afternoon. We called back and politely asked what the problem was. Our fault, he was doubly scheduled. Can you rebook for tomorrow at the same time and waive your estimate fee? Sure, we've got you down. 20 minutes later, they called back and let us know since it was last minute they wouldn't be able to accommodate that, and instead would give us a 4 hour window some other time this week.

Masters, they are not. Nor are we their customers anymore.

Stay away from these guys for anything major. We need the work done but if we can't rely on them to even schedule an estimate correctly, we're certainly not going to trust them to a big job!

Luis came over and cleaned out my main valves to the house. Reinstalled my toilet. Honest, very reliable. I am definitely only using him from now on.

This is a great business with great customer service.  My family has been using them for 15 years or so and we can always count on them to show up quickly and solve the problem the most affordable way possible.

So, after my initial review, Norman called me that same day. He was apologetic and said everything you could want, and then some. He asked what he could do to get the review taken down, and offered to compensate me for it, which I thought was a bit odd. I said I hadn't paid him anything, to which he replied that time was money and I'd had my time wasted. I politely declined, and said that really the only thing that would make me want to take down the review was if the job got done, which it hadn't been. He agreed that this was reasonable and said he'd put me in touch with another one of his handymen, a better one. Which, again, I thought was a little odd since it begs the question why I was initially put in touch with an apparently less capable handyman. I'm given to understand that this better handyman is licensed and therefore in greater demand. I said that this would be fine, I just wanted the job done. We agreed and Norman said he'd have his guy get in touch.

That was 12 weeks ago today, and was the last time I heard from anyone at San Mateo Handyman. I'm starting to think that maybe they're not gonna call. Anyways, previously I'd given them two stars, with that second star being because I thought that, if nothing else, they did a good job communicating. Obviously that's out the window now.

I've worked with Will with clients on many homes through the years. His knowledge and experience, combined with excellent customer service has made him someone I call upon and refer out to clients again and again. Avalon gets my highest recommendation.

This is the second time I've called Matt for my plumbing needs.  Last week when I called him in the morning he was able to come over in a few hours and handle my pumping issue.  He is very courteous, knowledgeable and an all around nice person.  I know I can count on SMASH PLUMBING to handle all my personal plumbing needs and for other service needs of our condominium building.

They have a beautiful show room, and Kathy was very helpful while we were looking at things.  We decided on 3 possible faucets and asked for quotes with whatever discounts they could offer. They quoted us a Moen faucet for ~$335, which was already higher than the local Pacific Sales. We really wanted to support the small company, though, so were willing to pay a bit more.  However, when we called back to confirm and purchase, the price went up to $372. We told them about the quote and even gave them the quote number. They didn't even bother to look it up. They dismissed it and stuck with the higher price.  We can order the darn thing online for $310.  I wouldn't shop there again.  Use the showroom to see the product, then go to Pacific Sales and ask for Wes.

This was the best experience with a plumber I've had. He came the same day, within the time window, fixed my garbage disposal in about 30 seconds, and wasn't going to charge me anything. I realize it was a quick fix but most plumbers charge for showing up even if they don't do anything.

Two of our showers had issues (temperature control and water leak). I called Mauro's Plumbing and was able to setup an appointment the next morning. They sent over their plumber named Johnny. He was very efficient in correcting the issues and more importantly he came off as a friendly and decent young man. He is a great asset to their company and employees like Johnny are the reason I will continue to call upon them for any plumbing issues I have in the future.

bin shopping with these guys for over 6 years! they have always bin the best supply house in my opinion! I have called them for emergency water heaters at 2 in the morning and they open just for me! these guys make life so easy for a busy plumber! thanks for everything u do guys!!!

This place rocks. Sam was able to make it to our rental property within the hour, this guy is amazing. I will no longer call anyone else but Savior plumbing. Very very very happy with our service. Best of all Sam is exactly what the tri-valley needs-honest, resourceful and dependable. :) they deserve a 10 star.

It was around past 7pm on a Monday evening when I called Fast Response and spoke with Dennis regarding our kitchen sink that got clogged.  I asked for him to fix it that very night and instead of some hesitation, he willingly oblige that he will be in in an hour but what is more impressive is he is in our home within an hour.  How is that for FAST RESPONSE!

Apparently, our drain is somewhat weird looking since it is really a dinosaur so to unclogged it requires a bit of some patience and skills and Dennis truly has that and I knew then that he will do the job right and sure enough in no time, he was able to unclogged it in less than an hour.  The only thing is our p-trap had a crack and imagine that since he was out of p-trap in his truck, he willingly drove to the nearest Home Depot and bought a p-trap and came back to our home and have it installed.  That, my friends, is someone who truly cares for his customers, know what true customer service is about and being true to his profession and Dennis is very professional and yet has an easy-going and friendly demeanor like a buddy you can hang around with.  

My only fear is I hope he doesn't change like some of the plumbers I used before.  Once they have great reviews, somehow the quality of customer service goes down with a high fee for their work.  By the way, he charged me a very reasonable price.  I hope I won't need a plumber anytime soon or ever but if I do need one, I know who to call....  FAST RESPONSE!

Jeff at In Demand Plumbing is AMAZING! I have an investment property in Martinez and had received bids OVER 15k for a new sewer lateral to be installed. I asked some colleagues who they would recommend and many came back and said In Demand Plumbing...I gave Jeff and call and he showed up, gave me 3 bids (varing in amount of work to be done) and when I called him to discuss the 3 options I said Jeff if this was your home what would you do? He advised me to take the least expensive option! He also saw that I had 20 feet of broken plumbing under my house and offered to fix it - INCLUDED in the cost of the sewer repair!!! He found a 2nd leak under my house and fixed that too - I never even received a phone call - he just took care of the issue! Work was to be started on Tues and completed end of day Thurs. He finished this Thurs AM ahead of schedule. I will send all of my clients to In Demand Plumbing - Jeff completed the job for 1/3 of what I was originally quoted! He has a client for life now!!! THANK YOU JEFF. One last thing...Jeff also contacted my neighbors and my tenant to introduce himself and tell them the scope of the work that was going to be started and completed. I like Jeff, his work ethic and abitity to get the job done right for the right price!

Bob has done work for me on multiple occasions.  He has fixed toilets, unclogged stubborn drains, determined the source of leaking water in my home, replaced a kitchen faucet.  He shows up on time, calls to confirm, does great work.  His prices are very reasonable.

We needed a gas line installed to our fireplace.  Wilver clearly understood and described what needed to be done.  He and his team completed the work quickly and they did a great job.   The price was fair too.  I highly recommend Wilver and Bay Area Plumbing, Rooter and Service.

Mark is still awesome!!  He came to our house on a Sunday and I had a list of jobs ranging from gently removing birds nest to hanging a heavy mirror and removing a sink.  By the way he did everything quickly and did not tie up our whole Sunday waiting on him to finish. He is stellar at what he does and he is fair at what he charges which is so important because I don't want to feel gauged just because my husband may not have time to do these odds and ends jobs or simply just doesn't have the skill.
