Second time using Allstate. Both times received completive pricing, timely completion of service as promised, and courteous employees. Cleared and replaced piping in utility area of garage; and cleared and installed clean-out point to main drain.

I am so impressed with the job that Jorge of Master Plumbing just did for me I feel the need to write a commendation, a first for me on Yelp.  My kitchen sink faucet totally died and was leaking/squirting everywhere, so I called Master Plumbing this morning for help.  Having used them in the past I had in fact recommended Master previously to my HOA Board, and was reassured that had been a good call by today's visit and repair work by Jorge.   He is an outstanding employee - A-Plus in all categories.

First, I was surprised at how fast he appeared at my door after my call.  Don't know if he had to come to San Mateo from Mt. View, but there was no driving time billed.  His professionalism was apparent by the way he assessed the damage and gave me a cost estimate of a new faucet and time to install, and asked for approval to proceed.  I had no hesitation because the estimate seemed quite reasonable (and turned out to be right on).  He worked efficiently and smoothly, obviously knew what he was doing, while at the same time was very courteous and fielded all my questions--very smart fellow, with an excellent work ethic.

Unfortunately my experience with this company was not 5 stars like so many others.  The gentlemen was prompt and courteous to deal with so giving  2 stars for that but really zero stars for not resolving the plumbing leak and fixing what turned out to be a very simple problem.  In summary we had a leak upstairs in the master bathtub.   His solution  made no sense and didnt fix the leak.  Paid for two service calls then finally I figured out the issue . It was the tub drain leaking  that needed reset with plumbers putty.  They wanted to tear out the ceiling below and look for a pipe leak which obviously wasn't there.  Glad I used my own common sense  to figure out a simple problem and minimize the expense.

Nelson Plumbing referred me to Alfred Williams Plumbing for some work I needed done; specifically replacing the water line to the fridge, and fixing a couple of leaky sinks.  

Steve (I think he's the owner of Alfred Williams Plumbing) came out right on time and fixed everything even faster than he predicted he would when he quoted the job.  He did a great job and I would definitely use him again.

Norman did a number of projects for me including kitchen lighting, installing new closet doors, finding and fixing a leak, as well as a couple smaller projects.

Norman was very professional and got all the work done when he said he would.  He seems to care about doing his job well and pleasing his customers.  He sent quotes of the work based on pictures emailed and checking things out in person, and the final cost matched the quote.

I plan on using Norman for future projects and would recommend him to anyone needing a handyman.

When I bought my home there was a quote for the sewer lateral already provider from Avalon, I gave Will a call and he was super friendly and helpful, he got everything going and organized when his folks would come and complete the work, they came, got everything certified with no issues at all, all round a great experience.

This is the small business family man that you want to give all your money to. Matt is amazingly fast and quick! Defintiely is patient and concerning, making sure everything is explained. I had a water heater that was on is way out, 16 years old. Matt looked it at it, called my home warranty company, it was seamless. Old one was out and new one in record time. He even made sure it was up to code as the previous relief pipe was not to today's standard. Defintiely having Matt come out for all my other plumbing needs. A whole house filtration system is next!

I found my sewer pipe (crawl space) under the kitchen was ruptured and disconnected, then the second day I called a contractor to give me an estimate. The contractor came and suggested to cut the wall in order to fix the sewer pipe, and his estimated cost was very high and was way over my expectation.  So, I called American Home Plumbing Service in the same day and  left a voice message. Less than a hour, I got a call back from Raheb and he said he will come shortly.   Rabeb arrived on time, and went into the crawl space. When he came back,  he gave me a new approach that does not need to cut the wall.  And the price is great and fair.  As I myself went to my crawl space as well to take a look,  Raheb's approach was perfectly matching my expectation.

Three days later, Raheb arrived on time and fixed the problem quickly and professionally.  Not only fixing my sewer pipe as planned, he also gave me a good advice about how to handle the wet spot in the crawl space.  His advice is very useful and probably saves me over a thousand dollar of restoration service.   Compared with the first contractor, you can tell the first one is just about making money from you, and Raheb is really about solving your problem efficiently.  I am sure that I will go with Raheb again if I have any plumbing service.  Raheb is great!

oly, the plumber is a darling guy, who explains what he's going to do and kept me posted on what's going on.  he explained everything he did, so i could understand what was wrong, etc.

and their price is reasonable and they give a senior discount.  bless them; this senior needs all the help she can get :)

Great service, great selection of plumbing supplies, knowledgable and helpful staff, local mom and pop shop. This place is a gem.

We recently had a cracked pipe under the house and due to the nature of the leak we needed to get someone out ASAP. We called around and received several quotes. In addition we called Darrel. He told us due to loss time that he would not come out and give us a quote but that he would do the job right and fair. He quoted his hourly rate; which seemed standard. His confidence in his ability to do the work and do it right won us over for the job.

We made the appointment and not only was he there on time but early, granted I am sure we were the first job of the day but great professionalism. Upon arriving at the location of our crack he told us that the person that originally did the job was sloppy and that he would make the situation better. Not only did he fix the pipe, but he did it faster than the originally estimated time to fix, he was the most affordable and knowledgeable of the people we spoke with.

I hope that we never have plumbing issues again, I will say he will be the first person we call for all of our plumbing needs.

These guys are the bomb!!!  They showed up when they said they would, gave me great advice, stuck in there when the job got tough and followed through with integrity.  Ben was professional and kept a great attitude despite some setbacks that weren't his fault.  Great service and integrity.

Best customer service around, I would give Jeff more stars if possible. Jeff seems to always answer his phone. He provides pictures of his work while doing the job and when finished. He has completed two jobs for me now without me even being on site. He would respond to me via text and photos. When the job was complete, I would just call him with a credit card. Absolutely amazing, I just wish more businesses ran like this!

Bob has been a hero on two plumbing emergencies. He is responsive, honest and will look out for other issues. Look no further if you are looking for quality, fair rate, no-nonsense upselling and friendly service.

The water pressure was way too high at my new home so I reached out to Everclear plumbing through a recommendation from a friend. Bart, the owner, came out the next day to take a look. His estimate was reasonable compared to others I received so we asked him to do the work. He installed a pressure regulator at the incoming line in about 1 hour and we were able to tell the difference right away - water was no longer exploding out of our faucets.
He also checked my water heater to make sure it was in good condition and found that the expansion tank was not functioning. He patiently explained to me the importance of this part to overall health of my pipes. After the discussion, he actually headed over to home depot to pick up a new expansion tank and replaced it for me. I was impressed with Bart's easy manner, clean work, and general care he employs that I wound up recommending his services to my neighbor across the street. I believe he's now the go-to plumber for a few of us on my street.

I wish I could give 6 stars! Mark was absolutely amazing. He did jobs the right way - not cutting any corners and doing quality work that would last. He did a myriad of small to medium projects around our new house, and all had spectacular results. He was supremely pleasant to be around. We will definitely be using him again in the future. I highly recommend him!
