Update: Fuse was very receptive about my negative experience, and offered a refund which I really appreciated. They have been very responsive otherwise, and it may have been related to technology issues at the time.

This is the first time I have ever wrote a negative yelp review, but I had a really poor experience with this company so I thought it might be useful for others. One positive thing about them is that they are truly very responsive and polite on the phone. Our heat had not been working and our washing machine was leaking. I called to see if they could help with both these issues, and I was told they would charge $200 for the diagnosis and would apply this to the repair. The diagnosis was not helpful. They said that we would need to call a plumber for help with the washing machine, and that our water boiler is broken (which we ALREADY knew).

It's been 2 weeks, and I have still not gotten an estimate. I've had to call back 6 times, JUST for someone to email me an estimate on a repair or for replacing with dustless heating. It's been extremely frustrating. I requested a refund if they cannot give me an estimate, but I am not sure if they will give me that. Every time I call asking for an estimate, they say they will email it tonight. We confirmed that they have the correct email address. I was surprised that so many people gave positive reviews. I'm glad others had good experiences, but we are calling someone else now to fix our heating.

We reached out to Jack to add recess lighting in our living room. Jack and his partner did an incredible job and I'm very happy with the final outcome. We had contacted a few other electricians but they refused because of our wooden ceiling. Jack and his team did an incredible job. The cutting in the wood was precise and no damage was done. He also took precautions to make sure the floor did not get dirty/ damaged while they were working.

The entire communication with him was smooth and easy! I highly recommend his work. You won't be disappointed.

We had mike replace our fluorescent under-cabinet lighting with some new LED units in our kitchen.   He showed up on time, got the job done with some good problem solving in adapting to existing wiring, paid attention to detail and made sure we were satisfied.  The price was right for us.  I would call Mike again without question.

Words cannot express how happy we are with the phenomenal service and results we received from General Electric Services (Edwin and Hormus). We recently moved to San Jose and spent about two weeks trying to find the perfect electrician for the job. We came across GES and scheduled an appointment; they arrived early and were able to give us a quote and schedule our appointment for installation within 30 minutes! We had recessed lights, recessed outlets, smart switches, ceiling fans and a chandelier installed. They were very very professional, clean, friendly and courteous. We truly had a 5 star experience!

My townhouse was built in the 80's.  Over the past 17yrs I've had several shorts occur (a receptacle melted, a switch burned up and a wirenut melted)  The breakers never tripped.  I assume it was faulty receptacles,  switches or connections in gang box in the wall.  I had another short a few days ago and and could not locate it myself.  I called a electrician I knew (who does commercial) and was referred to David Electric.  I called left a message and Albert called me back quickly.  He came out the next day he was on time and ready to work.  As soon as he opened the door on my breaker panel, he told me it was a major fire hazard and needed to be replaced.  The panel was known to not trip a breaker when it should and thus wires in the house get hotter and hotter in an overload situation until there is a failure - just like I had multiples times in the past.  I later looked up the details on the panel (Zinsco GTE-Sylvania) and found many reputable sources and news articles indicating the breaker panel had been recalled/pulled from market in 1984 (4 years after my home was built) and was a major fire hazard.  Albert quoted me $1500 to replace the panel with my choice of Siemens or GE panels labor, parts, and tax all-in. (I looked up pricing and in the Silicon Valley that is a fair price.) Permit was all set. He even offered to do the online application for the permit. He then proceeded to find where the short was and gave me a very good quote for that too.  He spent 2 hours searching and troubleshooting, including working in the attic.  The repair took another hour in the attic and about 30 mins rewiring two sets of switches in the primary bedroom. (troubleshooting, new wire, materials and repair $380)   He noted I had a freezer in the garage and offered to put a new dedicated circuit GFCI receptacle in for that which would reduce future break trips as my garage and primary bedroom were all (unfortunately) on one circuit and thus spread the load out. (new receptacle location parts and labor $160).  

David was friendly and very respectful of my home.  He was neat and clean, cleaning up after himself.  He communicated with me and answered my questions.  I did ask for an estimate and he gave me numbers via text message which was fine.  He did give me detailed written invoices.  He communicated via text message quickly and clearly. His pricing is very fair based on what I saw in the marketplace and I have no doubts that his work was to code and done very well and professionally.   He's a nice guy and just wants to do a good job.  I would absolutely call Albert and David Electric back if I need any further electrical work.   I'm so happy with his work, I'll be recommending him to my Homeowners Association as we have 10 other townhouses with the same dangerous breaker panels.

I want to start by thanking Mike for his upmost professionalism during this process. When I started vetting contractors for our job (recessed lighting) I was met with some push back from other contractors and also some downright rudeness. Mike took the time out of his busy schedule to come look at the project and give me a fair quote on the job. Him and his team came over and worked though some tough situations due to the way our home was built, 1977 build. He explained everything along the way and kept me in the loop before he did anything extra. My wife and I are extremely please with the job done, and would recommend this crew to anyone. We have more project coming in the future, and these guys will 100% be our first and only call! Thanks Mike and Team! You both went above and beyond the job to get things done. Cheers!

Over this past Christmas weekend I received a call from one of my distressed tenants who had no light in their living room and hall-- and their alarm was beeping. After struggling to find someone who could help fix this issue I ran across Tri-Phase Electric's yelp page. I called Mike and left a message thinking that I'd never hear back since it was a holiday weekend. But just a little while later I got a call from Mike. He couldn't make me any promises because of course he had family plans that day (Christmas Eve). To my surprise he was able to get over there and get the issue resolved very quickly and make my Tenant's Christmas --(and mine too) a whole lot more comfortable. 5 Stars for Tri-Phase Electric and Mike!!

Gary did an amazing job installing a wall charger for us. To help me figure out the best plan, he visited first to look at the site, the panels we have in place, and explained to me the pros and cons of a few different options. The job was completed in a timely and professional manner, including patching the wall. Really appreciate his patience and communication - not only get the job done but do it in the best way for the customer. Highly recommended!

Richard has done multiple jobs for us, he is always responsive, gets there quickly and follows through.  He put in an extra circuit and plugs in our kitchen when we had a problem with blowing a circuit breaker if we had more than 2 appliances on.  He has also worked for several of my landscaping clients with their outdoor electrical needs.  We trust him and he has always been timely and fair.  Highly rated.

These guys are great to work with. Been doing a small remodel and need some electrical help. Came across coastwide while they were working on a neighbors house. They stopped by gave a very reasonable quote then told me they would call me as soon as they freed up to schedule. Sure enough, a few days later they called and in a few hours had our master bath all wired and working. They are great to work with.

Ted & his crew saved us from an unsafe electrical situation left by a solar company. They installed a new mast, new main panels, new subpanels, afci breakers, and fixed some illegal circuits left by the solar guys. They were on the job for about 7 days, so I really got to know them. They are professional, honest, and do excellent work. I actually crawled and went up in the attic to double check everything myself and found no issues. The city inspector gave Ted a very hard time, but Ted kept his cool and we passed all inspections the first time.

Wesley and his wife are prompt, experienced, fairly priced, and have great customer service.  Highly recommend them.

They response very quickly for scheduling and  fixing my power issue at home.  But The cost for solving the issue is expensive. I probably can find someone else to solve it with lower cost.

Overall, I will still recommend it if you have to solve issue in short time period.
