Our water heater in our duplex started making funny noises around 5 pm. By 5:45 I was on Thumbtack, and by 6 pm Alex from SAV Services had contacted me and said he could be here by 6:30. He was on time and ready to work. Our ancient water heater was dead - I knew it before he got here. We decided to replace both water heaters in the duplex, and Alex gave us a reasonable quote and went out then to get the 2 water heaters. He was back and at work and by 10 pm we had hot water again and 2 working new water heaters installed and up to code finally. Thank you Alex! Fantastic job!!

Billy came out the same day I called, to investigate a leak that I thought was underground.  He was able to determine that there was no underground leak (thank goodness), and gave me some suggestions for tracking down the leak inside the house...of course leaving the door open to call back if I need to.  Always good to find someone who will tell you straight up that you don't need to spend any money :)

Billy was friendly, prompt and professional.  I will absolutely call again when I  need a plumber.

Ivan and his crew just came over and replaced a leaking water heater at my house.  His price was not only the best among all the other quotes I got, but the water heater (Bradford/White) they used was the same brand.   Their price included the fixings that other companies would nickel and dime you for, and still came out cheaper.

On top of that, during the work, I found out his company did service work for a huge search company in the area (does not start with a Y), and I actually knew the folks he works for when at that job-site.    This was a boost as I know that company's folks would not put up with shoddy work.

They arrived on-time, checking in with me a few times to let me know they're running a little late, and they drained my water heater, replaced my rigid pipes with flex-hose and explained to me every little thing they did.  They also gave me a tutorial as to how to use my water heater and finally used a intuit gopay dongle to process my payment.

All in all, I highly recommend using them for any plumbing related issues you have.  At least give them a call to quote it out.  You'll be pleasantly surprised.

One note:  do not purchase the coupon you see available for this company as that coupon is only for drain cleanings.  It does not say on the coupon, but don't think its just a service coupon that you can use for anything.   Still, 95 dollars for a drain cleaning only buys you a couple of bottles of draino's so its not a bad deal and your drains will need cleaning eventually, so even if you bought it, I'd think about keeping it around for when your drains do clog.

The tenant at my mother's place had a toilet problem and I had to find a plumber for the first time in this area. I called three places, and these folks came through with no hassle at a reasonable price. They came early in the 2 hour window and we had no problems arranging payment so I did not have to be present. The other big national chain had online appointment template that didn't work and their estimate was more than double what Allen & Sons charged.

Everything I needed when my old hot water heater started leaking. Juan was exceptionally professional as he explained and discussed in detail what options- tankless vs. tank, costs, including additional piping and permits that might be required. He advised me without upsale as I live on SSDI. The price was fair and exact with no hidden fees. He used higher quality straps and a pan that hadn't existed before. I'm highly recommend this business.

I definitely recommend the Ye Olde Handyman. He has a lot of knowledge about so many things when it come to the repairs you need. I first used Ye Olde Handyman to install electrical for my new hot tub. Ye Olde Handyman has also taken care of the repairs of rotted roof along with the removal of the chimney. Now that the roof is patched any chimney gone time to have him tear out the fire place and patch the floor.

Had a leak issue and a non working faucet. David came out and immediately he gave you that comfortable feel because he was going to take care of everything. Also, so much more knowledgeable than most. Really personable and gave excellent customer service.

I was having an issue with our washing machine backing up into the bath tub and then the bath tub not draining.  Kevin arrived on time and was very professional throughout his time working in the house.  He wore a mask and shoe protectors and nicely folded my bathroom rugs and put his own work mat down.  Snaked the drain thoroughly and then cleaned up after himself, replacing my rugs when finished.
I'd highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing service.  I've definitely got his card at the top of my stack now!

You've just hit the plumbing jackpot. Look no further, Johnny is plumber supreme! We've used him about four times and each time he has been impeccably excellent. He's hyper careful, hyper responsive, hyper professional. He's replaced two toilets, four faucets, and a shower head, and has taken care of a very clogged toilet. He picked up the toilet from the store for us, he covers his shoes when inside, he responds to texts extremely quickly. He is the plumber you want. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A dank smell led to every home owners dread.  A spraying pipe under the house!  Sure enough there was water everywhere and of course it was late in the evening. Reed Plumbing responded quickly via Yelp system and by early AM I was in the schedule for that same day!  The team of Pepe and Daniel were nice,  dead center of their time window and explained the issue clearly.  They made it under the house in a space that was small to me,  but some how they did it!  They were efficient and made the repair quickly. No wasted time on a per hour job!  Now I know I have a first choice for some non emergency, nice to have home plumbing touch ups.    Thank you Reed Plumbing!

Our toilet was clogged because my son dropped a plastic toy in it and flushed. Pinged Gator router and plumbing on yelp, they were the only plumber to reply with a detailed quote. That much to do snake, that much to remove the toilet. I really appreciated that they did not need to show up on my house just to give me a quote. They arrived on time as agreed, did the snake, did not work, and then removed the toilet, found the toy then put it all back. They were done in 1h, walking me through the whole process. Paid what was quoted, and was super happy. Amazing service, will call again.

On a Thursday night, our shower handle stopped working -- while the faucet was on! We had to shut off the water to the entire house to stop the bathtub from overflowing. The handle had gotten slightly harder to use over the previous couple of nights but didn't think it was noteworthy until we couldn't turn the water off.

I called a plumbing service and it took them over 30 minutes to call back and say they couldn't come out. Then I called 5 of the top plumbing services in the Palo Alto area. Art was the only person who answered. He came out the same night and installed a replacement part. We were able to turn our water back on. Then he came back and performed follow up work to prevent the original issue from resurfacing over time. Super friendly, communicated clearly throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Art both in emergencies (higher rate outside of normal hours, obviously) and for regular repairs.

Yes, I have stuck with Palo Alto Plumbing now for 4 years. They have been so good, and reliable. They have done A/C work, furnace, pipes, fixtures and all the work has been good and I do not think I have ever been overcharged except when I called them on Thanksgiving (they came in 30 minutes!) but they told me how much it would cost - and it was worth it. Highly recommend.

J Fisher was referred to me by another plumber. I ways very impressed with their response and their knowledge. Jim was sent to my house to replace some Kohler faucet parts. Jim was knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. I was quoted one hour and he was finished in exactly one hour. I highly recommend these guys - they are now go-plumbers!

I don't believe I ever made a bad review about a company that I was involved with. This plumbing company is in the list of certified contractors of American Home Shield, my home warranty company,  that they sent to look at my stoppage on my kitchen sewer line to the main line after paying $100. They did the usual snake process twice and reported that they found mud on the snake and requested AHS the use a camera to find the problem. AHS did not approve it saying it was my responsibility since it's not part of my contract. It was an emergency so I contacted another plumbing company, Gasca Plumbing, who did the identical procedure and they were able to clear the stoppage. They went down the crawl space to inspect and found my sewer pipe intact.
The report that Rock's Plumbing wrote to AHS was there was a SLAB LEAK. How can there be a slab leak if my house is NOT built on a SLAB but rather have a crawl space. I read a consumer review about Rocky's and some one advice that check on their license if it is active.

Called BFP, via their 800 number that advertises 24/7 emergency services, on a Friday night. I tell them i need a plumber to come by and install a new toilet and toilet flange. The Old one was wobbly and water started leaking from the base.

The person on the line said they can have someone out on Sunday from 10am to 2pm. Kinda odd that it would be (3) days for emergency work. She did say it was pretty busy after the holidays and i have a spare bathroom i can use anyways, so i agreed to the appointment. I gave her my name, address, cell phone number and email address. She said she would be sending me a confirmation email shortly. Never arrived. Please note that during the call, i ask her a few times that it will be on sunday from10 to 2.

Sunday comes around and i wait all day for the plumber... No one shows up or calls to inform that no one is arriving. So now i am scrambling to find a plumber.

I finally find someone that is local and schedules work to be done on Tuesday. While i am at a dentist appointment on Monday, someone from BFP calls and leaves a voicemail that they have a plumber in the area and they can be there at 11am.

Hmmm, my appointment was for Sunday from 10am to 2 pm and they call the next day and say they can come by.... Sorry buddy, a no show / no call on Sunday, there is no way i am going to trust what you say anymore....

Wish i could leave ( 0 ) stars instead because no work was done.
