Thanks Adrian and Angel!  I don't have to write much - the other 5-star reviews say it all and I fully support them - excellent work.  Adrian and his colleague, Angel, are prompt, courteous, professional, and skilled.  I would recommend Dependable Water Heaters to anyone needing water heater installation (replacement) or repair or general plumbing work.   I was very pleasantly surprised by the prompt response, fairness of price, and keeping me informed of progress.  I have every confidence that should a repair be needed they'll be back to fix it promptly.  Very highly recommended.

Some details for those who want more... My water heater burst on Tuesday evening (fortunately I was at home and able to control the problem) and I called Adrian early on Wednesday morning based on Yelp reviews (my original installer was no longer operating).  He asked me to send a txt msg with a photo of the water heater installation.  A few minutes after I sent it, he called with a couple of clarification questions and a request for a photo of the tank label showing the model number.  Shortly thereafter, he texted back with a very affordable price and scheduled a convenient time to perform the work.  He and Angel turned up when they said they would.  Quickly removed the old tank and replaced it in just over an hour.   Fantastic!

Our water heater in our duplex started making funny noises around 5 pm. By 5:45 I was on Thumbtack, and by 6 pm Alex from SAV Services had contacted me and said he could be here by 6:30. He was on time and ready to work. Our ancient water heater was dead - I knew it before he got here. We decided to replace both water heaters in the duplex, and Alex gave us a reasonable quote and went out then to get the 2 water heaters. He was back and at work and by 10 pm we had hot water again and 2 working new water heaters installed and up to code finally. Thank you Alex! Fantastic job!!

Total plumbing service was a pleasure to work with! I contacted them through yelp and William responded to me very fast. They were even able to reschedule my appointment in very short notice. They were upfront about what they needed to do. Their technician Roberto was very patient with me and took his time to answer any question i had. I appreciate them being very convenient to work with at a very fair cost.

Second time I've used Plumb Tech and very happy with their service. I called them yesterday (Sunday) stating that my water heater was leaking. They came out as promised this morning and replaced it. A friend told me to use Bradford White brand which is what Plumb Tech brought. Coy was very courteous and cleaned up the leak as well as left the area clean. I definitely recommend using Plumb Tech for all plumbing needs.

We love Tyler and his dad. These guys are super honest and hard working. We've used them before for a huge and insane leak that we had. Tyler was upfront and honest with us about the cost, and was able to fix it. Simple and straightforward. We tried to use him to replace a water heater for us, but again, he was upfront and honest with us about how at the moment, he just couldn't do it because they simply didn't have the manpower to do it. We called other places and ended up getting ripped off (ahem, expert plumbing) and they tried to rip us off on a sink repair too. I called Tyler practically in tears since I was about 5 days away from having a baby, and he actually recommended I call the manufacturer and use the warranty on the sink. Expert plumbing actually first told me that a sink repair would be $395 but as a *favor*, they'd only charge us $190 PLUS the cost of the parts. I am SO glad I called Tyler and told the other guys just to forget it. Because of Tyler recommending me calling Hans Grohe, we got FREE replacement parts and he installed it for us only the cost of the service fee (which was only $125). It's hard to find an honest plumber in town, and George Allen and Sons are a gem. They have our business for life!

We had issues with our back shower and front shower, every six months had some kind of back up.  We contacted NG and they assessed what needed to be done and they were on time, reliable and very upfront with what they were going to do.  We had to have 60 feet of old corrosive pipe replaced and their pricing was very fair and they got it done in one day!  They also replaced out toilet in our back shower.  Please give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Our Andersen bathroom window, awning type, needed a new crank operator.  Besides the parts which we were able to order, there was a tricky operation involving a 36 in. piece of trim wood.  Nick was familiar with the problem we were facing and was able to remove and replace this fragile piece of wood as part of exchanging the old operator parts with the new ones.  His work was clean and efficient.  I highly recommend Nick both for jobs he has done before (there are many types) and ones that he has to learn how to do freshly.  If you have a household problem, call Ye Olde Handyman!

One morning which I thought was going to be a easy day, turned out to be one of worst I went to use my toilet and it started over filling and would not stop !!! Simply green was one of the first people I called they were so professional and definitely first responders !! Anyways long story short they fixed my problem re assured me with warranty and overall a great experience. I will Always use them. They are and should be YOUR plumbers for LIFE.

I was having an issue with our washing machine backing up into the bath tub and then the bath tub not draining.  Kevin arrived on time and was very professional throughout his time working in the house.  He wore a mask and shoe protectors and nicely folded my bathroom rugs and put his own work mat down.  Snaked the drain thoroughly and then cleaned up after himself, replacing my rugs when finished.
I'd highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing service.  I've definitely got his card at the top of my stack now!

The things that made my experience with Citywide Plumbing great:
- my phone call was answered by the service provider (not a 3rd party answering service or a machine)
- I received a quote over the phone
- was able to get a same day appointment and Johnny arrived on time
- Johnny put on shoe covers before entering our home and without being prompted to!
- Johnny was friendly and efficient (and of course, successful in clearing the kitchen sink drain)
- as a bonus, he noted that the garbage disposal and dishwasher hose were not ideally situated and proactively addressed those

Really great experience.  Smooth and easy process, very responsive (called 4p, done next day), very friendly, called with updates about when they would arrive.  Friendly.  Wore masks.  Fast, efficient and professional service.  I used them for a water heater replacement.  Extremely good price on the service, and they took care of the warranty claim on my original one.  Will absolutely call them the next time I have plumbing needs.

Our toilets were overflowing Wednesday night, I reached out for quotes through yelp.  Gator Rooter was one of the first to respond on yelp and call me Thursday morning. Nestor came 20-30ish mins after calling me. He used the camera which he quoted 250 to see what the root of the problem was.  He saw toilet paper waded up like paste and then went out to check the pipes under our home. After inspecting the pipes he showed us pictures of corrosion of the steel pipes and leakage. He suggested we repipe to fix the the leakages and pluming all together. He quoted us a little over 6k and we all agreed on 6K. Nestor went for parts and started before his team of two (who looked really young though - I am no ageist but hope they were part of Gator Rooter as they were not in uniform as Nestor was which is bit of concern). My husband had though he had asked him the pipes are going to be replaced by the same style pipes which were steel but he ended up saying no - maybe miscommunication in the original conversation. They were replaced with plastic pipes which he reassured us are best and being used everywhere and should last more than 20-30 years (we really hope this is true as we are no experts). When they were down there fixing they noticed another part that for the toilets (toilet connection and it was rusty and old) that were a issue and suggested we replaced he confirmed he could do it for a additional 600, he did both toilets. All in all Nestor was profession, showed us pictures, kept us informed, worked diligently and checked every toilet, sinks and showers to ensure everything was working great before leaving. He confirmed he could get the job done by 6 or 7pm, he was almost exact he was done and left around 6:22ish (very impressed)! Nestor gave us his personal card should we need anything additional in the future, which we certainly will. I would recommend Gator /Nestor to my family and friends!! Thanks Nestor and Gator team!!

I had a small leak in my irrigation line. I was messaging with Adu around 4pm, and he came over that night and worked on repairing it. Ended up coming back the next day to finish. Great service!

On a Thursday night, our shower handle stopped working -- while the faucet was on! We had to shut off the water to the entire house to stop the bathtub from overflowing. The handle had gotten slightly harder to use over the previous couple of nights but didn't think it was noteworthy until we couldn't turn the water off.

I called a plumbing service and it took them over 30 minutes to call back and say they couldn't come out. Then I called 5 of the top plumbing services in the Palo Alto area. Art was the only person who answered. He came out the same night and installed a replacement part. We were able to turn our water back on. Then he came back and performed follow up work to prevent the original issue from resurfacing over time. Super friendly, communicated clearly throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Art both in emergencies (higher rate outside of normal hours, obviously) and for regular repairs.

I had an excellent experience with After Hour Plumbing and Drain when the plumber came to fix a clogged sink and a water leak in our kitchen. After contacting several other plumbers, I found his pricing to be very reasonable.

He came in with a 25-foot snake device to clear the sink, but when that didn't work, he quickly brought in a 75-foot snake device and got the job done. He also discovered that the leak was from a poorly sealed ptrap, and he took care of that as well. Overall, I was very impressed with the professionalism and expertise. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled plumber.

I left two messages on their website expressing interest in getting an HVAC quote. I heard nothing. Four days later I followed up again and left a phone message expressing interest in receiving a quote. I never heard back!  If you had a service issue, I'm not sure they would respond.... keep looking. These folks are terrrible!

Josh is fantastic! I've had him/his team put in plumbing for a new shower and come out to fix a leaking kitchen sink faucet (separate occasion). As others have said, the fees are quite reasonable. I also appreciate that he and Jim are both on time, and that Josh is quite communicative, whether by email or text (and probably by phone, but I didn't try that). I can't imagine looking for another plumber now that I've found these guys!

I had a great experience with Rocky's Plumbing and Rooter.  A previous company had left me in a terrible situation and unhooked my hot water tank, leaving me with no heat. Rocky's came out and diagnosed the problem again, got my heat started and made a follow up appointment to do minor repairs. I am with American Home Shield and he worked with them to get my water heater working but didn't try to upsell me on a costly replacement when it wasn't needed.  He advised me on what to look for and when it would need to be replaced.  I will definitely be calling Rocky's Plumbing and Rooter for all of my future plumbing needs.  I found them easy to work with, reliable and quick to respond, plus great service at excellent prices.  And very efficient at working with my home warranty coverage which is most important since that's what I'm paying for to not have these costly repairs.

One word for them - Terrible. I called them a day ahead to setup an appointment for my kitchen sink faucet.. They gave me 3 hour window from 2-5PM the next day. Right then I was impressed at first at how prompt they were.

Then the next day I took my afternoon off from work from 2-5PM and came home to wait for them to show up. In the middle of this timing window provided by them, their office calls me up saying that they can't send anyone over for the next 2 days because some of their guys didn't show up.

What I'm disgusted about is not even that they could not send someone over for an appointment they agreed on, but that they waited till during the timing window, wasted my day and then bailed on me.

I would give them 0 stars if i could.
