Our electrical connection on the weather mast from roof to PGE connection exploded on Friday night.  I contacted Raphael through Yelp and he responded right away so I called him.  He was able to come to our home to give us a free quote and explained everything in detail clearly.  We hired him after talking to a few other electricians.  When it was time to do the work, Raphael helped me every step of the way to get a permit and to contact PGE for reconnection.  He was available by text and phone call and responded quickly.  Would definitely hire him again for other work around our house.

I took a chance and contacted Araz Electric to install two new 120v outlets. Elvin got me back promptly with a reasonable estimate, and we set a day for him to come over to install the outlets. Overall, the experience was quite pleasant. Elvin took his time to install the outlets and did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, during the installation, he noticed I had a faulty outlet with his tester, which we replaced. I'd use them again for my future projects.

The outlets went out in the house. I tried resetting the breaker without success. This occurred on a Sunday which meant limited options and typically higher costs. I contacted CA Electrical Group who responded quickly and were at the house within a few hours. The electrician immediately diagnosed and resolved the problem.  He was not only highly skilled and efficient but a good communicator and provided helpful information. At the end of the call, he insisted there would be no charge due to the fact that he was able to resolve the problem so quickly. I was not only highly appreciative but pleased to know that such customer oriented business practices still exist in today's market. Highly recommended. Will definitely use again.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

I got my bidet installed through them. They were quick and reliable. Even though they did not have timeslot available they were able to make it between appointments. The handyman also removed their shoes before stepping into the household. Definitely recommend them. They also gave the lowest price estimate.

Got an electric vehicle so I needed a charger installed. Ed was extremely quick at getting back to me, answered a bunch of my questions, and gave me a great quote. Then he was patient with my schedule and a shipping delay of the charger and still got everything installed quickly...and it works great! Highly recommended!

Contacted Right Away Electric (Jonathan) to get a quote on adding 2 to 3 new electrical lines for a master bath renovation.  He responded to my request for a quote promptly and was able to get out the same morning to see the work site.  Meeting him went very well - he was prompt, courteous, professional, honest, and gave me a good idea what the work would entail.  By that afternoon, I had his quote in hand and gave him the green light go go ahead.  He was flexible with the start date (I moved it out from a Monday to a Tuesday and he accommodated with no problem).  Tuesday morning came around and he was early to start at the agreed time (great!).  Working efficiently, he did the job as discussed and even went ahead and helped wire one of the lines to be optionally 240V - something I had thought about but wasn't fully sure.  With his expert help, I can now run 120V or 240V depending on my future needs.  Very satisfied with his work, his diligence, attention to detail, responsiveness, and courteous demeanor.  I wish Jonathan all the luck in growing his business and look forward to calling upon him again in the future.  Thanks!

Excellent work ..very professional and polite and worked efficiently and made very good recommendations for the types of lights to be used based on the layout of my rooms and also for the electrical work on the outside of my house and garage. They kept their masks on all day when working and always checked with me on the placement of each fitting and brought quality material fixtures. I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

We asked for an estimate to install a ceiling fan.  Set a date and it was installed correctly and to our liking.  Great service, we will be using their services again soon.

We've been shopping around for an electrician to install an outlet for our new electric vehicle based on recommendations and were getting a lot of run-around with filling out forms online and talking over the phone with different people about estimates/what they think can be done based on our wiring configuration. We were getting outrageous quotes compared to what we had expected from reading/researching online so we decided to expand our search.

We found Penguin Electric on Yelp and decided to give them a try since they're local. As soon as we contacted Roman, he immediately responded and offered to come on-site to check out our house - I was shocked as no other electrician had offered this option!

Throughout the entire process, Roman was very responsive, straight-forward, and accommodating. He gave us a very reasonable quote for the job so we decided to go with him. We are SO glad we found him - will definitely call him again in the future if we ever need an electrician!

This company is brilliant. Blew the electricity on a Sunday at 1pm, sent message and got contacted within the hour. Gave me advice on how to fix issue over the phone for free. Well that didn't work so they sent a guy and he fixed it in ten minutes. Very inexpensive, friendly, punctual, helpful people, guy that came to the house was brilliant, a rare commodity these days, everything about this was a first class experience I'd recommend without hesitation

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. We had to body slam our front door to get it to close. Once the wood started to chip away and the screw heads started to get shaved off, I reached out to Chuck to get it fixed ASAP. Chuck texted with me to learn as much as possible about the problem to save time. He worked us in to his busy schedule. Chuck always told us when he was coming, when he arrived, and when he was heading out for the day. Chuck always explained any issues that came up like whether to shave the door on one side or the other and taught me some tricks of the trade too. I felt he was respectful of the time being spent. Courteous, prompt, professional and affordable service. This is the 2nd time we have called upon ECP Electric for home electrical service, the first time for bathroom fan installation, this time to install a ceiling fan. Did I already say how non-annoying Emanual is? He shows up on-time, with a professional attitude rarely seen anymore, especially in younger home-professionals. He gets right to work, cleans-up afterwards and gets it DONE!! Hire Emanual for all of your electrical needs, you will NOT be dissapointed (no, I am not his cousin!!)

During the recent PG&E blackouts in October, my electrical main panel fo my 1955 house was experiencing breaker issues where it interrupted service - it kept tripping on and off.  I called around for an electrician and I finally connected with Henry at California Power & Light.  He came by within 45 minutes after the call and he showed up at 10 PM at night when I told him that I did not have power (my house only).  He was able to assess the problem and he fixed it.  Yay!!!  

I later called Henry back to eventually replaced and upgrade the entire electrical main panel - I had an old panel that didn't support the power output for the home, which I knew when I bought the home in 2015.  Henry was my guy to do the job - he installed an new electrical panel and he also managed with the permit process and final inspection with the City from beginning to end.    

My advice: Unless you're a knowledgeable and certified electrician--don't mess with anything beyond the basics in order to save money or cut corners. For any kind of electrical rewiring, tinkering with an electric panel or installing new fixtures...definitely call a pro.  If you do, then call Henry at California Power & Light.  You won't be disappointed!!!
