Had an emergency with the A/C, and contacted Electricians on Duty, very helpful and quick response.

Araz installed a brand new 200A electrical panel for me. They did quick work with excellent craftsmanship, and Max is a really nice guy. Would definitely use them again.

I had this company installed a EV charger, scheduling was very quick and the work was done within a few hours. It was during the payment processing that things got so bad that I had to take a time off from work to deal with bank issues. Apparently the check was deposited twice to my account, long story short, this company is willing to cover the overpayments made by the bank, you don't see that kind of commitment anywhere but CA Electrical Group is going above and beyond to help me get back financially. Yes theres still this stigma of overpayment that caused a lot of headaches, time lost at work and schedules disrupted. I only hear about this from other people and when it happens to you, its nothing to be laughed at.    
Given that the bank has already started the investigation why overpayments on two identical checks was processed it will still take 7 to 10 business days to determine the why, the who and the what caused this to happen.
I despise how banks are slow to process claims whether its a credit card dispute or checking issue, but today i take back those assumptions back when my Bank credited the overpayment back to my account, while they continue to investigate this incident.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

Jamil and his crew are outstanding. He knows his stuff, honest and forthright and does a thorough job. I engaged him a few times, once to fix some sagging doors and the second time to put up some industrial racks at my garage. Jamil is clear in communication, timely, does outstanding work and goes out of his way to help beyond what is expected of him. Highly recommend.

I reached out to Ev Charging Solutions on Yelp to get a quote and scheduled an appointment with them right away. Ed was really helpful and made the process really easy! He followed all COVID protocols and made everything safe for us at home. Ed installed a NEMA 14-50 for us and it all came out perfect. He left everything really nice and clean for us and all we had to worry about was plugging in our Tesla to start charging. Thanks so much EV Charging Solutions!

Jonathan was efficient and reasonably priced when installing my nema14-50 outlet. He got the job done in less than an hour from arrival to departure. I would recommend Jonathan for any future Tesla outlet installs.

Gustavo and his team did an amazing job for us. He responded very fast to our consultation request and gave us very reasonable recommendations. They came to get the job done just a few days after our consultation. Besides, while they were working his team were very careful with covering the floors, furnitures, and clean up afterwards.

I highly recommend Moses for electrical work.  We had called many 5 star electricians but most of them were TOO BUSY to provide quote or even start the job.  Moses came in and walk thru the long lists of jobs we need to get done - installing 5 ceiling fans in 5 bedrooms with new wiring, 6 recess lights in the downstairs family room, lighting in the sun room and upfit some lights in the bathroom.  It is a major project especially having to dig holes in the ceiling for recess lights and ceiling fan on the first floor.  Moses was very accommodating and worked with us .  He was very cautious of keeping the place clean.  He is very polite and knowledgeable.  I would definitely use him again for any electrical work and had recommended him many time at our Neighbors app.  Keep up the good work Moses!

Quick response-reliable-installed dimmers and repaired several trouble outlets-good customer service!

Just had Rick from Grover Electric rewire a light switch to handle my Belkin WEMO wireless light switch..  Rick did the job for a reasonable price.  He was very professional and showed up at the appointed time.  I highly recommend Grover Electric. I tried to contact other electricians prior to Grover Electric and they did not return calls or recommended that I call other companies.  I used Yelp to find Grover and I am very happy I did.

I would not even give this company one star if I didn't have to.  Do NOT do business with this company, if they are even in existence anymore.  I made two separate appointments on their own Yelp page, was confirmed for a two hour window both times.  I left work both times and was at home the entire time, both no shows, no call, no anything.  I also left two phone messages asking for a callback and nothing.  This behavior is very unprofessional!  I called another electrician, made an appointment, they arrived at the appointed time and fixed the problem.  Not that difficult.

Very disappointing since the reason we called them in the first place was a good experience the first time we used them.

They did an great job. Well planned and excellent execution. Real experts.
The price is very transparent as well.

I will call them again for other projects

James did such a great job for us earlier this year, I called him about putting in some can lights in our living room.  He came by and looked things over, showed up the next day and got everything installed within 2 hours.  James is great person and very honest, he is my go to guy for home projects.

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. Unbelievably prompt and excellent service. My home's mysterious wiring problem was successfully diagnosed and repaired **within 1.5 hrs of dialing Enrique's number**. And this was not a trivial problem to solve.

If you live in the bay area and have an electrical emergency and you try calling any of the 5-star rated placed on yelp ... you'll get a mix of the following experience:
1. go to voicemail, 50% wont call back
2. goes to receptionist/salesperson and not the electrician who can understand the problem
3. an appointment 5 weeks out if you're lucky.
4. some places will give you the option to get to front of the line for a $150 emergency service fee.

I called Enrique and he picked the phone himself personally. To me that's the first sign of a good small business. I told him I had an electrical wiring problem and needed an appointment. I described the problem to him over the phone, he didn't rush and patiently discussed the problem and asked a bunch of questions to understand the situation. He then described what he thought the problem might be and gave me a quote on the spot. He asked me to text him my address.

15 minutes later I had a text reply back with an ETA of an electrician's arrival IN THE NEXT 30 MINUTES!

He arrived and was able to diagnose the problem in about 20 minutes and fixed it in another 20-30 minutes.

Description of work:
We had our fridge circuit go out the previous night and had to pull it out and plug it elsewhere. Upon closer inspection I found that the circuit wasn't out, rather the voltage on the two outlets was very odd, one outlet was 110v and the other 140v. And when those same outlets, one would drop to 80v and the other would jump to 190v. He spent some time diagnosing the panel and discovered arcing, a few loose connections, and a burnt+disconnected ground on the fridge circuit. He promptly fixed all of it, and explained every step as I was watching, and got everything back in working order.

I hired California Power and Light to replace my old electrical panel.  Henry was great to work with and provided a competitive price.  He showed up on time, was extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable, responsive and organized. He completed the project as promised and I am very pleased with the work he's done.  I will definitely hire him again for other projects in the future.
