Our electrical connection on the weather mast from roof to PGE connection exploded on Friday night.  I contacted Raphael through Yelp and he responded right away so I called him.  He was able to come to our home to give us a free quote and explained everything in detail clearly.  We hired him after talking to a few other electricians.  When it was time to do the work, Raphael helped me every step of the way to get a permit and to contact PGE for reconnection.  He was available by text and phone call and responded quickly.  Would definitely hire him again for other work around our house.

Had Araz Electric install a 50amp EV charger.  It required a long run of 6 gauge wire from the panel at the opposite corner of the house to the front exterior wall.  They were thorough inspecting everything and explaining the options, gave a competitive quote, and the work was done cleanly, keeping the wiring safely in the attic and high up in the garage.  Very happy with the result, would highly recommend.

We've had a longstanding electrical issue and that was quickly evaluated yesterday, much to our relief!  We were also advised that we need to upgrade our panel (I know it to be true and not an upsell).  I will use these folks again as I've added them to my address book for a quick call when needed - and for the panel change!

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

Had several scopes of work that Jamil helped with, started with 2 and grew to 4 projects inside and outside the house (subfloor install, raised header for door, patched wall, repaired exterior fence that was damaged) and all were completed timely. Jamil and his crew are punctual, clean and very respectful of the house.

Would definitely recommend and hire again.

Jumping into the world of EV's and figuring out home charging in an area that doesn't have much public charging options, I'm extremely grateful to have contacted Ed to install my Tesla Wall Connector. Ed was very responsive and full of knowledge when it came to any question I threw at him. Ed's attention to detail and the effort that he puts into his installs is amazing. He made sure that the install was as clean and minimal as possible.

Moises was very responsive, professional and reasonable.

The job was to run electrical from our main panel through underground PVC pipe and hooked up to our shed. From there he had to install a junction box as well as a weatherproof outlet for our sprinkler control panel.

In addition, Moises and his crew also installed a dozen exterior light fixtures around the house as well as 3 ring cameras.

All went very smoothly.  And even the small mistakes were corrected super fast and without conflict.  I would highly recommend Tari electric.

We've been shopping around for an electrician to install an outlet for our new electric vehicle based on recommendations and were getting a lot of run-around with filling out forms online and talking over the phone with different people about estimates/what they think can be done based on our wiring configuration. We were getting outrageous quotes compared to what we had expected from reading/researching online so we decided to expand our search.

We found Penguin Electric on Yelp and decided to give them a try since they're local. As soon as we contacted Roman, he immediately responded and offered to come on-site to check out our house - I was shocked as no other electrician had offered this option!

I found Grover Electric on YELP and was impressed with the reviews.  I had an issue with the kitchen lights and gave Rick a call.  Rick was very professional on the phone.  Since his schedule was full, he asked if he could send his assistant Pepe, which was fine.  Pepe arrived and immediately found the problem.  He gave me a quote and I decided to go ahead with the repair.  Pepe was very knowledgeable and did a great job. We had lost power in half our home. I called AY EMP and Andrew was able to come by our place the same day. Not only did he find the problem within an hour , he was able to remedy the problem and run to the hardware store to grab us a new part. His quote was really reasonable and he saved the day for us.

I contacted James to address an obviously defective light switch after reading the positive comments on this forum, and everyone was right on. Even though today is his day off, when he heard my descriptions about the electrical problem, he gave me his rates over the phone and was at my location the same day. He explained what he was doing and why as he worked - very knowledgable and professional and comes prepared to minimize running out to get materials.  Also pays alot of attention to details as he puts things back together - very much appreciated because I didn't have to say anything - James just took care of it. Awesome!

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. We hired chuck to increase the voltage for the transformer going to our doorbell to support a smart doorbell (Nest Hello). He was able to come out the same day we called and complete the job the same day. I had a serious problem with an old breaker panel that was causing regular unexplained electric problems. A highly qualified licensed electrician explained the solution clearly and provided a very reasonable estimate. He replaced the entire panel, all of the breakers (a number of which were in danger of causing a fire by not operating as necessary), showed me all of the replaced and damaged parts, cleaned up all of the messy wiring, installed new LED lighting in our garage, and left only after cleaning all of the mess beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this outstanding professional for even your most complex problems and/or new installations.

I ran into Henry and his team this morning by accidents in my neighborhood while he was on his way to meet his client. So happy to have talked to him. 20 minutes later, he was at my place, diagnosing the inconsistent fixture issues, which apparently another household in the community was having the same problem, proposed a solution with a very reasonable pricing. The crew showed up on time, were very polite, worked on the project efficiently, and cleaned up nicely when they finished the job. Henry was also at my house in the end to ensure everything was carried out as planned.  Also, they all wore masks and were very respectful to the household environment given that we currently work from home with virtual work meetings. Thanks Henry and team again for providing such great work. The house looks more beautiful now that the lighting/energy temperature is consistent throughout!
