Had an emergency with the A/C, and contacted Electricians on Duty, very helpful and quick response.

Elvin helped to install an EV charger. His team also helped with securing city permits. I really appreciated Elvin's communication and responsiveness over SMS. I also think the pricing was very fair and I really liked that all my interaction was just with 1 person, whereas with other companies I had to deal with not just the contractors/technicians themselves but also salespeople, office managers, estimators, etc. which made things needlessly complex. I look forward to working with this company in the future.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

I got my bidet installed through them. They were quick and reliable. Even though they did not have timeslot available they were able to make it between appointments. The handyman also removed their shoes before stepping into the household. Definitely recommend them. They also gave the lowest price estimate.

Ed installed a NEMA 14-50 outlet last month. He was great to work with--detailed explanation for his quote, prompt responses, straightforward to schedule, and the installation went smoothly. I highly recommend Penguin Electric as a trustworthy, prompt, and reasonable electrical company.  Roman explained everything he needed to do to put my ceiling fans in and fix my puck lights over my master bedroom sinks.  He responded to my inquiries on email, arrived on time, cleaned up at the end of the day, and was very courteous.  I will definitely call him again if I have other electrical jobs around the house, and I'd recommend him to my neighbors and friends.

Reached out to a variety of vendors for quotes on an outlet install in my garage for a new ev. Ric quickly got back to me, asked for a few pics/videos of my panel and garage setup, and provided a recommendation with a full breakdown/explanation. Once scheduled, Pepe (Ric's partner) came out and installed within a couple of hours. Super personable, professional, and wasn't insanely costly compared to other vendors. I highly recommend!!

Very handy and work hard. The precious investigator assigned by American warranty told me there is a gas leakage. However it is not the case. Techs from AY EMP found the key reason that is there was something blocking in the gas pipeline. They finally fix the problem. Very nice work.

James did a great job. We had some recessed lights installed. He came by have some recommendations and taught us the benefits of can vs canless lighting. Came when he said he would. He worked efficiently and meticulously. Glad we used him since he and my wife are both perfectionist. Nice to see someone who takes pride in what they do. Thanks again.

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. I called and left a voice mesage that I needed my furnace pilot light re-lit. I also sent a text. Chuck responded to my text message within 1/2 an hour. He was actually closed for the day but he did return my text message that he was not able to come out perform furnace service because he is booked through mid January. I do appreciate the fact that Chuck had the professional decency to promptly reponse to my messages.

We had an issue with the GFI outlet in the bathroom and called to see if they could check it out.  He answered the phone right away.  He gave me some guidance on how to fix it and offered to walk me thru it or come out the next day.  I followed his advice and was able to fix the new GFI myself.  Super helpful and high integrity!

Had my power out due to a car hitting my electrical poll. Tuesday after Memorial Day, could not get any electrician on the phone but them. They wanted $120 to come and look at it since it was an emergency call. Bad start, but I wanted my power back so I went with it. Henry came after 20 minutes and went right to work. Got the parts, went to the county to start the permit, and had a new replacement 200A cabinet installed by that evening. Kept following up with the inspector and pg&e and got the power back the next day. Great work, great following up with all the agencies and all for a very competative price. Mean time, my nighbour who used a different electrcian still don't have power 3 days later.
