We had an emergency on a holiday(!) weekend when we lost power to our refrigerator and other kitchen appliances, and unable to reset from panel. Raphael came out on the holiday, within 2 hours, and assessed the problem. He offered a temporary solution, while explaining clearly & in detail that we needed a new upgraded panel so as not to have a repeat occurrence.  We are not the home's original owners and through the years work had apparently been done but not to the level needed for newer, high energy consumption appliances. Raphael & his crew arrived on time for the job, completed it as scheduled; work was tidy and clean.  Even the permitting inspector commented on the new panel!
Raphael's professionalism & experience showed; he was very responsive by phone/text/email.  We would not hesitate to use his services again, and would readily refer him and his crew.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

I am very happy with Jamil.  He was thoroughly, respectful and cleaned up once the work was done.  I would highly recommend him and plan to use him again.

He carefully assessed our main panel and sub-panels before providing an estimate. He performed the installation flawlessly and efficiently and actually came in below his estimate. Gustavo and his team are very professional and efficient. From the first call, Gustavo was very responsive and offered many helpful suggestions when I told him what we wanted, and gave me a quote on the spot.

Gustavo installed recessed lighting all over the house with smart dimmer switches and also installed a new line for electric car-charging and one for a smart doorbell. He took extra care and added an option to change the warmth of recessed lighting in a room with other lights of different colors, so that we could match the new lighting with the rest of the room.

Gustavo and his team completed all the work very quickly and we're thrilled with everything they've done. If we get more work done, we're definitely going to get it done from GnH.

Recently I had an electrical issue at my home and Tari Electric was recommended by my brother in-law.  We contacted Moises T., owner, and he promptly responded.  He gave me an honest bid and finished the job as promised.  I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an honest and professional electrician.  Looking forward to having him work on my other property in Castro Valley.  Victor

Roman is knowledgable, honest, and does great work. He fixed and added an outlet for us and installed recessed lights in our living room.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Roman and Penguin Electric and plan to hire him for more projects.

The outlets under my sink for the garbage disposal and dishawasher weren't working.  I called in the morning and received a call back in the afternoon and he was able to do a quick Facetime call and walked me through making the quick reset on one of the breakers (about 5 mins).  The issue was resolved right away and there was no charge.  I appreciate his willingness to help and save me the time and money to have someone come out.  This is exactly the type of company I need as my local electrican; one that cares for customers and treats them like people.  I saved them in my phone for all my electrical issues I have in the future.  Highly recomend!

Let me start by saying this company used to be my favorite before 2019. They were nice and a little more expensive than the competition, but I felt worth the extra price. Not anymore.

We will not hire them again. The last two times we've had them out to estimate jobs, the staff is nice enough, but their estimates are absolutely outrageously expensive. It's the second estimate that made me have to post this.

I needed a quote for an electric outlet for a kitchen stove hook up and Oliver with Dalcon wanted $3500 (other licensed electricians estimated this job to be $1,000-$2500 max and possibly much lower). We also needed a quote for a bathroom outlet and Oliver with Dalcon wanted $1800 (for comparison other licensed electricians have estimated this job to be $300-350).

I don't know what happened with this company. All I can think is...why? Why? Why do you think these prices are reasonable? Did you quote this to me because I'm a woman?

To top it all off, when I explained the prices were too high I then asked Oliver if these prices were firm or are they negotiable, and he said yes they are flexible. He was to email me the quote of a reduced price. I never heard back from him.

These guys do great, reliable work. I needed a 240V outlet installed in my garage so I could charge my EV and the process could not have gone more smoothly. I had an idea where to put the outlet but they came up with a better solution, even though it was more work for them - which they didn't charge me extra for. That is what I call quality service. They were in and out and even called a few days later to make sure everything was working properly. The quality of their work is first-rate and if I ever need *any* electrical work done to my home, these guys will be my first call. Highly recommend.

Chuck is a great guy who really cares about his clients.  I called for a problem that my tenants were having with an electrical outlet.  He advised on testing to do to see if the problem could be resolved without a visit.  I knew then that I could trust him.  He talked me through all of the possibilities and explained everything clearly and succinctly.  Within 2 hours, he made his way to my home and addressed the problem.  Follow-up text, call, and detailed invoice within 1 hour of the visit.  So easy. My husband and I purchased an over the range microwave which required us to upgrade our electrical panel from 100 amps to 200 amps. We both work full time and we have four young children. Therefore, we have very limited time during the week to get things done. Just the idea of upgrading our panel was overwhelming for us. Thankfully, we reached out to California Power & Light (CP&L) who made this entire process quick and easy for us. Henry, the owner of CP&L and his team were extremely professional, efficient, very clean and genuinely nice people. Henry, gave us a clear description of the entire panel upgrade process including the steps we would need to take such as getting a permit from the city and assisting us with contacting PG&E and letting us know ahead of time that our power would be off on the day of installment prior to getting started. CP&L provide us with excellent electrical service and we highly recommend them.
