Worked with Elvin on correcting some existing issues with the two 50A outlets in the garage.  Since these are very high power, I wanted them done properly by a professional and Elvin did all that.  

Some unexpected issues came up and Elvin was very helpful and transparent in what the options were.  Very happy with the job Elvin did, including the extra work that was needed due to a previous contractor's less-than-stellar work.

The work was done on time and correctly, for which I give them two stars.  Would have been five if not for the relentless badgering for payment that began, literally, the minute the job was completed.  I didn't receive an invoice for three days after the job, at which point the day consisted of multiple texts, email, and phone messages demanding payment.  Further, the invoice was dated due five days before the work was scheduled, despite the $1000 deposit I paid.  There are many electrical service companies out there.  Find one that doesn't pay for fake reviews and won't treat you like a deadbeat and harass you nonstop until paid.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

I got my bidet installed through them. They were quick and reliable. Even though they did not have timeslot available they were able to make it between appointments. The handyman also removed their shoes before stepping into the household. Definitely recommend them. They also gave the lowest price estimate.

If you're looking for an EV charging install, I highly recommend EV Charging Solutions. Eduardo is fantastic. Like others have stated, he is super responsive. But more importantly he is thorough, efficient, honest and transparent, and backs his work with warranty. Beware of EV Installation vendors who give you a quote based on limited information. Eduardo asked a lot of good questions up front (location of fuse box, location of charger, estimated distance between the two, pictures of fuse box...) which made his original price estimate (which is very competitive) pretty darned accurate. He was also very upfront which I appreciated. When he initially saw my fuse box in the pictures, because of how my breakers and fuses were allocated, he told me that I can't get the 60A that I wanted based on that initial inspection (and workaround solutions might cost more). However when he came to my place to do an in-person inspection, he discovered that a few breakers weren't being used, and he found a clean and creative proposal to move breakers around to free up 60A! Also during the inspection, he planned out how he was going to do all the wiring to keep it hidden and out of the way.

Then on install day, he showed up earlier than he said he would, and finished the job in less time as well! Quick. Clean. Efficient. Thoughtful and professional. Here is the icing on the cake... as he was moving my breakers around in the fuse box, it freed up 2 unused slots. He ended up taking two dummy breakers and putting them in there. Why? He said that if I were to ever sell the house, home inspectors don't like to see blank fuse slots, and he wanted to make that experience was good as possible as well.

This is what you want in a contractor partner. Someone who not only solves your immediate need, but has foresight and care about your future.

Contacted Right Away Electric (Jonathan) to get a quote on adding 2 to 3 new electrical lines for a master bath renovation.  He responded to my request for a quote promptly and was able to get out the same morning to see the work site.  Meeting him went very well - he was prompt, courteous, professional, honest, and gave me a good idea what the work would entail.  By that afternoon, I had his quote in hand and gave him the green light go go ahead.  He was flexible with the start date (I moved it out from a Monday to a Tuesday and he accommodated with no problem).  Tuesday morning came around and he was early to start at the agreed time (great!).  Working efficiently, he did the job as discussed and even went ahead and helped wire one of the lines to be optionally 240V - something I had thought about but wasn't fully sure.  With his expert help, I can now run 120V or 240V depending on my future needs.  Very satisfied with his work, his diligence, attention to detail, responsiveness, and courteous demeanor.  I wish Jonathan all the luck in growing his business and look forward to calling upon him again in the future.  Thanks!

I recently had some major issues with a general contractor I hired for a remodel.  In order to get the job done, I started watching youtube on how to do electrical work (first mistake).  On two separate occasions, I had to call Ric to help me out after I had made some mistakes.  He was able to come the same day (and even came the day before Thanksgiving).  The two lessons I have learned:  don't do any more electrical work myself and always hire Grover Electric for any electrical needs.

I called them as recommended from Angie's List. I asked for a estimate for a minor electric issue.  I read the reviews and was hoping for the best. I was not given an estimate over the phone. If I would have gotten at least an estimate I would have told them not to bother. To my shock, the job I requested would take no more that 15 minutes, as it was to change a motion light. I was told it would cost $250! The part only cost me $20. I was then told off hand with Dalcon I could get it done for $100. I said NO THANK YOU! They might be a good company, but I would not know nor would I recommend them.

Reasonably priced, pleasant, polite. Andrew called ahead as promised, arrive on time and was through in evaluating and resolving our plumbing problem.

I tend to only bother to write reviews when the service is exceptional or terrible.  Here it is exceptional.

I did the standard Yelp search and liked what we saw about All Systems.  We asked Chuck (the owner) to help us with a series of plumbing and electrical tasks around the house and in the garage.  Our house is an old house and therefore several of the projects were less than obvious.

Over about 4 scheduled visits, chuck came and got it all done.  Some items took more time than he expected and he made time over the weekend to get it done for us.

He was extremely proactive in terms of texting when he would come, when he left, how things were going.  He went out of his way to ensure things were done the way he'd want it done if it were his house - recommending against some items when not necessary, but also suggesting items when he thought it would add value.  This level of consultative service was very much appreciated.

The quality of the work was great - we are very satisfied.

And the entire time, chuck was friendly and professional.

(Side note: this happened during the covid-era, and chuck was conscientious about cleanliness and mask wearing).

Without reservation, i would recommend Chuck to a friend and will call him again.

California Power & Light completed technically difficult electrical upgrade on our triplex on time and for a very reasonable price and in a very professional manner.  We will definitely be going back to California Power & Light for all of our electrical needs.  Henry, the owner, and Doug, his electrician, replaced a 200A main panel with a 400A main 4-meter socket panel; replaced two subpanels, grounded numerous outlets, installed GFCI outlets, installed bathroom fans (except venting), and installed electrical circuits for future installation of a whole house fan, and more.  All work passed City Building inspection without any problems, and the main panel upgrade required coordination with PG&E to disconnect and then reconnect the power to the triplex.  We knew that this work required only experienced and knowledgeable electricians, so we contacted only licensed and fully insured contractors to give us quotes.  Of the companies capable of doing this work, California Power & Light was the most reasonable.  Henry, the owner, was also very responsive to our calls, and both Henry and Doug were very helpful and nice.  The work was performed on time and in a very professional manner.  Since we had residents living in the triplex, we wanted to be sure that the residents were not without power over night when PG&E did the required disconnect of power before the main panel was installed.  Henry and Doug managed to do all the main panel work, get the City inspection and approval, and PG&E back to reconnect the power within one day - this is absolutely phenomenal work.  Also, we appreciated Henry's attention to safety.  He took extra steps that were not required but that added to the safety of the electrical installation.  He is a perfectionist in his work - something that we very much appreciate.
