Raphael was awesome - responded right away, came in quickly and diagnosed a small but complex problem and communicated his thinking and approach clearly as he worked on it (started right away). Reasonable fee as well. Would definitely recommend him.

Had Araz Electric install a 50amp EV charger.  It required a long run of 6 gauge wire from the panel at the opposite corner of the house to the front exterior wall.  They were thorough inspecting everything and explaining the options, gave a competitive quote, and the work was done cleanly, keeping the wiring safely in the attic and high up in the garage.  Very happy with the result, would highly recommend.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

I got my bidet installed through them. They were quick and reliable. Even though they did not have timeslot available they were able to make it between appointments. The handyman also removed their shoes before stepping into the household. Definitely recommend them. They also gave the lowest price estimate.

Contacted Right Away Electric (Jonathan) to get a quote on adding 2 to 3 new electrical lines for a master bath renovation.  He responded to my request for a quote promptly and was able to get out the same morning to see the work site.  Meeting him went very well - he was prompt, courteous, professional, honest, and gave me a good idea what the work would entail.  By that afternoon, I had his quote in hand and gave him the green light go go ahead.  He was flexible with the start date (I moved it out from a Monday to a Tuesday and he accommodated with no problem).  Tuesday morning came around and he was early to start at the agreed time (great!).  Working efficiently, he did the job as discussed and even went ahead and helped wire one of the lines to be optionally 240V - something I had thought about but wasn't fully sure.  With his expert help, I can now run 120V or 240V depending on my future needs.  Very satisfied with his work, his diligence, attention to detail, responsiveness, and courteous demeanor.  I wish Jonathan all the luck in growing his business and look forward to calling upon him again in the future.  Thanks!

Gustavo and his team of electricians was efficient and completed their work professionally in less time than originally estimated.  I appreciated their attention to detail and Gustavo's willingness to make an extra trip to exchange a broken/defective light fixture at Home Depot.

Very responsive, came to do an estimate extremely quick. Installed recessed lighting and outlet for me and did it extremely well. Worked fast and cleaned up the work area, definitely would hire for another job.

Roman called me back after my being patient for a day or two. (The best are always busy, for good reason!) He did a great job assessing a problem with a non-standard wiring job that the previous homeowner did. He quickly put everything back together the way it should be, and charged me a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

A circuit in my house tripped a breaker and the breaker wouldn't reset.  I tried doing some diagnosis myself but had no luck. I checked yelp to find an electrician and started making calls.  Rick got back to me quickly.  He said he could be over between noon and 2.  He showed up right at 1:15.  He started opening receptacle and switch plates to track down where the short was occurring.  He found the plug that had gone bad, replaced it and we decided to have him replace the other 3 old plugs in the room and replace the old-style pigtail adapters for wire nuts.  He quickly had everything back up and running.  

I found myself a new electrician.

Let me start by saying this company used to be my favorite before 2019. They were nice and a little more expensive than the competition, but I felt worth the extra price. Not anymore.

We will not hire them again. The last two times we've had them out to estimate jobs, the staff is nice enough, but their estimates are absolutely outrageously expensive. It's the second estimate that made me have to post this.

I needed a quote for an electric outlet for a kitchen stove hook up and Oliver with Dalcon wanted $3500 (other licensed electricians estimated this job to be $1,000-$2500 max and possibly much lower). We also needed a quote for a bathroom outlet and Oliver with Dalcon wanted $1800 (for comparison other licensed electricians have estimated this job to be $300-350).

I don't know what happened with this company. All I can think is...why? Why? Why do you think these prices are reasonable? Did you quote this to me because I'm a woman?

To top it all off, when I explained the prices were too high I then asked Oliver if these prices were firm or are they negotiable, and he said yes they are flexible. He was to email me the quote of a reduced price. I never heard back from him.

They did an great job. Well planned and excellent execution. Real experts.
The price is very transparent as well.

I will call them again for other projects

Found them on ServiceMagic in 2010. He did a whole house fan with product recommendations I found helpful, put in arbor lights with wiring and switches, fixed a couple of problem plugs and wirings, and gave me a couple of plugs and switches in attics and crawlspaces. He gave me a couple of additional minor items to add to the list that really made things like my attic light more useable and didn't add much to the bill. He came on time, knew what he was doing, had good recommendations for the work items, and left things neat when he was done. I had no worries about leaving him alone in the house. He goes in my book for my electrician of need.
   Used again to update house from 100 AMP to 200, fix doorbell, put in lights in and outside garage. He patiently worked through the PG&E process and delays, did another professional job for a reasonable price. Explains why he's the electrician I call for anything.
   Skip ahead to 2019. I have a new house and I had him replace 20 CFL cans with LED cans, put in 20 new LED cans, add 2 96 LED fixtures to my garage, and give me a quad plug on a wall in the garage that didn't have one and is where I would like to put a workbench. As always he's on time, quick, meticulous, and cleans up completely.
    I won't decide about solar til I've been in the new house for a year, but if I decide I'll use James. There's a bunch of reasons all his reviews are 5 star.

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. I highly recommend them.

We had a problem with our rental unit and needed to get it fixed right away. I came to Yelp to see what the reviews are and found ECP Electric right at the top. After having Emanuel come out and fix the problem, it's easy to see why he's rated so highly by everyone. He's fast, efficient and reasonably priced.

The two gentlemen from California Power & Electric that came out to install an electric outlet in my firebox for a new insert were courteous, hard working and willing to answer all of my questions.  They were running a bit late, but I received a phone call alerting me of the new estimated time of arrival.  I would call them again if I need any service in the future.
