We need to have fiber optic cables run through our house to our central media enclosure. Raphael was by far the best among a dozen electricians and contractors we contacted. He was professional and his experience showed. He was very technical and thorough. He spent time evaluating and explaining all our options. We are still deciding whether we want to make the investment in our house for fiber optic so we can use Sonic as our internet service provider or stick with Comcast, who we are very dissatisfied with. If we move forward with the project, we will definitely be using Raphael. In fact, he will be our electrician going forward for everything. He has the utmost integrity; we trust him 100%.

Worked with Elvin on correcting some existing issues with the two 50A outlets in the garage.  Since these are very high power, I wanted them done properly by a professional and Elvin did all that.  

Some unexpected issues came up and Elvin was very helpful and transparent in what the options were.  Very happy with the job Elvin did, including the extra work that was needed due to a previous contractor's less-than-stellar work.

Guy came to my house un screwed face plate screwed it back on out of line. He touched something and sparks started to fly, left ceiling fixtures hanging. Asked for and took $245 for no work completed(he was in a hurry to get to L.A. for the weekend) I had to ask for refund minus $75 visit fee.They never offered to return and complete the job and re attach fixtures to ceiling(they're still hanging). This company did not offer to complete the project. I would not recommend this company. Where can I find a full service, state certified and licensed electrician in Oakland with some design experience.............

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

Jamil is very responsive. The team arrived on time and was able to replace my kitchen disposal effectively. Price is reasonable. Highly recommended.

This is the best company to work with if you need to have a Ev charger installation in your home. They are responsive, priced reasonably, very experienced and clean-up all clutters after work. Definitely recommend.

Contacted Right Away Electric (Jonathan) to get a quote on adding 2 to 3 new electrical lines for a master bath renovation.  He responded to my request for a quote promptly and was able to get out the same morning to see the work site.  Meeting him went very well - he was prompt, courteous, professional, honest, and gave me a good idea what the work would entail.  By that afternoon, I had his quote in hand and gave him the green light go go ahead.  He was flexible with the start date (I moved it out from a Monday to a Tuesday and he accommodated with no problem).  Tuesday morning came around and he was early to start at the agreed time (great!).  Working efficiently, he did the job as discussed and even went ahead and helped wire one of the lines to be optionally 240V - something I had thought about but wasn't fully sure.  With his expert help, I can now run 120V or 240V depending on my future needs.  Very satisfied with his work, his diligence, attention to detail, responsiveness, and courteous demeanor.  I wish Jonathan all the luck in growing his business and look forward to calling upon him again in the future.  Thanks!

Work order:
22 recessed lights , 3 points for ceiling fans and 1 GCFI outlet.
Costing was approximately 4k plus some equipment that I decided to purchase by myself.

I wish I had taken photos before Moises and crew showed up as It was quite impressive! He came in and totally cleaned up the unsightly mess of wires and cords running everywhere and turned it into an entirely different look!
He repaired my front door bell wiring and added a Ring setup to Floodlight camera above garage door, and an exterior power plug, long overdue! loved the work and his employees attention to detail. After he was done and I inspected the work I had to call him back to thank him for hooking up the electric address sign that I didn't know lit up! Most of them in my neighborhood don't work. It's hard to find people who do 110% of the work for you. Shows pride in their craft!

Roman is fantastic! We hired him to totally rewire a house with new service, panels, wiring, and lighting. Excellent quality work on a good schedule. We have recommended him to several friends who also had great experiences. Recommended!

Rick is awesome and his number is staying in my phone.  He installed a brand new fan (no prior wiring) in our office and put a new ceiling fan in our living room (already wired).  He then fixed two other problems caused by workers we've used before.  One was taking a light switch inside our closet and he moves it the wall where it should have been this whole time.  He also added another remote to a ceiling fan in another room.  He is super knowledgeable and friendly and I would not hesitate to hire him again.   Top quality work.  He also has a messaging/communication system to notify you when he is on his way and he was also able to text me the bid.  He accepted payment by venmo or check or cash.  Thank you for your help Rick!!!

Our landlord got in touch with Dalcon Electric and they were very timely with their responses. They came in twice, once to give an estimate and another time to install the new light fixture. They were very polite and were always on time when coming for their appointments.
They were also very patient in giving us recommendations for what type of light fixture will work best for us. We were initially using something that was very power inefficient and they suggested something that works a lot better. They also gave us one hour time slots, which meant we didn't have to wait around for too long for them to arrive.

We really appreciate their help and will highly recommend them to anyone!

*Please Read Before You Buy* this review which isn't just about his impeccable attention to detail or better prices, rather it's about being quoted $1,800  from another local high-profile electrician to replace my breaker box which he stated was absolutely necessary, without bothering to troubleshoot. Romero from SV Electric quoted me a price almost half of what his competitor wanted but in the end within 2 minutes Romero identified the problem - a loose screw causing an arc - and charged $10 for replacement parts plus a reasonable service call fee... on a SUNDAY. Lightening-fast communication and honesty beyond reproach. The Bay Area is absolutely fortunate to have such an honest, highly-qualified and detail-oriented electrician.

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. I worked with Chuck on my home's electricity. Although he was very busy, he came to my house to fix the main panel and switches for 3 times. I had many questions about what needs to be done and he was very sincere to answer all the question. What helped me a lot was that he made a phone call to the manufacturer and gave me the information of what material I should purchase. I tried to work with Emanuel based on a recommendation from a friend. It took a long time to get hold of him, but I waited.  Then I spent a lot of time explaining in detail (to Emanuel) what my issues and concerns were and we set a time and day for Emanuel to come by and take care of things.  Day of the appointment, someone knocks on my door and says he doesn't know where Emanuel is, but he's here to fix my electrical issues.  Then he asks me what my issues are.  My head caught fire at that point.  Emanuel literally texted me right before that knock, saying that HE was on his way - then someone else shows up with no clue of what I needed?  I got no notice, no call, no text, no nothing from Emanuel to explain this??  Not before, during, or after.  This happened months ago and I'm still fuming about this entire experience.  I paid hundreds of dollars for 10 minutes of work and not even half of what I expected to get.  I could have hired a handyman and paid 1/4 for the same work (changing two outlets).  They may not care about my business, but best believe they cashed my check real QUICK.

I almost walked away from writing this review, but nobody had any basic courtesy to follow up like they told me they would.  Naive me was even willing to give them more business.  Honesty, integrity, and communication are important in any service business.  It seems Emanuel has too much business to worry about every customer.  Glad I moved on.

Henry and his team from California Power and LIght did an excellent job. We recently bought a house that was built in 1950. Henry very thoroughly explained the worked that needed to be done and did a great job sticking to our budget and our timeline. He was very professional and easy to work with to get the projects done to make our home safe and updated.
