We had a clog under the kitchen sink, and the pipes were not setup to be easily taken apart (by a non-plumber). I tried to fix it myself using all the ways I could Google, but I couldn't do it. Enrique and his partner came out and did a wonderful job fixing the problem. He took out the old PVC, ran a snake through to clear the whole pipe length, and they left me with a new pipe setup under the sink that is much more user friendly. In the future, I should be able to fix a similar problem myself due to the new setup. So they were here under an hour, gave a free estimate, then did the work immediately, did a great job, and were very friendly. Thank you!

These guys are the most friendly and honest people I have ever come out to my home. I have had them pull my wife's hair out of the drain for years but when 2020 had one last thing to throw at us New Years eve, they really came through. New Years eve night my sewer line decided to have a  massive backup and they came over as soon as they could. Unfortunately this time they could not unclog my pipes without a clean out being installed. Long story short they had the clean out installed and my pipes cleared by early Saturday and their bill didn't break the bank. I highly recommend you give these guys a call.

I called and got an appointment for the next day. That's pretty good for a non-emergency. Then, they arrived at the very beginning of their 2 hour window. What's going on here? A plumber when you need him, and not having to wait? Not sure this will happen again, but it's definitely worth a shot.

I've also gone into their store to purchase water filters, and they are always nice and friendly.

Basel (the technician) was amazing.
He was here in less than an hour after I called and addressed the problem with the main drain. He snaked and used a high pressure jetting device to remove grease, hair and soap buildup to restore the line to 90% of original capacity.
Everything drains beautifully now.
He was very conscientious and took all precautions while he addressed this problem during this COVID-19 scare. He is our hero.

I was very please with the promptness of Thomas Plumbing.   Dave Thomas called back within the time he specified and had a technician out quickly.  They addressed an issue under our house (crawl space) with the kitchen drainage pipe and were able to fix it without a problem and at a very reasonable cost.  Cody was very straightforward, thorough and efficient.  

I would highly recommend Thomas Plumbing and will not hesitate to call them again if any other plumbing issues arise in the future.

Beware if you are a women alone or POC - Mike came to fix a faucet leak and I said something simple to him (a question).  He got very angry very quickly -yelling and personally attacking me verbally -I had to ask him to leave my home, he was so out of control. My experience was consistent with a number of others posted on NextDoor. These comments from other women (alone- if your husband/ a man is there apparently you don't see this side of him) have since been erased from NextDoor; but I see a few here on Yelp. Honestly even if you aren't in one of those groups, why support a person who regularly treats people like this - even if he is skilled. It has been a number of years since this incident but I was afraid to post it before.

I recently had the pleasure of working with JB Rooter and Plumbing and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with their services. From the moment I reached out to them, they were incredibly prompt in responding and scheduling a visit.

We just moved into the area and needed to get some items urgently updated to be able to have a functioning household.  We always work off of word of mouth and have had some great luck finding some real quality, hard working businesses be recommended to us.  

Chico and Juan came out to our house on Thursday and gave us an estimate, which was below the estimate of the first plumber who came out.  We needed to put in new faucets in 2 bathrooms, a new toilet, new kitchen faucet to fix an old leaky faucet, add a gas line under the house to be able to put a gas stove, and also to add a gas line in garage for a gas dryer.  We agreed on the estimate and setup the appointment for this morning.  We purchased the parts and they supplied the material for the gas lines.  We felt that they were honest and told us what we should get done in the immediate future and what we can wait on.  We are already planning on having them come out to do some future work to change out old pipes and brace them.  They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them.

These guys have saved our bacon, TWICE. We've had two emergency clogs (both before we were hosting large dinners, naturally), and both times Clear Drain came over quickly, solved the problem fast, and charged low rates.

EDIT: I'm adding more text in an attempt to get it past Yelp's filter. For some reason a crapload of 5-star reviews have been filtered out of existence. I'm guessing Clear Drain turned down Yelp's advertising offer, and this is their punishment. (It happens, people.)

I have used BG Plumbing 2 times in my home to do plumbing work.

One time to replace the underground galvanized pipe with copper and 2nd time for replacing the entire house piping with copper.

I am happy that I selected them over others because both times they were very professional, knowledgable, punctual, and well within the right price range.

They gave free estimates and also explained how will they do the work. Their estimates were not the cheapest as well as not the most expensive.

They also managed the whole city permit process.
I will highly recommend BG Plumbing to everyone in Bay Area.

We had our water softener purchased from Amazon installed last week by Eric and Jake.
We need main water loop and garden bypass in the craw space.
They are very professional and the job was done beautifully.

The water softener takes only a small space in our garage. Eric placed it at a good spot where it's easy to access and left some room for extra salts.

After installation they brought me some salts and fully tested the system, also checked all the leakages before they left. The system has been running for more than a week and it significantly reduced the white residues.

The second time around, not upset it took two days, not upset it leaked, but what I was upset about was two things, one I am forbidden to mention as my source does not want this story to be told, but it solidified I hired the wrong human. The second issue which I can recount, is the cost was 856.84 thereabout for one faucet and the plumbing under the two cast iron sinks. Once you go past a certain price, you legally have to have a contractors license, and the scalping was over the legal limit. I read with great interest that the DA is closing in on unlicensed renegades over charging. I am sad to report this. As many one stars I give, I never like doing it, but at times it has to be done.

Our shower was clogged and our kitchen sink was clogged and it smelled horrible. Waiting for our homeowners insurance to send someone was no help!!! First company that came up on Yelp was Xtreme Plumbing. I called and a lady answered I explained our situation. She sent out a technician and Steven showed up within half hour he has been here for three hours making sure everything is working properly everything is fixed he did an amazing job definitely definitely will call them again if any other plumbing issue happens. Very very satisfied with the service!!!!

As a follow-up to our last review, we wanted to take the time to re-emphasize how fortunate we are to have had Absolute Pro Plumbing as our go to plumbing company. Jason and his crew always do their best to make sure every problem is addressed and completely taken care of in a timely manner. His rates, hands down, are the best around. So, once again Jason, this is a heartfelt thank you for your honesty and integrity, in a business world where those traits are sometimes very hard to find.

Doesn't know price range for a simple galvanized valve replacement. Doesn't know schedule. Don't know if they can make it the next day. What do you guys know? Waste of time call someone else.

We had to get hammock chair fixed indoors on my ceiling for my kid. I reached out to Nikolai, he was very responsive. Showed up and was able to get the job done on time and professionally. I'm planning to call him back for some other work at home as well.

Pacific Coast Home Services were exceptional from beginning to end for an electrical upgrade/modernization project to my elderly parents' house.  At the outset and throughout the project, PCHS provided my parents updates and peace of mind every step of the way.  The project coordinator was incredibly understanding and responsive.  Likewise, each and every technician that worked on the project was courteous, focused, and hard-working.  They insured the project met or exceeded PG&E and County standards so that costly fixes/delays were avoided.  PCHS is a one stop shop for virtually every household improvement project and we were able to call on them for a plumbing issue separate from the electrical project.  We are very fortunate to have found PCHS.
