We've lived in our 84-year-old home for nearly 15 years and used one plumbing company the entire time. Recently, that company left the state, so we looked for a new plumbing company. We tried Eldridge & Sons and wish we'd found them sooner! They are professional, responsive, considerate, and did excellent work! Five stars!

Don't always believe what you see on Yelp.

I received quotes from 2 different plumbers for fixing a faucet with low water pressure. They both had 600+ reviews and perfect 5 stars. Both of them said that I needed to replace the 2 angle valves and the $800 kitchen faucet that's only 5 years old because the rubbers from the blown out gasket ruined it. I noticed that neither of the 2 plumbers had photos of fixtures from KWC or Hansgrohe so I went to Guy plumbing to get their take.

Guy plumbing had a very quizzical look when I mentioned the diagnosis and said that they could probably fix it. Low and behold, they came out the next day, replaced the 2 angle valves and fixed the KWC faucet in 1.5 hours. The pressure's back and they also tightened the faucet, hot water dispenser, and soap dispenser-all of which were pretty loose. They have all the tools and parts are are extremely efficient. They also guide you through what they are fixing and show you what's wrong and why certain parts fail.

Such an amazing service.

Our toilet totally broke and we didn't know what to do. Basal from rooter rooter came within the hour, explained the cost, and fixed the problem. He was professional, kind, and explained everything. The  problem was totally fixed and I couldn't be more grateful. He alsoo helped by talking to our landlord, communicating with our neighbors, and helping. I will absolutely call and use this service again.

Cody, the plumper from Thomas Plumbing was a credit to his profession and to his company!!! He was professional and he had great people skills. He explained every step of what he was doing. When I asked for his recommendations he gave them clearly, then left the decisions up to me. He worked with diligence and efficiency while maintaining a cheerful attitude. When he was finished he double checked his work. I was very grateful to have my plumbing problems fixed. The price was fair too.
The bonus for me was that I have used Thomas Plumbing a number of times and I have been very happy with them EVERY TIME!!!

Mike came to my house minutes after we connected on the phone. I had a toilet clog problem. He inspected the situation, fixed it quickly, ran several tests on the toilet to make sure the fix was good, then gave me a couple of pointers on what to do next. As he suggested, I called the Palo Alto Utilities dept. to come out and test the sewage line from my house to the street. They did this on the same day I called and found it was clear. Also, he told me to switch toilet paper products for that toilet. He said that the thickening of toilet paper products has been causing increased toilet clogs around Palo Alto! This is the advantage of using someone who focuses solely on sewage and toilet problems. He is a specialist and knows his specialty well. Mike is a petroleum engineer on his second career and wants to keep his business simple. Highly recommended and I will use his services again.

We have hired Jerry many times to help us with our properties and have him as now the plumber for our entire family. Chico and crew did amazing work in my house. The long rainy season took a toll on our sewage lines which  were all clogged up, leaving us with backed up drains on a long weekend. Chico came to our house in night and didn't hesitate to work in the heavy rain. He came again next day with 4 more folks and did drain cleaning, clean outs installation, shower leak fix and a few other minor things. Price was reasonable and quality of work was high.

Quick response to my urgent request, with window of 10-12 am, but he showed up at 10 and was done, solving all problems in less than an hour.  I would only use Clear Drain Plumbing in the future!

Eric responded to my quote request pretty fast and came to have a free onsite check for the water softener and RO system that I bought. He told me a lot of good advice and helped me reorder the right RO model for a better future user experience. On the scheduled date, Eric and Jake finished the installation as my request that hide the pipes up high and behind the storage shelf. I really recommend their service for water softener and RO system installation.

Friday afternoon found a leak on a pvc piece connected to the meter. SLV water stated it was beyond the meter so they would not do anything but shut the water off and supply well wishes.  I always try to hire the local person to support our community so I looked at yelp for recommendations.  I called The Plumber who is based in Boulder Creek. James came out and dug out and repaired the section that was leaking. He charged a very reasonable rate for a weekend/after hours call. He will warranty the repair for six months. Thank you James for a job well done.

Our main water line broke from the road to the house. Micheal showed up and took care all day Saturday in the rain with minimal damage. It took them till 1am in the pouring rain, but it was done. They replaced the lawn and patched the concert. The price was a little higher than other but you get what you pay for. They know what they are doing.

Great customer service but I received a totally unreasonable price quote. I got four bids for sink installation and theirs came out the highest. I ended up having a licensed plumber install my sink for $1,000 less than their bid. I paid literally 25% of what they quoted for the same job.

Literally came over to my parents Julie past 9pm on Memorial Day weekend to help us move a fridge. It was one of those urgent and important tasks and it was awesome to get his response asap and have the whole situation resolved in an hour. Thank you!

Electrical:
We want to acknowledge the ongoing work by Angel Vargas, Christian and the other people on the electrical crew.  All are very polite and have good attention to detail. The job site is cleaned up at the end of the day and debris is removed so we don't have to hire someone else to do that task.

In particular, Angel Vargas is a standout on the team in regards to keeping us up to date on his work and explaining the technical aspects of the job, which is a big help in understanding the complicated work being done.

We especially appreciate the accuracy he displayed in wiring and hanging our two dining room pendant lights from our vaulted ceiling that has little to no crawl space.  Angel figured out  the measurements relative to the dining table size and the for the proper location of the lights. It was completed perfectly!

Remodel:
We want to acknowledge the ongoing work by Angel Bravo, Oscar, and the other people on the remodeling crew.  This is an excellent team and they have been doing wonderful work. All are very polite and have good attention to detail. The job site is cleaned up at the end of the day and debris is removed so we don't have to hire someone else to do that task.
We've worked longer with Angel Bravo and when we have questions about the project, he answers without hesitation and gives us the information we need to understand the aspect of the job he's working on. Angel's craftsmanship with installing cabinets is extremely precise and the end result is excellent.
