We had a clog under the kitchen sink, and the pipes were not setup to be easily taken apart (by a non-plumber). I tried to fix it myself using all the ways I could Google, but I couldn't do it. Enrique and his partner came out and did a wonderful job fixing the problem. He took out the old PVC, ran a snake through to clear the whole pipe length, and they left me with a new pipe setup under the sink that is much more user friendly. In the future, I should be able to fix a similar problem myself due to the new setup. So they were here under an hour, gave a free estimate, then did the work immediately, did a great job, and were very friendly. Thank you!

Wow! What amazing service! Not only was VIP the only ones able to come out within a day, Vince was extremely thorough and helpful. He was supposed to come out for just an estimate but was able to replace our expansion tank, fix our kitchen sink (that had been fixed by another plumber before mind you ), and check out our toilet that mysteriously started having hot water in the bowl and tank. Vince deserves a raise!!

I will definitely be using VIP for all future water heater and plumbing needs and will be recommending them to all friends and family in the area.

We called Guy Plumbing because we had a backup in a sink upstairs in the master bedroom. After being told that someone would come between 2 and 4 pm, we received a call right at 2 that someone was on his way. Alex showed up a few minutes later, was very professional in both his manner and in diagnosing the problem which wasn't so easy due to an unusual pipe configuration. He worked diligently for just under an hour, remedying the problem completely and cleaning up thoroughly. I thought the $110 basic charge for up to one hour was very fair. (After one hour, you pay $27.50 per quarter hour for overtime.) As advertised, you get billed in the mail rather than paying on the spot. Everything was perfect.

You are correct, it was my tenants who were left without water or heat for over seven hours after your plumber turned it off and drove from Berkeley to Palo Alto for another job. Your company had assured me this would be treated as an emergency situation and fixed in a couple of hours, so of course I was disappointed and upset, especially when I could not reach the plumber or anyone from your office by phone.

You are right, your company does have valid licenses and permits. I apologize for my misunderstanding as I did not realize there were two companies named 24/7 Rooter & Plumbing and that one had permits and one did not.

You are also correct that although City of Berkeley did send me multiple notices and letters advising me that work was being done at my house without permits (and threatened to fine me). You did resolve the issue satisfactorily after much headache.

You are right also that I want a discount on my bill. $2,100 is, in my (non-professional) opinion is an excessive amount to charge to install a 40 gallon gas water heater.

I did get the inspector out to the property as you suggested  and unfortunately there are several issues that need to be addressed to get the work up to code.

I don't want to not pay you. In fact, I would very much like to pay you but given the situation even your discounted offer to me feels unfair.

Our water heater was leaking this past Monday, and got an appointment on Tuesday. Jerry and Titus came out and they were great. They prepped everything, lining the carpet up and down the stairs. Did I mention our water heater is on 3rd floor of townhouse. Our water heater was not easy to replace, taking it out proved to be difficult, and then when they were filling up the tank it was leaking due to crack in pipe leading into it. Jerry knew exactly what part was needed and replaced it. It took 8 hours to complete. Am sure this job is one they won't soon forget!

Mike was friendly, courteous, very responsive, professional, and effective.

He quickly troubleshot a problem with a blocked drain, hopped up on the roof and fixed it relatively quickly by snaking through a vent.  Less mess that way.

He also explained how the problem happened, how to prevent it from happening again with the purchase of a small drain accessory, and in the unfortunate event that a clog still happened again, how I might even try to do it myself next time with the right equipment.  

Basically everything you could ask for when procuring a professional service.

Owner(Jerry) was responsive,timely and professional .  He made repairs, cleaned up completely and charged a very fair price.  Would recommend him without

Clear Drain has done several jobs for my house over the years, for both sewer and water.  I have hired other plumbers now and then but have been less satisfied with them.

Their receptionist returns calls promptly and has a pleasant voice and manner of speaking.

I had a master bedroom sink backed up and also making the connected sink in the guest bedroom to back up. Baldomero gave me a fair price, arrive the same day on time. Highly recommended! We got the referral from our neighbors for our water softener system and RO water system installation. First I tried to contact them via their website, and the response was very fast and efficient. They gave me a quote right away, and also some suggested brand/models of water softener we can purchase ourselves. On the installation date they showed up on time, explained patiently about the scope of work and some knowledge regarding our home water system. During the installation they patiently telling us what they're doing, what's that for, etc, made us feel very confident about the work. We also installed RO system & fridge ice maker pipe, everything went really well, as they know exactly what they're doing. After the job was done they cleaned everything up, made the house back to exactly it's like (except you have some new water systems installed lol). Michael came to the rescue.    Our whole drain system was backed up so instead of removing the toilet and opening up the bathtub he tried going through the sewer drain and fixed the problem.  Saved us about $150

I called Amir and he gave me a time he will show up n access my situation. he's very prompt n efficient with answering phones n messaging n letting you know ETA. I appreciate that bigtime. Amir came by and checked it out and showed me the root cause and what all can be done. I was impressed n suggested me what route to go  n very reasonably priced. We setup an appt time,he showed up n did all the work n extra work as he goes above n beyond in he's work/service. within cpl hours work was done more then expected, makes me happy and satisfied as a customer. Literally came over to my parents Julie past 9pm on Memorial Day weekend to help us move a fridge. It was one of those urgent and important tasks and it was awesome to get his response asap and have the whole situation resolved in an hour. Thank you!

Don't bother to call this company.  They waist your time by coming over and going over your electrical plan and before they leave they say I'll send you an estimate by tomorrow but they never do.  probably looking for a easy money type of job and if it is too complicated then they won't bother.  on January  they send the guy name Andrew Hernandez that never send estimate and after a month when I complained to Pacific Coast, Andrew send the estimate  for $45000 !?!?!  the second guy name Juan Conchas  came on Feb 15th and aid that same thing that I will send you an estimate by tomorrow but never did and won't answer phone call or text message.  I have got estimate from another service center for $5000.
Such messed up crew and service.
