These guys are the real deal.   Had a stoppage in my cast iron main sewage line.   The team showed up on time as promised, worked tirelessly to snake and hydro clean the line - and we are up and running again.   Enrique suggested that I consider replacing the cast iron lines with PVC at some point to avoid problems associated with aging cast iron.    Will definitely hire these folks again for any plumbing related needs or replacements.  

Invoice received via email with Quickbooks and payment was a breeze.  Pleasure to work with a professional company that has high integrity in all regards and priced fairly.

UPDATE 9/25/2020:  Enrique and his team came back to do a few more jobs for me in the last few days, including adding a secondary cleanout for the main line in front of the house; great idea and it was done flawlessly with total regard to quality and asthetics.   These guys totally rock and stick to their firm quotes.   Can't go wrong with this operation, give them a try.

I manage Los Gatos Storage Services, and back in July the San Jose Water Company decided that we needed to repair our backflow prevention assembly. Wade came out to attempt repairs and quickly discovered that a full replacement of the assembly was required. He took the time to show and explain why we needed a replacement.

It took only a week for the assembly to be ordered, replaced and a retest to be performed. They were quick, professional and the customer service was outstanding. Correspondence from the initial call to when the work was performed was a tad slow, but that aside, I would highly recommend Eldridge & Sons Plumbing for any plumbing needs!

Excellent experience. Vince came out on a Sunday morning and installed a new water heater at our rental unit that had finally failed the night before. The renters never missed a shower. He was pleasant and efficient, performing quality work. The next day Vince came to our house and installed a new dishwasher that the delivery guys couldn't manage. With all of the many repairs and plumbing fixes we have needed over the last 40 years, this stands out as one of the very best. Responsive, knowledgeable, quality workmanship and fair pricing.

Over the years I have used Guy Plumbing many, many times.  They always come out very quickly, usually the same day.   The work they have done for me has always been high quality.  Everything from toilet repairs to  faucet installations to helping me detect a problem with our water line.  

I also appreciate the fact that if there is a job they can't do, they simply tell me that on the phone and will often also tell me the best place to go to get the job done.  The folks they refer to are of similar high quality, and I trust their recommendations.  It's also nice that when you call, you pretty much always get a real person, and that person knows their stuff.  No waiting on hold, no callbacks where you have to explain your problem again and again.

I actually can't think of a service business in the Menlo Park area that I would recommend more highly - Guy Plumbing is awesome.

I've been calling Dave for a few different plumbing issues over the past year. He's been amazing at quickly diagnosing the various issues and and efficiently talking about the various solutions. Dave is my go-to plumber!

Terrific service from a professional plumber service.  Replaced water heater (~2015), and has continued to provide reliable and trustworthy followup.  Recommend Thomas Plumbing for all service.

Mike is efficient, returned my call within 30min on a working day, showed up 30min. Later and fixed the drain backup issue less than one hour. Charge is very reasonable, far better than those people charge you as soon as they show up,  no matter whether they can fix the problem or not.

For those complainers about Mike does not respond, he does not work on weekends or need to drive on highway for long time. He is good enough to have enough local customers.

I highly recommend AR PLUMBING SERVICES.  Chico came to my house and was very friendly and professional.  He did a great job and cleaned up after he finished the job. His prices are the best around. Whenever I need plumbing services,  I will definitely call Chico at AR Plumbing Services.

We used this company twice and both times we where very pleased, amazing customer service, fast and reliable, Trevin has been very knowledgeable and efficient. Will definitely use their services in the future.

Our toilet started backing up one evening.  Because we're still in the middle of the pandemic, we needed this fixed asap - we didn't want to start bugging the neighbors when we had to go to the bathroom.  I called BG the next morning, and they came out in a couple hours.  Unfortunately for me, it wasn't just a simple rooter, but they diagnosed and fixed the problem same day - they ended up digging up some pipes and installing a two way clean out so if it flooded again, it wouldn't flood in the house.  They showed me the what our pipes looked like, showed me some things to look out for, and even found a plastic cap blocking our pipes and managed to fish it out.  All in all, they were fast and fair.

Installed water softener and RO. Highly recommended!

They are very professional and pay attention to details, with a very reasonable price. They patiently answered all my questions, and explained every details about how the system works. The end result is amazing!

The second time around, not upset it took two days, not upset it leaked, but what I was upset about was two things, one I am forbidden to mention as my source does not want this story to be told, but it solidified I hired the wrong human. The second issue which I can recount, is the cost was 856.84 thereabout for one faucet and the plumbing under the two cast iron sinks. Once you go past a certain price, you legally have to have a contractors license, and the scalping was over the legal limit. I read with great interest that the DA is closing in on unlicensed renegades over charging. I am sad to report this. As many one stars I give, I never like doing it, but at times it has to be done.

They're very professional, evrytime they come over our expectations are exceeded! And they always keep the work area clean. Moises is the best howevr they're all very capable!

Ameer and his team fixed my main line leak back in April. Ameer gave me one of the most competitive quotes. They did a great job digging up my lawn and replacing the pipe. A sprinkler tube was broken in the process but I didn't notice till a few later. Ameer came back to fix it right away. Very satisfied with their work.

Stay Away, not honest, and ripping off!

I called The Plumbing company last Thursday when my water heater broke and I could not turn on the pilot. A welcoming rep took the call, and I asked about their service. She said they can have a service man coming to our house.

The first red flag, not giving diagnostic fee info on the phone: I asked the rep whether there is any diagnostic fee, she said there is NO fee, and a quote will be provided when the service man arrives. The service man arrived later in the day, and indeed called in advance of coming. After minutes of arrival, he said there is $179 diagnostic fee! I said, the call rep did not talk about this, he said, well, there is a fee if we are coming! I said, you could be transparent, etc. Nevertheless, we negotiated the diagnostic fee down to $80.

The Next red flag: quoting a high repair bill pattern: He tried to turn the pilot, it failed. He said, with a high probability, is thermocouple. And, the cost to replace it is $409 (labor). I said, this is too high, how much is the parts, he said this is not about parts, it's the labor that is expensive. And, if I replaced the thermocouple, and it's not it, and it's your gas valve, the replacement charge for this is $510 + parts. I declined any repair, and he left with $80 of diagnostic fee!

Then, I went to the internet, and did a bit of research on Thermocouple, and noticed that he even did not do a good diagnostic job, others in the videos make certain that this is the faulty part by actually measuring the voltage, etc.

After a bit of research, I found that is a pattern in this industry to just come to service call, collect diagnostic fee, provide high quotes, customer declines, and they move to the next diagnostic job! A complete rip-off.

Another issue is that I found later that my water heater has been under warranty. And, finally, I had a service man contracted with the manufacturer to replace the parts, and fix the issue for only $225 (labor + free parts from the manufacturer). And, I found this issue indeed by a 3rd service man from another company that I called on the same day, and he came to our house, he pointed this out, and asked me to call the manufacturer. He indeed did not charge me at all!  and he said I better go the manufacturer route. This new service man indeed gave me hope that there are still good guys in the market, while the service man from the Pluming Company did not let me know about this, at all, even though charged me $80 diagnostic fee, as well.

So, I had a really bad experience with this company, and the method they want to make money out of customers! Not being transparent, quoting high to just collect the diagnostic fees quickly, no proper diagnostic, and not explaining the options including any warranty coverage, etc. Stay away, if you can!

We had to get hammock chair fixed indoors on my ceiling for my kid. I reached out to Nikolai, he was very responsive. Showed up and was able to get the job done on time and professionally. I'm planning to call him back for some other work at home as well.

We had a Richard and Raymond come out from the electric team this week and they were very prompt, knowledgeable and quick to spot and fix the problem. They took the time to explain everything and present us with options for moving forward.

We also had Adonnis from the Hvac team come to fix our aircon. Again, he spotted the issue quickly and easily and was able to fix it within an hour (which was really appreciated as it was in the 90s today). He was also kind and friendly and great with our pets :)

Overall, we were thrilled with the service for both electric and air and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pacific Coast to anyone!
