I live on the West Side of Santa Cruz and realized my expeller pump wasn't working late in the day on Monday.  This is connected to my main bathroom ... so being out of service was an issue.

I called, left a message and got a call back in 5 minutes (Yeah!).   He realized my predicament and scheduled me the next day.    He was exactly on time, fixed the problem quickly and price was exactly what was quoted (which I have come to find out was a lot lower than others).  

Henry and his partner were clearly qualified and licensed.  He had all the tools as well (he had to take apart a wood box around the unit).  I would recommend them without hesitation.

I'll be using Eldridge & Sons again. My house is a rental, and communicating from afar can be tough. You have to trust the plumber. I called Nick on a Saturday, and he picked-up. It was a non-emergency issue (a slow leak under the bathroom sink), but he got to the house on Monday. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and fixed it right away -- the p-trap had a hole in it. Nick seems fair and honest. Thanks Yelp for the informative reviews.

A+  They know what they're doing.  Our water heater stopped heating our water one day and we had to take a cold shower.  I put an inquiry into yelp and they were the first to respond with a solid price.  They showed up the next day and did contactless service.  And voila we had hot water again.  Would definitely recommend!

Troy came to replace a Hansgrohe thermostatic cartridge in my shower. Other plumbers said it would be a minimum charge (and it was high). I asked what if it only takes 15 minutes? They said it would still be the minimum. Troy came from Guy plumbing, cleaned the shower parts and then tested the hot water. He found that the cartridge needed to be replaced. He called it in and in a matter of minutes, it was delivered. He installed it and it works great.
He was neat, thorough and very friendly. The price was VERY REASONABLE. I highly recommend them.

This company seems to contract out a bunch of its staff and added on a bunch of unnecessary charges. On top of that, they told our tenants they would show up at a certain time, and were two hours late, on multiple occasions. Although the initial techs were friendly, they were unable to diagnose an issue we had with a leaky pipe under our house, and wanted to bring a concrete saw in and dig a trench underneath our kitchen and bathroom to look for the problem. This would have meant that our tenant would have to move out for several weeks to a month while they did the work.

After paying them ~$1,500 and receiving a $20,000 estimate, their manager/supervisor, William Mendieta, tried to add on more charges (probably because they could tell we were worried about the leak) and said that they wanted to come out again to assess the situation because it was even more involved than they initially estimated. He showed up over 3 hours late and after asking him about the additional charges, he stopped returning my calls. It was actually a blessing in disguise because we brought a separate company in, and they were able to isolate the issue and fix it within a week, for around 1/3 of what 24/7 was quoting (even before they said there would be additional charges).

I can't begin to tell you how happy I was this morning when this Company squeezed me in
in a very busy schedule since we're in the middle of a long, hot heat wave.  My air conditioner went out suddenly, early afternoon yesterday. The company who put in my system, Valley Heating & Cooling could not get me in for three weeks, July 13!  I never thought to get somebody local so I started making calls via Yelp. I made some 10 calls, most companies had the same 2-3 wk wait while anothers didn't answer their phone at all.
The HVAC person they hired recently is Gary, he was SO professional, polite, clean and
honest.  He was in and out of my job in about one hour.  The bill seemed very reasonable and fair.

I have use this company many times for plumbing services within the last 15 years, but I did not know they did heating and air-conditioning and it did not coming up in Yelp under A/C and heating.  
I was referred to them by another company that did not do residential work named Duerr A/C and Heating. The gentleman there was very helpful, he told me how much he liked Dave Thomas, that he was always a fair, nice business owner.  Thank goodness I called Duerr's to get Dave's name and number!

Thanks a million Dave & Gary.  My house is now cooling off.  I would recommend them if anybody needed air conditioning work.

Mike arrived 10 mins after I called him, gave me an estimate before starting, worked quickly and professionally, and did a fantastic job, even making improvements he didn't charge for. Highly recommend him to anyone with basic plumbing issues (he chooses not to tackle complex jobs).

Jerry from JB Rooter and Plumbing is everything you'd want in a plumber. He's professional, honest, punctual and gets the job done! We have hired Jerry many times to help us with our properties and have him as now the plumber for our entire family. He's done tasks as simple as changing a faucet to figuring out why we don't get hot water. No task is too easy or too difficult for this expert.

Chico was very responsive and fast at finishing his work. He did a great job with my plumbing issue. Definitely recommend him.

I got several quotes to do a copper repipe for our 30+ year old house. Clear Drain was on the high side but I chose them as they had decent ratings on Yelp, bonding, CA State license and workmens compensation insurance. They also offer a lifetime warranty for the workmanship.  Jason did the estimate and he was upfront about the costs in writing and did confirm that there would be no unforeseen changes after starting work. The work was performed by Leo who was very professional (booties in the house, laid plastic all over, minimized dirt, etc) The crew was very efficient and the plumbing work is very professional and completed within 2 full days. One item to note is that they will patch up the holes in drywall by mud and tape (not finish it - you have to get a painter to finish it) and we had a disagreement over the wall patch as the drywall wasnt laid flush against the old wall. I felt that it would cost me a lot more to finish the wall due to increased sanding and repair work required to match the replaced drywall.  The painter recommended by Leo (not related to Clear Drain Plumbing) was terrific and did a great job on the wall (which was a separate contract). Overall in the end I am very satisfied by Leo's professionalism. He did come twice after the job to check on the wall, minor repair and fix a water hammer sound in the copper pipes and also assured me that they would be available if any issues reoccur. I do see a significant positive difference in our water pressure and hot water distribution after the repairs.

I would rate them at a 3.5 and definitely recommend them for future work but be aware of the post-completion repairs and clarify it in the contract.

Great service and reasonable price. The technician is very responsive, he did a water pressure check even before we had the contract. I only asked for the valve replacement, but he also removed the unused old pipe as well as a quick check for sink disposal for free. Highly recommended.

my old RO stops working and my main kitchen drain also seems to clogged, I requested a service and ordered a waterdrop 600 base on their website's recommendation, originally when I ask for service the quotation includes $50 for old RO removal and $50 for frig hooked up, but upon arrival Eric said I already had a frig connection and the RO was easy to remove so didn't charge me for either, my drain clog was also a pain and they'd to finally snake it from the garage cleanout and got it done.  Very professional service and seems a very honest company can't be happier with what they'd done give them some extra at the end, will use them again next time I need plumbing service.

James came out to fix our water heater. Turned out we might have to replace the whole unit since it's still under warranty. He talked over all of our options, offered advice, clearly had a huge amount of experience and knowledge AND at the end of the day he didn't even charge us for his time. We will definitely call James when it comes time for installation.

I just wanted to say that their service is amazing! Started with a call because we had no hot water and Ameer was quick to respond our call early morning. Our water heater was replaced and top quality service was provided. We had hot water within a few hours our first interaction. We had to get hammock chair fixed indoors on my ceiling for my kid. I reached out to Nikolai, he was very responsive. Showed up and was able to get the job done on time and professionally. I'm planning to call him back for some other work at home as well.

Excellent work done! Several outlets didn't work at my home. They checked the panel and all outlets, they also opened up to check the problems until they fixed all the outlets. They did great cleaning work after fixed the outlets and even help me to throw my trash. Raymond is very professional, and he also recommended not using some electric appliances which could cause fire issue in bedrooms. I'll definitely choose them again if I have any other electrical issues later.
