Update from previous review: I am grateful to Mr. Brown, and this update is because of Mr. Brown's prompt - I'd say immediate - response, re-work and dilligence. Mr. Brown came over the same day I contacted him (11-17-20), per my general contractor's and inspector's instructions, and worked close to 8 pm with my contractor to work on what the SJ City Inspector instructed us to do. I understand he worked well with Mr. Kim, and put forth a lot of effort.  He had given me a 1 year warranty of work when RMB installed my new water heater tank back in July 2020.   I was required by SJ City to pull a permit for my water heater tank replacement.  I did not know that before, but since I obtained the permit, I had an inspection 11-17-20 with the Permits Dept. Inspector Supervisor. My contractor's rep, GM, Mr. Kim was present also. The inspector gave us instructions about what needs to be redone/fixed etc. related to the water heater tank. I texted a thank you to Mr. Brown, and I wish him/his company/his crew well. With this review, I would definitely recommend Mr. Brown/RMB Plumbing. I believe now that he would go the extra mile for you/his clients. Thank you Mr. Brown.

Just last Wednesday, we finally got a small damp section of our front yard properly diagnosed as being the result of a leak in our water main. Umberto from Freedom Underground came over to look at the problem and give us an estimate on either Thursday or Friday. After talking to San Jose Water Company, the work was scheduled for Thursday of this week. But on Saturday, the leak suddenly got a lot worse, so we had to call SJWC to get them to turn off our water. (They said it was a 500-gallon/hour leak at that point!) I texted Umberto to tell him the problem, and he was able to reschedule the work for Tuesday of this week.

The work went off without a hitch, but SJWC didn't show up to turn the water back on before Umberto and his team had to leave. However, Umberto said that if I texted him after SJWC showed up, he'd come over to open the valve in our basement slowly, so as to let the air out before we started using any water. That was really an above-and-beyond offer, which I happily took him up on!

And then this morning, Umberto and a co-worker showed up to replace the dirt over the new pipe (which I had wanted left out until SJWC blessed the new pipe as being leak-free).

To summarize: Freedom Underground gave us an estimate on short notice, changed the scheduled work date on short notice, fixed the problem in one day, returned to turn the water back on after-hours that day, and showed up promptly the next morning to fill in the holes left by the work. Kudos to Umberto and his team!!!

Viktor came today to help with hanging and installing artwork and bathroom accessories for his in our new place. I am the worst at that sort of stuff so having his service is basically the difference between months of procrastination or having it done!  He was on time, did good work and was reasonably priced.  We really appreciate his help to make our new place one step closer to our home

These guys are just what I needed when drains got plugged! Upfront costs, emailed invoices, quickly returned phone calls, honest repairs. Better than any others I've tried.

Our toilet was plugging constantly no matter what we tried. I requested a quote and Emil got back to me within minutes! He was at our home the next day, snaked our toilet, and recommended that we purchase a new toilet before he removed our old toilet to clean the drain.

A few days later, he was able to come back out, put in the new toilet, and even took my old toilet away for free. Awesome customer service, quick response times, and great service.

Yippee!  Finally, a professional, Get-R-Done company that knows their business.

I had a small job (concealing an electrical cord hanging from a TV).  After researching and talking to people who made the job sound really big, not big enough $$, or who were just plain incompetent,  I found Willow Glen Electric.

It was a flashback of what customer service use to be like,  When I called, I spoke to a person who knew the competency of the company.  I received a straight forward response, a reasonable quote, and two nice guys (Matt and Zeek) showed up a few hours later.  Call it luck.  I call it good ole' fashion service.  

The gents were professional, personable and clean (so was their equipment).  They accommodated all of my questions, explained what was being done and how, then they were done!  No anxieties!

Minh is very detailed on doing the work. I contacted him for pendant installations. He responded my message quickly, showed up on time, and installed the lights very carefully and professionally. The best part I noticed is Minh cares about my house. When he moved ladders around or walked around, he was careful on floors and walls and always put his tools gently. My ceiling is about 120 inches height and he put 2 piece of woods on the countertop before standing on it so that it will spread the weight evenly without crashing it. Unlike other reckless contractors, he is not only professional but also cleanup everything after the work is done. Highly recommended! Thanks Minh.

I had an outlet I  replaced and when I turned the breaker back I went to test it by plugging in a lamp. As I plugged it in and flipped it on the outlet arched and the power went out. The breaker turned off so I though I just had to flip the breaker back on and it would reset. It didn't. I called and spoke with Julio and he walked me through how to correct it. With his guidance everything works!  Free of charge!!! Who does that these days? Julio did!  I have a few electrical projects around the house I need to have done and Julio will be contracted to do all of them. I am blown away there are people like Julio out there!

Roger is very prompt in responding to messages. He came for an estimate on a weekend as well. He is very knowledgeable and gave me very good advice.

I hired Duke to straighten out the wiring in a home in Willow Glen and then install several smart lights and a Nest thermostat.  He was on time, helpful (making great suggestions that saved me money), efficient, clean, and gave me a very fair price.  Then, our natural gas generator in Saratoga didn't kick in when the electricity went out and Duke came to the rescue.  He identified the problem and fixed it right away.  His ability to think outside the box to solve problems is great.  He is a real expert when it comes to electrical issues and he is knowledgeable about all of the latest gadgets.

They were able to help me really quickly and were super efficient! Excellent work, 100% recommend.

There are some really great things about Adary electric.  They are super responsive and accommodating.  I had a situation where light blew in a main room of the house so I urgently needed new lighting with the upcoming holidays.  Responsiveness deserves 5 stars in squeezing me in.  The workers were very pleasant and knowledgeable.  Also 5 stars.   What I'm not excited about is the value.   They gave me one option, a fixed proposal/quote that presumed double the effort of what it took.   Assumed 2 guys for a day, and took 1 guy 1/2 a day to install recessed lighting in a small den.  Thus, the ultimate price ended up being much steeper than time and materials for this relatively simple job.  There also was not recognition that the scoping could have been materially off in this case or any concession..even a fraction...only justifications for other cases going over and listing of floor coverings and $20 dimmer, etc in the cost (p.s. Was $1850). This was 5 halo 4 lights, easy wiring (no holes other than for the cans).  I understand a fixed bid runs the chance it would go over, but this was an easy job and not some crazy electrical re-do with unknown problems.  So in this case, my bad for not shopping others or having a tone and materials option.  Beware of fixed proposals unless you are sure of the effort needed.   Likely won't use them again unless I get multiple bids and am confident about the scope and effort involved.

For those considering engaging this business.  Please be aware this is a photo of the email response from the business owner.  Things to note (1)  the estimate (aka contract proposal) was overblown and assumed a tricky job as no attic above lights, but turned out there was a lot of headroom making the job easy (2) business attacks customer versus listens and does addresses concerns (3)seeks to muffle adverse social media opinion (4) threatens small claims court and multiple demands for payment in under 72 hours. (5) threatens defamation for citing fact on yelp.

Nick is very responsive and very grateful that he can come in next day.  He's also very up front about the estimate and it's very reasonable.
Will definitely recommend for anyone looking for trustworthy electrician!

Roberto did a great job in finding and fixing problems in 50 year old wiring.  I was a amazed he did all this in an hour

Had an electrical problem in my kitchen and someone else came out that recommended  a very expensive fix.  Dan Matthews came out and fixed it in 45 minutes.  So happy and will definitely call again if I need an electrician.  I would highly recommend him.

Echibon Electric was not willing to do new main panel install as quoted.  Jim decided to change materials after he gave quote.  Was not very responsive with text or email.  He says he was too busy waiting on PGE on another project so forgot to respond.   I still haven't received updated quote for the install.

Wow! Edwin was very professional, knowledgable, and reliable. We called him about a seemingly difficult project in our backhouse, and he was able to come out the same week and fix it in just a day! And he went above and beyond what we had asked him to do and gave us a great price for it. We will definitely be using him for all of our electrical needs in the future!

My daughter and partner bought their first house, an older property, that needed some much needed work.  Based on Yelp reviews we contacted David and in a matter of days he conducted a walk through, provided a cost to complete and subsequently completed all of the work needed and then some.
Having bought, fixed up and sold several homes over the years I am very familiar with using contractors and in my opinion David is one of the best I have ever done business with.
David and his son Sergio arrived at the time they said, completed the installation of a Nest camera system, installed hallway and laundry recessed lights and fixed several incorrectly wired outlets outlets and switches.
The work was clean, they provided floor coverings; the work was done in the time they said and most importantly everything works like a charm.
