Hiring Freedom Underground Plumbing was perhaps the best decision I have made so far this year. When I bought my new house some 5 months ago I noticed that the bathtub was not draining quickly; soon afterward the kitchen sink began to get clogged and the bathtub drain began making frequent hick-up sounds; the alarm went off when the sink in my garage began to be filled up with filthy water carrying linen from the laundry, which flowed up from the sewage line. After doing a search on the Internet, I concluded that my house's lateral sewage line had to be completely clogged, most likely by roots from the nearby trees, and therefore needed to be dug up and replaced. After asking other homeowners at work I realized that I was looking at a repair which would likely end up costing me many thousands of dollars, yet I had no choice but to have the repair done immediately.

When I asked for a contractor I got a call from Freddy, who runs Freedom Underground Plumbing. When Freddy came home to give me an assessment he didn't ask for any payment to inspect the lateral sewage line with a special camera (unlike other plumbing companies do). By that means Freddy was able to follow the camera's progress inside the sewage lateral line with an manually held electric device and then pinpoint the exact location where the pipe was clogged and therefore impeded the further advance of the camera. Now here is where the story gets interesting: the clog was detected some 40 feet away from my house (by the sidewalk) yet he did not pitch me a replacement of the entire sewage line, as I'm sure other contractors would have done by taking advantage of my lack of knowledge on this subject; he recommended instead to replace only the segment that had been clogged so as to lower my expenses; he explained to me that he could replace the entire clay pipe leading up to that point if I wanted, but that it was not really necessary for the time being. Imagine that: a company advising a new customer how to save money at the company's own expense! His honesty (and friendliness) had me sold! I hired him right away and he and his co-worker arrived punctually on the day agreed on, which was a Saturday. He showed me every phase of the job, showed the clogged segment of the sewage pipe to me (which had been fractured and was filled with roots), gave me thorough explanations of the work he was doing, and quickly finished the job. The best part is that he charged me much less than what I was expecting to pay! Freddy even went inside my house to check some plumbing problems that I have to give me advise at no extra cost.

In a nutshell, I can wholeheartedly recommend Freddy's services. I just wish that more contractors would be like him!

I used Alansi's Plumbing to fix a gas leak in the garage identified by PG&E.  Of the three plumbers I contacted, Alansi's was able to help fix the problem.  Ivan bought replacement parts, and was familiar with turning on and off the gas lines and the water heaters.  He also had a meter that help reconfirm and identify the leak before he started and after to make sure the leak was fixed.  All in all in took 3 hours to pick up parts and repair the leak.  Yaz at the office was also helpful in scheduling and getting me the quote and invoice for my files.  I will use them again for future plumbing issues.

After a night of no hot water, I jumped on the phone, trying to find someone who could solve the problem. After talking with numerous companies, I fully expected to be paying close to $3000 for a new water heater. Then I found Emil and Polis Plumbing. Emil came out within an hour, diagnosed the problem (a bad controller), told me that I did not need a new heater. He then left, without asking for any money, to see if he could get a new controller. Within an hour, he texted me to say that he had the controller and that he would be back in a few hours to install it. Sure enough, he came back later in the day, installed the new controller and we were back in business and for a whole lot less than a new water heater would have cost. I would highly recommend giving Polis a call for your plumbing needs. Great communication, professional, honest and very fairly priced.

I used Voltz electric around 6 years ago to install a whole house fan. They were on time, clean, and very professional during the installation.

Recently the fan was having an issue so I called them yesterday to see if they could help diagnose the issue. I was able to schedule them for this morning at 8am, which was great. Obviously i was expecting to pay for this and assumed that a new fan might be needed. Turned out to be a lose allen nut. Mike (great guy) also checked around and made sure the belts were in good shape and not too loose, etc... In the end, they charged me less for the service call than what they quoted over the phone since they installed it and i'm a repeat customer.

Mike was extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem and will definitely call Voltz again.

Jason and Danielle are amazing. Great communication and very practical in their recommendations. Jason even gave me some tips as to how to DIY some of the non-electrical stuff I was planning which helped me save a bunch of money. He also was meticulous in hiding the wires and doing a neat job. Highly recommend them and I think it was a fair price for the large number of work items I had. He even helped with some unplanned items which was great.

They installed a transfer switch for a portable generator. Clean, quick and thorough job. Won't hesitate to refer them.

Minh and his folks installed recessed lights for us. They arrived on time and the whole installation process took less time than I expected. They also covered everything as needed before started and cleaned and vacuumed afterward. It's always easy to discuss the project with Minh. He is very knowledgeable and always provides different options and pros and cons, and he also responds very fast. I will definitely hire Minh again.

Julio was fantastic. Quick to respond, and helped walk me through some troubleshooting to avoid having someone out in the first place. Turned out I needed help, at which point he fit me into a busy schedule and got the work done in short order. Best electrician experience I have had by far. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, honest...and every other superlative.

Got a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed. It was easy to communicate for estimate via Yelp. He arrived on time and was done in 30 min. Price was competitive. Would recommend!

We purchased our first EV vehicle and Duke installed the home charger for us. Duke worked around our schedule and made sure the job was done right for a reasonable price. We had ordered a BMW EV charger and after Duke installed it we found out the charger was faulty. He helped us uninstall the charging unit and said he would come back to reinstall the new unit as soon as we received it. Although he had done his job and it was not his fault the unit was faulty, he never mentioned payment. We reordered a different unit and as soon as we received it, he made arrangements to come and finish the job. He did an excellent job.

We also had Duke install two electrical plugs in our fireplaces. He did an excellent job with those as well. I highly recommend Duke's services.

After sorting through two other license electricians we got this outfit to do a major electrical job at our home based based on personal reference.  They have done work for both commercial and residence.  This outfit is the best of the best.  Prompt service.  Professional work.  Reasonable price.  Friendly.  Outline the works to be done in a clear and concise manner.  Work done in compliance with codes and regulations.

Nadav and his crew did an amazing job installing a 220v outlet and a couple of 110v outlets in our townhouse.  We were installing a dual fuel stove - Nadav made a thorough pre-inspection of the house and had the forethought to ask for the stove specifications to make sure that the outlet was properly placed for the installation.  He also came up with a creative solution that avoided removal of any drywall.  His crew was courteous and conscientious, leaving the work area cleaner than when they started.  For the final inspection, Nadav arrived early and met the inspector at the door.  Everything passed with flying colors.  We were very impressed with Nadav's thoroughness and will use him again in the future.  We highly recommend Adary Electric.

I was looking for a electrician to install an 240V outlet for EV charging and Electrica seemed at first to be a good one for the job, but I was disappointed after just a couple of message exchange. First, the quote for the job was pretty high compared to others, almost 2x of the lowest quote, but that's not the only problem. When I asked if the price was negotiable, the guy joked how about $650 (instead of $575). I was taken aback by his arrogance and lack of professionalism. I am not sure why he did that. Was he not serious about his job? Was he under influence when he replied to my message? I mean he can give me any quote he wants but it must be in a professional way to gain people's trust. Obviously his behavior was a big NO for me, so I selected another electrician for the job.

We reached out to Electric Heroes because we needed a Ring Floodlight Camera (wired) installed. They were responsive, set us up with a virtual consultation, and sent us an estimate. Pricing was reasonable, and the technician was friendly, knowledgeable, on time, and got the job done! We are happy with the installation of the camera, and would definitely recommend them!

Dan came out and installed a new ceiling fan box and ceiling fan for us replacing a light fixture and box that wasn't rated for a ceiling fan. He communicated up front his expectations on the timing and price including materials and made an adjustment during the installation for parts not needed off the price. Dan is clearly experienced, professional, observant, and courteous. If you're in need of electrical installation work done I highly recommend his services.
