This time it was the hot water heater. Came home late at night to a minor flood in the garage. Contacted RMB Plumbing and Ray diagnosed the issue over the phone. Came out the next day on time and ready to rumble. The big man gets things done wothout taking any shortcuts and performs high quality work. Freddy and his team repiped our whole house. It is critically important a job like that is done well, so we are incredibly glad that we went with Freedom Underground. Freddy was very communicative, helpful, and answered our (many, many) questions. His team was also kind and easy to work with. They truly value customer service and care about doing quality work.

Additionally, the executive assistant, Edith, went above and beyond to make sure our permitting was handled with the city. I think a lot of companies do not realize the importance of having a good administrative person, so it was so reassuring to work with her.

Sent Viktor a Yelp and responded quickly.   Quoted a great price and was able to come out the next day to install my new garbage disposal.  He arrived and had slippers to change into for the house.  He did a very thorough and precise job.  He made sure that everything was working and made sure there was no leakage what so ever.  He also replaced some small parts to my pipes for no extra charge.  He cleaned up everything before leaving and showed me that my new garbage disposal was working fine without any issues.  Great service and value for the excellent work provided.   Will definitely hire for other small jobs around the house.  Thank you.

This is a busy time of year and I had a fairly basic set of tasks that a handy person could probably do themselves.  I'm not handy.  

My cousin who is a real estate agent recommended them and they responded asking for us to send photos of the issues with a description of the problems.

An appointment was scheduled for two days later with a timeframe of arrival from 1-3.  They called around 1:30 to say they'd be arriving around 2.

Ivan showed up wearing a mask and booties.  He cleared three leaky faucets, unclogged a low flow faucet and fixed a shower that had an internal pipe leak all within 90 minutes.

Pay was all digital via credit card.

Polis did an outstanding job fixing an improperly installed tankless water heater. Thanks to Polis we no longer have the runoff issue causing damage and ugly stains on our walkway and  there is no longer this loud noise permeating through the home when we turn on our hot water faucet. The kids can now sleep soundlessly when I wash clothes late at night. Thanks so much for your help!

Yay for an easy and pleasant experience!  Two of my light fixtures weren't working.  I went on Yelp to ask for quotes, and I heard back very quickly from Voltz.  A call was scheduled, and Matt called me right on time.  He was very positive and informative.  We scheduled an appointment.  Two great guys (Mike and Christian) came right on time for the appointment.  They were super nice, and tolerated my barking dog with kindness and patience.  Mike and Christian jumped up on ladders (not my forte!) and diagnosed the issue.  They were willing to go to Home Depot (after getting my input) and bought new sconces.  They were installed quickly.  The new sconces work and look great.  This was so easy.  Why can't other house repairs go so well?  I have had such bad experiences in the past with other folks not knowing what to do, ordering the wrong part, showing up late.  This was the complete opposite.  Professional, nice, and efficient.  Highly recommend!

I really appreciated Chase's service - his rates were reasonable, he came by within an hour of a call, and while my issues ended up being pretty minor, one of them didn't even have to do with electricity ;), he really helped and made things so much easier for my elderly dad! Recommend!

Thank you Matt for the lead on contacting PG&E. Following his hint, I contacted PG&E and they came out and fixed the connectors on my roof and the problem seems to have been solved. Appreciate your message. +1 for that. You solved my problem without even coming to my home and without needing to spend on the solution.

I was looking to install some outlets in the attic to power my outdoor security cams.  I also wanted to fix the porch light fixture, but that was a second priority item.

I called Minh and he came pretty much right away and on time.  He brought an assistant with him, or maybe it was a trainee?  Either way, I appreciated the professionalism Minh showed not only to me but especially to the trainee/assistant on how to get into the attic and find the right location for the outlets and getting the power up there.  They installed 6 outlets right in the locations I asked for and they were done in nothing flat.  Way ahead of expectations!

The price was reasonable and cheaper than most of the other quotes I got.  

And as an added bonus Minh was kind enough to test the porch fixture to see if it really was broken (it was) and then offered to swing by after I purchase a replacement to install it without any additional cost.

I have another project I need to do (replacing ventilation fans in the bathrooms) that i'm definitely going to Minh for.

Roger and his team did a great job on installing the recessed lights in my living room and family room and changing the sub-panel in my garage. They are very professional and able to provide the most valuable recommendations/answers every time when I had questions, ex how many lights, what color temperature and light angles. Our living room and family room are much brighter now and we all love it.

So I do recommend Roger and will definitely use Formosa Electric again in the future

I have used Duke Electrical Services several times and each time the experience has been really great. I highly recommend this company. The first time I used Duke I was in a bind and needed someone immediately.  I explained this to Duke and he was there within one hour.  He efficiently fixed the problem. The second time I called him, he came out the same day, ordered the needed circuit breaker and sent his crew the next morning who were also great to work with. The 3rd time, he really had to come up with a creative solution to an electrical wiring issue (older house). He was resourceful and got the job done. He is very knowledgeable and will try to make the repair as economical as possible, in other words, he will not try to make the job more expensive than it needs to be.  He is a very honest man. I highly recommend him for all your electrical needs.

Everything that has already been said is true.  I had an electrical problem in my condo in Daly City and Nadav had one of his men contact my tenant and was there as promised.  He quickly discovered the problem and not only resolved it but saw other potential wiring problems and corrected those as well.  Nadav called me personally to explain what the problem was and what was done to rectify it.  

He charged me for a one hour call, which I thought was extremely reasonable and fair.  I will definitely be using Nadav for my future electrical needs.

Nick is extremely professional and very knowledgeable. We wanted a 14-50 outlet installed for our new EV and he helped us with this project. Requested for a quote on yelp and he texted back within 10 minutes. He was very communicative during the whole process. I purposefully asked him a lot of questions and threw a lot of options at him. He clearly explained how everything works, pros & cons and installation costs for each of the options. Gave suggestions about what will work best in my scenario and never pushed me to pick one over the other. Would definitely recommend him for any kind of electrical work.

I hired Electric Heroes (EH) to put up two GFCI outlets, one in each of my two toilets, so that we can use a toilet bidet seat.  I had sent out a request on Yelp, and many companies with good reviews felt that a heating bidet would require a dedicated line and so they would not install one in a condo.  Electric heroes and only one or two others responded.  Only EH gave me a free virtual estimate of $760 for the job, $380 for each toilet.  The estimate did not include the patch up job that would be required; I could hire a handyman myself to do that later.  Little did I know that it would be a real horror! (See attached photos)  I finally hired EH.  They did come on the scheduled day, took about half an hour to tell me what they would do, and also verified using a meter that the bidet would not require a dedicated line.  Anyway, he said that he would require to make about 8 holes in one toilet and 6 in the other and that there is no other way to do this job.  Well, he was a real nice guy and I agreed.  After he was done, we were rather shocked to see the large number of gaping holes.  Well, since this is the only way it can be done, I paid them and then hired a handyman again through Yelp to help close the holes.  He arrived and told me (he does electrician jobs too) that EH had really made a mess and spoiled the wall.  They had drilled a hole at every slat point so that they could in turn drill a hole through that slat to pass a wire.  He said that he had drill bits up to six feet long so that with just three and two holes (respectively), he could have finished a job.  He also showed me a video where he created only five holes to pass a wire from one end of a living room to another via a roof.  He also said that for $760, he would have even patched the holes and painted the wall, not just done the electric work.  Anyway.  I had to pay $540 to do the patch work and painting.  So the total cost of the job came to $1300, $650 per outlet!

I had setup an apt with Dan Matthews through HomeAdvisor but he never showed, return my call or text.

Would not recommend.

Lots of good reasons for a 5 star review - prompt communication, honest billing - he actually billed less than his quote when he realized the work was less than he quoted, showed up on time and did the work quickly and delivered high quality work.  Will definitely be a repeat customer.

My house had some power outage during the big storm at the around the beginning of December. I called more than 5 electricians and ask them to come over to diagnose the issue. Everybody is fully booked and David is the only person who is willing to have a look at the issue at his VERY BUSY schedule. It turned out to be that PG&E power line is the issue, of course, David pointed out. His advise really helps me to identify the cause of the issue and I am very appreciated that his willingness to come over. I left an impression that he is a very caring and professional person. I will definitely contact him when the next electrical problem comes up.
