I have worked with Ray on job sites for many years now. I can always count on him to get the job done right. That is rare these days as many in the trades know. I have not had any complaints from my customers about his workmanship and attitude, most find him easy to get along with and great sense of humor. We recommend him and we still continue to use him to this day.

My 60-year-old galvanized main water line pipe decided to spring a leak one cold Saturday evening... I had to scramble to turn the water off at the meter. As soon as I did, I started calling around plumbers that could come out quickly to help me fix the pipe, as I had no water in the house of 5 people. No showers, washing hands, or using toilets.
4 guys came out, Freddy from Freedom was 2nd lowest offer. What sold me on his quote was that he was going to use a trenchless tunneling system called the HammerHead (minimize trenching and destruction of 50 feet of my yard) and the fact that he suggested that he install a pressure regulator without being asked (unlike the other plumbers). The pressure regulator is important because after replacing a 60-year-old corroded galvanized steel pipe with a brand new copper line, the water pressure in the house could go up dramatically, causing damage to appliances and pipes in the house. Freddy even agreed to install a Flo by Moen leak detection system at no additional charge.
I am glad I decided to go with Freddy, his guys showed up on time the next morning, as agreed. His crew of guys (Christian and 4 others) worked non-stop, tirelessly, and professionally. I could definitely tell the guys take pride in their work, they all did a fantastic job.

Viktor came today to help with hanging and installing artwork and bathroom accessories for his in our new place. I am the worst at that sort of stuff so having his service is basically the difference between months of procrastination or having it done!  He was on time, did good work and was reasonably priced.  We really appreciate his help to make our new place one step closer to our home

My master shower was leaking and Mia in the office told me the best move would be for me to order the part because they couldn't source it themselves. Once it was delivered, they came out - on time - and dropped it in place and the shower is as good as new.
Contrast that to another plumber I had called earlier who wanted to send someone to look and diagnose the issue in person, then charge me for the labor to go to a supplier in person to try to find the part, then charge me a 35% markup on the part, then come back and install. Fortunately the other plumber didn't show up on time so I cancelled them and called Alansi instead. Now I know.

I had a heavy water leak coming from my master bedroom shower faucet. Polis Plumbing was responsive and fixed a 25+ year old shower cartridge that was  old.
Rabo was my plumbing technician and he took on this challenge and fixed that wasteful leak.

We have an old home, and by old, I mean over 100 years old! I did a lot of research on electricians and we ended up going with Voltz electric to update our old wiring. Firstly, Matt (the owner) was clearly knowledgeable on older homes. Further, he came by to give us an estimate and he was thorough and efficient in his analysis. But even better, he was honest. He didn't dramatize or sugarcoat anything, which we really appreciated. We decided to go forward and have them update our wiring. For a day and a half, Mike, Francisco, Andrew and Chris were here to do the work. They showed up on time, explained the plan, checked in with us about any changes prior to them making decisions, and kept everything clean. They finished on time, and answered all kinds of questions from us and cleaned up well. And the quote was exactly what we ended up paying. Yay for no surprises! We will certainly be going back to Voltz Electric for our future electric needs. I'd recommend them to everyone! They are great!

Thank you Julio for responding so quickly to assess our blown circuit breaker for the kitchen area. Our furnace is not working and we were plugging in too many floor heaters to stay warm. After reading the positive Yelp reviews, I contacted Julio who quickly made an appointment the same day. Julio and team quickly fixed the problem. Roger is a professional and licensed electrician with enthusiasm. He replaced all the old electrical wires in my house and installed recessed lights in all of my rooms. The work was completed nice and fast. I believe it takes many years of experience to perform such a great job. My place is in San Jose, so I believe his service covers the whole Bay area. Duke and Bennie were wonderful. They were punctual, professional and true experts of their craft. We needed a series of installations and repairs ranging from connectivity, fixtures and an EV charger installs. All were done with precision, efficiency and care. What made our experience even better was Duke's and Benny's kind nature, respect and looking out for what is best for us. Duke recommended and suggested options for cost savings. I called California Power and Light over the weekend with an emergency situation, we had a breaker that was repeatedly tripping and we couldn't figure out why. It was urgent because my wife and I have 18 month old twins and their room just happened to be on this breaker, which meant no night light and no white noise machine for them, which means they had trouble sleeping and so did we! Henry came over personally on a Saturday to troubleshoot the situation, he was upfront on fees and charges and advised us to wait and see if it happened again, no pressure to spend money we didn't need to, no hard sell. He answered the call himself and came when he said he would, he left his card and asked us to call him if it happened again, which it did, the next day. So I texted Henry on a Sunday morning and he said he would have someone out to our house between 1-2 that afternoon. Sure enough, an electrician was here, prompt, courteous, and professional. He replaced two breakers for us and stayed to ensure everything was working. This company is prompt, friendly, local, they know their stuff and their rates are reasonable. I'm sure we'll have electrical needs in the future, we have an older home and it will need upgrades, California Power and Light will be at the top of my list to call. Henry is focused on quality and customer service and he answers the phone on off hours when most folks will send you to voicemail. Call him and give him your business if you need an electrician, you won't be disappointed!

Dan did an excellent job replacing can lights in our kitchen/family room with new LED fixtures and lights. Nice guy.  Very efficient and good value.

Hired Echibon to replace a 240v outlet to a 120v outlet. Our old microwave/convection oven died and we wanted to replace it with a regular built in microwave.

Long story short, these guys came on time. Honor the quote they gave (honoring quotes are rare these days), and did a great job. They were cleaned up afterwards and were very professional.

I contacted multiple electricians when I smelled burning smoke from an outlet. Fast Handy was the only one available to send someone out the same day. Their electrician showed up about and 2 hours past the window, which was ok since this was a last minute service call and the office did call me to let me know he was running late.

To make a long story short, the electrician left an hour later without getting to the root of the problem because he was feeling very sick. He told me he would come back the following day to finish the job but he did not show up the following day. I called the office and was told he called in sick and they were not sure when he would return.

I immediately started panicking because the electrician did not wear a mask the entire time he was inside my house. When he arrived at my house he told me he was vaccinated so he didn't need to wear one even though I told him that I have an elderly mom with compromised immune system. He only told me he had a bad headache all day after he spent an hour in my house.

He was a nice guy but I was very upset that he chose not to wear a mask when he wasn't feeling well all day. I was mad at myself for not insisting that he wear one. Luckily I had my mask on the entire time and had my mom stay at my sister's until my covid test results came back negative.

I ended up going with another electrician to finish the job because they could not tell me when they would be able to send someone else out.

I was SO impressed by my entire experience with David -- not only did he answer his phone, but came over promptly (and it's not as if he doesn't have tons of business -- he got about 50 calls while he was at my house!).  He went to the store and picked out the lighting parts we needed (other electricians told ME to go do it), sent me pictures of his choices, and had our landscape lighting repaired that day. Furthermore, he followed up that night to make sure it was working properly.  Super professional, knowledgeable, full service-oriented -- my new electrician for life!
