Ray was extremely responsive. He came by to do a job that required cutting to into drywall to replace a part.  He arrived with another person who he appeared to be teaching. From his interactions with his partner, it was clear Ray is extremely knowledgable about plumbing. I was very happy with the work they did. We would call him again for any plumbing issue or even a bathroom remodel.

Thanks for installing a new water line for us! The job was done professionally and timely. The cost is pretty reasonable as well. I can not be more happy with it.

Thank you very much for taking care of our basement toilet issue. Rotor Rooter was sure it would be a main branch issue and some other install in which they would need to take out the entire toilet, a $450 proposal, but you fixed it with just a drain cleaning. You assured me it would be fine for a very long time and so far so good. Sorry it took so long to leave a comment even though I did propose a discount if i were to leave one. But your service is well deserved.

I chose Polis Plumbing to replace our water pressure pump and tank. I am giving them 5 stars judging on the following criteria:

Communication: I contacted 4 local business for an estimate. Polis was the quickest to get back to me. Their response time both before and after I selected them for the job was very prompt.  

Price: pricing from all the estimates I got was around the same range, with Polis being slightly on the lower end. Their price for this specific project was fair.

Quality of work: this wasn't the first time i replaced the water pressure tank and pump and the quality of work with Polis was much better then the previous company. They finished the job quickly, professionally, and to my satisfaction.

Customer service: I value customer service above all else. There are lots of companies that can do the same job for the same price, so in my opinion, what truly sets them apart is customer service. I want to know that if something goes wrong, I can rely on my plumber to stand behind their work. I texted Emil 2 days after installation because I was worried that the pump might be getting a little too hot. He called me back within minutes and came by my house immediately to check the pump and reassure me that it was working normally. They offer 1 year warranty on their work.

I will update this review if necessary, but as it stands I would recommend Polis without hesitation and would consider them again for future projects.

Voltz Electric upgraded our recessed lighting in the kitchen and replaced surface mounted lights in the bathrooms.  We're very happy with the work and Matt was very responsive.

One of the few electricians that responded to my inquiry on Yelp during thanksgiving week. Came over the week after to fix our GFIC outlets and fix some of the bathroom outlet fixtures. Punctual and honest about the cost of each task - he even told me I could even do one task myself if preferred.

Overall a great experience. Would use the service again!

WG Electric helped me with a next day install of my Tesla Charger.  Great experience.  I gave them a few instructions for how I wanted the charger positioned and then left to pick up the Tesla.  By the time I returned a couple hours later it was complete and ready to charge.  I've been using the charger for a month and everything is perfect.  They also arranged the city permit and handled everything including the inspection.  So, complete turn-key.  Great service!  Thanks!

Minh was a pleasure to work with. Super patient whenever I had any questions. Always showed up on time to start work. He spent extra time to avoid cutting unnecessary holes for routing wires for power. In some cases he spent more of his own time to drill through existing wooden studs when he could have just cut more holes to make his own life easier. The holes he cut were small and rectangular. He used a nail gun to attach the hole to the wall so that the drywall person would have an easier time. I had about 52 recessed lights installed through out the house. Two of the rooms had high ceilings. Minh and his team are honest and I would hire them again for any electrical or lighting work needed. He has a level of professionalism that I'm sure carried over from his past role as an electrical engineer.

Julio and his brother are the coolest and most down to earth guys I have meet in a while. I called Absolute Power and got lucky with a quick appointment. Julio and bro stopped by and gave me great advise on some wall switches I wanted replaced. He could of just installed the parts I had but instead told me to return hardware and he provided the correct switches. I will for sure be calling him back for some electrical work in my garage.

Roger and his team is absolutely amazing. He did an amazing job on the install of my generator outlet/electric box to my main electric box.  Roger and his team arrived early, installed quickly and tested the line to make sure it was working.  After everything was completed they left the site very clean.  I did a lot of research on who to go with this install and am very glad I chose Formosa Electric.  I won't hesitate to call Roger again for any of my electric needs.

Duke recently re-wired our entire (built in 1940) house to replace knob and tube and do the lighting for our kitchen remodel.  He was always on top of communication, on-time, professional and gave us the best quote out of 4 for a whole house re-wire and panel replacement.  AND he gave us good advice about some of the other work we needed to have done and referred us to some other professional tradespeople for some of those other things, such as dry wall installation and patching. We are very happy we were introduced to Duke and we recommend him whole heartedly.  If you need an electrician, you cannot go wrong with Duke!

Dryer wasn't heating and appliance repairman told me the problem wasn't the dryer, it was an electrical issue. Electrician from CP&L came out and checked the circuits (they were fine) and also determined that there was no visible heat damage to the power cord. He said that the repairman was wrong and the problem wasn't electrical. He recommended a licensed appliance repair company and I contacted them and they fixed the issue, which was a sensor in the dryer. Appreciate the electrician's checking things and also giving me a good recommendation for appliance repair.

Here is yet another testament to the five star rating for Nadav!   I called about a rental that reported problems with a circuit breakers that required hard resets.  Nadav was extremely helpful and suggested a few basic checks to save the expense of a call, but I told him it was worth the expense to make sure everything was okay.  He was very responsive and contacted the renters to coordinate a time to visit the following day.

They discovered a faulty breaker and promptly replaced it as well as checking a few other items the renters had questions about.  The fee was very reasonable and the service absolutely excellent!  

I highly recommend Nadav and his crew who are now my go-to electricians!

I contacted Nick in the evening to come over to fix a dead GFIC outlet in my kitchen after another electrician canceled on me.  Nick came over the next morning and was able to replace the outlet and got it replaced within the hour.  He is responsive and very reasonably priced compared to other quotes I received.

Very professional and courteous people. We had great experience. They stand behind their work. Also very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.

Dan came out the same day that we called, was able to give us a best guess estimate over the phone. Was super knowledgeable, able to figure out and fix the problem pretty quickly. His estimate was right on, and he took all types of payment.

I feel fortunate to have founr Jim. He is very qualified, detail oreiented, punctual and communicates well. Says what he will do and does what he says. Very pleased with his work. He installed 2 bathroom fans, where there weren't any and changed a kitchen ceiling light out. I will use his services again, should i need anything electrical! And Jom is a nice guy too!! Edwin and his team member Kelly did a fantastic job.  On a Sunday evening, my sub panel started arking and giving out static currents.  Edwin came over, diagnosed the problem and set up the appointment next morning to replace the sub panel which was an old Zinsco sub-panel.  Kelly and Edwin worked for 5-6 hours and replaced the sub-panel to quality standards.  Very happy with the work.  Thank you.

JR Electric did a wonderful job replacing our electric panel. David, the owner, did a wonderful job contacting me via text and phone calls through the entire process. I have two young kids and David's updates through texting was helpful and appreciated. Heads up, replacing your electric panel is a long and painful process, it took a little longer than one month to have the panel replaced. This is due to the fact that PG&E and the city need to be involved. Permits and applications need to be filled out and filed. All three people: electrician, PG&E, and a City inspector need to be present on the same day to replace the panel. There are so many hoops to jump through. Both David and Sergio explained all the steps I needed to do in order to speed up the process. They came a week before to do the pre work as well. If you are needing your panel replaced, go with JR Electric.
