I asked Ray to come by to give me a quote for running a line to the far side of my house and put in a hose bib for watering plants in that area. He came with his worker who crawled under my house to determine the extent of the job. Together they evaluated the job and what materials they would need. Ray gave me a very reasonable price and we set a date when they would do the work. They came the morning of the job and went right to work. Several hours later they had completed the job and packed up their tools to head off to the next job. Ray and Jose even installed insulation over the main lines under the house to deaden the noise while they were under there.
All in all, it was an A+++ job!
We couldn't be happier. Ray and Jose answered any questions I had from start to finish. Ray is honest, hard working, and I wouldn't hesitate to call him for the next plumbing job I have.

Freddy and crew installed a sewer property line clean out for us in the front yard, and their work is professional and efficient at a quoted rate that slightly beat other local services.  Freddy was a friendly and courteous communicator by phone, email, and text, and he and his crew worked over the bizarre time between December and January holidays, mostly working while we were away on vacation.  They pulled the permit, dug the trench, and did the job in about 2 or 3 working days over a 3-week period, with no troubles or complications that I'm aware of.  They safely covered the open trenches during the wait time while the city inspector was unavailable, and they always left our house plumbing connected & fully functional.  I informed them that replacing the yard turf didn't matter much to me as we plan to tear it all out soon anyhow, so I can't judge if they would do a great job on that if desired.  I was able to inspect the work before it was covered up and it looked clean and professional to me (admittedly, no plumbing expertise).  Paid as quoted, done and good!  Nice!

The only thing holding Freedom Underground back from a 5-star review is that some of the formal communication follow-through never happened.  One of my tenants got cranky when the crew showed up to work without prior notice (we'd cleared the general idea of when work might happen, but I'd asked Freddy to tell me when they actually would begin and he didn't), and I asked repeatedly for a copy of a final paper invoice and/or permit information - no luck there.  Still, this is relatively small stuff and I'd use Freedom Underground again, just so long as having precise notification of work and followup paperwork weren't mission-critical for me (they usually aren't for residential plumbing work, so that's fine).  

For me, the most helpful part about this job was that Freddy & crew were happy to do the job with my limited (read: near impossible) availability, so we never met in person, I was never present on site for work, and most communication was texts and after-hours voicemails.  My work life is busy and this is how I operate, so I appreciate others who can match my needs there, and it wasn't a problem for Freedom Underground.

Sent Viktor a Yelp and responded quickly.   Quoted a great price and was able to come out the next day to install my new garbage disposal.  He arrived and had slippers to change into for the house.  He did a very thorough and precise job.  He made sure that everything was working and made sure there was no leakage what so ever.  He also replaced some small parts to my pipes for no extra charge.  He cleaned up everything before leaving and showed me that my new garbage disposal was working fine without any issues.  Great service and value for the excellent work provided.   Will definitely hire for other small jobs around the house.  Thank you.

This is to update my review from a couple years ago. Same problem - blocked main house drain, same rating - five stars. Alansi's responded quickly, fixed the problem, price reasonable. These guys know what they're doing.

We have a 100+ year old house, and it's not surprising there are plumbing problems. Beyond fixing the blockage problem, Alansi's plumber Mo took the time to draw a diagram and explain the problem to me,  recommended that I monitor the problem, and if the backups become too frequent, I would need to replace the house sewer line to the street, which is old/clay pipe.

Polis is the go-to plumbing company for our 1980's home.  Emil's customer service is the best. He responds to calls promptly and provides competitive estimates. The on-site work and customer service provided by Rado has been excellent. He installed a new kitchen faucet and side sprayer, replaced the outdoor water pressure regulator and recently replaced our washing machine water outlet assembly. He communicates throughout the process to inform us of his actions and findings. He is careful and clean in our home.

This last project involved cutting through our drywall to replace enclosed pipes due to a leak when we were installing our new washing machine. He neatly replaced the patch and sealed the wall once complete, so that finishing the wall texture and painting was an easy DIY job.  We highly recommend their services.

My phone line stopped working and these guys we're really responsive in troubleshooting the problem and figuring out a fix. Prices are really reasonable too. I'd definitely recommend them.

Yes, Simply Electric is just that! Minh and his assistant were prompt, efficient, and left no trace after the job was done. They installed a NEMA 14-50 outlet below my electrical panel in about an hour. Their price are very competitive and Minh was prompt to message me. Other electricians I reached out to didn't respond or were slow to get back to me. Plus, Minh was available whereas others I would have to book one, two weeks out.

Very good electricians. Found the problem and fixed it.

When you call, the owner runs you through some steps to try to fix the problem over the phone. When it doesn't work, he or his employees come to the house. Most electricians go straight for the house call.

Roger and his team helped me with panel upgrades and established dedicated lines. The team is professional. They finished the jobs nicely within the same day which is surprising to me as this also includes handling pg&e and permit. They even brought the power generator which is thoughtful. I would definitely recommend contact Roger for electric related jobs.

Very rude. I have no idea how he got his rating. Came in to provide estimate and walked out abruptly without saying even bye when he realized this is not a $10K+ job.

These guys deserve all of their 5-star ratings! They were able to see me quickly, waited patiently while I called a couple other people to make sure their price was competitive (it was), worked quickly to accommodate my schedule, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves! They were so nice, and it's just so nice to deal with nice people! If I ever have more electrical work I will def call them. (I had a circuit put in for an above the range microwave, some outlets in the kitchen switched to GFI, and a light fixture installed.) Also worth mentioning is that the guy who actually ended up doing the work was not licensed, but working toward his license. He said he had been with CP&L for 3 years and he did a great job so I was fine with that.

There are some really great things about Adary electric.  They are super responsive and accommodating.  I had a situation where light blew in a main room of the house so I urgently needed new lighting with the upcoming holidays.  Responsiveness deserves 5 stars in squeezing me in.  The workers were very pleasant and knowledgeable.  Also 5 stars.   What I'm not excited about is the value.   They gave me one option, a fixed proposal/quote that presumed double the effort of what it took.   Assumed 2 guys for a day, and took 1 guy 1/2 a day to install recessed lighting in a small den.  Thus, the ultimate price ended up being much steeper than time and materials for this relatively simple job.  There also was not recognition that the scoping could have been materially off in this case or any concession..even a fraction...only justifications for other cases going over and listing of floor coverings and $20 dimmer, etc in the cost (p.s. Was $1850). This was 5 halo 4 lights, easy wiring (no holes other than for the cans).  I understand a fixed bid runs the chance it would go over, but this was an easy job and not some crazy electrical re-do with unknown problems.  So in this case, my bad for not shopping others or having a tone and materials option.  Beware of fixed proposals unless you are sure of the effort needed.   Likely won't use them again unless I get multiple bids and am confident about the scope and effort involved.

Updated 72 hours after service:

For those considering engaging this business.  Please be aware this is a photo of the email response from the business owner.  Things to note (1)  the estimate (aka contract proposal) was overblown and assumed a tricky job as no attic above lights, but turned out there was a lot of headroom making the job easy (2) business attacks customer versus listens and does addresses concerns (3)seeks to muffle adverse social media opinion (4) threatens small claims court and multiple demands for payment in under 72 hours. (5) threatens defamation for citing fact on yelp.

Like some many garages there's never enough outlets and as a result we had power extension bars and cords for garage openers, lights, treadmill, tv, car charging, etc. In order to get this organized and to balance out the load on the system I asked for quotes for installation of 5 outlets.  Nick came to the house and we discussed our needs. He then recommended having three circuits installed: one for the threadmill (draws a lot), one for outlets including one where I charge our electric car (using 120v) and one circuit for the two garage openers and having 3 of the outlets be quads and the other two dual. On the day of the installation Nick and his helper arrived on time and during the day installed the circuits with all wires in conduit and boxes and outlets of higher quality.  We are pleased with the end results and have been able to get rid of all the extra extensions. We would definitely use Electrica again.

Scheduled for virtual estimate on X day. Showed up (virtual estimate) on the wrong day. Apologized, and agreed to meet on correct day. Then... flaked on the correct day, even after being contacted the day of.

Dan helped me install a Tesla Wall Connector and did a great job. He explained all the options was informative and responsive. I would highly recommend his service.

Had an urgent need to get electrical outlet installed outside of the house when I was switching from cable to fiber.  Went through the usual Yelp process to get quotes, had a couple of very high quotes that didn't seem reasonable.  Then, one of the merchant called back didn't have availability, but recommended EChiBon.  With in minutes, Jim (business owner) responded and we corresponded over text to get him the details of what's needed, sent pictures and etc, he was onsite within a couple of hours and got the job done.

Although a small job, but given the experience and the perceived competence, I won't hesitate to use EChiBon again in future jobs.

I had a problem with the lights flickering in my home. Called a reputable electrician, who came out to my home and indicated that it was a light fixture in the bathroom.  Suggest I buy another light fixture and they would install it. Which they did, I asked if that was the problem and they said yes.  WRONG!!!! The flickering lights continued until Finally I called Fast Handy.  They came out and immediately found that the problem was in the panel, one of the circuit breakers was hot and loose. No hesitation, problem fixed.  Theses guys were awesome, I fact they also installed new smoke alarms in my home.  
They are extremely professional and it was a pleasure to have them in my home.   I highly recommend this company.  They are now in my phone book.

Ok- here's a lesson that probably many of you know... find out where your wires are before hanging your TV!  We didn't and wouldn't you know that I picked the spot on the wall that would perfectly puncture our wires (not one but three).  Dave and Sergio came out and fixed everything while consulting me on the way.  Here's my highlights:
- Fast at responding- answered my call at 2pm and made an appt for next day at 10am
-  Great at communicating - called me at 8:30 to say they could be over earlier if that was alright.  Other issues came up and he let know what was happening to ensure I understand and agreed.
- Fantastic at solving the problem- did not leave until it was complete!
