I came across City Plumbing on Yelp and reached out, since the plumbing company recommended by my HOA wanted to charge a $99 estimate fee which I thought was pretty high.  City was much more reasonable in this regard at $45.  I had City come diagnose 2 dripping faucets but what got me was what seemed like a very expensive quote to replace those faucets.  They mentioned they would have to completely replace the faucets, which ended up being 3 because 2 of them are in the same bathroom and would need to match.  They quoted $500 per faucet if I bought my own hardware, and $750 per faucet if they helped me get one similar.  I'm looking into a cheaper alternative but I'd recommend getting a second or third opinion for large jobs and if it's a simple replacement, you may be able to find a cheaper handyman to help you.

I have a single family residence and I knew the old clay sewer line was at least 50 years old. I had Armando visit the house and he gave me a very fair price for a 100 plus foot sewer line, and an additional liner to the middle of the street. The job started when CARLOS came to the house and supervised the job from start to finish. At the end of the job they were working in the rain, but this company is so well equipped they had tents, lights, heaters, and every tool imaginable. CARLOS is knowledgeable, fast, a gentleman, and exacting. He was able to run the job and all the trucks and men that came to do the sewer line, and another truck that came to do the lining. Wish I could give 10 stars.

RIPOFF!!  I was quoted $125/hr to have a toilet installed. It ended up costing me $425.  They had to trim a piece of marble and it took about 2 hours total. I asked why the $425 and the plumber said they normally don't trim marble. WHAT? It's PART OF THE JOB!! $125/hr is $125 an HOUR!! I don't car what they have to do!! I called the management later and they said they would give me a partial refund. That was over a month ago.  Never received the refund. SCAMMERS!! I will never use them again.  STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

I have been hearing a running water sound in my bathroom for weeks now. Tried to inspect around the house but couldn't find anything. I called Sal's plumbing and Thomas came to my house right away. Thomas did a good job in repairing the leak under my house. I have a small entrance in my crawl space and he managed to get in and did the repair. Good job Thomas. I definitely recommend him!

I love the response and care that I took off my call. They responded right away, then Carlos came the next morning and efficiently cleared my drains from all the gross stuff that was keeping it clogged. I will definitely recommend this company. Our  hot water heater malfunctioned and we had no hot water. We called David on Thursday morning after the plumber assigned by our Home Warranty company told us we would have to wait until the next day to get help. David came over the same day, despite his very busy schedule and replaced a thermal coupling on the hot water heater and also solved an issue we've been having for the  past 6 months : no cold water, only warm water would come out of all the faucets(hard for teeth brushing). After following his simple instructions, we now have hot and cold water when we need it. We are very pleased with his service and will call him for all our plumbing needs from now on.

Seriously, these guys are the best, super professional from start to finish. I called on a Wednesday about connecting a portable washing machine to our bathroom or kitchen sink and they gave me an appointment for the following day. They even asked if I'd like a tech to call in advance so I know they're on the way, which they did about 20 minutes before he arrived. Reilly gave us numerous options for connecting our machine to the water lines in our apartment, citing what would be cheapest for us (even though that meant we wouldn't need his services!) Even though this was supposed to be an estimate, ultimately, he was able to connect our machine properly to one of the lines but still, didn't charge us for the work! Talk about amazing customer service, these guys know how to keep their customers loyal- we'll be using Ford's every time. Thanks again Reilly!

I needed help installing a bidet. Not only did Ruben come out within a couple hours but he was also incredibly professional, pleasant and most reasonably priced (others were asking twice as much). Both he and his staff wore the proper face masks and put on shoe coverings before entering the house. The job took fewer than 10 minutes but was worth every penny. Thank you Ruben!

So, at first I was skeptical--a plumber almost at random to deal with a badly stopped kitchen drain. I thought it was just the trap, but couldn't get it loose so I sprung for a plumber. I got Mike Smith, and -- danger sign, I thought -- he thought it was not the trap but actually in the pipe that went to the main. Unfortunately, the old plumbing had fused to the point where it was inaccessible from under the sink. Also, the house had shifted so that that pipe that went to the main was no longer at an angle and was slowly turning to concrete inside. Well, Mike was entirely correct. We checked the trap--nothing. No way into that pipe except by cutting it, but then what good was it? It would just block up again and still no way to get a snake in there. Mike suggested we put in an access valve in the new pipe so that we'd always be able to get a snake in there in the future, without having to rip out the kitchen to redo the plumbing. Well, it was more expensive than a simple snaking, but we couldn't do that anyway, and it meant that in the future we'd always have a solution. Basically, he was smart enough to save us thousands of dollars, which might have to be spent down the road, but for the moment we have a solution. I liked that he was willing to find us a solution that could fit the budget, and he was honest, and best of all, he was right about everything. Highly recommended.

I wish I could still recommend this business, but since my last review, he didn't show up at the scheduled time (I wrote it down) and then told me I had the time wrong, which I know I didnt. I only needed him to remove a bidet and brita filter which only took 5 minutes, but he charged me $125 for that. Not a fair price at all especially since I was a loyal customer. I won't be using this service again
