Great service. Arrived promptly with short notice. Explains everything and comes across as extremely honest about the work. Got the job done.

They have been to our house on 3 separate occasions in the last year (old pipes). At each visit they were refreshingly professional. They were able to expertly fix each issue in an efficient manner. Moreover, they were very kind and communicative. I never thought I would actually say I look forward to working with a plumber but they are a joy to work with and have very reasonable pricing.

We had flooding on the exterior of our home twice and each time they came out within 15 min and were able to identify the problem quickly. These guys are professional and efficient, could not recommend them more.

After our building was tented for termites, the gas company had to light all the appliances. My water heater was flagged for not venting properly. I arranged for Red Lilly to service my water heater and they were great. Jose was my service provider and he took care of the problem right away. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, but he was easy to talk to and he had a great personality--which always helps!

Dominic came out to my home as I had a leak. He came in and fixed the problem so quickly and efficiently. He was very polite and really knew his stuff. Sals plumbing was able to get my an appointment same day and I'm so glad I called I called them.

Called up BH for help with a bathtub leak. The plumbers arrived on time as scheduled. I had bought a replacement part which turned out to be the wrong fit. They spent the extra time to track the correct part and pick it up to get the job done during the same visit! The work was done professionally on all accounts. Will definitely give them a call again if something comes up with my plumbing!

I had a mystery leak and Simon came out within an hour to do an estimate. Fortunately, we don't have a plumbing issue, but at least we've narrowed down the probable cause. If I ever do have one though, I know who to call! Highly recommend their service!

Here's a 5 star review for a plumbing visit that didn't actually happen... and that is because Mr. Wallace very kindly saved me $100 by offering an accurate and simple fix over the phone for my garbage disposal, which I had tried to fix myself unsuccessfully. I live on the northeast side of Los Angeles and his work area is the southwest - so I was out of his house call district.
He could have simply said I was too far away and politely sent me on my way but he very kindly took the time to offer a quick self-fix suggestion that completely worked. So my plumbing problem is fixed, I saved the house-call fee, and David Wallace rocks.

Hired Ford's to fix a sewer line, it was an old clay pipe that I knew needed to be replaced. Previous owners installed the sewer liner which didn't work, ficus roots were still getting in and had annual backup issues. I agreed to have Ford's dig into the line to repair it but it turned into a massive bill.
Cons:
1. They came back multiple times to bump up the cost by thousands of dollars. Went from $6K to $23K. Six days of on-site over a three week period, some communication between Fords and the City. Had to handle direct communication with the City during the last week.
2. Towards the end, the City came in to finish their part of the job and at that point Riley wanted to close out all the invoices even though they still needed to come back and fill in the dirt for their part of the job. Had to insist we hold the last invoice, should not need to ask for this.
3. The yard was a mess, they make disclaimers in their bid that they are not responsible because they will carelessly throw dirt on your grass lawn, killing the grass, when two feet over is gravel or cement. Guess every inch they need to move is extra money.
4. The workers spent half a day under my house trying to figure out the connection between my raised foundation to the sewer line, not realizing the flat foundation in between made that impossible.
Pros:
2 stars instead of 1 for the pros - the workers were always on time at 8 am, updated before and after they left, final work was approved by the City without issue. Office staff was pleasant and helpful.
I would steer clear of this company, will not be using them ever again.

This is the second time I've enlisted the services of Prodigy Plumbing for my home. Each time they've gone above and beyond repairing the issues to my complete satisfaction. This time my tech was Steven. What a friendly and knowledgeable young man who inspected the issue, repaired the issue and inspected a future issue that will be addressed with Prodigy! Throughout the job, Steven maintained a pleasant and humorous attitude. I appreciated his competence and upbeat demeanor so much that I joined Prodigy's membership club.
Good day off to a great start.

Gas has been off three days now. The wife is getting tired of walking down to her sister's house to take a shower. I'm smelling ripe. I've called plumbers who I used for the master bath remodel and all I get is advice. I finally start calling every plumber in a 5 mile radius of me through Angie's List. I called Craig's Plumbing. He couldn't come today but he referred me to Carrera's Plumbing. Paxton came out 2 hours later with a second plumber, stayed over an hour, replaced a leaking water heater gas valve and checked all the above ground gas piping and only charged $165.00.
Before I called him I did run a check on his contractor's license at CA Consumer Affairs website license lookup. His license is active and he's bonded.

We had a leaky sink, and a couple toilets that needed some of the parts changed. One of the plumbers, Albert, came out and fixed everything after he gave us an estimate that we were very happy with. He fixed things on the spot and was super quick, clean, and we would really recommend this business.

These guys are very honest and very quick. A year ago we had another company tell us that it was going to cost 10-15k to redo our sewer to the street and they fixed it for $200. We've had them out two times after for other issues and they're very consistent. I'm so glad they're here. If you're looking for a plumber you can stop now and call them.

John and RJ Plumbing is not just the best plumber, but probably the best contractor of any type that I have worked with since first becoming a home owner in 2002. I'd give them 6 stars, if I could.
I called about five plumbers to help re-build my tub drain and trap. Four came for an estimate, but just three actually provided an estimate. My house is on a slab, and two of them wanted to jack hammer the slab under my bathroom to get at the drain. It would also mean that I would have to find new 12 tiles, which would never match. John took a little extra time to analyze how the original drain was constructed and came up with a much faster and much less expensive solution. I awarded the job on the spot. The key is EXPERIENCE. Other plumbers will send out a newer technician or a sales person to provide your estimate. As the owner, John has the experience to see the most options and provide the best solution. Fortunately, he also does his own estimates.
He arrived on time, worked with limited access and finished on time and on budget. The work was elegant and completed with a high level of craftsmanship (see photo). Amazing and wonderful. For your next plumbing project, feel free to get additional bids if you like, but make sure that one of them is from RJ. Even with just one job completed, I have a high level trust with RJ Plumbing.

The house was in terrible shape... the toilet was clogged and unplungable, the shower wouldnt stop running, and the temperature of all showers was unchangeable from freezing cold. They sent a plumber named Nick to the house. He quickly assessed the problem, and worked hard to get the repairs handled efficiently. But what i appreciate most is his communication by phone, and how quickly he arrived to handle business. I would definetely reccomend this plumber to anyone!

I'm super glad that I chose Major League Plumbing to help me out with my plumbing situation. Rodrigo was very professional, prompt, and nice all throughout our interactions. He was extremely patient and made sure to give all possible options rather than tunneling to the most expensive option right away. Rodrigo was very transparent about his services and how much it would cost (very reasonable). He was able to quickly diagnose and fixed our shower/sink pressure issue. I will definitely be calling for all future house plumbing issues. Also plus points for having plastic covers for his shoes when he entered the house!!
