****UPDATE AFTER FIRST REVIEW****(1 STAR INSTEAD OF 2)
TL;DR - Owner and technician sent very rude comments to me after leaving a very fair review of services provided to me.  In my original review I recommended them for their good availability but I no longer recommend them for their extremely rude and condescending messages.

I thought my review was pretty fair (two stars out of five) - the tech spent almost two hours trying to fix the problem but ultimately couldn't.  I was very clear on the initial communication that our toilet was leaking and was on the second floor.  I had to pay $65 for a visit when the problem was not fixed or even slightly remediated which at the time I thought was a little bit fair due to him trying to fix the problem for two hours.  Also, expanding on my a very slight rude attitude comment, my wife and I asked him two questions throughout the visit and his responses were literally: it's not funny and give me a second in a very rude manner.  I guess he thought we were being rude ourselves or making fun of him but we absolutely weren't, we were just asking about the problem.  

I was going to leave the review as-is with the two stars but it is a poor business practice that both the owner and the technician wrote to me privately mocking my wife and I.  In this age of social media where the success of a business is mostly driven by feedback left by consumers in these types of forums it amazes me how a well reviewed business could operate like that.  I frankly find it almost comical because the content of the messages don't upset me, what upsets me is that businesses operate like this.

I am attaching pictures of both the private message that the owner sent to me through Yelp and the laughing hard emoji that the technician sent to my personal cell phone after I posted the original review.  If you read my original review carefully you will see that it almost matches the private message that the owner sent to me.  Also, it is funny how the owner has a public and private persona as you can clearly tell from the public reply to my comment that he is very nice and apologetic whereas on the private message sent to me the story is quite different.

Next steps for me - propagate this review through other sites, including my community's Facebook page which includes around 600 households.  I cannot recommend a service that acts in such a childish manner.  Also as next step will be to dispute the $65 charge with my credit card company for services not rendered.

Bad things:
- Did not fix the problem and I still had to pay $65 for service visit, it's a little bit fair because he spent almost two hours trying to fix the problem, but still not good as the problem is still there and now I need to contact someone else to fix
- A very slight rude attitude
Summary:
- May recommend for other jobs as the availability was good but in my case my problem was not solved

George and David came by to check out a rusted natural gas hook up for a grill I hadn't used before.  They were on time and professional.  They determined the existing hook up could be used and did not want payment for the quick visit.  The next time I find a problem that needs to be fixed, I am calling these guys.

Great and professional service!  Armando fixed our shower faucet drip and adjusted the shower handle.  Fixed it right away.  Nicole was great in following up with a phone call and email.  Will contact them for future jobs.  Prompt and reasonable prices.

I am not satisfied with the cost of installing a water heater, it was $350 more expensive than another plumber with the same W/H  three weeks earlier. The plumbers also installed a very short gas flex line that should have been longer, instead installed a shut off valve and short nipple to make up the difference. Which means, two shut of valves 4 in apart on the same line? Is this to code? Giovanni was there to explain it was ok according to him. I had an appointment with him the previous Friday, he never showed up, did not call me that he could not make it.Not professional. We had him over to explain the differences, he was argumentative, bad mouthing the other plumber, etc. I would be stretched to call the company for more work again and not recommend his services to anyone.
Also the company sent an invoice that was NOT the correct W/H installed at the duplex. After working with the font office they corrected the bill to reflect the correct W/H and in discussions with Giovanni, they refunded $$ for the revised billings. All in all somewhat a good ending.

Recently, my in-home garbage disposal went south and stopped working.  Based on great reviews, I decided to contact Sal's Plumbing.  After a few messenger texts, I agreed to have them supply the disposal and the installation.

When the installer came out, he was courteous and professional.  Getting to the electrical plug for the disposal was a bit challenging, but he handled it like a pro and got the installation done.  What I was quoted, is what I paid, no up-sell or surprises.

I won't hesitate in using these guys in the future for my plumbing needs.

So thankful we found him because we were in a very bad/vulnerable situation and he made it as easy as possible. He also showed us pictures and footage of what had happened in our system. It was helpful to work in full transparency.

John came through and fixed our sink in less than 20 minutes. He was very clear, communicated all the longer-term issues (without pressure to up-sell), and got the job done! Really recommend Cal-Rooters!

I am so pleased with Wallace Plumbing and couldn't recommend them more! My landlord reached out to him to respond to a running toilet. Easy to coordinate a mutually agreeable date and time, David showed up just a couple days later.  He showed up on time, had the necessary parts and fixed the problem the first time!  Easy to work with, reasonable and very professional!

Thank you Ford's Plumbing for another reliable and customer-service oriented experience! A former condo building of ours used Ford's, so when we saw some flooding under the sink we called Ford's.  When our service tech, Reilly, arrived this morning, I quickly showed him the pooling of water under our sink and he immediately saw that extendable faucet simply needed to be tightened.  

Although I was thoroughly embarrassed, Reilly said that it was a common occurrence and that he wouldn't charge me since it was such a quick fix.  What amazing customer service!  Call Ford's for your LA plumbing needs!!!!

Prodigy Plumbing is the best! I've used them a few times and will use them again. George came this morning and did a wonderful job. Professional and courteous, they are the best!

Great service and the prices are very reasonable. Tony was very reliable and arrived right on time.

Called and spoke to I believe David, asking to make an appointment to look at our plumbing issues.  Was told that he'd call me back in a few hours and to let me know if he could come when we requested the next morning.  Never got that call, so I called twice and left a voicemail.   Also left a text and never heard back from anyone.  Gave our business to another local plumber and got the job done.

This has to be one of the best plumbers on the planet.  Right on time, clean, super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.  Great price too.  He replaced my shutoff valve in about 15 minutes.  Other plumbers told me 2 hours minimum.  He is a real find.

I was so lucky to find him on Yelp. His quote was much more affordable than others  and yet his work was impeccable and his service was 5 stars.  If you want top notch service at a very reasonable price you won't find better. I highly recommend him.

Kitchen sink backed up, I snaked it with a 50' snake but I needed a 100  footer.  Called Sal's, they came out same day snaked my drain.  Domonique, the technician, was professional and helpful, and removed the issue in 10 minutes.  I will use them again.

I had a clogged sink in the kitchen. Major League Plumbing were available on a short notice, were courteous, timely and fixed everything quickly.
I highly recommend them.
