I had 2 plumbers come out to look at the same job.  One plumber tried to charge $375 just to diagnose the problem...I told them to go home.  Broc was able to diagnose the problem and gave me a fixed quote over the phone.  He showed up on time, stuck to his original diagnosis and quote, fixed the problem quickly and didn't try to up sell me on any unnecessary extras (cameras, fancy cleansing instruments, or anything like that).  Unfortunately, he doesn't quote you an hourly rate, but because he accurately diagnosed the problem upfront and his flat fee for the fix was reasonable, I didn't complain.   For future more extensive work, I might ask for an hourly rate though just to be safe.

Truly wonderful customer service in every way. Osman installed a new kitchen faucet for me and he did a wonderful job. I also wanted to compliment Tanya, the scheduler,  for always keeping me up to date and so courteously helping when things had to be rearranged. This level of first class customer service seems to be something of a rarity any more, so I'm all the more happy to leave a great review for this deserving company. Genuinely warrants the five stars.

After having the plumber we have been using for years come out and having a failed attempt at unblocking our kitchen sink, he mentioned that we had no choice but to put a clean out in the front of our house. Putting a clean out at our house means taking off siding and needing to replace them and repaint the whole section of our house to make sure the paint matched. It's a big ordeal. Because of that, we decided to get a second opinion. I went on Yelp and called 4 other companies before Fix It Quick to see about appointments and they were the only company that could come out quick. I am so happy the other companies said they were busy. Armando from Fox It Quick came out and gave different options to try to get the blockage. As we were cleaning out the underneath part of the sink, he spotted the clean out inside our house. The clean out is not easily accessible due to cabinets being placed around it, so he tried other options first and his plan worked. He got the pipe cleaned and now our kitchen sink works. When the other plumber we used to use had first come, he mentioned that if he did the same thing Armando did, there would be a huge mess and grease would get everywhere including our white cabinets which could get stained. We don't throw grease down our sink at all so it didn't make sense. When Armando opened it up and snaked it, not one drop of anything was under the sink. Not only did he save us a lot of money but he was really helpful, honest and clean. We will definitely be using them from now on. I highly recommend them!

Pipe underneath the house was found leaking pretty bad. I turned off the water and inspected myself. Seemed like a rather easy fix as the only issue was the SharkBite connection between PEX and copper had failed. As this was the main line for the kitchen, it was a priority to get this fixed. Called for emergency services (after hour services and $100 on top of any service cost), and the guy who showed up was nice enough, but from the very get go as I explain the issue, the excuses started. I don't have the right equipment, I may not be able to do it, it's late and it would take me all night if the main shutoff valve doesn't turn off the water. Yes, I understand it's after hours, but that was the reason I requested EMERGENCY services. The objective of the excuses was to try to absolve himself of resolving the issue that night and come back the next morning.

The quote comes back at $700.... $700!!! Now, I'm no plumbing expert, but I've had similar exact issues in the past and know the cost of materials. It's a very quick job if you know what you're doing. Being extremely generous and saying the materials are $100 (5 feet of copper pipe and 2 slip fittings), plus the extra cost of emergency services, which I was still being charged mind you despite him coming back during normal business hours, there is no way in hell that this is a 5 hour. I don't know in what world you get to $700. I was shocked, but reluctantly signed the quote as I needed the work done, and this is with him coming back the next day.

I got no sleep that night being super pissed knowing we were being taken advantage of. As soon as I could, I went to Home Depot at 6AM and got a $10 SharkBite slip fitting. I figured I could at least fix it enough to allow us the water until a real plumber comes and fixes it. By 7am, the job was done. The water line worked well enough and I called to cancel the service. I didn't want the guy needlessly traveling to our house when I already fixed the issue. What motivated even more to try to fix the issue was when I got underneath the house again to try to repair it myself, I reviewed the guy's temporary fix. He had grabbed a piece of plastic and wrapped it around the fitting... He somehow thought this would slow down the issue???? Really? The only reason the pipe was leaking as slow as it was because I turned off the main water supply. Yes, it's still leaking slowly because the pipe isn't fully drained. Hello?!?!

Anyways, I called a real plumber who came out and fixed it on that same day. The price of the fix?? $225. An hour or so worth of labor roughly and whatever material + profit. $700 vs $225. To add insult to injury, the guy from Sal's was trying to sell me on upgrading my pipes to PEX before even fixing the original issue. At least fix the emergency issue first before trying to sell me on new stuff. He said there were some pin hole leaks in two spots. He showed me the pictures. When I went down there, there was zero water where the supposed leaks were. I touched the pipes and grabbed a cloth to see perhaps maybe there was some water and it was too cold for me to notice. Nope. Nothing. Yes, there was corrosion and there may be a pinhole leak sometime in the next couple years, but there wasn't one there now. I felt lied to and like we were being taken advantage of. I'm still mad at the situation and I want others to be aware of this type of service from Sals. Now when I read these 1-star reviews mentioning overpriced service, I totally believe them. I will never ever contact Sals again for any service what so ever.

Installing kitchen faucetss isn't always an easy job, and unfortunately I learned the hard way.

Last Thursday I embarked on a handyman project and sprinted out to Loew's to pick up an easy-to-install American Standard faucet for my kitchen. I also picked up a basin wrench and plumbers putty and figured I would be done by the evening.

Boy was I wrong. After an evening of a flooded kitchen and having to reattach the BROKEN faucet UNDERNEATH the sink (don't ask, it still pains me to think about it) I was phoning David for immediate assistance.

David penciled me in the for the following morning and within 30 mins my leaking, broken faucet was gone and the brand-spanking-new American Standard was installed and ready to go. As I manage an income property, he also offered to take a look at all the other faucets and valves outside for leaks, free of charge, even tightening loose valve's no problem.

I figured I was going to save a buck doing the project myself. Well I should have called David in the first place. Quick, efficient & affordable!

Will 100% recommend him to anyone with plumbing problems!

They were the third plumbing service to respond to our problem, and even though it seems minor, it was wonderful that they answered the phone, scheduled a quick appointment, and arrived for their appointment as promised. This was on top of diagnosing and fixing the problem quickly. Thank you Ford's Plumbing for doing such a great job.

Had a plugged line in kitchen.  Carlos and Marco came out within a few hours and tried to snake it, but pipe was plugged too bad.  They came out the following morning and hydrojetted all the way to the sewer.  It was easier than expected, so he charged me even less than quoted initially.  A nice surprise.  Great guys, very professional, excellent service, great price.  I highly recommend Prodigy.  Thanks again Carlos and Marco.

Carrera's Plumbing was recommended to me by a friend after I waited 10 days to have my water heater fixed by a horrible company!  I called Pax at 6pm and by 930am the next morning I had a brand new working water heater, and he saved me 350$.  Paxton was quick, efficient, and doesn't try and rip you off.  By the reviews on here you can tell he's mostly word of mouth and I would highly recommend him.

Our water heater died and started leaking everywhere at 7:30 am on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. I was convinced I would be without hot water throughout the holiday weekend until at least Tuesday. But Mainline answered the phone, and 2 hours later they were at my house with a brand new water heater. 3 hours after the old heater broke, new one was installed and hot water was flowing again! On Labor Day weekend! Almost impossible to believe. Mainline was professional, prompt and fairly priced, especially for an emergency fix on a weekend.

Called T-Max to locate a leak in my garage. Tony was responsive and reliable.  He located the leak and fixed it quickly and provided exceptional service.  I would recommend this business!

I called them to set up an appt. after indication of a leak in my home. They came out after 3 days. They explained that it would take this long initially, so I was aware and agreed to the timeline. They came out at time as agreed, the person that fixed the leak asked me questions to thoroughly assess the situation and physically reviewed places in my home that can have leaks. Once found (under home), they fixed on day of within 1.5 hours of arriving. Thank you.

John was a super nice guy and I couldn't have wish for better plumber to work with. Came all the way out to Rancho Palos Verdes to run a snake 10 feet down a drain and cleared up the problem. The price he charged was more than reasonable and I won't hesitate in using him in future fore my plumbing needs!

I need a garbage disposal replacement. I found Plumbing Work on Yelp with the most reasonable price. The others are either too expensive or required onsite estimate.

Alex shows up next day. He is very polite, on time, and well prepared -- leave no dirt/footprints. He had the garbage disposal replaced in an hour or so. I really like his service.

Had a leak manifesting itself in the garage.  Called on a Saturday and someone answered!  A plumber came out that day but it was really too late to start the job in my opinion.  Made an appointment for Monday.  Fernando showed up during the time window.  He was clean, contentious and professional.  It was a tough job in a tight place but he was able to get it done.  Next time I need a plumber I'll call Sal and ask for Fernando.

Our sink water at the restaurant was not hot enough according to the health inspector. Rodrigo came first thing next morning, fixed it in minutes and didn't even charge us. We found our new plumber!
