Saturday plumbing issues are never a good experience after hearing about JB plumbing and rooter from a friend I decided to give them a call. Jose rushed over on a late evening (8-13-13) didn't even charge me extra. In record time he got my toilet flushing and explained future maintenance tips so that I can save money on future visits. Awesome service! Awesome guy! Awesome pricing! Triple A service! Called on this company again and they were great!

Called this co. to fix two running toliets and a shower with bad pressure. Guy said shower needed new cartridge $110,  While he fixed toliets I went to get cartridge.  After installing  and not working, he said whole valve has to be replaced.  
He gave me bill with total of $538 !   I asked hourly rate and he argued with me.  I called office and found out rate was $110 Hr.  He arrived at 9;10 am finished at 11;10 am.  
When I pointed out labor should be $220 not $440 he became abusive, called me a liar and stormed out of my house while I was on the phone with the office. ]
Don't hire a company that doesnt screen their employees better.

Our water heater began spewing water this morning.  John was the first plumber in the area to answer my call, and was able to get to my house within 10 minutes of the call.  He fixed the problem promptly and for what seemed to be a reasonable price.  He was friendly and informative.  I will definitely call John again and will recommend him to neighbors.  Thanks, John!

Steve offered a solution that no other plumber suggested. Very punctual and professional. His work is top notch. If you need any plumbing work, Steve is the guy to call!

Came for 15 minutes and charged me 130 dollars. He also didn't return my calls. Had to try 3 times.

My family and I are so blessed to have been able to finally find a reputable license contractor who is honest, reliable and very responsible.  We were in need of a license contractor because of a unique situation we had with our homes. Jose the owner even took his time to go with my family and I to aid us with city permits. I loved the immediate communication and the prompt responses I received from Jose. That was key for me, as I dislike companies who take hours or days to respond. He kept his word and kept me updated through out the duration of the project. When he was done the city inspector even reviewed his work and comment by saying perfect job. Since then he continued to work on different projects and has always delivered in a timely manner and  quality work. I can't emphasize enough that he is very reasonable with his prices. He represents his company very well.  Kudos to Jose and look forward working with you on future assignments. My family and I are thankful!!!

As they imply, integrity is a core part of my experience. They do what they say they'll do and do a great job with reasonable costs.

When my water heater had water in the pan, they were able to locate the leak to the outlet pipe, and didn't try to get me to buy a new water heater.

They also saw my water pressure was high, and took a good amount of time to adjust it instead of recommending to change it out.

They did not use any of opportunities to take advantage of me. They were honest and prices were fair. In fact I paid a lot less than I thought I would, fearing the worst.

Reasonable pricing and very informative. Posting reviews based on pricing only doesn't seem justified, workmanship, quality, knowledge, and customer service are important as well. Easy to talk to via text. Great plumber if you are located in the SGV area.

I had an issue with my toilet flushing slowly because of an Oxi Clean soap hanger falling and being flushed down the toilet. I called Luis the night before, and he was able to come quickly the next day! His service is fast and reliable, and he fixed the clogging issue immediately.

It was close to midnight when I noticed that one of our bath tub's drainage was so clogged I called Serj and he said he will be at my home in 20 minutes. True to his word, he came with his dad, the Papa. He fixed the problem right away with that big, sweet smile on his face. Father and son are so nice and kind. And, even had the patience to explain what caused the problem. I have recommended them to several friends and family because I was more than satisfied with their services. Now, I don't have to worry anymore about clogged drainage or any plumbing problems because i know that there is PAPA's Plumbing that I could rely on 24/7. Would absolutely recommend. We had a time sensitive project repairing water damage in some drywall and he exceeded our needs in time, efficiency and quality of his work. His pricing was very affordable.

I can't believe these guys don't have good reviews yet.  They were the third plumber I called to clear a sink drain line blocked below the cleanout (I tried a standard ridgid drill/snake out to 25 feet with no results).  One plumber tried a rooter, and said they couldn't clear the line - they recommended hydrojetting ($1200 to $2000) as a temporary fix, or replacing the line running for $7500, including digging through the driveway.  Another plumber from the home warranty company sent a guy who only got his hand/drill snake caught in the line (at least he didn't charge me).

I was ready to spend $7500 but decided to make one more call so I could better stomach spending the money (or hopefully get a lower bid).  Allstar came out and cleared the line in 45 minutes for $100.  These guys will always have my business from now on.

Got appointment morning after I called, he showed up on time, found the leak on my large property within an hour, price was fair, I highly recommend!

A good time to clean my always clogging yard drains is when it's not raining. DeVinney easy to work with my schedule and theirs. Bad roots gone! Water runs through the system like it is new. If I remember I'm going to have them back regularly ( before they clog up again).

Sunset West Plumbers are absolutely the best! They are through and fast.. I mean the situation was ,my boss called Rotor Rooters..first mistake.. early in the morning when they discovered a pipe was spewing out water and they couldn't get it to stop... Well it was noon when I arrived and the the RR's called to say it would be another 2 1/2 hours till they got here.. I was like bump them I will find a place .. and just like that boom I found Sunset West plumbers I talked to Junior and one hour later they are here and 30 minutes after that the problem is fixed!!! That's what I call excellent customer service... Thank you guys again!

Greg Pitman tried to fix a simple issue under our sink.   Instead he made it worse which left us with significant WATER DAMAGE.     Did he offer or advise us of the problem or repair the damage.  NO.   He took off and left us with a very expensive repair.    Very DISHONEST and avoids helping after he made a very bad error.     That is the truth.

Just had A-1 Apex Plumbing out to our home for a 2nd time and they took care of this issue with the same efficiency as the last time.  Michel sent out Jaime, the tech who took such good care of us the last time, and Jaime again sorted out our problem quickly and provided a great fix.  A-1 Apex Plumbing is very responsive, very professional, and very well priced.  They are our plumbers for any issues moving forward.
