Best General Contractors in Arizona

Steve and the Homework Remodels Team did a great job on my fairly considerable room addition project. The goal was to expand an existing, view-facing deck on the back of my home... while also adding a whole new room to the downstairs part of the home by utilizing the newly created space underneath the deck expansion.

I had prepared my 'back of the napkin' drawings in some detail and Steve, Sheila and team were able to stick closely to my design concepts throughout the project, while professionally upgrading the drawings for all of the necessary planning and approval steps that were required along the way. Steve also accompanied me to the City Planning Hearing in order to get city approval to expand beyond the allowable 'footprint' of my home for the project to move forward... and it all came off without a hitch.

Nine months later and we are enjoying the views of Lookout Mountain from our outdoor kitchen atop our newly-expanded (and now partially covered & misted) deck. The "new" side matches the pre-existing side perfectly, and the deck flooring upgrade has been absolutely fantastic. We've added several hundred square feet of VERY usable outdoor space just off of our kitchen and living areas, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The downstairs room addition is equally as fantastic, and even the few issues that needed follow-up were handled as courteously as one might hope for.

Steve & Company are total pros, and good people as well. Highly recommended.

Brad has done 2 projects for us, he built a Casita on our residential property.  We had been working with another contractor that had drug their feet and Brad and his team came in and got the job done quickly, during the beginning of the COVID issue.  He really came through for us.
The second was a commercial project, he remodeled our office, at our business in Chandler.  We had a quick deadline to get it done and they did an amazing job, excellent price and it was done on time.

We asked Distinctive Construction to help us turn a seldom used bedroom in to a mega closet and they didn't disappoint. They did a phenomenal job and we're extremely happy with the work. Everyone was professional, courteous and nice. I would highly recommend them for any work you need done!

My older home needed some cosmetic and structural updates, and Jesus was able to provide what I was looking for, while also providing helpful suggestions and direction for the project. He and his crew did excellent work at an affordable price. I will 100% be using them for my next project.

Glenn, Tina and company did an awesome job on my patio roof.  It was better than the original and they repaired parts that I didn't expect. Super professional, on time as scheduled and no worries or problems. I definitely will use them again!

Does not service casa grande area although it is advertised on the range on Yelp. Only the valley.

This is the second bathroom remodel Patrick has done for us.  Both jobs were within budget and the stated time frame.  Compared to others I interviewed he was the most personable and professional.  His crew is always respectful and friendly, taking care to be as unobtrusive as possible.  They always covered all necessary adjacent furniture, rug or cabinets and meticulously cleaned up each day. The most recent job done by Chris turned out even better than I had envisioned. Unlike other companies you may hire who have a few jobs running at a time and disappear and appear without explanation, Roadrunner only does one job at a time. It really pays off with the least amount of aggravation and a stunning finished product. We will not hesitate to hire Roadrunner once more when we put an addition on our home next year.

Having to re paint the house because it was not done right the first time.. Paint was just spayed over existing  paint with no scraping at all. Before you use this company just know what needs to be done in advance

Had an appointment set with Rocky Dunn. He did not show up or bother to call. He did not answer phone or return our call when we tried to follow up. I had taken time off work for this appointment.

Very nice guys who mean well, but just don't know what they're doing when it comes to tiling.  Your bathroom may look good at a glance, but do your homework and know what you should be looking for when inspecting their work during build.  I stopped them half way through 2 bathroom remodels and so glad I did.  It cost me a couple thousand dollars to demo what they did and buy new material, but it saved me several more in regards to problems I would've incurred in the future.

BEWARE: I hired David with "Mohave Leveling" to level an addition on my mobile home and add additional supports underneath. He requested a deposit of 20% for materials which is always a risk but I proceeded and sent the deposit. Once he received  the deposit He immediately disappeared, would not respond to countless calls and texts. At the time of this review he has still not responded or made it right, if he does I will edit this review
