Gave Larry with Glendale Welding a 1 star rating because --Larry came out very quickly to give us a quote on two gates, he was very professional and sketched out what they would look like. He seemed like he knew what he was doing. We got a bunch of other quotes on the gates we were needing . We were going to go with another company that had great reviews as well, however Larry contacted us promptly and was very persistent on getting our business and made promises to lower his original prices and promised the gates would be installed in 4-6 weeks. Mind you his lowered price was still much higher than any of the other  6 gate quotes. He made us feel at ease about his high quote. Gates were supposed to be installed at the end of January. We have called and texted numerous times to at least see a picture of our gates and he is full of excuses as to where our gates are. We paid him half the total last year when we hired him. He refuses to respond back to us as to where the gates are and when they will be installed. At this point we just want our money back and be done with Larry and his company. This is such a surprise as we read his other 5 star reviews. Not sure what is going on?
~UPDATE~ We have changed our star rating from1 to a 3 because we finally got our gates installed 2 months behind his promised install date. They look amazing and the quality is excellent! Just very disappointed in his lack of communication thru out the process and his refusal to take responsibility for his part in being so tardy in finishing our project.

Needed to change the old ugly scrolled screen security door at the rear of my house. I contacted another company first. Their sales rep came out and when I explained what I wanted he said we don't do that, but here's who you need to contact.  He told me to call Steel Shield.  Boy am I glad he did! Steel Shields sales person came out and quoted me a lead time that would conflict with my vacation.  When I told him my drop dead date for install (1 week prior to his lead time) he made a call and changed their time to accommodate my time frame. They were actually even able to install a week before that!  Then I had a delightful young man, Buzz, do the install of the door.  He was very polite and professional, explained everything about the door and left my place neat and tidy when he left.

Frank came when he said he would. It was around 4:30 PM on a Saturday. When he looked at the unit he saw that the chain had broken and that we needed a new spring. He gave us the price to repair our door. And since our motor was 15 years old, he gave us a price to replace the motor, repair the chain and replace the spring. I thought it was very reasonable. I asked him how long it would take and he said about 1.5 hours. I asked him if he wanted to spend the time now at 4:30 on a Saturday night. He said he wanted to take care of us and that he would fix everything that night. He stayed and by around 6:00 PM everything was in working order. Needless to say, we were very impressed.

Great customer service, I told them what I wanted to building and they helped me with all the hardware and suggested he best way to do it.  Also gave me a first time customer discount and military discount.

Rob responded immediately and completed a job (with changes midstream) within a very short time.  The work was high quality and the cost very reasonable.  Thanks Rob!

Toro Construction did a great job.  Dan and his crew were fast, efficient, and affordable.  I cannot thank them enough for the quality job they did.  Several of our neighbors have stopped by to comment on how nice our block fence is to ask what company we used.  I highly recommend them and would refer anyone looking for a reputable and affordable company to give them a call.  Ryan

This review is long overdue. We purchased a pool fence in 2015 and have been very happy. So much so that we are moving and going to be purchasing a second fence. We are unable to take our existing one as we sold it with our house. I would highly recommend this company, they are fair and honest.

I Have two security doors at my home manufactured by this company and they are great. I decided to have a gate made for my front porch that matched the doors and had it made. Everything went great and the gate was installed on time. About a month later the gate started to sag. After calling customer service the repairs were made and everything was back to normal. A couple of months later the sag returned. Upon calling customer service I was told that this can happen due to the construction of the decorative posts that the gate is attached to and they would not make any additional repairs unless I hire a mason to reinforce the post at an expense above the cost of the gate.  Had they informed me of this problem at the time of the sale I would not have ordered the gate. Now I have this great gate that sags and will not close.

We used First Impression Security Doors twice in the past 6 months or so.   We had them put in a security door which looks amazing for the price.   We then had them put sun screens on our windows which also look great.

I'd give it a 5/5, however the only thing that stops me from doing so was the installer was a little sloppy.    Was an extremely nice guy, but left two holes in the door (hard to see) due to bad cuts/measurements.

We scheduled an appointment and I received an email that it was confirmed for 11 o'clock on Monday, I called at 11:15 and left a message after no one had shown up. I guess I am going with someone else as this company does not seem to respond or show up.
