I selected Glendale Welding to replace a section of wrought iron fencing because they were the best prepared. Larry came out to view the work area and created a sketch detailing the H x L, the spacing of the rails and the attachment points to the wall and existing wrought iron post. The section of fencing was not a standard. I had other vendors that came out and they talked about what they would do. Having a sketch vs a verbal description totally eliminated any misunderstanding about the work and product to be produced. Larry had the fence section manufactured and installed inside a week.

Sean, the sales consultant arrived on time, and showed me all the Security Screen Doors and available features. Since, this door was to go on the backdoor on the carport, I didn't need a fancy door. However, they were able to come close to matching the front SSD in design for $200.00 less than what the high priced guy wanted. And, the hardware really surprised me. It's much fancier than what I have on the front SSD. So, I've made arrangements to have new hardware put on the other door.

Josie, the office manager, was very helpful, and punctual in responding to E-mails, and phone calls.

However, the reason I can't give 5 Stars is because I was told 6 to 7 weeks, and it took 9 weeks and 2 days before the door was installed.

After installation, the inside door wasn't closing properly. But, the tech got that fixed without any problem. :)

GREAT JOB, guys.

It's been great to have both doors open to be able to air out the house, and get a nice cross-breeze without having to worry about bugs, or unwanted people, getting in.

After 2 weeks,  can't get a response on an estimate. They didn't contact me back.  They also didn't return my calls even after calling 3 times.

They are good! I needed a busted up chain link fence replaced on a home I had just bought. First win: I actually got a quote from them based on them actually looking at the property!  I think I contacted every fence company that said they service Phoenix. This is the only company that actually came to look at the property to get a good, valid quote. Once I agreed to the quote I was then told what to expect and preparation steps. The construction went much faster than I expected, and communication during the construction was handled well. Great Job!

Prompt, professional and fair priced work. I will be recommending them to me Son -In Law and using their services again.

having the best workers team I have ever seen.  They put my mailbox up complimentary  cemented the post in & the whole back yard was completed so fast with no mess! I was so amazed! Then I mistakenly thought the quote included my front fence panels that fell down, just to put them back up, Well, found out the quote didn't include that, but, no problem to Dan, I told him I tippped the workers $30.00 total because I was so grateful for them putting the mailbox up & the great job they did, Well, he said, if you tipped them, then they will be back out just to put that front panel fence up, And sure enough they were, on there own time!!! We got estimates from three different pool fence companies but ultimately decided to go with this one. They weren't cheaper but oftentimes you get what you pay for and this is not something you want to skimp out on. Leonard provided great customer service and was speedy in getting us scheduled for both the estimate and installation. The workers who installed the fence did a great job. Plus rather than being contracted employees they are actually employed by the company. They really know and believe in the product and customer service experience.

You can get a 10% discount for paying cash. We were also able to get a very small group discount for scheduling our installation at the same as another neighbor.  

I also recommend putting an alarm on the pool gate. It only costs $10-15 at any home store and having that extra alert system can give you more peace of mind and provide an extra step of safety.

Our pool fence looks great and we actually like the way it makes our backyard look more than before because it separates our different spaces well. Plus now we can relax and enjoy our backyard more knowing our little one is safer in the backyard.

I spoke with Marty over the phone and I'm giving him 5 stars not because he did any work for me, he didn't. But he was upfront on my pool fence needs. He gave me some great info about my situation and saved me from making a serious financial mistake. It's nice to see a business owner not try to squeeze money out of potential customers. If his work is as good as he is honest, no doubt he'll be the right one for the job! Thanks again!

After buying several homes in the valley, and watching pools get built time after time my husband and I decided to contract the pool ourselves.

We found out why we don't build pools for a living. Problem after problem with the tradesmen, delays, budget overages, and doing things twice seem to be common procedure.

When it came down to the fence and getting to the finish line to pass final inspection, there were multiple opinions on what needed to be done and how.

Brian with Far From Average was a blessing in disguise. Brian was very knowledgeable on every code, every variation, and what actually needed to be done. Brian was a true professional. The fence came in on time and within budget. Not to mention how well Brian understood the difficulty of our pool layout and design, with a very precise and clean installation. The experience from start to finish was effortless and hassle free. The fence came out beautiful. Brian's attention to detail was impressive. Communication throughout the process was fantastic. I would highly recommend.

Mike is a true expert in his field. I've had him build me a few custom shipping and work tables. They have all turned out exactly how I wanted them/exactly what I asked for. He's accurate, quick, and easy to work with. If you need any kind of metal fab work done, Mike is your guy.

We requested many quotes thru Yelp and other sites. We requested M&M to quote and to perform an onsite evaluation.

M&M's Office staff (Chloe) was remarkably polite, courteous and responsive.

Johnny arrived to eval the problem with the iron gate, and within a few minutes, outlined how he would essentially re-engineer, disassemble, reassemble, and it would not only fix the aggravating opening and closing problems. In the end, it was done perfectly true, square, and spaced = above and beyond its original state. Superb workmanship and professionalism and NO price gouging like nearly everyone else.

After I gave bad review 3 months ago this company changed its attitude in a very good one. They fixed my door lock on time and the menager was so professional with me overall superproffesional from top to the bottom. The technician was so courteous .Very good job! I recomand anyone to try this company for promtitude and quality.

Couldn't even get them to give me a real estimate (not a quote, mind you) when I told them dimensions and the models I was interested in.

They did a great job replacing our pool fence post that had decayed from sprinkler system overspray.  

His prices were fair for the work performed.

I like that he was able to be to us within 24 hours and that he was open to suggestions on how to complete the project.. a rare thing in the know it all contractor world.  

He held a positive attitude and was efficient in completing his work, and most importantly, didn't cause more damage or leave a giant mess behind.
