Best Cabinets in Arizona

I hate long-winded reviews, but I'll write one anyway. Here's the quick executive summary:

I obtained two quotes for what ended up being a complete reface for all our cabinets. I found both companies more than competent, and would have felt quite comfortable using either, but what really sold me on Better Than New Kitchens was the owner, Dan Oldejans.

After a preliminary conversation and estimate on the phone (I loved that you can give him your own measurements via email and he provides an estimate before he even comes to your home). When I received his estimate, I informed him that we weren't even sure that we wanted to go through with it because I was way, way, way off on my own personal estimate, also known as wishful thinking.

Dan still came to our home and spent over two hours with me going through the process and showing me samples and available options. He was thoroughly honest when I questioned whether we were getting a little outside the pricing parameters for a house of our size and price (we were) and I appreciated his candor.

I always take that sort of response as an indicator of the type of individual I am dealing with and that initial, very positive impression held through our entire project. AND, there was absolutely no pressure to up sell.

Dan was also quite responsive when we asked him to price out various portions of the project as we tried to fit the reface into the budget. He worked hard to reduce the overall estimate once he was able to measure everything himself. Though it was often just a few dollars here and a few dollars there, I appreciated the effort.

We eventually decided to go all-out and have the whole home refaced, and even added a new cabinet. Dan continued to work hard to make things work, even having the patience to charge three different credit cards in order to allow us to get together the total amount for the down payment. Honestly, I was just a little paranoid about writing a check with no recourse if something bad happened. Using the credit cards gave us an option outside the Registrar of Contractors should that occur. Turns out that fear was a totally unfounded. Since then, we have never looked back!

A totally awesome transition from our blonde, rather plain tract home cabinets to a very rich, nearly custom look! Craftsmanship was outstanding. Seams where the crown molding butts to the wall are imperceptible. The brads on the 1/4 veneer are also nearly impossible to see. Overall, we are totally pleased with the workmanship and results.

Though the cost was a lot more than we had initially budgeted, we are thrilled that we decided to go forward with it. I am certain it will add a substantial amount to the resale value of our home when that day comes to retire in a smaller place. The transition was actually so breathtaking that it has us reconsidering the move.

The work was completed on-budget and even a day early. Dan is a hands-on owner, and he and his team were always on-time to start and they finished at a reasonable time each day.

There were a couple minor snafus, and they were addressed properly and quickly. When the crew arrived the first day, someone who shall remain nameless (Dan) backed in the trailer a little too far and chipped a little stucco off the top of the garage frame. I might never have noticed, but Dan brought it to my attention, and addressed it immediately by taking a paint sample and getting a little touch up. It was repaired and imperceptible within an hour!

A second snafu involved the hardware. We used different pulls for the kitchen and the rest of the home. They missed that and drilled for the same hardware. Dan advised me of the problem, and being the reasonable people we are, we agreed that Dan would replace the hardware with something we still liked. He offered to go to a specialty hardware store to try to get a match with our original choice in order to make us happy. In the end, both sides were lucky that we found an acceptable replacement at the local Home Depot. I'm guessing that's a lesson learned and won't happen again.

In the end, we were exceptionally pleased with the work, and should we actually move in the future, we will use Better Than New Kitchens - no second estimate required.

We are extremely happy with the outcome of our cabinets. One of our friends thought we bought new cabinets. Grapevine did a beautiful job. They were punctual and nice to work with.

Space Solutions is The BEST!!!  They remodeled our closet. It's a small space with really high ceilings and Mark came out and designed it perfectly.  The builders were awesome too!  Very kind and trustworthy. I had to leave my house a few times to run errands and never felt uneasy about it. I recommend Space Solutions to EVERYONE!  They are doing our garage too once it's built.

My garage was completely transformed by adding these beautiful cabinets! Quick Response Garage Cabinets did a great job. ((602) 935-5598) I got a few other quotes - one was just a little lower, but the final product look very cheap. Another was over triple the cost & said they were booked out 3+ months (they also spent 2 1/2 hours at my home doing detailed drawings...seems unnecessary for an initial quote).

Alan came out to provide a quote right away & had an estimate in minutes. He was very knowledgeable & helpful. The work was scheduled fast - only 2 weeks out.

Justin came for the install...wow. These cabinets are truly 100% custom! Justin built these out from scratch & completed them in a single day! A lot of hard work & great quality. The cabinets are solid, beautiful & everything was put together well, including drawers & hinges. (The cabinets at my last house didn't close all the way because the hinges weren't quite right.)

I'm extremely impressed with QRGC's staff, craftsmanship, lead time & prices. I highly recommend them.

Awesome customer service, during a pandemic they were able to have my cabinets done in 4 weeks when everywhere else was 4 to 6 months! My kitchen is absolutely beautiful.... Very professional and Joe took his time helping me design my new kitchen.

We just got our custom cabinets installed yesterday and could not be happier!! It turned out perfect! Chris was a great guy to work with and was very responsive to calls and emails! He came out and measured and got us all the info price delivery etc very quickly! Yes, it took awhile... these are custom, but it was so worth the wait! Installation went great and they were very professional as well! Everything was perfect when they left!

I have used other companies  for granite in the past.  The service I received from David  at Discount Granite in July 2016  is absolutely the best.  David  came to my home to give me an estimate.  He did not try to sell or pressure me into anything.   I truly appreciate the straight forward all inclusive pricing of Discount Granite.   They do not charge additional fees for   demolition, removing of trash,  installing sinks, or type of fabrication like other  companies.

David is a master craftsman who will bring your vision to life. He is extremely knowledgeable and  took time to share his knowledge so I could make a well informed decision.  He helped me choose the perfect stone and  showed me exactly how it would look when it was  fabricated.   David installed granite counters in my kitchen, laundry, and 2 bathrooms.    I chose different granite, edges,  and sinks for each room.   The granite I chose had a lot of different patterns and movement which can be difficult to fabricate.   David's fabrication is top notch with all seams, edges, and patterns matching perfectly.    I am extremely pleased with the work of David and his installers.   They were on time, installation was perfect, and they left my house cleaner than when they arrived.

I cannot say enough great things about this company, Organized by Design.  My husband set up an appointment with Chad Turnwald, who came out on time on the scheduled date.  He is very professional, courteous, patient, and friendly.  After getting the measurements of the closet and an idea of what I wanted, he put in all on his laptop computer. As we talked and looked at the design, I got some ideas & suggestions from him and within a few minutes, he made the desired changes on his computer!  I really enjoyed working with him.  We set a tentative date for install in January, and I thought of some other questions. So I called and we talked about a couple other changes. He then emailed me the new plan. Two days before installation day, Chad called to firm up the arrival time that was convenient for us. He also had Kathryn bring out two rolling wardrobe racks to use for unloading our clothes. This was extremely helpful and we got to keep it a few days after the installation. On the scheduled day, Chad came with Mike, his installer, to get started with the demolition of the closet. The majority of the closet was completed that day, and the remainder only took 2 hours the next morning. Mike did an excellent job on the install. Chad even put up my husband's homemade hat rack high up on the wall to help us out. The quality of the closet is fantastic and drawers are dove tail construction with full extension! Thank you Chad, Mike & Kathryn for all of your fantastic work on this project. WE LOVE IT!

Save yourself a lot of time and energy in researching the best and go with Phoenix Cabinet Company. I'm using them for the second time for another project in Scottsdale because I was so impressed after the first project. They are professional, diligent, detailed, fair priced and they ensure you are in love with the finish product. They do custom and they are a dealer of Soliid so it's great to be able to mix and match! Call Kevin, he's my favorite. He will take care of you!

We've been contracting in Arizona for almost 20 years. Specifically, working in the kitchen and bath market for the past ten. A few years back we were dealers for 3 cabinetry lines in the Phoenix area. After too much hassle with the other guys, we decided to look into this operation. Within a few months, we exclusively dealt with the folks at New Cabinet Company. The line they distribute, J&K, is second to none in the modular cabinetry space - in terms of quality wood materials and hardware. We sell dozens of projects a year using their product and have not once had an unsatisfactory experience. The sales team is on point, the warehouse crew runs like a clock and the management from top down is accommodating and professional. The only cabinet company I would recommend.

I was in the design center in mid October  Salesman was rude to my husband and while I did proceed with him we did a design that day but did not complete.   after I left the showroom communication with him was spotty.  He would not return a call.  I moved on to look for another source.  I did not find one I liked as well as cabinets to go product.    On Oct 31 We went back in the center and asked for a different salesman.  I was promised he would not treat us like the previous salesman.       we did design picked cabinets. He called to make sure they were in stock and promised delivery in next two weeks. We paid in full and signed contract.  We left the store   Oct 31.   any and all communication between Rick salesman and store manager Brett has been generated by us.   They do not return calls, do not respond to messages and on the last week in November store manager left my husband a voice mail telling us how busy they had been. He said they had 20 pallets if cabinets they had not had time to deal with.  This is my attempt to contact some of those other buyers like ourselves who are waiting and being fed bullshit.   I also would like to keep anyone else from having to experience this frustration and stress and added expense.  I would not recommend to anyone   you can buy custom cabinets and have installed in less time than dealing with this.

Great experience resulting in a beautiful kitchen!  We worked with Kim and she was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful.  Working with her was easy and enjoyable.  She made some great suggestions and did not get flustered when we made some changes.  All of the subs who came to our home were on time and did good work.  When all the work was completed we had a couple small things needing fixing and it was done promptly and correctly.  We are very happy with our kitchen and would recommend Diamond to anyone.  We were referred to them by friends who also have a great kitchen and were very happy with the service.  This is the Tatum store

We hired Diamond as part of a major remodel project for our home. And we couldn't be happier with the quality and appearance of our new kitchen and bath cabinets. They are great quality and look and work wonderful!
However, the installation was a little problematic.
Multiple mis-measurements and mis-communications, and wrong and missing parts, caused multiple unnecessary delays that caused the installation to last three months.
Bottom line is we have beautiful cabinets, but at a unnecessarily high cost in our frustration and unnecessary delays.
