Gilbert and Andrew are phenominal. I had a faucet in my bathroom that started leaking last night. After turning it off and on it quit leaking. It was less than a year old so I was concerned that it would start doing it again.
Andrew came over and looked at it. He explained that it was more than likely a piece of calcium that got stuck in the cartriage and by turning it off and on I dislodged it. He said that he would take a picture of the faucet and if it happened again he would be able to bring a new cartridge and fix it. He did not charge me for the diagnosis. Living through a remodel with every crook in Austin doing work for me I have finally found an honest company. They want to do a good job and are honest! What a combination. No more getting referals from friends. Yelp is the way to go. Andrew and Gilbert live up to their Yelp reviews!

These guys are awesome! Came over with no issues to inspect my system and pointed out CO2 problem & were able to fix the system same day! Great service, great customer service, and great value! Noel & Jesse were professional, quick, and clean. Answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable about the HVAC system and explained why there was a problem & what it took to fix it. I was in need of a plumber because my water line that goes into my hot water tank broke and the pipe is welded into the house. Josh came within 2 hours on Saturday late afternoon, during this Corona Virus shutdown!! Excellent service and fast service!

They quickly found a bad valve in the backyard that I never would have been able to find and yet another leaking  valve that was the real culprit. they repaired them quickly then went through the entire system and made sure everything was working.Now I'm good to go great job you guys

Why aren't there more stars!!  Big City Plumbing is simply the Best!! (Queue song).  I found them via Nextdoor recommendation and they have co e out twice to fix plumbing issues.  This last time they out did any repair service I have ever had or imagined.  The men were professional and personable.  I had a number of things I needed addressed and they took care of every single one on a timely manner.  In other words-they didn't milk the clock so they could charge me for more hours than needed.  They explained what the issues were and how they were going to fix them-and verified with me that things were fixed before they left.  
The customer support staff is on point as well.  When you call you get a professional, pleasant person on the other end. Not someone who seems annoyed that you called.  They are willing to answer what you might think are dumb or annoying questions- and totally work with you to schedule a time that works with your schedule.  
Obviously I don't wish for any future plumbing problems, but when they inevitably arise- there is. NO question who I am callin!

We will never use this company again. My 84 year old dad had them install at new faucet a few weeks ago. Then over the weekend one of the faucet handles came off and started spewing water everywhere. They don't have weekend service, so we had to turn off the water, since there was no off valve under the sink. When they came back out today to fix it they said it wasn't under warranty cause we bought the faucet. They charged him for travel time to and from his house without telling him. 45 minutes of work and they gave him a bill for $350. Outrageous! They were rude when I called them for an explanation. I asked them if it happened again was it under warranty and they said yes, cause they fixed it. So they don't warrant their initial work, but they do warrant it if they fix it? That's rich!

These guys are so incredibly HONEST. I have had them come out to our home 3 times, and each time they have delivered the best service. One time they told me 'no, don't do that.' They make sure you know exactly what you are getting and why. They are timely, sensitive to your emergency needs, and kind. Love the young lady who answers the phone...she takes detailed notes and she squeezed me in for our perceived emergency. Water in one tub was not coming out hot. Austin came out the next day. Turns out it was just a quick fix to the faucet. The diagnosis and service was free! He also checked our water heater and other fixtures. Explained in a way I can understand and was very knowledgeable and professional. Will certainly call again. Thank you!

AJ was amazing. He was on time and very efficient. He even fixed my fence which was not part of the plan. I also had a nest of baby birds in the vents he was fixing and he carefully took them out and offered to put them high in a tree. I would recommend him to everyone.

I contacted Abel through Yelp for help with a leaky kitchen sink. He responded right away and came out the next day. He's a super nice guy and very knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend him and will use him again!

I sprang a leak in the air chamber under my bathroom sink. I got up to a flooded hallway this morning. Bobbie came out right away, over a two hour job. Bobbie fixed me up and I was sooo happy with the bill! I was in such a panic this morning when I could hear spraying in the wall under the sink and my hall was full of water. Called to obtain estimate on 1/31 for major plumbing repairs to my Ill mothers home. The lady who answered Asked very inappropriate and offensive questions about  my mothers health. I have never had similar issue with any of the plumbing companies I have used in the past. I can not recommend this company to anyone at this point.

During the snow storm of 2021 a water pipe busted in my home. I called Roto-Rooter on a Monday and pleasantly found they were scheduling me for the next day.  Winter conditions continued and no show.  I called them at the end of the day and was told all scheduled appointments were moved to next day.  Next day no show, no call.  It's Friday and still no show, but what disturbs me most is no notice this whole time.  I only heard from them once and that's bc I called them.  Luckily my neighbor called A.L. Plumbing and after talking to their plumber he squeezed me in right there on the spot and fixed my problem.  A.L. Plumbing, 210-269-6346.  

I can't speak to R-Rs quality of service, but I can speak to their disregard for customer notification, time, and general courtesy.
