Yes indeed, Roger definitely did reduce the service call. I needed to chat with him about options and he was nice enough to reduce the charge for the attempt and reduce from over $200 to $89.

Never mind, wont return calls.  Helped once and thats it.  Dont bother.

a plumbing technician came out to our house at 1798 Oak Glen in New Braunfels. My name is Gregg Walrafen. We wanted him to check over the water softener and water heater and drinking water filtration unit under the kitchen sink. After checking them all over. He tried to sell us new filtration and softening equipment. We did not want new equipment. I don't appreciate unnecessary sales pitches, when all is needed is possibly repair. I realize companies make more money on new equipment. again, I do not appreciate new equipment being pushed to me when it is clearly not needed. He was going to call us back with an estimate on new equipment, but never did. We will not call your company again.

One The only plumbers in the entire 5 county residence.He's fair and honest. A  plumber who made us feel as if we were life long friends... Dependable good  plumber with  experience I have come to rely on!!!

Excellent response time, very knowledgeable and willing to explain his thought process. Pricing was very reasonable, especially considering how quickly and professionally he addressed issue (was on location within 24 hours of request, and repair was completed immediately).

I needed a p-trap and studor vent installed (older house that did not have a p-trap on washing machine drain). My main concern was there was a leaking running trap. Multiple other larger companies said they could do job, just to waste my time by scheduling a 4-6 hour window, waiting until end of window, and either coming out and telling me they wouldn't install a studor vent or just calling and telling me they couldn't do it (after I sent very specific diagrams and instructions of what I needed and their dispatch told me that they did indeed provide those services). Had one even tell me it would cost $12,850 to remove the running trap and install p-trap, excluding all repair work. When I told that company's plumber that called me that I was not certain I did have a running trap, he told me it would be $499 just to run camera to check. This was at 6:40pm when I was given a 2pm-6pm window, so he obviously just did not want to work. Geronimo responded and repaired by 6pm the next day - only charged a nominal fee to run the camera, confirming that I did NOT have a running trap, and I had zero question or issue with the labor and material charges he quoted, especially considering all the work was done after 5pm, and all charges were exactly as quoted.

Have his number saved for all future plumbing issues, highly recommend. It is very hard to come by an honest, responsive, and reasonably priced plumber - this is one of those diamonds in the rough, and it is also great to support a small local business.

Two years ago, we had a plumbing emergency; which he quickly repaired! Although, it was an after 6:00pm repair: He charged us the same as his regular business hours rate.

Today, Sunday, 26 August 2018, he repaired a leaking pipe. I contacted him at 9:36am and scheduled an appointment for today. He arrived at approximately 11:30am and was finished by 12:30pm. Again, he charged us his regular business hours rate; instead of charging us more for working on a Sunday. So, I gave him a $25.00 tip. I am also going to give him another great review on my Home Advisor App.

I am sharing this here because, every home owner will eventually need a great plumber. Also, yesterday, I decided to CANCEL our American Home Shield (AHS) Warranty because, they refused to authorize their contract plumber (ASAP Plumbing) to do this simple repair. Then, ASAP Plumbing OFFERED to do this simple repair for a fee of $425.00. I told them No. because, it cost less than $200.00 to have that bypass installed; when our water softener system was installed, by a LOWE'S contract plumber.

As a result of this experience: I am going to set up an account that is dedicated to home maintenance. Instead of paying AHS (American Home Shield) $37.40 per month ($448.80 per year) to authorize some repairs and decline simple repairs: I am going to deposit $50.00 per month in that account.... Now, I will never have to feel guilty about paying AHS $448.80 per year and not have anything repaired for that year.

After I finish this; I am going to copy and paste it on other websites; including an email to AHS (American Home Shield Warranty).

I have been wary and frustrated at trying to contact local plumbers here in SA. They usually do not call you back when you leave them a message. And this gets even worse since most never even pick up their phone.

Today was a miracle.

Robert not only picked up the phone but he valued my phonecall by carefully listening to my concern and promising to send a tech within a couple of hours. With my previous negative experience where people who have committed to come really do not come, I called up Robert again. Once again, he reassured me that a tech was on the way and now just 15 mins from arriving. True enough and even beyond my expectation, the doorbell rings just a couple of minutes after I put down the phone. It was ther plumbing tech Eric.

You could not ask for anything more. Eric went beyond just bare minimum by showing his professionalism not just with his expertise and diligence but also his patience and kindness. I was like experiencing wit and care for my plumbing from Eric just like watching The Good Doctor, plumbing version!

Eric had much difficulty as the snaking rooter kept refusing to creep into the pipe. He did not surrender until he was able to find the best tip tool that was able to flexibly push through the pipe.

The end result was a success not only for the job itself but it gave me such comfort and peace of mind knowing that it was done by a dedicated and passionate professional.

San Antonio local residents: This is  a plumbing service to trust with full confidence! Great work, ultra reasonable cost.

The sound of water running out of the wall is never good. We called Reeh Plumbing and they sent out Kenneth (hope I have that name right). Even though it was after hours, Kenneth was so nice and respectful. He was efficient and quick and made a stressful situation easier. We have my mom in Hospice here at her house and when he left he said he would pray for her. I have no doubt he did just that.  So glad I called Reeh.

Great crew, great work and reasonably priced.  I had a pretty bad water main leak.  I got scheduled right away and the guys spend the whole day working until it was completely redone.  Took a lot, but they did great.

We own a rental property in San Antonio and we received a call from a tenant at approximately 8:00 PM stating there was a large water leak at the water box near the street.  We recently had this same large water leak so we were frantic to get it fixed asap so our tentants weren't without water for a couple of days...again :(  We called multiple plumbers, most of which never returned our call until the next day.  The others couldn't tell us an ETA, which we desperately needed so we could inform our tenants.  After reading another yelpers review, we decided to call Five Star Plumbing.  First kudo, they answered our phone call!  Michael immediately took down our information and said he'd relay the message to the plumber asap.  My husband was en route to the property (about a 50 minute drive) and after just a short 5 minute wait, David the plumber arrived!  He was polite and professional.  David quickly determined the issue (possible faulty part installed at the last repair) and had our tenants' water service up and running in about 1 hour!  We were so thankful and relieved!  Even though the repair was after hours and on short notice, the price was very reasonalbe.  We are making Five Star Plumbing our plumber for our investment properties.  Thank you so much!!!!

Horrible ever company dont deal with them dishonest people...have a big story to tell about...

On February 16th, during the winter storm that Texas endured, I had a burst pipe and started calling plumbers.  The first to respond was J.R.'s Plumbing.    The pipe in question was in an outside laundry room and was exposed, not inside a wall.  The water had already been shut off at the main cutoff, so no water was coming out of it.  The pipe is copper and had been patched before with a length of plastic pvc that was approximately 6 long.  It was this patch that had split and was leaking.  So the cuts to the copper pipe were already made, all that needed to be done was remove the damaged portion of the pvc pipe and replace it.  A couple of people showed up and looked at my pipe.  I was immediately quoted a price of $800.  In the previous repair to replace the damaged portion of the copper pipe and replace it with plastic pvc, I paid $250.  I believe that J.R.s Plumbing took advantage of the weather and the situation to engage in price gouging.  I paid $125 for the service visit and told the two plumbers to leave. My husband fixed the pipe himself for $30.
