We had a big project, HVAC installation, all new duct work, insulation installed:
A shout out to the team for their awesome work!! Job well done!!  Blanca Trevino, Daniel Castillo, Roy Bainbridge, Ap (Perez), Arevin. We can't say enough about the job You've done for us. From the detailed info from Miguel (who was so kind and friendly and showed us everything) doing our inspection to working with Ivan to decide what unit was best for us and the setting up a schedule etc.  Since we were hit with unexpected issues noted at inspection, we were happy with the way this team worked quickly and kept us informed each step of the way!!  Thank you again for the friendly and super job you provided for us! You Put our fears and concerns to rest! definitely recommend and we will use them for other issues that arise if any in the future!

Wish I could give ZERO stars...
Worst experience ever. No customer service and no communication! Stay away!!!!
Long story short: They said our system install would take 6-8 hours. They showed up 2 hours late - with no phone call - then took 10 hours and left us with no AC for the night. Came back the next day to finish the job saying it was 2-3 hours of work and it took them 7 hours to finish. No communication at all! We lost an entire weekend waiting for them to get their crap together. Horrible customer service! Units are way overpriced! Go with another company. Stay away from this one!!!!!!!!!! On top of it all, they damaged our trim and stained our carpet! Also didn't communicate to us that they did it!!!

Horrible experience - avoid this company!!!
First of all, we did not need a new unit. We were trying to be proactive in replacing ours that was 10 years old and had a small Freon leak that had to be charged every year or so.
The routine maintenance person came and ran some checks. We chose to go ahead and replace the system. The service guy asked if they could come the next day on a Saturday because they needed work. They advised it would only take 6-8 hours to complete. We agreed. Pricing was super high and we were reluctant. I think they are way overpriced.
They called at 8:01 Saturday morning saying they were on their way. At 10:34 am they arrived. No call saying they were running late. The installer proceeded to tell us the job would take 8-10 hours, which is longer than we were told initially - Horrible communication from the start.
Around 5PM it was clear that things were not going well. We asked the installer what was going on and he advised the new system coil was not working properly and would probably need to be replaced - on a BRAND NEW unit. We asked if anyone was on the way with the part. He stated they needed to do hours of troubleshooting before they would bring in a new part. Why??????
Also, why did they not communicate the problem? We had to ask. Around 8:00 pm they finally said the coil needed to be replaced and they would come back tomorrow, leaving us with no AC for the night. They didn't ask if we were available for them to come back tomorrow they just assumed. We asked why they couldn't get the part tonight instead of tomorrow. They said it would take too long to go back to the warehouse and have someone open the warehouse for them to get the part. How is that our problem??? Someone should have been on the way with the part when they discovered that was likely the issue. They left around 8:30 pm saying they would return 9am to finish the 2-3 hour job. They arrived at 10:30am - late again. It then took 7 hours for them to complete the 2-3 hour job. We had to cancel appointments and miss things we needed to attend because of this horrible service. The lack of communication is ridiculous! We asked to talk to a manager and the person who called was rude and unhelpful. We asked for a discount for all of the inconvenience. They were supposed to talk to someone and call us back. We never heard back from them.
Stay away!! This place is the worst!!!!

Christmas Ripoff-My wife, daughter and I woke up this Christmas morning to a very brisk 57 degrees in our house. After doing what I know how to do to my HVAC limits (which is very little) we called several different companies to come out to fix our system as soon as possible, mostly because south Texas was still in a freeze that only comes once in a decade and I didn't want a whole additional problem to ruin our Christmas with pipes bursting etc. We were able to get ahold of Goettl Heating and Air of San Antonio which stated that we needed to either pay up front a fee of $189 + taxes, or we could sign up for a yearly maintenance plan for $12/month and only pay a $49 fee today. Well the deal sounded as if it would make sense once they were able to come in a fix the problem, and quite frankly we should have had a maintenance plan already so I signed up. They stated that someone could be here around 11am. We received a text stating Jeremy was on his way.  Not wanting to helicopter over the top of the guy, I explained the problem we had and showed him where the furnace was and then left him be to troubleshoot.
After about 15 minutes he surfaced and asked to show me something. I went upstairs to see what he had found and he immediately stated that the vent system with electronic dampeners are no good, and that there was a lot of dirt in my system, probably a blocked intake or vent causing the system to overload essentially. He then said it was likely that we needed to replace the system altogether!! My house was built 5 years ago by a reputable builder and system installed brand new as well so this is puzzling and very concerning to me. The tech then proceed to get his boss Billy on speaker phone who says that the tech should take me outside to the A/C compressor and check the LRA and see if that could be the potential problem.  We returned inside and he called Billy back again who then proceeded to explain to me that the system was about to fail anyway and needed replaced because it was pulling to hard, and that we had better get it taken care of before the first of the year since prices will be going up 20-30% due to new government regulations. The whole thing sounded just a little to pushy and smarmy, like a used car salesman saying if you don't buy now your dream car will be gone by morning! The technician was then sent back upstairs by Billy to continue evaluating the system and spends nearly another hour up in my attic and then comes down to say that he basically cannot get my heat back on today, but he has the quotes for all the parts we need to provide a bandaid .... $5200!!! FOR A BANDAID??? He said not only was my motherboard on the furnace shot, but the blower motor, and Capacitor replacement + a hard start kit with relay!
But they would put together a full replacement quote and send it to me once they figured out what all the prices were. Which did I want to do? I told them I would wait to see what their time frame was for the parts, before we move forward with any agreement to fix things for either price quotes. The tech then left and they charged me the $49.
My wife and I sat down and stressed over the thought of immediately after Christmas having to fork over a minimum of $5200, and the added stress of not knowing how long it would be before we even had heat! It ruined our Christmas this year for sure. We did our level best for our little one to put on a smiley face and get through, but it was an absolute devastating blow to our spirit of Christmas.
My wife called Airtron on Tuesday morning  to check the status of a possible warranty we might have had from when the system was installed new 5 years prior. They stated that they would have someone out there that afternoon and ended up coming out early. The guy went through the whole system, we did not tell him anything about Goettl coming out and their amazing findings, but he figured out the problem all on his own. We had a single blower motor that went out!! Just a blower motor that they would have to order but they were going to make every attempt to install a temporary fix and get our heat up and running! Repairs quote came back for all of it....less than $800 but we had signed up for their maintenance plan and got a $500 credit so the whole thing was less than $300 for us! They installed a temporary blower until the one made for this system arrives and they can install it. Within a few hours we had heat back in our home.
Airtron took care of us and will be our provider for Heating & A/C for the foreseeable future! Stay away from Goettl! This group of guys was simply doing all they could to rip us off, just because they pulled up to a neighborhood judged a house and said they can afford to get screwed!! Luckily we did our due diligence or this Christmas could have cost us much more than it should have because

I was very happy with the HVAC serviceman, Jaime. He was thorough and spent the time cleaning the outside unit. I would have given a 5 Star, but I have been unhappy with Goettl always calling/texting that they need to reschedule. I cannot count on Goettl to show up on the day/time slot that we had scheduled.

Abdiel came by and reviewed the ac units and explained to me what the conditions were and what they are supposed to be basically. He also explained to me the pros and cons of having either a repair done or a replacement. We went ahead and had repairs done and should be good to go for the summer. All in all great experience and no complaints from me as a loyal customer from Goettl.

I called GOETTL after my AC stopped cooling.  Tech Carlos Zapien showed up at my house and diagnosed the issue like a true pro.  Luckily for me it was a simple fix.  Nonetheless, he fixed the problem and got my AC up and going.  Carlos was on time and very professional.  He was also EXTREMELY knowledgeable and took the time to answer/explain my 100+ questions in detail.  If you ever call GOETTL, make sure to ask for Carlos Zapien.

I wish I could give Goettl no stars. These guys came out after I had a power surge from a storm that rolled through my area a couple weeks back. Told me that my condesor was shot and quoted me $6800.00. Come to find out a week later,
After a second opinion, that it was only the capacitor that needed to be replaced. These clowns also tried to sell a whole new system (20kish). I'll be deterring people away from this dishonest company. After speaking to someone there about my experience, I was told that by replacing the capacitor there would be no way to tell that condesor was bad even though the system was up and running. Horrible,  horrible experience!

Let me just add to the number of unsatisfied customers leaving disgruntled reviews here.  I had a major installation scheduled, quoted for thousands of dollars.  It was scheduled for first thing Friday.  It is now Saturday.  Nothing!
I called the company, after having called them three times yesterday to get updates and hearing replies of later today.  Now, they tell me, when I called, that they are too full today and can not schedule me until WEDNESDAY.  
Luckily, the weather is in the 80s and not, like the last few weeks, 103 degrees.  I am 69 years old and this could very easily have become a dangerous health issue.  Obviously, this service is totally unacceptable.  
Look elsewhere, is my hearty recommendation.  They do not do things :the right way as they claim.

We had plumbing issues the night before which caused a back flow and flushing issues to our toilets. We called for someone to come out to take a look and they were there within 2 hours. Tyler did a great job at explaining the process and pricing before he started the job and while he was doing each step. He helped resolve the issue of the main line clog causing the issues in our plumbing.

We had a service technician (Billy) from Goettl come out yesterday who came out and looked at our A/C and compressor. He informed us that we needed a new A/C (in which ours is older and will need replacement soon). However, he didn't do anything to fix it in the meantime, removed the part that it needs to power on, and we sat in this hot house all night and had to buy a portable A/C cause it was 100 degrees outside & 89 degrees in the house... Since they wanted to replace the whole thing, I called my home warranty... and waited the next day in the hot house that they left us in...

Then the next day, we had an appt scheduled w/ MD Ellis who came to service us as they were the referral from our home warranty. Caleb comes out and looks at the compressor, fixed a part that needed to be fixed, and got it done in about 30 mins. 30 MINUTES!!!! That's all it took!!! Next thing I know, cold A/C is coming out of the vents inside the house!!!

I can't believe the Goettl left a pregnant woman (whom I informed to the technician yesterday that I pregnant) in a hot house with no A/C, just so they could get us to purchase a new one! Ridiculous!

Call MD Ellis, they were fast, friendly, reliable & overall I'm so so grateful. Stressed & sweating in this hot house for one easily replaceable part!!!! So grateful for their great service and friendly technicians!!! They were in and out quick & I was extremely happy. I only paid the service fee cause we went through our home warranty company!

Called to obtain estimate on 1/31 for major plumbing repairs to my Ill mothers home. The lady who answered Asked very inappropriate and offensive questions about  my mothers health. I have never had similar issue with any of the plumbing companies I have used in the past. I can not recommend this company to anyone at this point.

Well. Now I am heading into night 5 with no heat in the house. Install done in March was wired wrong. The thermostat needs 6 wires and only 4 were installed.  It has been communicated several times by both myself and the tech that it will take 2 installers to run new wire. Goettl keeps sending 1 guy. I have asked for a manager to call me. I won't hold my breath. My neighbors on Wyoming St have been great. Called all their families and got me 2 space heaters. Wonder what CPS Energy bill is going to be.
Update 12/27/2022 finally we have heat. The 2 installers took 2 hours to run new wire. Everything is working great. I give the 2 guys who came today 5 stars.

Called Goettl weekday time period, (not even after hours emergency) the guy named Ryan came out with a big fake smile and talked BS in circles explaining why we needed to spend $8,900 for a clog. second, and third opinions on same problem were $59 and $89 with video confirmations what was really going on inside my pipes . Goettl is not in the plumbing business, they are in the business of extortion and taking advantage of the desperation a person experiences when there's a problem they themselves can't fix. Shame on you!

I hate writing bad reviews, but this company is crooked in my opinion.  I joined their Sadie Club, and scheduled them to come out for a heating rejuvenation and duct inspection (part of the service provided being in the Sadie Club}.  When I made the appointment I let them know that heat was not blowing from two of the vents in my home.  They completed the rejuvenation, the duct inspection, and got the heat to blow from the two inoperable vents.  The next day, the heat was no longer blowing from those same two vents so I called them again.  They said they would come out and take a look, but it will cost me a service call fee.  So they really did not fix  the vent issue the first time they came out, they simply put a band-aid on it, and will now come out and fix it the right way for a fee.   They should honor their work, come out again and fix the vents without a charge as I see it.  

On another occasion I called them because my garbage disposal wasn't working.  It hummed when I turned it on.  First, they did not show up on three different occasions during their scheduled time frame, and wanted to push the timeframes, but I could not have them come out later on those days.  When they finally were able to make it out, they looked at the disposal, did the same minor trouble shooting that I had already done, and deemed I needed a new disposal.  Keep in mind my home is only 2 years old and so are the appliances within.  They also told me the disposal would be $600.  I later found out I could get one from Lowes or HD for about $100.  I paid their service call fee, and then called my home warranty company who sent out a couple of guys that not only diagnosed the problem correctly, but also fixed it.  And the fix was not a new disposal.  

Lastly, before I became a Sadie Club member they were super responsive, didn't charge service calls, and replaced items that were under warranty with no charge.  Now that they have me as a member, and paying the $14.95/mo.  it seems as if the services provided have become worse, not better.

I have so many bad things to say about Goettl, let's start with the extended warranty I have on my Carrier air conditioner that they did not install or sell me. However, being in the business, they  know what an extended warranty covers. They refused to cover the labor, insisted it wasn't covered and would not listen to reason or read the policy which specifically stated the labor was covered.

Their plumbing service is not much better. I had someone fixing a leak in my master sink and asked him to look at a leaking fixture in the kitchen.  He found the leak and although he did not refuse to fix it he did not fix it. He simply made a comment that it was a good thing it was leaking on the side it was leaking so it wouldn't drip into the wood cabinet below.  Needless to say, I later had to have it fixed and they overcharged me and would not itemize the bill.

I had a service contract with them and this is how they treated me. Now I'm going to sign up with a different company who cares more about their customers than Goettl does.

we invited Goettl out to our house for an estimate to replace our entire system. The visit did not go well and to this day I regret contacting them. The very nice salesman did ask a few personal questions about religion and my marriage.A personal pet peeve. I was then quoted several rather hi prices. I passed. the next company did a look over and gave me a quote in much less time. Maybe they do great work. I am only reviewing the estimate process. It just was not my style.

Do not use this company. They pressure people for 5 star reviews and they will rob you of your time and money.

They installed our AC unit backwards and didn't seal the ducts. When we noticed roaches coming in and the air flow not being proper, they waived it off like we were the crazy ones. Said there was nothing wrong with the system and that they'd just install another air return vent. That did absolutely nothing. We were blasting the air in the house and it got freezing in the master bedroom whereas it was hot and humid elsewhere in the house. After 1.5 years of trying to battle with them and use their warranty which cost us money every time we used it, we got a second opinion from another AC company that was much more knowledgeable. They took pictures and gave us evidence that the unit was installed backwards, and the ducts were not sealed properly, and the ducts had microbes growing in it. The new AC company will reinstall the AC properly and completely redo the ducts.

They also tried to sell us a high quality water heater for $5727 for installation and water heater and recirculating pump. Oh my gosh I'm so glad we did not go with them. We had another plumber replace the water heater unit for $1600 and install a recirculating pump throughout the house for $400... and the guy was honest and everything works amazingly.

If you need a plumber or AC guy... just message me or something... I have much better contacts than Goettl. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I called to ask if they do trenchless repair of sewer lines. She had to place me on hold to find out. She finally said yes and so I asked how much does it cost to come out and diagnose my issue and give me estimate.  She vaguely said there is an 89.00 fee.  I said ok doesn't that include them using camera and other tools.  I thought that sounded too low.  She said not sure and I asked to speak to plumber or someone who knows before I schedule appointment.  She placed me on hold and said finally that a master plumber would call me that day and discuss.  I'm still waiting on a call back and that was over week ago!  There are too many other plumbing companies to hassle with a company that isn't responsive to simply give a call back.

I recently had a new AC installed.  This past weekend, it was not functioning properly.
Air was not cold coming out of vents.
Very upsetting.
I called Goettl and Eli was sent to check my AC.  
He was very professional,  affable and very knowledgeable.
He found the problem right away.  A valve was leaking coolant.  The installer didn't make sure the valve was shut tight!
Also helped me open panel where filter is located.  It was shut so that I couldn't open it at all.  
Eli did get it open and removed old filter.  Advised me to use smaller one that is inserted at bottom of AC.  
He tested everything, and took time to show me how to maneuver the control panel.
It was stuck on Celcius.
He rates 5+++++++ stars!!
I am so thankful Eli responded to my call and addressed all needs!!  Awesome customer service!!

I called and renewed my parents membership with Goettl AC. The gentleman I spoke with was pleasant and understood my situation and made renewing easy. Husam was the technician who came out and he was very nice and respectful while checking the three units in the house. He was also detailed on what the issues were for one of the AC units. These two gentlemen is what gave the company stars because without them I would have made every attempt to give this company 0 stars based off of their practice. $399 yearly membership and that gets them to come out and say everything is fine. But if something is not fine they say the last guy should have done X,Y,Z. The last guy was from Goettl tried to sell a brand new unit at a discounted price of $10k+ plus additional labor costs. What was the point of paying $399/year if the discounted price and is the same average price with other companies? I asked for them to email me a quote of the units so we can think about it and was told they can't until we schedule an appointment to have the manager go over the benefits of each option, aka salespitch. I don't know why we agreed to it and sure enough it was a salespitch and would not listen to our request of just email us the quote. Finally after getting him off the phone I get the emailed quote that clearly says the benefit of each option. If you are going to make a sales pitch, find out what is important to me and then tell me the value of the option to my need. The used car salesman approach (and I knew that was going to happen) will get us to say NO everytime. I only entertained the idea cause the technician, Husam, gave me some hope on Goettl sales tactics. I was so wrong and now membership is cancelled.

Terrible service. The guy showed up and couldn't figure out the issue. He said his iPad was showing him an airflow issue so he recommended cleaning the A coil inside by removing it for $2600 but he still wasn't sure if that was the issue. He also recommended just buying a new system for $15,000 because he couldn't figure it out. We ended up doing an in place cleaning for $355 which still didn't work. He couldn't figure out the issue still and was on the phone with one of his buddies looking for an excuse and way to leave. Total rip-off service and still got left without an answer after almost 3 hours.  The next day another awesome company came and found, fixed the issue within 30 minutes, explained what exactly was wrong, showed me what was wrong and he knew what he was talking about.

I will generally not post negative reviews unless I believe it's warranted, and I waited until I had two separate second opinions on our HVAC system as a whole before leaving a review on Goettl. This is a review based on an appointment requesting the 'Rejuvenation' service they offered. In summary, my unit was working 'okay but not great' before Goettl looked at it. The tech that looked at our unit essentially left me with the assessment that our unit was going to fail imminently and that it was basically time to replace it (a 9 and a half year old Trane unit) without many details.

While he was working/assessing it, there was a - I'll call it a 'power event' - that occurred (I believe it was likely a short caused by his opening of the outside unit panel and likely mismanagement of loose wires - but admittedly have zero proof that that was the case) that caused our home to intermittently lose power as the compressor attempted restart, seizing our compressor and thermally locking it out (this had never happened in the 5 years in the home) requiring him to use a hard start kit to get it back up and running after about an hour of him trying to troubleshoot the problem that was likely caused by him (I can't believe that his presence was simply coincidental to an unrelated power issue that caused our unit to fail). Our unit had never stopped working in the 5 years we've been in the home - this is the first time we experienced a total compressor failure; while the Goettl technician was physically on my property and working on the unit.

Ultimately, the unit was left in a more handicapped/compromised position after the service/inspection than before, and a second opinion assessment of the condition of our unit very quickly identified the issue to be a bad capacitor, which had been bad (very obviously for a while) before we'd had it looked at by Goettl (based on the rust buildup on the bulging capacitor). I will never have Goettl return to evaluate/inspect/service our systems due to the experience I had within the past 2 weeks. I felt that I received poor/potentially misleading information about our system as a whole from the technician (which turned out to be largely untrue or exaggerated), the system was left in a worse situation than before the Goettl technician was engaged (compromised and only able to run with a hard start kit after whatever the tech did caused the unit to seize), and the technician failed to identify a very clear (at least in my opinion) bulging/failed capacitor which was the reason for our system running a little less efficiently in the first place. Sure - they brought a toy flashlight and stuffed dog that my kids love, but gimmicks don't fix or improve AC units. Forget the toys, focus on quality assessments and system improvements.

If I could give this company a 0 star I would.

Our unit went out and Goettl came to inspect and repair it. They tech mentioned he needed to switch out the breaker to see what was happening with the unit, what the tech did was he switched the breaker from a 60 to a 40 kilowatt breaker. The AC unit does not call for a 40 kilowatt breaker it needs the 60, so why he did that... who knows?! Once the unit turned on, he said EVERYTHING needed to be replaced, the ENTIRE unit. We paid $600 for the tech to switch out the breaker, $600 to switch out the WRONG breaker. Then once he got the unit to turn on for what was 5 min and it ended up tripping again. He recommended a new unit entirely, we got quoted 28k to replace everything. Thankfully we turned away to have other company's and tech to come out and inspect. We decided to go with Gillette AC and the techs have already told us that we have the wrong breaker, the 40 watt that the Goettl tech added in and was confused why we were charged that outrageous amount and was told incorrect information on our unit. Gillette AC was able to fix our unit without replacing it entirely, just switched out parts that were needing to be replaced. Unless you want to get scammed and robbed $600 for false advise and inspections come here. We're contacting Goettl to get refunded our $600 for the tech to place in the wrong breaker and gave a false diagnosis.

I would give them zero stars if I could. Two days in a row they have been no-shows for an estimate on an entire house new HVAC system. They tell you they're coming and then two hours later no one is there. Four hours of time wasted. We've had no satisfaction with them and will be looking for a different company for this big project.

I don't think they deserve any stars!  They advertise for $80 they will clear your drain and they did not even try!  They ran the camera, saw the clog and instead of clearing it they gave me an estimate for $15,000 to fix it?  WoW, yes it had roots in the pipe but I know now that they have ways of clearing them out and opening the pipe.  They did not try anything, just more money and the estimate was from Elmers Pluming?  So I would be ware of both companies.  BE WARE!!  DO NOT CALL!!

I had the worst experience with Goettl on Jan 27th. The service technician and his manager were dishonest. They are liars.
It was time for the heating system tune up. I was contacted by a somewhat panicked sounding technician who wanted to ensure I was on a personal phone because he had very concerning news and he also said he didn't want the tenant to hear.
He said my furnace was leaking carbon monoxide and the reading went from 9-19 then 26 & I was probably looking at a furnace exchange. When I asked why  fire detector/carbon monoxide monitors hadn't gone off he said they're set at 70... He had an answer for everything. He told me the system was 12 yrs old, poorly maintained, & filters not changed often. He also said the thermostat settings it has been run on contributed to the issue.
I told him it's 10 yrs old ( the house is 10 years old, I had it built), has routine tune ups and filters are changed regularly.  I told him I needed to get an immediate 2nd opinion and he tried to dissuade me and asked if I lost trust in him. He sent tons of pictures and a very urgent video. He said he had to report the readings to his manager who would call me if I wanted that. Sure, I said. The manager called immediately, same song and dance, said no time to wait. I need to get a new furnace he said. He also said, when I questioned why the detector hadn't gone off, that it goes off between 40 -70 when the danger requires evacuation.  He said in the meantime, people in the house are breathing in these high levels of carbon monoxide. Again, I said I need a 2nd opinion because you want to replace the furnace which will be very costly. He tried to dissuade me but I was adamant. I told the technician another company was on  the way. The Goettl technician texted me a bit later and said to keep him posted and again, he  added, he didn't tell the tenants. These  2 were like used car salesman.
I called SHERLOCK HOMES AC/HVAC for a 2nd opinion.  I've used them on another rental....sooooo honest. He arrived an hour after Goettl left. He spent a little over 2 hours  there. He said the furnace, for a Carrier, is in excellent condition, no leak detected just dirty flame sensors. He said all of his monitors were reporting every thing as being perfect. He explained how CO is expelled through the flue and not going into the house and about how the whole exchange works.
I called Goettl the same day and filed a complaint and canceled the service contract which had 1 week left on it. I directed them not to renew it.
The property is a long term executive rental. I'm the only owner and the property is above and beyond well maintained.  Even the tenant said the Goettl technician was lying.  I guess she overheard him .
I am so disappointed in these men who concocted such a terrible lie.
Shame on you,  you know who you are.

I received a text apologizing and voicing concern about 2 days later that their goal is a positive customer experience and what can we do to make it right blah blah blah. I responded, since my service contract expired the following week and I directed customer service not to renew it, could they reimburse the $200 I had to spend on a 2nd opinion d/t the dishonesty of their employees. Crickets.

Had air conditioning/heater work preformed.  Needed to have the plenum replaced.  GOETTL sent Dylan Covey and John Melendez to do the work.  They explained everything that needed to be accomplished.  The were both extremely professional and talented.  I also had a total house air purification system installed to improve the air quality.  They had the work done within the time that was quoted and made sure that everything was cleaned up afterwards.  Before leaving the tested  the system to ensure that I was completely satisfied.  Kudos to the both of them for doing an amazing job.

In the summer of 2022, my ductwork and insulation was torn up by raccoons and needed to be replaced.  Goettl had one of the highest reviews on Google so I scheduled an appointment and they came out within the week.  I was given a price of $10,800 for complete insulation and ductwork replacement.  I was then told I would save 10% off all services (including this one) if I bought their maintenance plan for $199.  I was told the total cost would then be $9,720.  After signing up and paying the $199 fee, I was told the price of $10,800 DID not include the insulation cost (even though I specifically asked if the price included the insulation and was told by the tech present and his supervisor on the phone that it did), and that the discount did not apply.  So the cost went from $9,720 to $13,300 AFTER I paid the $199 fee.  Goettl refused to honor their original quote, but after several hours of phone calls with management, did tell me I would get the $199 refunded.  I never received the refund.  This week (SIX MONTHS LATER), they told me again that they would refund the $199 but the receipt emailed to me shows a refund of only $110 (which I have yet to receive).  Save yourself a headache and go with a different company.  I find it VERY important to note that I attempted to leave a bad review on Google and it was not posted.  Then I look here, and they have HORRIBLE reviews.  I no longer trust Google reviews.

Had a leak and rattle.  My system is 2 years old.  Tech was very disrespectful  and also misdiagnosed  issue.  Told me I  needed new unit.  Then told me I should  contact company who installed it charged me $89 and left.  I called installer, they took care of the leak unclogging drain and the rattle...no new ac needed.  I've waited a couple  months to review to make sure things were good and everything  is in working order.  Will never call these guys again.

So updated review on the plumbing side of Goettl. Recap: called service to do a simple switch out of fixtures on 2 showers of which service was supposed to be completed between the hours of 3-5 day before Thanksgiving. Service rescheduled to day after Thanksgiving 9-11; rescheduled for 9-5; finally arrived a little after 11. Technician assessed situation price...$630 (they wave the service fee of 89 dollars if you use them). We had the parts, so that was the COST FOR LABOR on the plumbing side of the Goettl business. Wife wanted it done, so yes my fault to continue with service. Technician was in and out in about an hour and job well done (thus the 1 star). Expressed my disappointment with price and had a manager contact me to explain pricing...sum it up...overhead and it is standard pricing was the explanation given. Hey they have a great radio advertising campaign for their AC and heating, and they sounded like a company that wants to help you, but based on my experience with the plumbing extension I will not be using them for any of my AC/Heating or plumbing needs in the future.

Rip Off! It's a money game not a how can we help fix the problem game. We had some plumbing issues and we also wanted to flush out water heater. We called them out and they did absolutely nothing and charged us for absolutely nothing. They literally came in flushed my downstairs toilet and said it flushes fine so everything is good here. They went out to get their paperwork for payment and weren't even going to check my other two bathrooms. I had ask them twice to check and again they just flushed the toilet and said well they seem fine so we need to collect the payment now. I basically paid $50 for a small stuffed animal dog and a flashlight that they hand you when they get their. They wanted to run $1000 tests which I'm not sure why since according to them everything was fine after flushing. They also will not show up and just not tell you unless you call to see where they are (that happened twice)! Very unprofessional and I'd be very hesitant to use their service and definitely wouldn't recommend.

I call on a Sunday. Someone answered. That was awesome. My AC had a leak. Inside. They said between 5-7 pm. Nobody called, text, or emailed. At 8pm a person arrived.
Nice. Curtains. Gave children gifts.
As soon as he saw the system and age he said we likely needed a replacement. He spent an hour and said to us he didn't know. Could not fix. Recommended a new system.
We declined.
I asked him how long with Guettl. He said 4 months. They trained him on home HVAC. He only recently has been out alone.
Nowwr know why he couldn't diagnose.
The next day I called Champion Air. I still had a leak. They diagnosed the issue at our sink. Our AC drains into a bedroom sink and the sink drain had partially clogged making AC leak.
He then tested system, added freon, did a visual, and charged fairly.

I would never ever ever ever call Guettl again. Friendly service. Nice gifts. Clean and respectful. No knowledge, trained to upsell. Waste of time and money.

This review cost $89.00 for my money spent on your service fee.

We had clogged pipes and they came out. When they got here my wife was told it would cost $80 and that she needed to get a membership for $15 per month. They ran a snake and said everything was good. The next morning one of our showers was still clogged, so we called and they came back. The same two guys showed up and said we had to pay another $80. We asked about our membership and they didn't know anything about it.  They ran the snake in the shower and said that they should have checked that the day before. The next day I walked outside and the cap was off of our outside main pipe which was full of water and clogged still. My wife called and was informed that she would be charged again even though the job was never finished. We are going to another company and would never recommend this joke of an outfit.

My husband broke our outside water pipe over the weekend. I was able to get Goettl out to my house within 4 days but it was a holiday weekend so that's to be expected. They were kind of pricey but I didn't really want to try and get multiple quotes after being without water for awhile. The guys that came out were super nice and professional (Rudy H and Jason B). They had the pipe fixed within an hour! I signed up for their membership so we will see how other services go.

I recently had my foundation fixed which caused plumbing issues. Called Goettl to get a quote on the work. They came out right away and looked at the issue for the price of the service call. Once they figured out the issue I got a quote on the work. This was the day before Thanksgiving. A 5ft tunnel needed to be dug for the repair. They said someone would be out probably Friday to do the work. Then before they left they contacted the tunnel person who asked if they could come out on thanksgiving. So we rearranged our schedule and they never showed up. Then I called again on Friday morning and they said he would be there soon. Told me it would take two days. Well it only took one but they never let me know. Ended up what they did didn't solve all the issues so had to have more work done. They kept telling me people would be there on certain days and then they never showed up. From tunnel people to inspectors. They also called the city to come out at 7pm the night before Thanksgiving to check for power lines so they could dig on Thanksgiving and told them it was an emergency. They pretty much gave me the runaround every time I called. Something came up with an inspector, this happened or that happened. Sent me a message for a FaceTime call but never answered that. It was apparently for the inspector not me. Took over 3 weeks to get it finished during which time I had to leave my dogs in the house. I understand things happen but I feel I was basically lied to. They told me I didn't have to pay until it was complete. Was told I would get an inspector report to show it all passed. Still nothing. But I have been getting calls from Monica asking for the money and she hasn't been the nicest. So overall the work was ok but the runaround I got would make me not recommend them to anyone. Even talked to a manager who would stay on top of it and get back to me. Still have never heard from him again! I spent over $14,000 with them!

Update: funny how Michael is sometimes a manager and sometimes the owner but can never locate the service they did at your house.
Michael - please speak to Monica or Justin and they know exactly the address and how to contact be! I have all my texts back and forth from them so I know they can contact me. They just sent someone over to make sure the hole was filled and when the tech got there he asked me why he was there. He called the office and spoke to Monica and she had him go over so I would pay the bill!

I called them out to get an estimate to repair or replace my hvac unit and it was very sales pitchy, I repeatedly asked for a written quote on what this would cost and they just  gave verbal numbers while wanting a commitment from me to use them. I said, for such a high dollar repair it is wise to get a second opinion and they still would not give a written estimate for parts and labor. The tech (Billy) was very polite and was always trying to build a connection with me and my family and this too came across as very sales oriented. The tech called his boss and on speaker phone they had a conversation that seemed like a dog and pony show for me. The boss asked if my wife was present and as we all know that is the first thing a sales associate does to make sure they can get a commitment and it keeps you from saying, I will have to talk to my wife. After they left I looked over my hvac system and screws had been left out of the door panels and silver tape scraps were left on top of the unit. To date I have not gotten a call back or a quote. A new air conditioner and heating system was just installed in my home by this company.  Billy F was  very friendly and knowledgeable during the estimate visit.  Manny Ocañas and Roman Salazar did an excellent job with the installation.   Manny seemed very detail oriented.  He checked and rechecked  to make sure the system was working as expected.  All the work was done in one day!  They even brought a company swag as a gift.  Very sweet.

We paid for two new HVAC units to be installed in our home four months ago. Since then, we have had no less than 10 service calls. After having the issues (poor cooling) blamed on animals in our attic (FALSE) and insufficient insulation (FALSE), we finally had an honest technician tell us that BOTH units were installed incorrectly. In the countless service visits since, Goettl blew a service line and left all the debris in our shower, which caused a clog. They blew a drain line, which we had to pay for the parts to repair. And after being told everything was finally fixed, one of our systems is dead again today.

Best part, we've asked to speak with a service Manager countless times. We've been repeatedly promised that a Manager would call. In all those promises, exactly one manager has called. When speaking with that manager, I received nothing but political answers that dodged all meaningful questions. As I kept pressing, the manager said (and I quote), I think you need to speak with another service manager. She then hung up on me. Since then, we cannot get a manager to call us.

This is undoubtedly the worst customer service I've ever experienced and absolutely nobody at Goettl cares. They collected their money and continue to provide horrendous service, all while expecting customers that have already paid to sit around for hours waiting on them to show up to do it the right way. What a load of garbage.

Do not use this company unless you want poor quality, horrendous service and high prices.

I was overcharged for a basic water heater install I looked at the exact same model online and they're selling it for $500 they charged me $3098. I contacted customer care and they said they would look into it but all I got was the run around from the on site manager Mike M. Who refused to give me an itemized receipt or his full name or anything for that matter. I asked if he could give me a breakdown as to why it was so expensive. He just refused and said we're a flat rate company I said I understand that but can you please break down exactly how much the cost is for the water heater or anything else same reply we're a flat rate company I realized at that moment that they just pull figures out of their ass and that I'm not gonna be getting any sort of compensation or resolve like they assured me. I'll never give my business to this company another day in my life. This company does not care about you or veterans, be carful and steer clear of this company at all costs.

Had a water heater start to leak from corrosion caused be the harsh water in SA. Although it was the weekend, Goettl found the time to diagnose the problem, give me options and ultimately have everything fixed that same day.

We were members prior to today's appointment. We paid $22.95 monthly for over a year only to be charged $199.+ because the plumber could not find out gas  on and off switch and had to go in the attic. It turns out he needed to light the pilot from fireplace area..smh. And we asked for them to look at a ceiling area, and restroom to see if there is a leak. He did nothing but told us to caulk around tub area or he could run test for $149, and if he did work it would be $500+. Can you say scam? They used to be a good company but not anymore. Buyer beware!

This turned out to be an interesting process. Although they were called to fix a water heater they spent much more time checking the whole house, most likely to up-sell the call. I now know the status of my water soft, for instance, although I don't think it is rela ted to the water heater.  I was told that the gas control valve and the pilot/burner assembly were bad but I was required to call the company and order the replacement parts!  When I called the company I was told that the two parts NEVER went out at the same time! The company was NOT going to provide both parts and I had to beg them plus agree to pay the shipping even though the parts were UNDER WARRANTY!  The quoted price for replacing the 2 parts was $675! I sought out another plumber and they replaced the parts for $181! I will use that other company in the future! PM me if you want their name!

I have had only 1 dealing with this company. I had to get financing for the amount they were charging. They were then unable to complete the job and did not change the amount on the bill. I made 2 complaints. I was promised a 300 dollars check and that the finance company would be notified. Which im still waiting for this to happen. So they kept 733 dollars as a tip. Be leary of this company.

This company is a king of Bate & Switch.  They were to replace a water softer that was under warranty.  The initial pitch was to sale me an upgraded product for $5,000. I asked them to replace my unit as specified by warranty.  After removing my unit they installed a unit that had no markings to indicate the brand. i had another company to look at it and was told no one could tell what kind of product they had installed. No paperwork and no sales slip.  We are 3 weeks down the road, lots of calls and a ton of lies from the company. Only when I told the ManAgee that I would file charges with the DA's office did they bring out the new Softner with document.  I cannot even count the number of lies they told me.  My advice, Stay Away from this company!

Have been part of the Sandy's protection plan and planning to terminate soon after the spring service.  The technicians are very knowledgeable and friendly but they seem to only want to sell big jobs!  I currently need some plumbing work done as identified by the Goettl technician for a quote of $300 but I never get a call back and I have reached out several times to get the problem resolved.  I understand that maintenance plans exist to get technicians in the door and afford them an oppressive to make sales, but you have to take care of the little stuff so that customers know you will care about the big things.  I also keep getting an invoice yet the work was never done.  Had I purchased a new hot water heater I know they would had been here soonest the schedule allowed to get all the work done.  Now I have to call another company to get this fixed and will be purchasing a hot water heater from someone else.  A bit frustrated because I have called twice for resolution and sent several messages, oh well.

This company is the WORST people to work with had a leak and thought it was fixed.  The tech they sent out argued with my husband because we want for the tech to do his job.  He slammed our water softener around and broke the connection.  Goettl said it wasn't their problem and they would not correct the connection or replace the water softener the tech broke.  Said they came out when we called so it was not their responsibility and would not fix anything. Said my husband tampered with the hoses and that was the problem, which was a LIE, we turn off the water to the house because of the leak.  These are untrustworthy people and will lie to make themselves not responsible for anything.

Our AC had stopped working yesterday afternoon in the 109 heat. We called Goettl and they sent out a tech within the 1 hour frame they quoted. Xavier was extremely professional and helped us understand it was a sensor that was dirty. He cleaned it and made sure we had Freon in our system before he left. He talked to my mom as if she was his mom and was understanding on how he wouldn't want his own mom in a hot home. I am very thankful for Xavier and this company for their professionalism

What a horrid experience trying to price a new air conditioner.  The initial price was $25,000!  Once I challenged them, they dropped down to $12,000.  It took forever to get a bid, we had to call the office to get it and it went up to $15,000, no explanation. Waste of time, and the worst part, we didn't trust them. They only sell a Japanese air conditioner that they then brand under their name.  The salesman told us that the SEER rating wasn't important LOL!

Dear potential Goettl customers. I retract most of my former hateful review and bump this from a 1 star to a 3 star. I would have given them 5 stars except for 2 issuesThat goettl as a company should address. upon those being addressed i will add the last 2 stars to my review and give them the 5 stars they deserve
. Even though they couldnt fix it same day (which i expect when i spend 14k on an a/c.) It was an easy to fix issue, my gripe is they could have EASILY  helped me troubleshoot it over the phone and our house would have been habitable yesterday and there would have been no need for hateful reviews. So goettl take notes... triage and troubleshoot when someone calls and save everyone the heartache tell them if its just a simple floatswitch issue 1 star off for no basic troubleshooting by phone.  Also 1 star off  for your stupid recorded hold message it is enough to make me puke. It says youre going to make it right do things the right way not the easy way and all that crappy msg effectively did was piss me off way worse.  You need to discontinue that for sure. Its not funny its not reassuring , its condescending and trivilaizes your customers and their needs. It was probably the owners idea. Do not listen to him, its a bad idea and im not the only person it pisses off. Dont trivialize the customer. You would do much better with soothing hold music. Kens voice is awful for that kind of thing and i cant stress enough how much i hated listening to it. Switch to hold music and do triage and basic  troubleshooting  by phone amd i will add those last 2 stars. Alex was top notch, super understanding and walked me through everything he really diffused the tension and was super polite. He gets 5 stars

I am changing my review to a 1*. This company managed to turn a issue with pricing into a showing of little concern for my experience or respect for me as a customer. The response from the manager went with no follow up. I responded via email and on Yelp with my contact info. Nothing. Then I get a second email.

I wrote the review based off my conversation with the company on the 10th. I got the refund because I was not willing to pay $1000 in labor to switch out 2 kitchen faucets.  That other email was on the 11th. If this is the service level you get and organization you get from a promise for them to reach out so they can better understand the issue I would hate to see how they would handle a real issue had I hired them for a job. If you say you are going to reach out because you want to understand the issue then stand by your word, please don't just post a response for others to see showing your concern if it is not truly there.

This company overprices and up charges every visit and then will swindle you into a service plan that truly doesn't save much. The serviceman was messing with my A/C unit which is about to kink out anyway., I no longer trust this company and am leaving!  My house is 10 years old and I know it needs replacements but I will not be going with this company again!

After being told by their employees that they will be glad to help they want a little bit more detailed information so they could give me an actual true quote. Then I don't hear from anybody for four days at which time the owner contacts me and tells me all we don't do that kind of work? AC work?  They are an air-conditioning company but I found another company that did the work and it was fantastic so no I would not recommend this company because one person says they can do it and the other says they can't and they do air conditioner so I don't know stay away from them

I've had issues with my water heaters in the past. One of the master plumbers at Wills All Pro helped me figure it out and I am grateful for his expertise. Unfortunately, Wills All Pro was bought out by Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing. I called them and told them I needed my water heaters checked, I also told them to bring two sacrificial anodes for my water heaters. I also told them my kitchen faucet was leaking and that it would need to be repacked. We settled on a date and time but that didn't matter, They rescheduled me four times. Two of those times I had to call them to find out where they were, only to be told that they can't make it. When they finally did make it out to my place they didn't have the anodes with them and also didn't have the repacking I needed for my faucet. In all fairness to Goettl, they didn't charge me for the service call. In all fairness to me, I got what I paid for, which was nothing. There are so many plumbing company's out there that want your business so you don't have to put up with service like this.

Our AC went out recently and as we've heard multiple commercials for this company, we decided to give them a call. Our AC system was misdiagnosed and the immediate answer was to replace the entire system and they were giving us a deal at ~$2,500 off. The total was at $10,000 for full replacement with install for the least expensive unit. We were given a mere 30 minutes to decide and opted to not utilize their services. We had another company come out, diagnosed it as simply being low on Freon and cost us a mere $257.47. I do NOT recommend or trust this company after my interaction with them.

I called this company because they seem to have a high reputation online. They came out quickly to look at my blower motor that had failed to try and replace it. I know that everything is a premium right now but the quote to fix a 1hp blower motor was 2000 dollars plus labor which seemed a little excessive at first. I did ask what it would cost to install a new unit since what I have is older and it may not be much more. They quoted me $25,000 dollars for a fairly small unit. Having a close friend that has owned a HVAC business in DFW for 20+ years I asked his opinion and after reviewing some details not only was the motor 1/4 of the price they quoted me, we also realized that at the price I was quoted by Goettl I could have this company from DFW load up a unit, drive down to San Antonio, install it in my house, drive back to DFW, pick up another new unit, drive it back to San Antonio, and install it again and still come out less expensive than $25,000. I understand it's hot but this is straight highway robbery. Charging such a high premium while the temperature is at a place where people could actually die should be illegal. Goettl is not a local business to San Antonio and there lack of care towards the community show. I will never do business with them, or Will's All Pro who they just bought.

The tech was good but not knowledgeable about our in apartment AC. He did not know the the condenser was inside the the unit. That was a red flag. Took pictures and sent to project manager. We asked for quotes on their unit by Amana and Trane. He called back scheduling a call with manager to discuss prices and financing. Never called. Texted the tech. He said he would contact the manager. Over 15 hours no emails, phone calls or text. Watch out for Goettl, sales pitch, financing and over pricing like a used car dealership. Look at all other reviews - bad reviews. Large company. Buying smaller AC family owned businesses. I'm seeking out local businesses. Red flag this business

I wanted to put up a mini split ac unit on my enclosed porch and obtained a quote from Goettl. Jaime came to my home on 2 June 2022. When he explained what they would do it sounded great. He then told me that they could come out the same day and install the unit. I paid a deposit of $4000 because I work from home and use the porch as my office and since it is getting hot I was happy to have this done so fast. However, after checking around I realized that I was being charged a lot so I wanted to wait and get a few other quotes. I called Goettl the same afternoon to cancel and was told by the customer service rep that they already had someone coming out on the 3rd to do the job. I could not sleep so I called again on the 3rd at 3am to have the job cancelled and have been calling every day since then to see if I could get my deposit back. I even called yesterday 8 June to ask if I could get something from them stating that the job has been cancelled but no dice. I was told by a friend to call Berluga Air which I did. The representative told me it would cost between $9000 and $12000 to get the unit installed however because it was the porch putting a unit there would have been a major undertaking. He advised me to go to Lowes and purchase a portable unit with the hose. I purchased this for $399 and got a friend to install. Goettl could have done the same but they saw an opportunity in this hard time to try to screw over a single retired woman. Shame on you. Hopefully, no one will use your company again. You are very unscrupulous. And now, please return my $4000 deposit. Thank you. You also need to change your slogan because you definitely do not do things the right way.

Our AC stopped working after trying to replace the thermostat. Called Goettl on a Saturday night and they were able to get a tech out Sunday morning. The tech was able to locate the blown fuse and told me that I should replace it on my own because it would cost a couple hundred dollars for him to replace. The fuse was very uncommon and I could not find it at any of the stores he recommended. After finding the fuse on Tuesday, I replaced it on my own and the ac would get power, but the internal fan wouldn't blow. Called again that Tuesday night and and they were able to get a tech out Wednesday afternoon. That tech looked at the tech for about a minute and was very quick to quote me for a $1600 new fan. After declining to do that, he identified that it might be the capacitor and again, gave me a few stores to look at that did not have any of that type in stock. I ended up calling the HOA maintanance to come look (it's a condo so since we own the condo, maintanance doesn't take any repair calls. They only repair units who rent from the HOA). They had a capacitor in the office so the guy came over to take a look (took time out of his own day, he isn't paid to fix owners units). He actually looked at the AC diagram (more than either tech did) and identified that not only was the capacitor that installed was the wrong one, but the first tech that came out unplugged the cable that controlled the fan. So what I was told was the problem was a $1600 replacement, was actually just a cable the was taken out by the first tech. It took the HOA guy about 5 minutes to identify and fix my problem. After sitting in a 95 degree condo with dogs for 4 days (outside temp exceeded 100 degrees all 4 days) I was very upset. I called the office number and they took what I had to say and informed me that a manager would be in contact with me on Thursday. I did not receive any calls on Thursday and only received a text this morning that I would be refunded for the first tech coming out. No phone call apologizing or asking what could have done better or any attempt to make things right by me. I wish I read the reviews before calling because now I see this is a larger trend issue. If you are having an AC issue, call anyone other than Goettl. Their first response to fix your problem is replace your whole system. They spent more time quoting a new system to me than actually identifying my problem.

Mad an appointment for a clogged drain. It was confirmed over the phone for 11:00am the next day. We got a confirmation text saying the appointment was for 1:00am. I figured this was a clerical error so I contacted them the next morning to clear it up. The rep let me know that they cannot keep the appointment at 11:00, I presume because it got put into the system incorrectly when we were on the call and they already booked that time slot. Now I've still got a clogged drain and have to find another more reputable company to help me. Super frustrated. I will not attempt to use this company in the future and I advise everyone to be weary.

On 8/19/2021, 2 guys showed up to fix my A/C which had stopped cooling. All I can say that these 2 guys were not only professional, but provided excellent customer service. They showed me the pictures & videos of some issues. A certain piece was replaced for $200. Thank goodness it wasn't more serious! However his camera found something that I wasn't aware of.... some of my ducts have MOLD! If it hadn't been for their thorough checkup, I would never have known! KUDOS to JUAN LUCERO & his companion for their expert service! Now I've gotta find a company to clean out all that mold.

I wanted to let you know I have changed my 5 star review to a 1 star because that is the lowest the rating would go. If the scale would have went lower I would have picked the lowest. Don't get me wrong when Goettl's technicians come out they do phenomenal work but I changed my review due to the extremely poor customer service my wife and I got from the scheduling department and managers promising you the world that they would personally take care of you but its all smoke and mirrors. My wife and I had spent over $30k this past year with Goettl. The hot water install was great. A few months went by and there was a small leake which surprisingly they came out and fixed immediately.
After that our complete AC install, duct, and insulation install was very questionable as for the scheduling and terrible communication from them and managers about the job completion etc. The technicians who came out did a great job and the install was great. They got a bit cheap with the amount of insulation they put in the attic but after leaving a whole section undone. Which they came out to fix later. However, this goes back to me having to reach out numerous times to get someone out here to fix that issue. They schedule with you and dont show. We even had a time we werent on the schedule and they just showed up unannounced to complete the work. Our largest frustration with Goettl was their AC technicians scratched our $3k custom front door which they said they would fix and if we were unhappy they would replace it. A carpenter came out to fix it but he said he was going to come back the next day to finish his touch up once the paint dried. This was mid Sept we have been trying to get him to come back since then. It is now Feb we had reached out to him numerous times with no luck. He would schedule with us and either reschedule or just not show when we had an appointment. We have called him and his managers numerous times. I talked to a few managers one in particular who said I will personally see to it that this carpenter would be out which we had a schedule date and time but yet again no show or call from the carpenter or manager. This was over 2 weeks ago so this manager doesnt really see these customer concerns through like he said he does. My wife and I even signed up for the Sadie's VIP which we cancelled because that didnt help and we figured would be a waist of money since no one in their scheduling department or managers communicate with their technicians. Which proves to me no one cares. I even went as far to leave a few messages for Ken Goodrich to call me if he wanted to satisfy a customer by making this situation right and like good ole Goettle fashion. Crickets!!!! Overall, Goettls technicians who have come out to service our home have been amazing and I would give them all 5 stars for their work and efforts. As for the scheduling department and the direct managers we had worked with, did the worst job by providing the worst customer service I have ever received. They promise you the world and guarantee someone will be out to take care of you as their customer dont back it up and do things the right way. It makes my wife and I really feel like they got their money so they are through with us. This is very disappointing and disheartening because we were hoping to be life long customers but this has definitely made us reconsider that thought.

When mowing the lawn, I discovered a puddle in my yard. I called the plumber I normally use. They showed up the next day at my appointment time, but spent the next 20 minutes in the van smoking and talking on the phone.  When I finally did talk to the guy, he told me it would be cheaper if I called a leak detection service to find the leak, me dig the hole, then call them back to fix the leak. I called the leak detector service, but they booked up for two weeks. I called a couple other plumbers. I couldn't get anyone to come out that day, until I called Goettl Plumbing. The lady I spoke to told me someone would be out within two hours. A few minutes later I received a call from one of the managers, who told me he was sending Henry. He also sent me a text with Henry's picture and location tracker.

When Henry arrived I found him to be very polite, professional, and eager. After discussing where we both thought where the leak was, Henry went to digging. I went back inside. One time, I checked on his progress, I found him sitting chest deep in a muddy hole, bailing water. I think I'm getting close was his only comment. I shook my head and went back to the air conditioning. A little bit later Henry rang the doorbell. He had found the leak. It wasn't far from where he thought it was, but it was at least 10 feet from where I thought it had to be.

He fixed the leak and back filled the hole.  All while working in the hot, San Antonio, afternoon sun. He always had a upbeat and pleasant attitude.

My experience with Goettl Plumbing couldn't have been any better. I highly recommend!

Do NOT use Goettle in San Antonio! They destroyed our 10-year old AC system! They left it looking like someone had thrown spaghetti over it - there were so many wires hanging from the system! They sent out 4 different technicians and each only made the situation worse! We waited for a promised call from the project manager in Phoenix and never heard a word! We ended up having to replace the entire system and am now happily with another company. Also, Goettle installed our water heater. It stopped working on day 3 due to a bad circuit (it happens). When they replaced the circuit, they did not plug in the water heater and we, unknowningly, ran the system on backup AA batteries. When they came to fix it, the technician kept asking us why we unplugged the system! And don't get me started on the air duct cleaning! A 1-day job turned into a 10 day ordeal! Their technician training is severely lacking. As a professional development trainer, it is apparent their training processes are poor at best. Do NOT use Goettle! You are wasting your time and money.

I bought a $15,000 a/c system. Very friendly salesman. Agreed to buy an upgraded 4 in air filter. This was not installed. Manager called me and was very nice.  Advised the air filter I purchased  was going to take to long to order so he said he would give their best electrostatic airfilter and install it the next day because I was getting my ducts cleaned also. It was never installed. I called customer service and was advised she saw that it was being ordered and call me to set up an apt. This never happened. I called when I noticed my ladder was missing. The salesman used it to get in my attic and left it there and the installers used it all day. I informed customer service of this and he said the manager would call me about the filter and my ladder. This never happened. They also got the concrete putty they used all over my wall and baseboard. It seems that once they make the sale they are no longer concerned.  I'm very disappointed as they were very good and friendly at first but now I am paying for an air filter I don't have and missing my ladder and nobody will follow up with what they said they will do. I recently have come to the conclusion I was ripped off. My typical system is 9k.  My ladder was taken which yall replaced my walls were damaged which look worse than before with the paint used. I paid for an upgrade I didn't get and was compensated with a product I do not want. My air vent fell off today because it was not properly attached. There is no bracket it's screwed into the drywall. This should have been taken care of on install. The compartment was full of insulation that was not vacuumed up. I am very disappointed. Advised Goettl of this and said would be contacted by branch manager. This has not happend. I also pay for a membership where they are suppose to clean my a/c yearly. This did not happen. The public needs to be made aware of this company's practices.

I had an appointment 9-11. Called to see when they were coming at 11:15. Dispatcher said they were busy with other calls, will not be showing up AT ALL TODAY and can reschedule me end of year or January. NO ONE contacted us and I asked why, he said they did then found it was overlook. We were booked, how do you take another job and disregard your scheduled appointment, you didn't not have this morning open! Sad that we paid for annual service so they have our money and can now hold us hostage and pull in other clients. We had our summer a/c done, the a/c backed up, ran through my ceilings downstairs. They did not properly clean the drain. . ..added comment. I got a response from Michael, noticed that now is a canned response on every poor review. I did respond. Waiting to see what happens next. My tankless water heater froze during the ice storm, no longer producing hot water.  I called 3 plumbers and Goettl came out about 3 weeks later. Not a problem as they are all very busy.   He did not open the front panel and inspect, nothing.  But, he did tell me he could replace the unit for $10,000.   I asked why $10,000? when the unit is priced retail at $1450.00, permit/inspection about $150.00 and he told me it was a couple hours of work.  He told me they had to make money.

One of the other plumbers called and a new unit was installed for about $2,000.

Moral of the story, call another plumber!!   I saved $8000. by doing so.

Goettl's motto is doing things the right way. If this is the right way, I need the wrong way. TLDR - Lack of follow up after initial service call.

Goettl came out on May 19 to do AC checkup and provide estimate for how to get one room of house cooler.  Scheduling was fine, tech was on time, knowledgeable, and his analysis of my cooling issue and recommended fix for ductwork sounded accurate.  Said I needed coolant, but needed to do that on a hotter day. Tech said I would receive an estimate and a call to schedule coolant. Neither happened. I called Goettl on Jun 10. Phone rep said the system should have automatically sent the estimates via email.  Phone rep had the estimates and immediately sent them to me while we were on the phone. The ductwork estimate was not for what the tech and I discussed. Phone rep said perhaps the tech chose the wrong code when entering the estimate. I also received 4 upselling estimates for additional work, including one for UV system sanitizer, which the tech had never mentioned. Phone rep said I would get a call that day so the ductwork estimate could be revised. No one called and I received no revised estimates. I called back on 6/23 to find out if perhaps the estimate was revised, without a phone call to me, and again not automatically sent to me. New phone rep only found May 19 estimate.  I explained issue and said I was done with Goettl. Phone rep asked if a manager could call me.  I said yes, but that Goettl had already lost my business. Manager called and explained the tech should have sent the estimates immediately and that the tech did not include all the details that we discussed. Manager said he would address my issues with the tech. Manager didn't provide any explanation for the lack of follow up.

Lack of follow up every step of the way. What did they think between May 19 and Jun 10?  What did they think between Jun 10 and Jun 23?

The repair man was friendly and professional.  However,  after I paid over $500, which was going to be less before he decided to add an additional $70 for the service charge, water continues to leak from our AC unit.  The tech did a brief diagnosis of the AC and determined that the pump wasn't working properly and needed to be replaced.  Water continued to leak after the pump was replaced, which he then attribute the problem to refrigerant leaking.  From that point he stated that, there's nothing more he can do other than us having the AC unit replaced.   Friendly and professional? Yes.  But after paying $500 plus, one would expect the problem fixed or only be charged for the service call if the problem can't be resolved.  Very disappointed

I was gouged for 700.00 to fix a simple leak on PVC waterline, should have cost about 200-250 tops. My line broke in the recent freeze, Had to pay cause I am a disabled vet so I paid it. It leaked after he left and I have been calling ever since and still have no one here to fix the leak he left. They keep putting me off and promised to be out this morning finally, but have not shown up yet. It is March 3rd now and this all started on the last day of our big Texas freeze, very poor service

These people are horrible. We were supposed to get the call that they were coming at 1-3 but no one ever called. I called about 5 times and no one gave me a straight answer. Then at 8pm I call them again and they say some one is on their way. No one ever fixed my air conditioner so we went with someone else. They also said they were firing a lot of people so something isn't right with the company.  DO NOT GET GOETTL!

Their plumbers charge around $4000.0 for a water heater, their AC units are around $14,000.00 stay away their quality isn't worth it also if you call for a repair they will send a rookie who knows nothing and they will tell you you need a new unit this company is unethical, they are managed by money hungry managers who will try to get you in a desperate time, shop around especially if you a new to town

I made an appointment a week ago for their AC rejuvenation service and it was confirmed the same day. Today, on the day of my appointment, I get a call at the time of the appointment from them telling me that they double booked and if I would like to re-schedule for later in the week. I had already taken off work to be at home for this appointment and if I'm not at work I'm not making money. So essentially because they waited until the very time of the appointment to call me to tell me they screwed up the scheduling I lost 3 hours of pay for nothing. They could have called any day before, heck, they could have called in the morning to re-schedule and that would of been fine because I could have gone to work but no, they made me sit at home and wait for nothing. I will not be using their company for anything again, especially after seeing that I'm not the only one who has had terrible customer service from them.

was just told that there is only 1 plumber for the San Antonio area and that is why the appointment made 13 days ago yes that's right 13 days ago was not going to be completed today. Have spent Lil over $11k with them in last 6 months and was a preferred customer. My water heater is still under warranty but my wife and kids have been taking cold showers all these past days. Spent $125 to have electrician look at my power to the water heater and all checked out fine. So now I am at the mercy of waiting for them unless I want to get another provider pay out of pocket and then my warranty will be voided. This is what they told me. Worse worse customer experience ever. Totally sad , pathetic, and truly a poor poor reflection on Goettl

Called to schedule an appointment with Will's All Pro.  The person who answered informed me that the specific All Pro technician I asked for still works there so I scheduled an appointment.  However, I received a call on the morning of my appointment and was told that the technician I asked for no longer worked there.  The technician they sent showed up in a Goettl van.  That's when I learned that Goettl had bought out Will's All Pro.  Goettl should be upfront about not being Will's All Pro even though they utilize the same phone number as Will's.  Be aware that Goettl has very expensive rates.  I went with another company.

I have nothing complimentary to say about this company given my experience. The people are friendly enough,  but I take issue with its business practices.  After spending over $17K on complete HVAC replacements (and two water heaters) one year ago,  the Goetl repair pros have visited twice and have, on both occasions, attempted to upsell me on different repair solutions totaling over $7K on an install that is still under warranty.   A new stain in my ceiling right (below the new furnace) t appeared a few weeks ago.  Rather than considering that it was a defective installation, the tech told could install pumps to remove the water that's running off the unit because of SA's high humidity.  Strange,  that was never an issue with the old systems.   Finally, the tech told me that he spoke with his boss and  that I could get a deal on pumps if I acted today (only).  The conversation was over at that point.  The thing that really irritates  me is that I still have a water stain in my ceiling below where the furnace is located in the attic that I will have to repair on my own because of the shoddy work performed during the installation.  Good luck to you if you still choose to use this company.

Called to schedule an appt for someone to look at my backed up drain. Was given a same day appt from 5-7 pm. Received a confirmation text that my appt was for 7-9. When I called I was told that the scheduler did not realize they were booked and the earliest appt would be next Thursday.  If this is how they run their business I don't have a lot of confidence in their work ethic. I'll look elsewhere.

Worst of all, no curtesy call.  We bought their membership and are requesting a refund.  They sound polite in the phone and promise to take care of all the needs in your house.  Complete BS!! We rearranged our work schedules to make sure someone was here during the window of time they give you.  Fuming mad at Goettl.  Avoid these idiots at all costs!!

They came out to do a yearly clean on my ac unit and did an improper clean (they neglected to flush the drain line) which resulted in a clog and our indoor drain pan filled up and water overflowed and seeped into our laminate flooring in our master bedroom and caused water damage. I called this company on a Saturday night to have someone come out and no one answered. This is a 24/7 call center...I called John Wayne service company and they came out next day and cleaned up the overflowing water and cleared the clogged line. I payed about $148 to another AC company for a job Goettl was supposed to do for free. After this took place goettl sent a technician out to do a furnace tune up and take pictures of the damage. The technician was amazing! He stated manager Steve Bloomfield would call me next day to discuss the damage and what can be done... no one called... three days roll by still no call.... Usaa is now needing a written estimate for the damage so my claim can be processed and this manager has completely neglected to contact me even though everyone with this company has told him to do so. Yani with the customer service has been amazing and attentive in helping me. I was told Steve Bloomfield was going to call me immediately but he still never has. I will not be renewing my membership with this company and I would like to be contacted about an estimate for damage as well as being reimbursed for the $148 that I had to pay due to their improper clean.

Very irresponsible company.  I took a day off from work because I was supposed to have a sales appointment on 6/23, however, no one showed up.  The next day I received a call acknowledging that they have missed the appointment and wanted to get it right.  So they rescheduled for 6/24 between 5 PM and 7 PM, since I work during that time I took vacation time to go home for the appointment.  Once again nobody showed up, I called their number to find out what happened and was told that I would be getting a call from a manager that never happened.  Because of their irresponsibility, I wasted 12 hours of vacation time that I could have enjoyed doing something constructive rather than staying home for nothing.  This company does not value the customer's time.  If this is the way they are I am glad that didn't get in business with them, I would hate to wait for a service call from them.  I Will be going with someone else that is more responsible.  DO NOT GET GOETTL!

Took off work to be home for their scheduled time.  I had to call them an hour after they said they would be there.  Was told they would be by in a couple of hours.  They did finally show, but this was only the first day of a multi day job.  The next day they arrived a little late but the techs were courteous.  They finished the job, but said they couldn't backfill the giant hole until after an inspection.  I told them there is no inspection because I live outside the city.  Was told it was an internal QC inspection.  Fine.  Three days later, they still didn't fill the hole and no inspector came by.  Called and was told they thought there was a city inspection, but was wrong.  Come on, you were told there wasn't!  Finally, they hit my garage brick when backfilling.  Took them a few days to finally come and fix that.  Absolute worst customer service I have encountered.  Go with Roto-Rooter instead.

Because we had a previous experience with Will's All Pro (who merged? with Goettl), we called 2/17/2021 for emergency repair of a frozen pipe in our ceiling.  We were told they'd have someone call to schedule.  Never happened.  We ended up making a temporary repair ourselves while we waited for insurance to settle.  Called  3/5/2021 to schedule one of several estimates to determine who we would use for our LARGE repair ($$$).  Scheduled for 3/9 1-3pm.  No show by 3:30 so we called to check & were told tech was running behind.  Rescheduled for 3/10 11am-1pm.  Again, no tech by 1pm.  When we called to check, we were told the tech was running several hours behind.  While we realize that there was widespread damage in our area, NO OTHER company (big or small) is having this kind of difficulty with scheduling estimates.  My husband lost MANY hours at work waiting for their technicians.  They've lost any opportunity for our business, EVER.
