My name is Jacob Rojas, I own and operate Superior Irrigation and Lawn. We specialize in lawn sprinkler installation and repairs in which we have been servicing the San Antonio and surrounding areas for the last 9 years. Our priority is customer service, expert, and reliable service done right the first time.
My inspiration for starting and operating my company was largely in part due to the feeling of being able to take on a project from a vision and turning it into reality.

Called Superior out to check out wiring issues with my system. They quickly identified the problem and repaired then took me around to each station to check the heads. They even suggested another enhancement which I will pursue later. Fair pricing and smart techs. I doesn't get any better than that! Highly recommend!

I called to schedule someone to come out and check my sprinkler system, they booked me 3 wks out, but that was ok with me, the day they were to come I called the office to verify the time and the office person got the tech to call, he said he would be at my location between 10 and 10:30 that day, I re arranged my schedule to be there and he never showed, I called him, it went to voice mail, I asked him to call me back, he never did, never heard from the company with a explanation or an apology, I do not recommend this company at all.

We had sod for our entire yard installed. The sod was great quality and greened up right away. We also had a sprinkler system with WiFi controller installed. It works very well and we expect that to continue because of Superior's ten year warranty. The whole experience was great.
Jacob and his crew did an awesome job removing our old lawn, designing and installing a new sprinkler system, and relaying new sod. He was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. By the end of the project I was a happy and very satisfied customer!

I hit a home run when I called Superior. Nambi, diagnosed my problem, offered the solution and quickly replaced the two leaky valves. He showed my several things about my irrigation system ( we bought the home from a previous owner) and gave me some tips and tricks to get it to perform at optimal levels. Thanks guys, you've earned a permanent spot in my rolodex.

I got an appointment the same week. Two guys came out and replaced my sprinkler head; fixed the wires for the rain sensor; and got my box to work properly. I had written the wrong amount for payment, over charging myself, and they came back to tell me so I wrote another check for the correct amount. Not only did they do a great job, but their integrity was so heartfelt. This kind of service is so rare. Thank you so much!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needed irrigation services. Excellent work. Manny came out and replaced a couple of clogged sprinkler heads with ones that covered the area better. He checked out and adjusted all zones and made very good sprinkler head change recommendations which worked much better than those originally installed. All in all, very professional, helpful and easy to work with, I'll definitely call Superior Irrigation out again with my future sprinkler plans. Thanks

They were booked a week out, but were able to find and fix our leak quick. They made sure to check out everything before leaving and gave a military discount!
My lawn sprinkler system was partly installed by the previous owner, and partly installed by a contractor working for me after we moved in. The systems now range from 16 to 22 years old, and I did not have a good drawing of the whole system. I had a substantial number of heads that were not working, several that were leaking, and two entire zones I could not use because heads had fully broken or had been mowed.
Superior staff came out and identified (4) sprinklers to be repaired, (8) to be replaced, and some minor line repair to be done for a very reasonable price, and they completed this work efficiently and neatly. There was one small flaw, they missed one damaged head in a zone that I rarely use - I found this only when I ran the system due to the recent hot weather.
I called Superior and left a message about this leak. Lo and behold, their lead technician turned up two hours later, fixed the sprinkler right then, and charged me nothing for the trip, his time and labor, nor for the replacement sprinkler. As someone who has many years of experience with contractors of all sorts, I call that first-class service !!
I am recommending Superior to all of my friends, including those on the local water board I am part of ....
I don't know what's a good deal, but this is my experience. First, Superior charges 35 dollars to have them come an do an estimate (35 dollars waived if you use them). I compared this to other businesses who came out for free, but did not get back with me or estimated really high with no details, and others who charge 90 to125 dollars to do an estimate. The Superior technician arrived in the time told to me and assessed my sprinklers. The charge was 30 dollars for repair of each pop up sprinkler and 45 dollars for repair of each rotor sprinkler. I agreed and he had everything done in about 2 hours which was what he said it would take him to complete the job and he did not leave until I was okay with the job. If there was a better deal, I did not come across it in the 10 businesses I was in contact with.
Thank you Jacob & team for the superb work!!! I really appreciate your professionalism, work ethic, and especially the good price. What I appreciate the most is the 8 year warranty on your work, whereas other quotes were 3 years. I will definitely recommend this company.

Responded quickly with a onsite estimate. Fair price. Repaired two water leaks, replaced some rotors and nozzles and did a nice job. Had an issue with one rotor and they came back out the following day and fixed it. Already recommended Superior to our neighbors.

Jacob and his team not only gave us the best price compared to his competitors, he also had them best as far as ability to come out sooner! He under quoted the amount of grass needed to finish the job so he needed more grass, but he ate the cost and didn't charge us more.
It's that kind of thing that makes small business companies sooooo much better! Whole project took 3 days to take out the old grass, install sprinklers, and lay new beautiful green grass!
Jacob and his crew did a fantastic jobs with my landscaping and sprinkler installation. He was very professional and informative with the process from beginning to end. He was also very good with keeping communication open on the scheduling of my project. They were so helpful and worked quickly. They also offered a 5% discount for mil/vets which was better than no discount like quite a few companies do. They chained out broken heads, installed new timmer system and explained everything. Great deal, great service and I would recommend them to anyone I know. My system is working like a champ now and I can adjust time with my phone with the new wifi control panel.
Had a $900 SAWS bill and suspected there had to be a leak but could never find it
I call the office for an appointment and set one up for 2 days later the day of the appointment came and the guys showed up on time
They quickly found a bad valve in the backyard that I never would have been able to find and yet another leaking valve that was the real culprit. they repaired them quickly then went through the entire system and made sure everything was working.Now I'm good to go great job you guys

If you need some landscaping work done or sprinklers installed, Jacob is your guy. He was extremely down to earth, and he made helpful suggestions while trying to fix up the large areas of dirt around my property. Many other competitors were intimidated by the work, but Jacob said he could make it happen. Best of all, he had the sprinklers installed within a day of finalizing the project details. We ended up going with sod, two flower beds, and a sprinkler system install. He even threw in a free mow to help me get the rest of the property in order, despite the fact that he doesn't offer this service anymore. Throughout the entire project, Jacob communicated with me frequently and answered any questions that I had. His team was extremely efficient, and they finished the work in a timely manner. For any future landscaping work, Superior Irrigation & Lawn is the only company I am going to call.
They are very professional and efficient in their work. We had a punctured sprinkler line and they fixed it within 20 minutes. Affordable pricing and would recommend them to others that need help with the irrigation and/lawn.
Jacob and his team did a quick and very reasonably priced fix to our irrigation system. He explained what was wrong and they had everything to get it squared away immediately. We had a plumbing project that required a trench in the yard. The plumbers cut several wires and pipes for our irrigation system. Superior Irrigation came out the next day and repaired everything and did a great job! I highly recommend them!
Absolutely great service! I got a quote from Andy's initially and it was WAY too expensive. I reached out to Jacob and he immediately responded to my email. He came out the next day for a quote and his price was way better. More importantly, I recognized their tremendous service. The team came out a few days later to do the job, and it was done great! My sprinkler system was not working properly. I contacted Superior Irrigation & Lawn and received a quick response. They even came out the same day! Jacob and his team immediately identified the problem as well as other issues and kept me informed every step of the way. My system is now fully functional and I am a satisfied customer. Also, not only was the price fair and reasonable but this business lived up to its name and did a superb job! I will definitely call them again in the future if I have any issues.
We used Superior when we were fixing a sprinkler when selling our house and they were great. When we needed irrigation installed in a new house a few years later we looked to superior first. We did get competing bids and although some were lower the overall value and warranty provided was why we ultimately went with Superior. Although there was a little hiccup getting someone to give us an estimate that was quickly taken care of. The install only took a few hours but there a few issues with a little damage to our fence and greater than expected/normal damage to our sod. We talked to Jacob since he was there overseeing the team and he remedied the issue right away. A big factor with when choosing a vendor, besides price and the product, is how they respond to issues after they've been paid. Superiors customer service is great. I would use them again in the future.

This company stood me up for my appointment not once but TWICE and never called. The first time I called them after they were 45 minutes late and they told me they would call the guy that comes out for the estimates. 20 minutes go by and still no call back so i call again and they tell me they cant get ahold of him. If everyone was running late why not call me to tell me that? Then we rescheduled for 2 days later and I am assured they would be on time. After an hour of waiting and several attempts of getting in contact with them (and no answer) I left again. Got a call 3 HOURS later saying he was running behind again. Why not just pick up the darn phone and call so I'm not wasting my time? EXTREMELY unprofessional company. Do not recommend them at all.

I had an issue with my irrigation system. Wasn't sure what was going on. But once I contracted Superior Irrigation & Lawn they came right on time and got to the bottom of the problem and started doing their job. The crew that came in were highly knowledgeable of their work and politely friendly. They worked very hard on making sure they tackle the issues and made the proper repairs without trying to rip us of. The master irrigation technician Edgar was on point with his performance and knowledge on what needed to be done. Price was highly fair. I highly recommend them.
The guys from Superior, including Manny, showed up today to find and fix a leak in my irrigation system. They were fantastic! Very experienced, great job and I will definitely call them again if needed.

We hired Jacob and his team back in January. Jacob was extremely quick in getting the project started. We needed front and back sprinklers and some landscaping to help with our downward sloping lot. They worked with us closely to help us achieve our vision! I am giving them 4 stars because although they were very quick, they began the project without talking all the details out and we to spend to get extra material.

First off top of the line communication and service from Jacob and his team. From start to finish!! Made the project work within our budget. Now this is where the premier service starts. We added some fencing to our yard which is now blocking area from getting water. Called Jacob, came over same day in jeans and black long sleeve and moved the sprinkler because of a mistake we made. We had Superior come out for a quote about 2 months ago to do some repairs to our sprinkler system - we had several that were not working or were like geysers when we ran it. They gave us what we thought was a reasonable price so we scheduled an appointment a couple weeks later. They arrived on time and were able to fix everything and also let us know they have a 30 day warranty on all repairs. We ended up calling them back a couple times - once to fix a couple that had reverted back to a poor spray (they needed to be cleaned) and a couple new ones that we discovered buried in our yard that hadn't been part of the initial repairs. They were great and fixed everything, including the new ones we found without charge (not to mention on the second visit we were a few days outside the 30 day window - I appreciated them still honoring it as within the window!). I would absolutely use this company again for any future sprinkler repair needs.

Hands down the best irrigation service in town! Don't waste time calling SA Rainmaker they take too long to get to you, after they inspect your lawn it will take 8 days for someone to call and tell you what they found out and give you a price. THEN it takes... well I'm STILL waiting 2 weeks later for SA Rainmaker to call me back to set up a time to come out!!!
Superior Irrigation & Lawn I called them up and in 3 days they came out and fixed our sprayer heads and fixed our flower beds! I would recommend them to anyone, great service and prices still beat SA Rainmaker!

I reached out to Superior Irrigation and heard back very quickly. I scheduled an appointment with Jacob, walked the property, and was given a quote on the spot. I felt that the price was very reasonable for the scope of work I asked him to do. To my surprise, he had a crew available, and finished the job the same day! Now that's what I call service! We had a new Rainbird controller installed Wi-Fi enabled) some new sprinkler heads put in, repairs to old sprinkler heads, and some capped off. Based on their great Yelp rating, I called this company when a pipe burst and I had a major leak at my backflow preventer. They returned my call within 30 minutes, and managed to squeeze me in for a same-day visit. Jacob and his team came right when they said they would, and they jumped right in -- repairing the damaged pipe. Within 30 minutes, they had diagnosed the leak and repaired all the plumbing better than new. They even made several recommendations on low cost and no cost ways for me to avoid future problems. The whole team was very professional, and they cleaned up after themselves. $170 repair bill was more than I initially expected but it was a same day (?emergency) service call and they did a great job. Jacob and his team absolutely saved me from a huge headache, not to mention a whole lot of drama if this had not been fixed in such a timely fashion; don't even want to think of the water damage this would've caused. After researching and found that Superior Irrigation & Lawn would be the best option. Was I right! Mr. Jacob Rojas is Very professional, explains in detail what exactly you will get, shows you every area where each sprinkler head will go, very thorough. got an estimate On a Thursday got it installed that following Tuesday. Great price and awesome system. We just moved into a new home in the Schertz area and noticed that two sprinkler heads had been leaking. We tried fixing it in our own but could not figure out the problem. I called Superior irrigation and lawn yesterday afternoon and they called me back within 30 minutes to set up a time for them to come today and see what the problem was. Manny and Frank both worked on the sprinkler system and I have to say that they were fabulous! I was so pleased with the work and the customer service that they provided. I would definitely recommend to ANYONE to check this company out first before you go anywhere else!

Superior is a quality company! They provided me a quote and was able to begin our sprinkler system installation 2 days later. Everything works great and they cleaned up our yard as well as they could possibly after running trenches throughout it. Extremely happy with the professional service I received from this company. My request for an appointment was quickly accommodated. Manny and his colleague did a super job. I called just yesterday after my lawn guy broke a sprinkler with his edger, resulting in a gyser-like gusher in my back yard. Manny and his colleague showed up very next day and not only fixed the gusher, they made some very helpful suggestions and did a nice re-adjustment to my overall backyard sprinkler footprint and now the yard is getting water in those dry spots. Nicely done! I can heartily recommend these folks.
Wow, pretty impressive. I have a new go-to for landscaping repair & maintenance! We had an issue with our 10 year-old system, it kept shutting itself off (some electrical hiccup). I just moved into a new house with a sprinkler system and when I turned them on, I noticed two of the heads were broken. I looked at Yelp reviews and finally decided to give Superior a call to see if they could come out and do an inspection to see what I should do to get it in tip top shape. They were very accommodating and came out within two days. The inspection took less than an hour. They identified the broken heads and a leaking pipe. They fixed everything in a timely manner and pricing was very fair. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

This company is so unprofessional - do yourself a favor and use home advisor to find a reliable and professional company. The workers arrived at our house and immediately spat on our driveway twice. When I didn't want to use their services still charged me $35 for nothing. This company should be looked at by Yelp as those reviews must be fake to build up their profile! I contacted another company and they didn't charge for a quote. And did not spit. I'm not a racist but a believer in respect. I paid $35 for nothing. Update: I used another company from home advisor. They came on time, were polite, and did not spit on my driveway. They were paid for their work what they charged us. No problems- I gave them 5 /5. They were from a non white background so there is no racism on my part. Just will not accept that this company is even licensed and they were rude on my property ! That's about their unprofessional behavior not mine.

I'm so pleased with this company's services. This is the second time we have had Jacob Rojas and his crew do work for us. Last time, they repaired the extensive drip system in our house. This time, they added a zone under a new area of sod. The whole crew was efficient, precise, and courteous. Their prices were also quite reasonable. I appreciated how Jacob communicated and worked with my landscaper to time the installation of the sprinklers and place them correctly. On top of everything, after all the work they did, they rechecked parts of the drip system and made some repairs, at no charge. I will definitely use them again.

I was looking at getting sprinkler installed and I was called right away to schedule a quote. Jacob was very knowledgeable. He emailed me prices and my options. I hired him right away. Jacob called me and scheduled the service for later that week since they had a day available.They showed up on time as expected, did everything as promised. Jacob and his team were both very professional and were willing to go above and beyond what I needed. Installed new irrigation very quickly and very happy with their work.The work was outstanding and the service more than what I expected all at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this company for all your water needs. I couldn't have gotten better service.
There really was No experience due to the fact they contacted me through the yelp app after I requested a quote on some irrigation work. I sent them my contact information and never Hurd anything ever again. They stink.
My yard looked totally dead and I'd been told by different people, that it was different things, but when I found out my sprinkler system wasn't working, a friend referred Superior Irrigation to me. I called and made an appointment for the next day and they came out right on time! They tested the system and evaluated my problem, gave me extremely good pricing and I set them to work immediately!! They were quick, did excellent work and were very nice guys! The repairs they made to the system made my overall pressure and coverage better than it was before. They were also courteous and honest with me and then thanked me for my business! I recommend Superior Irrigation greatly and wouldn't hesitate recommending them to all of my family and friends!!
They installed some drip lines for me last year and did a great job. I ran over a sprinkler head with my mower this week and they came out the next day to fix it for a very reasonable service cost. Recommended!

I called Superior based on other reviews I've read and am so glad I did. One of my sprinkler heads was broken. Got a quick appointment, the gentlemen that came out were on time (a little early even) and very knowledgeable. A quick repair that took less than 10 minutes for a very reasonable cost. Will definitely use again!

Earlier in the year, Mr. Rojas and his guys came out to repair/install sprinklers in my front yard. They did an excellent and very neat job, checking each sprinkler head before leaving and helping me set my timer. They cleaned up so well I couldn't even tell they had been here.
Today, Mr. Rojas returned to install sprinklers in my back yard, and set me up with a new operating system. Again, they did a superior job, just like their name says. Mr. Rojas helped me set the timer for the whole system. No more dragging the hose and my one sprinkler around the back yard, trying to stay ahead of the scorching sun!
I appreciate Superior for their outstanding customer service--did I mention that the office staff also rocks it?--great communication, and reliability. When I speak with any of them, I feel like I'm dealing with professionals who know what they're doing and keep their word with clients.
I heartily recommend Superior Irrigation and Lawn for your irrigation needs.

Israel and his team just finished fixing our sprinkler system and we highly recommend them to anyone. Our issues were numerous from cracked pipes to deficient sprinkler heads and other stuff in between. I constantly oversee any workers that come into my house and end up asking them a lot of questions. This was no exception and they were professional and friendly the entire time. As far as price, I really don't have much to compare it to, but it did seem reasonable. They were honest about their quote and kept pretty close to it. I am very happy about their service and would use their services again if needed.

Jacob, Christina and the whole team provide professional and personal service. They are timely and give a 30 minute heads-up to their arrival. I have used them for the past 4 years with great success and will definitely use them in the future.
