My second story water heater was leaking into my home. I called Acosta, and kind Sonny arrived within 30 minutes. He climbed into my horribly hot attic, and told me it needed to be replaced. I'm in a tough spot financially, so as soon as I could raise the money I called Acosta, and Sonny was in my home the very next day! There was so much sediment in it, that it was way to heavy to bring it down the foldable wooden attic stairs! He had two other, Acosta gentlemen helping him to solve the problem. They spent hours taking care of me! Sonny and his team were absolutely amazing. They were able to get my awful 400lb, sediment filled water heater down the stairs. These gentlemen worked SO very hard!!! They have my business for life!!! I've been passing Acosta plumbing information to all of my neighbors, as our homes are all the same age, and will need the same help very soon. Thank you Sonny!!! Thank you Acosta Plumbing!

John was super quick to respond following a late emergency request. He was able to jump on the phone immediately and provided a very reasonable estimate. He arrived shortly after the call, was quick to address the issue and provided overall great service. He was explained the issue and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend!!

I had a garbage disposal that stopped working and was clogging up the sink and the dishwasher. Not an emergency, but an annoyance. I called one of the other plumbing companies that got a good review here and they wanted more money than the disposal and the installation and all the plumbing work I have had done in my place. So I asked them to leave.

Called Gary over at Plumbco and he and Andy came out within the hour. They checked it out, gave me a very reasonable quote, went right to work, got it working again (saved me the cost of a replacement), checked it a few times to make sure it was working, and then checked the dishwasher to make sure there were no visible problems. Gary then told me what to do if there was still a problem with the dishwasher that he might have missed. He also told me that I had made a nice purchase on the original disposal and that it was a good one that should last for many years.

Overall, I am very, very pleased with Plumbco , Gary, and Andy. They seem like really nice guys, very professional, made sure that they kept my place clean, told me the price and then did the work for that price, and that price was quite reasonable. I would highly recommend Plumbco and will call them again if I need any plumbing work done. I know that one of my sisters needs some work done, so I got a business card just for her. Right choice was very available to answer all my questions regarding a water heater project I needed done. They educated me on the difference between on demand electric vs a smart tank water heater and helped me choose the best for my home. They built a platform for me to get my new water heater back to code and at the right height and also helped me to fix some piping issues that arose during installation. I contacted Kim this morning about a plugged main drain. He quoted me a price on the phone and arranged a time with me and showed up on time (early even). He used a camera that showed me the problem, and used high pressured water to unplug the main. He was able to accomplish what several other plumbers couldn't do and for a very reasonable price. He took the time to make recommendations and explain everything! He was professional, courteous and efficient. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Thank you, Kim!

Texas Plumbing on Woodwind did a great job fixing my freeze busted pipes. I texted them Wednesday and they were out today while other plumbers had quoted me A MONTH wait (wait times are very long right now in February 2021 because of an awful storm that got as low as 10 degrees, lasted several days, and froze all the pipes). They spent about 4 hours fixing 3 leaks in the attic, bill was about $1200.

My family can finally shower again!

Our house flooded on Thanksgiving Day from a pipe leak that started in the bathroom. In a panic, the situation was made worse when my husband overturned the shut off valve and broke it. Way to go, Babe! Sigh. It was devastating! Being the daughter of a plumber, I've never needed a house call... but with my Dad living out of state, we had to find a good plumber quick!

I received the referral after reaching out to my neighbors on the Next Door App. Alex answered the call and was able to take our appointment quickly. He educated us on the products used and the steps he took to repair the issue (just in case Dad wanted to know). He fixed us up and took on a few extra projects we presented while in our home. He was professional & polite. He stayed until he could confirm everything was fixed, and even used shoe covers every time he entered our home, despite our first floor being torn down to the cement because of the flood.

I bought an old house so establishing a good relationship with a reliable plumber was important. I have used Texas Plumbing three times (kitchen, bathroom then outside pipes) within a year. The owner has responded quickly when needed and has come out himself on a early Saturday morning. We have been satisfied overall with the work and prices. Needed these folks to snake a couple of drains that were slow-draining. They responded quickly with a quote, showed up on time for the appointment, were courteous and neat, and did the work quickly. Would definitely hire again.

Our hot water heater failed on Christmas day and called them the next morning. Jeff came out that morning and quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty gas control valve. Due to the holiday the part was not available until the next day but Jeff picked it up installed it and we had hot water that morning. I was very impressed with  JD Plbg. from start to finish and Jeff was very friendly, courteous and explained everything clearly. They will be our go to plumbing from now on.

I had several minor plumbing problems in my house. I did have a leak that needed  attention immediately.  I was given a quote in advance and could have said no.  So far, the work appears to be quality work. The problem is the work done I paid 404.00. I needed the leak stopped NOW, so I authorized the work and paid the bill.  This was extremely high for 2 hours work.  That's 200.00 dollars an hour.  I will definately shop the competition for my next plumbing repair.

I had a slow draining sink for months before it finally completely clogged. I reached out to several plumbing companies and TQP were the first ones to get back with me and had the lowest estimate. They came and fixed the problem right away! Jake was great and so nice- he made sure to ask if he could check anything else while he was here. My family owns several houses and we are never able to find a good company to work with when issues arise, so I'm really glad I found them!

Get a second quote.  Offered to replace air conditioning system for $18K or a better system for $25K.  Had someone else replace for $8200.  What do I know about HVAC.
