We had been having a confusing, intermittent blockage issue with only the master shower, master toilet and guest toilet. Finally called Drain Control. He arrived exactly when we had scheduled. He listened to us describe our issue and recommended doing a camera survey. He found the drain 80% blocked by a tree root and
recommended hydro jetting. In a matter of minutes our drain was clear! And at less cost than the major plumbing companies! Honest work at an honest price. I highly recommend Drain Control!

I had a main water line leak in the front lawn near the water meter. They were quick to respond and setup an appointment to come out and find where the leak was at. Had one of our drain lines that the kitchen sink, half bath and utility room run on, that got clogged yesterday. I had used a traditional plumber the last time it happened and wanted to get a specialist this time. I looked up Drain Control and called Kim.

He came over a few hours after my call, in the pouring rain, and worked diligently on the drain to get it unclogged and running again. I would highly recommend Drain Control. Kim is a very professional, no nonsense guy who will get the job done without all of the hoopla that other companies perform when they arrive. Kim is very personable and very efficient.

I had a leak in my bathtub, and another plumber told me a new trim kit needed to be installed and gave me a very high estimate. However, when I later talked to Kim at Drain Control, he told me it was not necessary to install the new trim kit. He arrived on time the next day to repair only what needed to be fixed, the down spout, for a much less cost. Obviously, Kim is honest and skillful at what he does. Highly recommended!

Quoted us $59.95 charge to come out and assess the problem and then we could decide on whether we wanted to proceed with the repairs. We were charged $698.00 for repair plus another $295.95 to locate the problem. Replaced a pinwheel sized leak on a rubber hose behind a wall.

We feel there was no need for the $298.95 charge and that it should have been $59.95. Also the $698.95 was excessive.

We had a small water main leak in our front yard that got progressively worse until it needed some attention that I could not provide. I called Drain Control at about 2:00 PM (mainly because of all the excellent reviews) and Kim Vo answered the phone call and said he could drop by at about 4:30 PM. He arrived as he said he would and gave me an estimate of what the repairs would cost and what problems he may encounter in trying to fix the leak if the pipe into the house was galvanized steel. He found the leak source within 5 minutes. A fairly good sleuth I would say. He dug up the piping and we both confirmed the leak about 15 minutes later. It was a cracked PVC connection to the house copper piping due to settling of the soil over the last 30 years. His solution was a very good and logical one with a flexible stainless steel section so further settlement would never cause another leak. He was done by 6:30 PM and I gladly paid the quoted amount which I felt was very reasonable. I will call him again anytime. My neighbor was also impressed with how clean he left everything, so I gave them Kim's contact information. Kim Vo is that rare contractor that does what he says he will do and explains his reasoning as he goes, if you wish to observe and learn. I usually don't spend the time to write reviews, but Kim's Drain Control local business deserves it for prompt and excellent work done. He is now my go-to guy for plumbing.

5 star all-star experience! Kim is responsive, straight to the point no BS, polite, professional, easy to communicate, efficient, and reasonably priced. Believe me all these words are very appropriate description. Unlike my previous experiences with other plumbers, he didn't ask for more money here and there just because the situation wasn't exactly as planned (name one plumbing repair and was exactly as described by the homeowner??). Kim was here right on time. Very punctual.

It took him appx. 45 mins. to get everything done. Give him the benefit of the doubt that he already been here 2 years ago so he knows what the drill is.

I was particular impressed with his equipment. He said he can handle restaurant clogged drain because of those high power equipment he has. He didn't use a snake but that high power thingy which unclog and shoot high pressure water at the same time.

Out of all the bid, his was the lowest and though it's just unclogging the drain, and I don't know how well he handle heavy duty serious stuff but he sure did a good job for me.

The valves under my kitchen sink was leaking and I called several places for quotes and availability. I got Kim on the phone and he gave a rough estimate. When he came over and checked everything, it was a loose connection so he tightened it and charged a very small fee. I really appreciate his honesty. He also advice me on getting to know where to turn off the water from the HOA in case a bigger problem occurred and the plumber can't turn off the water to fix it. Our underground patio drain was completely clogged due to massive accumulation of roots inside the drain from a nearby tree. Some of the places I called quoted exorbitantly high to hydrojet and clear the drain. Luckily I found Drain Control on Yelp! I forgot how I'm not supposed to put potato skins down the disposal and yep, put potato skins down the disposal. After my SO tried to fix the clog for several hours, we knew it was time to call in a pro. Enter Kim, he responded to my early morning query very quickly and arrived just a few hours later, exactly at the time he said he would arrive. Our vintage mid-century modern kitchen sink cleanout had rusted shut but Kim and crew quickly drilled out the cap, snaked the clog and capped the pipe with a nice compression cap for easy access the next time I forget not to put potato skins down the disposal.

Best plumbing experience in a lifetime. Less than 20 mts to receive a reply and in 2 hours Kim started yard drainage job that turned out to be more complex than I expected. 9 ft of roots bound up 3 inch drainage pipe. Fortunately Kim, the high tech plumber, had all the equipment (hydro jet, drain snake/cutter, rigid drain camera, etc) on his van and even with trenching and replacing some of the pipe, entire backyard drainage lines were flushed and everything put back in place, including clean-up so it did not appear any work was done. Best yard drainage in 15+ years, what a relief. Highly recommend.

this a private business guy who used to work for a company then ventured on his own.

our kitchen sink was clogging up and we did everything im our filipino plumbing power to get the drains working again. we snaked inside, snaked outside, snaked from the roof pipe ...everything ...and still sink backing up (well actually my unc did most the work ..cause i was at work myself-but he kept updating me). i even took the Ptrap apart and replaced parts, etc ...nothing?!
so i looked on yelp. oddly, nobody could come thru on short notice. mind u i was calling from work in san francisco. anyways, i call this guy and he says he can come out to my house. i called my family and told em i had a plumber coming over.

long story short ...the pipe needed to be hydro flushed. (thats when the plumber uses a special machine that blows high pressure water through the pipe blockage because whatever is in there is hard as a rock...in our case, all that built up lumpia grease and old rice and who know what else) and i kmow what ur thinkinkg and im gonna say... u dont know what the problem is at the time and after u tried everything, usually the plumber has the proper machine anyway because YOU DO NOT OWN IT, so bite the bullet, call this guy and pay the 300 bucks to move forward so your mom can use the sink again

A rainwater drain that carried water from a downspout to the street had been clogged for years. I finally decided to see if someone could clean it out and stop the flooding near my house.
I called Kim and scheduled his time. He was early for his appointment and I appreciated that. His communication skills were perfect and he understood the problem immediately and went to work. He flushed the street drain and then went to the top of my downspout pipe and flushed out all of the debris from that end. The pipes were full of leaves and mud and even a living frog who managed to escape unhurt. After the job was complete, he cleaned the gutter, the street and the side of the house that had dirt splashed on it from the unclogging. Very conscientious!
Kim was easy to work with and a very interesting young man to converse with. His honesty was refreshing and his pricing fair. I love dealing with family owned businesses because they are fully invested in getting the job done right the first time.

I don't usually write review but Kim really does deserve a 10 star if Yelp allows it. I ordered him to do a sewer lateral video inspections for a house that I am going to buy. Thanks to him, we discovered that underneath a beautifully remodeled house was a shit show quite literally. The main sewer is clogged and desperately needs a totally replacement.

He is an honest man and didn't charge us more for the extra work. In the end, he provided us a HD quality video along with a written report. 10/10 would definitely recommend him to all my friends and family.

I called Drain Control because my water meter is still spinning even after the main valve is shut off so I know that there's leak in my pipes. Kim squeezed me in for same day free inspection and showed up on time. He dug around a bit near my main, irrigation valve and around my meter to confirm there's no obvious leaks then he concluded that my leaks are probably between my meter and my main. Because of my landscape structure (with lots of concrete), he suggested that I contact trenchless companies for the job. He even wrote down a couple of companies that he knows are reliable and affordable. Other companies would try to push me to have the job done right away but Kim actually said that since the leak is very minimum, I should take my time to ask around for best quote before deciding. I appreciate his work ethic and would contact him again if I have any other plumbing issue.

I am not your average consumer. Growing up, my mother owned a 4-Plex. Then as an adult, I've been a Commercial Property Manager for fifteen years. Meaning: I've seen a lot of plumbers

The bad (sort of): Initially had a little communication problem and trouble with confirmation of arrival time. It could have been due to technology issues, or maybe on first contact, I caught him between jobs. Whatever it was, we got it resolved and he was on the job within three hours.

The GOOD: Professional, Clean, Organized, Knowledgeable, Diligent, Quick, Reasonably Priced ....AND a WARRANTY TOO!

Kim arrived with organized, high quality tools, identified the problem, dealt with a couple access curve balls then Hydro-Jetted my residental laundry and kitchen lateral and 80% of my main line. All for 20% below the going rate (cost) for a Hydro-Jet service.

After the city did some sort of cleaning of the main sewer line we had a back up. We called the city and they came out but said it wasn't them... sigh... it was a Friday night right before Christmas and all I could think was shelling out a bunch of money for snaking/flushing and possibly repairs at the holidays with company coming in just a week . Kim made quick work of a reasonably difficult repair. There was a small water leak from a joint just before the shut-off for the house. And the configuration of the pipe in the area contained an elbow, so positioning replacement fittings seemed impossible. Further, it turns out the meter shut-off was a poor seal, so water kept trickling out of the cut pipe, which could make a proper sweat joint impossible!

However, his experience and the right tool the job (he had these in-line crimp connectors) he was able to replace the leaky section, and with a new valve, in no time. For the wrong person, this job could have been a disaster leaving the home without water for days while waiting for the city to replace meter valve. Money well spent. And he's a pleasant and interesting person as well...

Very happy with response and service from Kim at Drain Control. He responded quickly with the best price for a camera inspection of my lateral line and came the same day. He showed me the the screen and described the issues along the way. At one point the obstruction prevented the camera from going further so we discussed using the auger and he told me what the additional cost would be before he did it. The auger opened up the line enough for the camera to show the root problem along the line and to show a major obstruction near the sidewalk. Kim described the water jet process and gave me a price that would include everything. I felt the price was fair and he wasn't piling on one service after another to jack up the price. He combined the services and gave me a two year guarantee.

After the water jet process, the camera showed a completely clean drain line all the way into the middle of the street where it connects to the city sewer line. All the roots and the major obstruction near the sidewalk were completely gone. A great tool and great service!

The final price I paid was only slightly more than most companies quoted me just to run the camera down the line.

Roots had blocked my French Drain and water was backing up under the house. In the past I used various rooter companies with mixed results. Their metal snakes are not long enough to clear out my entire system from front to back. These companies offered to use a hydro-jetter which is much longer and more effective. But the prices they charge were prohibitive.
Drain Control came out within an hour of my call. They hydro-jetted my entire French Drain line for a very reasonable price. They cleared the line and a massive amount of water that had been trapped, came gushing out.

Kim is very honest. I originally thought my main pipe was cast iron so I want to replace with copper. But he told me that it's already copper so there is no need to replace it. If you want an honest estimate, go with him. I'm planning to either replace mine with a bigger pipe or replace the leak part like he suggested.

I had a clogged sink in kitchen. Requested quote from Drain Control and a few other plumbing services (mentioning I needed snake from the roof since that was I always did and the only thing worked in the past). Kim was the only one who replied with exact cost and solution. All other services just push me to schedule with them without giving any useful information.

In a few hours Kim was already standing at my front door. It took him 30 minutes to hydro jet + power snake from the roof to get the work done. It turned out there was a lot of grease in the pipeline (we never let food garbage in the drain). I believe the hydro jet really helped with the grease.

Another nice thing from Kim is that you get 1 year warranty which I never got from other services.

I would definitely use Drain Control next time and highly recommend Kim and his service!

Kim V. answered my request for quote and we scheduled a time to come out. He is responsive and replies quickly. Next morning, he arrived on time and began assessing the clogged tub and washing machine drain lines we were having a problem with. He wanted to see the problems before quoting me a cost. I respect that. No price over the phone and then an up-sell when he comes out.
He said I may have a bigger problem but he'd try to snake the tub for $150. It turns out the snaking didn't work and that it would require pipe replacement which is a much bigger project. He was honest and suggested I try a couple other drain cleaning companies to see if I could avoid the bigger replacement project.
In the end, he wouldn't take any payment since he wasn't able to snake it successfully.

Kim came out very quickly. from the time i called he was out within 30 minutes. we had roto rooter out and they spend 15 min here and said they need to cut a pipe under the house to clear the blockage in our shower drain. they charged us and left. we didnt want them cutting a pipe and didnt trust their tech. Kim came out and had pulled a golf ball sized ball of hair out the drain and charged us less than he had quoted. awesome service. from time of call to time he left our house was maybe 1.5 hours. definitely have Kim's number saved and will be using him again

I had a clogged kitchen sink last week and I called Kim after a few other places couldn't come out for a few hours. Kim said he could come by within the hour - and he was there in 30 minutes. Not only did he get the sink unclogged but he let me know that I had a problem with my garbage disposal. He ran over to Hone Depot, picked up a new one and had everything done within an hour. His service was impeccable and and his rates were incredibly reasonable - especially because it was a weekend.

Fast forward one week and I am at my mom's house in Los Altos and we were running the dishwasher. As soon as it started to drain, the air vent started spewing water and there was a huge leak under the sink. I sent a text over to Kim and he said he'd be here within an hour. Again, he was incredibly prompt. He cleared up a clog in the drain line, made sure everything was working properly and left without charging us! My kitchen sink backup Saturday (Day before Father's day 2020), had a difficult time to find someone the fix it. So happy to find Kim on Monday. He was punctuated, very professional, and honest. He told me the price after a brief inspection. He explained why hydro-jet is much more better than the traditional way of unclogging the line in my situation. I am very happy with his work. After that, I also asked him to check on the main line. It had tree root in a couple of joints and create headache every few year or so. Sure enough, roots are growing like crazy in those 2 joints. He cleaned the roots and showed me on the camera starting from the street main line to the clean out. I am super happy with his work. Price is very reasonable. He is going to be my guy for life. Kim and team did a great job unclogging my plumbing issue.
I made a request early in the morning and he replied back within 15min. and was at my house within 1.5hrs.
They did a thorough job validating where the clog was and fixed it, this clog was about 50ft from the toilet. You needed a professional to get to it. He also advised me on how to avoid clogs as well. Only toilet paper, no wipes or female hygiene down the toilet.

I had a clogged main sewer line last week so I called another company with very good reviews on Yelp. When the gentleman came out, he noticed that since I have an older home, I most likely did not have a sewer clean out pipe and suggested the best option is to use the vent on top of my roof. The problem with that was I have a metal tile roof and because of safety rules, he was not allowed to climb up to my roof. He spent about 2 hours, first trying to snake through the laundry pipe in my garage and then the pipe from my main toilet. Both didn't work. Since he spent 2 hours working on my issue, his company and I negotiated on paying about one third of the original quoted price. Since it was late in the afternoon, I started to panic and wanted to find someone before it got dark. After reading the excellent reviews on Yelp, I decided to give Drain Control a call. Kim is the owner and does most of the work himself. He said he was just finishing a job and was pretty close by. He arrived about 40 minutes later.

He suggested hydro jet cleaning claiming it works ten times better than snaking. All his tools and equipment are in his van. He pretty much guaranteed that hydro jetting would work and promised he wouldn't charge me anything if it doesn't. That was reassuring, since I just paid the person before him. After hopping onto my roof and sticking his hydro jet hose into the vent all it took was about 30 minutes to get the job done. He told me he used to work for big plumbing companies in the past and knows pretty much everything about plumbing issues. He is very knowledgeable, reasonable, efficient, and professional. He even installed a new garden valve for me free of charge. I would definitely recommend Drain Control to all my friends and family. If you're thinking about calling big plumbing companies with their names plastered on over their big trucks, be prepare to pay 2 or 3 times more.

Had issues with the cold and hot water line mixing in my bathroom and needed a fix fast. I only had time to meet with a plumber after work (around 5:00PM) and Kim was the only one that could make it at such an inconvenient time and on short notice! Excellent and prompt service from Kim Vo. He came in about an hour from my phone call to give me an estimate, and after I agreed to his reasonable price, he immediately started work to clear a blocked French drain in our patio. I had a blocked sewer which also had roots growing and so I called a couple of companies who looked at it and recommended that I replace the entire sewage pipe costing $10K+ since the roots were blocking. They also had a hydrojet option which seemed expensive but more than that, it seemed like they wanted to do it to get me to the bigger pipe replacement in a year . I called Kim after reading the yelp reviews and doing some research online. And Kim did not disappoint! He came on time, used hydrojet as well to clean it out and after cleaning recommended effective ways to keep the sewage pipe clean so that I could go on for a few years. Kim was cheaper than others because he runs his own business. But even if Kim was the same cost, just his professionalism, what he did and his desire to keep the pipe unblocked for years means I would still call Kim! Totally recommend Kim to everyone

I contacted Drain Control through The Request a Quote feature on Yelp. Kim responded within 20 minutes which was super fast compared to most companies that won't return my messages. Kim came out the next day and took a look at my sewer main in which a section of it had become corroded. He assessed the job and offered a reasonable price to fix and replace cast iron with ABS. Kim fixed it quickly but did it extremely well with clean joints and even added a clean out cap which we didn't have before. Upon finishing the job he noticed the kitchen drain that ran into that new ABS sewer line sounded clogged. He recognized this by tapping the pipe and noticing it wasn't sounding hollow. He pulled off the end cap and the whole pipe was covered in 2 of sludge. He said because there was no grade on the drain, it accumulated waste. He offered a really reasonable price to fix it and came out the next day. Results were amazing and it felt so good to have ABS everywhere and no chance of clogs. Additionally we got a camera inspection of our sewer line to the street. His camera was very hi def and we could see a lot of detail. At a certain section there was a huge tree root blockage he pointed out to me. We agreed to use his hydro jet which he charged a reasonable price for to clean it and the whole line out. After that work he showed me the cleaned out sewer line with his camera and the roots were completely gone in addition to some other sections that had small growth. He mentioned this should keep blockages away for a long time. Overall I loved Kim's work ethic and honesty as well as how quick and detailed he was. I never felt nervous that he couldn't handle any of the work. If you need anything plumbing related fixed in your house, contact drain control.

Called for a blockage problem at 6pm. Arrived by 7:00 and diagnosed the problem. Well equipped truck with latest and greatest machine/tools. In this case, Kim used a water power hose hooked to the truck to blast out the blockage. Used his high tech camera to diagnose. Cleaned any mess that was left. Kim is amazing! He's professional and knowledgeable. He helps to clean all the roots in my sewer. I think I need to worry about the clogged drain for years. Also, he recommends me some product that can prevent the tree roots from growing, after he finished his job. I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs sewer service.

I was referred to Kim Vo from Drain Control by another plumber who couldn't fix my drain clog on the backyard. Kim arrived on time as agreed and quoted me a price after inspecting the clog. At the end, he found out my drain piper was not fixable due to the tree root damage. He didn't charge me anything even though he spent an hour trying to unclog. He is very knowledgeable, professional and honest. I will definitely reach out to him again next time.

I have managed more than a dozen of rental properties and plumbing issue often becomes as one of major services among all. Never tried Drain Control before till today. Since we have had a preferred vendor to work with in the past, unfortunately, my vendor got a flat tire this afternoon on the way to our place. I had to call another plumbing company since I wanted to get it done today. This is how Drain Control came to my eyes when I yelped. Though they don't have a lot of reviews but people gave them all POSITIVE reviews. After I reviewed most, I decided to try them and it turns out GREAT. Not just they accommodated our requested schedule (today), the staff, Trieu (Owner Kim's brother), came and explained to me in details how he was going to do and what we may need to expect in case to snake is not good enough, including the possible budget range and benefits of hydro-jet can do for us. After Trieu opened the outside vent and snaked it, he immediately identified that we don't need to spend extra money for hydro-jet. I like them being honest and consider necessities from customer's point of view too. I will treat them as one of our preferred plumbing vendors from now on. THANK YOU, Trieu.

Kim of Drain control has done a very fine job fixing my tub drain that corroded away after a few years. I tried to do it myself but his experience and the special tools enabled him to to the job quickly. I have an old home and he saved me with a previous problem in my kitchen. I find him very dependable and a very experienced plumber to tackle any plumbing issues. I definitely recommend Kim and Drain Control to take on any of your plumbing issues! Thanks again Kim!

We had a water pressure regulator failure and the pipes were making clanging noise when faucets where closed each time. I requested quote on yelp. Kim replied in 15 min. Was at home in a few hours and fixed it and explained before/after. He had brand new part with him as well. Would recommend Drain Control strongly.

Our French Drain got backed up badly with soil and roots. Kim and a guy showed up next day I called, worked in careful manner to fix thoroughly in reasonable time. Kim also gave me some tips to prevent such issues happening again. Great work. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend using Drain Control! Kim responded quickly to my inquiry and came out on time as promised. Upon arrival, he quickly assessed the situation and discussed his recommended solution. He was very knowledgeable and worked quickly. He went above and beyond the normal expectations by working under the house to access the specific clean out caps to finally remove the blockage. Kim explained what he was doing and was very pleasant to work with throughout the whole process. I definitely plan to contact Drain Control for my future plumbing needs!!! Great job, Kim!

I called Kim last Wednesday for my work, we had a drain that was plugged. He was out at the shop within 30 minutes and listed two options which I agreed to and he got down to work. Within 40 minutes he had the drain snaked out and water flowing. He explained the problem and that it would need a contractor to do some re-plumbing which made complete sense. Great work, great job and great people! Highly recommended.

Try Kim, even if you already quota another plumber, at least compare the price and solutions. He just start his home business last year and very careful to all customers. He tells me that the price of another plumber is reasonable and explains the tradeoff between all solutions. I would recommend him to my friends.

I would highly recommend Kim Vo/Drain Control. Kim arrived in a timely fashion with Johnny and completed the job efficiently and well. I was impressed that they tried to do whatever they could to fix my drippy shower faucet and sink faucet in the most cost-effective method which I appreciated very much. The final price was the same as estimated which was very reasonable. Kim and Johnny were honest, professional, and pleasant to work with. I will surely call Kim (and Johnny) again for future plumbing needs.

I had a bad main sewer drain clog. Kim arrived earlier than scheduled, and did a perfect job to fix the problem. This guy is very efficient and professional. Kim was an absolute dream to work with. We called him several times with questions and each time he was happy to answer. We asked he come and look into our clog and he was here within 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. Kim was very thorough and went as far as offering us some good advice as to good forward maintenance. He had the issue resolved very quickly. We couldn't be more pleased with his service. Mr. Kim Vo of Drain Control was responsive, prompt, respectful, and he did a good job diagnosing and solving my plumbing problem, which was a bathtub top-drain leak. Some other vendors wanted to charge me $120-$150 to come out and diagnose the problem, but Mr. Vo did not do that. In fact, he spent a considerable amount of time and effort to first diagnose the source of the problem. Only then did he give me a quote. This is a very honorable way to do business. I highly recommend him.

I contacted Kim this morning about a plugged main drain. He quoted me a price on the phone and arranged a time with me and showed up on time (early even). He used a camera that showed me the problem, and used high pressured water to unplug the main. He was able to accomplish what several other plumbers couldn't do and for a very reasonable price. He took the time to make recommendations and explain everything! He was professional, courteous and efficient. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Thank you, Kim!

This is a correction for my Yelp review yesterday. Kim Vo from Drain Control called me up right away after I posted a one-star review, and set up an appointment for following day, today, @ 10:30 and he was right on time. He reviewed by leaking situation, and advisee me to consult a Leak Detector since he could not locate the leaking which maybe inside the exterior stucco wall due to my re-plumbing in my house. We are good to go on this Drain Control, and happy to know him for our next plumbing and drain issue. Thanks Kim!

We HAD AN EMERGENCY at a apartment house. Sewer backing up into the units. We called and they came same day [on time} and did more than we expected and quoted us less than they charged. But it was still very reasonable. We appreciate the extra work...Thank you. Kin is now our go to guy for problems at the apartments.

Looking for an honest, hard-working, dependable, and trustworthy plumber? Look no further. Having received multiple estimates from others for an ~80 year (?) cast-iron main line sewer clog, Kim saved me thousands of dollars by showing me the fundamental problem wouldn't be fixed by the other's proposed solutions. We were very pleased with Drain Control. Our hall bathroom toilet was clogged. The owner, Kim, came out right at the specified time the same day we called. He immediately tested all the drains, identified the problem, and quickly fixed the toilet drain clog for a reasonable fee. I would be happy to hire Drain Control again for any future issues. It is good to meet someone competent and honest who knows all about drains!

There was a leak underneath our kitchen sink. Through word of mouth, I gave Drain Control a call on Sunday. Kim picked up and said he would be at our place at 1:00pm. He showed up 5 minutes early, diagnosed the problem and gave us a fair quote. He started by covering the area he was going to work in, then gently placed his tools and materials there. He replaced the cracked pipe under my kitchen sink, performed numerous tests and cleaned the area thoroughly. Kim was very professional, honest and meticulous. He is very good at what he does. I highly recommend this company and will use their services again.

In shutting off the ancient sprinkler system before leaving town, as fate would have it, the pipe cracked and the pressure side started gushing an eight foot tall fount of watery goodness. Kim arrived just a few hours later and tackled the problem amazingly quick and efficiently. Unsure if the entire mains would need repair or if it could be isolated to the sprinkler pipes he took a chance and tried removing the sprinkler system that branched off the main pipe (the condition of all the pipes looked hopelessly beyond saving), but to our amazement the threads connecting the sprinkler pipe system were still good. So out went the old corroded sprinklers and their local pipes, and in went new PVC tubing and siphon valves. A short time later, pressure restored, and it looks good - I am no longer watching a miniature old faithful and Kim with Drain Control gets my thumbs up! He knew his stuff, didn't mind my hanging around and was a pleasure to work with. I'd definitely recommend him and will keep his contact info should anything else go wrong with those old creeky pipes......

Kim is highly recommended! We had a smell. PG&E came out, no leak. He suggested sewer issues. I read the reviews on Drain Control and gave Kim a call. He offered some advise over the phone and we tried one thing that didn't work to remove the smell. We called back and he was able to come out next day. We were expecting a sewer issue but as soon as he opened the basement door he know immediately what is was. Dead critter! Pg&e searched the basement but found nothing. Well, Kim braved the toxic fumes and down he went. Within about a minute he had to come up and run to a patch of dirt in the back yard. He was gagging so bad. Well, he went to his truck and got a mask and some other tools and began. Once again he was up and out rushing to the patch of dirt, gagging all the way. He said he found it. He removed it which he had to cut a step from a wooden ladder it was wedged in. So needless to say Kim is awesome! Not even his kind of job, but was up for the challenge. Very nice, professional and knowledgeable. We will have upcoming plumbing and sewer installations that we will call him for.

Kim is my new guy! He totally set me up. I had a drain clog between the sink to the main line. Kim gave me a very reasonable quote and arrived a early for the appointment. He unclogged the drain quickly. We then agreed on a very fair price for Kim to use his camera to show me the pipe. Turns out my old galvanized pipe has corrosion severely choking the pipe (down to 5%). Kim also gave me a very fair quote to replace it. I was so happy with Kim's skill and equipment that I asked me to use his larger camera to find out why my main line from the house to the city sewer gets clogged/backup sometimes. We agreed on a very fair price and he used his big camera and showed me a monster set of roots. We talked for awhile about hydro blast versus digging up and replacing the pipes. We agreed to use the hydro blast the next evening. Kim arrived early again and spent nearly 2 hours fixing the problem. He had both the camera and the hydro blast down the pipe enabling us to see the before and after video for each section w/roots. He ended up pulverizing 5 different sections of roots. Awesome. He guarantees I'll be clog free for a year and we both expect I'll be OK for at least 5 years.
