My water heater went out and in need of a plumber quick. I called at least 5 different plumbers and from the moment Wedgeworth answered the phone I got a good vibe. They were the most courteous and helpful from the get go. They did not have any openings that day so I went ahead and made an appointment for their next available which would be the following day. I told them I was going to call around and if someone else was able to come that day I would call back and cancel. They understood. A few hours later she called and said they had a cancellation and would I like them to come today. Yes! I was coming from work and they actually beat me home and waited for me patiently. Rex was my technician. He was awesome. I don't know what the issue was but he fixed it in less then 5 minutes. He explained what he did and also answered my questions about a tankless water heater. I will definitely use them again.

Acosta Plumbing were great, I requested service due to our water heater problems, immediately they responded to come over, they diagnosed the problem and provided me with different options of what was need to be done. They replace within the same day and had us with running water in non time.

Right choice was very available to answer all my questions regarding a water heater project I needed done. They educated me on the difference between on demand electric vs a smart tank water heater and helped me choose the best for my home. They built a platform for me to get my new water heater back to code and at the right height and also helped me to fix some piping issues that arose during installation. I had a clogged sink in kitchen. Requested quote from Drain Control and a few other plumbing services (mentioning I needed snake from the roof since that was I always did and the only thing worked in the past). Kim was the only one who replied with exact cost and solution. All other services just push me to schedule with them without giving any useful information.

In a few hours Kim was already standing at my front door. It took him 30 minutes to hydro jet + power snake from the roof to get the work done. It turned out there was a lot of grease in the pipeline (we never let food garbage in the drain). I believe the hydro jet really helped with the grease.

Another nice thing from Kim is that you get 1 year warranty which I never got from other services.

I would definitely use Drain Control next time and highly recommend Kim and his service!

Hugo really wowed me. He did 3 jobs for me today, one fairly complicated. The results surprised and delighted me--and he charged less than I expected. I would DEFINITELY use him again.

Robert and his crew are absolutely fantastic! We had a pipe bust during this icey cold weather and he was able to get to us in less than an hour and quickly fixed the problem. My tub wasn't draining and my toilet was leaking from the sides, I found them on yelp and sent a message, they responded within 30 min, I called and got a quote they showed up within 2 hours from the call ( on a Saturday afternoon) they were very friendly and very knowledgeable they explained everything, and exactly what was happening, they showed me every step of their work.
I paid exactly what I was quoted over the phone.
The price was very good and they guaranteed they job also they explain how to do have this problem again.

I liked everything about Texas Best Plumbing. The plumber responded to my request for a quote quickly and it was a good price. He came to the house that day, he was courteous and efficient, he did excellent work & the total bill was exactly what he had quoted me!

Needed these folks to snake a couple of drains that were slow-draining. They responded quickly with a quote, showed up on time for the appointment, were courteous and neat, and did the work quickly. Would definitely hire again.

These guys were so great really went above and beyond to help me with my sink not draining would use them again and again

We had Alliance out multiple times this year and they've been great every time. I'm sad I can't remember the name of the guy who fixed our shower leak but I'm old so.... But Nick and Stephen were out today and were very professional despite me . They fixed our hot water heater leak and gave us a bid to repipe the house (because our house is old, too). They seem honest, trustworthy and nice so that's all good! We'll keep calling Alliance when we need plumbing help.

They contract with homserve. I tell them the stem is leaking and when I turn the kitchen faucet and bathtub faucet to hot water the pressure drops drastically. I walked Josue over to the bathroom and turned the faucet on in the tub. The stem leaked and when I turned it all the way to hot the pressure dropped. He says it's the interior plumbing that needs to be replaced because Houston has hard water and all of the minerals (which he started naming like magnesium and phosphorus) mixing with the hot water causes scaling. I have interior coverage with home serve and it is covered (scaling over time can cause a complete blockage)
per home serves interior coverage copied straight from their contract if you put in 77029 as the area code.

Like I said I turn the tub faucet on along with the bathroom sink on so he can see the dramatic difference. He says that the interior plumbing needs to be replaced. A lot of older homes have galvanized pipes and over time scaling happens. Josue says let me go out to my van and speak with homserve to try and get it covered.  Home serve calls me and says that the valve is a fixture, and it isn't covered. I'm like huh (the girl with home serve is named Nika and she had a very bad attitude) I said we didn't talk about him replacing the valve. I said the stem was leaking and he said the interior pipes needs to be replaced. She then states that he didn't say anything about the interior pipes. Josue is still sitting in his van. At this point I have an extra device and I am recording this entire conversation because I knew it was going to be some BS and if you are wondering Texas has a one-party law and I consented to being recorded, look it up!

I asked him did he tell her about the interior plumbing needing to be replaced. He said yeah I mentioned it but like I told you home serve won't cover it because you still have pretty good pressure. the only time I have seen them cover it is when there was a complete blockage. then Nika says that there has to be below 30psi in two or more fixtures open in order for it to be considered low water pressure. She said that my water pressure is measuring 50 psi with two or more fixtures open and that's why home serve is not covering.  I asked her how she knew it was 50 psi when he never gauged the water. I had to go outside an ask him to gauge the water.

I kid you not I am being told two different things from Josue who has totally changed his story and Nika the idiot with a bad attitude.   He never checks the pressure in my home. I tell him to come back inside and check the pressure. he says ok ill come back in and check the pressure. He never comes back in. I start recording him sitting in his freakin van. I go back outside cause home serve tries to call me again. I answer it but don't hear anything then they hang up and don't try to call again. Like I said I am recording. I go ask him what is he doing because he never came back in the house, and he never gauged the water pressure. he says yes, I did I have the pictures. I said show me. he placed a gauge on the outside valve infront of my home and says that it is registering 60 psi. When I checked my audio recording Nika said my psi was registering 50 now Josue says its 60.  I asked him why he didn't gauge the pressure in my actual home on one of the fixtures because that's what Nika said.

There is a character limit on this, but I have Nika and Josue on recording. Very unprofessional, bad business on home serve and Texas Quality Plumbing. This business can contact me if they want to listen to the audio. Josue didn't check any of the fixtures in the house. I turned the water on in the shower and the bathroom faucet. that's as far as his inspection went. I called homeserve to let them know they are sending out another plumber.  i dont think I can attach the audio but I would if I could. I took video of him sitting in his van which what he basically got paid to do but not sure if i can post that either

Today we had a problem with the electricity going to our new oven. At 4:30 pm we called and got an appointment for the same day. Jose came out within 20 minutes and replaced a breaker. Our oven installer was able to complete the install same day. Thanks Abacus. We will be a loyal customer.
