After obtaining two (2) quotes, EPW Services was the most reasonable. The plumbers provided a detailed assessment of the issue and returned at the exact time and day to repair the issue. I recommend this company for any and all plumbing needs.

Since the owner responded, I figured I would restate and add additional information here. He is also incorrect on what was wrong with sink, which comes as no surprise to me after experiencing the quality of their work.

1. They were consistently late, even with a big windows of time
2. Installation of my sink was faulty
3. Even though it was their faulty installation that caused the issue, they wanted to charge me additional money to finish the job.

Now ultimately, I reached out to another repair person I had trusted in the past, but wasn't aware they did plumbing. They came out and took a look and realized these guys installed piping that was the wrong size. He went out, got the piping, installed it and charged me a whopping $35. Now, that's still $35 more than I should have paid if these guys did their jobs correctly., but a lot less than the minimum $150 they would've charged me to do the wrong repair (a reminder, they wanted to do the wrong repair here, they were totally off base on the issue).

Another thing I didn't mention in the first part of my review is that during the initial installation, they claimed they need to add additional support in order to secure the sink. Seemed reasonable at the time (I'm not a plumbing expert) and maybe I did actually need it. However, the prior sink stood securely for several years without issue. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't be surprised if it was wholly unnecessary. The repair also required me to go find my own dry wall guy and such to fix up these supposed necessary fixes, which was, more money.

It seems like they may be one of those types of companies that gives you a low quote at first and then finds ways to nickle and dime you (and by nickle and dime, I mean 100-200 additional dollars for each thing they think up).

Now they have a good rating here on yelp, but if you check google reviews, you'll see they have a pretty low rating compared to other plumbers in the area. Normally, I would've done this, but as a busy parent, I just can't do the due diligence I once did.

I cannot recommend this company. I would recommend the Heights Handyman if you live in the Heights or nearby areas. They are reliable, cost effective, full service, and trustworthy.

Hap & Jordan helped me repair an under the slab belly that most other companies didn't want to touch.  They did so creatively by creating a separate drainage line around the perimeter of my house, which avoided having to tunnel down below the home's slab.  Work was done on schedule at a reasonable price considering the scope. Would happily recommend EPW for all plumbing needs.

Horrible service. We had an appointment twice for them to come and re-pipe the home
First appointment on March 29 no call no show. After tracking them down they said I could not do the job until the following Friday.
We wanted to cancel but they assured me 100% they will be here on following Friday. The Plumber even came in and Survey that house.On Friday Once again No call no show. When I called the receptionist transferred me to Mark who was extremely rude and told me they're not coming because the house does not belong to us. Refused to explain
This is totally ridiculous especially since we have lived in on this house for over 35 years. This company does not have the common decency to communicate with their customers especially after the Houston freeze! Because we have counted on their services we are now going to be without water for months to come

Customer service is basic in every business, and I don't appreciate when someone hung up the phone on my face just because he didn't understand me...

I wanted to give them another shot after I was unimpressed with their repipe of my house because I'd like to have a reliable plumber in mind if the need arises. They quoted me $3700 to install a gas line 28 feet from the meter to appliance or $1500 if I dug the trench myself. Long story short, I did the job myself. It took me 6 hours and 10 minutes of work at a cost of $178.93 for materials and for a licensed inspector to come out and approve it as well as my insurance companies approval. Just the fact that they were going to charge an additional $1700 for the trench that only took me just about an hour is insane.

Dylan and Will made quick work of my list of plumbing- installed new disposal, fixed a leak under kitchen sink, installed 2 new toilets, fixed a hissing sound from another toilet,replaced corroded hoses and valves on one toilet, relit my water heater, inspected water heater for cause of pilot going out, gave a nice quote on installing a tankless water heater, and out the door by 1pm!   They were both polite, friendly, answered all my questions well, and they protected my wood floor.

I'm having them back later this week to do another job. You should too!

EPW Services responded quickly to my service request.  They arrived on time and their plumber was professional and friendly.  I'll definitely use them again and I'm happy to recommend them to anyone that needs a plumber.

We didn't call you to fix anything. You were contacted for an estimate and given all the details of the need prior to and again, upon arrival. As for the irritation, clearly you're misinformed. My problem only arose when your technician was more interested in being nosy & wanting details - which was irrelevant, instead of just offering up the estimate you were to there to provide. Irregardless, you're right - EPW is unable to provide me with such services, but not by your choice - by mine. Thanks for your reply!****

EPW did a stellar job installing my water ionizer/ water filter. Even though this is not a typical service offering they were able to accommodate my request. Jordan in the office took the time to watch the installation videos I sent which made me feel confident they understood what was in store. Will and Stephèn came on time and were very professional. They figured out best way to make the connection given the limitations of my faucet and even made a trip to Lowe's to get a needed part. They did a great job on the installation. Although the job took longer than expected they adhered to the original 'guesstimate' quote that Jordan gave me over the phone ahead of the job. I am satisfied with the job that was done by EPW and will use them in the future for other plumbing projects. AND I'm super excited to use my new water ionizer and eliminate the need to buy bottled water anymore! THANK YOU!!

Super impressed with customer service and their ability to fit us into their schedule. We used them for a few projects on a rental property and have been super pleased. Will even walked us through a few ways to fix something ourselves when they wouldn't be able to come out before our next guests. EPW will definitely be our plumbing service from here on out!

They have been to our house many times to fix the sink, garbage disposal, etc. They are always on time, always professional, and always reasonable.

We moved into our house a few weeks ago. It's a 40 year old structure, so we wanted to have repairs done in areas identified by the inspector's report. EPW came out and gave clear estimates for repairs and made recommendations about simple fixes we could do ourselves to save money. In the case of a leaky jet tub, instead of just patch a deeper issue, they suggested we considered an entire replacement and made recommendations for saving money on the install, but were also more than willing to patch if we wanted. The repairs they did conduct were done quickly and efficiently. We will definitely call them again for other plumbing needs.

I found EPW Services through Yelp, and I was impressed by the fast response from Mrs. Phyllis.  I ended using them twice this month.  On April 16 for my sinks, Mr. Will and Mr. Stephon came out and were on time and very professional and fixed my issue right away.   Then on April 20th, I had not hot water, ended up needing a new water heater and Mr. Boy Wolff was available earlier then the service time given and quoted me a price, so we shop around and got a second quote, Mr. Wolff spoke to his manager and they matched the price and installed it the same day.  Mr. Wolff had a exceptional customer service in earning my business and was very professional.   EPW Services are now my preferred Plumbing Company.

Repipe Specialists of Texas and EPW Services (sub contractor) only receive a one star review based upon our experience of over six months to address and correct the damage caused by their crew during installation. In the end after engineer reports and custom steel braces installed at the expense of EPW and our selves as the home owner, the issues was finally resolved (after six + months). From what I have learned, there is a long history of problems with EPW Services instalation work yet Repipe Specialists of Texas continues to partner with this company. My only advice is to retain an attorney up front and not try and work the issue out with either company. In the end you do get what you pay for, we received structural damage to our home and poor service but we did get a 10% discount for all our troubles. I would not recommend based upon my experience with sub contractor EPW Services or Repipe Specialists of Texas unwillingness to take ownership and responsibility of the outcomes.

Holy crap these guys are awesome! Polite, kind and professional. We had Jeremy, John, Brett and Grant, and Lee even popped in for a while to help out.

My husband was super happy with the work, too.

They did our re-pipe, but we got a magnet so we can use them for all our plumbing needs in the future.

Well found these guys on the request a quote  part of YELP app.
Had to have my washing machine faucets box replaced they along with a few other replied very quickly their price being the lowest at around 275 they replaced both faucets and the box and the total bill was 295 whereas the lowest other estimate I got was 380
Other company said they would have to come out to even give an estimate no thanks when I know exactly what I need. They were on time called ahead like they said they would let me know they were on the way being that this was a rental property I don't live in that was much appreciated definitely didn't want to be sitting there all day waiting on someone to show up.
They came in assessed what was going on and went right to work.
I can't remember the guys name who did the job but he seemed very thorough cleaned up after his self and it was greatly appreciated.
i'm in the air-conditioning business and get people asking for plumbers all the time so these guys will get a lot of recommendations for me.

These guys are THE BEST!!!  Our house flooded last spring and since then we've had them out several times for everything from replacing valves to a new hot water heater.  They always return my calls within a few minutes and provide next-day service.  Their prices are more than reasonable and they give quotes over the phone, which they stick to.  No surprises!  The work they do is outstanding and every employee I've met has been extremely helpful and courteous.  

On a side note, the first time EPW Services came out to replace some plumbing, one of the plumbers, Jordan, got shocked a couple of times by a water pipe.  He suggested we call an electrician, which we did, and come to find out our house wasn't grounded.  Besides being overall awesome, by detecting the voltage in our plumbing these guys literally might have saved our lives.

Since our house flooded we've had so many contractors come through to do various kinds of work, but none have impressed me like EPW Services.  It gives me a real sense of security to know that if I need help I can call on them for honest, dependable and friendly service.

Loved how fast EWP responded, showed up with mask, and paid such close attention to detail.  Boy was awesome!  If we ever need any plumbing services in the future this will be our first call!

This is my second 5 star review. I was trying some DIY plumbing when I broke a part and couldn't remove it.  The water was shut off to the house and I was in over my head. I used Yelp to get a quote at about 6pm. They got right back with me with a price and could show up the next afternoon.
The next morning one of their plumbers called me and asked me to text a couple pictures of the problem so he knew what tool was needed for the valve I had demolished.  Once he got the pictures he gave me 3 different scenarios and costs. The first one he told me how to complete my project with the right tool.  Or he could do it or worst we would have to replace the valve do to my damage.  I said let me give it a shot and if I can't do it I will call you. I fixed it. No leaks yet.  I thanked Grayson for all his help and advice.

Great company! I ended up having a busted water valve and actually called another company first. The first company came out and recommend that I replace the whole thing for about $900. I then contacted EPW and had a tech come and look at the water valve. He explained it was an easy fix and could do everything for $275. They then came back out with all the parts needed and fixed everything. Some other companies seem like the techs are just salesmen who try and get you a to sign up for memberships and take advantage of people by replacing/fixing items that don't need replaced. I didn't get that at all from EPW. They were friendly and more importantly honest. Will be using again!

We had a water heater leak this morning in our attic around 6AM. I called around for estimates and they were were ranging between 3k- 5k for two water heater replacements and installations. Now I hate that when I need a repair and I call a company, I have to talk to an assistant who knows nothing about their field and all they can tell me is they would have to get a technician out to come do an estimate. It's just a waste of my time. I like talking to an actual professional who can give me an estimate with all the given data. It's just quick and easy. When I called EPW services, I was greeted by Jordan. I explained my situation and he gave me the best estimate. I've called him back multiple times just with other questions and he was able to answer them all. Jordan was really professional and knowledgeable about whole dilemma. We are currently waiting for them to actually do the repairs. Will update once everything is done

The technicians arrived on time at 1pm, drained the water out of the old water heaters, Replaced them  with the new ones, finished up and were out by 5pm. No complaints here! They did a good job. I would definitely use this company again in the future!

We were so satisfied with an installation, we are probably using them again for another project.

These guys are fantastic! Had 2 toilets leaking in my new house. Tried to fix one but just made a mess of it and decided to call a EPW to do the job. Came out exactly when they said the would and were extremely skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. Ended up replacing one of the toilets with a new one and they had it up and running in no time! They fixed the problem with the other toilet that i couldnt figure out and they even cleaned up my mess that I made the day before!!! The cherry on top was the price. Was a hundred dollars less than what i was expecting to pay!

I've used these guy for about 8 years.  Hap and Dillon are great plumbers and always get the job done right.  I have used them for clogged kitchen drains and faulty hot water heaters, but would not hesitate to use them for anything related to plumbing.  They are prompt and do not make a big mess.  Very polite as well.

I had EPW replace my attic water heater yesterday after loosing all the hot water in my house. They we able to make it out about 2 hrs after I called, gave me the best price out of several other quotes I got, and installed it very quick. The guys were really nice and kept a everything neat and clean as they worked. Definitely using this mom and pop business in the future.

We needed a replacement of our hot water heater. We received a quote from a few area plumbers, including an outrageously high quote from Abacus Plumbing, who also pushed hard for a quick decision. Lee of EPW quoted a much lower price and did not try to steer us toward the more expensive option. He showed up on-time this morning and did the job quickly and neatly. I am keeping these guys in the address book for future work.

Devon came out to my house today (6/2/17) from EPW Services Plumbing to install a new Delta kitchen faucet; remove an old toilet; and replace a cheap water shut off valve.  He was extremely efficient; knowledgeable; and professional; I was very impressed.  He cleaned up his work areas including vacuuming, which was wonderful.  I was able to pay him directly using a debit card.  I would highly recommend EPW Services to anyone that has plumbing needs!

Contacted them to provide quote on exterior gas connection. Arrived several hours late to appointment for quote. Upon inspection of job they provided quote over phone. I called back later to request written quote and said I was interested in proceeding with work. I was then told the owner was no longer interested in the job with no further explanation. This was quite frustrating as I had explained what I wanted before they came out to provide quote in first place. I guess the job wasn't big enough for them (though it certainly isn't cheap to do anything with your gas lines).

Had a plumbing leak from a PVC pipe that had a nail in it in the garage. Reached out on Yelp and Jordan (dispatcher) replied promptly. Next thing Lee & Jerome were out here to repair the damaged pipe. With beams running all across, it was a tight area to work with but Lee rolled up his sleeves and put in some hard work to get the job done! Not only that, he did the job at a fair price and he was a pleasure to have inside our house working on the damaged pipe. Will definitely keep EPW in mind for any future work. Thank you :)

They said they would be there between 2 and 4 and they got there at 2:15. They fixed my problem fast for a fair price. It was a major relief.

My HOA community has used EPW every couple of years to flush out the drains that run along our property.  Hap is always pleasant to deal with. He and his team are honest and courteous.  He knows our system well.  He comes out, does the job, and we send him funds.  Easy peasy.  I'd trust him for any job -- big or small.

One of my parent's water heater had a small leak so I figured that after 16 years, we may need to replace both. I requested a quote from EPW with the specs and Jordan immediately replied with a quote....he was very understanding of my concern of it costing more if he had found more issues and I was on a budget. I appreciate his patience of walking me through the process and he was very nice and professional. They came out the next day to replace both tanks. I will definitely keep them in my phone book for any future business. Thank you!!

These guys are great!  I had a few jobs around the house and EPW Services did a wonderful job.  They were fast and at a great price. I will certainly contact EPW Services for all my future plumbing needs.

I called EPW at 8:30pm, fully expecting to have to leave a message. Imagine my surprise when the phone was answered by a real person named Boy! He took my name, phone # and address along with a description of the problem. My original, 11 year-old disposal had finally started leaking really bad , and the bucket under the sink wasn't cutting it anymore. I had hesitated to call anyone because the last plumber at my house (who rooted out the kitchen drains) quoted me an exorbitant price to replace the disposal. Boy told me they could do an install for me and that I would get a call in the morning. He asked what time was best for me? I said anytime after 10 am.
Lee called around 11:30am and said it would be about an hour and sure enough, Lee and Jordan showed up on time. They took their shoes off at the door, my dog was happy to meet them, and they quickly installed the new garbage disposal that had been sitting in my garage for months, waiting for my nephew to install it.
I had called EPW based on the other reviews I read and I was not disappointed in any way.
These guys were on time, provided professional service, and charged a very reasonable price.

Epic fail!!!! Called first thing in the morning. Sure,no problem we can have someone there between 1:00 and 4:00 pm. Get a call later we are just too busy can we come  2 days from now?  Really....??? Can I have the name of your boss? We can't give out that information.  Unless you just want to waste your time do not bother with plumbing company.  There is Nothing I dislike more than being lied to .

The guys did a good job sourcing an old part to replace in my shower and worked hard to get out the old parts to replace them. Took two visits, but they stuck with it and I'm very happy with the result. Will definitely call them again if I have need.

I had a leak in my bathroom, called and left a message...the guys called back and were out here at 4pm.  They replaced the stems and it was an easy fix.  They were very courteous and friendly, I would definitely recommend them :)

Can you rate a company 6 stars? If so, EPW Plumbing Services would definitely merit it. I'm in the real estate business and deal with vendors of all kinds continuously, and I'm thrilled to have found this responsive, reasonable, professional and incredibly thorough plumbing company. They came out not knowing what kind of a job they were facing- and it was a challenge- and were here for four hours getting it done right, rechecking, with yet another final check of all four plumbing sites again before they left. And with the promise that if anything would go amiss to call them immediately and they would be out to make it right. Talk about integrity. I knew after the first phone call and five minutes with both plumbers that I had lucked into a real find. This family-owned business deserves all the referrals they can get.

Devin and Jerald are awesome!! Within 24 hours of my online request (using Yelp). I had a very competitive quote, and the difficult work was complete! The professionalism along with a great rate for a challenging job of re-routing a gas line is worthy of more stars. Extremely hard workers that represent the company well.

Only reason I'm giving 3 star opposed to 1 is because the 2 guys that showed up were very friendly and showed up exactly when they said they would on Easter Weekend. Now on to the rest, The water coming out of my kitchen faucet had an electric current and would shock us if we put our hand under the running water. I narrowed the issue down to the water heat so I call several places in advance until I got to EPW Services to get it looked at and taken care of. When I called I specifically asked if there was a service charge to come out and diagnose it, I was told there is no charge to come out, only the repairs.  The guys come out and look at the electrical hook up on my water heater and see the ground wire was disconnected, they attempt to reconnect but say I will need to get a crimp to do so as they were unable to secure it by tightening the screw on the wire and did not have any in the truck. They also quote me $875 to replace the water heater because since it's over 10 years old, they prefer not to fix it and is best to replace since there is a short somewhere within the unit (the electric current in the water.) Before they leave, they charged me $125 for a service call (when I called ahead I was told they only charge for repairs) when they did not repair anything, simply point out the ground was not connected. After talking with a few friends that are electricians, most common part in a water heater to go out and short is the heating elements, so I go to Lowes , buy the proper crimps to connect the ground wire, buy the 2 replacement heating elements and spent a total of $30 to  fixed it myself. I did not dispute the $125 at the time because I was more concerned with getting it fixed as soon as possible.

me the same day. They were exceptionally helpful. My plumbing issues were resolved timely and at a fair price. Will be using them again!

I  don't write a ton of reviews but for the exceptionally good or bad.  They were exceptionally efficient, knowledgeable and you can tell they are the  Incredibles when it comes to repiping.   You will not regret choosing them.  I've seen neighbors homes done by others and it was not a good experience.   In addition, I've also seen them work on another neighbors home and saw them in action.   I also got to speak with the neighbor who's home was worked on by EPW, after they were done and left. They had only glowing and positive reviews.  That's how I knew they were the ones I would choose. I did my research and probably got 8-9 different quotes.  I'm a bit neurotic when it comes to contractors and finding the right company.  It's not always about price for me it's about trust, quality, and good experience. They were one of the fastest because they put enough guys on the project to complete it quickly and knock it out. The second day they even had double the crew to replace my mainline and finish the interior. These guys know what they're doing because they do this so often.  They have two crews that only do repipes. They also found a leak from a  a previous plumbing job gone bad. Who uses electrical tape to connect 2 different sized plumbing pipes? They fixed it without charge.  I have no problems recommending them even to my mother in law.  Kidding aside, to any family, friends,  and neighbors. I give my whole hearted endorsement. They cleaned up everyday afterwards and minimized the cutting and dust as much as possible when cutting Sheetrock.

Great experience with EPW services in Spring. Mr. Edmund took my call on a water heater problem. Pilot light wouldn't stay lit. Turned out it needed the gas control valve replaced. Mr. Edmund came after hours and took care of the problem right away. He was very professional and friendly. Best part our water heater was still under warranty so Mr. Edmund didn't collect from us but handled all the paperwork to collect from the water heater company. Great people, great service!

I'm so pleased with EPW!  I was having plumbing issues and our toilets were draining into the backyard- Hap came to to my house at 9:00pm, shortly after calling him and fixed the problem. He was friendly, professional, affordable... I really can't express what a great experience it was. Highly recommended! I will refer all my friends and use EPW when I have issues in the future.

I had a water leak in the front yard So I called them to come and give an estimate on where the leak was. Since the leak was in the outside my gate along with the water main and I wasn't there I had locked the gate. Earlier people had come and neither of them had even asked to go inside, as they figured out where the leak was w/o breaking ground. These people said they'd look it over and give me an estimate. When I came back I find a guy digging up my front yard FROM THE INSIDE!! He had JUMPED OVER the gate and was digging w/o permission!! I told him that I just want to know how much it would be before I gave them the work.. and he threw a fit!!! What were they expecting.. that they'll dig up my yard and then force me to hire them??? After that he threw up his hands and said he can't find it and wouldn't work' so that other people can get the job' !! I had NEVER ASKED him to dig up anything!! .. he left a massive crater in my yard along with bushes that he had torn up and stormed off!! Thank god for the guys who came next!! Not only did they down awesome job but cleaned up his mess too!!!  DONT HIRE THEM UNLESS You LIKE BEING FORCED to hire someone !!!

We had a broken exterior underground pipe. Hap sent a very competent, polite guy round to sort it out. He even took the time to come and lend a hand when the job got a little more complicated than first thought. The cost of repairs was also a pleasant surprise. I would use EPW again and so should you.

On January 2nd I needed a water heater for a house I just bought. I found these guys on a home improvement website. Within and hour of the first call there was a technician at my house ready to do the water heater. They were upfront with the price and the installation work was top notch. You can't beat the price or the service. I will be a customer for life.

Water heater busted on Tuesday.  Wednesday I began searching the internet for quotes to get an idea of how much it would cost me to have someone install and remove it.  After the quotes reached upwards of $1300 with attic and removal fees I decided to purchase one from a local hardware store and do it myself.  I quickly realized not only how important it was to have running water but HOT water is a must...immediately!  I didn't want to wait the weekend so I tried getting quotes once again and ended up getting 2 that were reasonably priced and a bit lower than what I had been getting.  I decided to go with EPW Services and glad I did!  They came within a couple of hours of the discussion and were done and gone in a little under 2 hours (I had already drained the tank) even after I gave them the wrong heater size.  They were very responsive, courteous, reasonably priced (if there is a such thing) and I will definitely recommend and use them again.  I didn't feel like I was buying another house with all of the contracts, fees and explanations just good service.  Give them a try next time you need this type of service.

Good service ... I scheduled my appointment a week and a half before at 8:30. They arrived on time and were ready to get to work. Excellent and I would recommend them to everyone.
