Great and honest service. Came and quoted and finished the job the next day. I was quoted 3-4x higher from other companies.

Thanks to the other yelpers for helping me find a good plumber in my area. It was time for the hot water heater in the attic to be replaced, although it could have lasted a little longer, I didn't want to chance it. Tom and his crew came later in the evening, (so I didn't have to miss work,) to check it out, and then installed a new water heater the next day. The price was exactly what he quoted with no extra fees or surprises. He also consulted me on replacing some aging toilets and told me how much he'll charge, and where to find toilets that he put in his house. I've got Tom's number in my contact list because I'll definitely use him again, and recommend to anyone asking for a good plumber.

I had 6 responses to my query about an inside wooden  door not latching..
Richard from Patriot Services. was the first to respond and was available within 24 hours.
The quoted price from Richard was  amongst the more reasonable ones.
He arrived timely and corrected the latching problem in a jiffy.
He also gave me reasonable quotes for other tasks I asked him about.
He tells me that he is licensed in HVAC, Electrical and plumbing.
He also does Remodelling.
I will call upon him again, when needed.

Because of the recent freeze I needed a plumber and found The Katy Plumbing Company.  Not only did this company walk me through some damage control over the phone they sent Kurt out to my home in Katy within an hour. He actually saw that my repairs were minimal.  It took him a few minutes to see the problem and decided he could not in good conscience charge me the trip charge.....Thank you so very much, I am used to being ripped off.

I ended up not needing the service...,but let me tell you why. Because the gentleman on the phone offered some suggestions on clearing pipes. He could have just charged and come to do it himself. But he wasn't able to get to me until late tonight.  I really appreciate the service and care

Had them do a number or repairs at my house. The work was well done, but the bill far exceeded the original estimate.  When I asked for an itemized bill,   I first received what I will call a semi-itemized bill, and a price reduction that corrected some errors.  I persisted in requesting an itemized bill, and only after I spoke with Mike Tidwell did I receive it, along with a further price adjustment.
I believe that a consumer should be provided an itemized bill without having to request it, and my experience with the price adjustments make it difficult to recommend Mike Tidwell plumbing.

We recently had an emergency leak in the kitchen and it was after hours. We called from large to small companies and got horrendous quotes. One of the company charges $100 once they step out the door. We got referred to Victor from one of our neighbors and he has done several jobs for us so far without the horrendous prices.

I remember my first-time calling Han/Conn Plumbing Services was back in 2013. I found them on Angie's List. There were no plumbing companies that would repair galvanized pipes. Everyone wants to replace the entire house with plastic or copper pipes. That was a $10k job which exceeded my budget.

Javier was the guy who fixed that little leak for $200. It was not easily accessible in the attic above the bathroom sink. He is skilled and friendly. He speaks English and understands plumbing well.

When I called the number 8 years ago, a gentleman named Eddie Lopez, the owner, responded quickly. I was so happy that they fixed the leak, Javier also gave me his knowledgeable assessment.

I have not been in contact with him all these years. Just so happened I was desperately seeking a plumbing repair last year when the hot water pipe burst above my bedroom ceiling. I couldn't find galvanized pipe repair in business categories anymore. So, I texted Eddie. Javier came to my rescue the next day. The repair was a simple patch for $120. Because I planned to get pipes replaced in the entire house.

He also fixed a leaky shower faucet vault for $30 with a $45 supply I bought from Home Depot. (Other guys wanted to charge $130-$680.)

The following year, after my house was repaired. I called Eddie to get my entire house replaced with PEX pipe for $2800. Javier brought his assistant to finish in 2 days. I was grateful for their service. I just didn't like there was no written contract for the work. I had to find my own contractor to fix the drywall after they replaced the pipes.

I thought I skipped the burst frozen pipe damage after last year's Winter Storm Uri. I am actually one of many water pipe victims because of old galvanized pipes. It would be one of the requirements for the next house I buy.

My kitchen faucet broke last night. We called J & G this morning and they were able to send help right away. The technicians were polite & professional. The price was great. Definitely recommend them!

Chris was prompt, honest, personable, clean and efficient. What more can you ask for from a plumber? I mean, besides the reasonable price we got?

A service person name Derrick came to house within 30 minutes of my call. I was really surprised that they showed on time and I did not get a call saying they would be late others in the past we had used. Derrick introduced him, was very professional and knowledgeable. He spent time giving me information on my options on solving the exterior leak problem which I appreciated. I was able to ask some detail questions about the products to be used and the type of services available. Derrick also took a few moments to speak to me about financing, whole house re-piping and historical pipe installation. If all companies hired knowledgeable,personable and consultative individuals who complete their work in a timely manner no one would have to question reliability, worth or professionalism.

Very prompt to come out and give me the quote. Unfortunately very expensive quote almost 300 more than what I have received from others.

I know you will say that we had price manual that we use for quote but you have to change that to be competitive.

One more thing- for inspection you quoted $153 but I checked my city has 100 fees for inspection. So where that $53 dollars come from. So please change your price manual to be competitive. For this instant o would not recommend this provider

Thank you for your explanation. I am giving the review because of that permit price as many providers have given me 100 dollars quote for permit and they are the very well known companies. Since you explained me in detail and came out 1st to give me quote, I will upgrade my review to 2 star.

My parents decided to replace the three toilets in their house and they called Mr Rooter and they couldn't be more pleased with that choice. Buddy, the technician/plumber came out to give them an estimate and gave them four options. After deciding on which option installation was set up almost immediately. The crew showed up and were very friendly, went straight to work and completed the job very quickly. They were very careful moving through the house and took great care in keeping the work areas clean. My parents were very happy with the whole experience.
