The plumber who came was nice and capable. That's why I gave 2 stars. No more though because they are EXPENSIVE!! $280 for screwing in some hoses to hook up my washer and dryer?! That's insane. I could go buy the hoses myself and do it. Granted, this is the first time I've called a plumber, so maybe this is market rate, but even if it is, what a racket!!

Highly recommend!!! We ran into an emergency situation on a Sunday (could have been without water) and jumped onto Yelp to search for a plumber. I could have not picked anyone better. He was so nice and even though he was closed he came out quick. He fixed the problem in no time at such a great price. Hands down, an exceptional plumber! I needed a plumber on Monday morning to finish up a DIY project that I had given up on Saturday evening. I was desperate. John was booked for Monday, but he promised to try to work me in that evening and come Tuesday morning if he could not make it on Monday. I really appreciate his willingness to do that. I did not use him because I found someone else who could do the job on Monday. John was very grateful when I called to cancel our appointment. He asked me to give him a Yelp review, so here it is. He did all he could for me - more than several other folks I called.

An example of great customer service: Called today to see if Gary or one of his coworkers could come by and take a look at our disposal, which had stopped working a few days ago. Never having had to deal with it before, I was unaware how easy the solution was, and rather than take advantage of the situation, Gary talked me through the basic steps over the phone. No charge. My disposal works again and I've found a plumber I can truly trust!

Right choice was very available to answer all my questions regarding a water heater project I needed done. They educated me on the difference between on demand electric vs a smart tank water heater and helped me choose the best for my home. They built a platform for me to get my new water heater back to code and at the right height and also helped me to fix some piping issues that arose during installation. The team was professional, thorough and polite. I'll be calling them again when I need to update my toilet. Thank you Travis and Justin for your expertise.

I had a main water line leak in the front lawn near the water meter. They were quick to respond and setup an appointment to come out and find where the leak was at. He arrived early to his scheduled time and went right to work looking for the leak. He was able to repair it within a couple hours the same day.

Based on Hugo's 5 star reviews I decided to use him to install my outdoor Ring camera with 2 lights. He arrived on time, was professional and we discussed the work I needed. He completed the job on time, added something extra for a better install and then made sure the camera was set up and facing the direction I wanted. Plus, he charged what he quoted my on the dollar! I was happy to give him a tip for the extra mile he went for my home. I have been looking for a handyman for odd jobs around my house and I will definitely be using Hugo again.

Robert replied to me very quickly and was super flexible about working with our schedule.  He kept us in the loop as to exactly when his team would arrive.  They did a great job and were very friendly....I agree with the other positive reviewers.  We will definitely call them again for the next time.

No hot water to the guest room tub. Called Texas Plumbing and a serviceman came out the next day. James correctly identified the problem and fixed it, in time for our guests to take a hot bath. We were quite satisfied with his work.

Contacted them to provide quote on exterior gas connection. Arrived several hours late to appointment for quote. Upon inspection of job they provided quote over phone. I called back later to request written quote and said I was interested in proceeding with work. I was then told the owner was no longer interested in the job with no further explanation. This was quite frustrating as I had explained what I wanted before they came out to provide quote in first place. I guess the job wasn't big enough for them (though it certainly isn't cheap to do anything with your gas lines).

Stellar. Responded quickly to my quote request with a competitive rate. Showed up on the early side of the job window, same day as the quote request mind you. Very professional and quick as well. He not only unclogged the sink but showed me where it may have gotten wet, AKA where I should look for mold potentially. He dried the area and cleaned up everything, super mindful with padding to make sure not to damage the floor. He also looked into our toilet after the fact because it was running odd and fixed that free of charge. This will be my first call next time I have any issues.

Called Chris on Friday afternoon; said he would be out at 10AM on Saturday. Showed up on time. Gave me two different options to replace water heater. Was upfront and honest about when he could get it done on Monday. Called Monday morning and told me when his crew would arrive. His crew showed up on time and got to work. Did the job in a shorter time than expected. Chris came and made sure everything was perfect and that we were happy. Great communication and professionalism. I will be using Chris and Texas Best Plumbing again.

This guy was the only one who responded to my Yelp request for water heater repair. The others never responded or said they only work on what they install. Even though the issue hasn't been fixed, I like to acknowledge this guys responsiveness and eagerness to win your business.

Toilet was backing up into tub. Figured line needed roto to clear the line. After MAJOR work and thousands more than I needed to spend, they dug up my yard and tore apart my deck to repair a small hole in cast iron pipe. Now, about a week after completion, I'm having the same EXACT issue. Toilet backing up into tub. I'm not happy.

Had them out today to fix a leaking shower and was beyond impressed. Fast response and polite staff. Chris was my plumber today and he was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Would definitely recommend this company and especially Chirs.

I had a poor experience using this business to fix my hot water heater in July and August 2022.
We have a fairly new and common Noritz tankless hot water heater which stopped working in mid-July.
I went with the fix proposed by them, spent over $1,000 doing so. They have been out 5 times since(hot water has been intermittently on and off since then), a few different technicians- and no one has been able to figure out why their repair can't fix the problem.
The office manager at TQP also has been hard to get a hold of and doesn't always return calls.
Finally I called another company this week.
Their technician figured out the problem within an hour or so  - it was a faulty valve not the sensor they replaced. Furthermore, the other company arranged to get my parts replaced under the warranty, which TQP didn't tell me was at least an option. I will not be using them again.

Had the best experiences with Abacus for the past few years have been excellent! Always professional, always timely and knowledgeable. All of our issues and upgrades have come with numerous options completely explained. The experience have been a breeze and reasonable. Saved our bacon on more than once!
Highly recommended.
