I contacted Wayne about replacing a toilet just because I was home and wanted it done.  Wayne responded to my email promptly and gave me an estimate for 2 brands and didn't push for the more expensive one.  His estimate was completely reasonable and cheaper than others I had gotten.  We scheduled for the next day and he was on time, so nice, professional and let me know exactly what needed to be done.   He and his crew were quick, efficient and so clean!   Not a drop of water was spilled and they left the area cleaner than when they arrived.   I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

On the recommendation from a friend I gave Mike a call and he was here within an hour. The kitchen sink drain was clogged, and my 15 foot drain snake was not able to clear it.  Mike brought his equipment around the side of the house and was able to access the kitchen drain from the exterior. His equipment was able to clear the clog in under 10 minutes. The invoice came via email immediately and I was able to pay online. Professional, expedient, and much more affordable then the other options I had on a Saturday. Highly recommended!

Austin has done two different services for us. I found him on Yelp and now am happy to add my review. He is prompt and professional and very personable. One service we had a Flow-Tech system put on for our hard water. When we had questions he even had the Flow-Tech rep come out to verify the system was working properly. He is very honest and explains everything to you. I highly recommend him. He will be our plumber for many years to come!

Very prompt response to my phone call and were at my house within a few hours. I thought I had a major expense facing me with a tub drain issue and the likelihood that the tub needed replacing.

Instead, the plumber Luis sent, Lance figured out a repair and for $275 my problem was remedied.

Our PVC connecting to the water meter outside burst and was flooding on the driveway and the city said we needed a private plumber to fix it. Shawn picked up right away and was ready to send someone within two hours. A Week later both of our water heaters stopped working and were left without hot water right before a cold front was to hit! They came to the rescue again and Were so empathetic, so respectful, and diligent. Always respond, whether you call or text! Reasonable, fair, and so friendly! 100% would recommend to anyone!!!

Note: My husband was the main person who dealt directly with We Do Repipes (WDR) so this review is largely based off of his reports to me.

We found ourselves needing new pipes for the entire house so we got a few quotes. Water was coming out rusty and water pressure was low. After inquiring based on reviews on Yelp, an appointment for the estimate was set up the next day. They were on time and the estimate was quick and a quote given once done. There was an early bird price if we made up our minds within 2 days - it was $300 less than the normal quoted price which was still slightly lower than the one we already had.

Everything was the same except WDR does not paint (but they will patch up with Sheetrock) and they would only need one day to do the repiping. You get the honors (or find someone to do it) of making sure the colors match again. We were waiting on a few factors and ultimately decided upon WDR, but the day after the early bird pricing expired. Sad.

Once we contacted them, they came the next day. It was a new (to us) and empty house so we needed to stop by to unlock the doors for them. Cleanliness and concerns of theft weren't huge issues. They were great - professional and nice. A breeze to work with! As promised, all the repiping was done that first day. They work in teams and they'll switch off. Once done, they generally insist on a walk through and take personal care to make sure things work. They also discovered that the shower heads were shoddy, informed us about it, then quoted us additional and changed those for us as well - same day.

The next day, husband was present for the inspector to make sure everything was done correctly and to get his seal of approval. Almost directly after, WDR arrives to finish some things that weren't up to par. They followed up to make sure everything was good.

Day number three consisted on last minute items and patching up the walls. I went by the house to check on things on the way back from work after everyone was done on the second and third days. Day 2 featured gaping holes in the walls. Day 3 had those holes closed with discolored walls at those spots. Everything looked good.

Only bad notes: someone didn't turn off one set of light on day 2 and day 3, most of the lights were still on. Also, the place was a lot dirtier than I left it. In addition to the countertops being dustier, there were parts here and there, some sort of white substance (plaster?) was all over the toilet cleaning brush (it's ironic that you need to clean something you use to clean), the toilets as a whole were filthy and I couldn't get some of it off, a mirror wasn't replaced on the wall, and I'm fairly sure one of the workers took a dump that involved splattering. Defecating is a wonderful event, but maybe try to keep it cleaner afterwards. Maybe because the place was empty and it wasn't sparkling clean to begin with, they didn't bother with cleaning up after.

Luckily, I stopped by those days to turn off the lights and cleaned the toilets as best as I could. If I had found out the lights were on 24/7... not cool.

Even so, for fast and efficient service, going above and beyond and the care that they gave to their work (if not being energy efficient or leaving the place all that clean), and best pricing (other than how I need to google how to paint), I still grant them 5 stars.

I have been using S & B for years. My girlfriend (single mom with 4 kids) had to have them jackhammer through her foundation to fix some pipes, and they gave her a price far below other estimates because they knew she was a single mom. I had an inspector say I needed to redo all my 50 year old pipes and I called them out to do the job (major major money) and they said it did not need to be done. So I would have spent many thousands but they saved me all that money. They always do a good job at a competitive price and have always squeezed me and my girlfriend in for an emergancy.

I have to offer up a retraction.  We slipped through the cracks in the tail end chaos of the February winter storm.  The owner Doug reached out to me to make it right. I found Doug to be empathetic, kind, and so very sincere to make things right. If I ever have the opportunity to need a plumber in the future I would call him first. He represents what business owners should- integrity and professionalism. I think I can honestly say he's one of the nicest people that I've ever spoken with in the business world. Thank you Doug!

I have used several plumbers over the years, but a few years ago I found The Plumbing Guy to be the best.  Paul and Shelley Weitz own the business.  They are honest and extremely hardworking.  They work really hard to make their satisfy their customers and accommodate their schedules.  Paul came out a few days ago to do some work on our house.  Strangely enough this morning the hot water went out while I was taking a shower.  I thought maybe we had used up the hot water, but this evening when I came back home it still wasn't working.  I called and left a message for them at 7:30 PM - nothing urgent, but just saying it was something I'd like to get an appointment for.  Shelley called me back within a few minutes and Paul was here at 8:30 PM to check on it.  Fortunately it was only a pilot light that went out, and he didn't even charge me for it!  I feel bad that he had to come out so late at night when he could be at home resting and tucking in his kids.  But, they said that is how their business has been lately.  They work hard, are honest, charge fair prices, and do a great job so they are in demand.  If you need a good plumber, look no further than The Plumbing Guy!   713-771-8000

We needed a water heater replaced. They replaced our water heater on the weekend, showed up on time, we're clean, did quick work, honest and up front on materials pricing and very polite. Will call again for my piping and plumbing needs.

George with RPM Plumbing came out to install a garbage disposal that I had purchased (American Standard).

George was very precise, he inspected and evaluated everything before he started the install. Upon inspecting he let me know that one of the pipes should be replaced. He removed and disposed of the old garbage disposal, he was very organized, worked very clean and cleaned up everything when he completed the job.

Also, George was very professional and courteous. I would definitely request George for my next plumbing job.

I read the reviews on this company and since they were close to our house and seemed reputable, I would give them a shot.  What a JOKE!  Our hot water heater wouldnt stay lit so the tech walked out to the water heater and said well, did you call the company on the water heater?  I looked at him and said no, do I have to use them? and he said no.  What a strange question since I was the one who called him in the first place.  So then the guy hits the start button and says well, it lit so if it doesnt stay lit you will have to buy a new one.  (it went out 10 minutes later which is the REASON I CALLED)  So then he charges us $112...WHAT???  The trip charge is $48.50 but charges us $60 to hit the Start button.  WOW..thats unacceptable.  So, I called TWICE and finally got the Service Manager (HA) on the phone who is not very nice and says well thats what we charge to start your water heater.  I argued with him saying you charge SIXTY dollars to hit ONE button?!  He finally agreed to give me a refund on the $60.  Its just a shame that I try to use a local company and get screwed.  Unbelievable and has taught me a good lesson.

I hired Village to replace my Trane AC system in June 2010.  Last week, an energy specialist was in my attic and pointed out several problems with my  new unit:
1) the duct were falling off the air handler/coil system.  The duct connectors were broken and the service technician simply duct taped the ducts to the unit.  
2) the air handler was coming apart because, again, only duct tape was used to seam the parts together.
3) the vent pipe was not sealed at all where it went from the attic to the outside.  There was about an inch of day light that could be seen around the pipe.

Consequently, I was air conditioning and heating my attic. The energy specialist informed me that new duct connectors should have been installed, then taped and special bonding spread over the tape.

Though Village Plumbing apologized for this pitiable job, the supervisor who came to my house said that there was nothing wrong with the vent pipe, that in fact, the previous work was a great job.  He said that there was a cap on the top of the vent that would prevent rain from coming into my attic.  He had no concern for the fact that rats & roaches could enter my house or that rain might come down at an angle or even run down the singles & enter my attic.  Though he agreed to caulk the opening, he did not put the proper sheet of metal under the shingles that is required to protect my home from rain.  The energy specialist said that Village Plumbing did not seal the vent properly.
