Came out for an emergency visit when my shower broke and I could not turn off the water. They were super fast, arrived in under an hour and fixed the problem (replaced the cartridge in the shower) in 30 minutes. I absolutely will absolutely call them again.

I was totally blown away by the responsiveness of Austin Plumbing! I found them on Yelp and I had a few questions in advance of setting up an appointment and they responded quickly and setup an appointment to service my two tankless water heaters as well as replace a new kitchen faucet. The team was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Needed a pinhole leak in a copper pipe soldered pronto. Was able to quickly and easily arrange for a next day appointment. The plumber showed up on time, was polite and professional, and did an efficient, thorough job for a reasonable price. Would use Austin Plumbing again, if need be.
Cautionary tale: If you happen to hear a frog in the garage, chirping happily away behind the washer and dryer, consider taking a closer look... you just might have a longstanding pinhole leak that's made soggy mess of your drywall, and a comfy wet little home for Kermit.

It is my recommendation that you use a different service.
Austin plumbing charges a service call fee to come out and look at the requested work.
Other plumbers do not. Fact.
My experience consisted of sending photos of the work to get a quote, only to have them insist on an in person visit
What they gained from seeing the same pipe in person vs in a photo apparently cost me $50.
Go another rout. The quote they gave me was 2x the price I ended up paying.
I've been meaning to update this but life events intervened. Still would be zero stars if that was an option.
So as suspected, the problem was the lower heating element in the hot water tank. The new plumber diagnosed it in 10 minutes, and had it fixed within the half hour. He had NEVER heard that a plumber wouldn't check the heating elements in a tank in fact he said that's what they all are supposed to do - not electricians.
So I did eventually get the hot water heater tank fixed. And Austin Plumbing still kept the $150 service call charge for doing nothing, and espite (a) giving faulty information, (b) causing me to to incur a needless service charge from an electrician, and (c) apparently not knowing how to service the heating elements on a hot water heater.
Do not recommend at all!
We use Austin Plumbing for all our plumbing needs. Quality work and reasonable pricing. Happy customer!

Fixed a plumbing leak in less than an hour that TWO other problems incorrectly diagnosed. I had originally believed that I needed to rip through the tile and replace the shower valve and all associated piping with the shower head. Codey was able to quickly analyze the leak and avoid doing any cutting saving me a ton of money and convenience.
Highly recommend Austin Plumbing and will be using them in the future for installing a water softener.

I recently hired Austin Plumbing for some toilet repairs in my home in Leander.
Austin Plumbing sent Codi to my home and I thought he was awesome. He swiftly diagnosed and fixed the issues causing my toilets to stop working.
I also got Codi's opinion on some other things in my home, since I recently moved in. Codi was clearly very knowledgeable and experienced.
Overall, Codi was punctual, courteous and quick and I would highly recommend Codi and Austin Plumbing for anyone looking for a plumber.
Can't say enough good things about this company! There was a miscommunication due to an used with their phone line but the owner came out and made it right. I will definitely be calling CJ and Austin Plumbing for all my plumbing needs from here on out and recommending them to friends!

They canceled my appointment because they had a question (they now tell me I was never on the schedule). They had ALL the information for the service. I have backups in the toilets with visiting family (5) members not being able to use the services of the toilets/showers etc. And I find this out 30 minutes after the window of service (9a - 1pm July6th)
So I don't understand why they didn't call me.

Austin Plumbing is awesome, and I strongly recommend them for any plumbing needs. After previous installation of the whole house water treatment system, we have an issue of low pressure to our irrigation. Chesley/Codi came back and worked hard to pinpoint the issue and fixed it up! I cannot appreciate more - Thank you!
CJ provided exceptional service! He quickly identified and repaired our leak and explained why it had occurred. He then fixed our garbage disposal and installed a new faucet when we asked him if he had time to tack those services on (we had only scheduled for the leak).
Great work and a professional, friendly demeanor. CJ was super responsive and it was easy to schedule this service. He is a fantastic employee--we had a great experience.
Very affordable. Responded to my inquiry, gave me a quote, and replaced my hot water heater quickly and with no issues. Friendly crew.
Did a great job installing our water softener overall. Unfortunately the interior of the softener was broke and really caused issues for us, but that wasn't the fault of Austin Plumbing it seems.

A couple of weeks ago I called Austin Plumbing (referral) and had them come out to take a look for me to see what the issue for my downstairs tub not draining was. Chesley (Technician) came out and did his thing and talked me through every step he was taking and we discovered the root of the problem which was just that. Roots had broken through the pipes and fortunately my HOA ( I live in a Condo) if responsible for anything from the Studs outward so they are not handling this major problem for me. I can say that Chesley was so super professional, very polite and not a forced polite either a very genuine man. As a single woman, this is all very important to me, creates trust and that is huge!!! From the quick appointment time , the courteous service from the phone call/appt to the service itself, thank you so much. I have stored them in my phone

I needed a stopped up sink unclogged. I contacted 5 local providers from Yelp, four responded
I chose austin plumbing.
First of all the office manager Chelsea responded right. He was very straight forward about scheduling a time that fit my availability I'm a disabled veteran and I was given a 20% discount
Cody the plumber arrived on time, respected my home and got right to work. He completed his work quickly and effectively
The other three vendors quoted prices that were over twice the price. They used complicated formulas that are obvious tactics at gouging

I had a great experience with Austin Plumbing! Chesley quickly fixed an issue with a commercial toilet that wasn't flushing. I'll be calling them first for future plumbing issues!
So responsive with a quote, service response, communication, quality of service. We were 1st time customers and I'd recommend them highly and will call them again, if needed. 5 stars!
I had Codi come to my house to install a new kitchen faucet and he was able to get it done quickly and was extremely professional to work with. A few days later, my water heater piping froze due to the weather we were having. Not only did Codi and CJ offer to come out for emergency services, but as I attempted to fix it myself they jumped on facetime and told me exactly what I needed to do to fix it. With their guidance, I was able to get everything working. I've never had this level of customer service before from a plumbing company. They have very reasonable rates and I can't thank them enough for saving me from having to shower at my neighbors house! Thank you both.

We had been struggling with a problem with our washing machine plumbing for quite a while. At least one other plumbing company seemed to have no clue as to how to repair it. The problem was that the output pipe had broken off at the bottom and even though it was repaired, the water flow outbound caused the washer to stop or else the laundry room was flooded. Austin plumbing determined that the outbound water flow needed to be connected to some pipes under our utility sink and a vent installed. That sounded very expensive, but ended up being very reasonable in cost. I would definitely recommend.

I got a quote from Austin Plumbing, but found another plumber who charged a lower amount per hour, so did not hire them.
I used Austin Plumbing for a broken shower faucet, and they were really easy to work with to schedule the work quickly and take of the repair rapidly too. Great experience and I'll use them again!
I have used austin plumbing on three different occasions. I'm able to get an appointment in just a day or two and they make sure the work is done right the first time
Great experience. I had a couple of repairs. They suggested I bought the equipment, which I did and they only charge me for labor. The technician was pretty much on time. It was well executed. I will definitely use this business again.

This is a new business that provided quick service, personable and polite technician with excellent work. I have used CJ with Austin Plumbing twice last year and he was fantastic. Prompt, efficient and courteous. I had a pipe break after the freeze in the garage ceiling on Friday morning. By 3:00 that afternoon, they had fixed the pipes and turned the water back on. Prices are fair and work is wonderful. I have 2 rental properties in the Austin area and will only use this company for all plumbing needs. I highly recommend Austin Plumbing.

Great service, and excellent communication. We had a sewer cap that needed to be replaced. We got updates when they arrived, when they got done, and when they left. Definitely recommend Austin Plumbing and will be calling them for future things that need to be fixed.
I have found my forever plumber. Cody was here today to provide an instant on water heater flush and another minor repair. He was courteous, fast and efficient. Their magnetic business card is now on my fridge so I never have to look anywhere else.
I called Austin Plumbing for some broken pipes from the ice/snow storm. They made it out the next day. They were able to repair everything and get us up and running. Super nice.

Called at 4:45pm on a Friday and CJ was at my house at 5:30pm. Quickly diagnosed my broken hose bib, communicated his plan, and executed the repair in the estimated time. Arrived with mask on, wore booties in the house, and was courteous thoughout.
Don't let the low yelp review count steer you away. Very good experience with Austin Plumbing.

The best rate I could find and the fastest turnaround time! I had to throw in the towel on trying to replace our shower cartridge myself due to a stripped set screw (I tried everything!). Chesley was professional, prompt

My water heater was replaced by Austin Plumbing and I could not be happier with the service I received. After getting ghosted by the plumber we had used before, I was very nervous about hiring a new company. The whole process was so easy, considering the unique water heater and space we have. The plumbers and Dana, the person who answered all my questions and coordinated everything, were all very professional. On install day, 2 master plumbers came, one checked out the space, began to drain the old water heater, his partner came by a little later and both hauled and installed the new one. Very respectful of home. They were finished when they said they would be and the water heater works great. The price was fair and they are now my go-to. I have already recommended to my family and neighbors.

There is something to be said for timing and circumstances lining up. It turns out that a new Plumbing company came into creation at the beginning of the year and they would end up being our greatest help during the Icepocalypse of 2021.
Shout out first to my man Manuel (a.k.a Manny) for helping out a Pflugervillian who desperately needed to get the hot water working again. He was able to help us get the assistance we needed during a time when other plumbers had a 2-week waitlist.
Next up was Codi. The man. The myth. The legend.
He was able to diagnose the water heater's issue in a matter of moments and suggested a fix that was a simple matter of swapping one heating element for another. Even when I admitted I probably caused the issue, he just took the time to explain so I could learn vs lecturing.
Hands down - I would work with Codi and the gang again. Once we're clear of everyone else in Texas needing help, I look forward to working with them on future plumbing projects. Worth every dollar spent to get back to some sense of normalcy.

My number 1 frustration with plumbers is when they hide their pricing until you've paid a service call fee. Austin Plumbing, however, was up front about their hourly rate and doesn't try to scam you like Roto Rooter and other big name plumbers. The job was finished within 2 hours of calling and within 20 minutes of arriving at my house. I paid for 1 hour of labor + parts and sales tax, nothing more.
The plumbers were courteous, fast and professional.
Austin Plumbing will be my go-to for future plumbing work.
CJ is very courteous and professional. He quickly assessed the various problems with our bathrooms and made sure we were aware of what he was doing every step of the way. Highly recommended!
I have to correct my negative post. They responded again and quickly found the problem (which was difficult and insidious), and were true to their warranty.
They will be my go to plumbing company from now on.

Ever since the big freeze, it has been so challenging to find plumbers that are willing to take the time to really identify the problem and do repairs right the first time.
Had a broken shower handle and could not turn the water off. Many companies state that they are 24hrs, but are not. Austin Plumbing responded to me immediately and was to my home quickly. It was a relief to know that there is still a company out there that does provide the kind of service that they say they will provide!!
Business owner contacted me very quickly to get me on the schedule in a couple of days, which I appreciated since it was my main line that was clogged. CJ showed up in a mask and finished the work promptly and throughly cleaned the lines going over it multiple times to make sure everything was clear. There was no price gouging considering the amount of plumbing calls that are being made after the winter storm. The amount quoted via text was the amount charged and I didn't have to wait til someone came out to inspect it in order to find out the price. Many other companies couldn't tell me over the phone how much a basic clog cost. Overall I was extremely impressed with Austin Plumbing and will use them again for another repair.

Had an issue that needed immediate attention and they were able to send someone to fix the problem promptly
Alerted us to time of arrival. On time. Very decent in relating. Focused on problem and worked efficiently. Reasonable price.
It turned out our issue was one that was easily solved. The great part, however, was the quick communication when we needed a plumber when we reached out through Yelp. The whole appointment was scheduled through the chat and was really easy. They said what time they would be at my house and they showed up right on time. So, compared to how some folks out there who don't communicate and give you an 8 hour window when they'll be there...these guys were above the rest!
Showed up fairly promptly, charged us at a rate commensurate with other estimates we got, ordered the parts they needed, and returned and finished the job properly. Based on our one experience thus far, we would recommend to others.
Stellar job by Chelsey and Codi. After dealing with Pipe Doctor in San Antonio and their excuses on why they were adding additional charges to their previous invoice without proof, I found Austin Plumbing after requesting quotes through Yelp. They responded quickly and had a better price than everyone else and excellent reviews so I hired them. They had automated texts for confirmations which helped a lot. We have terrible service where I am so texts help us a lot rather than constantly being cut off and having to redial. They showed up and not long afterwards they removed our broken water heater and replaced it with a new one. Even before they left, we got a notification saying they were done. We payed and we immediately got our receipt. We finally have hot water! It was also nice that they talked to us through the process and kept us notified in case there were any changes. Now we know who exactly to go to when we need plumbing. Awesome people. Awesome service.
Codi and Chesley did a great job! We originally called them to install a new water heater. They were timely, efficient, and very helpful! While they were at our home, I asked them to take a look at our Pressure Release Valve. The water pressure came back high during our Home Inspection. They confirmed the pressure was very inconsistent. I asked for a quote to have it replaced. They provided the quote in a very timely fashion and guided me on how to have the utility lines marked in my yard since they would have to dig. The icing on the cake is that Codi kept in touch and was very understanding when the City was delayed marking our property. Overall, we hope we don't have to, but we will be using Austin Plumbing in the future should we need to!

After receiving hourly price I asked to call me but no one contacted me since . I understand that all plumber are very busy these days however it is not an excuse .
We had Austin Plumbing come out and fix our dishwasher and they knocked it out in no time. Two weeks later we had our water heater stop working and had them out again. They put in a new part and it turned out the part was faulty, so both Codi & CJ came out the next day and checked everything and put in a new part. Much love for these guys standing by their work!

I so wish I could have provided a better review. I initially hired them to replace my water heater. I continued to have problems with the hot water after the installation and that led to 8 weeks of a very unpleasant and stressful experience with them. I felt taken advantage of. I didn't trust their advice, work and pricing. They ultimately replaced the shower cartridges. They measured them and ended up bringing the wrong type so had to come back again. they charged me more than I expected and when I asked for a receipt on the parts, they refused. I knew they are up charging but felt that they were charging my double what the parts cost and the plumber who was at my house for very unpleasant and threatening when I kept demanding a receipt. I ended up paying the full price and they never provided a receipt for the actual cost. I felt like I had already invested so much that I couldn't change to a different plumbers but the overall experience left me feeling unfairly treated and taken advantage of. I think they do good work but their practices are not trustworthy.
Cody called to let me know he would be there in 15 minutes. Showed up on time. Was very considerate. Took off shoes inside house. Job was easy and Cody was efficient and professional. Would recommend!

The guy was really professional. He installed a faucet and checked the whole water pressure. He was very friendly and gentle to me. I strongly recommend that you should use this company.
Monster good service from the two techs who responded to my call. Although the wait for service was several days, I figured that was indicative of a good service company. Someone who can respond quickly usually means that they aren't that good and has time on their hands. I can't recall the technician's names, I'm not so good with names, but excellent service I will always remember. Once onsite, they took less than 30 minutes to completely replace a 50 gallon HWH! The online estimate was provided with a $200 buffer. The bill came in at less than the median bid price. Meaning, they could have bumped the bill right up to the maximum of range, but rather, the final price was much closer to the lower end of the estimate range. That makes one believe that Austin Plumbing is a legit operation, deserving of my business now and in the future. I will highly recommend Austin Plumbing to me friends and family.
Austin technicians moved a gas connection to accommodate my newly purchased range. Their estimate to do the work was half of an estimate from another company. They were professional and efficient. I am very pleased with their work. Excellent company.
They were quick to respond, exceptionally affordable, and the technicians were very friendly. They gave me an unbeatable quote for installing a new water heater in our home and stuck by their price after the job was done. However, I have to give 4 stars as they left the home without noticing that electricity wasn't being transferred to the new unit. We waited a few hours to see if it would kick on or need more time, but eventually had to call them back to take a look (same day).
Technician was courteous and professional throughout. Wore a mask and slippers, didn't make a mess, showed me the problem parts before reassembling everything. Didn't upsell me on unnecessary procedures. Book with confidence!

I was very pleased with the quick and efficient service received by Austin Plumbing. From scheduling to service time they get 5 stars! Two technicians came to my home, installed a new plumbing fixture and quickly fixed a slow drain. I like the upfront pricing quote and there were no surprises with my bill which I was able to pay online. Kudos! I will definitely use them again.
