We had Jesse come out to do our sewer line. He was very responsive and timely. Did a great job at a very fair price compared to other local companies. We also used him for our bathroom re-piping when we were remodeling. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great plumber.

Family owned Palatine business. Mike and his brother always accommodating with scheduling and provide competitive pricing. They always do a great job and stand by their work.

Don helped me with an issue we were having with our plumbing. Our ejector wasn't working right and it was backing up repeatedly. We've had others come by to work on it, but Don was able to actually fix it. Couldn't be happier - fast and efficient.

Petersen Home Solutions is fantastic.  Jason the owner is extremely professional, as honest as they come, and meticulous with his work.  I am a landlord and run a real estate office, so I deal with a lot of contractors all the time.  As we all know, finding the good ones that are mindful of our finances, but also do great work, and are responsive and dependable....well, it's almost easier finding a unicorn.  But Jason is that guy.  He responds to my calls, texts, or emails promptly.  He always walks through things with me first, explains things in great detail, gives me options, and creates safe expectations which almost always end up being cheaper than what he prepares me for (not the other way around like most contractors).  He is jack of all trades, and anything he is uncomfortable with or thinks a specialist is better suited for, he will be forthright with that recommendation and also act as a liaison to make sure the job gets done right.  Simply put, Jason has made property management that much easier for me and I highly recommend him for jobs of all sizes!

I was in need of a plumber to repair an outside faucet. I turned to the community groups on Facebook looking for recommendations. Wanted to avoid the large companies as have had bad experiences in the past.

In the Bartlett community group 3 people recommended Scott. I e mailed him explaining what I need done. He responded back quickly with an answer and a apology that he could not get to it until tomorrow.

When Scott arrived to start the work he realized it was something out of the ordinary and instead of saying that he couldn't or didn't want to do it, he explained the options to me. Once a decision was made Scott said it would take a second trip out to finish the job and he was very apologetic about not being able to finish it in one day even though it was not his fault but the fault of a previous contractor.

Scott arrived the following day to complete the job. He explained that because the work involved was more detailed the fee would be more then quoted, once again apologizing even thought he had nothing to do with the initial screw up.

I highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a professional to plumber and person. Scott has earned all my future plumbing business.

This company is awesome!!! The night before I was about to leave on vacation I noticed that my garbage disposal way broken and clogged and emitting a foul odor. I scrambled to find someone on Yelp that could come first thing in the morning. The owner responded in minutes to my Yelp request and she moved things around to get my appointment before my flight. The technicians were right on time, did a great job (even explaining how everything worked) and made sure they left my home exactly the way it was. In and out in under an hour! Will definitely be calling back again!!!

Most people aren't aware that some of us still have grease traps in the basement, i had one! It exploded and distributed stinking grease all over my laundry room, foul odor! Called the first plumber (won't mention by name), who gave me a time but they were a no show! Started the search over and First Chance popped up, young man answered the phone, gave me the same day time appointment and he showed up! Thank God! He gave me an estimate, which I felt was reasonable, Daniel and Bob completed the work, which looks good and works perfectly! Highly recommend First Chance plumbers!

We had a kitchen remodel with new countertop and new sink installed. Needed the sink pipes to be reconnected professionally. Eugene did an ok job as the pipes are reconnected and working.
Since he was here, we needed shut off valves replaced as they were leaking. Eugene got them replaced.
After he left, we discovered another shut off valve that needed to be replaced. Called Eugene back for this and he was willing to come back for this but that would take time.
As we didn't want to wait, we had someone else come in. This second plumber noticed Eugene's work on valve replacements were not done properly. Eugene only replaced the front knob part of the valves when he should have replaced the entire valve and charged for full parts and labor. NOT very professional. I'm now not even sure if he is licensed?
I usually don't write reviews but thought I should let it be known.

Additional remark
Greedy? You didn't properly replace the valves. Only replacing the front knob part, which is what you did, solves the immediate leak problem, but the whole valve should have been replaced to prevent any further problems. How is that greedy?

Our basement sump pump was making a noise do to it's age so we had CCP come out and replace it. We are extremely happy with the work that was done. We can now sleep peacefully at night without the old pumps noise. Also their rates are reasonable. Very nice and respectful plumber. I highly recommend this plumbing company. I'll post some pictures my wife took.

I got ripped off by these guys.  The plumber came out and claimed to have rodded out my sewer line to the city connection.  A flat out untrue statement -- He never even made it out of the house (I watched him the entire time.).  They never did the work they claimed to and charged me $340.  Unless they call me back and offer a refund, I'll never use them again.

We needed a plumber, it was Easter weekend and wasn't sure we would be able to get a plumber at such short notice. I called Jim early Saturday morning, made awn appointment for the next morning. Jim got to our house at 9:00 and fixed our plumbing issue in no timed flat. He was accurate, and affordable. Jayde and Derrick

Kuhn Plumbing is THE BEST.  For many years it has provided us (100y/o+ house) with excellent work and perfect customer service. Has never failed!

Beware of back end pricing.
Purchased a home that needed major renovations. Was quoted over $2000. I agreed. When work was done the technician  said he found more wrk that needed to be done. His boss came out and quoted me  $600 for new work. Okay, fine. Set up time, technician came out for second round of repairs and low and behold they said all my pipes needed to be replaced and quoted me a range of $2000  - $3000. Get the hell outta here! I immediately dismissed them from my list of contractors and hired another plumber who did the repairs for $650 and passed all village inspections.
Beware of back end pricing. They will get you with a reasonable price and find something MAJOR and try to screw you with an even higher price. Get multiple, multiple bids before going with cal city.

I recently contacted escobar construction to fix my attic excellent experience the contractor Cristian Escobar was very detailed with the estimate since the beginning that's what calls my attention when they were here in my house they cover everything no dust were going into the rest of the house they cleaned every single day they worked I have no complaints at all these people are very humble professional responsible. I recommend this company and Cristian Escobar the manager contractor 100% satisfaction

By far one of the worst of the lot!!

Communication should have been the first red flag.  

I picked the place because of the proximity to my property.  I figure I could use a trusty plumber since I had multiple properties in the area.

Bill gave me an appointment time and promised to call an hour in advance.  Fail!  Did not call and did not show up at advertised time.

When i called, he proceeds to make all types of excuse.  

Finally sent someone out who showed up 3 hours after the fact.  

The man quickly assessed the situation and said he would get the job done for a quoted price.  I haggled with him for a cheaper price. He agreed to the price but did a cosmetically terrible job. Plumbers should take pride in the job they do.  Not this service.
That didn't bother me as much.  My problem is that the drain is still leaking.  How can you proudly fix a drain as a plumber and the drain still leaks?  At least glue the leak properly

Called Bill the next day to let him know that the job done was terrible and he made all types of excuses why. He says the drain needs rodding and there's grease everywhere. I wasn't told this when i was making payments. So why not offer that information when you fixed the drain in the first place?  When I go to the mechanic to change my oil but my engine has a hole in it... he'll mention it to me.  

Not with this service.  Patched the problem and took the money and ran.  Not even a receipt.

Do yourself a favor.  Do not use this service.

This company isn't actually a local plumbing company and is just a shell. They're Beverly plumbing and asked me how to spell Damen Avenue. They told me they'd contact a tech and and get back to me about how fast someone could get out to me. Ten minutes later I called back and asked for an update and they had forgotten and asked me to call back in another two minutes

Terry Cox and his so called partner, Ray prey on the elderly. They were referred by a City of Chicago water inpector to do a big plumbing job for my father, whom is a retired City of Chicago worker. The first estimate was $7,000, the next day my dad was presented with a contract of $22,000 for repairs, which he paid. However, they left the place in shambles everyday with exposed safety hazards.   3 day job took 2 weeks with daily issues that were popping up to add to my father's total expenses. Several complaint calls were made to Terry Cox the owner, he would screen his calls and returnm the calls two to three days later. When Terry Cox went out of town, Ray his nephew requested an additional $2200 in cash from my father and begged my father not to let the owner Terry Cox know of this transaction. Once Terry was notified he came on site, he stated he would replace the concrete porch and the landscaping due to the unprofessional behavior from his nephew. They replaced the porch with no support and the landscaping is less than, to say the least. There are large spaces between the concrete and the dirt. There is even a family of stray cats living in the space. When we threatened litigation, Ray called and used profanity and was threatening towards two family members. We are now pursuing action with the BBB and Lisa Madigan's office and have contacted several news stations' investigative reporters. These thieves that prey on the elderly need to be put out of business!!!!!
