We had Jesse come out to do our sewer line. He was very responsive and timely. Did a great job at a very fair price compared to other local companies. We also used him for our bathroom re-piping when we were remodeling. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great plumber.

This was service that went above and beyond. I called Mike on Saturday night at 6:50 p.m. to ask if he would be able to replace our sump pump, as we are expecting rain for the next 12 hours. He arrived at our house by 7 p.m. So professional and such a pleasure to work with. Extremely reasonable pricing and advice to make sure we don't have problems in the future. Loved working with Don and his son! I had a broken dishwasher, and I thought I would have to spend almost $1k to replace it. But Don & son saved the day! They were fast, efficient, and price was very reasonable. I'd recommend them to anyone who is in need of repairs.

We have a leaking in our living room ceiling near the bay window and really want to get it fixed before the temperature drop and the rain/snow starts to hit.  It was only a very short time window. We are very glad we found Jason. He was very responsive and honest when we first tried to get a estimate and time schedule. He came in time and did some investigation around the leaking, and caulked the gap between the bay window and the exterior wall. He is very professional, honest and reasonable priced.  He really wants to do the work right and stands behind his work. Thank you Jason.

I had to write another review about Marhofke Plumbing because honestly Scott has bailed me out quite a few times. This last go around was because my 5 year old kitchen faucet was just coming unglued. Imagine my surprise when I found out it was because it had been installed improperly. After Scott replaced it, not only did it work well but the ease of how it worked was unbelievable. I had struggled with it all those years and didn't know. Scott of course gave the previous plumber the benefit of the doubt but there was no doubt in my mind. One knows what he's doing and many others do not.

So if you are in his Bartlett, Streamwood, Hanover Park area don't even look for anyone else.
This is the tradesman you want.

Eugene Plumber was unbelievable. Responded to me in less than 24 hours with an appointment time for that day regarding my garbage disposal. Made the trip to Home Depot for me to pick up new product and installed in under an hour. Price was very fair. Kind and efficient. Would absolutely use him again. Thanks !

Our basement sump pump was making a noise do to it's age so we had CCP come out and replace it. We are extremely happy with the work that was done. We can now sleep peacefully at night without the old pumps noise. Also their rates are reasonable. Very nice and respectful plumber. I highly recommend this plumbing company. I'll post some pictures my wife took.

Floor drain in basement utility room backed up which happens about once per year.  Saturday morning I called Roto Rooter and asked if they could come out and Rod the line from the access opening in my front yard, they had someone to my house in 30 minutes however when on the phone with the scheduler I asked how much do they charge to clear out a soft clog from access plug in yard back to house, a job that usually takes 30 minutes or less.  She stated that the person doing the job would quote the job when they arrived.  When he arrived he quoted me $520.00!  I said I had the same job done last year on a Sunday that a local plumbing company performed and they only charged me $100.00 due to the fact it only took them 20 minutes to clean out.  The technician told me he could knock off $100 but he doesn't set the price corporate does.  So of course I needed the drain cleared so I signed the paper work but asked that a manager call me.  I received a call from the manager two hours later and I told him that what I was charged for a 30 minute call was unacceptable and he said that they charge a fixed fee.  He said what if the job would have taken 3 hours; I said I then would have paid more for the time but why should I pay a fixed rate for only 30 minutes of labor!   They take advantage of people due to their dire circumstances and they know we won't turn back someone who is already on site to fix the problem.  If they would have told me the cost on the phone when I asked I would have searched for other plumbers.   I will NEVER use this company again.  Make sure you get their fixed price up front before allowing them on site.

I noticed on another review below dated 8/2017 they state that Jim's mother was ill? I was told by Debbie on Dec 21 2016 that Jim's mother passed away. See below.  DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.  BTW I've never received by money back. So, not sure about the part of you writing you are not crooks.

came to clean out sewer. took forever  they had it fixed right away but stayed a long time just to pad the bill

No Call. No Show. No Response. Had a new kitchen sink and faucet installation scheduled for this morning at 8:00. Cristian and I spoke on the phone and via text, I sent photos at his request, and he gave me a price of $500 for the job. I reached out last night to confirm the installation this morning, but I received no response. I tried calling and texting this morning as well but received no answer and no response. It's now after 9:00... At least I didn't give these guys any money.

If I could post negative stars... I would. These people suck!! They're too old and absolutely CANNOT do simple jobs. Too expensive. Take up tons of time. Require 3-5 days for simple things. Don't follow through. Never again

This company isn't actually a local plumbing company and is just a shell. They're Beverly plumbing and asked me how to spell Damen Avenue. They told me they'd contact a tech and and get back to me about how fast someone could get out to me. Ten minutes later I called back and asked for an update and they had forgotten and asked me to call back in another two minutes

Terry Cox and his so called partner, Ray prey on the elderly. They were referred by a City of Chicago water inpector to do a big plumbing job for my father, whom is a retired City of Chicago worker. The first estimate was $7,000, the next day my dad was presented with a contract of $22,000 for repairs, which he paid. However, they left the place in shambles everyday with exposed safety hazards.   3 day job took 2 weeks with daily issues that were popping up to add to my father's total expenses. Several complaint calls were made to Terry Cox the owner, he would screen his calls and returnm the calls two to three days later. When Terry Cox went out of town, Ray his nephew requested an additional $2200 in cash from my father and begged my father not to let the owner Terry Cox know of this transaction. Once Terry was notified he came on site, he stated he would replace the concrete porch and the landscaping due to the unprofessional behavior from his nephew. They replaced the porch with no support and the landscaping is less than, to say the least. There are large spaces between the concrete and the dirt. There is even a family of stray cats living in the space. When we threatened litigation, Ray called and used profanity and was threatening towards two family members. We are now pursuing action with the BBB and Lisa Madigan's office and have contacted several news stations' investigative reporters. These thieves that prey on the elderly need to be put out of business!!!!!
