These guys are honest and the job was done right.  I am selling a home and had a leak that needed to be fixed fast.  They were out within two hours and did not charge for an emergency call.  The gave me an estimate before the work started and the final work was the lower end of the estimate. If you are in the Orland Park area I would use these guys.

The repairman was on time. He took care of my problem & all was good. Never used this company but will again in future.

Joe was out today to tackle some things at our condo (newer construction).
In short, I stand by my review below!  Still the same excellent dude.
Also responds promptly through his answering service, and it's never a big scheduling issue to get him out.
NOTE: he doesn't want to do big remodeling jobs.  If you're just switching stuff out, or have repairs, he's your guy.  But check with him, you know?
PS: I ordered stuff from Algor plumbing in Cicero.  I get the discount since I'm working with a plumber & you can tell Pekny has serious cred at this place.

Excellent honest very fair priced old school plumber. He worked hard for four hours straight and the bill was 40 % less than the big company quotes plus when the job ran longer than expected because of the common snafus he stayed until 9pm to get it finished and cleaned up everything. Also has an easy going friendly personality. I couldn't be more pleased and am shocked he doesn't have many more reviews.

Had received a quote from another plumber for my cabin in Three Oaks.  Thought it was somehwat high so decided to get a second quote before proceeding...so glad I did!  Not only was Goodman lower but my experience from initial call to on-site completion was top-notch on all.  Nick (owner) took time to explain the issues and even though they ran into an unexpected on-site issue (I actually had a 120v water heater versus a 220v), he was able to pivot immediately and get a new unit in and install it the very next morning in time for guests arriving following day.   Could not recommend this company enough - just an honest, efficient, professional small business that always make sure they have a happy and satisifed customer whatever it takes.  Thanks to Goodman team and will be recommending you to all the other owners at Lakeside Cabins!

Bob came to install new plumbing fixtures and took it the extra step in suggesting a repair on a few instead of replacing. I greatly appreciate his honesty and vast knowledge. We are so happy with his professionalism and quality of work. Thank you Bob!

We needed help with removing our toilet and replacing the wax ring, but we didn't have the tool to cut a rusty screw. They were quick to respond to my initial call and flexible with coming later the following day when my husband was home from work. They arrived on time and were done very quickly, at an affordable price. Both men were polite, friendly, and social. We will definitely be saving their number for future needs!

Our shed doors were falling from the hinges.  This was due to rain water and snowmelt rotting the wood at the base of the door and the framing around the doors.  Gus evaluated the job via pictures.  He texted me and came on a day where he had completed a job.  He was prompt, extremely courteous, and went as far to source the wood and parts at Home Depot nearby.  We were extremely pleased with the finished job.  The doors are again perfectly functional and the quality of work is outstanding.  Will call Gus for any future handy work.

I've unfortunately had to use Glenbrook plumbing more that I would like, they've fixed many issues for me - including leaky faucets, faulty toilets, hot water heater replacement, ejector pump failure (2X), clogged toilets (I have boys that like to flush things down the toilet) and most recently a free standing tub with leaky pipes. Bill Jr. Bill Sr. And many of their employees did a fine job. Prices seem fair for the Northshore. They are prompt and dependable which matters most, especially in a plumbing crisis!

I have a gut rehab in Chicago and I called to see if this was a company that can handle the plumbing. This guys was extremely rude and just wanted the address. He then said, You wouldn't have the money for me, I don't want my trucks in that area. Our property is just off Oakpark and in a great up-and-coming area. I earn six figures and this is my 4th property. Just because I am a minority doesn't mean I don't have the money to work with you. I probably earn more money then you anyway, but above all this guy was very condescending. If you are a minority or someone that supports equal rights, don't give this guy your business. Let him earn it in white collar communities he probably can't afford to live in himself.

Very expensive....Needed a shot of freon...Total bill $453.66...Tech was here less than half an hour...did nothing else.

We recently hired him for a small shower renovation. We paid him $4k and he never finished the job. We had 3 separate plumbers check his work and All of them said it was incorrect. We ended up paying someone else to finish the job correctly. He ghosted us and never responded to us after he took our money. HORRIBLE! Please Do Not Hire Him!!!

This company is awful. I just payed 265$ to have my drain snaked. They charged me 90$ to show up and another 160 in labor for 30 min of work.  I wasn't aware they were they were curing cancer. They did clean up so they billed me for an hour. The business is less than a mile from my house(Why not charge 90$ for the 3min trip over) Lets send two guys for a job that only takes one. (Doesn't double billing pay better than single billing:) I wonder how people sleep at night???
