Lyman is a true professional. We own an older home in Arlington and have used him twice over the last year. He is very responsive (and good with email) and timely for appointments. George replaced the drain from the kitchen sinks to the main drain pipe.  He quoted me a price and time for arrival.  He was on time and wasted no time getting to work replacing the leaking drain pipe from the kitchen sinks to the main drain pipe.  He also replaced all the drain pipes under the kitchen sinks.  He used all new parts, opened everything in front of me, worked quickly, removed all the trash and old parts, and cleaned up the areas where he worked.  He was very polite and professional.  Answered my questions about the kitchen drains.   Tested all the connections to ensure no leaks.  Gave me written receipt - price was exactly as he quoted.  I found George on yelp - and chose him from his positive reviews.  I am very happy with the work and will definitely call George when I need a plumber again.

First of all he doesn't bother wearing a mask and covering his shoes white getting in a place and he would come close to talk so no safety measures at all. Infact he was complaining about wearing mask and the should have been a red flag to me. Well I understand that many businesses charge more on weekends which I was ok to pay as I had to resolve the flooding issues in the basement. He has been quit rude in the first place when told me that he would be charging 600$ and if I didn't confirm it in 10 minutes he wouldn't do the job and he started talking about his kids and wife being left just because he will be taking the job. Dude no one forced you to take the work you don't want to do on a week end it's purely your choice and u are not doing it for charity
He kept pushing me for the camerascopy which honestly I didn't mind doing and paying extra but each time I would ask him to let me think he would, with a rude attitude, tell me that I only have 10 minutes to decide else he won't do it.
I totally don't trust his work and I am more then happy to pay someone else to do the job again and at least be nice the client. Would never recommend him to any one.
His work ethics are out of question. Beware he doesn't wear a mask he will talk to you getting close and he would enter the house with his shoes

These guys were so good I took the time to call the office after they'd left to sing their praises.  They were timely, professional, and the service was quick, friendly, informative and affordable.  We will be calling them with any plumbing problem we have from now on!

I've used Kensington Plumbing for a few projects. Robin in the office is great, and gets back to you asap. I prefer communicating via text, and she has no problem with that. The guys that come out are professional, extremely courteous, and look for the most expeditious, and cost effective way of taking care of your problem. I highly recommend! Will always use them.

If I could, I would give them more than 5 stars because the service provided by American Leak Detection was well above my satisfaction. Brian D. was the technician sent to locate my leak. He went above and beyond my expectations. He was professional, quick, and meticulously explained his findings. I am so thankful for his expertise. While searching for the leak I was concerned about, he discovered other sources that could eventually lead to future leaks. He detailed these potential leaks in his report. I feel completely armed with all the information I need to resolve the elusive leak.

I've used this service several times and have always had professional and reliable work done at a fair price. I highly recommend this business.

Tim just fixed my toilet and appears to be working fine.  In my mind, it was a tricky job.  It was making a funky sound every hour or so.  He was able to diagnose the problem, had the parts on his truck to fix it.  Figured out what was causing it... also fixed that.  I felt his work was top quality.  He did not try to do more work than was necessary, it was a fairly simple fix, once he figured out the cause of the issue.  

My guess is that other plumbers may not have been able to quickly sort out the cause of the problem.   The final, total cost was not cheap... but nothing is these days and it accounts for his drive time and parts, so I felt it was a very fair price.  As they say, you get what you pay for.

Will call him again in the future if we have other issues.  And will change my rating if this fix does not work... but as of now, very happy with the quality of his work and the overall communication his company provides.

I used the reviews here to make a call and ask for plumbing service. Three calls with voicemail each time, providing clear info on project, and call number, but they never called back.

Tom is a gem! So glad I found a reliable honest plumber.  He was timely with his response to my initial call, made time for an appointment for me right away, and was pretty much right on with his initial estimate.  Most of all I appreciate his being upfront about there work he would perform, and clearly very knowledgeable!

The did a great job and definitely knew their stuff.  My only concern was they couldn't really give me an exact price in advance but still, their price was reasonable and I'd use them again.

Did my research and was not disappointed! Sykes was prompt affordable and informative. They came took time to fix the issue and explained what the issue was. I will be calling them in the future for all my plumbing needs. I recommend this business and appreciate their services!

Do not use this company. They misdiagnosed where the leak under my slab. First, they said the leak was in the power room. The plumbing company jackhammered there but found no leak. Then they said it was in the kitchen near the wall adjoining the power room. They jackhammered there but again no leak. The plumbers themselves found the leak on the other side of the kitchen. American Leak Detection refused to refund the $675.00 that the worker promised that if they were wrong about where the leak was and because of that I have three holes to repair instead of one.
