When our problem originally came up, H2O Plumbing was quick to schedule a consultation and had Jose at our house in a few hours. It was great! I explained that the main line was clogged and that it needed to be cleared as waste was backing up into our toilet and bathtub. Jose removed our toilet and snaked our bathtub and toilet, leaving everything running and fixed. If this had been the end of our story, H2O plumbing would have a glowing 5 star review from me.
When Jose left, we asked if we would be sent an invoice since our landlord needs it for tax purposes.
Jose confirmed that we would be receiving one and informed us to give our contact information to the contact on Yelp. Jose had payment made to him directly, not to the business H2O plumbing. Fine. Whatever. But after asking several times by phone, text, and Yelp message, we still have not received an invoice for the work done on our house. Even this lack of follow up wouldn't prompt a 1 star review.
Jose gave us clear instructions on how to prevent new clogs. We bought a hair trap for the shower drain, cut down on toilet paper usage. And barely used the bathroom after Jose visited because we went out of town 4 days after work was completed. We came home a week later (now 10 days after or main line had been supposedly cleared, the shower had been used maybe once and the toilet had been used a handful of times - there are two bathrooms on our property) and after we return, the toilet backs up immediately. Even better, the kitchen sink is now in on the action, indicating to me that the clog was not cleared, but instead pushed further down the waste line. I called and left a voice message asking if Jose could come back on Saturday. Nothing. I called again on Monday, the voicemail is full and cannot accept any new messages. Great. I text the business number, nothing. I message on Yelp. Nothing. My husband and my landlord call in the off-chance that they are just screening my number at this point. Nothing. We have been reaching out every day for 6 days now hoping that we could have some follow up on a job that was not done correctly, and it has been radio silence. No invoice. No follow up. And now I'm writing this while an entirely different plumber is clearing our line confirming that Jose did not use the correct equipment.
I genuinely hate giving bad reviews. If you look at my profile, you will see that I strive to be as far from a Karen as possible. But this is truly irritating and the lack of response has cost us another $800 and a week of having to wash our dishes in the basement.
